Our Forester is our third car purchased at Miller Subaru and my second dealing with John Poster. I still have my Outback and this car was for my husband. John Poster does not press you to buy and lets you just look around while answering your questions. That is why I asked for John since I was pleased with my last transaction. The process was just as smooth. He explained every detail of the Forester and even set up the hands free cell phone.I hope I can deal with John when I am ready to replace my Outback.

This is the first time I have purchased a vehicle with a dealership, and I am fortunate I found the team at Miller Subaru. John Poster, after only briefly hearing my needs in a car (milage, city parking, etc) over the phone, was able to put me one that was perfect on the first try within minutes after my arrival. Rose expertly and patiently walked me through the contracts and such, not making me feel rushed and taking her time to fully answer my questions. This is just like most other typical car dealerships. Out to con you. Here is what happened. I called to see if they have the specific vehicle in stock and available. My plan was to lease. They confirmed YES to both also confirmed that mileage on the vehicle is under 30. When I showed up at dealership, the vehicle was shown after about 20 minutes of waiting and then it has 55 miles on it. Next, the Salesman (SM) and I talk about numbers. At this point before we start the negotiation, he says that the vehicle was requested by another dealer but he called and convinced them to take another car (at a later time, he was even asking me what time on a specific day would work to pick up the car). They offered a price. I counter-offered. They easily agreed. I was surprised but here is where it gets interesting. I did my thorough research and called a few dealers to get the Money Factor and Residual Value. I got four resources saying MF is .00066 and RV is 59% for the specific vehicle and mileage and lease term. The SM goes in to General Managers (GM) and comes out about 5-6 times. The GM comes out with a monthly $ lease number. When I asked him specific questions about what was his MF was and the residual value, he gets nervous. I also had a trade-in. And the trade-in has ultra-low mileage which was apprised by three other dealers and confirmed to have at least $2600 in positive equity. The GM agrees to about $2600 but silently rolls all of this into new lease. So, when I told him that I rather have my lease payments high but would like a check for the $2600, he starts to get really nervous. The SM now has a nasty fit and says we still have to check with the other dealer if he is okay to let go this vehicle and when I asked why he said early on that the issue was straightened out, he says you can roll your eyes as much as you want but it is what it is. Now, with SM getting nasty and GM unwilling and wanting to get out of the deal, handed me keys and asked me to leave. Yes. He asked me to leave. This is after 4 hours of wasting my time there. Masterful con artistry on display all the way through. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this dealership. They also have a Ford dealership next door. Skip that as well. They want you to buy the car without asking any questions about the financing aspect of the deal. If you ask questions, you have to leave.

This is really an impressive operation, the way a new car buying process should be. In an era where many dealerships have really stepped up their game in delivering a friendly, fair, and efficient experience (I connected with over 10 dealerships during my car search and there are a lot of good ones out there), Miller Subaru (and in particular, Aaron Freedman) stands out. They are prompt in responding by phone or email, they know their product, and they know how to tackle challenges that arise. When they didn't have a Subaru Impreza in stock in the trim I wanted, they located the vehicle and still offered a fair, competitive price, consistent with their original commitment. They delivered the car on time, in perfect condition, and really took the time to explain it's features. A first class operation!

Miller Subaru and John Poster are proof that car buying doesn't need to be a painful experience. This review is long overdue since we bought the car back in November, but the fact remains this place is a rare find. Unfortunately, we did the looking, tire kicking and asking of questions at a different nearby dealer from whom we would never buy a car. So when we contacted Miller and John, we already knew what we wanted. John negotiated with us on a fair price without any of typical car dealer tactics. We handled most of the details via email and phone calls and nothing changed when we got to the dealer. The car was what we saw on-line, no "accidental" incorrect amounts on the paperwork, no add-on up-sells. Everyone in the dealer was friendly and worked efficiently. I can't think of one thing we wished had happened differently. If you need a Subaru, go to Miller and buy one from John Poster.

My wife and I went to Miller Subaru on Rte 38 in Lumberton (Mt. Holly), NJ and worked with Glenn when looking for a new Subaru. First, I recommend Subaru vehicles to anyone looking for a vehicle that handles extremely well in poor weather, looks fantastic, holds value, and lasts longer than most other vehicle manufacturers out there. Once you've decided to get a great car, then go to Glenn. He is incredibly knowledgeable and will help you understand all your options (buy/lease) and benefits of each method, he is also incredibly friendly and good at helping you pick out a car and features that are a perfect fit for your needs and personality.

