I was impressed right from the start! I was searching online for a particular vehicle and came across Modern Motorcars. I started the process by requesting the "value your trade" since we would be traveling from Little Rock, AR for the purchase. I literally had a call within one minute of the inquiry! WOW! Boone, our salesman, was awesome! We communicated by text most of the weekend and he even texted me the night before, "see you in the morning!" In the past, I always bought vehicles from larger dealerships where you are practically there all day. Never again! The car buying process with Modern Motorcars took about 2 hours total. We LOVE our new vehicle and they really worked with us on our trade. I must say, I was skeptical about purchasing a vehicle out of state from a smaller car lot. However, I read a lot of the reviews which made me feel at ease. I've been just as impressed with the customer service I received after the sale as I was before the sale. I've reached out to, Boone, a couple of times and he was just as quick to respond! My husband and I even talked about buying my son's first car from Modern Motorcars when he begins to drive in the next few years. Hands down the best experience! A+++++ in value, quality, and customer service!

I was looking for a unique Mustang online and had travel to 3 different specialty car dealerships in 3 different locations being told that the cars I was travelling (fairly long distances) were perfect and pristine. I of course examine the photos and carFax , and associated documentation, spoke with the dealership on all the vehicles prior to travelling. All 3 cars at 3 different towns and states were chipped, small dents, had road rash and in one case was a smokers car. Basically a waste of our time and gasoline.Then I found a 2007 Mustang Shelby GT with 9,623 miles online. I immediately contacted Modern Motorcars in Nixa who had it. I spoke with a very seasoned specialty car sales professional Ken. Their website had excellent photos and detailed information on the car. Ken told me they had just gotten the Mustang and that he would drive it and go over it underneath, body, interior and engine before I came up to see it and report back to me, which he did in about 2 hours. Ken told me the car was virtually a brand new 2007. My wife and I drove the 215 miles up to see the Shelby and 1 other car about 6 miles from Modern Motorcars. The other car was again a failure after being told otherwise. However, when we arrived to see the Shelby it was ready for us to see and drive. Ken was absolutely right on the car, it was virtually brand new. We bought it immediately, and the buying process was professional and simple. After spending several weeks and travelling many miles we found exactly what we were after at Modern MotorCars in Nixa, thanks Ken for the honesty and professionalism.BillHot Springs Village, AR

We came from Pittsburg and looked at a Dodge Durango, used, that we were trading our truck for. Matt was super nice, but we got totally low balled on our trade in. We got a much better deal somewhere else, and were rather disappointed with making the trip. They were not even wanting to negotiate on the trade in.

We found a car at this dealership and read the reviews but were suspect that the experience could be as good as what we read. Well...believe it. Matt was terrific. There was no pressure, just casual conversation and discussion of a final price. Excluding the test drive the whole process took less than 30 minutes and the deal was done. The day I was there Matt was working with three different customers and the place was very busy. Everyone left with a smile on their face. These guys really know how to treat the customer.

I had been looking for a particular vehicle and after doing a search on cars.com i narrowed down to 3 cars. Even though I had found some models that were what I was looking for, Modern motorcars had the exact one I was looking for.....AND 4K dollars cheaper than the exact same model and everything at a dealership in Omaha. I was leary making the one way 7 hour trip, 14 hour round way, but Matt the salesman made me a offer for trade in on my car I could not refuse. Upon my arrival Matt had everything in order and ready to go! Very fast and efficient purchase as I was in and out of there in less than 15 minutes! This dealer has some of the best, cleanest, low mileage cars around! I would NOT hesitate to do another 14hour round trip to do business with them again! Very happy with my purchase! Thanks Matt!

Very bad service, the sales person with bad face if you think the price is a little expensive! This dealership always overpriced and think they will lose money when they lower the price! Talked with Matt at the dealership over the phone about the vehicle expecting an accurate and honest description because I had a four hour drive to inspect the car personally and didn't want any surprises upon my arrival. Matt's description was accurate and the car was exactly as described and since we had agreed to a price prior to arriving at dealership contingent upon my inspection approval and there were no issues, then all went exactly as hoped. Left the dealership with a great vehicle and was very satisfied with the ease of paperwork. All personnel were friendly and made for a comfortable atmosphere.

