Do not try to buy a car from there!

Customer Service: 1.0 Buying Process: 1.0

I spent 2 hours on a Saturday night buying a car. They had a couple in the other room and they were using us against each other in the buying process. They only went to one bank for my approval ( I have A + Credit). They wanted $5000 down due to being upside down. I said no, I won't do that. They let me walk out after I told them to keep checking other banks. They didn't go to any other banks and sold the car out from under me...after we had a written agreement. Obviously they were making more money off the other couple and did not care or even try to really sell the car to me. They just wanted the better deal they were getting from the other couple. When they called to tell me they sold the car to the other couple I asked them why they didn't continue going to other banks to lower the down payment they said they just didn't because they sold the car . That is horrible business! We had a written agreement and they did not keep their end of the bargain. Do not go there!

Don, Nate and the rest of the staff did an extraordinary job, as always! They have kept my 10 year GTI, which I bought new, functioning as new. This is great peace of mind since I have a 6 year old in the vehicle with me most of the time, and to know from a reliability and safety point of view I don't have to worry.

We went in to the service department because all of the lights were on in the car and it was leaking oil. First off they had the car for four days and didn't really work on it until the second night after the warranty place was closed. Didn't offer us a car until I complained about how long they had our car and how we needed a second car and that was on the last day they had it. Then they supposedly had to have this part that needed replaced but the warranty wouldn't pay for it, I had to call the dealership that we bought it from and then they were able to get it replaced. We had another mechanic tell us there shouldn't have been a reason to replace it but we went ahead and did. Now we go into to get the oil changed a month later and they tell us the car is bone dry and has no oil in it, so they never fixed the real problem and had the warranty pay for something that didn't even need replaced. The man doing changing the oil found what was causing the leak and the oil cap had been stripped because it's made out of cheap aluminum. This wasn't our first problem with them, the last time they supposedly fixed the backup camera and it still doesn't work. I would never recommend this place. They don't fix anything and we will never buy a Volkswagen again.

I am giving the highest rating to the Service department. (I have no experience with sales etc)They are prompt, friendly and professional. I have never felt that I am being overcharged or "taken for a ride". The waiting area is clean and pleasant. But again, most importantly the service attendants (Shaquille Wilson) in particular, during my last visit in, was professional, caring and seemed to take real interest in providing good care to me and my Bug. You hear so many awful stories about taking a car to the "dealer" for service. I can happily say, Molle VW is braking that stereotype.

We purchased this car over the phone, from a different state, and the sales rep Richard and sales manager Tommy made it happen in record time. We live out of state and our daughter was living in Kansas City and had her car stollen and totaled. We went to two car dealerships in our home state and spent over 2 hours at each dealership while we went back and forth on the price and how it could be financed. I just wanted the out the door price and each time there was some kind of hidden surprise at the end of the discussion. This didn't happen with Molle Volkswagon. I was on the phone for no more than 10 minutes each time we talked and they told me the price and there were no surprises at the end. They did what they said they would do and they did it very quickly! I was so discouraged after the hours spent with the dealerships in our home state and theses guys were great! It was suc an easy process! Thank you for respecting my time and being honest. - Susan G.

My 2006 beetle convertible is my pride and joy...I bought it new at a vw dealership in Michigan, and when I moved to MO in 2007, I was really lucky to find VW Molle in Kansas City. I truly believe they love my beetle as much as I do! I deal mostly with Nathan Parker. But the rest of the service staff (Chase and Jake and Shaquille, who I've worked with) are also very nice, competent, and accommodating. I totally trust their expertise...if they tell me something needs to be done, I believe it. if they tell me I can wait to do have something fixed, I follow their advice. My beetle has 135,000+ miles on it, I keep expecting things to go wrong, but so far it is holding up remarkably well, and I think it's because of the TLC the mechanics provide. I do make sure to get all the recommended service checks and have since I bought it.In addition, the service staff, always make sure I know that they value my time and comfort while I'm at the dealership. And vehicles are always offered when a longer service is required.

