It all started with a request for information through the ODonnell website. Right away Shayne Wilson replied with the information needed and he was able to keep replying to other questions I had. When it was time to purchase, there was no question; I was hoping that Mr. Wilson would be available to assist me. There were no hassles test driving any car I wanted. All of my additional questions were answered. Shayne was very professional and friendly. He even set up my phone to the Bluetooth program before I departed. The finance department was also very helpful and delightful. Not something I would normally say about financing a vehicle. ?

I recently bought a 2017 Honda Accord EXL V6 from O'Donnell Honda. I owner 3 other Honda cars because of their reliability. Two of my other Hondas were purchased from O'Donnell and from the same sales person, Jerry Sommerville.I actually went to look at a used Honda which they no longer had. I had shopped for a new Honda as well so I had a good idea of prices. Jerry was very helpful and pleasant to deal with as we discussed a price for a new car. I gave him the price I had to have to buy a car, he match that price and I bought the car on the spot. It was helpful that I had done my homework upfront so the negotiation was merely 15 minutes.When I brought my wife back to pick up the car, Jerry was very helpful and walked us through the features.I live in Rockville but I find O'Donnell very helpful and its a nice drive to Ellicott City. I do have two of my Honda's services at O'Donnell as their service prices are fair and the service department staff are very nice.As far as Honda cars, I have a 1998 Civic (125K), 2004 Odyssey (180K), 2010 Accord (95K) and now the 2017 Accord. The new accord had a number of features that I did not expect. My wife is extremely happy with her new car and the fabulous new features. Thanks to the O'Donnell sales and Service staff.

This is the sixth Honda I have purchased from O'Donnell. I have always had great customer service from the sales department. However, fundamentally it is the service department that is always bringing me back. Outstanding! The service advisors are excellent and trustworthy. It is always a pleasure to bring my car in to the service department.

I was upfront initially that I was in the process of shopping and price comparing, and Alex was very respectful of that. We talked numbers, I took a test drive, and away I went. That was a Tuesday. I spent a busy week hoping from dealer to dealer with some less-than-pleasant experiences. Friday I went back to see Alex. There were no games, and no changes in what we had discussed earlier in the week. I signed some paperwork, left my down payment, and came back the next day to pick up my car (it was in the other lot & I preferred not to wait 2 hours).

This is the third car I've bought at O'Donnell and every time I am reminded of just how good they are.My salesman, Terry Askin helped me every step of the way from the moment I walked in the door to the moment I drove away in my new car. Rajeev in the finance department did an incredible job walking me through the loan and the paperwork. I actually understood what I was signing and why. Patient, thorough, knowledgable, and friendly are just some of the adjectives I would use to describe the good folks at O'Donnell. And not a hint of pressure from any one. We brought our Honda in for repairs. The industry standard is 1.5 hours to do the work. They charged us for 2.5 hours. When we asked for a price reduction to the 1.5 hours - we are quite willing to pay the dealer's hourly rate for the honest hours actually worked by the mechanic - the Service Manager told us he had lots of other customers and didn't need our business, and didn't care if we were unhappy customers. This is disrespectful to the customer. We gave him the opportunity to earn our respect as a fair Honda dealer, and would have continued sending our business his way for repairs and a new car purchase in the next few years (we think highly of Honda cars), but he declined the chance to do the right thing, choosing instead to take the money and run. We feel overcharged and disrespected. We will not bring any future business to O'Donnell Honda, and we strongly recommend against buying cars or bringing repair jobs to them. There are plenty of other Honda dealers, and lots of other mechanics who can do the repair job just as well or better, and less expensively.

We were moving from overseas, so I started my search on the internet. Another Honda dealer worked with me for a while via e-mail, then passed me off to someone else at that dealership who said I needed to come in (not likely while still living in Europe), and the deal died. So I started searching again and found Alex Vindogradsky here who made the process quick and painless. My car was waiting for me the day after we stepped off the plane and I drove off happy. Can't thank him enough for making this part of our transition smooth and easy.

