Called Teresa to help our daughter who was stranded in Columbia and she assured us at 6 AM on Saturday morning that they would call a towing company and pick up the car. At 7:30 she stated that they wound be there soon. After not hearing back from her and not getting a call from the towing company, called a local towing company and was told that they were originally contacted to get the car but Midland called it off. After wasting 5 hours and no explanation from Midland took it to another service center. Thanks to Midland, our daugther is now stuck in Columbia and we have to go pick her up. Worst service experience ever and a totally incompetent staff.

Midlands Honda and our salesperson Charles Green really helped us find a car right for my wife at our pricepoint. Charles even went above and beyond to help my wife connect her bluetooth phone to the car so she could make calls and listen to her music. He was very patient as he explained the process to us both. Charles got us into a car- Honda CRV that was at our price point with all the features we wanted. Overall a 5 -star experience and a 5-star salesman! Definitely recommend Midlands Honda.

Almost two months ago I traded my 2013 Mercedes C300 in for a 2016 Honda Accord Coupe. My salesman was awesome but as for the finance department I can't say the same. They promised me a 20 day pay off for my previous car. 20 days later no payoff, 30 days later no payoff, 45 days later no payoff! I found out at the 30 day mark the paperwork was done wrong and I had to resign everything. Two weeks later I went back to redo the payoff sheet and go figure, they never called my bank to confirm the correct amount. Here it is a week before the payment on the Mercedes is due AGAIN and two weeks before my new payment is due. When I go ask I get the run around and when I call and leave messages, no one returns my calls. I'm sick and tired.

We had previously discussed with him the possibility of trading in our current Hondas for two new ones. Lonnie Lair was extremely helpful and friendly. She had everything in order for our appointment when we arrived and was very easy to talk to. I HATE high pressure sales. Lonnie and her manager were very patient with me and knew when to give us space to talk amongst ourselves. They fed us grilled burgers and dogs and even have a small movie theater, arcade (with real arcade game machines), and miniature golf. And it's all free for car shoppers and service customers. What a place!!! I will call Lonnie first for my next purchase.

I saw the 2016 Accord Coupe w/ Touring packing online and initiated contact Angela. I took a test drive with Queen and that experience was pivitol in my decision to buy. Queen explained every feature, then related each to how it would prove useful. Dillon was reasonable during negotiations and I discerned a fair deal considering the research I had conducted.

I would recommend Midlands Honda to anybody. From the time we arrived and was greeted in the parking lot until we drove off in my 2014 Honda Accord. Angela was wonderful to work with and very personable. Darold was great in explaining all of the warranty type things we could add to our purchase. Ron Morrison priced my '15 Pilot EXL (with 17500 miles) at $24K and another dealership offered me $30400. When asked how he came to those figures he couldn't answer. When we asked to speak to someone higher than him, he HUFFS up from his chair and ROLLS HIS EYES at me. He had a VERY sarcastic tone the whole time we were questioning him about the offer for my car. Initially shopping for a used car but ended up buying a new one. During the test drive of the used car, I noticed vibrations and noise but the salesman denied hearing/feeling anything. Not impressed with denial. Almost left without shopping further.When taken to the sales office, I expressed an interest in a car of a different color that was parked next to the one I test drove. They did not know about it. Turns out the lot manager was unloading a truck, processing them for the sales lot and bringing them out. I had to take the salesman out to the lot again to show him there were other colors.During the finance process, my agent was pleasant to deal with, but I had to let him know I had already been approved for a lower rate through another lender that this dealership actually uses. I think sometimes they could probably do better for their customers if they screened lenders better.

I found myself in need of transportation after taking my vehicle in for what I thought was a simple repair. If it could be repaired, I would be out of it for at least a month. That along with the costs had my single parent household in a bad perdicament. I had been contacted by Ms. Angela Chase to come into Midlands Honda a week prior but I was unable to keep the appointment. She was vigilant by staying in contact with me. I was actually dreading going because with everything else going on, I could not handle the rejection. However, with our backs against the wall and in defensive mode my sons and I went to The dealership on Memorial Day. Ms. Angela Chase executed excellent customer service. She is very friendly, persistent and real. I knew I had credit issues. And she handled us with the utmost courtesy, care and respect. Mr. Steve Goldstein was was able to get us an excellent offer for our trade. He was superb in breaking down the car buying process including how to use this as an opportunity to rebuild my credit. Both of them were concerned about the hazardous vehicle we were employing and they would not give up until they were able to identify a payment , terms and vehicle that was to our satisfaction. And last but not least Mr. Dustin Adams. Mr. Adams made the financing process transition with ease. Together this group of excellent professionals made us feel comfortable with and at ease with the process. We were able to get a safe, efficient vehicle that will service our family for quite a while. Hats off to Midlands Honda's Angela Chase, Steve Goldstein and Dustin Adams for "making it do what it do" in their execution of superb customer service, friendly atmosphere and understanding care towards my family !