I bought my GTi 10 years ago, and these folks, Nathan Parker in particular and crew, have kept me in top running condition ever since. Now I don't habe to go to the dealer to get my oil changed but I do, why, because they know what they're doing, they use VW parts, the best oil and they look the whole car over and let me know if something else needs attention, and let's face it, getting your car back looking better than when you brought it in is a bonus too! I tell everyone intersted in a VW or just service to go there. Thanks Molle!

I had a bad experience with this dealer several months ago and wrote a bad review based on my experience. They really wanted to make it up to me and gave me two free oil changes and told me my next visit would be worth my while and apologized for the unpleasant experience. My car recently broke down and I decided to give them another chance and I can say I AM GLAD I DID! Nathan Parker in the service dept was very helpful with telling me what was wrong with my vehicle. Unfortunately my car needed a lot work done to it, so I am just trading it in. Nathan offered to let me keep my loaner car until I was able to pick my car up from them which was about 2-3 days (this helped me out a lot since I didn't have transportation to work). Nathan also didn't charge us for the diagnosis. I was very pleased and if I ever buy anther VW, I will definitely purchase from them and get my car serviced at there service dept.

Service ManagerMolle VWKC, MODear Sir or Madam,I wish to strongly commend your parts man, Bryan (did not catch his last name). I came to him frustrated because I had lost the tool that allows removal of the anti-theft wheel bolts and could not take a wheel off. I wanted to buy only the tool but, as it is more and more common, the manufacturers sell only a set, which offers the obvious benefit of extracting the largest amount of money from the customer. Bryan, however, cleverly offered an option that I, instead, buy four regular lug bolts at a significantly cheaper price. However, Bryan even went beyond the call and told me to bring the car into the garage offering to personally remove the special bolts and replace them with the new ones, which he proceeded to do. It did not take him long and in no time I was on my way thanks to him. I no longer find helpful, competent assistance and a focus on customer service such as embodied by Bryan. I wish to thank him for his valuable help and let you know what a positive asset he is to your organization. He is definitely a "keeper". Please, express my thanks to him.

Went in with my dad about a month ago hoping to look at the Golf. Prior to buying my Golf, I drove a Honda Fit; I was reluctant to switch cars, as there was nothing wrong with my car and I liked so much about it (e.g. great gas mileage, small size, easy maintenance). After the test drive, I was convinced--I was ready to switch. Andrew helped us navigate the mountain of paperwork and Kevin was clutch with the financing piece. All in all, it was an easy process and I'm happily driving my first ever brand new car!

I was very happy with the experience that I had buying our 2013 Passat. Our salesman, Scott, listen to me and DID NOT pressure me (or us) to buy ANY car. He said that the car has to fit the person and the person has to like what they buy or they will be unhappy with their experience. I test drove one vehicle, but it wasn't exactly what I wanted. We looked at another vehicle, and, it just so happens, THAT was the vehicle that met all of our criteria (comfortable seating, good gas mileage, and big truck space). It is wonderful. At NO TIME was I pushed or felt pressured to buy or look at any other vehicle. I was very pleased with my experience!