We purchased a 2016 CRV from ODonnell Honda after looking at several other local dealerships. We found there a relaxed, no pressure atmosphere staffed by very friendly and knowledgeable folks. They have a large selection of models and colors in the vehicle we wanted in stock, which made really helped our decision making process. We purchased through the AAA discount program, and were offered a very good price according to True-Car information. Our salesman, Terry Askin, took good care of us and answered all of our many questions. Working with their finance manager, Rajeev, to conclude the transaction was also comfortable, without the "add on" sales pitch we faced with previous purchases at other dealerships . At the end, we were impressed with this very pleasant buying experience.

Initially, I worked with Mark Sweeny who was very nice. All negotiating, all financing done over the telephone. Once the deal was set to be signed, Mark turned into a "vapor trail". I stopped by the dealership and met Ken to sign my paperwork. Ken told me that I wasn't his customer, so he couldn't do much for me.JT and the GM Brian were absolutely great to deal with and probably would not have bought the car if not for them, I suggest you do shop here but avoid Ken and especially Mark Sweeny unless you want a ton of headaches. Neither can provide even basic custome service, follow directions or requests, nor can Mark manage to return phone calls.

After having search many dealers for a 2016 Civic, this was by far the WORST dealer to deal with. The salesman was very impatient and not willing to work with me in the car buying process. He complained the whole time telling me that he wouldn't receive commission because his boss had approved a price below that of which the salesman would receive commission. After that, he didn't want to deal with me. He even got up and told me that I WAS WASTING HIS TIME. Needless to say, I left and did NOT purchase a car from them. Rather, I went to Jim Coleman Honda and had a great experience and bought my car there.

We went through USAA and used military discount to get a good price, honored a coupon from online, and didn't charge for the wheel locks already on it, plus they threw in a few accessories, for a new Honda. The salesmen were both very professional, had the car cleaned and gassed in a reasonable time. The only problem was that it took way too long to sit down with the financial man since he was processing another sale for a while. I know sales come randomly, and they certainly won't send me away to schedule for another time. I don't know a solution, except have some really great snacks and drinks and a TV or movie going. That would have made it much better. Do consider it. You might be amazed at a ratings boost and happy customer referrals, for so very little money for snacks. Have toys too in case of a family. Nintendos, etc. all can be pretty cheap.

Just bought a used truck through this dealership and from start to finish it was FANTASTIC! Communicated via email to set up the appointment/review the Carfax/decide what truck we wanted to look at. Response time was superb! Arrived at 4:30pm on a Saturday and drove out of the lot just shy of 6pm, new truck in hand. Done deal in less than 1.5 hours. That's the way to do it people! Delighted to recommend Bryan Thompson and Joe Collins! They're the best!

I purchased my 2003 Honda Accord from O'DOnnell and just last weekend a 2016 Civic EX. They are the absolute best. They will actually give you a competitive price from the start. Others would not. And even after pitting 7 dealerships against one another and using 3 different online tools, site visits and phone calls, O'Donnell was STILL cheaper. Also,my sales person (Alex - hopefully i can use names here) knew more about the car then ANY other sales-person i dealt with at other dealerships. Still my best experience ever. There was one other Honda dealer and one Subaru dealer that were also good and deserve mentioning through this process - Criswell and Frederick Motor Cars.

Rude and shady dealer... beware what you are getting into. Only go here if you want to pay more. You get these attractive internet quotes from someone who is hardly ever there or answers the phone, then when you go into the dealership they don't honor the quote or get you with other fees and add-ons. They lie to you on the quote saying they will beat any dealer offer by $500, which they NEVER honor. Even when they ask you to send them the other dealers quote. They lie via email and say anything just to get you in the door. Then they start playing sleazy games and saying how much they are 'losing' on the deal and 'selling below cost' to you. If you don't give in, they start becoming rude and arrogant and tell you to leave and go elsewhere. Waste of time dealership. They only play nice with you if they can swindle you into paying higher price for the car. I always find other dealers in MD much better then these guys. Even if you call and complain to the General Manager, they don't care. You don't even get an apology. I bought from Jim Coleman and Norris... much better experience. Don't waste your time and money with these guys.

