You feel welcomed as soon as you get there. Jed was who helped me through my car buying process. Once I told him what I was looking for he proceeded to giving me the information that I needed and did not try to push me into any other direction or anything besides what I was looking for. The whole process was very smooth and Walter even helped me through the loan process through my bank. Once I was ready to purchase my vehicle, Jed even drove me to the bank to help me through my loan process. I'm so happy with my new vehicle and would definitely recommend Merlex!!

One of a kind!

One of a kind dealership! I have bought many cars in my life but I never got the serivce that merlex auto group has provided. It was a three day process. But they got it done just the way I wanted them to do it for me. I got refered he from a friend that bought a car as well! I am going to do the same thing and refer many if my clients over to them. If your in the market for a highline exoctic car go ahead and check out merlex auto geoup of arlington! I got the car i wanted and the rate i wanted. Walter the man him self got me 72 month on a 10 year old car. I love my M5. I would recommed to go see mike or moe there were a great sales guys! And based on other reviwes I did not wanted to go but since i got refered i gave them a chance! They have a great team. And a great staff. I work very hard for my money so i did not wanted to get something that would give me problems and this car runs like a v10 should when we went on a test drive!

My salesman was Mike and he was very knowledgeable about the vehicles. I was shopping during the heatwave and he pulled every car I wanted to see and test drive and was pleasant and patient throughout the entire process. He also supplied me and family with bottled water and notice everytime it was gone and replaced it immediately. Over all just great customer service. As a matter of fact everyone there was very nice.

Great Service Great Cars

Saw the Mercedes CLS550 on their website. I worked with their staff and my lender. We traveled from Pittsburgh to Virginia via the train. Mike picked us up from Union Station DC. The car was everything I expected. All the staff were professional and courteous. We completed the paperwork while they detailed the car. We drove our new car back to Steelers county. Mike was excellent.

I couldn't be more satisfied with my car buying experience. The staff at Merlex was top notch and gave me the time and attention necessary that I had not received elsewhere in my car search. I'd tell you to ask for Mike when you get there cause he was great, however I interacted with a few other gentlemen who I can't remember their names and everyone was very pleasant; I'm sure you'll have a great experience no matter who helps you out. I definitely recommend Merlex to anyone who's looking for a higher end car.

The employees were so helpful when it came to all the questions I had both financially and car wise. Im not the most knowledgeable person when it comes to cars, but they made the whole process of car buying much easier. I cant get over the great customer service. I am thrilled with my purchase, and I highly recommend them to anyone who hasnt checked them out yet.

Worst car buying experience

I scheduled an appointment with Javier and I expected to have a good experience.The car had scratches and dents on the exterior and was dirty on the interior.After I told the salesperson that I'm not sure if I want to buy the car I was told (after he consulted the manager) that I can't test drive the car. As a consolation price I was promise that the car drives great and that they have a mechanical report from the dealer. This was for the first time when I cannot test the car and overall my worst buying experience ever.In the future I'll avoid the dealership and I felt frustrated that I wasted my afternoon showing up there.

Terrible Service -- Wouldn't recommend!!!

I would not recommend Merlex Auto Group of Alexandria!!! I found them to be prejudice. My husband and I was wearing workout clothing when we stopped by to view a couple of their vehicles. The salesman recommended that we talked to the finance guy to discuss possible negotiations on the price of one vehicle. We entered the trailer to meet the finance guy. The salesman went into his office and shut the door and came back out and stated that the finance guy was about to go into a meeting. After we exited, we saw the finance guy come out of the trailer walking, talking and laughing with other salesmen. The lot is so tight you can barely see what the vehicles look like and needless to say can barely get into a car to view the inside. I could have paid cash for any vehicle on that lot if I chose to. I thank God I received an alarm about this dealership before getting caught up into business with them. Wouldn't recommend doing business with these folks!