Not sure if this is what the owner expected

0
Chris on 01/21/2014

Just thought I would inform you folks of my experience today. Oh, can I preface this with the fact that I have owned 12 VW's In my life and purchased 2 vehicles from your business in the last year. As a Christmas gift I purchased my daughter a remote starter for her brand new Jetta which we purchased from your dealership. It was to be installed yesterday from a third party business - and they had trouble reading the chip which is now part of the key. The installer said the housing seemed to be to thick - a valet key would be perfect. So, this morning at 9 am I called Mollie Volkswagen- I am always in a cheerful mood and when your receptionist answered the phone - with a half hearted greeting - I said Good morning! I heard really nothing for about 5 seconds then, she asked who do you want to speak to. Wow. So, I informed her of my situation and all she said was - parts. OK - then parts answered the phone - again cheerfully, I said good morning! No real response other then a name - could have been Steve - I explained the need for a valet key - he said he needed a vin number - I read the number off the white new tag key chain given to us - he said, that means nothing. ? "What is you name" ? I told him of that - he said hold one. I was placed on hold. He did finally come back to inform me that we don't get a valet key for the car? OK - so, I called my daughter and got the number of the installer - he said strange - but, let's try a new key. I called again, same receptionist - she did her Mollie thing - I asked for parts and - I was transferred (she said nothing) just transferred me. Steve in parts answered again - with as much energy as to blow out a candle - I felt like I was interfering with his morning by asking him to get information about obtaining a new key. His first comment was - we need payment in advance. He put me on hold. Came back - the key needs to be paid in advance (again the first thing out of his mouth) it takes 2 to 3 days to get it is 135 bucks and we charge 100 to reprogram. I said wow - thanks. Thought you might want to share this contact with your staff in your new building.

I went in for a repair because I smelled gas when the car was shut off, but no leaking. I don't do rodeo stunts, hill hopping, or anything else crazy with the car except drive it in Kansas City traffic as they began to infer later. Nathan Parker is the Service Rep I dealt with. Nathan Parker was crude, rude, disrespectful and right down nasty at every turn. They did a code check and it came up with P0456 and a smoke test, and the only area of trouble they could see was the leaking around the O ring. (His faked notes said O ring, collar, and fuel pump, and that's just one bogus part of this whole nightmare.) O ring would need to be ordered and it would run about $340 but he said he could do better than that and eventually quoted $295 with a coupon. So why would you order just the O ring if the collar and fuel pump really needed to be ordered, too, unless he's lying about the details on the invoice? Nothing was said about any other part having a problem. He estimated that the car would be ready around 2pm on Tuesday, and I told him I could wait a little while and be late for work since I would be getting my car back that day and not have to wait any longer. He told me he would give me the loaner, all I would need to do is sign a paper and be on my way and see them Tuesday. He then didn't come back for a whole other hour. I finally went to the service area. He said he had been busy helping other customers more important than me! Really?! On Tuesday, I called him at 2 pm since he had not called me by that time. His first nasty remark was, "Shouldn't you be at work right now?" It was not said nicely and out of genuine concern, it was said like someone berating their child for not going to sleep on time. I was still nice and said I was willing to wait if the car would be ready soon. He said the car was fighting them getting the collar off because it had seized and that they would try soaking it in lubricants. So therefore, go to work and I would see them Wednesday since I work a late shift. At no time did they say the collar was cracked, the fuel pump was bad, or that the fuel tank was deformed. At no time did I authorize them to "crack the collar" or damage or remove anything else on the car that I would now have to pay for. He called me back on Tuesday evening while I was at work, leaving a voice mail to say that they had to crack the collar to get it off and therefore get a new part and it wouldn't be in on Wednesday but on Thursday. He said in a very nasty tone of voice, "And you can forget about getting your car on Wednesday, too." I could even hear the sneer in his voice over the phone. It reminded me of the Wicked Witch of the West's line, "And your little dog, too!" I then called him from work when I had a break. He said he would have to order a new collar and that I would arrive on Thursday. I told him I would pick the car up on Friday early when they open, then. The price was still confirmed at $295. He then called me at home on Thursday around 2:30 pm to say they weren't able to get the collar on due to the fuel pump being broken and the fuel tank being warped and deformed and it would cost me $2350. I went through the roof! I asked if they didn't see that already when the collar was snapped on Tuesday. He said no. Really? How can you NOT see it? His story on Thursday was now completely different than the chronology. He said he had to order two collars because he thought the one he ordered on Tuesday was wrong. When did THAT happen? Good question!! That's when I went with my son to pick up the car, refusing to have them touch it again. It was towed and repaired elsewhere at no where near the price they quoted. And guess what, the gas tank was NOT deformed! The other place did see where the mechanics had torn up the car to repair it. There was no way simple wear and tear could have done it. The entire Molle complex needs to be out of business, and I hope very soon.

