After a previous awful experience at Nissan of Santa Rosa with a difficult and rude "closer", I got up the courage to go to another Nissan dealer - North Bay Nissan of Petaluma. I was fortunate enough to get, Guy Crosbie, who has been working there for 30 years. He was professional, knowledgeable, no games kind of guy. After a little back and forth on negotiating my new Nissan Sentra SR, he got me the price I wanted and we got through the purchasing process in less than 2 hours. My Unique Buying Experience

I wanted to sell my older car which has a stick shift. I had some ideas and suggestions about what to buy. Since I am such a pushover, I brought my partner's son with me to make certain that I got a good deal. We went to a couple other dealers first and studied and talked; they were not bad. Nonetheless we decided to try North Bay Nissan. Our salesperson went overboard for us to help us find something desirable at a bargain price. We took two test drives in two different models of Nissan. After much discussion we agreed on a vehicle. The dealer fetched it the next morning and had it all prepped for us. In fact, before that he picked us up in Sonoma before going to the dealership. Once we had the car at the ready, we took a test drive to make certain that it was just right. The paperwork was handled smoothly. We've been driving the new car for a few days, and we are pleased as Punch.

I like to get a new car but the process can be frustrating, when you are just looking over the cars it feels like an inconvenience to most sales staff. I would normally want to leave as soon possible with no info because it was not comfortable. North Bay Nissan has worked on keeping the pressure low and working harder to earn your business rather than expecting it. Hope that your next experience will be as smooth and painless as mine was. Also I would talk to Hans B. to get a straight up guy with real world Nissan experience and a good sense of the lease programs available. Not every buyer wants to pay cash or make a payment for 7 years on the same car. Hans gets it and will help you get into the new Nissan that youre looking for.

Hans Bigall is the Man at North Bay Nissan!

After driving a Yukon XL for 15 years it was time for a change. We had been shopping for a mini SRV in a variety of ways, car shows, internet etc... We narrowed our search down to two options one being the Nissan Murano. We drove into North Bay Nissan and there was Hans. He spent a long time with us and was very patient answering the muriad of questions that we had. He really knew his stuff! He found us the right car, worked with us on the financing and really wanted us to be happy with our purchase. We recommend first Hans Bigall, second Northbay Nissan and third a Murano for anyone who is ready to downsize from the big SUV. It is spacious and very comfortable.

I was investigating a used vehicle on the North Bay Nissan lot and chose to contact one of the sales reps rather than make the 185 mile (one-way) drive. The pictures of the vehicle were fine but I needed more input to satisfy my desire to go there. My pointed questions received perfect answers. Though we did not settle in on that particular vehicle at North Bay, I will remember the professional experience I had via email and voice as a very positive factor.

A great truck and a great time

I had owned my Ford Ranger for 16 years when the engine blew up on Friday. I was bummed. My buddy was dead. I mourned for 4 days then I went to Northbay Nissan to look for my next car. Outstanding Service

I wanted to say thank you again to Hans, Randy, Kenny and Andy for making the process of buying a car simple and stress free. My wife and I were looking for a family car that fit our price range and after dealing with a few other dealerships with "pushy" salesmen, we found North Bay Nissan. The first day we were helped by Randy who was really great about answering questions and showing us several options, but still allowed us to walk around and discuss it for ourselves. I came in on March 13th looking to just get a quote on a trade in value for my 2004 Nissan 350Z. Truth be told, it wasn't in tip top shape, i was interested in finding something reliable that could take its place. Hans Bigall was my sales consultant and he showed me a few cars that caught my attention based on the needs i have and specs i described to him that i wanted. Long story short Hans was very pleasant to work with and extremely personable. I am a first time buyer and he even helped me work out the logistics with the bank to get myself a decent APR on my loan and was very flexible. Because of Hans attitude and how he was helpful every step of the way i walked away with a new car; which was pleasantly unexpected! About 2 weeks into owning my new car the battery failed and when i brought it back to the dealership they swapped it out no questions asked and didn't have to pay out of pocket! We walked in not sure what we wanted. Hans met us at the door and was very welcoming. He was patient as we worked through the features that we were sure we wanted and listened as my boyfriend and I bantered back and forth. He quickly found us a truck that met our expectations. Best Dealer Experience Ever

I looked for months for just the right Frontier in exactly the right configuration. I was told everywhere else that I would have to special order it and expect to pay over MSRP. Northbay NISSAN had it on the lot and these guys were Great! I flew from southern Ca and Im glad I did. Hans Bigall was able to answer all of my questions on line and over the phone so I went for it. Everything went smoothly and the price made it more than worth the flight and the 7.5 hour drive home. Ill tell everyone that this is the place to go and Hans is the man to talk to.

