I recently purchased a BMW through New Country BMW in Hartford. I have been to many dealerships in the past and that awkward feeling once you walk-in was non-existent here. It was my first time dealing with a car dealership, let alone any salesperson on my own. The salesperson, Eddie was knowledgeable, professional and friendly. My numerous questions regarding lease deals and packages were addressed with a helpful and a no pressure attitude. This is the first dealership I've gone to that I didn't feel obligated to purchase. I did some research afterwards and ended up getting the car the next day with ease. It was a great experience all around. I would definitely recommend the salesperson, Eddie, to anyone!

I was not sure if I was going to purchase a BMW when I got to New Country because I am very picky and indecisive. I was checking out a lot of different places and wanted to make the best financial decision. After Omar help me (ask for him), I was convinced that the BMW was the only way to go. I did not want any other car. In fact, I went on a test drive on the highway, and I fell in love with the car. Omar was extremely knowledgeable about BMWs, especially because he has one himself. Seth Falco is a true professional. This was my third time buying a car and who else to go to but him. I bought my previous two BMW from him but wanted to lease my new 2015 320i. My wife and I recently purchased a used 2013 x5 50i from New Country BMW. This was our first BMW purchase and won't be our last. Seth made the car buying experience fun and easy. His personality and style is like none we've experienced before. He's fun and honest. We were in the market for a used SUV and he was able to find one that met all our (well specifically my wife's) "must haves". Although this was our first experience, we felt like we were part of the BMW family. Everyone we met at the dealership made us feel right at home. They were good with our kids too (even scored them some BMW swag). Seth went above and beyond to help my wife learn all the controls. He even stopped by our house on his way home from work to help her with some features that she forgot how to use! I know who and where I'll be going when it's my turn for a new car!

This is to commend Service Advisor Dale Martini and the entire service staff at New Country BMW, all of whom rose to the occasion when this Florida resident - traveling back home after a visit to New Hampshire - pulled in at 7 a.m. on a Monday morning with a thoroughly glitched-up adaptive headlight system on a relatively new 535d. Ms. Martini not only wrote it up quickly and accurately, she also bird-dogged it throughout the morning, making sure that progress was made and that I was kept informed of the situation. Bottom line: By noon that same day, the repair was completed, a routine annual service also was performed and we were on our way back home. Totally first class operation and kudos to all, especially Ms. Martini.

In June 2014, I traded in my 2013 BMW M3 Coupe to this dealer. Before arriving, Seth Falco emailed me the Friday before stating they had a bank approval for 25k. When I dropped off my car the Monday after, they business manager emailed and called me saying they had no such approval, this was after I made a hour drive and dropped off my car. They pulled this stunt because they were interested in taking my trade, Seth was emailed all the specs including VIN number prior. They agreed to buy it anyway, sent me a check for the difference after payoff, ordered the new car in the mean time. I was looking at a M235i Xdrive and had time to improve credit. When I sold it back in March, they took off 1k for minor scratches on rims, a warranty purchased prior should have covered this. I was unaware of it at the time, several warranties were purchased at time of vehicle delivery, I found out after dropping it off days later. They failed to file a claim with warranty company, if they had done so, there would have been no need to take 1k off sale price. Long story short, watch out if you trade your car in with these people!!!. They will lie out right to you to get your trade, especially if making a long trip over. When you threaten to make a negative review like this one, Tim Parker will accuse you of "internet terrorism" like there is such a thing... Their most recent line of BS is even better, they state if a warranty claim was filed that would have lowered the refund amount when canceled... Nice try but, if anything, refund would have been prorated and would not come close to 1k difference, which is what they took off for damage. Jeff Benton was the only person to look at it and not with any body shop, they don't even have one on their premises!! Again, screwed over with trade. Watch out for these people!!! I've had a CPO 2010 328i Sport Wagon, since 2011 and have put some miles on it. I was looking for another low mileage CPO vehicle, this time was in the market for a coupe and had recently bought an X3 for my wife from Russ Rubinow. So when he contacted me about the 2012 328i x-Drive M-Sport Coupe with just 12,110 miles on it, I came in for a test ride the next day. Russ is friendly, professional, easy to work with and really does have your best interest in mind. I am VERY happy with the Coupe, it is even more fun to drive than the Sport Wagon, and I thoroughly enjoyed that car for the last four years. But I am also pleased with the entire experience at New Country BMW, and would highly recommend it to anyone interested in a new or used BMW. There is no pressure, including completing the purchase with the finance manager (Kim) who was also easy to work with, and very straightforward with what my options were. Russ, Kim and both Dale and John in their Service Department, all work together to provide an excellent customer experience, New Country BMW is lucky to have you all on the floor... you represent them well.

