amazing service experience
I don't remember the gentleman I spoke with to schedule my 60K service, but he was friendly, helpful, and NOT condescending. Upon arrival, Ryon was friendly and reviewed the services to be performed. I knew the standard 60K service would need to be slightly modified and we efficiently determined which services would be performed. Afterwards, Ryon arranged the courtesy shuttle to drop me at work.Ryon called later with an update. He was kind enough to call another KIA dealership to verify Id replaced my belts 5K miles previously; as I could only remember it had not been long. The original scheduled services were nearly finished. During the inspection, they found my brakes were nearing replacement. He explained I was not in danger of causing a more serious problem if I waited to have them replaced, but to monitor. I elected to include the front brake service as well.Ryon was courteous, respectful and HONEST without the high pressure push to add unnecessary services. The gentleman I was fortunate to have as my courtesy driver was a pleasure as well. My apologies for not having his card on hand, allowing me to properly acknowledge directly!Olathe Kia is a convenient location with a fantastic staff. Polite, Prompt, Complete Service Experience
The service manager was very helpful and polite and the person who cashiered was also very helpful and explained all the charges and repairs.
My family wanted to just drive in and look at the Kia Sedona. We knew it was between the Honda Odyssey or the Sedona. George the salesman came out and treated us like a friend and took everything that we wanted into consideration and never talked over us. I was a bit early for my appointment and they took me right in anyway (weren't extremely busy). I am having some issues with my Bluetooth commands on the steering wheel. Ryon came out and experienced the problems. They will be looking into the problem further and didn't dismiss it.

Worst Service Experience in 10 years
I bought my Kia Sportage new over 10 years ago at this dealership and it has been the best car. I've only had minor repairs and maintenance done so far. I took my car in this time for a problem I believed to be in the front end. After the first day I was told they couldn't find a problem and they were running behind. Funny, as so many service guys just standing around. I suggested leaving it another day so they could look for the problem. Nothing was done the second day either and I was told they couldn't find a problem. I was also told bring it back if it worsens, when I said it is getting worse and I was told oh really. What a disappointment as I can bet they didn't even look at the car! I then drove to another car repair place that had awesome reviews and the problem was found in less than 10 minutes! The control arm bushings were metal to metal and ball joints needed to be replaced. I was going to buy another Kia this year from this lot but not now. I will tell everyone I know not to waste their time with this dealership as you won't get a car repaired if it has a problem !

Waste of Time/Rude and Condescending Staff
I am a college student who was looking to lease a vehicle. Kia sales staff brought me in on false numbers and were rude to my father and I about our credit scores. We told them we wanted to lease and not to buy a car, and the entire time we were there they tried to sell us a car. We told them our budget and what we wanted and they said they couldn't do that price and no other dealership in Kansas City could either. Turns out Toyota, Ford, Honda, all had better pricing by nearly $50 and offered great service plans on leased vehicles, which they didn't even mention. I ended up getting a Toyota Corolla for a price $60 a month lower than Kia's offer, and $1000 less due at signing with 3 years free mantience and an education discount that was also offered at Honda and Ford (not at Kia). Don't waste your time at this dealership, they also told us that the other Kia dealerships lie about the prices they offer just to get you into thier dealership, guess they are no different! Cannot express how much better every other dealership was than this one.

I've always had good experiences every time I come in. Ryan is always most helpful, cheerful and explains everything thoroughly. I just come in for my routine oil changes. But, I did come in a month or so ago because I was told by my daughter's boyfriend that I had an exhaust leak. Ryan had the guys check it out and they couldn't find anything wrong. I was relieved to hear that and they didn't charge me anything for checking it out. So, when I was in this last Saturday for my oil change I had them check the exhaust again. Still no problem.

I would recommend Brent Lewis as your salesman he will get the very best deal for you. I walked in Saturday morning said I like this Optima that I had looked at the night before give me the mileage the history of the mechanics he complied easily I said this is the price I can afford he said it might be a tad more a tad was all it was. Still well within my price range. I bought this lovely Optima. Sales tax rolled into the loan as I didn't have any money or any money down my payment is exactly what I needed and I drove away 2 1/2 hours later. And I still got to keep my old car and keep the cash from the sale of it when I sell it. I'm still in disbelief! I am sending my children and my coworkers and parishioners to Brent at Olathe Kia

Salesperson lied about vehicle price
I went to look at a Ford Fusion advertised on craigslist and their website. When I got there I asked the price. After looking at the car for awhile, I checked on their website, the price the salesman told me was over $4000 higher than what was listed on the website. I mentioned this to the salesman and he lied to my face saying that price online was for a different vehicle already sold. I mentioned that the VIN number and the stock number were the same, he got really pissed off, said I was messing with his head. I asked him straight out if he was lying, he said I needed to leave. Nice way to treat a disabled veteran pal!

