Rashidah Maclin greeted me in your sales lot with so much enthusiasm and excitement about her job and her car lot, it was unbelievable. She made me chuckle from the get go because she was on a mission definitely, but really helped me determine what I was looking for and was a wealth of knowledge on the products she sold. It was just a really nice experience, there was no pressure sales, but a lot of guidance which I really needed. I don't make decisions quickly and she really listened to what I was wanting and just sort of nudged me in the right direction. The entire staff at this dealership was up most friendly and professional. I have already told multiple people about Rashidah, I hope she sees many of my friends in the future. By the way, my daughter bought her jeep at this dealership 2 1/2 years ago so we are repeat offenders!!!

Rashidah Maclin - I was referred to Rashidah from my daughter. My daughter said she was amazing but wow. I had not idea my experience would be this great. THIS CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE WAS SO SMOOTH! I mean SMOOTH LIKE PEANUT BUTTER! I told Rashidah what I wanted and needed and do you know I got what I wanted!! Rashidah worked so hard for me. Rashidah Maclin I stopped in on Wednesday to look at a newer van to replace my 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan. Rashidah meet me while I was browsing. She was smiling and friendly and spent the whole day working to find and get approval for another vehicle for me. I returned in the evening to complete the sale. I would give this place 0 stars if I could. It's been four weeks since I have had it and I have had in into service once a week since the purchase date. The accelerator got stuck on the highway, I had to rush it back because they didn't install the GPS system the bank required, and also to resign the paperwork because they had done it incorrectly. Then had ano appointment set and got told upon arrival that I had no appointment. The transmission is going out and needs fixed badly. I reported this on the 23rd and have been put off repeatedly. I had an appointment today and was supposed to given a loaner vehicle. Instead, they had me driven to Enterprise where I was supposed to pay for a loaner vehicle. Uhhh, my first car payment isn't even due yet, why in the world would I pay to rent a vehicle? Now I am sitting in the parking lot waiting for sales to get here to see if they have the loaner they previously promised me. Honestly, I would go to a buy here pay here lot before I ever ever ever did business with these people again.

Rashidah Maclin - Overall experience was great as not only was it enjoyable but the entire team made a usually stressful situation, way more enjoyable then ever anticipated. Rashidah was extremely friendly and easy to speak to. She made it a lot of fun as should buying a new car while being serious when needed. She asked our opinions and made us felt heard which is obviously important when financing 45K +. I would recommend her to others and have already told coworkers about how after sitting and going back and forth with us for several hours (even after close) on our purchase she then drove to the location we said we'd be just to drop off a parking hang tag for my work. Way way way above and beyond. those types of things are never forgotten and it means the difference between retaining a customer or gaining a new one.

I've worked in the car business before, i'very shopped other dealers before, and I have never been ping-pong ed back and forth like a ball before in my life. First I go in telling them my budget. This is what I need to stay under. Then intelligence them what I'm looking for, I'd like a crossover or suv. They tell me to get where I want, I need a cosigner. So I have a relative that has awesome go out on a limb for me and co sign. They have me look on the lot for a bit while my rep is working with a customer. Ok. The manager comes out and keeps me occupied, I tell him exactly what I'm looking for and where I need to be at price wise. They said we can definetly help you. So they come back out and say they can't get me what I want for my price, and they want me to be ok with 350-400. No. I told them I need to be under 300. So they ask me to test drive a car. I told them ok, I'll try it, but it's not what i like. They reassure me it'll be under 300 and I'll love it. I drive it and it's making a funny noise, it has a paint chip in the front and a chip in the windshield. Income back and I tell them, it wasn't my favorite, and here's what I found wrong. I was then told, no need to nitpick on a car I just didn't like. Whatever. Then they tell me maybe look into a lease. Ok but you told me before a lease isn't possible. Ok, well here's a pre-owned version of what you want. Let me go see if it'll work. 10 minutes later, it won't work, let's try a lease. Ok. 25 minutes later, great news we got you for the presence owned for 334 a month. Um, no. That's too high, and you said you were going to check for a lease. Well a lease won't work. Hours later, I'm done, I'm leaving. You guys can't help me . I get home and my relative told me they hit his credit 11 times!!!!!! Save yourself and your credit the hurt. Don't go here.

