Reese, the "sales manager", literally went to personal insults when I rationally explained my concerns with their used car inspection process. When I called him on that he proceeded to yell over me. When I hung up on him he called back to keep yelling at me.I explained the story to the sales guy that was "working" the deal and asked, "After the insults from your your 'sales manager', Reese, could you explain how I'm supposed to buy this car from you and have any dignity?"He didn't have an answer. He didn't even try. He just apologized.They clearly don't want to sell cars.

Buying a new vehicle can be tough. To some car dealerships we are all just a number but to McLarty Honda we are treated as family. James Forrester welcomed us with open arms. He was personable, professional, and polite. He knew that we were looking for a bigger vehicle for our growing family. James was persistent with helping us not only get a bigger vehicle but a BRAND NEW vehicle. The dealership lowered the price of the vehicle so we could afford it. Honda actually lost money on our deal but it didn't matter to them because we were treated as family. If you would like to get a reliable car but also be treated as a hardworking individual instead of a number go to McLarty Honda. Go and see James Forrester to find your next dream car. i did not want an inquiry on my credit report unless I knew we had a deal. The sales person assured me they would just "view" my credit history and not inquire. Well I get a notice the did an inquiry. To add insult to injury the manager spoke with told me that is was my fault for providing my social. I specifically asked the sales person not to do that and he lied to me. Terrible customer service. I think this is a good case for seven in your side.

Sales person was OK . But manager don't even want to talk to you. Get it or leave it. Hanging up phone. And it's after 20 minutes been on hold , while reseptionist was able to find somebody to answer the phone.Playing games with prices. Don't even think about buying car from this people.

We had a great buying experience with salesman Travis Evans. He was really nice and wasn't pushy at all. Took his time and explained things too us. We test drive a 2009 rav4 sport and loved it. There was some problems with the suv but Travis got that taken care of right a way when we asked him to.

My experience with McLarty Honda has been the most pleasant and efficient experience I have ever had with dealer BRANDON HARRALSTON (501)227-7000. I called him at 8:30 a.m gave him every detail he needed to know while heading to work... He worked on my deal and found me options to choose from so by the time I made it to the dealership I was only there for exactly 1.5 hours which included picking out my 2016 Honda Accord, test driving, going over contracts, etc. Brandon has beyond outstanding customer service , patience , and very TRUTHFUL. The person who greeted me was Doug Benning and was absolutely the best sales person for me. He was respectful and very professional. He worked with me to find the perfect car to fit my budget. This is our second vehicle purchase from this dealership. We think we received best deal on Odyssey that we purchased recently. Heidi (Salesperson) was awesome. She would not push us to buy anything. We knew what we needed, and had already negotiated the price through email. The car we needed was ready when we were at the dealership. We were out of the dealership with new car within 2 hours or so. We will consider buying from them again in the future.

I was pleased with McLarty Honda. However, I have come across a few problems. When I got into my car for the first time (after I bought it and they had been cleaning it/getting it ready for me to take home for an hour or so) I realized 1. The washer fluid notification was on (and the fluid was completely empty, by the way), the front lamp light was out, and there was no MP3 player or port for that matter when it was listed on the website and on the papers for the car. Next, I accidentally left my keys at the dealership (not their fault). However,when I got in contact with the salesperson who sold me my car she said she would get right back with me. Never heard from her. Tried again the following days and nothing. I plan on making a trip up there to try and get them but driving 30-45 minutes for something that no one can tell me is there or not is ridiculous. I love my car and I love the people who helped me get it. Besides the book in the car being for a newer model, the salespeople being inapproachable after the sale, and the car not being repaired fully before I drove it home; McLarty Honda is great.

I was in the market for a new civic, I started at Russell in North Little Rock, dealt with a really nice salesperson but they didn't have what I was looking for but there price was good. Decided to call McLarty Honda, first person I spoke with there was not easy to talk to (think his name was Tony) so I hung up called back, asked for a different salesperson was referred to Dillan who connected me with Conner Both really nice guys who seemed to work hard at getting me what I wanted. The car I wanted they didn't have but they searched for other dealers to find it and have shipped the next day. But, when that didn't work out, they worked with me on a different model civic BETTER then the one I wanted basically at the price I offered to pay. Overall great experience.

I had a phenomenal experience purchasing my very first car from Landers McLarty Honda. Every step in the process was excellent from reviewing their website, visiting, and even finding the best financing options available. Heidi was a jewel! She was kind, patient, extremely knowledgeable and trustworthy (a trait not always found in car dealers). All the staff I came into contact with treated me like a person not a sale. It was a great learning experience and I know I got a good deal with the Honda College Grad Program, which was explained to me fully. Oftentimes young adults are not respected or treated with dignity when they have questions. This was not the case at McLarty Honda and I am very grateful.