I was looking for a Mini Cooper S. I had been on the internet for a week looking in the Tennessee areas, I live in Arlington, TN. I decided to look in Missouri, as soon as I typed in Mini Cooper S Convertible, Modern Motorcars came up. There it was the exact Mini Cooper S I was looking for, and to my surprise this one was fully loaded. I drove 4 + hrs to pick up the car. The price was good, and they ever gave me a discount because I had to drive so far. Boone was the salesman that handled my transaction, and he was very polite and helpful.

My Husband and I drove 2 1/2 hours to buy from this car lot. We read reviews and was very pleased with what others had to say. Experience was wonderful and very quick. The salesman helped us get started with the online application and was called within an hour with approval. He held the car for us so we could make the trip up there. We were greeted with warm welcomes and was able to drive the car and sign papers. All total process was maybe 30 minutes and we were on our way. Car was very clean and runs great! Highly recommend them for all your buys. I will return to them for future buys! Great company!!!

I have never ever experienced such a transaction of purchasing a vehicle that went over with such calmness and ease by the salesman. He went out of his way to accomandate my schedule and the 2009 Lexus sold itself. The Lexus was the creme of the crop and the price was so reasonable. I will diffently recommened Modern Motors to all my friends at work and outside of work. It just goes to show that, you don't have to be a pushy salesman to be effective. Great Job to Frank too.

Easy going staff made looking at cars low stress. I knew what I wanted and got a quote on my trades over the phone, when I dropped them off there was no nit-picking just the price they quoted over the phone. I saw the vehicle on autotrader and called modern motors. The rep was nice on the phone. I lived 2 hours away so asked him to be honost about if it had any issues such as being wrecked or mechanically. He said not at all that it was a very clean car. So with that i made an offer and they accepted. Upon arrival we noticed the car had a big dent in the back bumper, which he said on the phone was not a dent. The driver door handle was broke along with the door itself which would only shut if slammed. The car drove just fine so we decided to buy it anyways. We didnt even make it the 2 hour drive home and the check engine light came on. The next morning there was a puddle of fluid under the front end leaking out. We took it to the local chevy serving dept and it costs $500 to fix an axle seal and the drive belt was so worn it was about to break so it had to be replaced. The engine light was the thermostat was bad which they knew that but had the light reset probably so it would not be on when we test drove it. So there is still more to be spent on the thermostat and the broken door. Which will be another $500. So my review is not at all in favor of this dealer. I will not look at their cars again. Apparently they are not very honost.

Long distance internet buyer, looked at 5 star reviews, and purchased a specialty car from Matt. He and the entire dealership provided me the finest auto buying experience ever, and I have purchased many many vehicles over my 45 years of driving. When there is a problem, that's when you see the true colors of a dealership, and they shined brightly, going the extra miles to satisfy their customer (ME !) I would definately purchase another vehicle from them, and I highly recommend anyone to trust that they will get a terrific car, and be dealing with top shelf people who REALLY care about their customers.

This was my first dealer purchase, so I was apprehensive. The saleman I dealt with was very casual and was not pushy with the test drive, leaving me to drive it myself. They also held a car for us while we thought about it and did NOT pressure us. They were fair on the price and the bargaining process, including the trade-in price on our car. I would recommend Modern Motorcars to anyone, especially a person who is not comfortable with the car buying process and does not want a pushy big-dealership salesman to deal with.

Seamless easy application for loan approval prior to going to look at the vehicles I was interested in. I received a call immediately after I was approved for financing. I came in, took a test drive and found a few things that needed to be fixed & they fixed them no questions asked. I got a call back letting me know the items were taken care of and asked if I was still interested in the vehicle. I drove down to Nixa the next day, took another test drive & was very impressed with the repairs. Before they made such an effort to fix the issues I noticed, I was going to try to give an offer, but for a company to go out of their way to fix something that was costly and not jack up the price of the vehicle I was sold at the sticker price. I was very impressed with the sales staff. I'd send anyone to Modern Motorcars for an excellent quality & reasonable priced used vehicle.

No complaints! Drove up to the dealer to look at a vehicle, but I didnt like the it after I got there. Started looking around and found another vehicle. The process of buying was fine, no pressure, just plain talk.