I received an internet quote within 10 minutes of submitting a request. To my surprise, the quote was lower than the in-person quotes I "negotiated" at other dealers. Shortly after that I received a phone call to explain any questions I had about the quote. When I arrived at O'Donnell, I worked with Mike Garvey, who was fair, honest, and courteous. This is our fourth Honda with O'Donnell and they continue to be top notch. I always check other dealers first and then come to O'Donnell because the difference is night and day. They are friendly and straight forward. No hidden surprises. They go out of their way to make sure you get what you are looking for and are super nice about it. Easy peasy buying experience. My salesman was on vacation when my new car arrived so another salesman stepped in and took over the process and delivered the car to me. Even though it wasn't his sale he was just as professional and helpful. I could not have been more pleased.

My parents have purchased several Hondas from this dealership with Terry Askin, so he helped me make a used car purchase on a 2013 CR-V. Terry was excellent, well-prepared with the cars I was interested in ready to go for a test drive upon my arrival. Jason in Finance was wonderful and explained everything clearly. NO ONE was pushy which made the entire experience relaxed. I arrived at 4:30 PM and was home by 8 with my car. I had done my research, so I knew I was getting a fair price and great financing options. Thanks guys, I'll be back!

This is the second car I have bought from O'Donnell Honda. The last time was in 2003, but since Hondas are such great cars I haven't needed another one until now. Before deciding to go with O'Donnell Honda, I went to two other dealerships (Heritage Jeep of Parkville, MD, and Honda Norris of Dundalk, MD) for a new vehicle. With the two former I experienced a great dealing of haggling (including being surrounded by two salespersons and a manager with a death stare), the 4-square sales method, weird add-ons to the cost, plus zero negotiation, and I was shown the door by both dealerships in being told there was nothing that could be done for me. However, when I met Brian Blevins of O'Donnell Honda, he was the ultimate professional, plus an easygoing personality to boot. Unlike the other dealerships, my experience with O'Donnell Honda was haggle-free and easy breezy--no slimy psychological games, no sales pitch terrorism, and no sly gimmicks. I love that O'Donnell is so transparent about not adding fees, not having high-pressure sales, and showing class. It was my best sales buying experience ever-- best price and a great trade-in value too. Very pleased!!!

This is our 3rd time buying from O'Donnell Honda (we bought minivan last week). Every time was a nice experience all over. This time our sales person was Shayne Wilson, and he did a great job (definitely will recommend him to friends). And the Financial Director (Rajeev) we dealt with all 3 times is outstanding. We also dealt with Chris Councill (Internet Sales Manager I contacted first before coming to look at the cars) who was very helpful. Just want to say that this is the best dealer we tried out of good number. We used to be Toyota people, and changed to Honda after we came to look at our 1st Honda here, at O'Donnell (after trying couple other Honda dealerships). They are straight, not pushy (which is a big advantage on my book), and fast in preparing papers and financial side. So very pleased as always.

I went to investigate trading in my 2008 Accord. The way I was treated, the information I got, the no-pressure atmosphere were all great, but the deal was amazing. They offered me a good price for my trade-in, and Shayne showed me a 2015 Civic with less than 3,000 miles. That's like a new car to me, but it was not a new car price! When I told my husband the deal I was looking at, he was impressed with it, and me! I got lots of help with the technology in the car, all of which was new to me. I'm over 60, and Shayne was patient and gracious with me. I'll never buy a car anywhere else. Good deal and great treatment, what else could you possibly want?