I went in for a repair because I smelled gas when the car was shut off, but no leaking. This is a ten year old car, 70K miles, and greatly loved by me. I don't do rodeo stunts, hill hopping, or anything else crazy with the car except drive it in Kansas City traffic as they began to infer later. I assumed that the gas was just aerosolized from a small leak, so I made an appointment on Friday with Tom and took the car in on Monday, having not driven it around. Nathan Parker is the Service Rep I dealt with. I was expecting to deal with Tom, since I had always done so in the ten years I had been bringing my car to the dealership. Nathan Parker was crude, rude, disrespectful and right down nasty at every turn. I had never dealt with him before, and I had always dealt with Tom, as he was nice and soft spoken. It worried me that I wasn't given Tom this time. I should have known it wasn't going to be a simple repair from the get-go. They did a code check and it came up with P0456 and a smoke test, and the only area of trouble they could see was the leaking around the O ring. (His faked notes say O ring, collar, and fuel pump, and thats just one bogus part of this whole nightmare.) He advised that the O ring would need to be ordered and it would run about $340 but he said he could do better than that and eventually quoted $295 with a coupon. So why would you order just the O ring if the collar and fuel pump really needed to be ordered, too, unless hes lying about the details on the invoice? Nothing was said about any other part having a problem. He estimated that the car would be ready around 2pm on Tuesday, and I told him I could wait a little while and be late for work since I would be getting my car back that day and not have to wait any longer. Nathan told me he would give me the loaner, all I would need to do is sign a paper and be on my way and see them Tuesday. He then didn't come back for a whole other hour while I waited patiently, not getting any sleep and going in to a ten hour shift later that night. I finally went to the service area and spotted Tom, who got Nate for me. Nate said he had been busy helping other customers more important than me! Really?! I should have walked off the lot then with my car towed back home and dialing another place to have her repaired!!!!! But I was half asleep as 9am in the morning is my bedtime, since I sleep days and work nights. My normal wake up time is 12:30 pm as I need to be to work at 2:30 pm and get off at 1 am.On Tuesday, I called him at 2 pm since he had not called me by that time. Nathan's first nasty remark was, "Shouldn't you be at work right now?" It was not said nicely and out of genuine concern, it was said like someone berating their child for not going to sleep on time. I was still nice and said I was willing to wait if the car would be ready soon. He said the VW was fighting them getting the collar off because it had seized and that they would try soaking it in lubricants to get it off. So therefore, go to work and I would see them Wednesday, since I don't get home until 1 am. At no time did they say the collar was cracked, the fuel pump was bad, or that the fuel tank was deformed. At no time did I authorize them to "crack the collar" or damage or remove anything else on the car that I would now have to pay for.He called me back on Tuesday evening while I was at work, leaving a voicemail to say that they had to crack the collar to get it off and therefore get a new part and it wouldn't be in on Wednesday but on Thursday. (I have a record of that message where he said, "And you can forget about getting your car on Wednesday, too." Once again, said in a very nasty tone of voice. I could even hear the sneer in his voice over the phone. It reminded me of the Wicked Witch of the West's line, "And your little dog, too!") Once again, I was patient and nice. I just wanted my car back in one piece, not pieces. I then called him from work when I had a break. He said he would have to order a new collar and that I would arrive on Thursday. I told him I would pick the car up on Friday early when they open, then. The price was still confirmed at $295.Nate then called me at home on Thursday around 2:30 pm to they said that they weren't able to get the collar on due to the fuel pump being broken and the fuel tank being warped and deformed and it would cost me $2350. I asked if they didn't see that already when the collar was snapped on Tuesday. He