I bought my 2016 colorado from your delership a little over a week ago and relized that the door to the gas cap was broke and took it in and had a great experience so far with the service department.

Battery Failure in 2013 Verano

The battery failed after only 3 years in service. Acid leaked around the positive terminal post. Parts replaced but no "clean-up" of spilled acid or its corrosion of surrounding surfaces. Not what I expected.

Overall excellence

We have already recommended Michael Hohl and referred others. My wife and I have purchase six new vehicles and two used since 2003 through the dealership or Valley Chev. prior to their merger. We will return and continue to refer.

Service

I've taken my truck to this dealer twice for required checks (oil change, tire rotation and general inspection). Never a problem...service rep is always knowledgeable, friendly and genuinely concerned with giving the best service in the least amount of time. Really, if you have to get service performed this dealer sees to it that it is a pleasant exercise.

Everyone was attentive to my individual needs and wanted to make sure that I got everything that I wanted in my new car. I had an offer of an early out of my current lease thru Hyundai so I went to them to take them up on that offer. Long story short, I was strung out for 3 weeks all the while receiving about 7 phone calls on how I needed to "settle" on what I wanted and basically take what they had or what they could or could not find. I was even told that "if you don't take this car the way it is and without some of the things I wanted that I would not be able to get one." Seriously, it was November of 2015 and I was looking at a 2016. That doesn't even make sense. Was I to assume that they would never have any 2016's to even sell in the whole year of 2016? I don't really know where to go with that and that was just one example of the ways they wanted me to settle. The Michael Hohl dealership completed my new car purchase within 2 hours! 2 hours! Not 3 weeks. AMAZING! I can't thank Ron, Gary and Dave enough. They are fantastic and Ron Waddell even sat with me for an extra 45 minutes showing me everything inside the car and how to use it and hooked up my I phone to work and everything! Brought our vehicle in for routine service check. Ed was prompt and efficient in getting the work order written up and the vehicle serviced, knowing that I was a "waiting" customer from Reno. He offered to have me driven anywhere, as well as offering a loaner. Per my request, the latest computer/Cue upgrades were downloaded, taking quite a bit more time simply because of the slow download process. Ed was apologetic for the delay, but explained the process in detail, and kept me informed of progress. I knew it was a long process, and appreciated Ed's explanations, as well as those from your computer/electronics tech (Mike?).

I bought my GMC Sierra pickup from you brand new and love it and you people. I know the problem with my AC and heater is a module resistor that operates the fan blower and GMC has seance fixed the problem with heavy wiring to replace the old setup. You replaced the old module and didn't make me wait for days, GOOD JOB. I didn't mind paying the money for GMC's mistake it is worth it to have heat in the winter for this (ME) old man. Because we were not happy with the Cadillac dealer in Reno, we drove to Carson City to obtain a new SRX! From the moment we set foot on Michael Hohl's lot in Carson City, I knew I had picked the right place to buy a new Cadillac SRX! There were no sales people following us from car to car, which gave us time to check each of the SRX models on the lot. When we were satisfied as to which SRX we would like to take home, we went inside the show room and immediately were asked if we needed help. We were directed to Autumn. We learned that Autumn was the most knowledgeable Cadillac Sales Person. It did not take long for her to obtain the deal that we were seeking!! After all the paper work was signed and we were ready to take possession of our new 2015 SRX, Autumn sat with us for almost an hour in the SRX to teach us all there is to know about a 2015 SRX!! Our sales person, Justin, was wonderful. He made us feel like he had our best interests at heart and was very patient and made sure we had our questions answered. It's a shame that it still feels as if a dealerships main goal is to take as much advantage of the customer as possible. The jargon, the hidden numbers, the piece of paper with scribbles on it. The back and forth with the hidden "sales/finance manager". Very tedious and sordid. I probably did give away $ I could have kept in my pocket.That said...I love my new vehicle, I was pleased with the selection on the lot, and I love that the dealership is close to home for service. The service was done quickly and, as far as I can tell, well. I found it a bit pricey but that is to be expected when using a dealer, as they can accomplish some things other shops can not. I was promised the car would be detailed and that was not done. The interior of the car was not cleaned at all. It was a decent experience and the free loaner car was very nice.

I was satisfied with my deal but I sent friend of mine in to talk to someone about buying my trade in and he was lied to very badly (Steve ?). I had my car in to your dealership the day before I traded it and had the oil changed, tires rotated and the 27 point inspection and was told "everything looked good". When my friend went in to inquire about buying it he was told that it had a "bunch of problems" like the brakes and rotors had to be replaced, the air conditioner was leaking, etc. I'm sure this was done to try and justify the price that was put on the car. My friend knew the condition of the car so he knew that he was being lied to and said he wouldn't buy a car from your dealership ever again and was going to tell others about his experience.Thought you would like to know.

Have been a customer since 1993 and very happy with Michaael Motor Company. Clinton Pheasant is a great asset to yhour comany. There aare a few problems that should have been problems that should lhave been taken care of before delivery, Rear seats do not fold down as they should and carpet problems. Low tire pressure in some tires. I am confident these problems will be solved.

Buying my 2015 Denali

The staff was pleasant, professional, and informative throughout the buying process. Everyone I spoke with was knowledgeable about the products and very proud of them as well. Jordan was particularly helpful, reviewing every button, dial, and screen in the vehicle with us (and there are lots of them in these new computerized machines) upon delivering the car. Our schedule made a Sunday morning delivery most convenient for us, and she made that possible. I have received several followup emails insuring we are completely satisfied with our experience and our new vehicle, nice to know they really care post sale. I will recommend Michael Hohl to family and friends, and plan to make future purchases with them.

Service on my Chevy and Service Advisor Doug

I had an unusual problem with my Chevy and brought it in. My service advisor was Doug. He made sure I was able to get the right part for my vehicle and convenient delivery of part and service to have it put on, even though we both thought it wouldn't work. The mechanics did a great job and fixed my car so I was back on the road. They checked my car completely over and topped off all the fluids and washed my car as well. I was able to have the de-sludge with oil change as well, which has my car running smooth and the price was affordable. Doug told me, he would never advise me to have services I didn't need and only those that were important and relevant to my vehicle make and model. I would never dream of taking my car any other place, only to Michael Hohl's GM.

worth the drive from Reno

I couldn't be happier with the Quality of service I received from Ron at Michael Hohl. Made me a great deal, was honest and fair on my trade, not pushy. Was treated poorly at the Reno GMC dealer and was disappointed they didn't stand by their product. Highly recommend the short drive to Carson City!

Great experience

My wife and I went out car shopping and spent a few hours test driving a few cars. We really enjoyed our salesman and had a great time that afternoon. Leasing a new Terrain

This was our first time at Michael Hohl. We leased a 2014 Terrain. We love this SUV. I expected to be sitting all day trying to make a deal. Much to my surprise I was wrong.