After going back and forth, Mr. Bill George, owner of Olathe Kia along with several other dealers, spoke with me and resolved the issue to my satisfaction. I ususally hate buying cars, seriously I drove a hoopty for 5 years to avoid the car buying experience, it was time though and we went to see Ernie Black. Wow what a different experience. He was patient and informative let us text drive several cars. We left with a beautiful Sportage for my husband. That night unfortunatly my poor old chevy finally bit the dust. I emailed Ernie to see if they had anything on the lot I could afford. To my surprise Ernie showed up at my job with a loaner for me to use until my next day off so I wouldnt be carless. Two days later I bought myself a brand new Soul that I am absolutely in love with. Our experience was absolutely perfect during both transactions and I will be an Olathe Kia custome for life. My only disapointment was there was no dancing hampster anywhere in my Soul (Iv looked everywhere)

Ryan, Mark and Brandon always provide great service in the service department. The other staff is always polite as well. The other day, I had requested my oil be changed along with some other things I had scheduled. They didn't catch what I had said. It was a busy morning and I had forgotten to mention the oil change along with the other things when I had called the day before. Well, they did catch that I needed a front light fixed. They did that and without charging me labor. When I caught it that they didn't change my oil. I had to make another appointment to come in for it. Due to not hearing what I had requested that morning. They did not charge me for my oil change when I came in for it. And they fixed something else without charging me anything. I did not complain or ask them to do that. They did it on their own. People make mistakes. And they were busy. So, I understood and was not upset that they had missed what I had requested additional that morning. However, because they are all about providing excellent service. They got me in quickly for the oil change and did not charge me. I can't say it enough. They provide EXCELLENT service. This our 2nd Kia we have bought from the Olathe Kia dealership. I plan to buy our 3rd car from there as well. We have been going to them for all service needs for 7 years. And I have been very happy. I have even priced around what we have done there. It is about the same as other places. Occasionally they are a bit higher. But it is worth it due to the service I am provided. And for services that take more than a few hours. They always give me a car to borrow.

spoke with a tom on Monday before last and set up an appointment for last Sunday. We arrived in town from Manhattan and the car we came to see was clean and ready for a test drive. DJ Shire was the only positive part of this whole experience! I was promised so much before I signed the papers for my Kia, and trouble started right when I got home and looked over the papers...sale price was wrong, one of the promised items they actually charged me for (or tried to), and the interest rate was not as promised. DJ made the paperwork right for me, and did everything he said he would! I proceeded to take my car back for a new fender and the tow package I was promised. After they had it for 5 days, I ended up calling them to get my car back...it only had the fender...no hitch! I was told to come and get it and ended up waiting another 50 min to " finish" cutting the extra key that was promised on day 1! I finally set up the appointment for the tow package myself, and not only was it $425 less than they had tried to charge me, but it's only going to take 1-1 1/2 hrs, and they had it for 5 days.!?? Total nightmare. Again DJ Shire is the only positive! My salesman, Cliff and the "sales manager, Will had no idea what the other was doing, and my patience was completely tested...I failed, but so did they!

I was a little disappointed. My husband and I walked in. No one greeted us for at least 10minutes. Not even a hello, someone will be with you in a second. Finally the first person to say hello was Roy. ( very friendly man) He looked at us again just standing there for a while and asked if we had been helped. We told him we saw an add that said ask for Brent. He told us he was with someone but would be with us shortly. Brent was taking forever so we just asked if he was able to help. We looked at a couple cars and start the paperwork. We wait for about 45minutes and we finally ask what's taking so long!? Roy told us they were still in the process of running the application. We waited a little longer and we heard Brent call and ask what the hold up was on the application. Whatever the lady said on the other end made Brent begin to question if my husbands social security # was real. My husband just received his social. He is new to the country. I began to get irritated because if there is a problem with the social just say that! Don't ask all these questions like we have an intention to lie. We have gotten an aprtment, he's gotten a job, and we applied at other dealerships with no problem. I then heard him go on to say I don't feel like dealing with the paperwork and to just decline the application. He didn't even address us to say what happened. After I told my husband it was time to go Roy asked if he was going to try to run it again. Brent said he could try but after that I was upset and said no thank you let's go. Brent then said maybe it's just not in our system yet.

