Don't waste your time on this place. Walked in with a car in mind. Immediately I was told price for this car is listed incorrectly online on 3 different sites somehow. Test drove and spent 3 hours with the salesman trying to do simple math on the cost of the car as manager kept getting it wrong.They changed the online price while I was at the dealership to reflect the correct price, which was even more than what he quoted in the beginning. I checked online this morning and "magically" it went back to the original price I saw from the beginning. Sneaky people, don't waste your time.

Last week I decided to trade in my 6 year old Nissan Murano for a newer vehicle, and with the help of Lynette Garcia and Michael Hamadi, I was in a brand new Nissan Rogue within a few hours. Lynette was very helpful in initiating the trade-in, reviewing my options and ensuring I was comfortable and happy with the vehicle I would be driving away with. When negotiations began, I was introduced to Michael Hamadi. who was unbelievably kind, helpful and worked with me until I was comfortable with the terms. I am very happy with my Nissan Rogue and to be honest, they provided the best experience I've ever had in purchasing. or trading in a vehicle. I recently dealt with Middletown Nissan and I am beyond satisfied with the experience. I had gone to executive Nissan with a dilemma (I was well over on my lease miles and did not want to have to pay a lot for another lease). Executive Nissan gave me an offer I wasn't happy with so I headed to Middletown! I worked with Saad and Mike who were both great!!! They worked with me on getting me into a car I wanted (2016 Nissan Rogue) within my budget. I highly recommend Middletown Nissan and plan on continuing my business with them. I drove away happy and smiling, much better experience with them than I expected! :)

I would like to thank Michael Hamadi of Middletown Nissan, for his help when it was time for me to lease a new car. Although I ended up not leasing my car from Middletown, Michael went above and beyond in his helping me to get my dealer to give me the best possible deal and offered to beat it if they did not give me fair value on my trade in.I originally contacted Middletown Nissan because when the other dealer ran my Carfax, there was a mileage discrepancy in it, and for that reason, they were balking on giving me full trade-in value on my car. I bought the old car at Middletown, and when I called Middletown and explained this, Michael promised that he could clear this up and get me full value on my trade in.I was already committed to leasing the new car at this other dealer, and gone as far as putting down a deposit, so was very reluctant to break the deal. Michael, offered to beat their deal by more than the deposit I put down. Because of this, the other dealer relented on the original low offer on my trade in, and gave me the true trade-in value on my old car.I am very thankful to Michael for all of his help. He was very attentive, and quickly wrote back to me several times when I contacted him. He is truly, a professional in the automobile industry, and he puts the customer first. When it comes to buying or leasing my next car, I will avoid the hassles and make Middletown Nissan my first choice.

I can't say enough good things about our experience at Middletown Nissan, especially our salesman Dean G! I came in to see a used Rogue I saw on their website, and Dean was just wonderful. He was incredibly knowledgeable and went above and beyond during the whole process, from holding the vehicle for a few days without me having to sign any paperwork or put down any money until I could come back in with my husband, to staying late when we came back to make sure we were able to drive off the lot with the car that night. And the kicker...he had just started working there a month ago!!! He just genuinely loves helping people and really knows everything there is to know about Nissans. We couldn't have asked for a better car-buying experience! If you're looking for a car go to Middletown Nissan and ask for Dean!

I cannot say enough good things about this dealership. When we found a vehicle that we liked on their lot, we called ahead to ensure that it had a specific feature. When we got there, it was determined that it did not. However, without skipping a beat, the sales team agreed that if we wanted to purchase the car, they would have that feature put in at no cost to us. The sales team of Bob Hahn and Tony were fabulous, and we felt really great about purchasing the car from Middletown, especially since we had a very bad experience at another local dealer. We did end up purchasing the car and the finance office (Theo and Steve) were nothing short of spectacular, right down to staying late to redo our paperwork for a better deal. Even our introduction to the service and parts department was smooth. We had an appointment immediately the next day for the installation of the feature we wanted, and in addition, they ordered some touch up paint for us. As minor as it is, I also want to say how awesome Darlene was at the front desk. She was friendly, helpful, and kept me company while I was waiting. Truly a rockstar!We could not have asked for a better experience, and having bought 5 cars in the last 9 years, this is absolutely the best experience we had. We will definitely be back and plan on recommending Middletown Nissan everywhere we go. Thank you guys!

The car buying process can be both stressful and unnerving but the staff of Middletown Nissan have made this process incredibly easy and effortless. I came in to look at a specific car that I'd seen on the website and was greeted by both Sid and Tony. They were professional and informative while making the whole process anything BUT overwhelming. Sid took me for a test drive and answered my questions quickly and accurately, while explaining certain features that I was unfamiliar with in such a fashion that I could actually understand ( considering I admittedly know very little about cars). I'm very new to the car buying process so I was put at ease by the way he walked me through what steps to take and listened to my concerns and queries with patience. I will be coming back on Saturday to hopefully finalize the deal and am greatly looking forward to it! If you have to buy a car, buy it from Sid at Middletown Nissan!!!