Awesome service I bought my blue S550! From they have a great selection! Of cars go check these guys out! I cam 2 weeks ago and put a deposit on the car and came back the following week with my co singer to purchase the car! after I bought the car there was something wrong with the speaker system they set and appointment with Mercedes Benz of Arlington and took care of the issue I had with zero cost! Marvin and Walter was amazing and got me right take my word if your looking for a car in their lot go check them out and put a deposit and pick it up later like I did! From the moment I walked in the door and was warmly greeted by the customer concierge, my Car buying experience was nothing short of amazing. I was quickly introduced to Javier Flores (sales consultant), who listened carefully to my vague description of what I was looking for... and then found The car I came for! Unlike virtually every other dealership I've ever visited, there was no "hard sell", no push to up-sell, etc. Javier was a gentleman throughout the entire process and went out of his way to make sure I was fully informed about every single detail regarding about the vehicle and the price for the vehicle . As a side note - while I was there, Javier was also occasionally fielding calls to help out a previous customer, an elderly gentleman who was having problems with his car that had broken down on the side of the road. I overhered The conversation with AAA and Javier to get it squared right away! And he advise the elderly man to come in and he will assist him in a rental while his car gets take care of! that he got involved for the elderly man! I was shocked and I was impressed with his willingness to help someone beyond the scope of his job. I only hope that when I'm in my 80's and having trouble, someone like Javier Flores will go out of his way to help me. From the customer concierge, to Javier Flores the sales consultant, to the sales manager, the general manager (who stopped in to introduce himself) and on through to the business manager and the product specialist (who taught me how to use the many amazing features on my new vehicle), my experience at Merlex Auto Group. Beyond Satisfy

The most pleasant and beyond satisfy experience I have ever gone through. Unfortunately I didn't drive out with what I wanted simply because of financial reasons but the alternative choice of vehicle they have provided is beyond words for me. Was first assisted by Javier, genuine guy who made sure I wasn't walking out without a car. Then was handed over to Walter, tooken by surprise how young he looked but his professionalism surpasses that. These 2 gentleman made some impossibles, possible! The magic they worked in practically 2 days to satisfy my needs, couldn't appreciate it more. Well recommended place to go to. For me who just turned 20 and recently got my license, to gain the trust by these two gentleman in such little time and for them to bend their backs they way they did, had me driving out feeling like a rockstar!

Very nice dealership

I just brought a 2008 BMW 750i from Walter at Merlex auto group. I must say from the time i got to the dealership and talked with Walter he made me feel welcome and he did everything in his power to get my deal done. I went there to get a Lexus but he got me a much better deal on the BMW. I didnt even think i was gonna be able to get a car. But Walter worked hard on my deal and got me my car of my dreams. I came into this dealership to buy a Cadillac Escalade. When I got here they had the vehicle ready for me to take a test drive. The vehicle was spotless and in impeccable condition!!! On the test drive, Sam (the salesman helping me) was very helpful. He had a lot of knowledge about the vehicle I was looking at. When we got back from the test drive I realized that they had a bunch of other Cadillac Escalades on their lot. Sam took me around each one and answered any question that I had!!! After picking the perfect Escalade for me I went inside and started talking to Walter (the Finance guy). He helped me get into this vehicle at the payment i wanted and at the APR that i was comfortable with. I have pretty bad credit so what he was able to get for me was a Godsend. Everyone in the office was very helpful!! They even bought me lunch while we were waiting for the bank to get back to us. I will be telling EVERYONE I KNOW about this dealership!!! They are honest & very helpful!! They really made me feel like they wanted to help me get what I wanted .. not just another car dealership who doesn't care what you want and just wants to sell you a car!! A Dream Come True

Who says Friday the 13th is a bad day? On November 13th which was a Friday, I was able to make my husband dream come true. I didn't do it alone. With the help of Walter and the whole Merlex family, I was able to get my husband his 2006 Infinity M45 fully loaded at a great price. The experience was exciting, fast and easy. Walter pulled every string he could and made it happen. The team kept us calm and the hospitality was amazing. Though we were all laughing and joking, the team remained professional and high spirited. We were welcomed with open arms. Now my husband is happy and loving his new ride and i am loving the passenger seat and occasionally the driver seat every now and then. Never Again

I am 6 months into a purchase from them and I am sorry I ever stepped foot into the dealership. I have put less than 5,000 miles on the car and have already had to replace a heavily corroded battery, a gasket and tires. I should have known by the sketchy buying process that something was awry. I would not recommend anyone to this shop to experience the headaches I have.

