I had the joy of visiting Piedmont Honda today. Yes I said joy about a car dealer. Southern hospitality is alive and well at Piedmont! I was treated with kindness and respect. Even tho I had informed them that I wasn't able to buy today, Mr. Ben Fain took the time to make sure every question I had was answered. He didn't seem like a car salesman, but more of a friend. That to me is how car buying should be! With the higher prices of cars these days, car buying has turned into major life purchases. Piedmont allows you to take your time drive and compare. I brought my Honda Accord in to have the left blinker fixed and to have the battery checked. I was told that the hazard flashers worked so it must be a broken column switch. I was told by Brian that that was where they would start. But...the hazard flashers didn't work and hadn't been working. I was also told that there was a deformed battery cable and it would be over $250 to get it fixed. That raised my concern. I took it to another mechanic who found the problem to be the flasher switch and no deformed cable. I was lied to about the flashers and the battery at Piedmont Honda. It was a scam to get more money for unnecessary work.

I'm super-happy about my experience with Piedmont Honda. I went in to test drive a HR-V, but also checked out a couple used Pilots, thinking of replacing my 2004 model. Carmen Mora was exceptional to work with. I loved the HR-V, but for my family's needs, it became clear that our first priority was to replace our Pilot. The ones on the lot weren't exactly what I was looking for, but Carmen kept her eyes open, and notified me immediately when a vehicle that was exactly what we were looking for became available. We received a fair trade value on our old car and were delighted with the experience throughout.

Made an appointment to go in to talk about my option to get finance and what type of down payment will need to get into a used car I saw only. To my surprise I got approved with no money down for a 2015 Honda Accord. My monthly payments is very affordable. Sean Smith created the BEST experience possible for me! Not only is he not a pushy salesman, he is helpful when explaining all technical things about any car I wanted to see. He is beyond patient and always willing to help in any way. My experience first began with him back in June when I was just browsing. I knew when I came back to Piedmont Honda I didn't want anyone else helping me find the right car for me. He is easy going, relaxed and very knowledgeable about cars. Our experience with Piedmont Nissan in Anderson, SC was excellent. We went to see an used Honda CRV (2010). We spoke to Erin the Sales Manager. He was fantastic. Very professional, and pleasant. You can tell he enjoys his job. He then introduced us to Pete Mazza. He took us around to see several Honda CRV's. He knew what we wanted and we got a 2013 Honda CRV. She is beautiful and in very good shape. Pete should be given salesman for the year award. He too does a great job. He makes you feel very comfortable in buying a vehicle. Very pleasant, and professional. Also we found out that the dealership did a complete check on the vehicle before it was to be sold. They gave us the paperwork on all this work. Wow! Charlie was good at explaining the details yet he was never pushy. I was particularly impressed that he came in on his day off for us to pick up the vehicle and spent a huge amount of time making sure that any question we had was answered. I did have a lot of questions as cars have added a lot of new things since we last purchased a new one.Buying a new car is not a fun thing for us as we had rather be out doing something else but Charlie made it as painless as possible.

I loved my 1996 Accord with 369,300 miles on it, but it was time for a new one. I did a lot of research and went back to Piedmont Honda. I bought an Accord from them in 1983. James Moore answered all my numerous questions and did not pressure me. He asked what price I was thinking about. I had gotten a price for a base EX-L with Nav from trucar.com. He had a quick talk with his manager and the price was just a bit higher. With all the extra (useful) accessories already on the car, I felt that was a good price. They even gave me $500 for the old car. I am pleased, and love all the new features of the car.

After shopping online for weeks, comparing offers from multiple dealerships in the upstate, getting into the detailed break down of the costs for a 2016 Honda Pilot Touring AWD, Piedmont Honda gave their best offer the first time. Unlike others that started with sticker and worked their way up, then play games at the dealership when you asked for a better price, Piedmont started with their best price. With their best offer first, the choice was clear. Once inside the dealership, Charlie Coons was professional, courteous and respectful. Unlike other dealerships where the sales person would make you wait, disappear for 10+ minutes by walking into a enclosed glass box every time he/she had to talk about pricing to their manager, my experience at Piedmont was surprisingly open and transparent. Though we differed initially on their offer on my trade in, General Sales manager Rich Kirby was able to convince me of the value of the overall deal. After the deal was made on the purchase and trade in, the service getting all the paperwork completed and into my new vehicle was quick and efficient. So overall, I am very pleased with my experience purchasing my 2016 Honda Pilot Touring from Piedmont Honda.

We bought a new Pilot'15 from Piedmont, Honda In Feb. We had to order the one we wanted from the factory. We got a call every other day or 2 xs a week stating our new car was on its way. We were lied to for 3 weeks from 3 different sales men. None of their stories matched when I talked to them. I was excited to get a new '15 Pilot, but with all the lies we were told it took the excitement out of it!! I would not recommend Piedmont Honda for anything and we will NEVER go back there!