After extensive internet searching, I found the exact model that I wanted at Miller Subaru. Salesman Ed Hughes patiently explained the car's safety features and technology. It was clear that I was dealing with a knowledgeable professional who sincerely cared about the product that he was selling. Based on the information that Ed provided, I decided to buy the car. I received the same courtesy from Carl Savage, who worked with Ed and me to close the deal. When returned to pick up the car and complete the paperwork, Jared Zaum was efficient and considerate and didn't pressure me into buying additional services that I knew I would never use. I had been a loyal Subaru owner for many years. Occasionally, I suffer a lapse in judgment and purchase a vehicle from another manufacturer. I had given up my last Subaru because the safety features and technology were relatively primitive. As soon as Ed convinced me of the change, I was sold. I had been shopping around and comparing cars for quite a while and both Miller Ford and Miller Subaru were extraordinary experiences. I needed a replacement car in a hurry when my 2000 Yukon XL's transmission suddenly went. I knew I wanted a smaller, more fuel-efficient vehicle, but I still wanted it to be dependable in Pennsylvania's winter weather and to have some sport ute capability. I was also looking for a standard transmission. I did a lot of online exploration and found what was to become my 2013 Subaru XV Crosstrek at Miller Subaru. Within hours of my online inquiry, I received a phone call back from Josh Kolodziej. I knew that if I liked the car, I'd want to take it home with me the day I came to test drive it, since I live about an hour and a half away from the dealership. I asked if this was possible and was assured that it was. The next day my daughter and I drove to the dealership to check out the car. The salesperson, John Poster, was very helpful and not all pushy. When we went for a test drive, it was a good, long test drive. It covered many types of driving conditions, from highway, to s-turns to small town traffic. I fell in love with my Crosstrek during the test drive. When we got back, I noticed some cosmetic issues and was able to negotiate a little bit because of them. The car came with a Subaru certified warranty, which was important to me because I live far away from the dealer. I can take my car to any Subaru dealer for warranty work. I filled out the paperwork necessary to secure a loan and was able to go out to lunch with my daughter while they processed it. When we got back, we finished up some loose ends and only had to wait about half an hour to forty five minutes until everything was ready. I had a nice, long drive home and quickly became familiar with my new-to-me car. It's fun to drive, responsive, comfortable, and has a good sound system, among other key features. The people at Miller made buying it a pleasurable experience. I'd highly recommend them to prospective car buyers.

After researching the purchase price of a new 2015 Subaru Legacy along with the trade-in value of our present vehicle on Kelley Blue Book and Car Sense, we visited several Subaru dealerships close to home. After over 40 years of buying and leasing cars, I can honestly say that MILLER SUBARU is the "BEST" dealership I have ever done business with!! It was well worth the 65 mile drive from Staten Island, NY to the MILLER SUBARU dealership to lease our 2014 Legacy. From my first conversation with Jessica Sansoni, Internet Sales Rep, to the many conversations with John Godoy, Sales and Leasing Representative, and including Carl Savage, Sales Manager, who completed the financing, the entire experience was completely enjoyable! The personnel at Miller Subaru are very friendly and courteous, completely honest, totally trustworthy and most importantly, extremely knowledgeable of the Subaru vehicle. I can truly understand why this family-owned dealership has been in business for over 100 years (since 1912). I would highly recommend MILLER SUBARU to my family and friends, and anyone reading this review. Oh, and by the way, after calling other Subaru dealerships from Hicksville, Long Island to Pennsylvania and Maryland, I received the best price from Miller Subaru! Dealt with Ryan via the internet and the pricing was very favorable. We went to the dealership and were introduced to John Poster. The price of the car never changed and we leased an 2014 Outback Limited, which was in transit to the dealership. We were so impressed with John and the Miller organization that we went back with my daughter 4 days later and she purchased a 2015 Forester Touring. The purchase process was very easy with absolutely no pressure. John told her what cars were on order and she decided on a white one. When her car came in John made sure that everything went smoothly and explained all of the features of the car.When my wife's lease is up in the fall we will return to Miller for a 2015 Legacy.

