I go back many years knowing Jim "Tex" Ritter. Mercedes Benz of Knoxville has always serviced my GLK and I would stop by to visit with Jim about trends, new MB models and MB insight and technology. I have a similar personality as Jim's and he's very easy to talk with. My wife had just sold her SLK and by luck I drove by the dealership and spotted a 2015 'pre-owner certified' SLK-250 on the lot and I also noticed Jim outside near the door. Within minutes Jim gave me the features of the car and told me to take it home, drive it and get the feel for it. My wife drove it later that day and we closed the deal the following day. The process was very simple. Jim was very precise pointing out all of the options but I forgot half of it. Enter Dain Dugan ... the guy knows everything about everything concerning Mercedes. Quick 're-training' session with Dain and everybody is happy. I've had problems with plumbers, electricians and lawn care 'but' not my Mercedes, GLK and SLK. These people really do want your business and they really do care. "You get what you pay for" and Mercedes of Knoxville speaks volumes of owning the best or nothing.

After searching for at least 1year my husband found the truck he wanted at Mercedes Benz of Knoxville. Even though we were shopping in the used section we received amazing service and were treated no different than if we were purchasing a Mercedes. I will admit the sales representative, Emmanuel "Manny" Frederick, is a good friend of ours and he knew we had been searching for so long. As soon as the truck was on the lot he called us and we had to see the truck for ourselves. Mercedes was nice enough to let us take it home for the night to really see if it was the right fit and "oh man" was it. The next day we took the truck back and made the deal. The used car manager was wonderful in offering a fair deal at what was affordable to us and cooperating with us as we negotiated the trade of our used Jeep Liberty. In addition,the finance specialist, Steve, was steadfast in taking the time time to explain all our options and work with us in the final closing of the sale.You see, we brought in our 15 month old daughter and everyone (including the employees not party to the sale) were so attentive, as well as ensured she was happy due to the fact that closing a sale can be time consuming. Needless to say we are very satisfied with Mercedes Benz of Knoxville and their staff!!! We would definitely use their services again and maybe one day we can actually purchase a Mercedes.

We went in to test drive one of the beautiful Mercedes and had the absolute pleasure to deal with Josie Phillips. Immediately, we felt comfortable and were offered water, snack etc. Josie's vast knowledge on the sedan we were test driving made it even more appealing then it already was! She was a perfect salesperson for us, professional yet personable. I would highly recommend anyone thinking of purchasing a Mercedes from this dealership to ask for her.

I stopped in for service on my sl55 amg. Service was very busy and unfortunately didnt have a loaner available. I walked to the showroom and met a salesperson named Terri Watson. I was very clear that I was just here for service and was cool with that. But she still wanted to test drive the newer sl63 amg I was looking at. She was a blast. Very professional but still seemed like a friend within the first two minutes anyway. I tried to scare her on the test drive but she just laughed and loved it, one of the coolest salespeople I have every met. After that she went out of her way to ask another salesman to loan me his Demo since I was stuck at the dealer for 5 hours. I would recommend her to anyone and if I ever trade in my car for a newer model, it will be at Merc of Knoxville and definitely with Terri!

Our Roadtrek Etrek had a sudden loss of power while driving through Knoxville from FL, and we were lucky to land at MB of Knoxville. We were welcomed at the Service Dept, with our 2 little dogs, their travel crate, our laptops etc while the service team pored over our RV on a day when they had 11 other Sprinters lined up for work. They made our 3 hour sojourn in their pleasant waiting room very painless. Many employees came by to love on our dogs; one even gave them treats! They offered us sustenance and made us feel like welcome guests, while they completed warrantee covered adjustments and then followed up with several phone calls during the next few days. Their other guests were kind and companionable as well. We are deeply impressed with the MB of Knoxville culture and expertise! If they care for other dealers' customers this well, what won't they do for their own? This is an extraordinarily professional group who are clearly hand picked and happy in their work.