I filled out a application online because I have credit problems and I saw that they had quarantined approval. The next day I get a call stating I was pre approved so I make an appointment go in fill out more paperwork they run my credit ten times come back tell me they got a bank to approve me for up to 11000 the salesmen takes me out in a car for a test drive I love the car we go back and he tells me it will be about 20 mins. After waiting forever he comes back to tell me they won't have a answer today and that the car I drove won't work so I leave thinking I won't be getting a car. Next day I get a email from them so I call because now I'm confused speak to someone who tells me that they have me down for a brand new car with rebates being used as downpayment but bank wants a little more so after saving up for a week and making another appointment I go in to find out that the lady I spoke to is no longer there and they don't know why I was told what I was, but they would see about getting me into a car that they wouldn't mind taking a loss on, again running my credit and a hour and a half later still no car and they send me home again saying they would call me. Well I told them forget it because I was led to believe I was getting a new car now I have to settle for what they want to take a loss on. They should have honored what I was promised and made a point of getting me a answer instead they were sending me away again. They are liars and need to talk to their employees about making promises they don't intend to honor. I will be reporting them to the BBB for ruining my credit even more while they lied to me and ran my credit again. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone I know.

I am writing this on behalf on my parents Ron and Joyce Lucco who this Tuesday purchased a 2013 Nissan Frontier. They have been searching for awhile now and even looked at some of the new vehicles but another year rolls by. This month they started their search again and came to your dealership. They were very very pleased with the whole process and asked for my input. My parents are in their mid 70's and are a little nervous about the whole event. Sid was the salesman and I can not say enough kind things about this fellow. He treated my parents extremely well and explained everything to them. Various online reports and pricing was openly showed to them. Basically the same thing I was doing. Sid and the manager gave them a very fair price. Sid went above and beyond to get the truck detailed the day I came to look at it on behave of my parents. Sid was an absolute gentleman who was very knowledgeable about the vehicle. He was very concerned about every detail and that everything was as perfect as could be. In the future if a Nissan is on my horizon I will most definitely go directly to your dealership at that very moment. One last comment, the others that we met as we were looking for Sid were just as wonderful. We had pulled in Saturday with the old truck and a small boat after fishing looking for a place to park so that I could take a test drive. We looked a bit funny but a fellow employee saw us and asked if he could help. After we told him our story he described how in the morning salesman meeting we were the two guys stopping in after fishing . Both my Dad and I looked at each other with a smile and it was then I knew this was a great place to buy a vehicle.

We were on a mission to buy my sons his first car (imagine his excitement, 17 yrs old) . We find a car on their internet page and make a deal to purchase. The car had an issue that needed to be resolved. I received a call as I was pulling into the dealership for delivery that the part had to be ordered and it would take a couple of days for it to come in. We decided to take delivery of the car anyway. During this process we discovered that the hands free Bluetooth didn't work so i stopped the deal and requested it be fixed with the other issue before we take delivery (I've played this game before once you deliver your not a priority anymore).I received a phone call the next day telling me that the original problem was fixed but the Bluetooth problem wasn't fixed and it was probably with my phone (of course I disagreed) and that there was an after market Bluetooth system available. I contacted a dealership of the make of the car and was instructed on how to check if the phone was compatible, and it was. The problem was with the car. The salesperson called again and we made another deal to except a 60 day 3000 mile bumper to bumper warranty in the place of the Bluetooth working. Note, the vehicle was not coming with a warranty at all, being sold as-is.We go to the dealership the next day to deliver the vehicle. I inspect the car it seems to be good. As we were walking back into the dealership talking, i said "and there's two keys like the internet description stated, correct? " The reply was no just one key. I stopped the deal again. I was told that the internet didn't say that there were two keys. I brought it up on my phone and it clearly stated two sets of keys. After dealing again, they're going to get me another key. We move to another office to finalize the paper work. I'm handed the contract and as i'm reading it the warranty has a clause in it stating they will not warranty any pre-existing electronic issues ( The car fax made mention of the cars electrical system being checked two times). I stopped the deal for the last time!I'm still trying to understand how the vehicle was registered with a plate on it in my name with out my signature.I'm one not to write reviews, but feel its time to start! This experience was supposed to be a fun one for my son and myself and all it was was another life lesson on how you constantly have to question everything and become a fatalist. It's terrible how this world has become!!

I'm not the type of person to write a review about anything, but the experience I've had with Middletown Nissan has been nothing but a nightmare. They put me into what I thought was a nice car, only to find out (after purchasing) it was just full of problems. I have only had my car for a good 2 months now, and I am on my way to my 6th service repair. Oh not to mention all of the services I have gotten are not covered by my warranty, even tho I'm paying extra monthly for a more coverage warranty. This place has scammed me for my money and I would not reccomend this place to my worst enemy.

Bait and switch - stay away. After finding a used car that Middletown Nissan had, I called to set up an appointment to test drive. I was welcomed the same day with an appointment with the sales dealer. Upon arriving I was immediately greeted and was asked several questions (before seeing the car). They asked me what my credit was, what I did for a job, etc. Thinking I was actually going to see the car, I answered the questions. Once done with the questions, I was told to wait for a few minutes while they located the vehicle for me. I waited, waited and waited... then waited some more. Every 10 minutes the sales agent would come over and tell me they lost the keys to the car and didn't have access to test drive it. After a good 45 minutes of waiting in the lobby, the sales man comes over and says "lets try a Nissan". This is bait and switch... the used car I was looking to see was too good to be true. What dealer 'looses' the keys to a car??? They told me they felt bad and would drive the car across the state to me to test drive if I was still interested. What dealer 1) looses the keys 2) offers to meet the customer across state to test drive. On my way out not even the receptionist said bye. The goal here was to get me in with a good deal, then switch the purchase to a Nissan. If I wanted to drive a Nissan, I would have come for a Nissan. All in all, I wasted a hour and a half driving and was one unhappy customer. STAY AWAY. THIS IS A BAIT AND SWITCH DEALER. What a joke.

