I have never had a better car buying experience. The employees at Nissan of San Marcos were all friendly, gracious & super to work with. Each and every person I worked with made me feel like they were there to serve only me! I got a really good deal & felt great about the whole experience.

Kraig Stevens and the GM made this visit a ten. The two of them together made me more anxious to go back to this dealership for a fourth time. From these two I had great customer service and both went above and beyond. They are a great asset to Nissan
The whole process to purchase my wife a new vehicle took less than 90 minutes. The only hold up was for her to pick the color of her vechile. We had done our research on what we should pay for the vehicle and when we got to the dealer they quoted us one price and when we showed them the same vehicle for a lower price at another dealer they price matched. Dylan Dunford was very pleasant to deal with as he helped make the process very easy. Even during the pouring rain he showed us all the neat features in the Rogue my wife choose.

Everyone who helped us was nice and friendly. From the time we got there they offered us a refreshment. Our salesman Roy was very helpful . Even when calling him on a Sunday when office was closed he returned the call right away .

Crooks taking advantage of llaw abiding citizens!
Avoid this dealership and the new one they are about to open in New Braunfels. These people have forgotten the meaning of honesty and values. They sell used cars for the same price as new cars and they will low ball you on your trade in. I spent countless hours going back and forth, at the end I got stuck in a vehicle that I paid way over retail value. But once they hooked me and didn't want to give me my trade in back l was stuck like chuck. So please I sincerely advise you to stay away from any Vaughan Brothers establishment they do not know how to conduct business!
I was driving by the dealership and decided to stop to see what type of vehicles they had. I only had about 30 minutes to spare. In that time I was given a test drive and an invitation to return for a really good buy. I did return the following week. The staff was friendly and courteous. They worked with me to not only to find the vehicle I wanted but to also stay within my price range. I am so very happy with my vehicle. My sales person was Ryan Johnson. I have and highly recommend this dealership and my sales person!
Excellent New Vehicle Buying Experience!
Ryan Johnson made the dreaded new vehicle buying experience painless. While another salesman had sent us an erroneous quote on a new Frontier, Ryan worked through a difficult situation like a true professional. San Marcus Nissan's facility is particulary well planned and laid out for sales and service. I would highly recomment this dealership. With that said, stay the hell away from Clay Cooley in Austin. Yelp has San Marcus Nissan rated 4.5 stars and Cooley with 1 star... There is a significant difference!

I went to Nissan of San Marcos because it is one of the certified CarPro Show dealer in the area so I had high expectations. Jerry Reynolds, Christian Guerra, and Mr. Vaughn should be proud of the team at Nissan of San Marcos. They were able to help me find the Nissan Frontier that I liked. Chadwick went the extra mile, I definitely appreciate this, he delivered my vehicle to Kyle. Jasetin, honestly I would have to say the best finance manager I have dealt with, which has been several, he found the lowest interest rate for me for my loan. Overall, my exceptions were met and exceeded at Nissan of San Marcos. I know for a fact that they work hard to earn you business and above all, work even harder to keep your business. I will be coming back for my next vehicle.

Another great experience buying from your dealership. This is our second in two years and our youngest daughter bought a Pathfinder their last May. Roy treated us very well and was a big help. Roy has continued treating us as if we were in the process of buying a car and not as if the sale is over and move on to the next customer. We will be back.
Bought a new Sentra SR car for our daughter who is in college. Process was easy, approved for financing with our bank and financing asked us to go through Nissan Financing and we did. Nissan financing beat our banks interest rate. Sales, finance and customer service rep were great to work with.

Knowledgeable people and easy to deal with, willing to help all they can. Mr. James Scott was very helpful and found the one car that met our needs and wishes.Mr. Scott was even willing to deliver the car to our house when we were unable to stay for the detailing and such after all paper work was done. He stayed for some time when he delivered, to show the husband all the new details of the dashboard electronics.

I have begin by bragging on my sales rep., Roy Gonzalez was awesome, did everything to make it possible for me to have what I wanted. The dealership as a whole made me feel at home, and comfortable. We purchased a vehicle in October of 2015. That process was okay. I guess once you sign on the dotted line that's all she wrote. We got GAP coverage and wound up able to refinance at a better rate and needed to cancel the GAP coverage. This is where the absolute worst customer service from anywhere begins. We left multiple messages both phone and email to Mr Kasch in finance. After a month of no response from Mr Kasch, we contacted the dealership and spoke with a manager Mr Putnam who assured us he would take care of it. Well guess who contacted us the next day? Why Mr Kasch of course... When I kept trying to point out how upset we were, he blew me off. To make a frustratingly long story short, the vehicle was refinanced in November. Paperwork was completed in December. We contacted the company with the GAP coverage and as of today Feb 4, 2016, they have received no paperwork from good old Mr Kasch. We've left messages for Mr Kasch and you guessed it. No Response!!! STAY AWAY. These people are worthless.

I've purchased vehicles from dealerships before and this was the most pleasant experience. I saw the purchased vehicle on line, called Nissan of San Marcos and was connected to Jessica. The whole time of working with her from the telephone call to going into the dealership she was helpful and professional. The best part was I never felt pressured to make any decisions from the sales floor to the F&I dealings. The deal was closed in less than two hours, including my test drive. Jessica and Theo are to be commended. Made car buying fun.

