Helpful and Accommodating Every Step of the Way

I live 1 hour away from this dealership and have several closer to me. I was shopping for an A3. I visited some of the local to me dealers and left less than impressed. One of them repeatedly recontacted me under the belief I was looking for a Q3 after I had visited them, test drove and discussed the A3...not on the ball. I came across Mohegan Lake b/c they were advertising a specific, gently used vehicle that appealed to me. The service was impeccable, everyone is extremely friendly, and you feel as if you're special. There is also a feeling that there is no B/S going on, a rarity unfortunately with car dealerships. Mohegan got my business. In fact, I'll probably drive the extra distance whenever service is needed b/c I like these people. Great service gets rewarded.

They could give lessons in customer service.

My son works long hours, so I took a young friend who knows cars and visited three Audi dealers in one day in search of a good used car for him. For his driving style and commuting requirements, we chose an Audi A6 to investigate.Internet systems are clunky. Somebody answers you, but somebody else greets you at the door. This dealership did that also, but the sales staff knew that I was coming, was prepared for me, and filled me in on the history and condition of the vehicle.The two other dealers were bored and indifferent, and I got the sense that they did not care, one salesperson did not have answers on the car, etc etc.Ron was the opposite of indifferent, and consistently polite and informative.We liked the car, soon put a deposit on it, and Ron drove it to CT so my son could see and drive it in a timely manner.They got the business, my son got the car.

Excellent Service with a Smile

First time I walked out of a car dealership feeling good. Alfonso was straight forward and gave me his best price from the beginning. No need to haggle. He did not try to upsell. In fact he talked me out of unnecessary expensive accessories. He emailed me with updates and returned my phone calls promptly. I highly recommend Alfonso as your future Audi Salesperson.

Easy Transaction

I've never purchase a car online so I was a bit leery when I found one at this dealership (400 miles away from me). Greg did a good job helping me feel comfortable with the quality of the vehicle and even offered to prepare and send a video of the car. Once I decided to buy it, Greg laid out the logistics and delivered on each step. The car made it to my house really fast and the whole thing was just easy. In this day and age it is strange and unusual when people actually do what they say they are going to do. Greg did that. Enis Nikocevic also pitched in when Greg was not available. I would recommend Greg and this dealership.

Outstanding Sales Experience & Zero Pushy Salespeople

Recently purchased a 2016 A3 from Anthony and was very impressed with the sales experience at this dealership. I had come in a number of times before and worked out numbers with Anthony and he was always patient and willing to go through what seemed like an endless amount of vehicles. He helped me to find something that surprisingly came in under budget and was way better than what I thought I would walk out with. Not only did he stay past their posted closing time so I could come pick up the car, but he also did a very thorough rundown of all of the features of MMI and gave us some free hats and a key lanyard. My friend Jessie recommended that I visit this dealership because of their customer service and now I'll be recommending Anthony and Mohegan Lake Audi to everyone I know. I had a time constraint since I was searching for a replacement vehicle. The vehicle I wanted had 99% of what I wanted on my wish list, within my price range. Still early in the dealership experience, but everyone I've met there has been nice to deal with, which counts a lot. The sale went smoothly and their price was fair. Most friendly and effortless car buying experience! We were looking for an Audi Allroad and knew what we wanted. Contacted Mohegan Lake (amongst 4 other dealers) by email and got a quick response. They were easy to deal with and we made an appointment to see the car. Less than 30 minutes later we walked out with a deal that we liked and picked the car up the next day. Everyone we dealt with, mostly Alfonso, -- but also Gabby and Jeff -- were friendly and responsive. Even though we live just across the state border in CT, this will become our Audi dealer of choice. Alfonso was knowledgeable, (a) knew which rebates and discounts could apply, (b) did not push us towards a different car, (c) really made it seem effortless to complete the transaction (which is rare!).

Customer First.....