poor sales team. we went there last night and looked at a car and took it for a test drive we said ok this is the first car she saw and she really likes it and we would probably be back the sales man then said well this car is going to go fast and all just something to keep you there which is i think a horrible sales effort we agreed on a price and said if we come back tonight thats the price... and the sales man said YES.... and so we went on our way and she decided that was the car we went back again looked at the car and again we took it for a test drive and again the saleman said that was the price and then we went inside and the sales MANAGER comes out and said ok guys this is what we came up with (the price on the window of the car) the car is going to be $2,000.00 more than what the salesman said and thats the final answer so i said what happened to the other price and he said oh the salesman made a MISTAKE . so basically they LIED and we wasted all our time with that car..... so at that point i was tired and walked out the door.... so THANKS for the wasted time.... so i do not give them good remarks.

No hesitation towards further detailed specifications in the exact car I was looking at they offered to go look on the spot right then and there. Swin was my salesperson, I cannot recommend him or compliment him enough. He is efficient, friendly, helpful, he listened and acted immediately, after asking what my favorite color is, I responded with whatever color gets me the best deal!, Swin jokingly responded Silver is your new favorite color, he was right! He drove the car to the front of the dealership, and the rest as they say was history ...I purchased the car immediately because Swin listened and brought exactly what I wanted. Assad is the reason me and my family shop here are Middletown Nissan. I remember when i got my first Sentra back in 2006, Mary Chambers was the Finance Manager who went out of her way to get me approved with NMAC and Mr. Kamal for helping me find a car that suited my needs. I have owned my 2014 Rogue for about 1 month now, and I cannot say enough good things about this car. What impressed me the most about the experience of buying this car was the salesman, Luis. Let me tell you that I have had my fair share of horrible experiences at car dealerships with salesman who only wanted to make a deal and didn't care about making your car buying experience enjoyable. Luis was the complete opposite. From the moment my daughter and I walked in, he was informative and supportive. What impressed me the most is that he took the time to sit with my daughter and show her all of the features of this car. I cannot even express how helpful this was. He didn't just push us out the door after we made the deal, he made sure we knew everything we needed to know before we left the dealership. Hands down Luis is the best salesman I have ever dealt with. There is no doubt in my mind that I will buy another car from Luis and this dealership in the future! The Service Dept. did everything that needed to happen, and Mr. Heuser, a Sales Manager, even came over to check that I was satisfied with the work. After a horrible experience at County Line Nissan in Middlebury, I became a bit wary of the car buying process because it had just become so mentally exhausting. My first experience with Middletown Nissan was with James Gomes who I communicated with through phone conversations and e-mail at first. James was very helpful and professional in providing all the neccessary pricing information regarding the Nissan Maxima I was interested in in addition to my trade-in. When I actually went to the dealer a day later James was not working so Ric Casella was the Salesperson I began to deal with. The only word I can describe Ric as is Outstanding! This was the fourth vehicle I was in the process of buying and Ric, BY FAR, was the easiest, nicest, honest car salesperson I have ever worked with. I would like to make a few comments about Middletown Nissan in Middletown Connecticut. I have been bringing my cars to Middletown Nissan for service approximately 17 years. Our family owns 1997,2000, & 2009 Nissan Altimas. The service on these cars has been exemplary. More than once I thought that the 1997 was at the end of it's life but it was rescued by Scott in the service department. Mario in parts always looks for ways to help by finding good used parts when necessary. I also had a 1987 Nissan Stanza that had 262,000 miles on it. The only reason it was gotten rid of was that the body rusted out. The car was still running great. I am going on 67 years old and this is the best car dealership that I have ever dealt with. From sales to service to parts the people at this dealership are first class. I would recommend this dealer to anyone looking to buy a Nissan vehicle. Thanks very much, Mike DeTuccio

Was not in the market to buy a car but SWIN has done such an excellent job that I came home in a pathfinder the same day. I was just looking at pathfinders outside in the parking lot when Swin came up to us while it was pouring rain and gave his own umbrella to us and made his way back to the dealership to grab a key to take a test drive on a car. He is just a dedicated young man, he answered all our questions and showed us everything about the vehicle and I could not say no to him when he presented me with the price. I recently moved to Middletown. My longer commute to work in New Haven made me think I should look into a SUV for better travel in snow. I decided to go down and take a look at what Middletown Nissan had to offer, even though my current lease was not quite up. A young man was in the parking lot and asked if I needed help. He told me he was was not a salesman, but would be happy to answer any questions and get a salesman to help me. I believe he was a mechanic and I think his name was Mark, but I was so impressed that he took the time to help me when he could have just gone back to his work. He directed me to TK, who took me on a test drive and I was sold! TK provided a seamless transfer into my new lease of a 2013 Nissan Juke. I have to say i was thoroughly impressed by the entire team at Middletown Nissan. This had to be one of the best car buying (leasing) experience I have ever had. From taking the time to go over the car details, the manual, and all its operations to a tour of the facility. Other than the fact that there was no sale, this was a good experience. Everyone we interacted with was nice and even though we did end up waiting for some 10-15 minutes to talk to a salesman, the chairs were comfy and the (free) coffee was actually pretty good (Douwe Egberts) so it was okay. We talked to Syed (I think) who was a pleasant enough guy and knowledgeable about the car we test drove (2014 Nissan Versa S+). After our first visit we went to check out some Kias, and ended up coming back the same day thinking we'd be driving off that day with a Versa. However, when it came to price, Syed would not budge an inch and we ended up not buying since we thought that, although low for a new car, the price was still too high for a car with crank windows, manual adjust side mirrors, no central (or keyless entry) locks and a very cheap-plasticky look. We ended up buying a Hyundai Accent the next day.

