I recently had my daily driver die on me. I was in need of a vehicle and would be forced to get one that weekend. I had talked to other dealer told them what I wanted and what I had to work with. Brandon Mathis told me he had a vehicle that was what I wanted if color wasn't an option. It was perfect. The rest of the team saw how enthusiastic I was about the car so they went to work to make sure I got it. Ben, the finance manager, almost guaranteed me the vehicle. When the manager heard I was in need and had found what I wanted, he worked hard to make sure it was mine.I have bought car from other dealerships, but this was the first time I had a team from the sales person up to the manager go above and beyond to ensure my experience was a pleasant one. Purchased a beautiful truck!

Happy with the vehicle we purchased. Wasn't so happy with our salesman not being there when he said he would be to show/explain the very last details of the truck as told. And thought it was kind of unprofessional of the finance guy to completely rush you out the door without even entertaining the idea of answering your questions after making such a huge purchase.

Experience at MTN View Chevrolet

My sales experience was outstanding. Dean helped me to find a truck and worked with me from early morning until late afternoon to do so. He did not pressure me into anything outside of my price range, but instead worked with me to find my dream truck at a reasonable price. I came away with a vehicle I plan to have for years to come at a very good payment.My finance experience was terrible. After working with Dean for hours to get a price that worked for me, and agreeing to that price, Chris presented me with a figure that was over $100 per month more than I agreed to with the sales department. He was condescending throughout our interaction and tried to pressure me into purchasing a warranty I was not interested in. When I declined the additional warranty coverage that would have put me $5,000 over the vehicle total I had agreed to with Dean, he was dismissive and no longer showed any customer service. Had it not been for Dean's outstanding work throughout the day, I would have walked away from the dealership within a few minutes of being in Chris's office. I understand part of his job is to make the dealership money, but I walked away with a sour taste from the dealership because of my interaction with him. All in all, I would absolutely recommend MTN View Chevrolet. Besides the finance experience at the end, everyone I interacted with was professional and helpful.

Everyone we dealt with were wonderful! We were treated like friends, not just someone who is there to make a purchase. They are very patient and answer any and all questions. Great way to buy a new Equinox

We were greeted warmly when we walked into the dealer showroom and assigned Dean Pavlou as our sales pro. What I really appreciated is the fact that he listened to our needs and determined exactly what we were looking for and did not waste our time. He took us to the vehicle we purchased first which says he knew exactly what we were looking for and listened. He answered all our questions about the Equinox and we decided to purchase immediately. Repairs

I has my truck repaired at Volunteer Chevrolet in Sevierville Tn, they replaced the wheel bearing on left front driver side. Going 70 mph the tie rod arm cam off because they didn't put the bolt back on . I was able to get off the road and get here at Mt View . They put me first in line. Fixed my truck, charged me nothing. Treated me great because I was all to pieces. They are great. God Bless the service dept.

Poor experience

My husband and I went to Mountain View Chevy to look for a family vehicle with certain specifics. Tim and Laney were able to find what we thought was the perfect vehicle for us, although we soon found out some big issues on the car and they didn't stand up to their word that we agreed on when signing the contract. While we sat there, waiting on a price for the vehicle (Wasn't even priced yet), they continued to talk us into purchasing it. My husband and I stated several times that we weren't ready to commit and wanted to leave to talk it over, although they somehow managed to meet all of our needs (So we thought), so we agreed and purchased the car. When talking over the contract, they agreed to do the following: replace windshield, detail/clean car, fix steering wheel flaws, oil change. They stated that the vehicle was being looked over by the mechanics for any issues and they assured us it would be safe to drive. They stated they were also completing the oil change, and getting it cleaned. We sat there at the dealership for about 5 hours, When they finally brought the vehicle to us, we noticed it wasn't cleaned; Tim stated that they could do that when we brought the car back for the repair on the windshield. The next day, my husband checked the oil and he noticed that they didn't even change the oil like they said they would (there was barely any oil in the car). My husband immediately called them, who said to bring the car up the next day for the oil change. They changed the oil, although didn't top fluids off. A few days later we were able to make an appointment to get the windshield replaced and the car detailed/washed. They replaced the windshield like they said they were going to do, although they didn't wash/detail. AGAIN, they said to bring the car back to them another date for the wash/detail. I took the car up there, my husband picked it up only to find crumbs in the floor, sticky stuff in the cup holders....It looked like they only ran it through a car wash. Then my husband had our mechanic look over the engine and rest of car only to find HORRIBLE brakes and a broken transfer case. When we notified the dealership yet AGAIN about the issues, they stated they would look at the brakes, but that is all they could do. They only changed 2 of the 4 brake pads. They were not willing to fix the broken transfer case. We went to this dealership looking for a good working, safe vehicle for our family. I feel like they were nothing but dishonest. They still haven't detailed the car or fixed the steering wheel...and that is after 4 additional trips to the dealership. There are also other issues with the car including a cracked dash, broken defrost cord on back window that they failed to disclose to us. Mountain View Chevy is dishonest and we wont be doing business with them ever again.