I contacted 3 dealers on a Friday night by email inquiring about purchasing a car from them that weekend. Alfonso was on the phone with me by 10am on Saturday morning. He let me know that the car I was interested in had a deposit on it and presented me with multiple options. He called me back that afternoon with a list of cars that met my criteria and gave me an evaluation of each car. We agreed to talk Monday morning. We spoke briefly about Monday morning and I narrowed my list to 4 cars which I would look at that afternoon. When I arrived all the cars were ready to be looked at and I purchased that afternoon. Alfonso made sure everything was correct on the car when I picked it up and all paper work was correct and prepared with no changes or questions. He is a total professional and has followed up since my purchase to make sure all was ok and to see if I had any questions on the technology in the car.

First time buyer, but not the last

Greg was extremely helpful as we were looking to upgrade from a VW Beetle to something a little more grown up. It was evident that he knew the Audi inside and out, but was careful to explain the details without the sales pitch. He let the product speak for itself. I was also impressed by the way we were treated even though we were buying CPO and not a brand new vehicle. This made no difference. We were treated with respect. When it came time to finalize the deal, Greg worked with us to make sure it was a win-win situation. In the end, we got an excellently maintained Audi A5 at a reasonable price and were fairly compensated for our trade-in. And when our bank check was delayed, the dealership simply gave us a loaner for the weekend. Talk about service.

First Visit, First Audi

We met Greg Dougall on our first exploratory visit and a couple hours later we had our first Audi. Greg was calm, knowledgeable and had a great handle on a pretty extensive line of used Audis. How to survive the total destruction of your car

We did not plan to replace our car for another 5 years at least. We loved the car and had JUST finished paying to off.Then the electrical system went berserk and the car was written off. Mohegan Lake Audi was terrific. Not only were they sympathetic with my initial panic when the car acted possessed, they "held my hand" though the entire insurance process. They even let me keep the repair loaner while I sorted out what to do next. As we started the sales process, we had a vague idea of what we wanted, but I had not done any real research yet, something I always do before a major purchase. We sat down with Alfonso, and he listened to what we thought we were looking for, but also observed how we got in and out of a car, how we adjusted to the interior of a car, and how I drove, and made some suggestions that resulted in a different direction altogether, but one that makes more sense for us and we are much happier with.Mohegan Lake and especially Alfonso, THANK YOU!

Great Salesman, Great Dealership

This is my 3rd car I purchased at Mohegan Lake Audi and the second with Alphonso Ruggeiro and have had such a great experience that I don't even shop around when I need a car I just call or stop by and I know that I'm getting a good deal and a wonderful purchasing experience. I originally was looking for a sedan and after speaking to Alphonso and telling him I have a bad back he suggested the Q5. I test drove it and loved and bought it last year. Unfortunately for me my daughter also loved it so this year I went a little bigger and got the 2017 Q7 and I LOVE it! I contacted Alphonso on Tues that I wanted to test drive one, they didn't have it on the lot but got it in on Thursday- I drove it, loved it and picked it up on Friday- the whole experience was very fast and easy.

I had purchased an Audi many years ago at Mohegan and always had a good experience so when it was time for a new car I headed back there. Worked with Alfonso who was nice, knowledgeable and generally a fun guy to deal with. No pressure, low key and helpful. I leased y new A4 on the spot having done some research before. Don't buy here

I attempted to buy a new A3 cab from these people. Something went wrong and they delayed pickup for a week' Despite buying 5 cars from them, they all of a sudden didn't want my personal check. They took it 5 times before with no problem. Chuck Riechal, the sale mgr. was rude, abusive, and changed the terms of sale too many times. Barry, the owner would not return my calls. This is how they treat a loyal customer. I can't imagine how they would trat someone who hasn't spent over $250K the last 15 yrs.

2014 Q5

Ron made my car-buying experience quick, relaxing and seamless. He handled everything from start to finish and allowed me to drive off with all paperwork buttoned up and no regrets. He was fair in the negotiating process and worked hard to secure a payment structure that worked for me. Excellent customer service with zero stress or pressure