I did not complete my last review and now I will tell you how my experience was fantastic. I met with Russ B, who is located in the used car lot across from the main building. I was feeling comfortable within a few minutes because he is laid back and friendly, not pushy and I did not feel as if I had to walk away and I did not feel as if I was shopping for a new car. I had been driving my Nissan Altima for 12 years and I was ready to say good-bye and fairwell. I test drove 2 cars and they were nice, but still I was not sure, then Russ said I have a car I think you will like. When I saw this car I wanted it, it was so beautiful and clean and had all the bells and whistles that my previous car did not have. I was elated within 2 minutes of seeing this car, but still I was not sure if I could afford this vehicle. We spoke about it and all of a sudden I said to myself I really want this car. This is when I was introduced to Dave J and he and Russ made it happen for me. Today I am driving my Nissan and I am so very happy that I stopped at this car dealership. My friend and I just finished a scheduled test drive with another dealer and on our way home. We dropped by the Middletown Nissan because my friend wanted to get a regular service for his Nissan. While waiting for him, I thought why didn't I see some cars. I had a great experience being assisted by my sales agent TK. He's awesome! After asking for my needs and budget, he recommended two cars to me. I was really satisfied with both of them. TK helped me in the selection process with his comprehensive understanding of cars' functions. So I made the final decision quickly without much hesitation. It's been 7yrs since I bought a car. And at that time I had my ex with me who handled everything. This time it was just me (single woman) with my sister and 3yo daughter. I had already did my research online a wk prior and I knew I wanted a used (2011) Rogue. Once I got there I was pleasantly welcomed by a salesman outside, T.K. I have to say from the time I got there until I left he was AMAZING. He wanted me to look at the new (2013) Rogues first explaining there wouldn't be that much of a financial difference. I explained what monthly amount I didn't want to exceed and T.K totally listened and on top of that I did end up getting the 2013 opposed to used and I'm sooo happy he helped me make that choice. we purchased a used vehicle, and the first issue was the salesman told us there were 2 sets of keys and after we signed paperwork, there was only 1 set and told to bad. okay, so left dealer and immediately had a few issue in the first few hours. the tpms light was on, stereo stopped working, the door chime didnt work, on-star wasnt working, a/c didnt work, rear tire went flat and passenger wiper did not work at all and it started raining. called dealer and told them, they said bring it in. brought it in 4 times total over 3 weeks. the a/c needed a compressor which they eventually repaired, the wiper transmission was stripped out and replaced ( missed that on safety check), the tire had a plug on sidewall at corner and I was forced to purchase 2 tires as they would only replace 2 because tires no monger made. they broke the wiper cowl panel and refused to fix it when changing the wiper parts. the tech left the air filter box off when changing a/c compressor so i had to pull over on highway, the tech backed into something when at shop and damaged rear bumper and side panel and dealer didnt fix any of it. also tpms had to be fixed by another shop as they couldnt fix the light or reprogram the sensors. the aftermarket stereo the dealer installed was wired wrong and needed a special cable for on-star and door chime which i had to purchase, the vehicle also needed a head unit and 4 speakers as the tech wired the stereo wrong and fried everything out. dealer would not fix the radio stuff either. so all together between the radio stuff, the tires, and the key and fob the vehicle cost me an extra $900 in the first few days, and they tried to use my extended warranty to fix the stuff which is fraud. i love the car and i know things go wrong with used cars but when the dealer creates more damage and refuses to fix stuff after 24 hours of buying it that is just plain rediculous. I have given them numerous times to make good on some of these things, but they dont seem to care. i will be reprting them to the DMV and i cant say enough times DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALER OR USE THEM FOR SERVICE.....HORRIBLE

My husband went to Middletown Nissan to handle business on a car involved in an accident and came home telling me about a car he saw down there. We took a quick trip back before another appointment later that evening, loved the car (Ford Fusion) and due to time constraints didn't have time to finish up so, Davis was good enough to hold the car until we returned the following day to finish off. There were other salesmen that "pretended" to be so busy and didn't want to assist us, however, Vincent Davis came over and offered us some assistance. He completely exceeded our expectations! We were amazed at how personable, funny, and professional he was. He knew what he was doing. We didn't feel like a person would expect to feel when theyre at a car dealership, like "money bags"! can't stress enough how happy we were with his services so much so, I am bringing my mother back to look for her next vehicle. The only drawback for this dealership NOT Davis is there is too much walking back and forth across the street to get certain paperwork done.