Autoparts store computer saved me from a BIG $2,000+ MISTAKE! Was trying to buy a Chevy Colarado Used Pickup truck for my husband who had no time to shop for himself. Had one all picked out and paperwork ready to go and got my husband to sacrifice his sleep to come test drive it. Since we are not mechanics and don't have money to waste we stopped at an auto part store and had them put their computer on it and we're completely disgusted with the verdict. I had never dreamed this could happen at a big Dealership let alone a Honda one. I was assured prior that all vehicles are checked out and fixed prior to being put on the lot. I was giving the Salesman, Tim Daly, the benefit of the doubt that he did not know BUT now several days later and not a single word or apology for wasting my husband's valuable time tells me he must have known and it is disturbing the vehicle is still listed for sale and feel sorry for the person who buys it... If the deal seems to good to be true IT IS! I will never trust them again and if you shop here BE SURE TO CHECK IT OUT MECHANICALLY!

We purchased a Honda Crosstour from Piedmont earlier this year and found them to be extremely pleasant and easy to get along with. No pressure, good product knowledge. When the salesman didn't know the answer to a question, he just called out someone who did. The purchase and trade were easy. We drove away pleased with the car, the money, and the total experience. She was fantastic to work with and she cared about making sure we got the car we needed and wanted. She even drove over to my work with my husband because I couldn't leave to show me one of the cars. We have been customers of Piedmont Honda service for 15 years. We own 5 Honda's. These past couple of years, we have noticed a DETERIORATION of morale, service and helpfulness, particularly in the service department. Then, the last few months, we experienced several Interstate stranding s due to erroneous info from the service dept re our Hybrids. The ultimate catastrophe was our purchase of a 2012 Civic with only 500 miles (certified used). We are not at liberty to discuss that deal due to contractual agreements. Suffice to say, we owned the car a week. Truly we are brokenhearted for we had grown to love the former service employees who have suddenly gone absent from the service dept. We are devastated both emotionally and financially. It is a sad day.

We drive up from Hilton Head to use this dealership. They, over the 5 years that I have used their service department, are the friendliest, most professional people I have ever dealt with at a Honda dealership. They have found problems when other dealerships have not, and once one of their head guys stayed 30 minutes after closing because my battery had died - only real problem, and minor at that, with my car. It had to be towed in a during terrible rain storm. He made sure it was put in correctly. We are headed past 20 other dealerships next week just to go back for our new Honda.

They offered a lower OTD and APR to bring me to their office. When it came to time to purchase, they increased the APR to a very terrible number. I had to left their terrible office. The salesman (Lance Cahill) was even yelling to me over the phone. That is the most terrible experience to me. I will never go to Honda dealer.

My husband bought a 2010 Dodge Challenger from Piedmont Dodge in June. Not even a month later we found out I was pregnant with our 2nd child and decided to get a bigger car. We understood that we would have equity run over because of us not making a payment yet but we were fine with that. When we took the car to get appraised we were told it was only worth $19,000 due to being in an accident in January. We paid almost $30,000 for it. We asked for a carfax when we first bought it and we were told it was clear, we took the car back to Piedmont dodge and was told in a very rude way that they could not or would not do anything about the situation. I will NEVER return to them or recommend them to anyone. If the situation had been handled differently and we hadn't been given an attitude about the whole thing it would be different.

We just purchased a used Honda CRV from this dealership. We were treated courteously and professionally from the 1st time we entered the dealership. Our sales consultant answered all of our questions and helped us settle on the model we chose. They did not have exactly what we wanted, but maintained contact to let us know they were looking for a vehicle for us. When the vehicle we purchased was traded, we received a call, took a test drive and quickly arrived at a great price. I had researched this vehicle on various websites and dealer websites to determine a fair price. I would highly recommend this dealership for their knowledge, courtesy and friendliness. A family member bought a new car from them 2 years ago and was shocked when they delivered the car to her at her home and signed the paperwork there. She lives 30 miles away. This dealer goes above and beyond what you would normally expect.

The sales staff has always been extremely fair and honest in all their dealings with me. I have been servicing my vehicles at this dealership all these years too and have ALWAYS appreciated their attention to detail and their honesty. All of the staff here are knowledgable and dedicated. Never have I walked away from a dealership as satisfied with my deal as at Piedmont Honda, and I have quite a deal of experience working with dealerships when I financed cars through them for several years during my banking career. I was treated courteously from the time I arrived at this dealership to the time I left.I had done my research to see how much you should pay for a Honda Odyssey and to determine the value of my trade. They gave me exactly what Black Book said my trade was worth and worked from the price that Edmunds.com said should be paid for the vehicle instead of MSRP. Do I think they made money? Of course, they made money. They are in business to make money and won't be there the next time I need a new car if they don't. But I am satisfied that they didn't try to hit a homerun off of me as so many other dealers do. I highly recommend Piedmont Honda if you are in the market for a vehicle.