My C300 was purchased here 5 years ago, had a super deal on it, and great service followed. Now, I'm looking at fixing /investing money on my older van vs getting a used SUV. Rachel Ferrie has been SO HELPFUL with showing me options in new/used, leasing/buying, single /multiple trades, whether to wait/buy now /later, GLK vs ML, test drives, text messages updating her searches, well, the list just goes on and on, but not once have I felt pressured to buy. I just feel more equipped to make a practical decision for my needs. She even let me compare comparable models of other brands on the lot to narrow my decision. While driving our 2007 Mercedes ML320 from Florida to Michigan, we broke down in our hotel parking lot in Knoxville. That evening, Mercedes sent a tow truck to pick up the vehicle (at no charge) and take it to the dealership so that it could be evaluated in the morning. The next morning, we were picked up from our hotel and brought to the dealership to pick up a loaner vehicle so that we could at least enjoy the area while our car was being worked on. Our service adviser, James Cox was absolutely amazing! He kept us informed throughout the day and even checked with us the next day when we resumed our travels to Michigan. The repair was less than what was estimated and performed flawlessly! Kudos to James Cox and the service team!!

Our first transaction was handled quite ably by Mr. John Atchley, a great gentleman, who passed away some time back. For the other two purchases we worked with Ms. Carrie Dugan. The common thread in all three sales transactions can best be described as a knowledgeable, friendly, professionalism. Carrie Dugan has been especially helpful and patient as we hunted for the perfect fit for our needs and our budget. Carrie is truly a pleasure to work with. Purchasing a new vehicle can be a very stressful experience. Being prior military, I love to just go in and come out with little trouble. I did my own research and had an excellent experience from Josie Phillips. I had all my paperwork complete right before I came to this dealership. My friends kids were with me and they offered them drinks or snacks. There was also another family there that were getting their wheels replaced due to a blowout on the road. That is dedication there, trying to make them comfortable as possible. I highly recommended this dealer to my fellow veterans and even offered to drive them there if needed and I live 4 hours away.

I am always reluctant to go down to the local dealership as buying a car can be such a stressful and high pressure strain. My last "battle" here in Chattanooga for a new Mercedes did not improve my opinion. Late last year I was ready for a new car and had my eye on the E350 but was hesitant to try again. My wife tricked me into driving to Knoxville under another pretense and drove me into the dealership. I got ready for war but my wife had already arranged an appointment with Jarmo Kormu who greeted us in the parking lot and immediately made me feel at ease. It took about three hours at the end of the day Saturday but Jarmo patiently stayed with us, answered questions, simplified everything and let me drive for as long as needed. No pressure and honest, straight-forward answers. I was offered a fair deal, wrapped it up on an in stock E350 and drove it home. I will be back to trade my wife's CLK and will ask for Jarmo. Highly recommended and worth the drive!

Recently went to Mercedes Benz of Knoxville just to get an idea of what they had after my wife and I were thinking of getting a bigger vehicle. I had done business with Josie Phillips on a car in the past and I was hoping she would be there because I knew we would have good conversation and there would be no pressure on getting anything done that day. Lucky for us, she was and even though she was with other clients, she made sure we were well taken care of until she was available. We did find something we liked and then began the "hard" part of making a deal. Except with Josie it's not hard at all, she does all she can to come up with something that is going to work for you. I know that when I come to Mercedes Benz of Knoxville, I know I'm going to be treated like family and that is the most important trait that I look for in a dealership. It is that reason that I came back again and will keep coming back.

Would I have stayed loyal for that time if I were not satisfied with this dealership? Not likely. I have purchased two new vehicles in the past three years from Josie Philips. She is a knowledgeable sales person with a warm and friendly personality. When it's time to buy another vehicle, she will be the sales person I will seek out. I had been internet shopping for a BMW Z3 when I came upon an an entry from Mercedes Benz of Knoxville for a 1997 model. I initiated a phone call to the dealership and was connected to Josie Phillips, who detailed the background and pertinent information about the car. Josie was always amiable and courteous and conducted her duties very professionally. She promptly returned any calls that I made to her with questions about the car. Beyond that, she even gave me the phone number of the prior owner and an independent mechanic who had inspected the car, which helped allay any doubts, concerns, or hesitations that I might have had. In sum, my overall experience with Mercedes Benz of Knoxville, and in particular , Josie Phillips the Sales Rep, and Terri Watson in the Business Office, was exceptionally good and I would highly recommend them and this dealership.

