Adam Gaydos was great to work with. He quoted me his best price right from the beginning without pressure saies or gimmicks. Other larger volume dealers were close in their price, but not as good as Mentor's. Adam was very knowledgeable and promptly responded to any inquiries. He also worked with me on some options and add-on's that I requested. I would definitely contact Adam if you're interested in buying. I even drove across town to pick up the vehicle because I like his price, but also liked his genuine professionalism.

Adam helped me buy my 2012 Kia Optima Hybrid EX and I couldn't be happier with both the car and how open he was about the car. He made sure I as the customer and first time buyer knew to hit every button and test every feature which showed me this guy was true and honest about everything. We were in and out while other dealers we visited when shopping around took half the time just getting ready for the approval process. Have a 2012 nissan versa hatchback for 2 years now and i never have any issue. I was a first time buyer and my buying experience went so fast and smooth. I would recommend buying a nissan again. Car had a recall and Nissan Mentor Service Manager Jarrod is so pleasant to deal with.. Car drives like the first time i got it. Love it!

I had a great experience buying a certified pre-owned Armada from Adam. He was quickly responsive to my initial inquiry and made me feel confident about buying a car at this dealership even before I arrived. I received a mailer about a lease promo with 9 months left to go on my Nissan Frontier Pro4X. I really liked this vehicle but the interior updates in the Murano were very appealing and far more advanced. I called and Robert answered the sales call, I told him if they could pay off my existing lease and get me into a Murano Platinum for no more than $20 more I would do it. I took my Frontier in and within a half hour he told me we had a deal, not a penny over what I was willing to go. My Frontier had low miles and was very clean which helped, I couldn't be happier with my upgrade!

We went in to the dealership expecting it to be like every other one out there but honesty it was the best car buying experience we have ever had. Our salesman Adam was absolutely amazing from start to finish with explaining everything and working to get us the best deal to the finance department who worked with many different banks to find what fit us..we then had a issue with my door locks and the used car manager Steve was great and made sure things were taken care of and handled for me we will definitely be buying all our future cars from there thanks so much!!!

Adam was excellent at seeing to it that I received the vehicle that fit me and my situation perfectly. The entire dealership was excellent through the buying process. When my Titan was totaled 3 weeks after buying the Adam & Frank went above and beyond to help secure my replacement Titan. Terri was excellent with the financing and making sure both purchases were stress free. I have found that all departments at Mentor Nissan believe in total customer satisfaction and will do what it takes to make sure customer completely satisfied.

Saw a certified rogue on cars.com. Sent email in for inquiry and received a follow text/email and sales call within minutes. Confirm the listing and the availability. Sales Girl was young and sweet and knowledgeable of the certified program and benefits of purchasing one. Set an appt for next day. Stopped in and took a decent test drive. Worked only a few dollars off due to a fair listing as far as I was concerned. Did all the papers and was on my way within and hour or so. I was treated fair and the car was cleaner and he process was painless for someone who hates to haggle.

Salesman ripped us off. We Were told 4wd / AWDVehicle. When we got payment voucher it said 2wd vehicle. The whole time we understood by salesperson it was AWD. Paid full price . Salesman knew we wanted AWD , and we thought that's what we paid for. GM never returns calls.

About 9 months ago I traded in my Honda for a 2011 Nissan Rogue and I worked very closely with Holly Flauto from Nissan. I could not have hoped for a better experience. From start the finish, I felt I could trust Holly and she went on to prove me right even after the purchase of my car. There was some minor routine problems that came up with my Rogue about 6months after the purchase and although this was not covered under my warranty, Holly went to bat and got me a great price on the fix, considering I had only purchased the vehicle a few months prior. She has truly become more of a friend then anything else and I have every intention of working with her again in the future and referring her to my family, friends and colleagues. Customer service at its best!

