Service review

Despite not having an appointment, when I called the service department at Pete Moore, they told me to bring my truck in for service. When I got to the dealership, they took my truck in and had it fixed in about 2 and a half hours. When the problem was found , I was informed and told I would have it back in about an hour. My whole experience was very good.

On my birthday my car broke down a and it was very devestating. I contacted someone i knew who worked at pete moore and he directed me to someone in sales. I almost gave up

I had tried many different lots and they were turning me down because of my past. Some car lots were ridiculously high priced, others said no because I had a bad background..... I went into Pete Moore and they treated me like family.... They worked with me and found me a very nice truck. I COULDN'T THANK THEM ENOUGH!!! Bought a used car

So my wife and bought a lemon from another dealership. We took a huge loss and needed a car that was reliable and cheap. Well cheap to a point. Went to Pete Moore Chevy met Rick Down's and he got us looking right away. Wife and decided to think it over for the night. Let's just say Rick did not sell me on the first car, but I found one on the lot that met our needs. Everyone was polite and professional. Will do business with Pete Moore again!

Top Notch Service

We have worked with many car sales reps over the years, but Brian Wimett is a cut above all of them. I went in to look at a specific car, but after the test drive, I realized I wanted to go with a Jeep. I have wanted a Jeep for over 20 years. We left the dealership after telling Brian what I had decided. He had one for me to test drive the next day-and even brought it to my house. We are a busy family. We both work full-time and have two boys. The ability to test drive from my driveway was priceless. Needless to say, Brian brought home the perfect Jeep for us to try. We fell in love with it. We all worked together to come up with the right deal. He even took my trade-in for me to see what we could get for it. When I tell you he made this the easiest deal possible, I am not exaggerating. I was taken advantage of on my trade in.

I traded in my Camaro for a new car. I was told that I was getting the highest possible amount for trade in, $3,000. I thought I should of gotten more as I took great care of the car. Well, today I see it advertised for $10,000; at least 3 times the amount I was given. I am deeply hurt, and feel as though I was taken advantage of. Could it be that I was a female purchasing a car by myself? Shame on you, Pete Moore!

Epic Experience!

In the past, I have dealt with other local dealerships. I thought to return to them and be a repeat customer. I was told, "Well little lady why don't you bring your daddy back and we'll do business." Even told by another, "Where is your husband, why isn't he buying the car for you?"From my first contact with Lucas Baxter to George Miller and then Don Lindgren. I was treated with professionalism, respect and genuine courtesy, and yet, I was made to feel relaxed, welcome and comfortable. Micheal Potter made me and my daughter's experience getting a car wonderful. It was not about the sale, it was about safety, comfort and something to fit the tiny size of my daughter. He made sure when we went on the road to ask us questions about the features of the car and pointed out the fact that there were air all over and how as a parent he would purchase a car first thinking of safety. The entire staff was amazing, no high pressure sales. We were just a bunch of friends sitting around chatting and we ended up buying a car. We were warmly greeted as soon as we walked into the Dealership. Top Notch, Family Friendly Dealership

After doing my research online and found what I was looking for, I drove from Crestview to the Pete Moore Chevrolet used car lot and immediately saw the truck I had been looking at online. I was promptly met by a superb individual in Randy Charmichael, and he offered his assistance. I explained my research online, and he knew I found what I was looking for but he insisted that I test drive it. So I did, and the vehicle was even better than I anticipated. Then I knew I wanted to trade, and I had an idea what I was expecting to get for my vehicles. Randy worked diligently with his manager Phil and both were very nice and respectful to me, and we were able to negotiate a fair deal. The facilities were very nice. Randy especially went out of his way to ensure me and my elderly father who went with me were comfortable during the entire process. It was a hot day, and Randy brought us some cold water and crackers to munch on while the paperwork was being finalized. Then I was introduced to Don Lindgren to sign all the paperwork to close the deal, and Don was very thorough and understood my situation precisely, and he was able to offer me advice on keeping my credit high for many years to come. This team at Pete Moore Chevrolet feels like one big family and is very friendly and courteous. Even after I agreed to the purchase, and it was late in the day, I still got to drive home to Crestview in the truck I had picked out. I came back the next day, and Randy was able to show me how to use all the "bells and whistles" that came on this truck. I am very happy with the purchase and can't say enough about how well my overall experience went with this dealership. Randy especially deserves credit for being top notch during this deal. I hope he gets a raise for this, as I feel that he certainly deserves it. Randy was able to really connect with us, and I feel like he is now a friend for life.