My experience at Midlands Honda was amazing. I purchased my first car with the help of the wonderful employees that worked there (Queen and Steve!). They were able to help me find exactly what would work for me, without being pushy or aggressive. We compromised on a fair price and I am very happy with my purchase. He tried to sell "extended protection" with attempts to explain that new Honda Odyssey not as reliable as the old one I had previously. When I refuse, he yelled I deprive him of his money, explaining that the goal of the dealership is to sell services and warranties, but not Honda cars. Next things get even worse. About a month after the purchasing, it appears that the dealership did not register the car and inform my insurance agent. As a result of negligence , I drove almost a month without insurance and registration. As expected, did not get any apology from Midlands Hinda.

I completed a true car inquiry about the new 2016 Civic EXT. I received an email from Joshua D' amico with his contact information within minutes. We made contact via telephone. Mr. D' amico quoted me a price and never waiver from his original quote. I arrived at Midland's Honda meet Mr. D'amico and test drove a Civic. I must say I was very impressed although Mr. D'amico was busy at my time of my arrival, I waited in the waiting room. The waiting room was very clean and had complimentary popcorn and coffee. The movie "The Martian" was playing in the movie area. They had several video games which were great for me and my 5 year old daughter. They older Atari games brought back my childhood. Mr. D'amico was a very knowledgable salesman that I have meet in the past year during my hunt for my new car. He answered most of my questions before I had a chance to ask them. He knew about the car I was their to see and several other cars on the lot. He made the paperwork portion effortless. He explained every document fully and I never felt uncomfortable.I picked up my new Civic a week later due to some custom items I add, Mr. D'amico wasn't able to meet me for pick up due to an emergency. Latoya Hills filled in is his absents and was equally as great. She was caught blinded since I never dealt with her before and wasn't aware of all previous conversations. This didn't stop her world class service. She made sure everything was perfect and I was completely satisfied. She help me set up my Apple CarPlay and synced my iPhone. I was very impressed with my whole experience at midlands Honda. Thanks again to this great outstanding staff.

What could have been a most stressful experience was made quite smooth by a very experienced seller, Henry Adams. He took me by the hand explaining every detail of how the purchase would work and what was required of me. His patience was amazing for someone who knows little about cars. I brought my car that I just bought from the dealership into the service department to get some prearranged maintenance. They took great lengths to take care me. At one point, I noticed that I was missing the pressure cap for one of my tires. The service rep pointed out that I had brought it in that way, but then without hesitation, she went and got me one from the garage and put it on for me. I was very impressed!

Josh responded immediately to our e-price request and set up an early morning appointment which was convenient for us. He arrived on time to show us the car we had asked about. He talked in depth on the safety and quality of the vehicle, which was very informative. He answered all questions we had and even arranged for Honda to tow in our vehicle so that we could get some trade in value since the engine had died. He has since followed up several times to see how we were enjoying the car and to let us know when the accessories were in and able to be installed. Rochelle was very friendly and helpful in showing options for extra accessories to personalize the car to our liking. She explained the products offered and did not try to push us into any sales. She even took us out on the showroom floor to show examples of accessories we were considering but could not visualise. Jake the finance person we spoke with was knowledgeable and efficient. He explained the available packages for service etc and was very personable and friendly. We had our college student along for the learning experience of buying/financing a vehicle and he took time to explain to her the importance of a credit score as well as other information which will help her in the future when she gets ready to purchase a vehicle. We were able to drive away in our new Honda Fit in just a few hours because the staff readied the car as we were going thru the process. Overall it was a very low pressure, friendly, no stress experience.

I am not sure if anyone else every had this experience at Midlands Honda before. I am truly looking for feedback because I am totally stunned. If I am wrong please let me know. I had an experience on Friday, April 29, 2016. I received a call 2 hours earlier that my car was ready for pick up. I arrived and was greeted by my Service Advisor, paid for my repairs and stepped out into the area where you drop off / pick up your car. I did not see my car parked in the area as usual so I stood, looking and waiting for it to be driven in through the back side of the area. I stood there and waited for at the least 5 to 8 minutes before I finally asked a young lady if she had seen my Service Advisor. She had not. I happened to look out towards the front of the service area and there sat my car. After I noticed my car I asked another Service Advisor if he had seen my Advisor and was told she had left for the day. That was not what upset me. I was upset by what I was told when I spoke with 2 Service Advisors who told me We do not tell customers where their cars are parked. Granted when your car is parked in the drop off /pick up area there is no need for them to point out your car because you will see. I was told by my husband who dropped me off that he saw the car when they drove it from the back and parked it there. If I am blowing this out of portion please let me know

Whole process took a little longer than we're used to (we were at the dealership for 4 1/2 hrs.) and could possibly be streamlined but it was a Saturday and they were very busy so we'll give them a pass. Lifetime drivetrain warranty at no extra cost and 0.9% financing were a plus.