Holly Flauto was our saleswoman and went above and beyond to get us the price we needed to be at for our Rogue. Three months later we had a problem with the shifter column locking up that wasn't covered by the powertrain warranty and she again stepped up to help us out with the repair cost. Some dealerships claim to want to want to help out their customers but don't follow through and others disappear as soon as you sign the paperwork to buy the car. Holly stood by the sale and continued to look out for us after the purchase. I would recommend this dealership and please ask for Holly Flauto!

I traveled just over an hour to view a used car for my daughter. My sales person Jeff Farmiloe inspected and test drove the car and gave me a full description of the car before we even left home. His honest approach and his complete detailed description of the car before was spot on. I'd definitely recommend Jeff and would suggest to anyone to give him a call. He could save you a trip or like me you could find exactly what you're looking for and save some money.

This has by far been the best experience I have had buying a car. Holly Flauto was my sales person and everything she promised happened. I told her exactly what I wanted and she made it happen. I have never had any other dealer come through on ALL promises. There were no excuses why something couldn't be done. Even after I drove away with my new Quest, she followed up and made sure I was happy. I would highly recommend her and this dealership to anyone!!

I had a great experience! I ran in before closing at end of month. Adam was my salesperson. He did a fabulous job. He stayed 1 1/2 hours after closing to process the sales and patiently answer all of my questions. James, (the general manager) and the finance director also stayed quite late. Everyone was very patient and courteous. Nobody tried to rush me. I highly recommend buying/leasing a car from this dealership.

The sales team was awesome that worked with me! I was it a bit a mess ( my own mess from a vehicle that I previously had purchased) I had only been into my loan for alittle under 2 years and even with negitive equity they were able to help me get into a new car and at a great price. They worked hard at finding the best deal to suit my needs. They were professional but genuine and sincere. My personal salesman "Lenny" was very knowlegeable and honest. Even the finance department made things super simple for me and Im very thankful for all their help!

Ironically I wasn't in the market to purchase a vehicle from Mentor Nissan, but was trying to obtain information about a vehicle in Indiana that I was considering and thought it may have passed through Mentor. The Service Technician, Brian, and the Used Car Sales Manager, James, both spent at least 15 minutes with me on the phone, giving me as much information as possible and offering solid, helpful advice. They truly went out of their way to assist me, and I'm not even what you would call a "true customer" for them. However, that to me that was a sign of TRUE customer service - I would recommend this dealership based upon this experience alone and if I wasn't so far away and in another state, would definitely call upon them for my vehicle needs. Great job guys - it's good to see that there are still good people out there that are willing to help.

Purchased a used vehicle under the impression it had a full inspection because my salesman insisted the vehicle was inspected and was in perfect condition, come to find out after taking it back a few times for repairs that it was never inspected. Tires were below specs, control arm was broken, air conditioning needs recharged, serpentine belt needs replaced and many more issues. I wish I was aware of all these problems prior to purchase. Talked to the manager and his response was "people are human, they make mistakes" thanks manager! Please take your business elsewhere!

I went to go buy a new Nissan here and the sales price changed from online and I was given no clear explanation why. It got worse when I asked to speak with a manager and Robert came over to dance around the topic and offer me oil changes and was condescending and said maybe we couldn't afford that model. I tried to call the GM Jerry and was never got a call back. They claim business is up, I guess every deal doesn't count :( what a waste of time to be let down.

I do all of my service on my pathfinder here. I bought my car through them a few years ago and was treated well, and have had good experiences with the service department each time I've come in. This time it was for brakes. They were squeaking and almost making a grinding sound. I dropped the car off in the morning and they had it ready by the time I was done with work. I didn't compare prices anywhere else, but it seemed like a fair price and it was done by nissan guys, so I'm confident they did a good job. If it is convenient, I would recommend getting your car repaired here.