The last time I bought a car was over 18 years ago; In my lifetime i have bought 3 cars and they were all purchased as previously owned. Now that I am retired, I wanted to treat myself to a new car, so I could enjoy my new lifestyle, but I dreaded the thought of going from dealership to dealership and searching the web or reading ads. While speaking to a friend in a store, a customer overheard me and suggested that I contact Middletown Nissan and speak with sales associate, Frank Fazio. My initial contact was by phone, where we discussed my personal preferences and set an appointment to test drive some cars. Frank pointed out the features of each car, as I looked them over, and he demonstrated the controls of each car before I started the engine, so I was familiar with the mechanics (things do change in 18 years). My test drive was a route that included local streets, back roads and highway, so I could get a good feel of the car's ride; in between, I asked many questions and received direct answers. I had complete confidence in Frank, due to his courtesy and forthright responses to my questions, and any car buying misgivings that I started out with were quickly dispelled. By the end of the afternoon and test drives, I realized that I did not need to shop around, and I bought a new car. To put customer service over the top, Frank had also arranged financing on site, at a rate comparable to my bank's, he even contacted my agent to conclude the insurance process and he arranged a very fair trade-in value for my current car. Frank Fazio made my new car shopping experience very easy and very pleasant and I am now a very happy and satisfied new Nissan Cube car owner

We didn't have the intention of purchasing a vehicle that day, just to browse and see what our options were. I should mention that we already own a Nissan that we have serviced at Middletown Nissan, where Shylock has always been very freindly and helpful too. I am a bit disappointed in Russell's honesty and lack of follow-up. Purchased a car from him several weeks ago and was only provided one key. I was told he would provide me a second key when he found it or would order me a new key (expensive key fob). Have called him several times and leave messages but got sick of his excuses. Also recently, within 400 miles of purchase the "Oil change required" light required light came despite being told that the oil at Middletown Nissan was changed less than 300 miles prior to my purchase. Either they failed to reset the indicator or did not change the oil. I changed it today and although not the dirtiest oil I have seen I am led to believe that it wasn't changed since the last owner. If Russ can provide me with the second Key Fob as promised, things will be made right and this post will be removed.

I recently was in the market for a used SUV. Not entirely sure what I was looking for I went over to Middletown nissan just to look around. A salesperson Jean greeted me and I gave her my wish list and how much I can afford monthly. Jean brought me over to a pathfinder and was so knowledgeable about the vehicle. She confidently went over all the features on the pathfinder knowing it covered everything on my wish list. She worked hard to get the monthly payments within my budget. Her knowledge, hard work and absolutely sparkling personality made me go from "just looking" to driving home in my wonderful pathfinder! This dealership and their fantastic salespeople (Jean) are A-1 in my book!

Myself and my husband have become loyal customers to Middletown Nissan. They were there for us three years ago when we were under water with a terrible car and helped us find the perfect Altima. Not even a few months later, my Xterra that I had for 10 years finally gave out, so I went to them not ready to give up my car, but they found a new Xterra for me in a day! On this visit we were just going to see what our options were, as our lease was due in May, the Altima. I was still happy with my Xterra, but wnated to check out the new Pathfinder. My husband and I both loved the new pathfinder and after having the car for a day, I new that I was ready to move up. So we ended up buying a new Altima and a Pathfinder on the same day! Tim Weed, our new salesman (our other guy has moved up for Nissan) was fabulous. He literally new every question about my new Pathfinder, or as he and I call it, the "Palace on Wheels"!!! Tim is friendly and had the toughest customer to please, not me, not my husband, but our 5 year old daughter. She asked more questions than we did on the test drive and Tim was always kind and helpful with her. Rob Mayne the GM, is also wonderful. He is a people person, he will always find the answer for his customers and also help you find the best deal! This past weekend I took home my brand new 2013 Nissan Altima. So very happy to say, I finally feel like I can breath and enjoy life again after all I went through the past several years with another car I had purchased from a different dealership. I live in Weston, much closer to Bruce Bennett, but they were not compliant or respectful during my initial visit. After one phone call to Middletown, I spoke with James Gomes and was completely convinced they were the dealership who deserved my business. I was looking to lease a new 2013 Altima that not only was EXTREMELY limited in availability (on a national level), but did not have any promotions considering the 2012 models were still flowing through the lot.Within five days of my initial visit to Bruce Bennett, the Middletown team seamlessly helped me negotiate a price well below invoice for a car barely out of the factory, in a color I wanted and a price a college student could afford. Not only did they make the impossible deal possible, they did it without complaining, causing distress, or making me feel inferior.While we did drive over an hour to get to the location, the entire team greeted me as you would expect a family on Thanksgiving. This experience was incredibly personal, and after working so closely with some of the most impressive team of people, I feel it was undeniably one of the best days of my life. Following the deal close, I have received very welcome follow-up calls from Frank and James, who had been checking to make sure I loved the car and that everything was going well. I cannot even begin to verbalize how appreciative, impressed and grateful I am for this team and truly hope going forward that anyone looking to buy, lease, or even test drive a car, will make Middletown Nissan their choice destination.

From start to finish, our car buying experience was very pleasant, due mostly to our sales person, Dale Richards. He was very attentive, knowledgeable, and made us feel like a priority even though we were only buying a used car. Dale was very easy to work with on price negotiation and made the process a no-pressure situation (which is rare). He was also very easy to get a hold of throughout the whole process (he even gave his personal cell number so we could reach him any time). There were a few outstanding issues with the car prior to delivery, and Dale went the extra mile to make sure everything was squared away upon delivery. Even after taking delivery of the car, we noticed the rear wiper blade was worn and ineffective. So, Dale scheduled an appointment for us to come back and have the wiper blade replaced at no cost (even though this was not an item we listed in the "We Owe" form). Angel was our finance point person, and although he was able to find attractive financing rates, he was somewhat pushy about selling the extended warranty (which we told him from the onset that we had absolutely no intention of buying). I had to say no several times, and he did not want to take no for an answer. That was the only unpleasant part of our car-buying experience at Middletown Nissan.As far as the service department goes, the pre-delivery detailing of the car left something to be desired, and they were unable to completely fix a squeak made by the steering wheel during turns. All other service performed was good.In summary, Dale Richards is one of the best sales people I have ever dealt with. I normally dread walking into a car dealership for fear of being hassled/pressured, but Dale quickly abated those fears and was able to turn the process into a pleasant experience and get us a great deal. I would definitely recommend Middletown Nissan.