Was lied to throughout much of the purchasing process. They gave a good price but don't expect anything more than that. Was promised a second set of keys from the sales manager, he told me it was ordered. That has been since July 2015. I ordered the key from a Fiat dealer and had it in 5 days. You are a number and nothing more.

I called the dealership and got Mark Young. But working so late I though I wouldn't have time. But I went in evening time to see him. Was very ornery myself but all in good fun. The sales staff were a lot of fun.. But to the person who poured her heart and soul into my experience. Rachina not sure of the spelling or her last name but I walked the lot and picked out what I WANTED. Not what I had to settle for. She made me feel like I was walking with my long lost friend.. Fell in love with the New truck at first sight.. had some bumps on the financial part but in the end all was great. I picked up my new baby today and couldn't be happier then a kids screaming Christmas morning finding that one gift they thought they weren't going to get. Plus bonus it had remote start. A feature I didn't know the Ram had. Drove me bonkers with happiness. No more freezing to death starting my truck... LOVE IT!!!!!Thank you Rachina love my new truck. I hate when you walk into a dealer and they hound you and try to force you to buy a car. When I went to Michiana dodge to look for a 2015 Dodge Durango I felt great. They worked with me and made me felt like they really wanted me to get what I want. They drove to Chicago to get me the SUV I wanted and honored the price. Micah the sales manager made sure I had it the next day before noon. Also Sirius radio gave us a problem and he jumped on the phone and fixed it real quick. We were looking for a Used vehicle within our budget, and we found what we were looking for thanks to our great salesman. He wasn't pushy at all and was very nice and personable, and my review about him is perfect. However, the same can't be said for the business at this time. We purchased a car with no warranty and everything worked fine when we drove it off the lot. The next morning, it no longer worked properly and we called the company, but basically they said we didn't get a warranty and there is nothing they can do about it. We expected the car to last more than a day for the price we paid for it. We are taking the car back (having it towed) to see if they will do anything to help us, because morally, you think they would. We shall see, and my next post will be an update, good or bad, depending on how things go. I strongly recommended this place to friends and family the day we bought the car, but I may be changing my mind depending on what happens in the next few days and if the company stands behind their sayings about customer service and satisfaction.

Overall the experience here was pretty good. I worked with Kevin Leitch and told him what I want and what my price range was. That day he found what I was looking for (except a more souped up vehicle) just a little bit out of my price range. I loved the car he found me and ended up buying it. The only downfall I could note was the process was a little pushy. I wish I could have had the exact numbers in front of me before I was practically pushed into the deal. I get the car would have been off the lot within a few days if I took too long to decide, but I would have like having the day/night to run the numbers at home with my budget and make an educated decision. Regardless, I love my gently used 2015 Chrysler 200 S and Kevin treated me well and with a ton of respect.

We came in with the expectation of being unable to get a car, having been shot down so many times before because we have not so great credit. We worked with Jess K. over a period of days on the phone and made the hour+ long trip in to see if we could somehow get a car. From the minute we came through the front doors, we felt welcome and Jess helped us out so much. He worked hard for us to get into a car, which is very very appreciated. I heard the add on the radio if you make $350 a week you are approved, I make alot more. I have bad credit due to some hard times a few years back so I called, I was told as long as I make $350 I can get in to a vehicle so come in. I drove a hour and a half from Michigan and was told I was not approved. It's not the first time I have had this issue but to be told your credit doesn't matter then get to the dealership and it dose was disappointing.

Worst place to ever buy a vehicle. I went in to lease my very first car and the experience was the worst anyone could possibly believe. The man who sold me the car was very nice and very helpful. I got my car in March 2015 and here it is almost May and I still can not register my vehicle due to not having the paperwork to do so. I am from michigan and had to drive down there once the temp tag they gave me expired to get a dealer plate. I still today have the dealer plate and have the manager complaining to me for not returning it yet. If this company would have done their jobs or returned phone calls a dealer plate would not have been needed. I call to apologize that it has not been returned to be told I can come get my paperwork drive back to michigan to register it and then bring the plate back to them. I'm over an hour away that's ridiculous. I would personally never never refer anybody to buy a vehicle from this company. They have made my first car buying experience the worst.