We visited Mentor Nissan on Sunday September 8th 2013 to test drive a car we found on Autotrader.com and were met by Bradford Worley. We were shown the car and we took it for a test drive. We both liked the car and told Bradley that we would call and let him know if we wanted it. Next evening we called and told him we were interested in the car but because the tires weren't so good that we would like him to adjust the price or put new tires on it. I gave him the adjusted price as it would be if he were no to replace the tires for us and he told us he would ask his manager and get back to us. On Thursday 12th September I, tired of waiting, called him and asked if he had spoken to his manager to which he replied " Oh I sold that car today". That was without ever returning my call. I just wonder if this is the standard that this dealership uses when dealing with serious customers?? I will certainly NEVER visit their lot again AND anyone I know will be informed of their business practices also. In my opinion this is a dealership best avoided!!!

I was in need of a new car and really not looking forward to the whole process. My Honda Accord was over 10 yrs old and just not in great shape. I was thinking of going back to Honda, but decided to try Nissan and Im glad I did. The sales staff here is very good. I never felt pressured, or forced in any way through the entire purchase process. This was the most expensive car Ive ever bought and they made it a nice experience. Had planned on buying a Toyota when my son suggested Nissan due to the high rating in Consumer Reports. Bought my Altima from Dan G, it was a pleasant experience, he was engaged and helpful without overwhelming me. It has been 6 months and I love the vehicle, great gas mileage. It performed above my expectations on Rt 2 in early morning rides to work this winter before the roads were serviced by ODOT. I received a fair price for my trade in, and I would recommend them to everyone.

My name is Chris French and I had bought a 2006 Subaru Impreza from them not even a month ago with 74,000 miles on it. LITERALLY 6 days after purchasing the vehicle, the clutch went in it. (not a cheap fix) Mind you I was told the vehicle was fully inspected, even the clutch. I KNOW THEY DIDN'T FOR A FACT. You have to drop the transmission in the car in order to get to the clutch. My mechanic says that the neither the transmission nor clutch have been touched (you can tell). After my mechanic told me that it was the clutch I proceeded to call them, they told me they would call me back, (week later, no call back) I call them, and am told I will be called back. (another week later) no call, so I call again. NOW THEY TELL ME THE CLUTCH IS NOT PART OF THE DRIVETRAIN!! go to ANY website, if you're looking for a clutch, it's listed under DRIVETRAIN. Never the less, drivetrain or not, warranty or not. They pretty much told me to screw myself because they already have my money and don't care. I thought I was in a great place buying from trusted people who cared but apparently that is not the case. I spent all my money on this car hoping it would last me longer than 6 days, and now have no money to fix it. It's been sitting at my office for weeks now. I now have no working vehicle and am out of $20,000.There is no way ANYONE burned a clutch out in 6 days, i'd had to spent day and night trying to burn it out. (I have been driving manual for years now)Today I even called up there asking if I bought the part, would they put it in for me? NOPE!!! They said they would put it in for me for about $250 if I bought the clutch, but I would have to have it towed there and pay for that too (another $150). My mechanic told me he would put it in for $150 because he feels soo bad for me and what Nissan did to me.I should have stayed at Mitsubishi where I started, they fixed a car my brother bought from them used for FREE, PARTS & LABOR. He didn't even have a warranty, I did. BUT AGAIN, NISSAN's warranty is only 1,000 miles/30 days and will only cover 50% of parts and labor ONLY IF it's considered part of the drivetain.IF ANYONE HAS any questions or want proof of this incident, my number is 440- 804 -6714, my name is chris. Only thing they where saying was that i did not purchased extended warranty, even tough sales man told me that I have complete warranty for a whole month. I had been looking for a replacement for my 2008 Acura, and had looked at a low end Cadillac CTS and a high end Buick LaCrosse. Neither could compete with the Acura (for the price I wanted to pay), so I started looking at Nissan Maxima's. I found 3 that had both the Premium and Technology packages within the area, which made them very comparable to the Acura.I contacted Mentor Nissan via the Internet, and got a quote from the Internet Manager Sam Ewais. The price wasn't THAT bad,so I wound up driving out there to take a look. A test drive convinced me that the car drove as well, if not better, than the Acura, so that with that out of the way, the negotiations began.At this point, Sam left, and I was introduced (I hope I recall the name correctly) to Jeff Young. At this point we started haggling over the trade in. It wasn't that BAD, really. It was as if he was thinking "You know I have to do this." He eventually came up to what I thought was a fair trade-in price, and in return, I didn't push too hard for the price of the Maxima. It wasn't that confrontational, more of good natured discussion.In the end, I got a trade-in and price that I thought was fair to both me and the dealer. So far, the car drives great. We started our search for a new car earlier in the year and Sunnyside was our first stop. We were really not sure what we wanted but knew a test drive in a JUKE was the first priority. We thoroughly loved the car and based on the lack of availability, so did EVERYBODY else. Well we tried out a number of other vehicles and brands at numerous dealerships and then started chasing down JUKES as they came in and flew off the lots. After lots of unsuccessful attempts, we took a couple months off of the car hunt.A couple weeks ago, I looked at a number of dealer sites and found that there were a few JUKE's at some of the dealers so out we went again. After two visits to other dealers, we emailed Matt and Amber, knowing they had no Jukes. Amber assured us they would get us what we wanted from another dealer. She called us and told us she had exactly what we wanted on their lot...about 36 hours later. We were excited and headed in that afternoon to do the deal. While we did dicker with Matt about the trade value, we knew what we wanted to pay and were able to get pretty close to that number. All the conversation with both Matt and Amber were respectful, reasonable and even fun, the exact opposite of our experience at another dealership 48 hours before.We heartily recommend both Amber and Matt when buying.