Dylan Dunford assisted my grandma, mother, and I in purchasing a car. My experience was great! Even though Dylan was new, he along with his other co-workers made sure that I was able to purchase a brand new juke. Dylan was very friendly and very polite to my grandma and mother. He made us feel very comfortable. Hopefully I won't have to purchase another vehicle for a while but when it is time, I will make sure to come back for the outstanding customer service.

Restored My Faith
After writing this review yesterday, I have spoken with Michael Conner and Cassandra Gonzales of San Marcos Nissan. They were both apologetic, understanding, and helpful. Mr. Conner told me to bring the car back in to them and he will correct whatever is wrong with the car and give us a loaner until it is fixed. He has restored my faith in this dealership, and I appreciate him stepping up and taking care of this issue so quickly. I change my rating to 5 stars for customer service, and I would certainly recommend this dealership.

Just stopped in to take a look at the 2014 Rouges. The location didn't have one in the color and trim I was looking for so James made note of everything I wanted my new car to have and found one for me. Irritating Salesman games
An awful experience. Salesman played typical salesman games so badly that I was embarrassed for him. Tried to pretend that the post-trade in price was the price, then refused to tell me the actual price of the car despite my asking six times. I really don't understand what he thought he might gain from all this, but we left and bought in Round Rock. This was a complete joke.
Worst dealer experience ever!!
I had the worst experience at this dealership! The salesmen were condescending and I couldn't get a straight answer out of them on a price ever. It felt like they were trying to trick me every step of the way from crazy outrageous prices to high pressure sales games. I have never been so offended in trying to buy anything before, it was ridiculous. I wouldn't take a car from this dealership if they gave it to me!

I went to Nissan of San Marcos in San Marcos, TX to get some information on purchasing a 2013 Nissan Juke. I spoke with a salesman named Bob Rogers and was appalled at the tactics and pressure he attempted to use to coerce me into buying a vehicle. He and his "sales manager" partner (whose name I did not get - tall, slender blonde man) were extremely condescending and bullying during their dog and pony show, to the point that it made me very uncomfortable as a customer. I clearly told Bob up front that I was not going to be buying a car yesterday but that I needed to get some pricing so I could decide between ordering a Nismo and purchasing an SV/SL model of Juke that the dealership had in stock, and would be making a purchase in the very near future. He seemed to know very little about the Nissan product line in general and little to nothing about the Juke specifically. I knew a considerable amount more about them than he did, I could have sold them far more successfully. Initially, he tried to tell me that a Nismo was $30,000. I am not sure if this was a calculated lie or just general lack of any knowledge about the product but given that it came from a conversation in the sales office, I tend to believe they were trying to put something over on me. I think he was a little surprised that I quoted the Juke Nismo MSRP back to him, which is, of course, far below the figure he gave me.We took a test drive in one of the Jukes and when we returned, I again asked him for some pricing with various options. He asked me for some information on the vehicle I may trade in, such as mileage, year and model. He then asked for my insurance card to get the "trade in information" off of it. He had all of the information he could possibly have needed at that point, and If he wanted to run a check on my VIN, he should have just asked for it. It is a clean title, there is nothing to hide on it, but it felt very much like he was trying to trick me into giving him information that was not needed. He came back with a quote sheet that listed an MSRP number and a very undervalued trade in number. He then tried to tell me that the top MSRP number didn't matter, that the price was the bottom number (MSRP minus trade in). This is where I should have just gotten up and left. That clearly is not the price of the car and this was the first of many insulting attempts at overcharging or tricking me. I explained this to him and asked him for an actual price for the top number on the sheet that was not MSRP. This was about the tenth time I asked him for a price on some different options and other than the ridiculous quote on the Nismo, the MSRP number on one specific car was the only one I was given. Bob kept asking me how much I wanted to pay or what type of payment i was looking for. I realize that these are sales tactics but I specifically asked him to get me some prices on vehicles he had in stock that met my specifications so we had a place to start. He seemed to be deliberately refusing to do so. He came back with his "sales manager" who proceeded to give me the most condescending lecture on the 3M's of car sales and the like. The "sales manager" then snidely told me I was obviously only in "informational mode", like he was wasting his time - actually I was in decision mode, having decided I wanted to purchase a Juke and wanting specific prices so I could decide between the options, but nobody seemed to hear anything I was asking for. I was obviously the one wasting my time, not him. They kept on about my purchasing this one specific car (that I had indicated I was unsure about) that day. I don't know if they talk down to and try to bully everyone like this or if it is because I am a woman, but I was speechless at how badly they were behaving. I have never been more offended by how I have been treated in a business or retail situation, I was embarrassed for them.I finally left there asking Bob to go over my specifications and email me initial quotes for the vehicles he had in stock that would fit my criteria. I received an email from Bob before I got home, but again, with no pricing quotes. I emailed him back once more, again asking for pricing. He sent me 8 more emails, none of which contain any actual quotes. In the 10th email, I finally received a price on something. Unfortunately it was on a vehicle that was neither a color I requested nor had any of the features I was most specific about wanting.At this point, I would not deal with Bob again if he gave the Juke to me and I certainly would not trust him with any large purchase such as a car. There is no way I would be comfortable signing any paperwork he was involved in. I felt lied to and that he was trying to trick or manipulate me at every step of the process, and his "sales manager" was far worse. These are the guys that have created the stereotypes of sleazy car salesmen.