I stumbled into this dealership purely by chance which turned out to be a great experience.My family has leased 6 Audis from the Palisades dealership same salesman Paul each time.I had a rough personal year and went way over my miles. I called to discuss with Paul to see if he could work with me . I was offered basically nothing for being a loyal customer except "good luck out there make sure you read the lease carefully" . As luck would have it the engine light went on and said to go to nearest Audi dealership which turned out to be Mohegan Audi . I was waiting in the service area while my car was being checked. The service tech Mike was very nice while I was telling him my story and said maybe I should talk to one of the salesmen there. Enters Alfonso Ruggeiro who could not have been nicer and really tried to work with my situation.He offered me a very fair deal on leasing a 2017 A4 he made the experience completely stress free and offered and explained various options. When I picked up my new car they have a specialist Greg sit with you and very patiently and thoroughly go over all the new features. It pays to stay local

Lease on my current Audi was ending. I had leased two previous Audis from a dealer in NJ because of a contact a friend had there. I live 15 minutes from Mohegan Lake Audi. Stopped by to see the new A4. After a test drive with Ron I knew it was the next Audi I wanted to lease. I already had a quote from my former dealer. Without knowing the quote Ron spoke with his manager and beat that quote by $50.00 a month. I told him I needed some time to think about it, but would get back to him that day. Ron did not pressure me to close the deal immediately. After a not so pleasant phone conversation with my NJ salesman, I called Ron and went back the same day to lease my new A4, at an additional savings of $23.00 a month. A very pleasant experience. I would recommend Mohegan Lake Audi and Ron to anyone looking to purchase or lease an Audi. Proof that it often pays to stay local.

Smaller Dealership. Better Customer Service.

My wife and I were in need of a new car. This would be our 6th Audi. We decided to do our legwork on the Internet rather than waist time driving to dealerships. The dealer we were using, in Bergen County, was not receptive or responsive to our needs. One email to Mohegan Lake AUDI, and we were responded to via email, which was by my choice. They never tried to contact me on the phone. I appreciated that. Alfonso was quick to respond and upfront with all the possibilities that fit our criteria. He was EXCELLENT. I've never had an easier car buying experience. One man, one desk, very accommodating. I feel like if I asked him to deliver the car to my house and pick up milk and eggs he would've said "sure!" I always wanted an Audi A5. When.i was looking at local dealership I first contacted Ron because of an online add I'd seen for one of his dealerships A5s. Ron was polite, honest and upfront from the start. There was never any pressure to buy, and for the first time ever I really felt like a car salesman was on my side. The first car I looked at we couldn't make a deal on, but to my surprise Ron soon followed up with me on another A5 that had recently become available, and better suited my needs. Terrible dissapointment - Horrible Experience

Six years ago we purchased a 2008 CPO Audi A6/S6 model with 20K miles from Mohegan Lake Audi (MLA) for $32,000. We financed through our bank so the dealer got their check on the spot while we are still paying for the car. The car now has 80K mi and the timing chain is about to break. No warning lights at all and the problem wasn't detected 3 weeks ago when the car was there for regular service. MLA has refused to do anything while knowing this is a known problem with this model year car (we found out through a 3rd party). Audi USA lead us to believe they would work with us but after a week and a half of waiting and 3 calls they said, no can't help you. We would have been willing to meet them halfway for the repair, it would have been the honorable thing to do but obviously MLA isn't interested in doing the right thing. We're stuck owing 7K for a dead car that should have lasted well into the future. Beware buyer, take your money elsewhere!

I visited Audi in Mohegan Lake with the intention of buying/leasing a new car. Unfortunately, being new in the US and having no local credit record, no dealer would discuss a leasing option. At Audi I was assigned to Alfonso Ruggeiro who was a very friendly employee and pleasant person in general. We very quickly configured the car the way I liked and immediately found one that was in stock in the greater NE area. The next morning Alfonso did a survey regarding my case and found that Audi (and apparently the whole VW Group) had a special programme for Foreign Business Professionals via which I could actually get a leasing deal without a price penalty or a security deposit. I collected all required documents and within a couple of days my credit application had been approved. Another two days later my new car had arrived at Mohegan Lake and was ready for pickup. Alfonso guided me carefully throughout the whole process, always clarifying things in an immediate and effective way. Upon pickup, we spent around 45 minutes in the car for a quick demonstration of most basic functionality (navigation, external connectivity etc.), sparing me a few afternoons of reading the manuals. My overall experience with Audi Mohegan Lake and Alfonso Ruggeiro in particular was great, exceeding my initial expectations - I got my dream car in only 6 days after my first visit. I would highly recommend this dealer to anyone looking for a new Audi.