Had our 2003 Kia Sedona towed there with bad water pump, after pressure testing myself. Service advisers told I had done the other seals, gaskets, and radiator. Refused to not do "their" checklist, whined a lot about it being their "standard" procedure. Charged $200 to replace the same seals/gaskets again, after not being authorized to do so. After that, they refused to check water pump. Ended up towing the van to their competitor, where they said that the removal of the parts that the seals I had put in before would ruin them. $16 of seals cost me $200 to get my van back not operating, in the same shape it was when towed there. We bought the van new at this dealer, it has changed hands since then. Service adviser whined at us for an hour about they had to fix it. Their competitor's quote was $150 less for the water pump replacement then they were. This dealer had always did our service, I would not take a go-kart to them now. Service Rep Ryon was not the problem Service Adviser, whiny service adviser not a choiceOwner also refused to take our calls about our experience and concerns. Contacting NFIB and BBB about their business practices.

Purchased 06 Sorento Nov. 2013 was taken to loan officer eventhough I already had my finances taken care of said they would not put it through credit report and tore up the paper. Needless to say I received 3 letters several days latter about this loan. Could neved get this loan office to explain why. Most recently I had my oil changed and by the way your service center is very friendly. I asked them to run a service report on my vehicle since it was originally bought from them I was looking to see when it had a tune-up done and also the timing belt replaced or at least looked. I was SHOCKED with the results it seems the vehicle had a new short block installed (under warranty) and the timing belt replaced I think at least twice for some other defect I was livid after reading all 27 pages. If I had been told about this when looking at the Sorento I would not have bought this autoI would probably purchased something else. This proves to me that even dealers are not honest and I will NEVER buy another car from this location. I will continue to get it serviced since I am pleased with this part of the location. You can be assured that I will not recomment this dealership to anyone.

In 2010 I leased a new car from this dealership and from the moment I signed my name, everything went bad. The dealership was deceitful, unhelpful, clearly just wanted to make the sale and didn't care at all about me. They even went as far as telling me they made a "clerical error" on the original contract and needed me to resign. I'd read the original contract front and back because I didn't trust them, so when I went back in to resign, I asked them to show me where the clerical error was. They pointed something out that seemed harmless, made sure to point out that my payments, length of the lease, etc. would all be the same. They conveniently managed to blow right past the mileage for the term of the lease. Now, I recognize that it was totally on me to have to reread the contract and make sure that everything really was the same, but I signed anyway and ended up screwing myself out of 9,000 miles on the lease over 3 years. Some clerical error.Once the lease ended, things only got worse. I called in advance of dropping the vehicle off (which I did 3 weeks prior to the lease being up) to give the dealership about 5 hours notice that I would be coming in. When I dropped the car off, they clearly had no idea what they were doing. They even told me they weren't sure what they were supposed to do. I kept asking them, "Are you sure there's not something else you need to do or that I need to sign??" I should have gotten them to sign something verifying I dropped the car off, what I dropped of with it, etc., because, what do you know, 10 days after the lease end date, I started receiving letters telling me I hadn't turned in the vehicle and that I would be penalized accordingly. I immediately made phone calls to the dealership and the finance company, and both told me that I should ignore the letter because obviously I had done everything I needed to do. So, needless to say, I was not pleased when I received another letter a few weeks later saying I hadn't responded to phone calls or letters and still hadn't turned in the car. This time I went to the dealership in person. I spoke to the general manager, who assured me everything would be resolved within 2 days, 3 at most. That was 3 WEEKS ago. It has not been resolved. I received another letter today charging me for turning in only one set of keys with the car when both the sales manager and the general manager of the dealership have made very clear to me that they are aware I turned in both sets of keys. The finance company tells me the reason I'm getting these letters and seeing these charges is because the dealership did not do things the way they were supposed to when I dropped off the car originally...more than two months ago. Can't say I'm surprised. No one over there seems in any hurry to help me at all. They all put on their sales face when they talk to me telling me it will be taken care of right away, but nothing ever happens. I call and email and show up in person and all they ever do is give me empty promises that it will be taken care of. These people don't care about helping me because they know they aren't getting a sale out of me. As soon as they made the sale, they moved on. They care only about getting the signature and then you are chopped liver. They will promise you the moon, but don't ever expect them to deliver. They are sales people through and through and in the worse sense of the word.Save yourself some serious trouble and just avoid them at all costs. You can find a much better vehicle from much nicer people across the street. I recommend Olathe Toyota. Ask for Justin. He sold me my last car and was incredibly knowledgeable. And they didn't forget about me the minute I signed on the dotted line...