I have purchased two vehicles from Mercedes Benz of Knoxville, both previously owned. Even though I was not buying the latest & greatest Mercedes, I was treated with professional respect and made to feel my time and satisfaction were paramount. Josie Phillips was my sales rep, and she did a great job - very accommodating and a pleasure to do work with. Unfortunately, the transmission was not as satisfying but it was covered as promised by the warranty I purchased. Service department is first rate. Doing business with Mercedes of Knoxville easily the best car buying experience I have had. When Josie comes home, so good. She's the pride of the neighborhood.

I'm living in Canada and the selection of ML 350's in my metro area is slim to none. I contacted Josie Phillips who had the exact car I was looking for and the process was completed in a couple of days. I flew to Knoxville where I was picked up at the airport and demoed the car back to the dealership. I then met with Donna Henderson the finance Manager and she had all my papers in order. There was a small glitch at the border and Donna bent over backwards to help-but ultimately it was my mistake and it cost me a couple of days in getting the car home. My experience was terrific and I would recommend the dealership and the vehicle to anyone.

I researched the dealership website, looking for an E350. I requested information and was promptly contacted by Josie Phillips and set up a test drive. Josie met me at the dealer and we went for the test drive, which was true to Mercedes...outstanding. When we returned to the dealership, I parked next to a black SLK350.....hmmmmmmmm. We took it ot for a test drive, and the rest is history. I was smiling from ear to ear the whole time. Josie worked up a fair trade for my vehicle and now the SLK sits in my garage, in between happy moments behind the wheel. Fantastic service department too....... I waited and waited to finally get the Mercedes I always wanted. I shopped all over the internet and dealers in Nashville & Knoxville. When I walked into the dealership in Knoxville, TN and met Josie Phillips, I was met with a delightful person who did not pressure me at all. I shared how nervous I was to get a Mercedes as I wanted it to be "just the right one". The question was whether or not it was going to be an SUV or a C300. There were so many choices. Josie mentioned a vechicle that was being used as a demo by one of the local staff and as soon as I saw it, that was the car. A metallic gray C300 with very few miles on it. No question about it. This was the car! The transaction was smooth and quick and I was able to buy it and leave the lot on a Saturday. DONE! This was in 2010 and it is now 2015 and I still have the little C300. Love it. I'm thinking my next one will be a "red" color and Josie will be there to help me find it. Thank you so much for all the continued support. This dealership is the best.

My wife and I visited Mercedes of Knoxville a couple of weeks ago hoping to test drive a GLK350 and potentially purchase one. As soon as we arrived on the lot, everyone was very hospitable allowing us to take our time and letting us know they were there to help. We were ready to drive a GLK350 so we were introduced to Jarmo Kormu and he immediately made us feel welcome. The first GLK350 we looked at did not have all of the options we wanted but Jarmo went to the service center to see if they had one that met our needs. It was perfect! He then did everything necessary to make sure we enjoyed every aspect of the vehicle and he did not force anything on us at all. We decided to purchase the vehicle and even though we had already signed the paperwork, Jarmo continued to make sure our experience was the best it could be. After all of the paperwork was complete, he showed us every feature the vehicle had to offer and made sure there were no answered questions on our end. The entire experience was first class and I will certainly be purchasing another vehicle from Jarmo and Mercedes of Knoxville.

I recently purchased a 2014 Mercedes GL350. I had owned an older Mercedes GL450 and enjoyed it for several years. I drive a lot for work and put a lot of miles on my cars so I wanted something reliable and that would hold up to the high-milage. I asked a friend of mine who works at the dealership to recommend someone in sales to speak with. He said call Josie Phillips. I called Josie and told her my needs. She asked me some questions about what I wanted as far as color and features and then she did something very unexpected, she asked my how would you feel about a diesel? I was surprised when she asked me this. I told her I had a few reservations about diesel's because my husband drives a diesel truck and it's loud and it blows smoke sometimes. Josie said Mercedes diesel is quite and it doesn't blow smoke. She also told me it would be very reliable and is a good choice for someone who puts a lot of miles on a car. So she offered to bring one to my office for me to test drive. We drove it around with the windows down and it was so quite and so comfortable and I bought it on the spot. Josie was awesome to deal with and I feel like she went the extra mile to help me find the right vehcile for my needs.