Terrible rude customer service

Have had problems with oil light since purchasing used Audi in 2013. Recently oil light came on again - took two weeks to get an appointment but finally was told to bring car in and service would take about three hours. Arrived first thing Monday morning - without ever looking at the vehicle, told me oil was fine, but if I wanted oil change it would cost $450. When questioned, point blankly lied -rude, unprofessional and not very smart- STAY AWAY!

If you are looking for a car but fear dealing with slimeballs, have no fear about Alfonso at Mohegan Lake Audi. These guys are good and who you want to deal with! I was in the market for a certain car and I was able to locate it at Mohegan Lake Audi. I called over to the dealership to inquire about the car (on a Monday) and was immediately transferred to Alfonso who was able to confirm the car was there, and answer my many (and tedious) questions about the vehicle. He happily answered everything to my satisfaction.Next, I was trading in my car and was able to relay enough information over to him so we could get an estimated quote on the trade-in value, relatively quickly (same day) Amazing!We now had agreed on a tentative deal pending financing and inspection of the cars. Financing went smoothly and I received a realistic quote for the car I was buying and was more than happy to accept such offer (day 2 because this occurred after banking hours).Alfonso also took care of insurance and registration and all that good stuff by the time I arrived. The car I was buying was exactly as cosmetically described, and drove better than expected. Their offer for my car was on the absolute high-end of the window they gave me. Worth the drive

We searched the internet for certified used A7's, found one at Mohegan lake, and we were lucky enough to hook up with Matt Rivera. Matt knew his product inside out. The price negotiation was very professional, fair on both ends I think. Matt is a great communicator, and saw to our needs after the sale. I really could not complain about a single thing - the 100+ mile drive up to Mohegan Lake was well worth it thanks to Matt.

Bought a vehicle there paid over 20 k suppose to be certified going on three weeks and car had to be serviced twice , violated MM law , also service rep Mr. Binder talked to me like I was a piece of xxxx, practically trying to force me not to install aftermarket device then after not listening to me the first time brings up SAME situation but this time did it in front of service staff like I was a child went to so called assistant manager tried to tell him it's not about ALL the repairs you did in the two weeks I owned it it was the attitude of your repair reps , he didn't want to hear this , he was drilling me like I was on trial told me to lower my voice I did I was heated and then he starts raising his I said why are you raising your voice , you told me not to raise mine the person which did not give me his name but was filling in for the manager said I raised my voice because you ANNOYED me , I annoyed him, I can't raise my voice but you can I'm the customer he got up walked away saying I'm not buying car, left me at desk, I was treated like a piece of trash not to mention he lied about wattranty, bad experience, contacting back at Audi USA , BBB, consumer etc. I want to make this clear too much xxxx happening to the a car for two week ownership and my salesman was GREAT not ragging on them MR.BINDER TREATED ME LIKE A CHILD BAD EXPERIENCE he should of not brought up a ridiculous subject that we covered the night before and he knew I was heated but he did right in front of the whole service staff again they have to realize that we are the customers and they are the sales people I have a right to be made but the person sitting in for the manager did not want to hear that part, it's about the whole experience in buying a car not one part be careful to bring a mechanic when buying a car there again my salesperson was EXCELLENT he should be in management not the nasty one I dealt with this is not over by any stretch. Excellent Experience

I have purchased or leased a great number of vehicles in my life many time with less than satisfactory results. All I can say is the experience with Mohegan Lake Audi and Howard Burman was by far the best that both my wife and I were part of. We were just out looking early for a lease replacement and my wife wanted to look at the Audi brand. We met Howard in the showroom and he was very accommodating right away. We explained that we still had a year left but Howard said "let me see what I can do for you". He found a vehicle that met with our expectations for type, value and budget. There was no pressure and Howard understood that we could just walk away and try at a much later time. It didn't matter to him as he worked the whole deal knowing that it could be a huge waste of his time and effort. His demeanor and caring showed and was one of the reasons that convinced us to make this deal. I can't recommend this dealership and especially Howard enough.