I went here after my wife totaled lost her vehicle in a wreck. We were just looking around but the staff here made up so comfortable with being there that we ended up buying a vehicle the same day. They even took our kids to the TV area and game room while we walked the lot. No pressure selling or car salesman standing over you. They let you walk the lot FREELY..... I loved it. Best experience I ever had at a dealership. We ended up coming back to get a part fixed on the car and they even greeted us by our names when we entered. ( They remembered our names)... lol... That's shows to me that it was more then just selling a car to them, they said we were part of the Honda family and meant it. Well I ended up going back weeks later because my car put me down and I also wanted a Honda like my wife car. Guess what, they made it happen.. I wish I can give these guys and ladies 20 stars . There are just to awesome....

I traded an 09 acccord in last july, I asked for payments close to what I was making in the $300s I had about $300 in negative equity. What I learned from a different dealer was they (at midlands honda) could've shown me a less expensive car to help with the negative equity. Instead they said they had to put me in something new to help with the negative equity that was just added to my payment anyway. I'm in a 2015 civic which is too small for my family (the sales person said it was the same size as an accord, which i should have walked away then) and I cant get out of it because I would be upside down. They appraised the civic, didn't tell me how much it was appraised, showed me a 2013 accord that I test drove and love just to say I couldn't get it(when i said i didn't have anything to put down) but they could get me into a 2016 and keep my payments the same. I found out a few days later (from another dealership) that I would be upside down. When midlands honda called they said I would need to put down $6000 and they never mentioned it while i was there and never got an appraisal amount from them. Lesson Learned!!!!

I went into midlands honda to buy a new car and was greeted by the best customer service ever. Everyone was pleasant and friendly. I was then introduce to Mr. Charles Green were he asked me what type of car I was looking for and began the short application process which took about 10 mins. I was shocked that this did not take long from previous car dealership I have been to. Once everything was a go we proceed to look at cars and again Mr. Green was very knowledgeable and helpful with the car I was looking for. The overall experience here was nice and for the first time I can say I actually enjoyed buying a cat from here the staff is very friendly and helped with any questions or concerns I had. Also the fianace team was very informative and friendly and answer all the questions I had.Overall if anyone is looking to buy a new vehicle I would definitely recommend going to midland honda and seeing Mr. Charles Green.

Went to simply check out the dealership as all of my contact had been through calls or e-mail. I had a test drive scheduled the coming Monday but decided to go on a Saturday to simply see where the dealership was and possibly get an earlier test drive. The main person I spoke with JT was busy with another customer but had another salesman show me around and take me on a test drive. Soon after I bought my new civic! I actually came to the dealership alone and couldn't find a way to get the car home as I was in a rental and JT actually followed me all the way home so that I could get the rental and the new car back safe and sound. If you go to this dealership start your experience off right by going online and dealing with James Thompson. In my experience he was the first car salesman who did not pressure, had a great demeanor and even allowed for me to walk away for a couple hours without harassing me. This is what drove me to want to give him my business. Wish they were all like that.The only thing I would suggest is that in the finance area No means No. Don't tell me how stupid my decision is just accept the No.

I went in to purchase a honda accord sport that I really liked on line. I went in with a 700+ credit score, sizable down payment , and outside financing established. I had a great interaction with the car salesman. I was on my way to purchasing the vehicle. He actually had the deal. The management is where I had a problem. Like I said I had financing already in hand but they wanted to see if they could beat my financing. They ran my credit and the manager told me I had a problem on my credit. There was a car issue I had many years prior. How could I have an issue when I purchased a home and a vehicle with a 700+ credit score after this "problem" ? A 23000 $ (internet price) vehicle went to almost 28000$ if I financed through them. When I declined the deal the manager had an attitude. He told me I couldn't get a better deal anywhere else. Needless to say I left him with his mouth open. It was no more than 1 minute later they called to offer me the price it should have been. Goodwin Honda in my hometown provided me with professionalism and a fair purchase price I was looking for. I'm very satisfied with my vehicle.

When we pulled up to the dealership on a Sunday afternoon, I had a car hangover. I had spent all day Saturday going from one dealership to another driving every SUV that they have on the market. We decided to try Midlands Honda because they had 2 2016 Pilots available that I loved. When we got out of the car, Tony White greeted us and quickly began to ask pertinent questions to understand what our needs were. During the test drive, Tony pointed out all of the safety features and explained to me the differences between the two models that I liked. I decided on the Touring model because it was so luxurious and hit on all of my technology and safety needs. We were able to quickly agree on the price for our trade-in and the Pilot. We had to wait a little while to get in to see the Finance Manager, but that wasn't a big deal because of all the amenities that the dealership has. They have an area where kids can play, popcorn machine, drinks area, and comfy chairs to watch TV while you wait. When we got in to see the Finance Manager, Jake Gonzalez, he was great. He quickly got all of our paperwork in order and papers signed. Overall, it was an excellent experience and I would recommend Midlands Honda and Tony White to my friends and family.