said no. Really? How can you NOT see it? Remember nothing was said about anything else on the car before then.At this point, what he even said on the phone didnt square with what he put on the final invoice at all. We even did a total review of what happened so far on the phone, and his story on Thursday was now completely different than the chronology. He said he had to order two collars because he thought the one he ordered on Tuesday was wrong. When did THAT happen? Good question!! He claimed that weathering and excessive temperatures had done the damage, not them. He said more than once that the damage was done recently, and I said I had not been in an accident ever with the car, not had a recent "bump" or whatever he was trying to intimidate. I asked him about how often this would happen to a VW. He said it was rare that this happens under normal conditions. So I conclude that the damage was done in the shop to make it not drivable without extensive repairs being done. After all, I had been allowed to borrow their free advertisement car for a few days for free while they screw around, uh, repair the car.As soon as I could, I went to the bank to get my title, and I went to the dealership with my son. I told him to take the car as you have clearly broken it and he refused to do so. He didn't want it because they would have to make full disclosure or at least keep the records of what they did for the next person who purchased it, but he didn't tell me that. He just told me to have it towed and sell it. I told him I couldn't have a non running car on my apartment lot as they would impound the car, and the car, in its unrepaired state, was not sellable or drivable and I could be evicted from the complex. I called AAA from the dealership and they refused to take the car with a full gas tank with no real cover to it that could slosh all over the interior of the car even though that's exactly what he wanted me to have them do after they broke everything else they could on her.The invoice notes that he typed in do not square with what he told me either in person or over the phone. He claims I was told a lot of stuff I was not. It also doesn't show the estimates given, the parts being ordered, the time spent, or anything. It is all zeroed out. I asked for the time sheets and the full report of what has happened besides the lies he typed in. He said he couldn't give it to me since everything was zeroed out. I said that someone else would get it then, thinking about a lawyer. He then got very irate and said that no one was getting the time sheets and full report of what happened. Why such the fuss if there was nothing to hide? What a way to cover your butt! Just erase the evidence! He had given me a loaner with Molle VW Courtesy Car written on the back. That was the only courtesy I got out of the whole deal.Nathan Parker had a smirk on his face and in his voice every time he told me something. Not a good sign at all. Not good customer service at all; even if you have to give someone bad news, you don't do it with a sneer. Even my son thought Nathan talked to me disrespectfully. He should be fired and the dealership should be shut down. I will never return to them nor recommend them. In fact, Nathan said he never wanted to see me again and I'm not welcome at HIS dealership anymore. Since when was it his dealership? He just works there! I said no problem. As I left, I wished him (and now the dealership) all the worst in the world. And I told him that was the nicest thing I could say to him personally, and believe me, it was.My son thinks he can find someone to fix it, not a dealership. My son will attempt to get the car towed to his home around 9am tomorrow after the gas tank is emptied and hopefully no more parts jacked up, free of charge and the now broken parts are placed as well as they can be in the car. This means he will be taking me to and from work for a while, and his schedule is tight, but that is what he wants to do. He said he never felt that Molle VW was being very good to me, either, due to their high prices on previous trips. Molle VW just wants the car off their lot!! Why is that?! I told him if it costs too much to repair at a good place (over the still now estimated $2350 of which I will pay him back), then we will sell it as is, or at worst case donate it. At least mercifully it will be drained of a full tank of gas.I am ready to donate the car and call it a day.

