From the time I bought my Golf in 2002 from O'Steen Volkswagen to last week when I traded it in for a new Tiguan, I have enjoyed exceptional service. It is a dealership that operates like a family among its employees as well as its customers. Everyone is friendly, and helpful. It was hard to let go of my faithful little Golf, but the process was made easier having the support and encouragement of 'friends' in different departments I have made over the past fourteen years. My sales consultant, Marc Trice, was extremely supportive, knowledgeable, patient, and a pleasure to work with. He actually made the experience of leasing a new car enjoyable! I love my new car, and I love knowing that I can depend on the service and support of the O'Steen VoIkswagen dealership.

My last two cars have been Range Rovers. After driving my last Rover for eight years I was in the market for a new one. A friend suggested I look at the Volkswagen SUV, I saw several on the road and was not impressed, they were too small especially coming from a Rover fanatic. Then I noticed the Touareg, I figured I owed it to myself (and my friend) to stop by and take a look. I read great reviews about Osteen Volkswagen so I drove to the dealership. I was greeted by Chris Phillips who was polite, knowledgeable and NO PRESSURE. I told him upfront I was not going to buy a Volkswagen but I promised a friend I would look at the Touareg before buying a new Rover. Chris said no problem, but you owe it to yourself and your friend to take a drive. I was already impressed at the size of the car so no harm taking a little test drive. Oh my gosh!!!! I could not believe how solid/roomy/luxurious it was (is). Also, so easy to figure out the "technology". It drove (drives) so smoothly, miles per gallon twice what my rover was plus the salesman was a pro, could really read me and didn't push me to do anything, I could hardly stand it I wanted ths car!!! Plus, it was about $30,000 less than the new Rover I wanted. Chris and Chip patiently walked me through everything, I've never been so sure about buying a car in my life. The most honest, friendly people and easiest transaction ever. I can't wait to drive it every day!! Regardless of what car you "think you know what you want" go see Chris Phillips at O'steen Volkswagen he is GREAT to work with.

Horrible Experience!!!

I have had the WORST experience with the car I bought from O ' Steen Volkswagen. I bought a certified 08' Beetle. I have owned the car for a few years now and it has been nothing but problem after problem. I have had 3 window regulators go out. They are about $500.00 a pop. I have had the button that lowers the convertible top pop off and fall down in the hole beneath it. My headlights have gone out. The air doesn't work, the battery cables are corroded. To top it all off now the back of my car is leaking every time it rains. Please rethink buying a volkswagen.

Fair buying experience

I recently bought a rather expensive used car from this dealership, the sales person and finance manager is fair and the deal that I got was fair to good. My only reservation and the reason that I would not recommend this dealership to a friend or buy from them again is based on my last words with the dealership. After I signed all the paper work and went into my car to drive away I noticed that the car had roughly 1/4 of a tank of gas, so I went inside and asked if I would be able to get it filled thinking they might have forgot (not a big deal). I was told "That is our all in price, I don't have anything left. We make sure you have enough to drive away, but will not fill up the tank". This seems a bit petty and left a sour taste in my mouth, seems like the deal is done and the paper work is done, so they did not need to earn my business again. I was happy with the car, but drove away a little dejected.

NEW PASSAT. BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!

I live in Tampa, FL and have been unsuccessfully shopping for a VW Passat for a while, until I came across Chip O'Steen at O'Steen VW in Jacksonville. Within an hour of a phone conversation, Chip had located the exact Passat that I wanted and seamlessly made a deal happen!. It was by far the smoothest any car purchase has every gone foe me. I was skeptical that this deal was too good to be true........but I was wrong. I highly recommend OSteen VW to anyone looking for a new vehicle!

Best car buying experience

I have been in the car business for 16 years and have to admit that I absolutely hate buying a car. Even when you inform a dealership that you have been in the business they try to pull out all the tricks. This was NOT the experience that I had at O'steen. This was the most pleasurable experience I have ever had buying a vehicle and I owe it all to the professionalism of our salesperson Ed, General Sales Manager Mike and our Finance manager York. I teach sales and finance for a living and this was the best experience ever. We purchased 2 vehicles and from the product presentation to the negotiation to the paperwork everything was easy, professional and painless. Thank you to the team at O'steen for making this the best car buying experience.

I had the best experience buying my VW with Brian Blanchard!! I liked how he made me feel comfortable throughout the whole buying process. LOVE my new Passat TDI from O'Steens!!

I had a great experience at O'Steen's. I came in looking for a hybrid, but fell in love with the Passat. My sales rep, Nando, educated me about the new deisel engines and I was hooked! I did shop around the other VW dealers and looked online, but nothing could even come close to the price Nando (like "Fernando") was able to get me. He was very professional and genuine and I never felt hassled or haggled. The finance department was also great ot work with. They had great rates and gave me great value for my trade-in. I highly recommend seeing Nando at O'Steens!!!

looking for my new car and drove golf tdi, sportwagon tdi at other vw dealer across the bridge, over there all I got was pressure,,, whats your credit rating. how much can you pay monthly & the classic what can we do to put you in this car today. all with no regard as to what I was looking for. My wife knew more about the cars than salesman did... sent in request for internet price from o'steen and in less than 1 hour had offer to set up extended test drive and initial offer to sell at under invoice. this after the bozos across the river had tried to explain how the MSRP did not include their expensive & unwanted paint protection and nitrogen in the tires for and additional $1000 over MSRP. decided on the car I wanted and was told they had located and secured it for me in less than 1 day. anticipate closing deal on Friday and will never buy VW anywhere else. Went to dealer for ride issue on brand new 2012 VW Golf...

Went to dealer for ride issue on brand new 2012 VW Golf TDI, The service MGR rode in the car he said he felt the problem. After working on on this issue 4 times they come to the conclusion that it was "normal" for a manual shift diesel to shimmy at certain speeds. Also Had to take my car to independent tire dealer to have my Tires rebalanced each of the four times that they worked on it. After the first oil change I found my car with an oil puddle in the pan that covers the bottom of the engine, The nut for the filter was rounded off, And I was told that NOBODY cleans the dirt from around or under the filler cap.It also took three times of taking my car to this dealer to get a simple washer nozzel service bulletin repaired. Funny that that in my 30 years of driving manual diesels I've never noticed this, Or in the other two 2012 Golf TDI's that I Have driven. I must really be that idiot after all.