To be honest, this dealership gave me the round-about when it came to leasing a new car. My first issue was spending about 4 hours in the dealership, just so I could get some prices and numbers to help myself make a final decision. I get that people all want to buy cars at this time, but for the little bit of information I wanted, they kept me waiting for far too long. The cherry on top was that I never even got numbers after 4 hours (it was almost closing time at that point). The last question I was asked before I left was if there was anything they could give me in order to finalize a deal that day. I'm stunned at this because I had explained before on numerous occasions that I was not ready to finalize a deal, and I didn't even have numbers to make a decision off of! How they could expect me to want to jump right into a deal without the numbers is beyond me, and while I understand gathering the numbers takes time, it should not have taken them so long to get me simple prices, even if it involves a credit check. On top of that, I was told they would call me back on the pricing, but I haven't even gotten a call back in over three weeks, which is just plain ridiculous. I now have a new car I am going to be leasing, and I would not recommend going back to this dealership based on the experience I had. I'm sure others have had a much better experience here, but with the way my situation was handled, I am unfortunately not expecting myself to walk back inside their dealership any time soon.

I bought a used vehicle. Five days after buying the vehicle I blew a tire only to find out there was no spare tire in the vehicle. When I called the sales manager he explained the spare tire was an "option" for the vehicle I bought. I explained it would have been nice if the sales person had told me that. They finally admitted they should have made sure it had a spare tire and they got me one. Overall I like my vehicle and the experience was pretty good.

We bought a 2013 camry and was just perfect for us. We first wanted a choice that was offered to us. But someone test drove it while we waited for the banks. Someone else bought it which was fine. I knew I needed to new front tires for my minivan and I own a Dodge so I pulled into Michiana CDJR. As soon as I walked in Tony had a smile on his face and asked me how he could help. I knew I needed an alignment as well and what was great is that there was zero pressure for me to get any added jingle bell service done on my vehicle. He came back and walked me through exactly what was going on and explained how my back tires were being affected because an alignment had not been done. I got great prices on my 2 new tires as well! It was a totally stress free experience. Normally I would've gone to discount tire and it always takes forever. This place has a really comfortable lounge area and they washed my car for free afterwards!!! I was in and out of there in less than an hour and on the road again. Best experience i've ever had on the service side. I definitely will be bringing on my repairs and concerns back here for my vehicle!!!

We traveled 2 hours to see a 2010 Honda Odyssey, but we drove away with a beautiful 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT for only $1,000 more. Mark Shoe took the time to get to know our circumstances and suggest a better alternative than the vehicle we thought we wanted. The Grand Caravan had less than 30,000 miles on it, the backup assist camera, the DVD player, the stow-and-go seats and a dashboard full of electronics. Best of all, this vehicle can get up and go! The whole staff was friendly and helpful, from Devarius, who greeted us at the door, to Brandon who did the bulk of the paperwork, to the finance guy, Danny. The big difference here from other places we've looked was the thought and effort that Mark put into suiting the car to the customer. He explained that the resale value of the Honda wasn't the most important factor for us because we usually keep cars for a long time. We had the last car he sold us for eight years. For us, the features that matter are the ones that make day-to-day living easier. We put over 20,000 miles on our vehicles per year and always choose a car that will carry all of our beloved grandbabies. This new Grand Caravan has features they'll love, from the Sirius radio to the DVD player, and I feel safer with the backup assist camera so that I can be absolutely sure that the way is clear when I'm backing out. I thought I knew what I wanted when I walked into this dealership, but I'm glad to admit that Mark knows his business well enough to find us a car that is better.