The car was in excellent condition and several thousand dollars below market value for other cars of its year and mileage. We were initially disappointed to learn that the car came with only one key, and that a replacement key would cost us over $600, however, ODonnell Honda assisted us in locating a Toyota dealer who could make us the key, and they covered the entire cost of having the key made! What great customer service!

Chris gave us an outstanding price via email and phone, which the sales team honored. Brian Blevins was very responsive and helpful throughout the buying and trade-in process. We did some additional negotiating on a trade-in (we expected this) and in the end, the dealership matched an offer we had received elsewhere, which made the entire experience even simpler for us. At no time did we ever feel pressured to buy additional items, warranties, etc., nor did we have any unexpected surprises. It was definitely a positive experience and we highly recommend O'Donnell for someone interested in buying a new Honda.

I worked with Robert Wilkie to purchase a Honda Odyssey coming off lease. I made several trips to the dealership to complete the deal. Prior to coming in to sign the final paperwork with J.T., the Finance Manager, I asked about using the on-line accessory offer for new and used vehicles. Robert noted that they would have to sign it in-person, but that I should print it and bring the document with me when I completed the sales paperwork. I arrived and signed all necessary paperwork with JT and then found Robert to get the $200 accessory offer signed so that I might use it to add a roof rack to the vehicle. He found the sales manager, Ken Novak, who noted they would not honor that advertisement as I was not purchasing a vehicle from O'Donnell (this used car salesmen Jedi gibberish was offensive) and that if I had a problem with that then I could unwind the deal and leave. Luckily I was there with my family member who recommended I not let Ken's lack of professionalism and dishonorable stance sway me from completing the purchase. I purchased my first vehicle from O'Donnell 19 years ago and my last on 31 August. Great vehicle...horrible salesperson. Be forewarned.

I had bought a Honda Civic from O'Donnell in 2003 (after encountering the usual nonsense from other dealers), and went back there again last week for a new Civic. As before, it was an extremely easy, pleasant experience.Musa Mohammed was very helpful and informative, and after I looked at various cars, we completed the transaction and I had a new car! The financing process was smooth. As mentioned in other reviews, O'Donnell doesn't load up the cars with a bunch of extras to jack up the price of the cars, but you can add anything you want. The Civic EX-L already had everything I wanted, which was great.I can also highly recommend the O'Donnell service department. I had all maintenance on my prior Civic done there, and without exception had positive experiences.

We could not be more happy with our experience at O'Donnell. And we love our new Odyssey! The service department at O'Donnell is also excellent. I have only dealt with them a few times, but they have been more straightforward, honest, and less expensive than other auto repair shops I have used.

I got a quote sent to me by them through one of the internet site for a new car- when called said it was sold (so fast!). Few days later, sales person called and texted their price which was few hundred higher than the previous quoted price. I objected and left a message for their dealership General manager and also sales manager. Then I got an email from their internet manager that they would beat any price!!!after talking to their general manager, he asked me for a copy of proof of purchase that showed how much another dealer had sold the car just the night before. We sent copies of all documents. Then the sales manager said not only they will not match that price because their advertisement is only a general hype (don't know how more detail their ad could have been!), but they are not even willing to honor their sales person quoted price in writing from last night !!So I asked for his bottom line price which was at least $1100 more any other price they had quoted before. Even GOLD does not go up this fast !! Bottom line, shady business, bunch of scammers in my opinion. Car dealers are dime a dozen. They take no pride in their business and that is a shame- take your business somewhere else please !! Their sales manager said they do not have to honor any price they quote and their dealership gm whom claimed being there for 40 years never returned the call- Shame on you guys !! what a rip off artists you guys are.

