Worst new car buying experience in over 40 years of buying cars. Poor followup, poor coordination, and poor communication from the salesman thru the Gen Mgr.I personally called the General manager earl Hudson 3 times to speak with him about our experience.I have yet to hear back from him, I guess he does not like talking to his customers!!Not a surprise the rest of the organization acts the way it does.I highly recommend you try another dealership!

Twice I have went to this dealership to buy a used truck! Once in 2015 to buy a 2014 ram 2500 online the listed price was 35500 and when I came in the door at the end they wanted to say it was 38000 they lie online ! The second time was June 15 2016 to look at 2015 Toyota Tacoma with 40000 miles on it they wants 27,333 online and after we worked in my trade and came back with paper they wanted 30,983 dollars for the vehicle not including taxes title or fees ! I said why they said they put new tires on it lol 4000 for new tires lol worst experience here I have great credit and cash to put down ! Don't believe none of there ads don't wast your time coming to this place !!

Part ordered and car repaired in one day. Courtesy driver provided me ride home & picked me up to take me back to pick up repaired car. We went to this dealership because it was so close to work. While we were there the woman we dealt with at the service desk was extremely rude. Laura was her name. We rented a car while we were waiting for our new car, had the car maybe 2 weeks and when we returned it they claimed we damaged it and would have to pay for it immediately. When I asked for proof we damaged it she refused to show us. we ended up not buying a car from them and managed to get the exact same car some where else for a lot less. I will never do service with this place again!

Friendly in beginning. Then very shady when it comes to money. We left not agreeing on buying a car and were contacted and we told them we were not buying a car there, that we already bought one somewhere else. Even though they knew that they still proceeded sending out our information to I don't know how many banks resulting in constant credit pulls. Contacted them and spoke to a manager that was extremely rude. Those people are not to be trusted!!!! I do not wish this experience on anyone!!!

I waited forever for someone to look at my car and then was told I would have to make an appointment for someone to kook at my car. I just wanted them to look at it for 2 seconds and order the part for my light then I could make an appointment to get it fixed!!

If I could retract this buying experience, I would. The purchase went great, they were extremely helpful in getting the deal done. The problems started immediately after the sale. They were advertising a free TV with every deal, when I ask them about my TV they said they did not include one. Sounds like it wasn't all that free, huh? Then on Tuesday after the purchase on Saturday I received a call from the finance company that raised some concerns. Now I will accept the blame for not reading the credit app before I signed it, but my salesman had padded my job time as well as my wife's on the app. Then it took 3 weeks to get a due bill completed. And adding fuel to the fire, not one time did they initiate a call to let me know what was going on. I would advise anyone thinking about buying a new or pre-owned vehicle not to even consider Opelika Ford!

We drove 2 hours to look at a specific truck they had and ended up buying it, it took all day to purchase th unit. normal process. after we noticed that the headlights didnt match. this truck had been wrecked and repaired ($700 Headlight) called the salesman and brought the truck back he said he would try to help us out and that no one at the dealership noticed it either. while we were there we were getting the oil changed and the service tech revved the truck so hard that smoke was coming from tail pipes. we went through the general sales manager to the service manager to the sales person. left didnt know what right was doing no communication and not a single phone call was returned. I wouldnt recommend this dealership to anyone.

I went to the dealer on a 12 Chevy Cruz that was use the person I talked to assured me that we could work on the price. So I mad the 60 mile trip there when I got there they start off nice then when we we talked about the price they said they could do nothing and that the price was set then when they did the credit check the finance manager comes out and talks about my credit in front of everyone in the lobby. At that point I just left very upset who desire that I guess they do. My bad experience at this place.

We purchased a new 2013 Ford Taurus from Berk at Opelika Ford this past weekend and our experience there was truly the BEST experience we've ever had buying a car! They went way above and beyond and we highly recommend them to everyone we know. Berk and the team made our impossible situation into a possibility (we received unexpected orders to go to Korea and needed to sell both of our current vehicles we owned that had negative equity because we can only take one vehicle). Thanks to them we not only got an amazing vehicle for an unrealistically low price, but we have saved thousands of dollars in addition now that we don't have a vehicle sitting in storage. I have been using Hometown Ford service department since 2010. The service personnel are very helpful and knowledgeable for what ever the reason for the visit. If you are waiting for the service, the waiting area has anything you need to make the visit comfortable. If you leave the vehicle, you are contacted promptly when the service is complete. They send reminders for service due to those of us who have trouble keeping up with the miles. I would highly recommend Hometown service department to anyone needing their services.

Hometown gave me the best vehicle buying experience I have EVER had! My sales rep. Mr. Reed Sanders was the nicest and most helpful guy I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. I even got to meet their General Manager who made me feel right at home and comfortable. Our sales rep was Reed Sanders he was wonderful from the start of our purchase to the last. He made it possible for us to purchase our 2013 ford f 100 we was upside down in our other vehicle and he made it possible for us to purchase the truck we really wanted and to keep our payment so we could purchase the truck we wanted. he was great. please go by and talk with Reed if you are thinking about buying another vehicle.Everyone there is so sweet . Today I visited the Home Town Ford dealership for my initial services on my 2012 Harley Davidson F150. I was greeted with warm and friendly services at the services department. They were very professional, yet very courteous. I was advised on the nature of services that would occur and how long it would take to complete the task. Started with an internet search and contacting the dealership via the website. Got a quick response from Reed Sanders and set up a time to see what they had. Ended up getting a new Ford Focus hatchback and couldn't be happier. Nice bunch of folks.

They worked for an entore week to help us out get out of two vehicles and into a Ram 1500. We knew it was a long shot, but the people at Hometown battled every day for us to make it happen... and the did!! Said that since I was Retired Military, they would fight for us as hard as i fought for them. They are a TOP notch facility and family! Thanks Reed, Virgil and Bruce!!