First of all, my husband and I have bought a couple of cars from our local Mercedes dealership. They were VERY proud of their name and arrogant. We online looking for dealerships near us and found Mercedes of Knoxville. My husband called and talked to their manager and all the pieces fell into place! We worked out everything over the phone via pictures (car obviously had to be in condition stated). We drove 2 1/2 hours (vs a 45 minute drive) to pick up not only my car but my husbands! As soon as we walked in the dealership we were greeted, which was SO nice. We were introduce to the manager, Buck Arnwine, whom we had talked to over the phone. Buck was accompanied by Jarmo, who ended up being the most friendly, down to earth, honest sales person! Jarmo walked us through the entire process along with spending time making sure we understood all the features our cars provided. I had been looking at new cars for 2 years. Josie Phillips is the salesperson I spoke with at MB of Knoxville and I test drove 2 or 3 different versions of new E350s. She was extremely knowledgeable and fun to work with ... but .... I was in no hurry as I still very much enjoyed my 2001 E320 I bought new in late 2000 at this same dealership. Time went on and I test drove Infiniti and Audi but was still leaning toward MB because of my rewarding experience with the one I have (225,000 miles and still running great). I went back a couple more times to look at MB with Josie at my side but still .... couldn't make up my mind. She remained helpful and humorous each time. Finally in December of last year I decided on a pre owned 2013 E350. Josie went to bat for me big time to get me into this vehicle (she may have thought she had spent so much time with me that she was determined to get this deal done) !! But we DID get it done and I couldn't be more pleased. My wife and I were travelling in the area (Gatlinburg) from New Jersey and our smart wouldn't start. I called Knoxville smartcenter and spoke with Terry Watson. She arranged to have the car towed to their facility . This was very late in the day and almost closing time . I arrived there pretty close to closing and Terry had already had a loaner car for me waiting and Gary (service ) Found myself and the tow truck driver out in the lot, took my keys and he said he'd get to it early in the morning. Next day around 9:30 Am I got a call from Knoxville and the car was ready...A sensor had quit and it was good to go. This was the BEST service and attention to our needs in a time of crisis. Everything that transpired was just awesome. We picked up the car and it was cleaned and fixed. Terry Watson went above the call of duty and if her dealership was closer to where we live we would most definitely be a repeat customer, not only for repairs and servicing but for purchases of new vehicles as well. Thank you all !!

I have been to the Knoxville dealership several times for service - one of the times, they let me know that I didn't need all the service I thought I would (saving me $$$$). They have always been friendly, and accurate in estimates on time and cost. The sales rep, Terri Watson, is awesome to work with, supporting the brand like few others I have ever known. My recent search for a 2011 Mercedes Benz ML550 resulted in making my purchase with the fine folks at Mercedes Benz of Knoxville. Jarmo Kormu answered my email inquiry, about the vehicle, in a very timely manner and was nothing but professional and courteous. When I tried to get a bigger discount than they were offering, Jarmo's response was not just a "we can't do that" but a very professional response. I sent him a deposit to hold the vehicle, then flew from Charlotte, NC to Knoxville, TN to pick up it up. Jarmo picked me up at the airport in the ML and I took my test drive back to the dealership. Once there, they were quite hospitable offering me snacks and drinks after my flight. After signing a few forms for Jarmo, I was then taken to Terri Watson, in finance, to complete the sale. I had brought a check with me to pay for the vehicle, but she asked if I would be interested in seeing what Mercedes Benz finance could do. When it was all said and done, I had secured 2.74% financing, warranty coverage with MB for the next four years as well as MB covering my first payment! Once the "paperwork" was done, Jarmo sat down in the car with me and went over all of the controls and features as well as syncing my cell phone with Command via Bluetooth. He spent a good 30 minutes with me going over everything. I then shook hands and headed out on the four hour drive home that took me through the Blue Ridge Mountains. A very good way to get to know ones new vehicle! All-in-all, I can't say enough about the treatment I received at Mercedes Benz of Knoxville. If they have the car you're looking for, don't hesitate to "pull the trigger" and do business with Jarmo, Terri and the rest of the fine folks there.

I called Carie Dugan. i told her exactly what i wanted. She had it within a couple days. she is totally a class act as well as everyone there. i purchased a c 250. It is gorgeous. Carey was very thorough in explaining everything I had a 190 for years and had it serviced there. Gary Evans is the best in Service. Carie has even called me since the purchase to make sure iliked the car. Great Great place.
