Chad is an outstanding internet sales person. He is is very responsive, and always available to dialogue. Most sales people are business hours, but not Chad. He is there when you are in need of an answer. I have never had as positive an experience with internet sales as I did with Chad.In the end I did not buy a car from this dealer, simply because I found a vehicle at my local dealer which met my needs. But, because of Chad I would certainly recommend doing business with them.

I had casually been looking to replace my car a little sooner than originally intended due to missing a couple of features. I came across a promising prospect on the Porsche Atlanta Perimeter web site. Billy was very easy to speak with and seemed honest. His supervisors were thorough and responsive. The negotiation was straight forward and simple. Billy was very patient and thorough when introducing me to my new Cayenne GTS as I am a first time Porsche owner. I have owned many vehicles over my lifetime but have never special ordered a car (until now) from a dealership. I have spoken with many dealerships in the southeast, all professional, but none that went beyond my expectations to the extent Perimeter Porsche has thus far. My salesman is Gerry Fazzari. Gerry went to bat for me, advised me on recommended options for my car tailored to my needs, practical color combinations that made sense for me personally and worked with his team and arranged the deal I was looking for. His level of professionalism was beyond my expectations, he wanted to make certain I would be pleased with my purchase. I can tell this is a dealership that genuinely wants to earn my business. Within a few days of my initial conversation with Gerry, I received followup introductory calls from Chris Treadwell, Sales Manager and Eric Mihelich, General Manager. Not pushy, strictly introductory and showing appreciation for me considering their dealership. Several friends recommended this dealership and everything they stated in advance was spot on. While shopping for a small luxury SUV, I researched on-line, narrowed down the ones I wanted to test drive and then asked my husband to join me as I popped into Porsche Atlanta Perimeter one afternoon. My first impression of May Neff, in sales, was that she was friendly, had a great passion for the vehicles she represented (which came through as genuine and not pushy) and was extremely knowledgeable about the Macan (you would think that would be a given but it was not the case at another dealership where I knew significantly more from my research than the salesperson). Due to an unexpected health issue, I delayed finalizing a choice for a few months. I then made an appointment with May and planned to either buy from her or another dealership we had visited. May listened to the options I wanted and said she thought I should look at the Macan Turbo instead of Macan S. I now drive a Macan Turbo that I cannot say enough good things about! Everyday errands are enjoyable-even in Atlanta traffic! My Macan Turbo's handling, quality interior and great options make for a fun and fabulous ride! Porsche Atlanta Perimeter's staff is the tops. Our personal experience interacting with May Neff, Sales Professional, Michael McGregor, New Sales Manager and Eric Mihelich, GM produced a sale that day. My husband is someone who is not a push over so it took an extremely bright, knowledgeable and dedicated staff to convince him to make this purchase even though we had planned to buy that day from one of the two dealerships we had visited. I have been lucky enough to now have completed two transactions with Gene, and when I say lucky I mean it! Gene makes the process of buying a car fun! Some might say "that is easy because it is a Porsche" but it isn't. In the end you are making a high cost purchase decision that you want to be both comfortable with and excited about. What separates Gene from other salespeople is that he intimately understands the product from a technical standpoint and the strengths and weaknesses of any given model. For me this is huge because I have bought many cars from other manufacturers where I know more than the salesperson. I recently retired from the Marine Corps after 30 years of service and set my sights on a Porsche Cayman as my retirement present. I saw a Cayman online at Jim Ellis and Gene called me back. The initial Cayman sold before I could get over to see it. Gene phoned me back a few weeks later and told me about the Cayman I now own. Gene is a fantastic sales rep and also a great mechanic. He told me to call him anytime with questions as he used to work as a mechanic at the dealership, A very all around knowledgeable sales rep. My Porsche saved my life. I was first introduced to Jim Ellis Porsche through their collision center after I moved to Atlanta from California and was broadsided in my 911 by a red light runner. My car was totaled, and after I got out of the hospital, the wonderful folks at Jim Ellis Collision pried off the hood medallion in the blazing summer heat (while wearing suits no less) for me to keep as a good luck charm that I still carry to this day. So of course, when it was time to purchase another Porsche, I came back to the Jim Ellis family at Porsche Atlanta Perimeter. It was here that I met Gene McClure, who shares an intense passion for all things Porsche. I was very impressed with the folks at Porsche Atlanta Perimeter. I went in last Saturday 5 PM to look for a CPO 2016 Black edition Cayman. The dealership did not have one. However, they quickly found one for me. There was only two in Atlanta area. I personally want to thank Gene McClure for making this buying experience a real joy, considering most previous vehicle purchases over the years have been a pain. I purchased a Mercedes sight unseen and had it shipped to me in Nashville.. I feel that their price was the best, and I really looked all over the country for what I wanted. My Becker Map Pilot was not in the car but Duffy had a brand new one shipped to me and it arrived via FedEx the next day. If I had to say one thing negative it would be. I did not feel like the car was really detailed very well (not a huge deal) and I even found some spare change and a remote to a ceiling fan or something in it, it was about a 7 on a scale of 1-10, but I am planning on having it detailed anyways.. Overall, I felt like it was a TERRIFIC purchase, great price and easy transaction...oh and I LOVE my new car! I would definitely purchase another car from Porsche Perimeter.