Start to finish, we were treated great. Our salesman Bobby Hahn, was clear and accurate with any details regarding our acquisition. He knew we were looking for a bottom line figure with our new vehicle... less trade-in. We left with a bottom line figure to work with. He knew we were deciding between RAV4 and Rouge. He also knew we were going to check out the RAV4 afterward. He understood that fact, and left a door of opportunity open for us. He didn't try to pursued us to "sign now" or lose the deal, "so to speak". No pressure tactics whatsoever. No guilt, no gimmicks... Bobby was "A-1 tops".We went on down the road to check out the RAV4. The RAV salesmen gave us a very good price, but a very bad experience. Arrogant and disinterested to the point where we felt he didn't even want/need our business. We ended up getting a RAV but at Wallingford Toyota not Middletown Toyota... And with the door left open back at Middletown Nissan, we also went back for the Rouge. If it weren't for me not knowing how dependable the Rouge will, or will not be "down the road", we might have bought two Rouges!!! I love the dependability I've experienced with Toyota. But we were THAT happy with the staff at Middletown Nissan so we also went with a Rouge. Plus dollar for dollar, the Rouge has far more options than the RAV4 does. Maybe Nissan's Rouge (and specifically Middletown) will win over this Toyota "lifer" in me. Shari Morris, and Joe DeAngelo were also great to work with. Joe, like Bobby, was no gimmicks, no pressure, clear and concise with all the paperwork. When we finally got our chance to go car shopping after we canceled baseball practice Saturday, I would have never thought we would end up trading in for two new cars by Monday night! In the end, they did "what it takes", to get the sale complete before the march incentives expired.They left us feeling that they truly appreciate us and our business.