I had a very very bad experience in this dealership. I went there at 10:25 am and came out from there at 6:45 pm. Although it was a Memorial Day weekend, the dealership wasn't that busy. First, nobody greeted us at the door. I had to ask a guy that I want to buy a car. So he accepted us a just give me a printout with spec sheet of the car I wanted. I knew what I gonna buy. But I wanted him to explain comparison between couple of models. Time to time, he ran away to some where and came back after 30-40 min. Finally, he took us for a test drive at 12:45 and I drove 2 cars in 20 minutes. Meanwhile he accepted 2-3 more buyers. He gave us pricing on 3 models and ran away again to deal another customer. I wanted to buy a car and this is why I was still sitting there. We decided on Civic EX (2015) and filled out an application for finance around 2:15 pm. We were sitting alone without the sale person. Nobody even asked us what was going on or if we need anything. Finally I asked manager what is happening here and he replied the sales person is busy with two more buyers. After one hour, the sales guy came to tell up that my file is with finance department. At 5:30 I could not take it anymore with pounding headache. I started to shout on them and told I want leave without car. I can buy anywhere with my money. Their behavior was as if they are doing me favor. Finally, at 6:15 the finance guy called us and completed everything. My point is if you want to buy a car with your money why you have to go through all these hassles? They have to treat you as a human. There was no CUSTOMER service at all. I cannot recommend anyone to this dealership. In this regards, Jim Coleman Honda was the best (I had buy car from them before). I feel sorry that I did not give them business this time.About the sales person: As I said he never introduced himself, I came to know his name was Robert Wilkie. He is not professional at all. He does not know even how to work with computer. I wish I do not have to deal with him anymore . His manager (do not know name) even told me that they have to buy coffee, water etc. for customers and that's why he cannot negotiate price anymore. I do not know any dealership who does say like that.

The O'Donnel Honda experience was great. First new car purchase in 15 years. We looked at several dealreship but picked O'Donnel for their knowledgable and helpful staff. Not pushy and they were patient while we tried out the various trypes of Civc, Fit and CRV. Suggest checking their price on the internet with several dealers. They did tahat as well and were able to offer the lowest price without going back and forth. Other dealers claimed they could matc any written quote but O'Donnel got it right the first time.

Last year I bought my Pilot Touring and still love it! I walked in to take a look at the Pilot after comparing the Highlander and was greeted by Shane Wilson. He was easy going and low pressure the entire time. It was a very hassle free experience from start to finish. I recently purchased a 2015 Honda from O'Donnell Honda and had a great experience. I went to O'Donnell because I was referred there due to their service department's good review from a friend and because they had a pleasant experience when they bought a car. My experience was very easy, I had called the night before to ask what I needed to bring and if they had the car I wanted in stock. When I arrived, I had a few choices of the car I wanted easily accessible and ready for me to test drive. Shayne Wilson was our sales representative and was very eager, knowledgeable, and much to my relief patient with me (I was very nervous). He was very understanding of my budget and did not push me one way or another, while still giving me all the options. During the process, I believe he must have helped every customer who came in- because they asked for him by name. Although he was helping others, he was still attentive and made sure I was still moving along in the process. I believe his ability to help multiple people showed his commitment to the customer even after you buy a car. What I really appreciated was that he showed me everything in the car after i bought it. There were a lot of new things I wasn't used to, but he showed me each thing which really eased my anxiety. I would definitely go back to Shayne again, and have already told my friend who is looking to purchase a Honda to go to him.

Last month I purchased my first brand new car - a 2015 Honda CRV EX-L AWD. I did a lot of research online prior to visiting the Honda dealership and knew exactly what I wanted and for what price. The dealership is very close to where I live and over the last year, I popped in twice to test drive the 2014 Accord and 2014 CRV. I ultimately decided on the CRV after some scary experiences driving in the snow this winter. I also have a large German Shepherd who goes almost everywhere with me, so I loved that the back seats of the CRV fold all the way down and there is a ton of room for her. When I finally saved up enough for my down payment, I headed to the dealership and Shayne Wilson assisted me throughout the process. He was so easy to work with - friendly, courteous, kind and professional. There was absolutely no pressure or steering involved and I was in and out within a few hours. I also worked with JT who assisted me with the loan process and he was very nice as well. Shayne Wilson is an excellent salesman. He was prompt, efficient and knowledgeable. No sales pressure but provided a good education to someone who had not bought a new Honda in 10 years. After my Honda CRV was delivered he spend 30 to 40 minutes going over every detail of the Honda with me to make sure I was comfortable with the features. He went over the inspection report to double check every item was in excellent condition. Shayne stayed after closing time to answer my questions and later that evening quickly followed up on a question by text message on a question my insurance company asked. O'Donnell Honda is 21 miles from my home (with two Honda dealers only half the distance from my home). I purchased my Honda there because of the excellent service and honesty.