I am a procrastinator, bought my vehicle in early July, and am just know getting around to writing my review. I had been researching SUVs for several years, waiting for the right time for my finances. This past summer I finally was in the position to do serious shopping. I looked at and test drove new small/mid-sized range models and used luxury models over a month or so. Of all the dealerships I visited, the sales people at Michiana Chrysler had the best balance of being friendly without being pushy. Jess Kincaid was hilarious and very knowledgeable - made the test driving experience enjoyable. I drove several different Jeep models and ended up with the Jeep Cherokee Limited. I was very pleased with the ease of they purchasing process. Since I have been driving my Jeep for almost 3 months now, I am happy to say that I like it even more today than I did when I first bought it.

Purchased a used 2011-Chrysler Town & Country Van last week. Good points about Dealership : 1. Good selection of vehicles to look at. 2. Friendly staff 3. Lots of promotional events 4. Website easy to navigate & search for what you want. 5. Pickup / drop-off courtesy shuttle. Not so good parts : 1. Accessories listed on web & sticker were not actually part of vehicle. (They did pay for labor to have parts installed, but I still had to buy the missing items that were listed on the features ). 2. Sales people not very knowledgeable about vehicles they are selling. (Tried to tell me airbag warning light was "normal" ) 3. Air conditioner was out of freon, Airbag warning light stays on , 1 of the key fabs didnt work, wheels not aligned. I would expect better from a service dealership, or at least let me know what's not working before I buy.

I paid 20,000 dollars for a 2007 with Chysler Aspen. Within 2 days of driving in off the lot and told it was serviced. I had to pay $236 for a EDGR valve and $480 for a corroded sensor. When we called our Salesman Jess and sales manager Drew we were told that these bills would be reimbursed. We called back after a couple weeks after this and curiously enough they do not work there anymore. The owner Mike was very rude and basically told us we were out of luck. I wish they would talk to me this way before I bought a car there. They also stated they were going to mail me another $200 key I never received. Again, I cannot reiterate DO NOT BUY CARS HERE!!!!!! THEY ARE DISHONEST!!!!!!!!

I usually do not write reviews, but I keep thinking about how we were treated overall and I need to get this all off my chest. We went in to purchase a new car, with a trade in. We were offered a car- new avenger in silver. We drove it around and really liked it, we ended up leaving because the payment was not acceptable after trade in and amount owed on that trade in. After thinking for a few days, we returned to look at that same new car with no trade in. We are not well to do, do not have good credit, but still need a new car that we can depend on for the next several years. We were offered this car AND another that the management was looking to get rid of "at a great price" because newer models of that car were in stock. The price of this second car was not affordable to us, so we're back to the avenger. Only THIS avenger, not the one in charcoal color. It was as if this was the only car on the lot. We were treated like lower class because it was difficult finding a lender for us. We appreciate the hard work that they went through to help us get the car, we just felt that they were trying to unload this particular vehicle and we looked like the perfect folks to hand it off to. We are now having a couple issues and are wondering if they knew there were going to be issues. I am not accustomed to taking a vehicle in for servicing and I am afraid of what will happen. I have had my car for one month, I had to go get the paperwork for licensing, they didn't have it ready. They never called me and my temporary plate is expired.

Today at 10:41 AM We very recently took our Jeep in because our A/C was not working. Thought it was under warranty, but was told it was not because one wire was defective. The quote to fix one wire was $472.00. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!! We promptly took our Jeep to a friend who is knowledgeable about cars and it was fixed for $20.00. Plus, it seemed like there was less gas in the tank when we picked up our car. I rarely write negative reviews, but this one took me over the edge. We almost wasted hundreds of dollars and I want to warn other people not to use this dealership. This is why dealerships are despised. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! Get a second opinion.

This Chrysler dealership has had my car for over two months or so for my car to receive services. After all that time my car still does not work, but I have paid the dealership to fix my car with no positive results. I continue to have a car that does not work after two months and was only given the option to have a loaner car the last week and a half of that time period. The customer service is fair to poor because they do not return calls, answer questions efficiently, freely give attitude to customers, and continually feed nonsense to cover up they do not know what they are doing. Very disappointed and frustrated with the treatment I have received as well as still having a nonworking car.