I had been car shopping for over a month and I had experience the worst of the worst in car dealerships and salesman but it was a relief when I arrived to Miller Subaru. After searching long and hard for a Subaru Forester my family and I bought our very first Subaru from Miller Subaru in Lumberton, NJ and we love the car and truly appreciate the service that we received. We had gone to a handful of dealers in our area and I can tell you for certain that they don't come close to the friendliness and quality of service provided by this dealership. Our sales consultant, John Godoy, was extremely helpful, very knowledgeable about the car, and willing to help in any way that he could. He has been great with following up with us to answer any questions we have about the car even after we purchased the car. I also spoke with Ryan via email prior to going into the dealership and he was very clear in explaining the availability of the vehicle, and the approximate price of the car (in addition he was very straightforward and relatively accurate in the conversation - not like other sales people who say anything to get you into the door).My family and I are from northern NJ - about an hour away from Miller Subaru - and it was well worth the drive to purchase our car from here. The experience has been nothing but great - and I truly encourage others in the market for a Subaru to at the very least speak with this dealership. I know that come time for me to purchase another car I will definitely consider purchasing it from here first, given the friendly nature of the staff and the great service provided by the team.

After visiting a total of six NJ Subaru dealerships, I recently purchased my new vehicle from Miller Subaru in Mt. Holly. Whereas the car-buying experience at other dealers ranged from good to miserable, my experience at Miller Subaru was excellent. First, their pricing was the most competitive of all of the dealers I contacted (note: I would highly recommend that future car buyers contact Miller's internet sales representative, Jessica, via their website or phone, for a price on any vehicle of interest). Second, the atmosphere at Miller was completely professional and friendly (in contrast to some of the high-pressure tactics other dealers employed in an effort to do what they could to get me to buy a car before leaving the showroom); in this regard, I would highly recommend that purchasers meet with Jay (or Jack, who also assisted with my sale). Third, when I picked up my brand new vehicle, it was delivered to me in top-notch condition (whereas, in the past, with some other dealers, there were various issues that needed to be addressed following the sale). Lastly, I was very impressed with the management at the dealership, notably, Carl and Melissa, who made this car-buying experience an excellent one for me -- now, a third-time Subaru purchaser. PS: I would also like to point out that Miller Subaru is located over an hour's drive from my home. Given the outstanding experience I had there, however, I would highly encourage others -- particularly those who, like me, do not live in the immediate vicinity -- to make Miller a destination location for your next Subaru purchase. If your experience is anything like mine, you will be very happy you did.

I waited about 2 months before writing this review to give everyone an idea of the total car buying and service experience from Miller Subaru.First, I want to say this is the best car dealership in the world! I never had purchased a Subaru before. Ryan gave me very good internet pricing on the BRZ when I inquired in an email. I walked in, and Graham Johns was the nicest guy (my sales rep). He treats you like more like you are a part of his family rather than just a normal customer. I purchased a 2013 Subaru BRZ in Dark Metallic Gray. I LOVE THIS CAR!!! When I took the test drive, Graham took me on a nice winding road so I could see how well the BRZ handled. When I took delivery of the car, Graham literally spent about an hour with me inside the car going over every little feature the car has. I was very impressed with how much knowledge Graham had about the BRZ. He every took me through every screen of the NAV and made sure I knew how to connect my Bluetooth Phone. I cant say enough about how much I enjoyed working with Graham.I also had the opportunity to work with the finance guys.... Aaron and Carl. Let me tell you, both of them know their stuff, and are excellent to work with as well. As as matter of fact, I had a smile on my face the whole time working out the financing with both of them, because they both like to joke around a bit and also laugh. They are good guys.I purchased the Miller Protection Program (and I am glad that I did). A rock had flown off of a truck while I was driving on a highway a few days after I picked up the car and dinged my car. I was covered under the Protection Program. Miller Subaru repaired the ding to perfection. John Poster (another sales rep), again was another really nice guy. Got my loaner car for me ready when I dropped the car off and was just the nicest guy also to deal with.I had also met Melissa Miller (the general manager). Another really nice woman. She personally came out to talk to me to make sure I was satisfied with the ding removal. This is the type of customer service everyone should get.... but you dont get this type of customer service everywhere. AT MILLER SUBARU, YOU GET GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE ALL THE TIME.I can't say enough about this dealership. They have to be the friendliest and honest people I have ever worked with when buying a car, and ever after you buy the car.I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND you buy a car from Miller Subaru, if you are looking for a Subaru. You will love the experience and meet some really nice people in the process.If I could give them a rating on a scale of 1 (worst) to 10 (best).... i'd give them a 12 (yes, 12 meaning better than best, which would be off the charts!!) I just came in for my first oil change this past weekend. Making the appointment was very simple.... just call them. They send you a confirmation email as well. They have a nice lobby with a TV, plenty of magazines to read, and the dealership is very very clean.The service manager was very very friendly. Wow, a car dealership that handles you with courtesy and respect AND gives you a great deal. I looked all over the Philly suburbs to get a good deal for my trade and on a new 2014 forester and couldn't find a good one. I also had one very negative experience at a dealership in Newtown Square where they low-balled me on my trade and lacked integrity in their interaction with me. Ryan Plotcher reached out to me from the beginning and came in with some good numbers, made it seem worth it to make the hour drive out to NJ. I'm so glad I did! The staff was great and John Poster was wonderful to work with. Even my dogs had a good time in there. Thank you for making my first Subaru purchasing experience great.