I dropped my car off for service and within 1 minute they had all the information they needed and I was off to work. Two days later I stopped by with a low tire warning light showing they then quickly put the car on a lift and a technition found a bolt in my tire and repaired the puncture and I was back on the road within 20 minutes. I was a devoted and loyal customer of another dealer who stopped selling Nissans. Another friend lives near Sunnyside and had a good experience with them...and I found this to be the case as well. The guys in the service department really seem to be looking out for me, and I have put my trust in them. They really care, they listen, and they go out of their way to be flexible as far as squeezing you in for a problem. I live at a distance and would make the trip even though another dealer is with 10 minutes of my home. They also have a lovely person working at the cashier desk.

We walked down the street to have lunch and during lunch it started to pour down rain so Phil called me and offered to pick us up whenever we were ready. I had a wonderfl experience last year with this dealership. I saw a car adertised online and inquired about it. When I tol them I lived in Lakewood (which is about a half hour away from Mentor) they said they'd be happy to drive the car to my home for me to see it and test it.I subsequently purchased the car. I did not feel pressured to purchase an extended warranty, the way some dealers can make you feel. I always thought that working with dealerships was a pain because of the pushy salesmen. This was my first experience buying a car and to my surprise, Sunnyside was exactly the opposite of what I expected. Since I live in Pittsburgh, PA, I didn't want to make the drive out to Ohio without knowing that I could get a fair price. Phil, the salesman we spoke with over the phone, said that our price range was doable for the car I wanted. Sunnyside went above and beyond - they offered the car to me at a price a lot lower than I was willing/expecting to pay. They were so accommodating too. They let me take the car home that day even though I didn't have the title to may trade and they gave me a few extra days to get my finances in order. On top of that, they treated us for lunch. Rob Gunther was really great to work with. He definitely went above and beyond to help me. My previous car had been totalled out in an ice storm this past early February (2011), and for me, I had only so much time alloted with my Insurance Company, for a rented car. So, I needed to get another car pretty quickly. Mr. Gunther was very helpful and understanding of my "unique" situation. He also essentially allowed me to get "GAP" insurance on my vehicle, using non-normal, above and beyond helpfulness for me. I was very pleased with my experience in the purchase I made from SunnySide Nissan in Mentor,Ohio. This was my first experience buying a car using the internet for conversation. Phil and I only emailed back and forth in the beginning of my decision process. This was necessary because I live a good hour and twenty minutes from them. Phil agreed to meet me half way with the car and the dealership was very accommodating to make me feel that they were the right dealership for me. I really appreciated a personalized folder that presented the cars history and maintenance. When Phil and I set a date for delivery of the vehicle, everything was ready, the car was prepared for delivery, I was introduced to the service department and was offered a complimentary first oil change. When I first got to SunnySide, I was on caution that it would be a big dealership that only cared about making the sale and not so much about the customer. But when I met Jeddy, my salesman, he made me feel like we'd known each other our whole lives and we were at our old stomping grounds. He never pressured me, and answered any questions I had but never tried to make anything up. There were a few questions I asked about the truck I was looking at he didnt know, but he told me just that. He didnt try and make up an answer or sugar coat it, he just told me he didnt know. I was looking at a used Dodge Dakota, so it was very understandable about a Dodge truck at a Nissan dealer. The truck was spotless, and looked very well prepared, unlike many trucks Ive seen on dealer lots. Even though the price on the Dakota was very reasonable, Jeddy did what he could to drop the price $500 because I had told him in friendly conversation I was an active duty Marine. My ride was running a little late as Id been dropped off to look at the truck, so after Id finalized the paperwork, I wouldve been sitting around. Instead, Jeddy let me test drive a 350z, to eat up the extra time, full knowing I wouldnt be buying it. Even after the sale was made, I was called monthly for 6 months to simply check how the truck was doing and how I liked it, even though I had no warranty that had lasted that long. This was by far the best experience Id had with a car dealership. They were all very friendly and made me feel at home. The next time I end up buying another vehicle, SunnySide Nissan will be the first place I go looking based off of their customer interaction.