Great people to deal with

I went in looking for a pick-up and ended up with an SUV. Not because Randy Carmichael was pushy, but because he was on top of his game. I told him what I needed the truck for and after looking at a few trucks he asked if I had ever considered an SUV. Comparing the purchase price, the MPG, and my other needs I ended up with a barely used Chevy Equinox. Not knowing anything about values of vehicles, I was hesitant to shop for such a large purchase by myself. I am glad now that I went to Pete Moore's. I felt very comfortable dealing with Randy. We were hesitant going in as you should going into a dealership. But from the moment we walked into the dealership we felt like we were in good hands. Wayne was very helpful with shopping for a new car. We told him our price range and what kind of car we were looking for (Chevy Traverse) and he immediately pointed us in the right direction. Once we picked a car we were interested in, Wayne answered all of our questions and was very knowledgeable. He was open and honest with us which made the experience that much better. Wayne spoke very highly of the company which made us feel safer about buying with them. He wasn't overly pushy on anything and cared more about helping us than anything. The price was a steal for us in my opinion, they are willing to work with you. In total it took a few hours to take care of everything and we were driving off the lot with our new car. My son Christian Grant recently purchased a 2010 Kia Forte with Ki Gillispie's excellent guidance and assistance. I have been trying to help my son purchase a car for the last 5 months. I live in Oklahoma city and my son Christian is finishing school in p'cola. I tried to drive down a few months ago and help purchase a car for him but, all of the 6 dealerships and many salesman couldn't help us get my son a car in his price range he could afford. I tried to communicate and maintain dialogue with many salesman at several different dealerships in the area, but non of them put effort into helping me get my son a car via long distance. When I finally found Ki, I knew he would get him in a car. Ki went above and beyond maintaining communication between my so and myself through the whole process. Ki sent me pics and info of various cars until we found the forte at an affordable price. Ki assisted my son and advised him in dealing with the credit union loan officer and made sure he got what he needed along the way, while keeping me informed through the whole process. Ki went well above the standard and made me feel I could trust him when I was several states away. I have purchased several cars thru the years and have dealt with good and bad salesman. Excellent service with Charlie

My experience with Charlie was wonderful. He was very kind, honest and helpful when I was trying to sell my car to the dealership. I originally had an appointment scheduled with Randy, who was busy with another couple. He loudly acknowledged he knew about our appointment but did not apologize about keeping us waiting for over half an hour or letting anyone else know we had the scheduled appointment with him. Luckily Charlie was able to help us out, and we really appreciate him taking the time to help me sell my car. I definitely recommend working with Charlie if you want great service!

Friendly, but typical car salesman

Told me I couldn't get a car for the Kelley Blue Book and NADA values. Wanted over $1200 more than car was worth. Didn't believe me when I showed them the NADA value. Eventually gave me the NADA if I agreed to finance through them. Maybe I expect car shopping to be quicker and easier than it is, but I just didn't like how much of a difficult time they gave me. This deal took days. Oh and on top of that the salesman said I could get the car for the NADA value if I financed through the dealership. He promised to beat my bank's interest rate and that I could finance for 48 months instead of 60. Neither of these wishes came true. I plan on refinancing. Thirteen years since I last bought

Positively speechless

My expectations going in to Pete Moore Chevrolet today we're already low considering the fact that Navy Federal turned down my pre-approval letter due to not having any credit history. These guys changed my mind quickly. John Turner, my sales consultant, did everything in his power to get the price of the car that I really wanted reduced, while Don Lindgren, my financial consultant, found me an insanely low interest rate, enabling me to still life comfortably while paying off my Chevy Volt. We purchased a 2015 van over the internet. Always a little tentative to buy something sight unseen and wire money ahead of taking delivery. The salesman (Anthony) and especially Brian Wimett, the finance guy, did everything they could to facilitate the purchase and make sure we were taken care of completely. Brian was thorough and professional. Paperwork was sent to us quickly with clear directions on what we needed to complete. When we flew in from Phoenix, the vehicle was ready for us to take delivery the following morning as planned and were out the door and down the road within an hour. Everything went exactly as we'd been promised. All of our questions were answered, all details covered. The entire staff was very helpful and nice. It was a pleasure doing business with them.

Beautiful Ride

We bought our van through e-bay and Ben and Anthony were incredible. It's a 2012 but it's the cleanest vehicle I've ever seen. They both answered any e-mails I sent in a short time, even on Sunday! I bought a 2013 Chevy Malibu from them in April 2016. It was totaled in July 2016. Because I really loved the car I had, I wanted the same car, features and all. Andy Hayes managed to get the exact car (same year with all the same features) from another dealership. Instead of trying to sell me something they had on the lot, he went above and beyond to find exactly what I wanted.