Liars and cheats. The sales rep I dealt with; Tommie Walter was very convincing that he was an honest man. I found the car I bought from them on auto trader while I was in Texas for work. I asked the salesman specifically on the first phone call I made to him if the car had ACC (adaptive cruise control) and a couple other specific features that I was looking for, and he told me it did. The car was then shipped to me after I sent in payment and signed paperwork. When the car arrived I noticed within a couple of hours that it didn't have the features I was promised. I spoke to the sales rep and he told me that the spec sheet didn't have those features and they can't return the car or do anything for me.So now I get to spend the next several weeks with my attorney and the Georgia attorney general getting my money back for trusting these people. DO NOT TRUST THEM!!!**Update. Just spoke with the general manager Erik M. he told me that he would take the car back, and then proceeded to chew me out for writing bad reviews about his business without calling him first. I told him exactly what the sales rep had told me which is that no one could take the car back and I can call his GM but they can't help me. He then told me that he didn't believe me that the sales rep told me the car had those features and he didn't believe me that there was anything I could do. I got upset at him and then he told me that Nevermind he won't take the car back. These people need a lesson in customer service.

I made a special trip to Atlanta to look at one of Porsche Perimeter's trade-ins, a Nissan 370z. I found it on the internet and was seen by Gene McClure as we had already texted back-and-forth for 2 days. Gene was outstanding in every respect; polite, well mannered & knowledgeable. I left the dealership to look at another trade-in 370z across town, at a rival dealership. I was unimpressed with the salesman & that dealership. In fact, I called Gene back at Atlanta Porsche Perimeter ( Jim Ellis) from the rival dealership's parking lot and told Gene I would take his offer. He offered & then arranged the transport of the vehicle back to Columbia. Although I'm still in the process of buying the automobile (Fedexing paperwork back-and-forth), he's on top of things and treats me as if I was his only customer. I highly recommend this dealership and Gene McClure. You absolutely will not be disappointed.P.S I wonder if he's related to Zach McClure?

My wife and I are return customers at Jim Ellis, or now Porsche Atlanta Perimeter. We have bought many cars there... Too many probably, but it's so much fun. That's right, it is fun to buy there, service there, or just sit and have a Frappe there.My most recent purchase is a guards red GT4. What an experience. Zach, my salesman is great to us. Michael, our old salesman and now sales manager is great to us. And, everyone else there are great to us. Most employees there, have been with the company for years and years. Some have even left for other careers and returned. That speaks highly of any company, especially a car dealership. We are probably on the lower end of the income spectrum of most Porsche customers. You don't need to be rich to be treated well, though. Just go in without a chip on your shoulder, relax, and talk to staff. There is a wealth of knowledge and experience to help customers decide what is best for them. If you ask, they're more than happy with your build or selection. This comes in very handy down the road (I.e. Trade in values). They are fine letting you know what options help, hurt, or are just a waste of money. This has been immensely helpful to us, as we trade a lot.We have dealt with 2 other Porsche dealers in the past and had a completely different experience. Sure the other guys were nice, but when it came time for trade ins, they were ready to break one off, if you know what I mean.I stumbled on Jim Ellis Porsche about 5 years ago based solely on a great deal. Now I am completely dedicated. The sales staff are personable and look after their clients, because happy clients are ambassadors for the brand and return customers. This is their philosophy.Please, give them a shot. Worse case is they don't fit and you buy from someone else. Best case, you end up like us... A dealership staff that is part of the family.