Recently my 2004 Nissan took its last breath and I had no option but to purchase a new car. Knowing I wanted another Nissan, the only question was where would I go to make the purchase.A friend had mentioned that they had recently purchased a car at Middletown Nissan and they were very satisfied with the experience that they had at the dealership. My past experiences with other dealerships left much to be desired and very frankly even with what I was told by my friends, I didn't have high expectations of what I would encounter.From the time I walked through the door, I realized that things were going to be different at Middletown Nissan. To begin with I was not "rushed" by multiple sales personnel looking to tell me what they could do for me. Rather, what I experienced was the ability to look at the floor models, the information on the variuos models, etc. When I was ready there were salesmen available to answer what questions I might have.Dale Richards was the Salesman that I worked with in purchasing my new car. From the beginning, Dale answered every question and explained everything that I needed to know about the car I wanted to buy. There was never any pressure to but one car over another. In learning that most (maybe all) of the Salesmen/saleswomen have been with the dealership for a considerable length of time was also very surprising to me. Most people, I would assume, beleive that there is a significant turnover in the sales force at car dealerships. Yet another surprise! On July 5, 2011, my husband and I purchased a used 2010 Nissan Pathfinder from your dealership. As a part of the purchase agreement, we had installed heaters in both front seats and a back-up camera. Our sales specialist, Chef Bob Finnemore, also promised us that our first oil change was on him. He even scheduled our appointment for us and sent us a paper by mail with the date and time for our free oil change (see attached.) The date Bob Finnemore picked for us was not convenient, so I called to reschedule the free oil change appointment and also get the back-up camera fixed. In September, the back-up camera installed before our purchase took over the radio screen. The screen turns completely black with a message stating CAUTION: Screen Image May Appear Reversed. This makes the radio difficult to use, as you must press the screen multiple times to see the time, change the station, etc.This morning, October 14, 2011, I arrived for my scheduled appointment. I was asked to sign an estimate for the oil change. I noticed the posted sign that all coupons must be shown at the time a vehicle is dropped off and not at the time of pick-up, so I showed the man checking in my vehicle the paper Bob Finnemore sent us for our promised oil change on him. I wrote over the estimate that the oil change was supposed to be free and cost nothing. The man told me that he didnt deal with the document I showed him and that I would need to give it to the person that I paid for todays service. The man also noted at this time that he would call the person fixing my camera to see when he would get there. I was confused about the need to call someone to fix my camera, as I had scheduled this appointment weeks ago and expected that the worker would be waiting to repair my vehicle. After about 30 minutes, the man who checked my vehicle into the service department told me that my oil change was completed, but that the person needed to fix my camera would not arrive until noon. Since my appointment was scheduled for 10:30 AM, I expressed my dissatisfaction. He said that your dealership did not realize that my radio was aftermarket and that, because of this, it would need to be fixed by Mobile Electronics. I explained that I had purchased this vehicle with this radio less than 3 months ago from this very dealership. The dealership should have records on what was sold to me. I told him that I would have to call to reschedule, as I needed to get back to work. When I make an appointment, it is with the expectation that required staff will be available to fix my vehicle. When I went to check out with the cashier, I was told that I was being charged $41.22. I showed her the paper provided me by my sales specialist (Bob Finnemore.) She said that it would be no problem, but she would need to check with someone else since she does not deal with coupons. When she returned, I was told that the paper was only for a courtesy inspection and not a free oil changebut the dealership would give me $10 off this price.I am extremely dissatisfied with the service I received from your dealership for numerous reasons: I was lied to about a free oil change on him by your sales specialist, Bob Finnemore. I was not told that the free oil change would be a problem when my vehicle was checked into your service department and was forced to pay $31.22 for the return of my vehicle.When I make an appointment, it is with the expectation that required staff will be available to fix my vehicle. Staff was not available to fix my back-up camera at the time of my scheduled 10:30 AM appointment and would not be available until 12 PM to start the repair.If I want to get my camera fixed, I will need to take off time un-paid again from work and drive 25 minutes again to your dealership.From sales to service, your dealership needs to work on customer service. My entire experience could not have been handled more poorly. At this point, I have lost trust in any of your staff and have no confidence that if I make an appointment with your service department that staff will even be available to fix what needs to be repaired. Follow-up - The company made things right after I posted this review. They have promised to refund the money I had to pay for the oil change and had Mobile Electronics call to walk me through the process to fix my back-up camera/radio. This saved me from having to drive back to the dealership. I appreciate that they made things right and have improved the above ratings by 1 to 2 categories. I have bought at least 5 cars from this dealership, Middletown Nissan, and have sent over 20 of my friends and family to see Ric and Tommy. I have done this entirely because of their astute professionalism, integrity, attention to detail, and their kindness. I have never felt as much a VIP than when I walk into this specific dealership, as compared to the many I have purchased.On my most recent visit, I was taken care of in a big way. I was almost killed several days before in an accident that resulted in my Infiniti being flipped several times before hitting a solid oak tree: Resulting in the car being totaled by my Insurance company. No one else was involved, but the car certainly saved my life. Tommy himself, personally went out and purchased an Infinity M35x for me just on my word. That is certainly not typical of a dealership normal SOP. Ric, as always, was tremendously helpful. There were many features in our new car an Infiniti M35x, and was more like a cockpit in a plane than the console of a car. Ric took his time to explain in intricate detail all the features and benefits, and we were then able to drive out of the dealership in comfort, and with knowledge of the cars many features. I must also advise the professionalism, and kindness, that was bestowed upon us from Dawn. Dawn is the F&I Manager that we have also dealt with in previous transactions. She too, like Ric and Tommy, is a true asset to the dealership. I am so very grateful for their involvement in this specific deal on this purchase and the many others they have done not only for my wife and I, but for my friends and family. I've never had a bad experience at Middletown Nissan since I bought my Altima back in 2009. Every person I've encountered there is helpful, knowledgable, and friendly. Specifically though, Brian Barbour who is a Service Manager at Middletown Nissan is an incredible asset not only to his dealership but to Nissan as a whole. I am usually lucky enough to have the pleasure of dealing with Brian when I have my car serviced, and every time I walk through the door, he remembers who I am and greets me by name! Whether a significant repair, or just something simple, Brian takes the time to explain what is being done to my vehicle in a thorough, understandable fashion. The customer service he provides is second to none. Since buying my Altima, I've moved out of the Middletown area and have several different Nissan dealerships closer to where I now live. Even if it's just an oil change, I'll drive the extra distance to Middletown to get it done because of the way I'm treated at this dealership. I recommend Middletown Nissan to all of my friends and colleagues who are in the market for a new vehicle.

Before bringing my 2007 Altima 3.5 SE in to get its A/C serviced I had brought it in to Valvoline to get the A/C system recharged, when I was told my compressor wasn't engaging and would need a new one. I did some research and was hesitant on bringing it to any dealership period for servicing, and chose this one over Barberino and the one in the Woodbury/Middlebury/Southbury. I've always heard negative feedback from Barberino - always, so I decided to go with Middletwon. I had a positive experience with Middletown Nissan. I thought the diagnostic fee of $180 for the A/C was a little steep at first, however, they told what was going on and that it was my A/C clutch which was bad, which is responsible for turning on the compressor. That was good news to hear, and they didn't try selling me on other extra work to the vehicle. After looking around online the total job came out to a reasonable price for similar repairs done on other vehicles and I was not ripped off on labor prices either - the job was completed in almost half the time they initially told me it would take and they called me first thing when they finished. Total job came out to close to half of what a new compressor could have possibly gone for, so I'm grateful for that. Staff was courteous and polite, and the girl working at the cashier's desk was super cute too - I guess it's always important to leave on a positive note when you've just paid for a repair you weren't expecting to have to do to begin with. I went into Middletown Nissan after only hearing their ad on a local radio station... I called right at 9 am and spoke with Kelly in Sales...She was very welcoming and kind as I asked her (what I thought) were trivial lease questions about an Altima 2.5 and 2.5 S... She let me know that I could come in today or tomorrow, but no matter what someone will take care of me... I decided that I should drive the hour down from MA and check out what seemed like great deals and friendly people... This was my first and last visit to this dealership for service.The cost to perform the scheduled service was $100 more than I was quoted for the same service from another dealership. $176 for labor? Seriously?I should have walked out then and there but I thought I would give them a chance. I may have felt better about it if there was some evidence that they actually did anything. Sadly there is more evidence against it.After the vehicle was finished, I was handed a check sheet of he items that were inspected. Rotated the tires? Not likely. This past winter I had to fill my tires with air when the TPI warning illuminated on my instrument panel. Due to the cold, I couldn't maintain a grip on the valve stem caps and dropped them inside the wheel hub openings, so the rear wheel didn't have stem covers on them. After servicing the rear wheels still don't. This is important because part of what I was charged for was to rotate the tires. Obviously the wheels were never touched even though I was charged for them.The windshield wipers need to be replaced. They chatter and smear the windshield on the upswing. They were checked off as being good. Really? Looks like I will have to pick up replacement blades and change them (I can't image how much I would have paid for a labor charge for that). Part of the service I was charged for was a test drive. It had started to snow and rain after I arrived. When I went to leave the vehicle was bone dry and the window open. Obviously it never left the bay (they might have seen the wipers needed replacing if it had).Makes me wonder what else hadn't been done yet I was charged for. At least the oil looked clean when I checked it.The waiting area is located outside what appears to be a lounge/work area for the sales staff. They may want to rethink that. The door is frequently left open and waiting customers can hear every comment from the sales staff some of which were not too complimentary of their customers.Trying to leave was what did it for me. A vehicle had been parked outside the exit bay door. The was also a vehicle parked in front of the entrance bay door to the left of the exit door. Between the two doors is a sandwich board. Being unable to go anywhere all I could do was wait a minute or two to see if someone would move the car. As I was about to get out to get someone to move it, a staff member walks up and asks if there is a problem. Yes!! So this genius, instead of moving the car has me weave between the door jam, the two cars and a sandwich board to exit this sad excuse for dealership. I am glad they have so much concern for their customers vehicles.