Randy did a fantastic job helping me find a car. He wasn't a typical "car salesman" and he was very easy to talk to. The shopping experience with him was great, much better than I expected, but I wasn't as happy once I got sent off to deal with other employees. I want this to be focused on how great Randy was, though. He really did a wonderful job, and if I were able to stay with him 100% of the time through the buying process, I believe I would have been much happier. He never once spoke to me as if I didn't understand him, and he didn't talk to me like I was stupid. Pain Free car buying

This is the second truck I have purchased through George. The first one I never even set foot in the dealership, he brought me a couple trucks and once I chose what I liked he brought me all the paperwork and I filled it out at my office and he handled the rest. The one i bought this time I went and visited George at Pete Moore, I took the the truck for an hour test drive came back and was out the door with my new truck in an hour and 45 minutes. Top Notch Experience

I moved out into the country when I retired and I needed a truck. Unfortunately, my car died before I could even look at one. I went to Pete Moore Chevrolet and met Phil Marshall and Alan Ledbetter. Alan took the time to understand what I thought wanted. He took me around the lot and we looked at a truck or two. Every time we looked Alan would listen to what I liked about the vehicle and what I didn't. After just a few looks, and a ton of questions from Alan, Alan suddenly got real excited sped me off to "The Truck". As he drove me up to "The Truck" he said with great enthusiasm,"This is it". One of the best vehicle purchasing experiences ever!

I contacted several dealers relative to purchasing a conversion van and Pete Moore was one of the first two that responded promptly. They emailed thumbnail pictorials of (3) vehicles with my specs. It was like window shopping with about (80) photos of every angle outside and in displaying every feature. I went to Pete Moore, picked the color I liked and test drove it. We agreed to a price that i believe was fair for both parties. They seemed honest and forthcoming, answering all my questions. Importantly, there were no hidden surprises that happen with other dealers. Chad was gracious and like made this purchase a pleasant one!

Outstanding!!

We went to the dealership to look at a Dodge Charger that was out front and when we got close to the vehicle it wasn't the one I wanted. So we drove around the lot looking for another charger and none of the salesman bothered us, which was a plus, until we asked them about the charger. David Laughlin showed us another charger but it wasn't what we wanted. So we saw a 5 Series BMW that was nice but not what we wanted. Then low and behold they had a 7 series BMW right behind it and we test drove that and it was an amazing car for a super low price! David didn't push us into buying it or anything. He listened to what we wanted and how much we could afford and he made it happen. David was very helpful and understanding and made us feel very comfortable during the purchase of the vehicle. I owned a new vehicle for a month, shortly after it was totaled in an auto accident. Finding a vehicle with my specific desires was tiresome. All other Local dealers didn't seem to know about their inventory, and didn't seem to care. However, Charlie at Pete moore Chevy was the best experience I've ever had at a dealership. Taking the stress out of vehicle shopping.

I was searching all inventory of the dealerships in my area and found the car that would make my wife happy at Pete Moore Chevrolet in Pensacola, FL. My daughter and son have also purchased their vehicles there and it was a great recommendation. We drove in on a Saturday and met with Chad. He was very pleasant (not the typical high pressure attack we have all come to expect with shopping for vehicles) and treated us as if we were all old friends just looking at cars together. We didn't have financing setup through our bank until Monday. So, he let us put the car on hold, to keep anyone else from purchasing it, with the small amount of $100 because my wife fell in love with the car immediately. Ok I have a unique review. I have now purchased vehicles from both Chevrolet dealers in Pensacola - Sansing and now Moore. The differences are striking. Pete Moore Chevrolet, no pressure, answers to every query in a direct manner, excellent pricing, no deception on financing, car features, price. From online staff to on-site staff, all knowledgeable and helpful. I left with vehicle of my choice feeling good. I cannot say any of these statements about Sansing Chevrolet. I would recommend Pete Moore Chevrolet with no reservations. I would never do the same for other dealer.

Used car buying

Came in for a used car. Staff was very friendly and attentive. All problems were adresses before purchase. Any issues that might have affected purchase were also laid out before even looking at the car. The staff that I worked with was very nice and even introduced me to other staff members. Did not spend all day in dealership maybe a couple hours at most.

Best New Car Purchasing Experience

I am 66 years old and have purchased many a new car - 99% all BAD experiences. However, this experience is by far the BEST experience I have EVER had!! Chad Karahalios is the bomb!

Chad Karahalios was amazing! My husband is overseas right now and so we were messaging back and forth to Afghanistan talking to my hubby about trucks. We vaguely knew what we were looking for. Chad spent all day with me showing me everything I wanted to see and everything my husband wanted me to see. Sending messages back and forth overseas takes a long time and I never once felt rushed or like it was bothering him. He has the patients of a saint!We decided on a truck and then he was just as patient while we took care of financing. That was just as difficult because I was using a power of attorney. New factory order 2016 Corvette