I leased 2015 BMW X5 and traded Acura MDX in yesterday. The price could have been better (it is always tricky to evaluate/rate overall price with leasing/trade in) and I know it is done by a sales manager. The reason why I am writting this is to highly recommend Murray in sales dept. He is friendly, honest, and ethical. I previously purchased cars from Acura, Infiniti, and Lexus dealers, and Murray was better than any salesman I dealt with.I would highly recommend Murray and this dealership.

Immediately upon my entering of NC BMW, Murray greeted me and I explained to him the exact specifics of the deal I wanted and insisted there be no BS. Like clockwork murray located the vehicle I wanted with more options than I could have imagined and because it was a 2014 leftover he was able to knock 8500 off MSRP bringing a sticker 53000 to 45 and change. Awesome dealer better experience. I would highly recomend NC BMW and Murray to anyone in need of a vehicle.

I was referred to Seth Falco at New Country BMW by a good friend whom I trust. He promised me that Seth and New Country BMW were unlike any other car salesperson/dealership. Of course I was skeptical so when I called Seth to check him out, I started with "I hate buying new cars" and he quickly replied "So do I." Would you ever have expected that reply from a car salesperson? Of course not. I skipped the pleasantries and went right to what I was looking for. Seth didn't skip a beat. After 2 phone calls and 2 texts, he had essentially sold me my new 2015 BMW X1 over the phone. A week later I drove to the dealership, test drove the car he had set aside for me and signed the paperwork. When I picked up the car I brought my 13 year old nephew along for the ride. Even my nephew left there saying "that guy is SO nice and maybe I could sell cars like that." We are still laughing about that a month and a half later. Seth knows what he's doing which is of course important, but he doesn't try to SELL you anything. He helps you find a solution that works for YOU. The dealership is gorgeous. Make sure she see Seth or the Jamaican Sensation who is equally as nice to deal with, professional and not pushy! Seriously, Seth Falco and New Country BMW make you LOVE the new car buying process. I told Seth I'll be back in 2 years for my next BMW.

I was casually approached by Jackson Felix who had the most low-pressure and professional attitude I have experienced. After informing him of my interests, he showed me a beautiful, low miles, 5 -series that fit my needs and the deal was done a short time later, which also included a trade-in. I would highly recommend New Country BMW and would tell anyone considering a BMW to deal with Jackson Felix. His low-pressure, informative, and welcoming attitude was a nice change from some other places I visited. He even stayed after the dealership closed to give me a very informative tutorial about the car, and made sure that I was comfortable with the whole experience. Overall - A very efficient, pleasant and reassuring experience at New Country BMW of Hartford. Ask for Murray! Just recently I have resolved my void for a car in my life. I'v lived in Connecticut my entire life of 28 years and my first car had finally retired. I had been searching for a fairly young and reliable used car for almost 2 months when I came across a used car ad by New Country BMW of Hartford. I was very set on going through a private dealer, paying cash and looking for the right deal. So naturally I assumed pricing would be higher than the average when going through a dealership. I was looking at an Acura TSX, young and in excellent condition. The price was... average? Surprised, I budgeted all my money, put together a large down payment and figured i'd go talk to the sales team. My salesman was Murray and I can't emphasize enough how approachable and nice of a guy he is. Without saying a word I already felt invited to engage with him. If there was anyone in that room I would have wanted as my salesman, it would be Murray. In retrospect to the entire experience, it's the little things like that that made a huge difference in what makes the experience comfortable and over an excellent experience. Beyond that, he was experienced, efficient, and gave me the black and white of pricing and the vehicle I was looking into. The price of the car was already in the average range according to Kelly Blue Book and Murray was able to be even MORE flexible with the price. Just enough to make this a good deal. I was getting a car for what I would get from a private dealer, with the amazing assurance of a very qualified high-end BMW dealership inspection and all the perks of talking directly to the experts about possible extended warranty options. Bob, who helped me with the payment options and final signing was also very experienced and very easy to talk to.