A big change of the service manager these guys are lost several phone calls two weeks to get an oil change. they have changed their policies and procedures and had two weeks to tell me. Theydidn't bother to mention. I wasted a day there. Chuck is the worst rudest service Manger I have ever met. After trading 10 years 3 Porsches with Jim Ellis I am now a Hennessy fan.

Alright, so this is car number 8 from Jim Ellis Porsche. My wife just got her Boxster Spyder. Every time we return, we are treated better and better. Now, I'm not saying that you have to buy multiple cars to be treated well there. But, the bond we have built with Michael McGregor and Zach McClure is amazing. I would consider both of them as friends of the family. They truly appreciate cars and know the brand.In my opinion, Atlanta is blessed with the best Porsche dealers in the country. Both of them are excellent. But, having dealt with the Jim Ellis brand and the same sales persons for about 5-6 years now (virtually zero turnover), I can personally vouch for their integrity and quality. And, they also have a top notch coffee bar with an excellent barista. And it's complimentary.

We just purchased our 7th vehicle from Jim Ellis Porsche, and our 6th through Michael McGregor. This time we had Zach McClure assist us, as Michael is handling the duties of Sales Manager. Just like every other time, our purchase went off without a hitch. The vehicle arrived a month early and was ready for us to pick up in just a few days (including clear bra preparation). The finance side took a total of about 5-10 minutes, and the detail job was better than any other dealer can offer on delivery (hand washed).My wife and I have always been treated like first class customers, though we are just regular folks. Both Michael and Zach are fantastic. They are very knowledgeable about the brand and as courteous as anyone I've ever met. Any time we deal with Jim Ellis, we leave with a feeling of satisfaction and look forward to our next visit. It's a shame our local dealer isn't like this. Regardless, we will NEVER purchase a new Porsche from any other dealer besides Jim Ellis.

I had experienced a really negative event with another Porsche dealer in town. So much I almost swore off the brand all together after buying 4 cars. I took a chance on Jim Ellis Porsche and my faith has been restored. I worked with Fred Giles and mentioned the negative experience with the other dealer. Fred promptly introduced me to Eric Mihelich, the General Manager. Eric was very personable and took the time to work and earn my business. Bought a car today. Michael McGregor helped me and my wife. I had been communicating since I left a lead through their site. He had been super responsive all week via email as I was on business travel. When we came in, the whole process took less than 3 hours. My trade in was appropriately valued, the car's price was good (Porsche's are never going to be a steal) and the process was efficient. Michael is the nicest guy, and made us feel comfortable at all stages of the deal. The car was detailed and delivered with a full tank of gas, in time for us to have lunch. I'll buy my next car here again.

Bought 2014 certified and had faulty brakes. Called 15 mins later to return as we were returning to Fl and Im disabled also to make sure they would take us to get rental car and was lied to as they stalled for over 2hrs and were closer to Fl. Was promised imeadiate repair by Florida dealer and said I should have just turned around. The sales person Duffy kept stalling. Now to bad. I hate my new car. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. DO NOT TRUST. Also the repairing dealer could not understand why problem was not found in certification process and it had another open caimpaign and other fault codes.