Initially purchased a certified used vehicle and had a great experience. But, I noticed some issues with the vehicle and contacted the salesperson and also GM. i brought my 2008 odyssey in for a recall. I also described a issue with the steering. I had a coffee and some munchkins until the shuttle took me home. Later in the day I got a voicemail saying the work was done including fixing the steering issue under an separate service bulletin plus one more recall I wasn't aware of. No charge.

I went to O'Donnell Honda to get an estimate of the cost for a Honda CR-V. Stan Bailey met me as I entered and offered to help me. I told him what I was interested in. He asked a few questions after he invited me to sit at his desk. I told him the features I wanted. He gave me 2 alternatives for my preferences, the EX and EX-L. I thanked him and left the dealership within 20 minutes. After going to another dealership, which tried to get me to buy the car on the spot and kept me there for over an hour, I returned to buy my car from O'Donnell Honda. We had been researching and shopping around for a 2015 Honda Civic. We chose to begin our search at O'Donnell due to a long term relationship we have had with their service department, which has been excellent We already own two previously-owned Hondas which each now have over 150,000 miles on them. O'Donnell has done all of our maintenance work. We worked with Mike Garvey as our new car sales rep. His approach to the transaction was professional and low key. He was able to take care of the entire transaction himself, which I believe to be one of the strengths in the way O"Donnell appears to be organized. Prior to making our final decision, we went through a fairly rigorous process of due diligence, including a detailed personal budget analysis and visits to other dealers to test the market for availability and price of the models in which we were interested. Mike offered a reasonable asking price right up front without playing the "I've got to check with the manager" relay that appears to be quite common in many other dealerships. Although the price was above our budgeted amount, he was willing to add some options for which other dealers were adding an upcharge. We ended up purchasing a Civic EX, which put us somewhat over our budgeted amount, but provided some desirable features not included in the Civic LX (e.g., back-up camera, right-turn camera, moonroof). At no time did we feel that Mike was pushing us into the more expensive model, rather, we were interested in the EX and he did what he felt was reasonable to make it a bit more affordable. The only thing we aren't sure of is whether we could have gotten a small break on the price for paying cash. After we had agreed on the final price, it was apparent that Mike thought we would be financing the purchase with a loan. We are not aware of whether we could have negotiated a slightly lower price on a cash purchase with no trade-in. Overall, we came away feeling very satisfied that we had bought a great car at a fair price. We will most definitely continue to do business with Mike and O'Donnell Honda in the future!

We went to O'Donnell Honda because we had received a very good price on the internet. Accordingly there was not much to do at the dealer. Unfortunately, when we arrived at the dealer things started to go down hill. We had trouble finding a salesperson. While the salesperson was attentive at first, he wanted to get involved with other customers to make more sales. So we felt like we were bothering him to explain the cars functions. Then we had to wait over 2 1/2 hours for the finance person. The only explanation was that they were busy. We were told that because of this delay we would receive some type of compensation, but this was a lie. Then they could not find the second key to the car. They said they were going to mail the key, but I don't know how since they need the car. My wife went back several days latter and rather then be handled immediately she had to wait in the service department for over an hour. My wife complained several times about what we went through and at first was promised some time of compensation. When she heard nothing she called the service manager. This was the final blow. Rather than trying to console her, he was rude and disrespectful. I have never had such a miserable experience in buying a car in over 40 years of making such purchases. I would rather pay several hundred dollars more and go to another dealer rather than deal with O'Donnell.