Sales person was very friendly, however he knew very little about the car he sold me. He's sold me the car with one of the headlights out ($100), and on an empty tank of gas. On the way home the change oil light came on. So much for inspecting there vehicles before they sell them. I'm a soldier at Fort Riley and I do not have the luxury of free time to drive back to the dealership to have their mistakes fixed. Be wary when buying a used vehicle from this dealership. I'm sure it's different for the new ones, but a work ethic doesn't care if its new or used.

The sales guy Dominic that I was using was very nice and friendly and was about to close the deal when Will Francis Sales Manager totally ruined the deal for him. Will was very rude, spoke down to me, and was down right a complete JERK! I was giving the wrong information about the car to begin with as far as where it came from. When it was pointed out to Dominic he apologized and left the room so I would talk about what to do next. At that time Will came in all heated and started an agurment with my brother who was with me. I wasnt not informed of this until I asked to see the carfax on this car and found it myself. When trying to figure out a deal with Will he became VERY rude. The salesman i was using actually had to tell Will several times to leave us alone as I was trying to talk about if I would be getting the car or not. I was allowed to take the car home again for the night to decide if I wanted it or not and to give everyone time to cool down. After the HUGE blow out we had with Will I was still considering buying the car because I loved it so much and my sales guy was very nice. However, after thinking about it over night i decided I didnt want to have anything to do with Olathe Kia and returned the car the next day when I got off work. Dominic was not there due to being his off day so when I got there Will was there and gave him the keys and told him i would not be purchasing the car from them due to what happened the day before. Another sales guy went to go get my car during that time Will told me that I should check out Criagslist to purchase a car. I believe that was totally uncall for and dang right rude and disrespectful! My credit was good enough to buy a car at Olathe Kia but it felt like Will just wanted to get one last jab at me just like he had done the night before. I will make sure I post on every social media what happened to me and make sure I tell EVERYONE I know NOT to ever go to Olathe Kia to buy a car. Will Francis is a complete A**HOLE and should not even have a job there if he is going to speak to customers that way. I am more then happy to take my business else where!
Horrible service department
After having my vehicle serviced a week ago for transmission issues, the service department told me it was due to a loose battery cable which was causing my vehicle to not go into park properly and the key will not come out of the ignition. When we got home the same day the same issue was happening, I brought the vehicle back the NEXT DAY and Larry in the service department looked at my vehicle and scheduled an appointment for the following week, keep in mind this is now the second day I had to leave work early to deal with this issue. Upon arrival Larry tells me that his tech will now look at the vehicle to figure out which part they need and will call when it is in, I asked him "what was the purpose of setting this second appointment if you weren't going to be fixing the vehicle", at ths point Larry tells me that he is not going to be able to help me and has me leave. Come to find out they, sold me a vehicle that had been in a collision and was shown a clean carfax which was not true, if you are looking to buy a used vehicle without headaches I would STRONGLY recommend NOT going to Olathe Kia!