I had been to this dealership a couple times. I was first approached by Kevin ORielly when I was browsing for vehicles and we talked as far as what my options were. Due to time contraints and I'm picky when searching for the right vehicle, I checked other dealerships and got HORRIBLE service. The words that come out of some of these salesmen's mouths were quiet the turn off especially Gates South Bend and Zeigler Ford in Elkhart. I won't go back there again because they do NOT know what customer service is, they were all about the money and not about treating people with respect. Kevin OReilly is the main reason I wanted to purchase a car from Michiana Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Dealership, he treated me as a human being and respect and used common sense. All car salesmen can learn from this guy. I narrowed my sights on a vehicle while other customers were interested so I waited that out and then it was my turn to test drive and decided on a car that I wanted. After that, Kevin made it happen and Geno and I compromised on a deal that worked best for everyone, so I thank those two men for making this deal happen.

I became a widow a few years ago and buying a car was one of those things that I knew nothing about. I spend my Sundays walking around car lots looking at cars for nearly two months. I happened to be in south bend late on Saturday afternoon. I thought michiana Jeep was closed so I stopped to take a look at a used SUV I had seen on their website. I was greeted by a salesmen who made a joke about being open late just for me, I told Jess KinCaid that I wasn't there to buy anything. Once again a tension relieving joke then a statement that made me reconsider buying. Jess KinCaid offered to be more of a assistant buyer and less of a salesmen. Instead of looking at one SUV we looked at three. I learned how to tell if a car had been in a accident by checking the bolts, I learned about FWD,RWD,AWD and 4WD. These may seem like simple things but as a single woman this knowledge gave me the confidence to know which system I should buy. Jess gave me a card that he had written "Life Time Car Guy" when I inquired about that he explained that being a life time car guy ment a lot of things, one of them was a commitment to learning the skills required to overcome the stigma attached to car salesmen. I am glad Jess learned those skills because it made buying my first car by myself a comfortable experience. One the negative side I had to return to the dealership four times to redo paperwork that the people securing my loan had made mistakes on. Each trip was around forty miles. I spent $50.00 in gas that I shouldn't have. I overheard a conversation where Jess and a manager were arguing about putting gas in my SUV. Jess offered to top off my gas tank, I refused because I knew he was paying out of pocket for a mistake that had nothing to do with him. KK

Jess KinCaid was our sales rep and he did an awesome job. He was upfront and honest. He was not pushy. Everyone we dealt with was friendly and supportive. It was quite a change from many places we have dealt with.

The salesperson, Jacob Yoder, turned the car buying process into a horrible customer experience over a simple $80 mistake he made. We agreed to adding a package and when the car was delivered, a part of the package was left out. Ignored my voicemails, wouldn't admit to the mistake, wouldn't add the part, and even offered for ME to pay for it. I had to finally engage the general manager and was sent the part over a month and a half after the purchase. Salesperson is unable to admit a mistake and isn't capable of handling conflict resolution. Instead of treating me as a valued customer, he tried to ignore the issue and hope it went away.

When I went into the dealership one evening to look at a couple of other cars, I was waiting for a salesperson. While I was waiting, another customer who just got his car, came in and spoke to his salesperson. He came in and said, "I think you forgot something!" The salesperson asked what? The customer said that they forgot to fill up the car. The salesperson said, "Oh, we don't do that any more." I personally thought the salesperson was joking until another salesperson chimed in and said the same thing! I WAS SHOCKED!!!!!! I almost walked out right then and there!!! How can this be true???? The salespeople then proceeded to explain the reason that they do not do that any more. I was still in shock and disbelief!!!!! How can you spend THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS on a brand new car and the dealership can not fill up a new car with gas????? I understand everyone has been hit hard in this economy including you as car dealers and we as consumers, but why not go above and beyond and show some great customer service and fill up those tanks???!!!! That isn't that unreasonable to ask and I can guarantee it will go a LONG way in the customer service department!!! I must say that when I told this story to Ken over the phone, he did say "Well, we will be sure that doesn't happen to you." When I did go to pick up the car, Richard did fill it up as I told him about the conversation I had with Ken. To me that one little act, will go a long way in my book and with me recommending your dealership to others!! Thank you!!