I have never purchased a new car before, but I was very pleased with O'Donnell Honda. I had spent a good bit of time researching how much other people had paid for for the model and trim that I wanted and confirmed the invoice price, etc. Right away, I was given a price below invoice (I had confirmed with many sources that my numbers were correct). Overall, it was a very straightforward process.However, I will say that the finance guy that I worked with was very new (less than a month on the job) and he was very slow. It took over an hour to get quotes for financing.

Prior to finding Sayed and O'Donnell Honda, I had worked with three other dealerships and C*rm*x. I experienced unfair pricing and heavy pressure from C*rm*x, and the other dealerships were not able to meet my needs. Sayed is like a breath of fresh air. If asked to describe him as a salesman, I would say he's the best non-salesman salesman. This means, he doesn't try to "wheel and deal" you. Bought a Honda Accord, 2014 new. Sales person was JT. He was pretty laid back. No pressure. No gimmicks. Straight answers to questions. No fast talking. At the end of the day I felt happy that I bought the car. Rajiv was great explaining the financing terms and my options for warranty, as well as his adventures in the Near East during 70s, all in one breath. I knew the price was right since I validated that from other dealers. They said they would put a low deck spoiler for free as part of the agreement. I did not have to call them after purchase. They set up an appointment. Dropped the car. 2 hours later spoiler was installed. I did not even have to mention that it was going to be free. Cashier gave me the receipt with zero due. No discussions. I liked that too.

I had nor problem with the sales rep, but everything has been very frustrating since the deal was made. The finance department took forever to complete the sales documentation, which had a multitude of critical errors. The temporary registration was a mess. I bought my new Honda Fit on June 3, 2014, and I still don't have my permanent tags and title. At first, I had to call or e-mail several times before someone responded to my inquiries. When I did reach someone, I was told the tags and title were on their way. That was in mid July. They have not taken any action -- nothing they've told me about -- to resolve the problem. They just issued me new temp tags which expire in two weeks. Bottom line: They don't seem to care or operate with any sense of urgency.

Coming in to the dealership I knew exactly the car I wanted. Unfortunately they did not have any of the Accords that I wanted on the lot. Instead of trying to convince me that I should just buy a different car that they do have, Jerry Sommerville checked every single Honda dealership on the east coast while I was test driving all day. In less than 24 hours my car was on its way. I am now the proud owner of pretty much the only 2014 v6 Accord with a manual transmission on the East Coast and it is all thanks to Jerry. I drove 3 hours and 20 minutes from NJ to purchase a 2014 Accord and had a great experience with this dealership. This dealership had the lowest price compared to NY and NJ. They gave me a great price with some dealer installed options, no dealer in NJ could come within 2,000 dollars.I was out within 2.5 hours with no sales pressure to buy the Honda Care or anything else that I did not want.

My transmission was going bad on my 2002 Honda Accord, and I had decided to stop by to see what O'Donnell Honda would give me for my car. It wasn't much, considering my transmission was going bad. I was approached by Mr. Shayne Wilson in Sales, who directed an appraiser to look at my car. The quote wasn't what I expected, but then again, I knew my transmission was going. Shayne asked if I would like to look at a 2014 Honda Accord, and I stated I wasn't ready to buy a new car, but will take it for a ride. A couple hours later, I drove off with a beautiful black 2014 Honda Accord. I want to thank Shayne for being very professional and patient, and making me feel very comfortable, in buying my new car under a such a spontanenous moment. It was the right thing to do, and I couldn't of done it without him. I want to also give a thanks to Mr. Gregg Smith in the Financial Department, who couldn't of explained the finances any more clearer, and answered every questioned I had to the fullest. The purchase and trade in was easy. The only issue was with the finance department. This is the 4th Honda I have bought with them. I had to provide them a copy of my credit card since I had to wait for a duplicate title. All my cars are serviced there and I was not happy that they did not trust me. The manager and the person I dealt with said it was not necessary but he insisted.