Amazing Customer Service

From the minute we arrived (flying in from Miami Beach), they were top notch. They picked us up at the airport, no waiting time at all, down to driving off the lot with our new car, they made it a wonderful experience and we got our new Cadillac Escalade at a great price! As a first time visitor to Merlex Auto Group in Arlington VA, I was pleased with the new dealership in my town That I did busniess with! However, after getting help from Walter, we decided to stick around! Before I came in I did some research about Merlex Auto Group which I did not like about it. So by Wife and I living right around the corner from Merlex Auto Group. I still decided to give them an opportunity. And I will make sure Melissa and I both tell everyone that is in the market for a car to come See Merlex and give them a try no matter what everyone else say!. Because at the end of the day I don't judge a book by its cover! Walter was extremely helpful, not pushy at all, and very transparent about the entire process. We spent 30 Mins discussing about how I wanted the whole deal to go down! I told him that I am looking for the best number on my trade-in (Jeep Rubicon). And I wanted the best number on their vehicle (Jeep Wrangler). The reason for the trade in because my wife dose not drive manual so I had to get an automatic one for her and my self. So Walter and I agreed upon everything. I had big tires on my Jeep and wanted to swap tires with there vehicle, So I notified him. So he stated to me that he has to make a phone call to his boss to let him know about that which he did. So the transaction was going to take until the next morning because the shops were closed for us to swap the wheels. So I came in the next morning. To finalize the deal and lock In the loan! I told Walter About my credit. Right away He stated to me that you can get the best rates through USAA Federal Savings Bank, If I was a Member. Which my wife and I both were! Excellent Customer Service

I recently just brought a s550 from Merlex Auto Group and it was nothing but a great experience. The have superb customer service and great sales reps (Mo and Sam). I recommend Merlex Auto Group!!!! Someone was trying to buy the car that I brought that same day and test drive it. Out of respect and I was there first my Sales rep Mo stop the test drive and told the other customer that the car was brought. I didn't eat the entire day and without me knowing Mo the sales rep went out and brought me Subway. The little things are what counts and I felt very comfortable. I was looking to upgrade to a larger vehicle, so I browsed my banks website for an Authorized Dealer. Merlex Auto Group was one of those dealers and had several vehicles that met my search criteria but out of a 100 mile search radius they also had my ideal vehicle with the lowest miles and price. So I made the 1.5 hour drive to check their inventory, I was pleasantly surprised. I immediately located the vehicle that I wanted to purchase from the road as I approached the lot. The sales staff was courteous and knowledgeable. I took a test drive and feel in love with the Escalade ESV Platinum Edition. I spoke with Walter who made me feel at ease and gave me a fair market price on my trade-in. I mulled over my decision to purchase the car. I went back two days later and purchased the vehicle; and doing so was given a complimentary wash, detail, and oil change as a bonus for coming back. The transaction went smoothly as Walter masterfully worked the paperwork. Since my wife and I were on the bank check, BOLA drove 2.5 hrs. (traffic/pouring rain) to follow me home at 8 oclock at night to have my wife sign documents. This was a profound gesture of customer service and I was thoroughly pleased with BOLAs honesty, compassion for customer satisfaction and vehicle knowledge. The next day I called BOLA to thanked him for his service more importantly to let him know I forgot a county decal in my trade-in, he assured me that he would personally retrieve the sticker and safeguard it for me until I picked it up. Well two weeks later I picked up my decal and was given another vehicle detail for being a valued customer or as BOLA would say You are Family. BOLA and Walter are straight shooters and aim for customer satisfaction. I am impressed with the level of competence and service I received at MerlexAutoGroup.