I live in New York City so the purchase was made completely 'in the blind'. May Neff made what could have been a stressful and complicated process a very easy one. I felt I could trust May from the beginning, and when I received the car that trust was validated. Even after delivery May has continued to be easy to reach and attentive, leaving no detail unattended (today she even sent me the 4 black screws for the front license plate). I also wanted to mention Barzi Tejada's excellent service, she swiftly forwarded all the title/registration documents making the NY registration a snap. As a business owner myself I know you are only as good as the people on your team. Based on my experience with May and Barzi, it looks like Jim Ellis has little to worry about. On May 30 2014, contacted your dealership in regards of purchasing a used Porche Cayenne. My husband spoke to salesman (Danny). Let him know we were interested in a Black/Beige no more miles than 13,000. After waiting he brought a Silver one. Told him not interested, while waiting for him to come back spotted a new Maghony. Really liked it. After another wait, he came back with keys. We were very excited about purchasing it. After another wait, he told us it was not for sale. We then asked him to give us a trade-in price on our Volvo, he said he would get back to us the next morning. He never did. 2 weeks prior my husband contacted salesman (Ivan) to please send available inventory. He never sent the info. I am very interested in a Cayenne, but not from Jim Ellis.

Unlike many Porsche owners, I don't have a lot of extra money. But I have done my best to work hard and save efficiently to be able now to hopefully purchase a nice preowned sports car of my dreams- a Porsche Boxster. Now I know many die hard Porsche drivers don't feel the Boxster is a true Porsche Sports car- but for us blue collared dreamers- please allow us to dream without making to much fun of us.Being my first Porsche and not being accustom to high end vehicles, I have been very apprehensive and even suspicious about the product and the sales process. I even went to the Porsche dealership close to our home in Tennessee and received the treatment that I figured would happen. When the sales professional realized I had more questions than money- they didn't have a lot of time for me.I then went online and that's where I met Steven Dooley. He has answered my every question by email and treated me with the greatest respect and professionalism. Best car buying experience i have had and i never even went to dealership! So maybe i have a problem 5 cars in last 8 yrs, but better then other addictions, that being said i have spent some time at dealers and working on car deals. My overall impression of Jim Ellis and Michael (who i mainly dealt with) was that these people (and i can't call them salesman) really care about the cars they are selling. Michael and staff really love these cars; for being out of state and dealing with ins and outs of that they to this point thane been great. I was very happy with deal we were able to work out win win all all sides. I would def go back and get another Porsche from them any day. I had originally heard about Jim Ellis from a friend as well who had recommended them to me.

Outstanding customer service! My experience with Jim Ellis Porsche began through an online inquiry reference a 2011 911 Carrera S. The price was within my price range and I had been reseaching vehicles online for a few weeks. After my initial inquiry, I was promptly contacted my their internet sales manager Michael McGregor about the car. Michael throughly answered any questions I had and even worked with me a a good faith estimate for my trade. There was a little back and forth negotiation, but in the end I got a fair and comfortable amount for my car. Mind you...all of this was done on line, since I actually live 5 hours away in the Florida Panhandle. A few days later I drove up to the dealership for a test drive of the 911. Since I liked the car, and our negotiations were already complete...knowing exactly where I stood on the purchase and trade, I "pulled the trigger" that very day, and was back at home for dinner with my sweet ride. I highly recommend Michael McGregor as a salesman. For all of you military men and women out there...he'll make an excellent battle buddy. He walked me through the car, explaining the features before, during, and after the test drive. I give all of these guys a thumps up.

My wife and I live in the Chattanooga area and have tried to do business with the local dealer with our first several Porsche purchases with no luck at all. Chattanooga is a small market and the vehicle selection and pricing is very restricted. This is what led to our devotion to the Jim Ellis franchise. If you are within driving distance (or even not), you may want to give them a shout before completing a purchase. This is the 4th Porsche that we've bought from Jim Ellis dealing with either Ryan or Michael (primarily Michael since Ryan is now in another position). My wife and I go through a lot of vehicles... I mean a lot. We are usually pretty squared away with our purchase process, but it usually involves a trade or multiple trades. Most people that deal in cars know that the trade is where you can lose your ace. Michael has always gone out of his way to ensure that we are happy and have a great experience. My wife and I have spent enough time down in Atlanta at the Jim Ellis Porsche dealership, with Michael in particular. In fact, I would consider him a friend, as he has always been extremely open, honest, and accomodating. In fact, we don't even really discuss price until we've picked a vehicle and are ready to deal. In my personal experience, if a sales person says don't worry about pricing, that is a huge setup. However, When Michael says that, he is 100% correct. Our last purchase was a Porsche Cayenne GTS. This was a substantial purchase, but I didn't even worry about the pricing point, as I knew we would be taken care of.