We were ready to lease a new vihicle. We researched which car had the best options, including gas milage, cost, and style, for us and came up with the Nissan Maxima. We decided to try Sunnyside for a change, since we live in Mentor, and were very pleased with the service first and formost. We also considered a different car and dealership as our number 2 option. After visiting both dealerships, we chose Sunnyside. Phil Hibbert (our sales rep) was very thorough and professional in the whole process from start to finish. We were 50/50 on the both cars but Phil's attitude and interest in us caused us to choose the Maxima at Sunnyside. I would ask for him if you visit Sunnyside. We love our new car. It's pefect for us. I highly recommend Sunnyside Nissan to anyone interested in a new or used car. I just bought a new 2011 370z. I got the best price on the car when comparing other Nissan dealers. From the very beginning, Phil was very helpful in the entire car buying process. Sunnyside had to bring the car in from another dealership since it was not on their lot. Within 4 days of the initial call, I was driving away in my new Z. Since we did the majority if the deal over the phone, taking delivery of the vehicle was fairly quick-2 hours. Phil even came in on his day off to be there during the delivery. Rob in finance was very professional and helpful. Overall, my first experience with a Nissan went very well. The car is phenomenal and would recommend it to anyone interested in a sports car. Thanks again Sunnyside!

The entire buying experience was the best I've ever been a part of. Phil was extremely professional, helpful, and friendly. We even named the car after him. :-) We did a good amount of research for a fair price on this car, and Sunny came in even lower than we calculated. That and we had dinner on them! Thank you! My husband and I knew what we wanted for our new car. We had checked with 2 other dealerships and finally after getting online I found that Sunnyside Nissan had exactly what we wanted. We decided to take the 134 mile drive from Cambridge to Mentor to check it out. We were greeted by the friendly young men, Phil and Sam. From the minute we arrived we were treated as nice as anyone would want to be treated. After talking to Sam Ewais first, he introduced us to Phil Hibbert and he took care of us. We told him what we wanted and in no time he had the car at the door for us to test drive. We already knew that was what we wanted so after our test drive Phil continued to help us by first introducing us to the sales manager, Matt Smolik, who gave us the prices for buying and leasing. After talking with him and discussing prices and what we could afford he came up with a price we felt was fair. He, in every way he could, got us an affordable price. Phil was so helpful and knowledgeable about the Nissan Maxima. He explained so much to us about the car and the different features. We were surprised. He gave us more information than the 2 other dealerships put together! He was so helpful with the technology package on the car helping us set some of the features. He also made sure the car was spotless. He continued with paperwork, turning it over to Rob. We then met in Rob's office to sign the papers. This took some time but Rob was very friendly so we really didn't mind. We were told by everyone who took care of us to not hesitate to call for any reason. We had a great experience with Sunnyside and will return when we are ready for our next car. We would recommend them to anyone. When we left we felt like we had known these people forever. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE - Word of advice - do not take your car to Sunny Side NissanI took my Altima here for a under warranty repair in Nov, replacement of the rear bose speakers due to blown out/rattling noise. The replacement was quick, they provided a loaner car and the car was ready the next day. However, 2 things went wrong, which I found I out once I left the dealership; 1. auto-up window did not work. I called the dealership and explained, they explained that it is a setting that they must have tripped, and explained how to restore the auto-up 1 touch to default setting. 