This has been the greatest dealer ship I have been in a long time. The car I bought came with all the bells an whistles ,passed Emissions and State inspections. My car was ready for me to drive home as soon I was there. I've been driving my car for one month with no problems. They take care of their customers as if they where family.

I purchased a Mercedes Benz S600 fully loaded. I love my car! No issues, super clean and top of the line. I had a wonderful experience at Merlex Auto group. The whole team was nice and helpful. Not a very good experience

They are great sales people working at the dealership but with a catch. When I inquired about the car, i received a call from several salesmen on the same day. I told them that i will stop by and next thing i know they automatically schedule me in for a afternoon without checking with me. The car i was really interested in wasn't even at the dealership because owners wife loved it and she was driving it for a few days. Really?! Salesman asked if i was going to bring cashiers check for the car. I told him no, I plan on financing it since I have A+ credit. His reply "Then I dont make any money off of you, this is not a good deal" Like I said, there are some excellent salesmen there but with a catch. Good luck!

My husband and I recently bought a low mileage Mercedes Benz from Merlex Auto Group. Our sales person was Walter. From the very beginning when we stepped into their car lot, and then their office, Walter was very friendly, informative, and knowledgeable about the car we inquired about. Terrific Car Buying Experience

I wouldn't ordinarily go to an independent used car lot for a car, but Merlex Auto Group advertised the 2013 Lexus GS 350 I had been looking for at a very good price. I showed up at 8:30 not realizing they were only open until 8, but i looked around the lot to gauge the quality of the vehicles they were offering for sale. I was pleasantly surprised to see only late model luxury vehicles. Shortly, Bola came out of the office to introduce himself and see if he could help me. We spent about half an hour talking about the business, where they get cars and cars in general. The Lexus i was interested in had been taken home by the owner, Alex. Bola called him and we arranged a test drive for the next evening to accommodate my work schedule. After the drive the next evening I told Alex I was still interested, but I needed to see the car in the daytime so I'd come back on the weekend. He offered to let me take the car overnight and drive it for a day. That gave me time to let my mechanic look it over and to decide that this was the car for me. The next night negotiations with Alex were very up-front and fair. A deal was struck very quickly for what I consider a very good price. Walter was a whiz at the paperwork. The whole team was a pleasure to work with. Walter and Bola were friendly, courteous and helpful from the moment I stepped onto the lot. Alex is a gentleman and a boss who stresses customer service with his staff and it showed during my 3 visits to the lot to make my purchase. I recently bought a GL550 from Merlex A.G. and I would like to say that the whole team over there do a great job. After the sale I had a small problem with the vehicle and I spoke with Walter who was a big part of getting this deal done and made sure I was taking care of. I did not get the run around. I had a really pleasant experience working with Merlex Auto. Everyone was friendly and approachable. I bought a used Mercedes Benz GL450 from Merlex Auto Group and I have to admit, they had the best sales team and the best price in the entire DMV area. Alex, Langston, Walter and Bolaa were outstanding representatives at the company and each of them worked in unison to ensure that all concerns were addressed and each outstanding issue was resolved to my satisfaction prior to sealing the deal. This was my first luxury SUV and after two weeks, I have had nothing but a great driving experience and I have been very impressed with the quality of the vehicle. Great new dealership in town

I had been looking for a Second Generation IS250 AWD for a while, because I'm very picky when it comes to car, and last week I found the one I like (Silver exterior with black interior, super low mileage) at Merlex. Decided to check the car out and went home with a new car. Walter and the guys were cooler than I expected, they helped me step by step to go through the whole process, from looking for an institution with good interest rate to dealing with the hassled insurance customer service. Walter personally talked to the insurance rep himself to get me the best quote on my new car, this is not a regular thing you always seen at other dealerships I must say. Nice place, hassle-free buying process, nice people to make a deal with. Definitely recommend this dealership.