We only purchased our new Honda CRV EX yesterday and have less than 100 miles on it so only have a buying experience and have to say it was one of the best if not the best weve ever had. Could have not asked for a nicer person than Heidi to deal with. She was very professional and knowledgeable. I would not hesitate to contact her tomorrow if I needed another vehicle. Our only problem is that we live too far away to get by there very often , however, that is our fault. Heidi and her closing crew get an A+ from my wife and I!

Let's face it - the car buying process is not exactly something we look forward to, at least I don't . However, Landers McLarty pleasantly surprised us by making the experience an easy and enjoyable one. Even when we told them we were going to go across town to visit their rival dealership to see what price we could get from them, our salesperson (Heidi) and the sales manager (Reece) were very professional. They thanked us for coming in and told us to call them before we agreed to anything at the other dealer. We did so, and LM was able to beat the other dealer. We then returned to LM to finalize our purchase. We were given a fair price on our trade-in and a great price on the new car. We couldn't be more pleased! They really treat their customers with respect. They know that by treating them in that way, even if a deal can't be made, the customer will remember their professionalism and recommend LM to their friends. The dealership across town did NOT treat us with that kind of respect. The salesman stormed off in a tantrum and didn't even thank us for stopping by when we told him that LM had beat their offer, and that we were going back there to purchase from LM. Very unprofessional. Thanks, LM, for setting the example!

Loving my 2015 Honda CR-V with sunroof top and many other features that I'm finding day by day. I thought I didn't have a CD player but my salesman Raymond Brock showed me where it was hidden. The keyless feature is new to me because I'm always afraid of locking my keys in the car. But I find it better for me because I don't even have to take the key out of my purse. I traded my Jeep because it was a bumpy ride but now my ride is smooth. Now I have to read the manual like Mr. Brock said so I will know what all this smooth ride offers. Also, it was nice to meet the owner Mr. McLarty and get a nice handshake from him. Like I said, I'm loving my new ride!!!

May 1st was an interesting day. I owned a 2005 Honda Pilot and since I was way over 200,000 miles, I was test driving different brands of SUV's...GMC, Buick, Ford and then a Honda Pilot. Well, I test drove the 2015 Honda Pilot and I really liked it. I told Hugo right up front I was NOT buying today. My oh My, they offered me such a deal....they gave me what I wanted for my SUV sight unseen and kept adding deals until I couldn't refuse it. I paid less for my 2015 than I did for my 2005. The salesman, Hugo, and Mr. McLarty were very help and sincere. They gave me a deal that I was very happy with.

I knew I wanted to purchase a 2015 Odyssey. The sales associate was very knowledgeable and personable in his demonstration of the features of the car. My main concern was what features, if any, that I wanted to add on. I wanted and EX-L. There were three exterior colors that I found appealing. We were able to find my #1 color choice, with a very attractive interior color. They treated me very fairly on the price and my trade-in. My car was prepped and ready to go by the time we finished the paperwork. I drove away from the dealership very happy with my purchase and with the buying experience. I would add that purchasing a car is very low on my list of favorite things to do, but the sales associate made it a very worthwhile experience. Kudos to Landers McLarty Honda.

I knew I wanted another Civic because I love my little car so much, and my daughter is going to be taking it over for college. Contacted LM about the possibility of trading my 2006 CRV in on a new one. I gave Randall a punch list of items I wanted on the car - including low mileage less than 30 miles - and he worked to come up with a unit that met my needs. He was really good at keeping me up to date without being pushy or overbearing and in a short time received a CRV that had most of what I wanted - principally low mileage and worked with me to come to terms on a fair trade in and purchase price. In the end I feel I got a fair deal and never felt pressured or hurried. I would not hesitate to send friends or family to Randall and LM.

