Wrote, "save old parts" on keys. Called, said "save old parts". When I went to get vehicle, they couldn't find my old parts. Doubled the autozone cost on pump, $170.00 to $350.00.Went in with a full tank of gas. Left with a half tank. This was a $500 job anyplace but a dealer. Over $1060. After I told them how bad I was getting ripped off, they reduced it to $995. I think it was a fuel filter for $20. Will never know because they didn't follow directions. Now i can't prove anything. No wonder dealerships get a bad name. This is my first time writing a review. I'm over 50 years of age. My advice is to go to a smaller shop where they want you to come back.

Phil Long Ford of Raton ? ReviewEnroute to Angel Fire, New Mexico, for family reunion, our car suddenly powered down on the highway. We were able to get safely to the side of the road and checked the manual on our Ford Escape Hybrid. We made the decision to try to make it to Raton to see if we could get repairs. Phil Long Ford of Raton was a Godsend. We limped into Raton on Sunday evening, got a motel room and went to Phil Long Ford website. It was informative, amazingly well set up, and had both an on-line appointment book and a feature to speak to a service person. WOW! We made the earliest service appointment available, for Tuesday morning, and found that a rental car agency was located next door to the service department. We managed to get our Escape to the service department the next morning. The service desk was manned by knowledgeable, efficient folks. We turned the car in, the young man said he thought the problem might be associated to a recall, and they would let us know as soon as they evaluated the difficulty. We went next door, rented a vehicle to continue our vacation. The way we were welcomed and treated by everyone in the dealership and service department from management to the custodial staff was exceptional. Everyone went out of their way to reassure us and get us safely on our way, confidant that we were in considerate, capable hands. We went on to our reunion, and received a call on Wednesday afternoon that our Escape was repaired, that the problem was involving a recall, and that it was covered by the Ford Company. We picked up our car from these amazing, professional folks, and it is running like a top. We are truly thankful for Phil Long Ford and the expert service department in Raton. They saved our vacation, and quite possibly our lives.

I brought my 2011 F250 6.7L in for service. Pete got me in and out quickly. There was a fault in the computer which required the replacement of the heating element control for the DEF tank. Steve was able to troubleshoot it and had the part in the next day and got us back on the road quickly. All the staff were very helpful.Thanks Guys.

Daniel respected my wishes not to be pressured into purchasing a vehicle. I told him what I wanted and he looked until he found me the perfect vehicle. I did not like when the finance person tried to get me to purchase a warranty. The car still had warranty and I felt as if they wanted me to pay for that.

Our transmission went out 60 miles S of Raton, NM. We had it towed to Phil Long in Raton. This was after 7 pm on a Sat night. We live in the Denver area and had to be back at work on Monday. We called the following Monday morning and spoke with the service manager, Pete. He assured us they could take care of it, and keep us apprised of all costs involved. They replaced our transmission and had the vehicle ready for us to pick up in no time. The price for parts and labor was exactly as it should have been. They did not take advantage of us, but treated us as valued customers. I appreciate their professionalism and customer service. Pete and Louis were very helpful, courteous, prompt in all communication, and spot on in all of the costs involved. They turned an unpleasant situation into a positive experience. If you are going to breakdown in the middle of nowhere, These guys are pretty terrific at taking care of you!

Got the SUV in at the time scheduled and got the work done ahead of time. Had free WiFi to help pass the time. Would recommend their service department to anyone. The only bad thing was trying to get them on the phone. This is a busy place and I kept being put on hold for 10 to 15 min. Had to hang up and try again. The answering service available is not working so I couldn't just leave my name and number. If you are going to put someone on hold for an extensive amount of time, please get back on and take their name and number and get back with them. Just Sayin'