I was negotiating with several other dealers up and down the east coast on a 2011-2012 911. I actually went with the vehicle at Jim Ellis Porsche that was priced slightly higher -- I felt more confident in the sales process with Jim Ellis Porsche rather than the others. All in all, my experience with Jim Ellis Porsche was great! The car was delivered as advertised, and Michael McGregor was very responsive before the sale and after delivery. Some outstanding things: 1. I'm living in DC, so I had to fly down to Atlanta to take delivery on the vehicle. A limo was waiting for me at the airport to take me to the dealership. That was outstanding! 2. Once I arrived at the dealership, I was out within an hour. That was outstanding! I've found that other dealers (especially other Porsche dealers for some reason) do not respect my time. Also no last-minute negotiations on pricing or messing around with financing as I've experienced with other dealerships. 3. Follow-up on my State of Virginia license plates is prompt. What could have been better? Nothing, I'll probably purchase my next 911 from Jim Ellis Porsche.

I would have loved to write a nice review but the service and general organization of my transaction with these clowns makes me really angry. They do not communicate from one department to the other. It's like their right hand does not know what the left hand is doing. Whats worse is they dont reply to messages or phone calls. Do yourself a big favor and go to a dealership which takes pride in offering service to people who spend over $160,000 buying a car.

This is was one the nicest experiences I have ever had at a new car dealership! Scott spent almost 3 hours with me on a Friday night. This included two different test drives and then walking the sales lot to find certain cars to sit in. He was very knowledgable and very accomadating. Never once did he use a high pressure sales tactic. Actually after we found the one car I was leaning towards, he recommended I go home and sleep on it. After visiting another dealer the next day, I returned to see the car again and see what kind of deal I could get. Scott came back the first time with what I felt was an excellent deal and basically beat the other dealership rather badly. I appreciated the truthfulness and the honesty of both Scott and his manager. I have only owned the car for three days, so I haven't had an experience with the service Department yell, but I can totally recommend this sales team. Especially the salesman Scott Chmiel. They have earned a repeat customer already!!

The Internet sales department and all of the staff were excellent. All of my requests for information and pictures of the car were met in a very timely manner with polite and informative emails and phone calls. The process could not have been easier, and I had no fear flying out to Atlanta to buy the car. They arranged for a limo service to meet me at the airport, I was greeted at the door when I arrived at the dealership, and the overall customer service was fantastic. The Cayenne was in even better condition than advertised and I was on the road in my "new to me" vehicle in no time!

Outstanding service that is complete and done right the first time. Ive been taking my 996 to Jim Ellis for service since day one and usually ask for Johnathon. This guy is incrediable and the best tech that you will find on the planet. Are there less expensive service centers available? Sure, but my experience has been that these guys know what they are doing, they correctly fix the problem the first time and thoroughly inspect the car at each service level. Heres an example of going above and beyond. I had recently put a new set of tires on the car which I purchased at a specialty tire center known for high performance cars. On my way home my flat tire warning came on. This was late Saturday afternoon and the tire center was now closed. I pulled into Jim Ellis, Johnathon pulled my car in, located the problem tire, dismounted it, cleaned the inner rim (the cause of the problem), reinstalled the tire and charged me NOTHING!

No regrets -- I have exactly what I wanted in my garage. Detailing the car took longer than the sales process. After spending hours encompassing several visits trying to buy a new or late model C4S, the salesman determined that he just didn't have the car for me. I found a used 'o2 model out of state to buy. I immediately took it to the Dealer to have $2,000 of new tires and associated work done. They refused to give me a loaner. Instead of calling on them in 2 years to buy a new one I will go elsewhere first. Seems penny wise pound foolish to me

Worried about their survey cards, but not too much else. Hard to schedule appointments, often don't get to your car the day (which you had to schedule for weeks in advance) it is dropped off and they give you a junky loan ("thanks for dropping off your 996 C4, here's a smoked in Mazda").