This was my first car buying experience and I wanted to get a fair deal. I compared prices along with business etiquette between 4 dealerships but O'Donnell Honda stood out for me. For one, Chris Councill the Internet Sales Manager was so expedient with getting me a straight OTD price for my vehicle; no gimmicks, no games. He was great with following up with me without being pushy at all. He got Mike Garvey, Sales Consultant involved with the process and Mike assisted me with getting all the paperwork in order. I spoke with Mike and insured him that I would be at the dealership upon their opening and he was at the front desk waiting once I arrived. Although I did my research beforehand, I have to say that the team at O'Donnell Honda was great to work with. I was in & out of the dealership within 1.5 hours including my test drive. I will definitely return to this dealership once I'm ready to upgrade my vehicle. The service at O'Donnell Honda is simply extraordinary. Kudos.

After emailing several Honda dealerships in the area, O'Donnell provided the best on the road price for the exact *New* Odyssey I wanted. I was completely satisfied with the price, however I let this cloud my judgement when valuing my trade in. The price settled on for my trade-in was less than Carmax quoted (3 months earlier) however, considering tax savings, close enough to pull the trigger. Then I did something which no one should do - went back to see what they listed my trade for - $7,000 more than they gave me. Granted, they probably won't get full price, but none the less, left the feeling of getting shafted. Completely my fault for not being firmer on negotiating and walking away when they wouldn't even concede a $87 cargo tray, but still sucks big time. As nice as they may seem, at the end of they day they are trying to shaft you - sellers beware.

I gave my vehicle and told them that window is not rolling down properly, they told me that the motor is not working and needs to be replaced. The cost would be $400+. As I wasn't having funds, I decided to leave it as it is for some time. Yesterday when I took my vehicle to another place for regular oil change, he opened the door and fixed a loose contact, and the window is rolling down without any issue. The mechanic did not even charge me a single dollar. With above experience, I am never going back to them. Cheaters!

Considered buying a used car from here inspite of the higher price, which John thought he was doing a great job of researching. We put our concerns and he just lied making stuff up about brake pads. Also tried to sell a car and take the certification away from the car for 300 dollars which made no sense. After all this did not offer proper paperwork or full 2 set of keys. The only thing of interest was buy or walk out so we walked out. Both the salesman had no idea what the certification process included neither one offered proper paperwork or went over the repairs and other stuff. Only motto sell the car. Would definitely need better leadership.

I was considering buying either a Honda Insight, or a Civic Coupe. I received detailed quotes by email from Chris Councill and Shayne Wilson at O'Donnell Honda, who answered whatever questions I might have had. The quotes were way lower than those I had been given by other dealers, but more important to me was the fact that NOTHING was added on when I went there to buy. In fact a small deduction was made because I brought my own tags which Shayne cleaned up and put on my new Coupe. All this was in such sharp contrast to the deliberately misleading quotes I had received from Bethesda's dealership that it made the 30-mile drive, which I wasn't very keen to do, absolutely worth it. I recently purchased a 2011 Honda Accord from O'Donnell Honda in Ellicott City, MD. I was very nervous going into the buying process as I was doing it on my own, with little knowledge of the car buying process. I previously owned a Honda and knew that I wanted another Accord. Mike Garvey was referred to me and he and his team were fantastic. I did some research on their website prior to going to the dealership and had two cars that I wanted to look at and test drive. They were prompt, friendly, answered all of my questions and made me very comfortable. I knew what I could afford and never felt like they were trying to up-sell or convince me to do more than I was comfortable with. I returned to the dealership two days later and purchased one of the two cars that I looked at. The financing piece was also nerve wracking but they were incredibly informative and kept my payment right where I wanted it to be. Jason (can't recall last name) from financing was great. All around, an awesome, easy experience. I highly recommend O'Donnell Honda.