Great Salesman

I've been buying my Audi's from Alfonso for over 10 years and I have to say he's one of the best salesman I've ever had. I think over the 10 years, I bought 7 Audi's from him and I can't find one flaw that he had. He really knows his stuff. This was not my first experience purchasing a new car nor is my first Audi. After visiting a number of Audi dealerships, I visited Mohegan Lake Audi, met with Alfonso Ruggerio and proceeded to purchase my new Audi S4. It was the easiest and best transaction I have ever experienced. They gave me a fair price for my trade in and a fair price for my new Audi. I have dealt with Mohegan Lake Motors for several years now. I am on my 5th Audi, the first bought privately and the rest from Mohegan Lake. I did price other places and speak with other dealerships, always returning to Mohegan for the sale. They make it happen. Starting from the top of the line at Mohegan, Mr. Rost is exceptional and does what he has to do to keep his customers. I have known Alfonso for several years and trust him to sell me the car that is right for me. A diamond in the rough...

In a sea of car dealerships, Anthony Augusta from Audi of Mohegan Lake was tops! Not only was he friendly, courteous, and genuine in his salesmanship, he was extremely knowledgeable, listened intently and exuded an air of confidence not often seen or experienced especially in the oft-aggressive car dealership arena. From the start, Anthony was engaging, made me feel at home, and detailed the Audi history and craftsmanship. He was transparent and even allowed us to view his inventory on his computer screen. Considering the model was a popular seller, he was confident he could make it happen, and also was fair and approachable in the negotiation process. Anthony kept in direct communications via phone and text, and made the deal very seamless by requesting registration info immediately and also contacting the insurance company on my behalf. When the car arrived, he took the time personally to review all the features, changed the license plate, and offered to answer any additional questions. After purchasing a Mercedes, I can't say this same type of attention was equally paid. It is evident that Anthony loves what he does as he gives the same amount of energy for his work as he does to his customers and clients alike.

Buying experience beyond excellent!!!!!!

I have to say that I looked at many dealerships for an Audi as well as a few other high end car dealers, I was very specific about my wants and needs and the price I wanted to pay. I found the Mohegan Lake dealership friendly, professional and helpful. I ended up buying a certified pre owned A5 convertible the first day I visited. Since I bought the car so quickly there were a few issues on my pick up I had not taken notice of prior, however, they were extremely accommodating and took care of every concern. I worked with Howard Burman and I can say he is not your stereotypical "car salesman" and I couldn't have been happier or chosen a better salesman or dealer. I'm not the kind of person who likes to haggle when it comes to cars so car buying is rarely an enjoyable experience for me. I'd been quoting prices with a few Audi dealerships for a several weeks and decided venture out a little further and called Mohegan Lake Audi one day. I told the receptionist I was looking to price an Audi A3 and she transferred me to sales. I was lucky enough to be put on the phone with a fella name Alfonso. I told him what I was looking for including options and what I was willing to spend. He asked me to leave my number and he'd get working on it for me. Without having ever met me, he took his time and found what I was looking for. I was kind of a pain of customer and ended up changing up a couple of the options. Alfonso rolled with the punches and found the car I would eventually buy from Mohegan Audi. I went in, met Alfonso and got everything started. They didn't have the car but he was able to order it from another dealership and have it delivered. I love the car and Alfonso got me a great price for the car compared to the other dealerships I called. I was pleasantly surprised by how stress-free a process I had dealing with Alfonso and Mohegan Lake Audi. I'll be going back to Mohegan Lake Audi for my next Audi.

Great Experience

We came from out of state and Howard made it worth our while. We arrived later than expected, but he never made us feel hurried or pressured to make a decision. He even stayed with us past closing to wrap up the deal. He also made a great recommendation for a hotel in the area (The Thayer at West Point - terrific) once we realized we were going to be hard pressed to make it back home that evening. Pleasant experience.

We were on our way to Wappinger Falls via the Taconic Parkway to purchase an Acura RDX. We knew Mohegan Lake Audi was on the way, so we decided to stop and take a look at a Q5. After a brief discussion with Anthony Agusta, he had a pretty good idea what we were looking for. We took a test drive in the car that we decided met our needs.