Purchasing my vehicle from Miller Subaru was everything a car buying experience should be. The business manager (Travis) and the Internet sales staff helped answer my questions before I arrived at the dealership. My sales rep (Jay) didn't try oversell me (you don't need a moonroof air deflector he said) or try to be the best friend I ever had. The negotiation process was straightforward, with no shenanigans in finance (Aaron) afterwards. Once the vehicle was ready, Jay helped acquaint me with the vehicle and even paired my iPhone with the audio system.

I LOVE my Subaru Forester and I only drive manual cars. Ed Hughes is my salesman. He has worked with me to get exactly what I want.The service department is great too. They help me take very good care of my George (cars name). I have had seven Subaru Foresters, my father two and my mother just joined with hers. All together though we have had nine Subaru cars. I keep trying to hold onto my car but then Subaru keeps coming out with something new that I HAVE to get and working with Ed has always been a pleasant experience. This was the third dealership we went to that day, and, the first to act as if they cared. In other words, once someone was available to work with us, we had his undivided attention until we left. The customer was the most important person in the room and no sales "pitches" or force were used in making our decision. In fact, we were both encouraged to test drive the car we were interested in, and when we got back from that test drive, we knew we had found the right place and car. I also love that the car can be serviced right there when that needs to be done. It is the first new car I have ever purchased and it was an excellent experience - and, we love the car!

it was a great experience dealing with MIller Subaru. I had tried a few other dealers that were closer to my house but they had prices that were higher than Miller's and/or their salesman were pressuring me like crazy over the phone. I used AAA pricing and Miller's price was the best out of any others. I was skeptical that there had to be a catch but I drove the extra few miles to see what Miller's was all about. there was no catch at all, Miller's is the real deal! Jack Martisofski was our sales associate for my wife Caroline and I. He introduced himself and said from the beginning that he would do everything he can to take care of us and get the best deal. We were looking at the Legacy's and I came informing him about the $159/mo lease. He told us that is was for the regular 2.5I base model and not for the sport model which my wife was interested in. I told him that before we went out and test dove the car that we work out the figures which he gladly agreed. We had a trade-in which I was hoping to get a fair market value for. Melissa came in with the figures which worked out to be exactly what my wife and I thought it would be which gave us a great feeling and the trade-in value for our car was very fair. I was very happy with the overall experience that I had at Miller Subaru. In comparison with the extremely unfriendly experience I had at Cherry Hill Subaru, I would always recommend Miller Subaru to friends. Since customer satisfaction is very important to me both personally and professionally, I would say that working with Graham Johns was like working with a friend. He was very easy going, shared great stories and was never trying to push me to hard. He gave me just enough motivation to help me choose the Crosstrek (which I love) even after I continued to test drive other cars on the lot. While I personally would have liked a little more money for my trade-in (I will actually know better once I see the resale value you all put on it) Graham was able to get me a car for the exact price with some nice accessories free of charge. Melissa did a great job explaining the paperwork for me and was extremely patient and for the 1st time in my life (as well as most of my friends) she actually asked me prior to the paperwork if I was really ready to buy the car. I was very impressed with Miller Subaru. From the moment I was greeted at the door through the selection process and final delivery and acceptance of our new Outback. Compared to other salesmen I have dealt with, Carl was very refreshing. He was considerate, very warm and friendly, and thoroughly knowledgeable about the Subaru Outback models I was interested in. I appreciated his patience, giving me ample time to compare different vehicles and test drive them. I went to Miller Subaru following receipt of an "internet quote" for a Subaru Forester. I got to the lot and was able to look around a bit before being approached by a sales person. I was asked what I was looking for and was shown several models (both new and pre-owned) that were "in the neighborhood". After talking with the salesperson and seeing what was available, I was asked if I would like to take one out for a test drive -- all the while feeling very little to no pressure.Following the test drive, I was asked what I thought and I told the sales person "I think I'll take (this) one". What followed was one of the best car purchase experiences I've had. Both my sales person and the sales manager were very friendly and able to answer all my questions and made me feel at ease with their "personable" approach to the whole process. I am a real car nut and had spent considerable time reading online reviews and enthusiast publication test reports before visiting the dealership. I had already narrowed down my potential choices to 4 vehicles that would meet our needs, including 2 of the Subaru brand. John Poster was the first personal interaction I had with Miller Subaru. He was friendly, informative, asked very good questions about our status and need without pushing for a sale, and spent time with my wife and me even though we indicated we were early in the factfinding stage. He spoke about the benefits, features and product attributes of the Subaru's, not in a techie manner, but in a practical way that was tuned to our expressed needs. He presents an easy-going, competent, enthusiastic, patient and very comfortable manner of interaction.We terst-drove the Forester and the Outback models we were considering, and John sat in the back explaining different aspects of the vehicle as appropriate, then remained quiet so we could absorb the test drive experience.We left the dealership with much more information than we had going in. I went to the dealerships of the two other brands we were considering, and returned to Miller, met with John, and continued the process, discussing purchase/lease offerings. Again, John was very clear in his explanation of each process, introduced us to Ron (general manager), and to Aaron (business manager/finance). The introductions and conversations with each were natural, never feeling like the old-school sales-to-manager-to-dreaded-closing-room transactions of high pressure car dealerships that I've experienced in the past.In conclusion, we leased a Forester. Delivery of the vehicle was scheduled to our satisfaction and the process was efficient, logical and thorough. I rate the dealership team and John specifically a 5/5. Top marks for a great car-buying experience.The only potential improvement in the process would have been to do a brief walk-through of the service department, but that can certainly be attributed to the fact that I really didn't ask about service-related issues and John was staying on task (completing the delivery of the vehicle to its proud new owners).