I worked with Hans on my recent purchase of a 2012 Audi Q5. He was helpful and knowledgable during the test drive, without being pushy as you often get from car sales people. On the day I purchaced the vehicle, I was pressed for time, and was able to complete the buying process in 42 minutes. So smooth, so easy, all questions answered. I began my car search looking for a used 4wd pickup, and stopped by Northbay Nissan on a whim on my way to another dealer. They were trying to clear all the 2014s off the lot since it was well into the 2015 model year. After test driving some used trucks with close to 100K miles on them, I decided to investigate the idea of a new truck a little further. Long story short, I am now the proud owner of a brand new 2014 Frontier which I got at a very reasonable price and really good Nissan financing. Sales and financing departments were both easy to work with and never gave me a hard sell or the "what will it take to get you into this car today" treatment. I can very honestly say I am a satisfied customer.

I have been looking for a Subaru for over a year and was very happy to see one listed. North Bay Nissan had a used Subaru just listed and Hans Bigall provided quick and clear communication to me. I was a bit skeptical with driving up to 2 hours to test drive a used car but extremely happy that I did. Hans Bigall provided excellent customer service, the financial department was extremely friendly and cooperative along with a clean and friendly environment. I can't even say this about two of the Subaru dealerships that I visited previously in Santa Clara County. A quick and smooth process!

Hans Bigall helped me with purchasing a 2014 Nissan Versa. When I arrived, he was very friendly, and we took the car out for a spin on a long road that included a sharp turn, potholes, and the freeway. After that, the process went very smoothly, and he was willing to work with me on the price. The whole process took about 2.5 hours, with minimal waiting time, and Hans made the process fun. Leasing a new Leaf

I've just started a lease for a Nissan Leaf one week ago. This is the first time I've ever leased a car and this is my first electric car. So far it has been a great experience.This dealership was the first stop on my search for an electric car. Guy Crosbie worked with me and my wife explaining the nuances of being an electric car owner and showing what the Nissan Leaf had to offer and it's limitations. We never felt pressured and left feeling very good about the experience. I think Guy knew we were coming back.We visited a few more dealerships and decided the Leaf was the car for our needs. I called Guy late on a Saturday and he told me to come down. Abel was available to answer some questions to make sure the Leaf would meet my needs, he also owns a Leaf and was very helpful. I got the model and color that I wanted and continued with the sales process. Originally I had intended to buy the car but one of the incentives available for the 2014 model was not available for the 2015 and they were out of 2014's. Guy was very professional with this situation and let me work out the decision with my wife. We worked with Andy in the finance department and he was very helpful. After going through our options and asking a bunch of questions we figured leasing was the better choice. At no point did Andy pressure us in one direction or another and we're very happy with our choice.Ron's been helping me with figuring out home charging options. He's very knowledgeable and responsive through email. Consistent with the level of service we've experienced at North Bay Nissan.Depending on a fully electric car for my transportation is a new experience for me. Going through North Bay Nissan has made me more comfortable with my choice.

I am thankful that I received information from Cars.com as the website was running a ad letting me know that North Bay Nissan had just want I had looked at at another Nissan dealer. The price was $1,500 less. The salesman emailed me all the information and answered all my questions completely. I did not buy from North Bay as I wasn't able to get a ride there. The salesmen did offer to sent a car to where I was which was over 100 miles away. He went beyond what I would ever expect of a salesman. I did buy the exact same vehicle at another Nissan dealer.

When I knew they have the car with exact model/trim/package and color in stock, I began to negotiate the price with the salesman Bruce Higbie and he helped me to get an amazing deal! The deal was too good to be true, so I asked Bruce to make sure I'm qualified for Nissan finance to get this deal before I went there. He was very nice to help me run the credit check and told me I was qualified. Then I told him if they keep this deal for me, I will buy from them. I told him "now you have my words, can I have yours?" He called and told me he will keep his promise, that's a very critical personal quality. Northbay Nissan blew its competition out the water from the very beginning! I saw an online ad with a price that seemed too good to be true, so I called them up & was connected with Guy. He gave me an even better quote that no other dealership was willing to even come close to. The dealership was a little far so my husband & I decided to take a look at another one close by (Antioch) &when I tried negotiating their crazy high price on the same car down to what I was quoted from Guy, the manager came out & basically said that my price was too low to work with & whoever quoted it to me was probably lying to get me to their dealership. I left unsatisfied that they didn't even attempt to work with me, but when I arrived at Northbay, it was an entirely different story! Our experience with Northbay Nissan was excellent. We found the vehicle on Cars.com, who then notified the dealer. A salesman from Northbay contacted us and we set up an appointment to test drive the vehicle. It was very easy and did not consume a lot of time. Our salesman, Tieren had the vehicle ready for us to drive when we arrive for our appointment. He was very congenial and easy to work with, and the dealership had more of a "hometown" feel than some of the large car dealer groups. I would recommend Northay Nissan to anyone.