April 2012, I purchased a 2012 Honda Accord V6 which now has a settled class action suit due to its faulty engine. During my recent NEGATIVE experience with the service department and avoiding an accident during my vacation due to an inferior part, I decided to purchase a new Honda Accord while waiting for the service department to repair my car. I must commend Mr. Green for providing the utmost professional and pleasant sales experience that I have ever encountered. He was very knowledgeable of the product and addressed all questions and concerns with ease. Mr. Green's attitude and personality turned my most recent negative experience with the service department into a smile!! I made an appointment giving specifics regarding what needed to be examined on my car. I dropped off my car early (7 a.m.) and did not receive a phone call regarding my service needs until 1 p.m. Of course, they did not fix my car that day. They said that they needed to order parts, my car would be fixed the next day. No one called the next day and I had to make a follow up call. Not only did they forget to order the parts, I was now without a car for a second day. Additionally, I had guests coming to town and had plans for Friday. By Friday morning, they STILL had not called, and again, I initiated the phone call only to have a ready car after noon. By then, my Friday plans with my guests were ruined. They never offered a loaner, they never apologized for the inconvenience, and there were service charges for parts that I have never seen on other Honda dealer invoices. I will not go back.

My very first Honda purchased new and the AC has no freon. I'm told, they come from the factory like that all the time. Hmmmmm great confidence booster there. So 2 weeks after purchased it had to have freon added. Fast forward 3 months during a heat wave and once again the new 2015 Honda Fit is almost out of Freon BUT THIS TIME THERE IS A LEAK. Yea, I'm sure the leak was there the first time but no one cared to checked. Now I get to drive this brand new car that is costing me a nice bit of change a few more days with no air until the part comes in. And oh goodie, I get to use some of my precious little vacation time to sit for hours in the dealership while it's being fixed because I do not have a spare vehicle and oh wonders, my friends and family also work and cannot cart me around! Not a way to win over a customer for life Honda. I should have stayed with Toyota....sucked in by the stats on the good looking Fit and paying dearly for it. I think this issue sets the tone for how this car will be for as long as I own it. Sad......so very sad that I stepped outside my previous car family into this one that I'm sure will not bode well for me!

Bought a CRV from them almost 4 years ago, stopped by with my daughter 3 months ago since she was about to turn 16 and we were buying her a vehicle for her 16th birthday, then I went there a couple days ago, and it's like they had a totally different staff, the salesperson and manager that I worked with was no longer there, the new salesperson told me that they had both been fired, I told him that it was disappointing to hear, then he tells me that it's no big deal, this dealership fires people all the time!!! so that should have been my 1st clue to leave, since that shows that obviously this place doesn't care about it's employees. Then we weren't allowed to walk around the lot, he told us that I needed to tell him what we wanted and he would go get it!!!! What?!?!?! We don't know what we want, that's why we wanted to look. I asked him if he had a list of cars he said no and kept trying to get our information and put into his cell phone.....We were so frustrated by this point that I told him we would come back another day, he said he needed to go get his manager, his name was Chris, he was a joke, he said that he was the GM, he talked to us like we were interrupting his lunch or something, almost like it was a privilege to purchase a car from there...Never in my life have I had such a bad experience at a dealership and I had to apologize to my daughter who was so excited about looking at cars and being able to pick one out. We went to the honda dealer in Lexington and had an excellent experience and she is loving her brand new Accord.

Midlands apparently will not take a credit card for the purchase - first car that I have ever purchased in 20 years where the dealership would not take a credit card. Additionally, the personnel in the business office was very rude, grumpy, and disrespectful.

I'm sad to say that I sent my husband to buy a new Honda Pilot today, but he came home without one. While he said the salesman was nice, the company misrepresented itself by posting a price simply used to lure people in. The vehicle in question was listed with a final price 32,500 yet my husband was quoted 38,000 due to "upgrades" like rain gaurds and running boards. This is false advertising. He was also offered $1000 less than kelly blue book for my trade in..$6500. The car was also listed as new, however, a car with 7000 miles, is not a new car. We went to Vic Bailey Honda in Spartanburg. What you see on their website is exactly what you get at the dealership. They have a no-haggle pricing system and give fair trade-in values for your car. I left with a 2015 Honda Pilot.. Less than 100 miles, heated leather seats, sunroof, DVD, and more for 32,000 and they gave me 8,700 for my vehicle. Make sure to ask for John M. Perhaps they should focus less on contests and more on car sales.

I bought a new 2015 Honda Fit Ex from Andre and the experience was great!