Bale Honda recently came under new management and is now Landers Mclarty Honda. I have bought 2 vehicles from Bale Honda in the past 6 years and was not happy with the new name. I do not have any respect for senior Landers and expressed this to my contacts at Bale Honda. While some people left with the Bale name, most people stayed and are very happy with the new transition. Junior Landers has spoken in depth to his new people about the differences he brings to the deal and they seem to be happy with it. So, I decided to continue to do business with them by having my Honda serviced and as always they did a great job. I recently decided to trade that in on a 2015 Honda Accord Sport on Friday the 3rd of April and I got the same amazing deal and service that I have always received from Bale Honda. We ended up getting the new guy at the dealership, although he said he had 4-5 years of experience before this dealership. Despite being his first sale at Landers McLarty, he was pushy, presumptious, and overzealous. It was only after we found another dealership that had the exact same car with 4k more miles for 1000$ less did we make any significant headway in negotiations to bring the cost down to the price we were willing to pay. We ended up taking the car we wanted home for a night to test drive, and when we brought it back we were able to bring the price down. After purchasing the vehicle, I followed my spouse out of the lot in the car we had left at the dealership the night before. I noticed that one of the back tires was very flat. After we pulled off in a gas station we discovered that there was a nail in the tire that had not been there the day before. We called the dealership and after a few minutes on the phone they said that they could patch the tire for free. After another hour sitting in the lobby we had our car back with a patch in the tire (which will reduce the lifetime of the tire) and a handful of entries into a drawing by a local radio station. Needless to say, it was not our idea of a fun afternoon.

Purchased a 2015 Honda Odyssey on Saturday. Salesman, James Forester, was very helpful throughout the process and not high pressure. Purchased a used car over the phone, new better than to do it but felt good about the dealership. When it arrived it had missing parts and some grinding issues that weren't disclosed during the process. Went back and forth with them and they wouldn't make it right. They would rather just tell me how wrong I am. It was so bad that I even tried to sell the car back to them and take a loss. They really tried to stick it to me then. Would definitely not trade with them again.

I bought my vehicle at the Landers-McLarty Honda on Colonel Glenn Road in Little Rock, AR (near the Rave theatre). I walked in with a fairly good idea of what I wanted to buy (a Civic) and although I stretched out the process by several hours battering the salesperson, John Y., with silly questions, I walked out with my dream car. As for the staff: John was very knowledgeable and professional. He got my monthly payment down to a level that was even better than what I expected. I left after the dealership closed, and he personally stood at the gate when I drove out. He was up-front and honest, traits which are getting harder and harder to find--salespersons and doctors are good examples. The sales manager was very polite and willing to work with me. The gent from Ally Bank who worked with me on the financing was very helpful and I certainly can't complain. The facilities were spotless. The facility staff were very nice. There were free snacks and drinks available. The car was in perfect condition with the exception of some sticker-related residue, which they removed for free as part of the post-sale detailing process a few days later. I have already recommended this dealership and salesperson to others and will continue to do so.

Anyone whose has ever bought a new car knows it's usually not the most pleasant experience. I mean, once you get the car, it's great, but the process is usually more than a little stressful. So, considering what I was getting into, my experience here at Landers McLarty Honda was actually pretty good. First off, I live in Memphis and was looking for a 2015 CR-V which was fairly new at the time and most dealers around here didn't have many options because they were still trying to get rid of their 2014 stock. Landers McLarty Honda had a much larger inventory of the new CR-V than anyone else in the region, so I took my chances and drove the 175 miles to Little Rock. My salesman was a gentleman named Hugo, who was very courteous and helped me find the trim and color I was looking for. I went there with the intention of making a purchase if they had what I was looking for and could work with me on the price, so I really can't speak about how pushy they might have been had I not been ready to buy. That said, the negotiations went fairly well. I waited on Hugo several times for 10-15 minutes as he went back and forth between me and the sales manager as is typical with the car buying process, but in the end we came to an agreement and I got the car. By the time all the negotiations were over, it was closing time for them, but I still had to wait about an hour for them to get the vehicle prepped to go. The facilities are very nice though and they had a waiting area with snacks, coffee, and TV so it went ok. By the time the car was ready to go, the guys who had washed the car had left and Hugo couldn't find the second key that they had used, so I went home with one key. Hugo promptly mailed me the second key the next day, so no worries there. Overall, a pretty good experience for buying a car and my wife loves her new CR-V. I would definitely consider buying here again in the future.

I've been having my car serviced at Bale Honda for years because we trust and respect Roy Spiller in the service department. Good news . . . Roy is still there, but the dealership is now called Landers McLarty. After my Accord got 183,000 miles on it I decided it was time to trade. We met an extremely nice salesman there named James Leigh. Roy had recommended a CRV for my next car and after researching reliability and safety reviews on Consumer Reports I decided he was right. They did not have an exact match for the car I was looking for so James found one in Springfield and had it brought down for me to test drive. It was perfect. I can tell you I'm not easy to please, but James was very patient and hung in there with us for four weeks until he found the perfect car for us. I also had a good experience with their sales manager Clay Walls who gave us more for our trade than two other nearby dealerships.