Tim Cook sells Colorayado's!!

Tim and the staff was excellent. The deal I received was surprising. I was skeptical about getting the right price, but they worked out some acceptable numbers in no time and I was out the door with my new truck! If you are in the market these guys are worth checking out.

Service air bag light

I called and stated that the service air bag was on and that I was afraid to drive. MTN view service worked me in the next day and had me fixed in 30 minutes.

I could not ask for better service. The length of time taken for service to be completed is the issue. One and half hours to long to wait. It makes it very difficult for me to schedule an appointment due to the time it takes.

Great Service

I went in at the end of the day just to price replacing my rear wiper. Not only did I get the price, but they went and replaced the wiper. While I was waiting, I remembered I needed to replace a key and fob. I asked about getting those ordered and Michael proceeded to find a fob while I was there and ordered a key for me.

Slow!

Went for an oil change and the dealership preformed additional recall services without my prior authorization. End up waiting for 3 hours and missing important work appointments.

From the time I arrived by wrecker with my car after the engine failed, Jamie and everyone in the Service Dept was great to work with. Knowledgeable and friendly as soon as they greet you outside ready to help. Jamie kept me informed as to the progress of my repair and explained the details in language a non mechanical person could understand. After 2 1/2 years of dealing with Mountain View Chevrolet, I recommend them for sales and service.

Amazing service

I didn't purchase my 2016 silverado from Mtn.View but the service dept. Treated me like if I did, even though I was doing a GM warranty service visit. The appointment was set up for the very same day within the hour. Great service, great staff. I was in and out, didnt have to wait long. Everything was hassle free and pain free. Couldnt of been happier. Next vehicle purchase will be from MTN. VIEW for sure.

Friendly dealership

Was greeted by the salesman that was going to tag along for a test drive. Greeted me and showed me my way to the car already running with AC on. A little lacking in the knowledge of specs that the car itself had to give (even if I already knew them it would be nice for them to tell me anyways) Specs I mean safety ratings, any awards it might have won, engine type and why its good etc. Really just anything. But other than that the experience was overall pleasant and for the most part hassle free other than a slight mistake on the paperwork that they quickly remedied. With the trip and process of buying I would say I am satisfied.

Bad communication

I brought my vehicle in for routine service and a check engine light concern. Was only supposed to be in shop for a few hours. A few hours turned into 4 days. The first day I had to call twice and leave two messages for them to call me back. Ended up having to order a part. Second day called twice again before they would tell me what was going on. Finally 3rd day they gave me a rental because now another part was broken and had to be fixed. More than anything they need to work on communication and letting customers know what is going on with their vehicles.

We love our new Suburban!

This is our fourth Suburban and the third purchased from Mtn View Chevrolet, which says a lot. It is always a pleasure doing business with them. I highly recommend this dealership!

My vehicle had to be boosted off, after it was boosted off it wouldn't cut off. I called Mountain View Chevrolet and was able to get my car in to be serviced the next day. The service man kept me informed on what they were doing to my vehicle as they worked on it. I ended up needing a new battery. They were also able to take care of both recalls on my vehicle while it was there.

Taken Totally Advantage Of by Crooked Salesmen

I received a postcard stating that there was a recall on my car. Your service department said that you no longer had the part to repair and suggested that I trade my in. What a grave mistake. I bought an Dodge, Avenger, 2013 and the 2nd day of purchase the engine light came on. I bought it back and until this day the light is still on. I have had numerous repairs and that light will not stay off. It is now drying rough. I do not know what to do. I am 64 years old and female at that. The staff down there is low-down and rotten. Do not trust them if you are an older woman. They may get you too. I hope that business owners like that go down. Just like they are taking me down. Selling me a known lemon.

Always find major problems

I have had my car in on two occasions and on both the service people tried very very hard to get my consent on doing these expensive repairs. One of which had already been done. Prices are very high. I was cobracted about a recall told to make an appointment when I tried I was told the parts had to be ordered and that the repair could not be done without leaving the car all day. Notice said between 1-2 gours.