I priced Foresters at three dealerships on-line to obtain a new Subaru for my wife. We had owned 3 Subarus previously, a wagon (12 years), sedan (8 years) and Legacy wagon (3 years). Miller & another dealer were forthcoming, their offers consistent information disclosed in my research. Christina the contact from internet sales was by far better in terms of follow-up and addressing my initial questions. Upon arrival at the dealership, I was connected with Jay Fralin, of the Sales staff. Jay is an experienced salesperson who understood my needs and attempted to accommodate them. He was honest and information he provided was consistent with my research pertaining to the vehicle and pricing. He did not atttemt to employ pressure or questionable sales tactics. Both of the vehicles in which we were interesed were sold prior to our arrival. Jay attempted locate another but was unsuccessful. I was also assisted by Ms. Miller, ass't manager, with respect to locating another vehicle. I was impressed by the accessiblity and responsiveness of management staff to address my concerns. Jay provided some options and subesquently informed me that another model that might meet my needs was delivered to the dealership. We purchased it immediately. Jay was excellent in explaining the features and operation of the vehicle to my wife, even syncing her cell phone to the bluetooth in the car. We were also impressed with the business manager who completed the transaction for purchase of the vehicle. He made us aware of additional options that we might purchase pertaining to warranties etc. Once again, we engaged with a true professional, who did not employ pressure or questionable sales tactics. We selected Miller for our purchase because of their business model which values honesty in dealing with the consumer, good pricing, and professional, knowledgeable staff who were responsive in addressing our concerns.