I purchased a Sorento January 31 and asked for the sales tax to be included in the loan. Everything went well until the sales tax didn't come in the mail. On February 22, I began inquiring about when I would receive it. After much back and forth, yesterday March 12, I find out it was not included in my loan. I asked for a manager to call me. Nobody called so today March 13 at 7:50p, I called and talked to Jay. He was already familiar with my situation (but apparently had no plans of contacting me). He tells me the tax was not included in the loan because I lived in Missouri. This was the first I had heard this. He says my sales guy and finance guy are familiar with this rule. I said that when I asked for the sales tax, they should have told me right then and there. They knew I lived in MO (it was on all of my paperwork). He basically called me a liar that the sales guy didn't tell me about this. He says everyone at the dealer know this. Because it took so long for anyone to tell me that I wasn't getting a check for the sales tax, now I am left with only a few weeks to come up with thousands of dollars to pay the sales tax. Jay said he was "sorry" but offered nothing to ease my situation. Sorry will not find me money to pay my sales tax.1. If I was told that night I would not be able to include the sakes tax, I would not have purchased the vehicle. Was that information kept from me on purpose so I would purchase the vehicle?2. Why was I not told when I first starting inquiring that the reason the tax was not included was because I live in MO if the sales guy and the finance guy knew? Why did it take from February 22 until March 12? Don't buy from this dealership unless you don't want any customer service once they sell you the car!

We went in to buy a new Soul. We had previously asked them to search for a red one for us. We knew there was one available a day before at a dealer near by. When we returned to see if they had found one the salesmen and the sales manager said the other dealership had sold it. We were bamboozled into thinking we had to get one in dune or alien. We told them we would settle for the dune color, because "It would take 3-4 weeks to get a red one."(Quote from the sales manager) On the test drive to make sure we wanted it, we called the other dealer to make sure the sales staff wasn't pulling a fast one. We then found out the red one was still available and wasn't even attempted to be pulled for us. We promptly drove back, told them the red was still available, and the salesmen had the audacity to ask "what if we got the red one for you?" We left and received an email 2 days later apologizing. If they were men they would call and tell us sorry that they lied to our faces. If you are planning on purchasing a car from them do your due diligence. It would be different if it were just the one salesmen, but it was the sales manager as well. I don't see how a place that rotten to the core maintains business.

Though not an easy deal or circumstance, Randy was polite and persistant and was able to offer other options and vehicles in an effort to place my friend in a safe, economical and affordable car. Randy worked well with other sales staff in the office and very well with the sales manager who was very helpful and professional as well. I am 50 years of age and I can only remember back to when men in this field were, again, as genuine and professional as these folks. Went in to buy a new Kia Sorento two weeks ago. Olathe Kia did not have the one I wanted so we gave Doc our information and were told we would be contacted in a couple days. A week went by with no word. I sent an e-mail to Doc and have not received a response. I am so confused why I am not receiving a response. I guess he does not want to sell a car. We were even introduced to the sales manager and I have heard nothing from the sales manager either. We had checkbook in hand and a clear titled vehicle to trade in, but we cannot get a reply back. I thought I had messed up my chances of having a pleasant experience considering upon my arrival at the dealership, I asked for "Garbanzo" and not "Joe Bonzo." :-/ I was skeptical anyway of returning here because my first visit with a previous salesperson was not very good at all; considering he tried to sell me a car with a bad water pump. In between changing jobs, moving to a new place, and dealing with taking taxi's every week to work I found it impossible to come up with the $2000 down that this inconsiderate individual asked of me. Two weeks ago on the 20th, Joe called me out of the blue and I thought it was a joke. He was a "second chance" finance person and reluctantly, I told him my situation. A couple of hours later, he called back with a car: a 2006 Kia Optima that only had 27,000 miles on it. It took everything out of me not to laugh in his face because I thought it was too good to be true. Needless to say, I drove down to Kia to check it out.I was in love! There was NOO way I could pass it up! Joe worked diligently to make sure I could get this car so I could be on my way. No more taking taxi's to work and worrying about how I was going to get from point A to point B. He genuinely cared about my situation and did not stop until every single aveune was taken. It really is a blessing that Joe called me that day. If it wasn't for him and his hard work, I would still be struggling trying to find a way to work. Thank you, Joe for all of your hard work! I stopped at the Kia Dealer (Olathe) on the HOTTEST DAY ever (104).Now I can look back smile and say it was to meet Joe Bonzo and to drive away with my New KIA RIO. :)Joe Bonzo was a very helpful salesperson, friendly but not pushy. Great experience, he took the time to understand my financial position and helped me to find a financing solution. I received only one key to my new car and talked to Joe how important it is to have a second key in case of an Emergency. Now Joe is in the works of getting me an extra key at no cost. We went to Olathe to look around and I was looking for a Chevy but the price was more than I could afford. I came up on the Kia dealership and decided to try. The minute I arrived I was treated as if I had all the money in the world. It was a great feeling and I drove off with our 2nd car the very same day. Good experience buying the car,friendly sales team who want your business. Very poor after sales service from parts and service. For this reason, would not buy here again. Parts did not have the part I wanted and made no attempt to get it for me or even offered. Later, service manager spoke to me and was supposed to call me back by a certain date to arrange me bringing my car in and never did. Took it to another Kia dealer elsewhere, as they said they would do all they can to help me, and they did. If I was a sales person here, I would ask my parts and service people a few questions!It's easy to get a new customer, but a damn sight harder to keep them! Once you lose them, they are gone forever, like me!