Had we walked in off the street and asked Pete Moore Chevrolet to find us an already built 2016 Laguna Blue Corvette with a gray interior, which ultimately is what we ended up with, I would have given them five stars. Our salesman Dickie Heckler was friendly, fast and efficient in this scenario. But the fact is, we came in to place an order for a brand new, custom built corvette from the factory.We spent many hours researching all the Corvette options and then waited seven long weeks after placing the order only to find out that it did not get processed.Our salesman Dickie Heckler was the only person at Pete Moore who apologized and was sorry our new corvette order did not go through. Not the person responsible for placing and tracking factory orders, not the sales manager, only Dickie and I believe he was truly felt bad our order was mishandled.Dickie Heckler did offer to search for an already built, 2016 Corvette Stingray Z51, Laguna Blue / Gray Interior with all the options we had originally ordered. He did find and we decided to settle for a 2016 Corvette Stingray Z51, Laguna Blue / Gray Interior but minus several of the original options that we wanted.We spent many hours researching all the various Corvette options and running the build configurator to get a customized corvette to our specifications but ended up with something less.Update 09/10/2016:Working with our salesman Dickie Heckler, we were able to get several of the missing options at dealer cost. Easiest car buying experience ever!

Jeff Lee listened to what I wanted and was able to provide me with a new Equinox LTZ with all of the features I asked for at what I feel is a reasonable price. As a woman purchasing a vehicle on my own, I appreciated the effort Jeff put in to help me feel comfortable both in purchasing the car, and in driving off the lot, by making sure I knew how to use most of the car's technical features without having to dig through the owner's manual.

$39.95 oil change???

I was quoted $39.95 for a oil change on my 2014 Silverado by the service writer. When I went to pay my bill was $59. Explanation was that my truck held 8 quarts of oil. The explanation seems okay, but why quote me a price if you know it's significantly low. Talked with SM, he couldn't have cared less that his employee was either completely incompetent or just trying to gouge the customer..I expect better treatment from a dealer that I have purchased 3 trucks from in the last 6 yrs...Guess it's time to look for a new dealership.

From the second we stepped on the lot these guys treated us like family. The process always focused on our complete satisfaction in buying the right truck at the right price. We were taken on a tour of the facility and introduced to the key players who would eventually service our vehicle down the road. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Mr. Ledbetter is the best car salesman that I have ever met. Unlike other salesmen in Pensacola, Mr.Ledbetter did not rush nor pressure me into making any rash decisions on any cars. Great car buying experience

I had an excellent experience. This was the first new vehicle I have ever bought and not only was the entire staff knowledgeable but they were quick in everything from quoting my trade ins to getting me financed (this was last minute and rates and terms were exactly what I wanted). Purchase of New Truck

We had a pleasant experience purchasing a new truck ( 2016 Chevy Silvarado) from sales person, Keith Carson at Pete Moore Chevy. Everyone was more than nice to us, and very considerate of my husband who has difficulty walking. Keith was knowledgeable and customer oriented throughout the entire purchase experience.

Professional Service in every respect.

My wife and I live in Orange Park, FL, I drive a conversion van which was totaled in an auto accident. We could not find anything in the Jacksonville area that met our needs. My wife expanded her search and located on the web Peter Moore Auto at 103 New Warrington Rd. Zip 32056. They had a very good selection so we called made an appointment. We reserved one that we were interested in and was still for sale before left to ensure that we did not make a 6 hour trip and the vehicle would have been sold. We were met by an experienced, pleasant salesman, Allan Ledbetter, who had everything prepared as we drove into the lot. We immediately were impressed by genuine politeness and sheer knowledge of what our need was. We took test drive in a 2015 Chevy Explorer Conversion Van in absolutely immaculate condition. Allan was extremely interested in all the we were looking for, answered all our questions or should say all my wife's questions. Allan's natural friendly demeanor put us at ease and we felt we were dealing with a very professional and honest dealership. Allan was extremely helpful in determining a final price and we closed the deal in less than 2 hours. We drove our new van back to Orange Park with entire 12 hour day being a wonderful experience. One note that I feel is worth mentioning, as Allan finished his complete explanation of how everything worked and got ready to say goodbye he grab my hand and my wife's hand and with humility and sincerity said quietly short prayer asking our Lord to protect us on our journey home. We knew then without a doubt we had made the right choice. A wonderful experience. My personal mechanic here in the Jacksonville area looked over the vehicle from stem to stern, took it on test drive and said it was an amazing vehicle, you did extremely well.If I have a need in the future for another vehicle, in spite of the six hour trip one way, I am calling Anthony Ramsey and asking for Allan Ledbetter. great srervice until the end...

took my car in for an oil change. was very quickly taken care of. after about an hour or so, someone brought me the receipts for the work done, which aside from the oil change was a tire rotation. Asked if I wangted it cleaned, I said yes. so I was ready to wait a while.. but after having the papers in my hand, I did not see my car for another 40 minutes or so.. I stepped out of the waiting room to find out wher it was and it turned out that someone, instead of driving it by the waiting room, had gone to put it in the parking lot.. I could have been waiting for a long time if I hadn't asked where it was!//