I contacted the NEw Country's Mini Dealership because I was shopping around and hadn't decided what type of car I was going to get, but one type of Mini was on my "possibility" list. Chris answered all of my questions, and led me on a test drive. He was super nice, and I got all of the information I wanted with no pressure. The dealership is also really cool. Probably the least intimidating dealership I've ever been in. I would recommend to anyone, and although they didn't have the exact car I was looking for, I will definitely come back to Chris and New Country Mini when they do!

I began to come to New Country for service. They are friendly and go the extra mile to help you. It can take a little time to talk with a service advisor though. While my car was in for service the last time, I went to pick up a loaner. They gave me several choices that day, one of which was an X3. After driving a 3 series coupe for the past 5 years it would be different. I got a 2014 X3 that only had about 2,500 miles on it. Very nicely equipped and clean. After driving it a couple of days, I called the sales department. Seth called me back to talk about a trade. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. After a few calls we made a deal on one they had in stock. He handled everything quickly and smoothly! Kim was also helpful with the paperwork.

Every few years I forget how inept this dealership is, and decide to give them another try. This time went to look for a CPO 3-Series. Prices are thousands higher than dealerships in NJ, and they lie lie lie to you without giving it a second thought. The salesman lied to me about 5 times within the span of a 45 minute visit. He actually tried to sell me a car for MORE than it was listed for online. He told me that the dealer admin fees were regulated by the state (they're not). He told me the financing program ended "today" (it didn't). He lied about options on the car. I'm not going to mention his name. His desk was near the front. I finally found a great car at a top-rated dealership (JMK BMW in NJ) for a great price, and they didn't lie to me even once. Too bad I had to drive 100 miles to find a BMW dealer worthy of my business. I just tried to call the Service department at New Country and the phone just rings and rings and rings.I wonder if they will EVER get their act together. Really sad.

My husband and I went to Lexus, Mercedes, Audi, Infinity and several other dealerships test driving cars to see which car handled the best. I am happy we saved the "Best" for last...the BMW handled and drove like a car and less like an SUV. Has a lot of pep as well. After dealing with so many different dealerships and sales representative, BMW's Steven Rothman was by far the best. He made the experience truly wonderful. He was professional and sincere. We had been turned off by several of the other dealerships just on the way the sales rep acted. I felt like most of them go to a course and follow a script which made us uneasy. Steven also took a great deal of his time going over the SUV with us when we picked it up. He was so good that after several hours of going over the inside of the car (gadgets), our eleven year old who was with us was STILL engaged as much as we were on listening to the many great features of the car. I would highly recommend this dealership and Mr. Rothman as well.

New Country Staff are only interested in making a sale. I tried a mini lease with new country mini. And it was not good enough for them to just have a signed lease they want to sell extras and if you let them know you not interested in extras they then become angry and they get rude. They really just want to sell the most they can toeach person so I think they have weak character as other dealearships I have worked with do not behave this way. They never thanked me for selecting them for the lease since I can only guess I did not buy the extras they tried to sell. Then upon returning the car three years later they were rude and wanted me to sit for hours even though they only had a few customers in the building. A fellow named Chris was like busy no time and he displayed rude behavior and I speculate that he thought no sell possibility no service. Chris sits behind shady glass in the bmw building. So I walk back over to the mini show room and then I get put through to "Jeff" as the person to go to. Ok he would not get off his seat and meet a customer and it was awkward as if he not want a customer to talk to him behind the shady glass sitting beside his pal "Chris". In the end I did finally get the mini returned and they nickled and dimed me and never even said thaks for business. Nor did they try to do another deal I.e. never asked how the lease was and if I like to consider another. Really sad characters.

I had a fantastic experience with Jeremy Pease in purchasing my new 2014 BMW X5. As a true BMW enthusiast I have driven by and looked at vehicles at your dealership probably 75 times over the past 5 years. I am very selective and was looking for a certain vehicle with certain options and was not going to settle. I had the opportunity to meet Jeremy about 4 years ago on one of my visits. We kept on touch over the years and would speak when he had a vehicle that he thought I would be interested in. He planted the seeds and waited a long time for the harvest. Last week I stopped by the dealership and finally saw the vehicle I was looking for. Jeremy took me for a test ride and explained all of the new features of the 2014 X5. Although a brand new model, he acted as if he knew the ins and outs of this vehicle for years. He was extremely helpful in negotiating the sales price of the vehicle and putting money on my trade in. His service, expertise, knowledge, attention to detail, and passion about BMW was extraordinary and is in keeping with the highest traditions of BMW and I am sure New Country as well. On a recent purchase of a late model used BMW the delivery was a disappointment. The car was delivered in less than what would be considered clean condition. During our delivery the sales representative was taking the time to clean up spill stains inside the car. Something the detail shop should have taken care off. On closer inspection when I arrived home it appears the dealer detail shop gave the vehicle a car wash, vacuum and speed wax neglecting to inspect and clean the interior windows, alloy wheels and seating area. I called and left a message with the sales department about the delivery and the cars condition and never received the courtesy of a return call from the sales manager. If this is their first impression of service I will be servicing with another BMW dealer in the future.