I live VERY far away so had to make arrangements just to test drive. Price was right, staff was great, enjoyed working with John. The car was delivered to me in the middle of Missouri at no charge, so I can't say enough about that type of service. The icing on the cake is that this is a GREAT car, luxurious and unbeatable at the price compared to it's competitors. I'm very satisfied.

First let me say, my family walked into the dealership almost 30 minutes after the door said they were closed. Even though Brent was finishing up with another customer, he was more than happy to help us out. We had already left another dealership, but knew we wanted to buy a KIA Soul. Gave him the stock number off the car, and we were out of there with our new car in no time. Brent and the finance gentleman (sorry I dont remember your name) worked as a well oiled machine and handed us the keys in record time. Both were extremely knowledgeable and helpful to no end. Even though we were there after hours, these two gentlemen took their time and answered any all questions we had with the utmost professionalism. Wow, where to begin. First off there is no pressure at Olathe Kia. We came in just to look at the Soul, and ended up buying the next day. Dean is great, he knew the car and all features and never once left us hanging for an answer to a question. He took us through the whole process step by step and had the patience of a saint. Most of the time buying a car is painful with the salesman asking for phone numbers, constant hounding, etc. I must admit that I have been known to give fake phone numbers in the past just to eliminate all the BS with dealing with salesmen, but after meeting Dean I would have given it right off as I knew we would be buying there.Bottom line is that Dean Brutto and Olathe KIA are top notch and they will be recommended to friends and family on the future.

Ryon has been nothing less than a great person to work with. We bought our Sedona in 2006, and this is the only place that we will let work on it. Olathe Kia does not try to sell you what you don't need, and they still honor the original $9 oil change we made.

In all honesty, I hate car buying. I typically review cars online and then narrow down the choices. If anyone had said, "How about a Kia?" a couple of years ago, I would have laughed- and my wife has had a troublefree Kia ownership for 6 years now! For the Optima, I compared it side by side against the V6 Toyota Camry- there was no comparison. Olathe Kia (Brent the salesman) made the buying process very quick and effecient. The negotiation took all of 20 minutes when it came down to it. I had a business trip to Dallas, and took the buy order with me. I shopped ALL of Dallas' Kia dealers and NONE were able to match the price I had already for the same car. There is quite a bit of demand for Kia's right now, but Olathe Kia delivered the car when promised and followed through on all obligations. If you haven't looked at Kia's- it's time. When doing so, look at Olathe Kia. The facilities are a bit dated, but that only helps you in getting the best deal.

We previously owned a Kia sportage so we knew we wanted to go back to Kia. Although we had never been to Olathe Kia my husband works in Olathe and suggested we start there.When we arrived someone came directly outside and asked if we wanted to by new or used, my husband said "used", the gentleman went directly in and came back out with Joe Bonzo. Not only did he acknowledge my spouse and myself but we had our 2 grandsons he acknowledged them as well. He was not pushy at at all, he answered all are questions promptly and confidently which made us very comfortable. When my husband decided he wanted to test drive a 2003 Impala, we were given the keys and let go on a test drive as if we were family and had been shopping there for years. We decided we'd like to purchase the vehicle, the first numbers they came bach with my husband would not even consider, Joe says "don't give up on me let me go back and see what I can do". Our experience at olathe kia can be described in many off color words. First, the staff is very misleading, deceitful, and inferior(I have more). We were told many untruthful things about the car we were to be getting stemming from a non existent rebate, false pricing and inaccurate description over the phone, and a lack of mentioned options the vehicle was supposed to have. I am not at all pleased with the subpar service of the aforementioned people at the dealer. We purchased a soul+ and were told that it had cruise, tweaker speaker, and a fuel saving feature that stops the engine if it has idled too long. Needless to say, these options were non-exestent on our vehicle even though we were told they were. After contacting the dealer the next day to inquire about these falsehoods we were told and I quote to RETURN THE VEHICLE FOR A FULL REFUND. What is wrong with this picture? We were lied to, inconvenienced, and let down, and the solution to this is to return the vehicle??? I have much more to say to, and about this dealership but can't without being tactful, and respectful. I wish they had the same mentality. We were persuaded over the phone with many attractive yet false claims about the vehicle and the dealer. Can you say "bait and switch"? Every stereotype there is about car sales industry has came true after our experience at this dealer. We will be returning the vehicle this evening for a full refund as we were told. I hope they hold true on that claim. Olathe kia is in my book is, well I shouldn't. No thanks for wasting our time, I hope I can get our insurance premium refunded in full too. Very inconvenient.