2. the 3rd break light that is located above the shelf that was left unsecured and rattled the entire. It was not until I arrive home and decided to examine my car that I realized this. I secured the break 3rd break light myself only to find it popping out again, 3 days later when I drove over bumps. a week later I took it back to the dealership who stated that nothing was found broken. It so happens the Loaner vehicle was an Altima also. I compared the 3rd light on the loaner and found that it was firmy tucked/installed and produced no moment. On my Altima, it moved about 3/5 of an inch to each side. When I bought this up to the tech he said "there is nothing wrong with and thats the bottom line! I cant replace it if its not broke, thats normal ware on a car thats 2 years old". I was very offended by his statement, and he refused to come out to verify. I asked to speak with a manager and the conversation that took place was shocking. The GM of the dealership (Greg), stated "we are extremely frustrated with your lack of confidence, if you don't believe in our competency you should exercise your right to go somewhere else. I have dropped cars off the lift in the past and told customers that we will take care of the repairs". I told him that it was me who is frustrated because they caused damage to my vehicle, and I had to spend my time, to go back to them to fix their mistake. He again insisted "according to my techs who we pay to go to school and be trained, their proffesional and solid opinion is that it is normal wear". Despite the fact that I never had that issue with the 3rd light popping out. He then repeated himself and said "in the past 25 years I had to turn customers down because, we as an independent dealership can do so, can you guess how many times that happened? I can count it on one hand" I was quite shocked by his statements, and told him that I do not feel that he values me as his customer, if he did he would not tell me he is frustrated with me, and that I should go elsewhere, he then repeated himself and said "I dont want to waste my time on a 20 minute diseration, if you dont have confidence in us, then why do you choose to come to us for this repair?" I told him "that it was their mistake, and I was giving them a chance to re-build my confidence in them, and I was not expecting them to tell me to go else where, and asked him how he would feel if he was in my shoes and a GM manager just told him that. he replied that "i would take my business somewhere else, and there is nothing else we are going to do for you today". There was nothing else to add as I understood that this Manager did not want to admit liability for his mistake.I contacted Nissan 800, and spoke with a regional specialist, who advised that I take my car to another dealership immdiately for them to remove the rear speaker shelf and document the condition of 3rd break light and the shelf as it was not normal ware and tare for it to shift 3/5 of an inch left/right.The next week I took it to another Nissan dealership in Bedford heights, who examined the 3rd break light and found that fastener/piece under the 3rd break light was bent, and no longer holding in place as designed. They stated they have seen it in the past that the clip/fastener is bent when the rear speakers/shelf is removed. They sent photos and documentation to 800 NissanThe following week the Nissan regional specialist advised they received documentation and it was reviewed by another department and deemed that Nissan Sunny Side caused damage and that they would be addressing with that dealership (did not provide any other details, but Im sure they would charge them back for replacement pieces, which probably costs $30-50, but it also cost them a customer. That is my experience, and I hope that examine your car closely before and after service - if you are ever HAVE to go to this dealership. This was by far the worse experience I ever had.