Purchased a Pre-owned 2012 Cadillac SRX from Landers-McLarty Honda in Little Rock, AR. It had far less mileage and was priced considerably lower than the comparable ones at the local Cadillac Dealership. On top of that, I was called back into Landers-McLarty Honda the next day because John in Finance, Manager Clay, Salesman Greg Haydel found an interest rate a full percentage point lower than what I was quoted from my credit union and secured a day earlier. I purchased a 2010 Honda Accord from Bale 4 years ago & I was ready for an upgrade. I went to the dealership not realizing that it had been sold. A salesman "working with someone else" saw me and asked if I needed any help. He got his sales manager to come help as it was late on a Saturday evening and most of the other salesmen were gone for the day. He was more than happy to help and we test drove a couple of vehicles & made an appointment for me to come in the following Monday to follow-up with one of the other salesmen. I spoke with Steve "my salesman" prior to my arrival on Monday& he was already up to speed. I knew I wanted the Honda Pilot I test drove and I knew my price range. They gave me a fair deal on my 2010 Honda as a trade-in and got my monthly payments to what I wanted!! Everyone was very friendly & I drove home in my new 2015 Honda Pilot!!!! 2 Thumbs Up for Landers McLarty Honda!!

I went in originally just to look for a vehicle. Bobby was so nice and immediately figured out what I was looking for in a car. He found the exact car I was looking for and was so knowledgable about all of it's features. They were so helpful and honest about the terms and buying options. They also have me a very fair price on my trade in. I had been considering buying a new car for a year and made it so simple that I ended up purchasing that day. I went back a few days later to get my windows tinted and their service center was so easy to work with. I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone especially someone with very little purchasing experience.

This was our best car buying experience. Dustin and Dillon were both extremely helpful in getting me what u wanted and working with me in every way. Dillon did a wonderful job going over the odyssey with us and making sure we were comfortable with it before driving home. We will be back to buy our next one! We had a good experience at Landers McLarty Honda. They didn't want us to leave until we were satisfied. The car we wanted wasn't in stock (pre-owned, low mileage, Honda CRV, leather seats, moon roof) so they went out and got it for us. And... gave us a good price! They are detailing the car as I write this, they said it will look like its brand new. Can't wait. In the meantime, they have given us a really nice 2013 loaner car. I negotiated my car online with sales person Dillon at the dealership. He gave us an excellent deal and beat all other dealers in the area. He had a professional attitude. The car was in perfect condition with just delivery miles. The dealership even reduced my agreed upon price upon purchase which was a splendid surprise! The finance and other dept. did not push me much to buy add-ons which was good. Dillon also came to my home to pick me up later that day to come back to the dealership to pick up my current car. A very happy experience overall. Highly recommended sales person and dealer.

Came in to look at an Accord 15 min before they closed on a Saturday. Ariel put us in a car with the trim level we asked for. We drove it and liked it. They wanted to sell but it was late so we asked for their bottom dollar. They delivered a fair price on the first try. We bought that night and the whole staff stayed late to process the purchase and trade in. Ariel was great with no high pressure, just the facts and a no nonsense deal. I recommend this dealership if you are tired of the high pressure salesmen who upsell and insult you with high prices.

I walked into the dealership and contacted a salesperson. I outlined the details and the rules that would govern the sales process. The staff met my requirements and negotiated in good faith. I am pleased with the process being followed and recommend the sales person that worked with me. I can be difficult to negotiate with and am blunt at times. I have been so impressed with my newly purchased Accord. The process of buying was made so easily. I went in looking for a particular color car with certain specs. They didn't have it on the lot but was able to get the vehicle within 24 hours. Then I was sent to talk with various dept. to make certain I had all of the bells and whistles of my desire. The hardest part was deciding on what to add in my opinion. Then finance dept. was straight to the point warranty and gap insurance. Upon that last signature in finance I was handed a set of keys. You would've thought I able to drive off at that time...NO! Tony McDaniel gave a through overview of all the features of the vehicle. YAY!!!!! With all of the great customer service...it keeps me driving a HONDA!!!!

I analyze and research things heavily before making a decision on things so I look at everything from price, reliability, mpg, features, price and available parts as I plan on keeping it for a long time. I got Bale and was greeted by Greg Haydel. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about the vehicles. We looked at the CR-V and the Civic. I had a hard time deciding between the 2 or still looking around. After thinking about things and his help, I decided on what I wanted. With the things mentioned above I Decided on the Civic. Greg had stayed til close getting the deal done and even stayed to make sure I got things set on my car and was happy. Zach Jones accessory manager also was very friendly and helped me with options. It has been a week and I couldn't be happier with my car or the service at Bale. Hope I will be writing another review 10 years from now about the same car.