We usually don't write reviews regarding our purchases, however the team at their dealership went out of their way to ensure we were well informed and treated like family before during and after the sale...it is not often you leave a dealership these days feeling like you just bought from genuinely nice honest people, but that's exactly how we feel. Very poor service from day 1. We purchased a used vehicle through this dealer and had a bad hubcap from the start which they said they would replace as part of the deal. It took me getting angry and yelling at them in the dealership after my mother and father had asked politely numerous occasions before we got anywhere. Finally after months it was replaced. They have slooooooooooooooooooooooooooow service. Count on 2-3 hours for a new set of tires, a job that should take no more than an hour. Oil changes are slow, everything is in slow motion. I'm done with this dealer and will service my vehicle elsewhere.

The worst car buying experience EVER!. From the moment my Mom and I arrived we walked around looking at there new and used inventory. We must have walked around for over 15 mins before wondering were anyone that works there even are. Don't get me wrong, but don't most sales people walk out to say "Hi my name is.... can I help you?" or something along those lines? No we had to walk inside and ask for help from a very nice lady that works at the middle desk. And we then meet Caleb. He was very friendly at first. All I wanted was a Dodge Avenger at or around $250-$275 a month. When I said that he he gave me and my Mom a very nasty looking face, and he said well see what we can do. So they asked about my car. I told them it was a 1995 Doge intrepid. They would only give me $500 for. Turns out that they told me about 2 cars they had a used 2011 and a 2010 both would be around $300 i said if you can get me down to $275 I will buy. He didn't even attempt to ask anyone he just acted like he walked out. when he did mom went to the bathroom and saw him just drinking a cup of water with another sales person else just laughing. And when he came back he said no we cant get you down that low. So we left. Had a very unpleasant time and left with the feeling that they just didn't care about people just sales! This happens about 2 months ago I later go to Z-Ford and saw that they had a 2010 Dodge Avenger for $15,999. I told them I really wanted this car and could only afford $275 a month. They first said around $300, But they asked to find out my credit score and said that they would work with the bank to get me that price. They Called me the next day and said the car is yours. $265 a month! I was so happy! Just had to write a review for this place saying how awful there sales staff is and how unfriendly the atmosphere is at Halls. They weren't even willing to work out a deal! i wish i could give this place a lower score but i cant. Z-Ford is 5 star all the way!. Stay clear of this place!......

I went to this dealer based on the recommendation of a friend. Due to my low down payment, fair credit, and negative equity in my current car, the dealership was unable to place me in something I wanted at the time(despite their assurances and trying to push me into something newer and more expensive), which I understood. What upset me is when they tried to guilt me into a vehicle that was not even close to what I wanted, by claiming they had to pull favors, etc., etc., and when I told the salesman I wouldn't buy something that wasn't what I wanted, with or without favors, he wouldn't even return my call, and I've never heard back from him since. There's being practical about what can and can't be done, and there's just plain rude and unethical. His behavior in the end was rude and ethical, and I wouldn't recommend this dealer to anyone.