While recently deciding on what make or model vehicle to purchase, I stopped in at Middletown Nissan to grab a Pathfinder brochure. I was greeted by Dale Richards who took the time to print out a model / options breakdown sheet to use while vehicle shopping even though we were not quite ready yet. Once we chose the Pathfinder as our new vehicle, Dale make the whole purchase expierience easy and made you feel comfortable with the dealership. Financing with Dawn was easy and her friendly personality made you feel at home.All in all, Middletown Nissan is a top nothch dealership that has been great to work both in the past 15 years that I have been a customer and with my recent purchase.

This is the second vehicle we have purchased at Middletown Nissan and our overall experience has been very good. The dealership is clean, the staff personable, and the location easy to get to. In particular our salesman this time around, Bob G., was extremely professional, very informative, and easy to work with. He was able to speak clearly and explain all aspects of the vehicles we were considering easily with my wife and I. We ended up comparison shopping over course of two days and were up front with our plans with Bob., In no way did he play any games to get us to stay, but had the confidence in the product he was selling, knowing I'm sure that we would end up coming back (he was right of course!). In short Bob's contribution was key to making the entire experience a complete pleasure.

We recently purchased a new Nissan Versa at Middletown Nissan. I had never bought a new car before so I was not quite sure what to expect and came with my defenses up. Dale immediately put us at ease. He was not pushy in any way and was extremely helpful. I came in knowing which car I wanted to look at and found no pressure to look at the cars that had a slightly more expensive options package. He didn't try to sell us something that we didn't want and instead worked with us to get exactly what we came for. I found the dealership as a whole very friendly and helpful. You can buy a Nissan anywhere, but if you want to get exactly what you are looking for without the feeling that you are being hassled or "bamboozled" then this car dealership is for you.

My Girlfriend and I knew exactly what we were looking for a 2007 Murano SL AWD. We called ahead and they had stock of one. When we approached the dealership I was left unattended on the lot for over 10 minutes until I found this salesman named bob smoking a cigarette in our vacinity. Relucatantly we got stuck with bob. Bob could not explain half the features I asked him about and my Girlfriend loved the car but I wanted to make sure what we were getting. We bought the vehicle due to the fact it was the right vehicle and no one else in town had one like it. Here is the fun part, when my Girlfriend went into take delivery after several calls to the Business Manager for the final interest rate and what not we were promised parts to be replaced. Bob stated all the parts were ordered but he couldnt find the second key fob. My girlfriend took delivery where Bob didnt even go over all the features of the vehicle or show her how to set the memory seats. 3 months later I finally after 4 times into the dealership got the murano to the it was agreed upon on the final delivery slip. Bob is a terrible salesman... you may ask how I know this and i know due to the fact I am in sales and know how the sales procedures should have went. Bob even lied to his manager and said it was a tough sale. We asked him twice on a price and price alone. He only had to go to the sales manager twice once with the first offer and then with a counter offer and bam the deal was done. Once again if your looking for a vehicle stay away from Middletown go to Executive Nissan and get the motor trend guarantee and qualified and caring sales professionals!!

This past few years i visited a few dealers and walked out not happy with their customer service. Dealing with Jody Mitchell was a Phenomenal experience. I purchased a beautiful Nissan Altima coupe that i am in love with. He made sure that he knew exactly what i wanted, even little details that were very important to me. It was amazing to walk into a dealership and Not to be pressured into anything i was not interested in. What a phenomenal experience to come into a dealership and not be pressured into ANYTHING. I purchased a beautiful Murano, and Bob Greatorex was great at listening to what I was looking for, and extremely honest and intuitive about the pros and cons of all options and questions I may have had. Victoria Warner was also very nice and implored me to call if I had any questions at all about my purchase. Albert Frigugliett was comprehensive in his explanations of the financial aspect of our transaction, and not once did I feel condescended to in any fashion on points I had questions about, which I appreciated very much. I will be recommending Middletown Nissan to anyone I know looking for a new car.