Horible, they are very disrezpectful to their customers

Mountain View Chevy was a horible experience over 2 hrs for an oil change. I found the staff to be rude, dishonest, spitefull and unprofessional. I will not go back to this dealership to have my car serviced do buisness with them

Check Engine Alert

The check engine light came on in the instrument panel of my 2012 Traverse over the weekend. I called Mtn View Chevrolet by 8:00 AM on Monday morning. The gentleman I talked to in the service dept made me an appointment for 10:30 AM. I was there by 10:00 AM, and by 11:00 AM the problem was solved. The repair was made and I was ready to go in a reasonable amount of time. GREAT SERVICE!

Oil change

Went in for an unscheduled oil change service rep was friendly had my truck in and out in under a hour recommended other service than needs to be done

Not happy

We took our van that we purchased the weekend before to have a whining noise repaired. Was given the keys when I came back and was told nothing about what needed to be done. The car has started another whining noise since and am now told needs brakes, rotors, and such. When we returned home and read the paper they said we declined this service to begin with. We were never told about that to begin with. Now having this car for just 30 days and the brakes were bad before the purchase the sales manager wouldn't work with us to get them changed. Even though in their pre sale inspection, they knew the brakes and rotors were bad. We took it to another mechanic and were told the rotors were fine. Not happy and will not buy another car there. After this being our third car and worst experience yet.

Routine oil change

Quick and friendly service. The customer service was great and the workers did everything I expected and more. I will continue to go there and recommend them to others.

My sales man did not know if he was coming or going he lied so much he contradict him self I have never encountered such horrible service for anything in my life.

Recall Repairs

I brought my car in for a couple of recall repairs that was going to require 2 trips. Kyle was able to get them done in 1 trip. When it took longer than expected he was able to get me in a loaner car until my car was ready. He was very helpful and communicative throughout the whole process. Jessie, the shuttle driver, was very sweet getting me to and from work. They made what could have been a major inconvenience, a pleasure. I would recommend Mtn. View Chevrolet in the future.

Got it done, just not as quickly as expected

I bought the truck with a dent in the bumper, no big deal because GM will replace it. Well it took 4 weeks before I had to make the call to get it replaced, 2 weeks to replace the bumper, and 2 weeks in a base model, double cab silverado rental, while my 4 wheel drive, Z71 Crew cab was having a bumper replaced. I guess I should mention I was told it shouldn't take 2 weeks to have it replaced

Great service and Sales Dept

We just went in to make that famous loop thru the lot and look. Yet the dealership had a great selection so we got out. The salesperson was helpful showing us both used and new cars that fit with our budget. We test drove both the new and used. He explained each one and the benefits and gave us space to make the selection. We never felt pressured. They really worked with us to get us in the car we wanted. We ended up getting a new Tahoe and love it. We will be back for all our future cars. Great service.

Raised price at delivery

I had a new salesman, so after picking all my vehicle options for a new Colorado, he suggested I make the deal directly with the Sales Manager (Russ). The custom order was negotiated and completed in writing. Two and a half months later when the Colorado arrived, $930 was added to the sales price. The Finance Manager (Sean) insisted that I didn't have to take the vehicle if I "wasn't completely satisfied." Well I wasn't satisfied with the way the agreed upon price was altered, nor with the take-it-or-leave-it ultimatum, and I told him so, but paid the extra and took possession anyway. I needed the vehicle by then and I like the product. However, the change of price at the last minute was poor business practice, showed lack of class and integrity, and all potential buyers should beware of this tactic especially if making a custom order.

Bought a used Rav4

Overall our experience was great. We worked with Evin Kelley and he was a great person to go through this process with us. Everything went fine except for one problem. The Rav4 had a cracked windshield of which we were told it would be repaired. After I signed the papers, Lanny (sales manager) came out to tell us he could not replace the windshield since he was already losing money on the sell. I am sorry he lost money on the sell, I am sure that is a rare occurance but he should have instructed his sales people better on what can or can't be repaired/replaced on a vehicle. I still went ahead and purchased the car but was not to satisfied on how the lack of the windshield repair occured.

Easy to deal with and no hassle transaction, No complaints!

While waiting for my car, I received call from my daughter saying my grandson was admitted to the ER and needed emergency care. I have had many cars, but because of the level of service and attention to my needs - I will always drive a Chevy and stay with Mountain View.