Our overall experience from first visiting the showroom to taking delivery of the car, was excellent, starting with the sales advisor (Murray M.) who was the best we've ever encountered. He is professional, helpful, courteous, respectful and willing to take the time to answer our questions and do extra to inform us. This is our first BMW (535i x-drive) and we'll be back as long as Murray is still there. After considering other comparable brands (Mercedes, Lexus, Audi) we chose BMW, not just for BMW's reputation but mostly because of the pleasant experience dealing with Murray. All of the New Country BMW personnel (Jackson, Kim, ....etc.) we encountered were also very nice and helped to make the experience an enjoyable one, as it should be.

Seth Falco helped me with a 2007 Mini Cooper S JCW they received by trade in. Seth was by far the best representative I ever worked with at a car dealership. The process was stress free and I never felt pressured at all. Seth was there to meet me after work during the week or 8:30am on a Saturday morning. I asked a lot of questions regarding the vehicle and Seth responded quickly and even brought the GM from the Mini dealership come over and personally answer any questions I had. The vehicle did get purchased while I was still considering if I wanted to purchase or not. This is my fault since I take a lot of time and research before most purchases. If I ever plan on purchasing a Mini or BMW in the future I would definitely work with Seth again!

I'm actively looking for a 135i coupe, and New Country had a recently traded model with everything I wanted. The internet sales manager is Seth Falco, who was my contact. I saw he had some great reviews on this site, so I reached out to him about the car. I wish I would've gotten the same person all others were so happy with. Seth did not return emails in timely fashion (often three days between, and that was usually after I called to see if he got them), and the dealership didn't hold the car for me while we discussed. I even offered to put a deposit down, which they don't do, and that's fine, but just holding the car while we could work on a deal isn't too much too ask. They sold the car without any response to my inquiries, wanted to go through email rather than talk on the phone, and honestly I was very disappointed with Seth's attitude and sales approach. He continues to tell me he wants to "earn my business" but conducts himself this way? Poor sales approach Seth, very poor. Another BMW dealership will earn my business. If this is what it took to realize I can't trust or depend on the people selling the vehicle, then that's ok, as it's not a deal I want.

So I walked into New Country back in January looking to purchase a used 335xi. Today I was lucky enough to drive out of there with a brand new, 2013 335xi that I was able to customize and have built specifically for me. Seth Falco was the man that made this all happen. In our first encounter, it was evident how professional and knowledgeable he was in addition to making sure that I was going to get exactly what I wanted. This should have been difficult since I was looking for a used 2010 and had not narrowed down all of the packages that I desired. This review is for our fourth BMW and the first one purchased at New Country BMW. This is also the first time we purchased a car for European Delivery. We first thought of buying a new 5 Series and made initial arrangements with Tim Parker, the General Manager. When we changed our minds to do a European Delivery, Tim couldn't have been more supportive and encouraging. He had Russ Rubinow work with us as he is a specialist in this delivery option. Russ has the patience of a saint, very important for a first time purchaser. We were five months away from actually taking delivery of the car in Munich when we signed the purchase order. During that time we had an endless list of questions and Russ had all the answers. He also set our expectations on what would happen and when. His advice on all aspects of the delivery were instrumental in our having a great experience traveling throughout Europe, and also in purchasing a great car. In both Hartford and Munich we were treated as one would want when buying a premier automobile. We couldn't be more pleased with the car and New Country BMW.

I have never been treated so rudely than I was by General Manager Tim Parker. His attitude towards customers is not suitable for that of a BMW dealership. If you have an issue with how his dealership or staff handle an issue, he won't address it, he will simply take the side of his staff. In other words, according to Tim, the customer is NOT right, and he doesn't care what you say. I was planning on buying a BMW from them, but will now take my business to BMW of North Haven. I DO NOT recommend this dealership or Mr. Parkers "don't care" attitude to anyone who is looking for even "good" customer service. Thumbs down Mr. rude Parker.

