Found the car I wanted on Cars.com and sent them an email. Someone called me within 30 seconds of sending- no exaggerating. Joule, who I believe is in charge of inquiries online, was attentive, responsive and awesome to work with. We essentially got a price negotiated, trade in considered and appointment set up via email and text. All that was left to do was pop into the dealership, give our vehicles the once over and close the deal. Very easy, low pressure and positive experience.

My husband and I are seniors, we have been to a lot of dealerships in our lives. This is by far the best one ever. From our salesman (Bob Diepan), to the manager Paul Gottlinger, Mike Powell in service (I would like to adopt him), Amy Dance in customer service, and Mr. Muller, they are all so friendly and helpful. The service is also 5 star, we love getting the car washed every time we bring the MDX in for service, they go above and beyond. We moved about an hour away, but would not go anywhere else for service.

On a late Friday afternoon last October, we were northbound on Interstate 65 in my 2015 Acura TLX SH-AWD. We had just crossed over US 30 and were keeping up with the traffic which was running at about 70 mph. All of a sudden, three or four pieces of scaffolding fell off a construction vehicle that was in a lane to my left and perhaps 30 yards ahead! All the pieces were laying flat but moving diagonally in front of me toward the (right) shoulder. I immediately swerved drastically to the right. (Thank goodness for the SH-AWD!) I thought I had managed to avoid all the scaffolding, but in fact, one clipped the rear driver's side wheel, puncturing the sidewall, and gouging out a piece of the rim. Obviously, the tire went immediately flat. But if it had to happen, it couldn't have happened at a better place! It turns out that we were less than 5 miles from Muller Acura of Merrillville! A quick tow (provided by Acura) and we were there. Even though it was late Friday afternoon, we were greeted warmly by Amy of Customer Service and Michael, Assistant Manager of Service. I cannot adequately convey the expertise and the caring treatment lavished upon out-of-towners in distress dumped on their doorstep just before the weekend. We were pretty shook up by our near miss that could have easily been far more disastrous! Their genuine concern for us and the attention they afforded us were well above and beyond the call of duty! They told us we needed a new rim and, because SH-AWD models have special, color-coordinated rims, they didn't have one in stock. But then they took it upon themselves to take a tire and rim off a new car, exactly like ours, that they had on their lot so we could be on our way. They even took it upon themselves to contact State Farm and get the claim process started. I haven't even mentioned the amenities in Muller Acura. Waiting areas are especially spacious, clean, comfortable, well-stocked, and technologically up-to-date. Even the service bays were clean. You cannot go wrong dealing with Muller Acura of Merrillville!!! We highly recommend them!

I've bought several different brands of cars from different dealers but an Acura from Muller Acura will be my only choice from now on. Everybody I met was friendly and knowledgeable, and I never felt pressured. Sean was a great salesman and helped me identify the best cars for my needs. Steve almost made filling out the paperwork fun. Muller Acura knows how to treat it's customers and I'm looking forward to seeing them again.

After having a bad experience at my local dealer I decided to take a drive to the dealer I've heard on the radio for years. I definitely was not disappointed as the owner says in his commercial. What a difference. Not only did they give me a great deal, I actually was shown how to work everything on my new car. And I did get to meet the "Muller" in the house too. I plan on using their Saturday service too!

I was very please with the way Paul & Rich helped me. Any questions or doubts I had about the vehicle, they we're there to give me as much information possible. I didn't feel pressured to buy the vehicle and they worked with me as far as staying in my budget. Rich was very knowledgeable about the Acura TLX that I purchased and provided me with a lot of information. I would definitely recommend anyone looking to buy an Acura vehicle to this dealership. Sounds like an oxymoron but it was a no stress experience.Had a hard time deciding which car we wanted. We visited Muller Acura several times and Mark was there to answer our questions, let us drive the car. Look it over many times. After a tragic car accident I did not think I was going to be able to drive my Dream Car again but Muller Acura of Merrillville made it possible! The Customer Service was exceptional and everyone did an A++ job on helping me with everything! I loved the experience and had a wonderful team that made it possible for me to drive my Dream Car again and this time my Dream Car was even better than the last one I had. It was a 6 hour drive to make it there but it was definitely worth the long haul! The dealership ended up staying after business hours and waiting on me to get there and had a smooth transition with getting all my paperwork turned in. There should be a Muller Acura of Merrillville in Wisconsin. We would appreciate a genuine and wonderful team here in Wisconsin. My Dream Car I had purchased was a 2010 Chrysler 300c with a Hemi Built and it was AWD for a great price! Can't beat that anywhere!Thank You Muller Acura Of Merrillville for making my Dream Come True!!!

I had my 2014 MDX serviced at Muller Acura of Merrillville on 23 July 2015. The service manager, Oscar Rivera, was pleasant and very knowledgeable when it came to my vehicle. I am an out of State owner who was just visiting family and needed an oil change after the cross country trip. Oscar made me feel welcome at the dealership - actually treating me better than the dealership service department that I bought my vehicle from. Oscar pointed out two safety recalls for my MDX - one of which was before I even received the recall notice from Acura. He and the assigned service tech, Sean McMahon, also went out of their way to fix an accessory (trailer hitch) that wasn't properly installed. All of the work was performed well and I haven't had any issues. I am extremely happy with my experience at Muller and will look to schedule service with them during my next trip to the area.

We traveled 2 1/2 hours to look at a used van that was posted on their website. The posting said "flawless exterior, free of dents or scratches " and it was a 2014 with only 30k miles. We thought we would be getting a decent deal. However, when we got there we were thoroughly disappointed. The van had 2 places with rust, a place where rust was getting ready to come through, a scratch that was a good 18" long on one of the doors, and a mirror that had a large scuff mark on it. After discussing the van with the salesman we ended up walking out because we couldn't come to an agreed upon price since we felt the van was in a lot poorer shape than advertised. They also only wanted to give us $100 for the trade-in. The car wasn't in great shape but $100 is well below what they should have offered. Consequently, we are glad we did walk out because we went down to Bosak, just a block or so away, and found exactly what we wanted and had a fantastic experience. We definitely would not recommend this dealership. Maybe if we were buying a new Acura they would have treated us better.