It's been 14 years since I last purchased a car. And, this purchase is our4th Subaru. With a thought that possible variety should be considered, I didgo to a number of other dealerships, including following the Costco incentive to PA.However, on my first visit to Miller Subaru, Ed Hughes materialized out of thecar lines and I have stayed with him ever since. He took much time explaining themany improvements that have evolved in the Subaru Outback in fourteen years, took me out for a ride, and then allowed my own test drive. A serious considerationfor me was to go from a 6 cylinder back to a four cylinder engine with the box engineto derive the best possible mileage while focusing on the conservation of whatseems to be a limited energy supply. This feature, plus the test drive and extensiveexplanation of the many new features of the Subaru, and thedeal was happening with Ed.Possibly like everyone else in this economy, the financial details needed toresolved. Having retired from a long teaching career, the pros andcons of leasing and purchasing needed exploration. As with most people purchasing a new car is an experience that is dreaded. The normal high pressure sales gimmicks that precede the purchase are usually predictable and insulting to the consumer. When we decided to make a new car purchase we actually lost sleep knowing the "game" we were in for. At a close friends recommendation we first stopped at Miller Subaru in Lumberton. The first thing we noticed was the no pressure attitude of our salesman, Graham Johns. He answered all the questions we had in a very comfortable professional manner. After a careful examination of the Subaru Forester we fell in love with it and knew that it was the vehicle we wanted. We already had good feelings about the salesman and that was only cemented in when the actual sales procedure took place. There was no nonsence, no pressure and no games played to arrive at the decision to purchase our vehicle. We were introduced to the sales manager, Ron Buchanan. We were fully prepared to endure the usual game that is played with the salesman-manager "discussions " that usually precede the actual sale. THERE WERE NONE! Instead what we received was honest, relaxed and informative help from both men. The atmosphere was so comfortable and relaxed it was truly hard for us to believe. My wife and I kept waiting for the bottom to fall out of his pleasureable experience. It never did. The next day we scheduled to pick our new car up. Nothing changed. The atmosphere was that of a friendly gathering. We received no pressure of any kind during the entire time we were there.I can honestly say that we have NEVER had such a relaxed and enjoyable time with a dealership in purchasing a car. Every member of he staff treated us like a close friend not a customer. We could not recommend this dealership any higher to anyone that is considering a purchase. We are extremely grateful to our old friends for directing us to Miller Subaru and just as grateful to our new friends at Miller Subaru for treating us like you did! The process was made very easy for us. I saw the vehicle on-line and sent an e-mail to the dealership to inquire as to its' availability. Within less than five minutes I received a phone call from Ryan Plotcher. He told me the car was still available and I scheduled an appointment to look at it the following day. My and my wife's experience at Miller was absolutely fantastic. We're really, really satisfied. My wife just loves the car, and I still hear her talking with her family and girlfriends about it over the phone and we've had the car for a week. I met with Jack about 8 months ago to test drive an outback and legacy because I knew soon I would be ready to buy a new car and wanted a feel for subaru. Well needless to say i loved the vehicles and Jack was a great guy, he didn't do the typical salesman thing and try to make me sign on the dotted line right away. He spoke to me about the car, we took it for a ride and then he wished me luck on my future decision. Well Just in the past 2 weeks I decided the Outback was the car for me and I remembered Jack so I came to him. And true to form Jack remembered me too which was comforting. We happen to be from the same neighborhood so along with talking about the car we also swapped stories about home. The purchase process was as painless as humanly possible. The moment I walked into Miller Subaru the salesman Jay was friendly. I called about a used Subaru, and he's friendly attitude continued until I asked the wrong question. I asked to what a noise seemed to be to which he replied "nothing." after arguing for 30 minutes a technician stated the problem was a failing part soon to go at anytime. I agreed to purchase the vehicle giving "Jay" the benefit of the doubt. Soon enough the part went bad and I spent over 1000 within the first three months. The replacement was defective and was replaced yet again. Few months later I arrived back with the same noise concern to be told a related part was the actual problem. Three weeks after I decided that answer was not good enough so I called the service manager for further help. The service manager was rude and disrepectful since day one. After finally agreeing to look over the vehicle at his earliest convinience, when I arrived he treated me like I worked there and had a technician (same one as before), diagnose the concern which turned out to be the same as covered under warranty. They sent me on my way with a promise to get a hold of Subaru. This same technician contradicted himself countlessly and at one point cursed infront of me and another customer. I attempted to contact the general manager and left a voice mail, one he never replied. Later they contacted me stating that Subaru had explained to them to go ahead and replace all parts necessary. When the job was finally complete they greated me with an attitude, and had the repair order story as something non-related to my complaint in order for them to cover it as warranty. I would never recommend this dealership to anyone. Worst customer service I have ever seen. No care for the customer, just your wallet.