Excellent customer service , they wanted to 'deal.' Other Hyundai and Kia dealers in the Gtr KC area were hopeless compared to this crew. It would be difficult to suggest how they could improve, maybe offer me options such as mudflaps, remote starter etc, but otherwise perfect. The main reason I went there was because within 30 mins of e-mailing them my details including part-ex, I received a personal reply with suggestions (and this was on a Sunday), and photos and details of their stock. I was then looked after by Deanna Archuleta who helped me with my inquiry and arranged to come in to the dealership. She is the main reason I dealt with this agency, as once I got there, it was plain sailing with Darrell Augustine the sales person, and Tony Wright in finance. In addition, this dealership has a sense of humor! Great! Deanna even stayed late past her finishing time to welcome my wife and I personally. There were numerous Hyundai and Kia dealers a lot closer to our home but we went to Olathe Kia for their customer service and quick response skills, I suggest you do the same!

I can not say enough on how pleased I was with my visit and phone interactions with Dean!!!! I had been at a competetors lot on Saturday the 18th. I was, to put it mildly NOT happy with their customer service and prices. When I was leaving their lot, I called and talked to the sales manager "Chuck" at Olathe Kia. Who was extremely nice and quoted me prices for what I wanted. These prices were THOUSANDS less than what the competetor had. So I was sold! He put me in touch with Dean and there was the pot of gold at the end of my rainbow! I do not live in Olathe, so I could not easily run over to the lot, so Dean kept in touch with me daily until I was able to make it in. You have to understand. My husband and I do NOT buy new vehicles nor do we ever finance anything. My husband has had the same truck for 17 years that he paid cash for and I have had the same suburban for 10 that I also paid cash for. It wasnt until recently that I decided that I no longer had a need for the large suburban for my day to day drivings and wanted a small car. Fell in love with the Kia Soul. Dean, Chuck and Tony were able to give us exactly what we wanted!! Dean was a HUGE pleasure to work with. So funny and nice and made me want to buy every car on the lot from him! We were approved for the .9% financing so we actually, for the first time ever, decided to finance a vehicle. As you can imagine, we are frugal people and had a lot of questions. Tony and Dean could not have been more patient with us while we asked questions to understand the financing down to the penny. Yes we were only talking about $203 in finance charges, but we had so many questions on that $203. I know that most people would care less about $203 but for us, it was important to atleast understand where each dime was going. Tony and Dean happily sat with us and answered everything we asked with out fail. It was refreshing to have a dealer be so patient. I normally hate going into dealerships because I feel pressured and rushed. I never had that feeling at Olathe Kia. I will tell everyone I know to get to Olathe Kia if they are ever in the market for a new car. All of my dealer fears were put to rest. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! I emailed another Kia dealership asking if they had an exact model of car with certain option on the lot or if they could get one. It took 2 days to get this answer "We have many options, you will need to come in and look."So I went to Olathe Kia website, ended up chatting with Joel and he looked on the lot and checked for what was coming on the next delivery. He then called me an hour later with several options and then said, "I can track down and get whatever you want." Much better customer service than the other Kia dealership.I met Darrell when I came in for a test drive, he was great. He gave me so much information on both models that I was looking at and really helped me chose the one for me.Tony worked with me on all the financial stuff to finance my car. He even called the bank and got a lower rate than what was offered to me. I will definitely send my friends and family to them.