A rating should be based on the enterprise doing what they claim to be able to do. By that standard one star is generous. DO NOT GO HERE.The sign on the street says "29 minute" oil change. Maybe they justify that by claiming it will only take 29 minutes once they get to your car.I sat for 2 hours waiting for an oil change. Not a typo, two hours!Oh any they lied on the upsale. The tech came in and said something about the battery having a problem and needing to be replaced immediately. I asked if it could wait a few months (being on a student budget) and the sales rep, Brad, said "No. Any day now your car will stop turning on."Turns out the dire problem was corrosion on the battery terminal. And it wasn't even bad (this is a well-maintained 2007 car), they just wanted to upsell me. Once I cornered him he admitted that was the problem but told me the process had already been done and they placed a special anti-corrosion solution on the terminals. $25.That's right, they made me pay $25 for a tablespoon full of baking soda and a used toothbrush.To make matters worse, he had "forgotten" the coupon I gave him for the oil change and tried to charge me the whole amount. When I insisted that I had given him the coupon he said, "Oh? You gave me a coupon? I don't remember that." Luckily, he "found" it in the stack of papers he was holding and was able to add the discount.Great. So now I've lost two hours, had to fight for the coupon I already used and paid for a worthless upsale. Thinking of my lost 2 hours, I asked Brad why they have the sign up front advertising 29 minute oil changes when they take two hours and he responded, "I've told them they should take it down but higher ups make that decision." Talk about false advertising.I'm fuming as I walk out to my car, and find the final insult. Their dirty, muddy paper floor mats are still in the car, the car number tag is still hanging on my mirror, their tag is still on my key chain, AND THEY DIDN'T EVEN CHANGE THE STICKER THAT TELLS THE NEXT MILEAGE TO CHANGE THE OIL. So now I get to clean up their mess, throw away their trash, and promise my wife that despite the sticker being the same I did get the oil changed. Fine, whatever.I'll never go back. I'll turn anyone away from there that I can. There are other mechanics and dealers in town that are honest and ethical. Hopefully Hall will learn that devious business practices might make a few dollars in the short run but they'll cost them dearly as consumers realize that they aren't to be trusted. After all, since you know they are trying to rip you off on a little oil change, just think what they'll try to do on the sale of a full automobile.

I would like to say Thank You to your staff in your Service Department and specifically Scott Hurley. On February 16th I was enroute from Des Moines, Iowa to my home town of York, Pennsylvania in my 2009 Dodge Challenger SRT8 when my check engine light came on. Time was critical as my mother had a bad fall and I was travelling home to help her after her stay in the hospital. Scott was very accomodating as I was just travelling thru and made me feel comfortable. Even without an appointment the service was quick and friendly and in no time I was on my way. Mr. Hall, I wanted to take a moment to let you know about my experience with your service dept at your Mishawaka location, and your employee Mark Reda. I will do my best to explain how extremely grateful and thankful I'm to Mr. Reda for the help he provided me with my car and dealing with Crysler on a problem both Crysler and your dealership didn't have too help me with since my warranty was out at 36,000 miles. My 2007 Dodge Charger had broke down on a Friday night on my way home, and I had it towed into your dealership where it was diagnosed with jumped timing, and needed a water pump which would be about $900.00. After getting in to the car a little more it was determined that when it jumped time it basically wrecked the whole upper portion of my engine which had 89,000 miles on it and after it was all said and done was probably going to end up costing me at least $4000.00 of which I could not afford. Even though my car was way out of warranty Mr. Reda contacted Chrysler to get them to help me and explained how well I taken care of the care and they should step in to help me. After numerous conversations Mr. Reda had with Chrysler he had managed to get them to step in and help me with the repair bill. After Mr. Reda had negotiated with Chrysler and discounted everything he could from your dealership my bill ended up being around $1550.00. Again this is why I'm writing this letter I cannot explain how much Mr. Reda had helped me with a bill that I was not going to be able to afford, and actually took the time to go above and beyond with his customer service to help me. Mr. Reda could of did the easy thing and said no the bill is what it is neither us or Chrysler can do anything, but he didn't do that and that is what sets him, and your dealership apart from the rest. Trust me I have taken this vehicle to three other dealerships (2 Dodge, and 1 Ford), and not only that my mother was the service manager for 25 years at one of those dealerships and still l have never received this quality of service even at the dealership she worked for 25 years. She even said that being in the business 25 years that there was no way the dealership or Chrysler would help with anything, and is absolutely amazed at what Mr. Reda managed to help me with. Mr. Reda could of made that one big sale for around $4000.00 for your service dept in an a economy that has been really hard on car dealerships, and especially service dept's to be profitable. Instead he helped me out and in the long run I guarantee that this will make your dealership far more than that $4000.00 that you would of received from that repair bill. Not only do you have me as new customer for life, but not mention the word off mouth that I will tell everyone how great my experience was with your dealership and also I will be back after the first of the year for the new car my wife needs. I also will be sending a letter to Chrysler about Mark, and your dealership. Mark Reda is a employee who truly cares about customer service, and you should be proud that he represents your company.