Great experience with the team at Miller Subaru; especially with Ed Hughes. I knew what I wanted and they went above and beyond to expedite the process for me in a no pressure environmnet (a key point when my young kids are running the dealership - which they did not mind at all). I was previously at another Subaru dealership that was closer to my house and the salesman seemed annoyed that I was there with my family - guess what, I will not buy a car unless my wife and kids fit in it and like it. I actually did not want to give them my money. Luckily, Ed and the team were the complete opposite and I feel compelled to let other people know that there are good car salespeople out there. If you live in the South Jersey area you need to visit Miller Subaru and more specifically Jay Fralin. I just purchased a 2011 Impreza WRX from Jay and the entire process was painless, he was very straight forward with me and gave me all of the details I needed to make a decision on buying a new car. This is my second Subaru, the first was leased through another dealer in the South Jersey area and after the experience I had there, I knew when the lease was up I would not be going back. Miller Subaru was the next closest dealer. I knew I wanted to purchase the new 2011 WRX but also knew they were tough to get. As a luck of fate, Jay had one coming in and held it for me while declining 10 other inquiries about the vehicle. Jay not only had the vehicle I wanted, he and Ron Buchanan were able to hit the number I wanted to pay per month. Ron made signing for the car a breeze, he thoroughly explained all of the charges, fees, etc so I knew exactly how much I was financing and how we got to the total. When I picked the vehicle up, Jay thoroughly went over the vehicle with me to make sure I knew how to operate all of the added features from my 2009 Impreza, and even synced my Iphone with the cars audio system. I began taking my wife's 2001 Forester to Miller for service after moving into this area several years ago. I usually chose to wait with my car while the work was being done because it never seemed to take that long--even without an appointment--and I could just sit in the customer lounge and read and help myself to the complimentary coffee. Inevitabily I would wander into the showroom just to look and I would invariably encounter Jay who was always willing to answer my questions or provide me with a brochure. Despite the fact that he thoroughly understood and, perhaps more importantly, accepted, that I was not in the market for a new car, his courtesy and professionalism never wavered. It worked. When we finally got serious about buying a new car I went straight to Jay... we were finally ready to take that test drive and, for all intents and purposed, the sale was closed then. Jay answereed the few remaining questions I had about certain options and accessories, and seeing that my wife and I were still undecided on some details, far from pressuring us in any way to take the next step right there on the spot, he urged us to go home and discuss it over the weekend so that we would be completely comfortable with whatever decision we made. We took his advice and returned the following Monday, specs in hand. Miller didn't have my first-choice color in their inventory so Jay began making some calls to find one. He found one that was close and gave us a price which was more than we had in mind. Meanwhile I had been giving the car on the floor right in front of Jay's desk a second look and realized that it was an acceptable, if not preferable alternative to the color Jay was seeking for us. In fact, with color no longer an issue, it was EXACTLY what we wanted. The fact that Miller owned that car gave Jay a lot more flexibility on the price, and we soon arrived at a number with which we were all comfortable. Last Thursday we took delivery of our 2011 Marine Blue Pearl Forester 2.5X Limited, the culmination of the most positive and stress-free car buying experience I could have ever hoped to have. It didn't stop there; Monday Jay followed-up by phane and email to make certain that we were completely satisfied with his and Miller's service.As Jay so simply put it, "Look, you're here to buy a car and I'm here to sell a car. Let's do what we have to do to make that happen and make everybody happy." It really is just that simple with the right salesman.

They were not pushy when it came to selling me a car, they informed me about the car, and they were willing to list to and address our concerns about the car. As you know the 2011 is a totally different car than the 2005 and this took some getting use to. I returned to Miller Subaru in Lumberton, NJ because of my comfort level there. I was very pleased as a female when I received unpressured service back in November of 1999. I just purchased my second car from Ed Hughes and found him to be just as great as he was 10 years ago when I purchased my new Subaru Forester 2000. He had a 2006 Subaru Tribeca B9 that came in on tradein a short time earlier. As soon as he showed it to me I fell in love with it. It met all my criteria, and was within my budget. I recommend Ed Hughes and the Miller Subaru dealership to everyone. They are truely non-pressure, and all the employees, from the salesmen, to the finance people, to the every-so-important service department are interested in pleasing the customer. I stumbled upon this dealership over the internet while searching for my Saturn Sky convertible. It is located five hours away from where I live in New York, but I can honestly say the experience I had in purchasing my vehicle was well worth the drive. I couldn't have been more fortunate. When I first saw all the great ratings for Miller Subaru, I wondered if Miller was somehow manipulating the ratings. But the ratings did push us to go to Miller. I first called Miller and asked them what the car we wanted would cost. I was quoted a great price, and I was told that I could order exactly the car I wanted if I could wait around 8 weeks for the car to be made in the factory. When we arrived at Miller, we were told that this was in fact not the case. It was too late to order a 2010 model and too early to order a 2011. The discrepancy between what I was told and what was true is a reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5.Miller found the car we wanted at another dealership. We were quoted what I consider a very good price for the vehicle. The buying experience was low-pressure, friendly and professional.Miller had the car driven from the other dealership. I thought after the fact they might have shipped the car by truck since we were buying a new car. But I didn't think to ask at the time, and Miller didn't clarify the point. So the new car we bought had been driven 240 miles when we took possession of it. This is a second reason why I give 4 stars.After we bought car, I received an e-mail from Miller asking us if we were COMPLETELY SATISFIED (their caps) with the purchase. And the e-mail encouraged us to go to dealerrater.com and comment. Miller wanted to get a good rating on the survey that Subaru sends you, and they wanted a good rating here. So while Miller does not manipulate the ratings on dealerrater.com, as I suspected early on, they are Internet-savvy and do what they can to get good ratings. Nothing wrong with that, really. In fact, if other dealers understood how easy it is to go online and report on one's negative experiences for the whole world to read, the dealers might not do some of the things they do.