Marty was a true pleasure to work with! We were in the area to do some shopping in Kansas City for the weekend. My husband and I had been looking at the CC in Nebraska. Out dealer did not have the CC Lux on his lot for me to test drive. We thought maybe a VW dealer in the KC area would have one. I made a quick call to Molle dealer and was connected with Marty. I asked if he had a CC Lux on the lot and if we could test drive one. He said, sure come on over. When we arrived he had it washed and ready for us to take out for a spin. We started asking questions about various things...quality, reliability, etc.. We also shared our situation and where we were from. This never stopped Marty from spending time with us, taking the time to answer questions for us, and most importantly providing us with info we did not even ask for.We pretty much had already decided that we were going to get a CC but as soon as we had visited with Marty, we knew this was the car for us! Even though we did not buy our car from Marty at Molle, since we live 4 hours away, I would 100% recommend this dealer and Marty.I know he did not get a sale out of our visit this past weekend, but his honest and personable approach was very appreciated. We truly enjoyed meeting him and the positive experience he gave us. If we ever move or have friends move to the KC area, we will be sure to pass his name along for when they are in need of a new vehicle. I can attest that he is a joy to work with and he is a big reason, that we did decide on the CC.

The customer service was great. I went to other dealerships to look at different cars, and the car and the customer service brought me back to Molle after my week of car shopping. Jack Nelson was great to work with. He answered all of my questions and was not pushy when trying to earn my business. He did follow up with me after my two test drives, but never bothered me about coming back into the dealership to "re-work" the numbers. His friendly and laid back approach made me want to buy a car from him. It's not often in the car business you get to deal with someone like Jack, but I was lucky enough to do so and consider him a very genuine, down-to-earth individual who truly wants to help people buy a car. I would recommend Molle VW to anyone who is interested in getting a great vehicle and buying it from a high integrity dealership.

We went into Volkswagen only wanting to test drive the 2013 Passat. We met Ronie within 2 minutes of walking in to the dealership and I was behind the wheel in no time (after we found which car most closely matched what I was looking for). She was very knowledgeable and upon finding that the there wasn't a car on their lot that I wanted, she checked the next truck that was coming in to their dealership to see if there was something there I wanted. They gave me a fantastic price and didn't try to sell me on all the extra options/packages which I really appreciated. The next day, I hit a deer and had to have a statement written from Troy in the finance department to give to my insurance company - they were so great with customer service and even this process was painless! We will be shopping here for our Volkswagens in the future and we highly recommend them & Ronie!

David from Molle contacted me as my lease was expiring. He had sales consultant Ronie, a Volkswagen certified master, contact me to schedule an appointment to come in to look at cars. This was my second car purchase from Molle, so I was familiar with the dealership. Ronie made the experience easy and simple in purchasing my new car! She went through all of the awesome gadgets throughout the car. She also stated to contact her anytime for any questions or if I need to schedule my car for its scheduled maintenance. The process was simple, easy, and I'm driving my new car! Thanks again Molle, and a special thanks to David, Ronie and Troy!

I fell in love with one and had to have it. Ronie made the whole process so easy and simple. She was extremely knowledgable about the car in which she went over everything with me. She even told me that I had any further questions to give her a call. Everyone there that I met at the Molle was very friendly. This was my second car from Molle and you better believe I'm going back for a third one. A special thanks to David, Ronie, and Troy!

I felt very comfortable and confident with the Molle team I worked with. I have purchased 8 cars in the last 11 years and this experience was hands down the easiest. Thanks fellas!

The car I wanted was not available at this location, but they were able to quickly secure what I wanted, have it transported, detailed, financial paperwork completed and we were ready for pickup within 48 hours. Unbelievable and easy. The sales staff was very friendly, knowledgable and made my experience just perfect. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone.

STAY AWAY! If you care at all about your VW or Audi, please do NOT go to Molle! I had seen the many negative reviews online about these people, but had no idea just how bad they really are. I was naive enough to believe that their service department is in business to repair vehicles and provide honest friendly service. Nope, not Molle. The people are incompetent, their service is the WORST, most of the service writers are rude and unfriendly -- and for the coup de grace, they actually DAMAGED our car! Whether intentionally (i.e., trying to generate a big fat service repair claim) or through ignorance (i.e., we actually do not know how to drive your car), these people burned out the clutch in our car. After they'd had our car for an extended period (and they never fixed the original problem, but that's another story), I picked it up and noticed a terrible burning smell right away as soon as we arrived at home. I have been driving vehicles with manual transmissions for 40 years, have never had to replace a clutch, yet the people at Molle managed to burn out our clutch. No joke. We immediately took it to another VW dealer (a reputable dealer, unlike Molle), who said that our clutch had been burned out, and it had to be replaced. Please: Go to another dealer, go to another repair shop...just do NOT go to Molle. Friends, you have been warned.