I have been looking for a MINI for a long time. Everyone here was so nice and took such good care of me from the moment I walked in the door. They did not hound or pressure me into anything. We went looking for Mini Coopers here. If you like having the sales maanger treat you with arrogance and look down his nose at you, then come here. To be fair, our sales guy was good. However, rudness is not acceptable when shopping for a car - from anyone in the dealership. We decided to drive to south CT for our Mini shopping experience and were much happier. Do yourself a favor and go to Darien, they are much nicer, have more to choose from and are not snobby.

I own 3 BMWs and bought a new X3 from New Country in 2007. I had all service on my cars done there too and was quite happy with the service department. They seemed to do a good job and were quite quick. However, when I went to trade in my '07 X3 on a new 2011 X3, the trade in value New Country would give me on my accident-free, immaculate X3 that they had serviced was $3,000 less than I could get down the road in North Haven. Three days ago, my E46 3-series stopped running in the middle of my 4 states crossing road trip. The car stalled at 91 South Bound in the Hartford area because of a dead alternator which also caused my car's battery to die down. I am not familiar with Connecticut's area and so I let the tow truck guy took my car to the closest BMW dealer. It was already after 9:00 pm when I reached New Country BMW, so I had my car just dropped there and came back on the next morning. I met a service advisor and described to her about the problem of my car. Later, the service advisor told me that I have to pay over $1000 to replace the alternator. I knew they were trying to rip me off and so I asked her if the dealer have any service special discount and she told me none at all. At that time, I intended to take my 69 years old mother who was exhausted on the trip to go home without any further delay; hence, I had no choice but to agree to let them fixed my car asap! My car was fixed after 5 hours later and my bill was over $1100. Later on that day, after I finally got back to my home, I called my favorite BMW dealer who has serviced my car for the last nine years and they told me that the cost for replacing the alternator is at least $200 cheaper. On top of that, I checked New Country BMW's web site and found out that they actually have a 15% off over $500 special on BMW vehicle being serviced at there until the end of September. So, I am talking about another over $150 saving which the service advisor refused to let me know about it! I can't believe a big dealership like New Country BMW will go all the way to take advantage on a someone else misfortune as in my case! Avoid them at all cost!

I purchased a certified pre-owned 3 series from this dealership. I felt from the minute I walked in I was treated with respect and all of my expectations were met. I received a great value on my trade in vehicle - i got the trade appraised at car max as well however, New Country was willing to give me more for my vehicle. I had the used car for about 3 years before I turned it in for a leased x3. When the 3 series was due for maintenance I never had any issues making my appointment at new country for service my car was always in and out same day. The certified pre-owned warrantee is hard to beat on a used BMW. As for my leased x3 everything was covered under warrantee including regular maintenance for the length of the lease so again very easy to make appointments in service and get the car taken care of. Whenever I have a question my client advisor is always more then happy to help or direct me to someone who can be of assistance. Just a really great dealership with really helpful employees, the finance manager was also very easy to deal with and very helpful and the general manager, Tim Parker, wants to make sure all of the vehicle owners have great experiences in sales and in service. Since having such great experiences with both a certified pre-owned vehicle as well as a new leased vehicle my husband and I have leased 3 more new vehicles from this dealership and from the same Client Advisor. We have a 2 year old and I would trust no vehicle more then a BMW with my family, the safety and security the brand offers with its exceptional product is un-comparable in my mind. They continue to greet me by name, months after purchasing my car there. All aspects of sales and service has been great. I have just purchased my second car from Mr. Langley and must say I am quite pleased with the way this gentleman does business. He is quite knowledgable about the product, has a low key, no pressure sales strategy, and is up-front and transparent when it comes to price. None of the running back to the salesmanager crap with this dealership. My car was delivered when promised in impeccable condition with the exception of a set of floor mats which I'm told are on backorder. Stay away from this guy I didn't listen to what other BMW fanatics were trying to advise me against and I've got burned. I'm bringing the car back for the third time (same reason)! At this point I wouldn't say that my general experience was horrible but I strongly believe that the service rep is out there to pay attention to things that you would normally pay attention to. On the other hand, in this instance I view the dealer through the quality of service I get. I'll give them another try this time with Ethan Gombossy

On another note, when I was buying my BMW I have walked into the dealership and was nearly humiliated by Vahan Zhamkochian (I could only speculate in saying that I might not necessarily fit the demographic profile of most BMW owners).