Had a great purchase experience with Miller Subaru. I had purchased there before, and Jay, the sales rep, remembered by name. He answered my questions, showed me the cars I asked about, and did not pressure me at all. Mark Miller and Ron Buchanan were also very responsive, asking what they needed to do earn the business. Our car buying experience at Miller Subaru was exceptional. Our sales person, Ed Hughes, was extremely knowledgeable. He was a top notch salesman, without being pushy or overbearing. He knew his product line exceedingly well, which was not the case at other dealerships that we visited. My husband worked in the automotive industry at one time, as a mechanic, for a large dealership, so he would have known if Mr. Hughes was not accurate in the information he gave us about the Subaru line. He researched it thoroughly before shopping for one. My father was also a sales person, and I was able to appreciate Mr. Hughes' skills at his craft. When I mentioned that my daughter was planning to go to college for Environmental Sciences, he immediately gave us the specifications that made the Forester a green choice. We were impressed with Subaru's commitment to keeping the planet healthy by not adding to its landfills. When I mentioned that I was a preschool teacher, Mr. Hughes immediately cited the safety features of the vehicle, including back up cameras to prevent running a small child over in a school parking lot. And, of course, he knew exactly what points to make with my husband, who drives a tractor trailer for a living and once worked as a certified mechanic. Mr. Hughes is the main reason that we purchased our Forester from Miller Subaru. He was the first point of contact, and if he was not the complete professional that he was, we would have kept looking. It must also be said that the Business Manager, Joe Gallagher, and the Sales Manager, Ron Buchanan, were equally outstanding. They made a potentially painful process of applying for financing seem effortless. They were able to give us much better terms on our car loan than our credit union could. We know this for a fact, because we went into the dealership to shop, after already receiving a pre-approved car loan from our credit union. Subaru's loan terms included a much lower rate of interest, while asking for substantially less money down. All of the staff that we encountered during our car buying experience at Miller were both friendly and helpful. We will definitely be returning to Miller, and Ed Hughes, for our future vehicle purchases. With two teenaged children, that will certainly be soon!

Recently, I went away from Subaru and Miller in order to get one of those cars that got uber gas mileage. After 4 months, I realized that I really missed my Subaru and the dealer experience I got from Miller (and from Subaru as a car company). Considering what I purchased, I thought I might be stuck with the car. I called up Jack to see if he could help me out. He was able to get me into a 2010 WRX Limited. This is the second car I've bought from Jack and the third one from Miller Subaru. Jack is a great salesman. He knows the car line well. Jack was never pushy and always followed up with me as he was locating the exact car I was looking for. Ron was able to get me the best number he could for my trade. They were upfront and honest and I appreciate that. Jack and Ron were able to work a deal to have me get out of the car I regretted and into something I wanted. All of my cars have been serviced at Miller as well so I have experience with their service department. I have never had to have a repair done twice. I felt very comfortable from the minute I walked in the door. I did not feel any stress or pressure to walk out with a car the very first time I went to this dealership and the very first time I learned about and test drove the vehicle I ultimately purchased. Since I was looking for a new car for awhile I can tell you personally that I did not have this experience in the other dealerships I went to and it made the experience at Miller relaxing and enjoyable. Also, and I don't recall his name at the moment, the person who did all the paperwork with me was wonderful as well. Everything was explained, it wasn't rushed and he allowed me to ask questions and reread things I needed to read and understand before signing. I was also introduced to the manager of the dealership and as a whole I felt that they really appreciated my business. Most importantly to me is because of the atmosphere at Miller I walked away with the car that I wanted with the extras I wanted and not with things I did not need which unfortunately happened to me in the past elsewhere. I will also now be using Miller Subaru for all of my service on my vehicle and will highly recommend them to family and friends.

Very intelligent, laid back, low-key non salesman type dealership. Jay was very informative and thorough. I drove over an hour away to get my 2009 impreza after my local dealer failed to look properly for my car using his dealer network connections which did nothing and turned up no car and wasted time, this was the last black model around for over 100 miles.