Molle VW sales staff was excellent to me. It's a shame that it's all down hill from there though...the service dept. is horrible. This past week I had a CEL pop up and being an enthusiast I was able to use software to diagnose it as a fuel pressure issue so going in I knew that it was either a sensor or the high pressure fuel pump. I sent the SA the scan of my fault code so they knew what was wrong. They said no problem, it's probably a really simple fix. I brought my GTI in and waited about 2.5 hours for the SA meathead to come out and lie to my face that they could not communicate with my ECU due to my APR tune. They "could not go any further" he said until I flashed back to stock tune. I knew this was a complete lie as I am able to communicate with my ECU with my laptop!!! They wouldn't budge and said they would absolutely not repair my car under warranty... Keep in mind that VW has a huge following in the tuner/enthusiast community and for many years they have embraced this culture. APR tuning works directly with VW racing and is respected around the world. Some VW dealers even offer APR tuning on site! Molle chose to treat me like a second class citizen and like a moron (I knew the SA was lying as the lies left his mouth). I found a much more understanding and helpful dealership just a few min. to the west in Olathe KS who confirmed that Molle was lying to me. They had no problem at all communicating with my ECU and repairing my car under warranty after they simply contacted VW of America. VW enthusiasts AVOID MOLLE LIKE THE PLAGUE. It's really a shame since the sales dept. is top notch. I would also love to buy an Audi in the next two years but this experience has ended that plan unless KC happens to get a new Audi dealer. I wouldn't buy an air freshener from Molle

I have dealt with this dealership ever since I bought my car from them and despite the fact that I have spent nearly $1,000 on service in that time they refuse to give me the respect and common courtesy you would expect as a customer. Dealership was less than respectful to myself and on numerous occasions the service advisers have completely ignored my questions and inquiries. Why would anyone ever want to deal with a dealership that doesn't respect the paying customers?

Recently took my VW in for service. Was initially told that I had an issue that would have been covered under the warranty...then two days later told that it was just a hose. $650 later I took my car home to find it throwing up fluids, the same fluids that were escaping when I had it towed to them. Needless to say I was not happy. The car went back and was told that the flange must have been broken when they replaced the hose. Interesting because that is what they initially told me was wrong with it. When I questioned them about this, they basically called me a liar. Not only did they insult me but the service guy walked away from me and closed his door. I will never take my car back to them again. I tried to make an appointment to bring in my 2010 VW (the AC had stopped functioning). The two service reps I spoke with were both rude and dismissive to me on the phone. I tried to make an appointment for (any) Saturday and was basically told, "Nope, you're out of luck, we only do oil changes on Saturdays." He would not give me a loaner car (for what will likely be a time-consuming fix). He was not the least apologetic or understanding. The only alternative was to leave the car with them on a Saturday, allowing them to "maybe get to it." I hung up and called Bud Brown Volkswagen. The man on the phone was nice, apologetic, and offered a loaner car without me having to ask for one. A world of difference. I'll never go back to Molle.

When our original Volkswagen dealer went away, we were stuck having to drive across town to Molle for service. Mostly these service trips were for basic scheduled maintenance, but once was for a more serious issue. The dealership, itself, is pretty inconvenient to get to, and the waiting area is tiny and cramped (though they are moving soon, I think). The part I like least about Molle is the feeling of being just a number and not very important. They cut you off when you are trying to describe your issue, they do not explain things well, and you get the feeling they've overbooked service appointments. So you wait, wait, wait (no loaner cars, here!).Fortunately, we now have the option of another VW dealer in town that provides much better service and has better customer focus.