I felt he was honest with me and directed his employees to do the right thing for me. Heidi and Dean were wonderful to work with and very helpful.I would recommend that the dealership address the customer service from the finance side of the operation. The finance office was unprofessional, goofy and made me feel uncomfortable. I am still not sure that all the t's were crossed and i's dotted. From our initial internet conversation with DeAnna we knew we had found the right dealership to purchase our next car from. We began our new car search many months before we were going to be ready to purchase and both DeAnna and Heidi were always available to answer any and all of our questions. We felt like part of the Olathe KIA family before we even set foot in the showroom. Once we arrived at the dealership we were greeted by our "salesman extraordinaire" Vic Brutto and he took care of us from the time we stepped foot on the lot until we drove off in our new Optima. We couldn't have asked for a better sales rep. Again, we were treated like family and it was a very pleasant buying experience. Brent Lewis helped us through the financial piece of the purchase and made it totally stress free. He worked with the lenders to find us the best deal possible and we couldn't be happier. He then took the time to explain all the paperwork and made sure that we were 100% comfortable with what we were signing before we were asked to autograph a single form. Before we drove off the lot we were introduced to the service manager and his team and given information regarding the recommended services, told how to schedule service needs, and given the opportunity to ask any questions we might have about the service dept. From start to finish we were treated like part of the family. This was by far the best car buying experience we've had. I just want to say that the reason I purchased another KIA from you is the Service I get from the guys in the Service Department. You can buy a car anywhere, but Service is my #1 consern with any dealership as without a GREAT SERVICE DEPARTMENT, the DEALERSHIP really doesn't matter much. My only disappointment was the price of my SUV as I gave you two cars paid off in full and yet I had to pay so much for mine. I should not have paid more than $5,000.00 as I know you made alot from selling those two KIA's. As much busiess and I and my husband have given you in the past 4 years, I felt I was taken advantage of and I'm sorry, I also found out you don't put on the remote starters and I feel the one I got was very cheap as far as the remote key starter and I know I was told to pick out one that was over $500.00 on the form and I doubt if you paid $150.00 for it. I know someone who puts them on everday and they are not that expensive, so I know why you were willing to do it for "free". I more than paid for it, I'm sure. I had my mind set on where I wanted to go and how much I wanted my payment to be. I won't mention the dealership, but it was fortunate for me that they could not meet my goals. My first contact with Olathe KIA was with Deanne after I made an inquiry about the Optima on the internet. She was extremely friendly and waited patiently for me to get back to her for a test drive. Upon entering the door of the dealership, I was greeted warmly by Deanne and introduced to Rich Rogers who proceeded to take me, along with my sister-in-law from Juneau, AK, for a test drive or, I should say, drives. The first car I drove, an LX, was sold while we were out driving. From this car, we moved up to the SX. Rich even let me drive the SX-Turbo that I had no intention on buying! After the test drives, I decided I really liked the Turbo. Matter of fact, I have never been excited about a car like I was this one! The tight handling made me feel like I was driving a BMW! Rich complimented me on my 831 credit score and proceeded to make me a deal I could not refuse. He bought me a bottle of water and waited patiently while my sister-in-law and I discussed the transaction. All the while, Rich was cheerful and fun! After agreeing to the terms, I was escorted to Tony Wright, the finance director, where he worked to get the best credit rate available for me while keeping my payments to a point I agreed upon. He was definitely "Mr. Right" as he made the paper work an almost entertaining experience. I drove the car home as my trade in was not with me. The next day, I took in my 04 Taurus, and met the final employee, Heidi Kerbel, who spent over an hour trying to educate me on the many features of my new Optima! There were three of us older women for her to contend with!! We shared many laughs as her expertise was surely much higher than our technological ability, but she ensured me that I would learn if worked on one section at a time! She set my bluetooth, some of my radio stations, as well as went over every possible thing I saw on my dash. All of these employees made buying a car an enjoyable experience rather than a high pressured disaster! The final action that went "above and beyond" was when I told Rich that my CD player in the Taurus would not eject my 6 favorite CD's. He worked on getting them out all the time Heidi was working on my education, but could not get them ejected. Before I left he informed me that he was taking my car to a stereo place in Overland Park that said they would try to get them out. I left in my new, beautiful Optima, and within an hour he left a message that my CD's were safe and could be picked up. So this is my "car story" that made me smile as I even tried to take Rich's pen that I really liked so he opened a new box and gave me one!
