we bought a used truck from McCluskey and it will be the last vehicle we will ever purchase from them. Purchased the truck on a Friday, with a written contract that the dealer would complete specific work on the truck prior to our taking delivery. We completed all the paper work and loan prior to leaving that day, with the promise that we would have the truck in a week. We didn't get to take delivery of the truck for a month, the first payment was due withn days of us getting the truck. McCluskey promised to pay the first two months of our loan because of the poor service and delays - but we've yet to get any money toward the loan.Yes, we called and called, but they are pros at excuses and saying the responsible party is not available. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I leased a new car on Sat evening 10/22, went back Sunday morning 10/23 to return the car because I was not happy with it and they would not take it back. Then found out $1200.00 or products and packages were added on to my lease that I was not notified about or even asked about. I am having that money refunded to me, based on the experience I had I would not send someone I know here for a car.

Best car buying experience ever!
I've purchased 10 different vehicles from 7 different dealerships (military, move often) over the past 10 years. Dealing with Jayson Lopez at McCluskey Chevy was by far the easiest, quickest, most up front and honest car deal I've experienced, ever. We talked over the phone and came to an agreement on the purchase price, and by the time I arrived at the dealership (I live about 1 hour away) Jayson had all the paperwork prepared and the car ready to go. I think from the time I arrived to the time I was driving off the lot with my new Camaro was around 30 minutes. There was a small scratch on the rear left corner we noticed when I picked the car up; Jayson immediately told me a good time to bring the car back to get the repair done. When I arrived, Jayson personally took care of getting the repair handled for me while I hung out in McCluskey's awesome dealership waiting area. On a side note, that waiting area is by far the best I've ever seen. If they put in a restaurant/sports bar, I'd hang out there just for the heck of it. Once the repair was done, Jayson made sure to check and make sure there wasn't anything else I needed. I can't say I've ever had customer service like that at a dealership before. Even though McCluskey is an hour away from me, and I have a dealership less than 5 minutes from my house, I'll be making the drive back to McCluskey for now on. The customer service alone is worth going a little out of my way. Thanks to the entire McCluskey Team for a great experience.
Awesome buying experience
I called and made a deal over the phone with Jayson. We agreed on all the details, and by the time I showed up the car was prepared and ready to go. I signed the paperwork, and was in and out in less then 30 minutes. Straight negotiations, no games, honest to deal with. Highly recommended, I'll be coming back for all my future GM products.

As usual mccluskey customer service is horrible to say least. Kudos for Mike Castruci chevrolet for treating me with respect. Let this be noted donot buy a car from mccluskey any car period once they make the sale tough to bad for you if something goes wrong with your car no compassion what so ever. People like the mccluskeys sit upon their untouchable throne. Karma comes around sooner later and all i will have to do is sit and wait. I was raised to treat people right and with respect and you recieve that back obviously no morals taught there.my problem is 2016 chevy cruze with leak and water rolling around in my brand new car and recall on battery. Oh mighty mclusky could not even get me in for service so that big beautiful building and all your special things in your show room doesnot mean anything if you cant treat your customers right. I will not be back for new car there Mike Castrucci is the way to go first class service. Thankyou Mike Castrucci and employees!!!!!
Exsessively high price
I drove 25 plus miles to find out that my 3rd oil change was not covered under GM maintainence or by dealership. This has to be one of the few dealers in Cincinnati that will not give oil changes for life. I was told that an oil change and tire rotation is $49.95. I coukd have been told that this service was not covered by GM or the dealer when I scheduled a week prior to my appointment. I could go within 10 miles of my home and get this same service for half this price. The employees are friendly and helpful but that is a extremely high price for that service. Unfortunately I will go elsewhere for this service and save my money, time, and miles on my vehicle ( that was purchased at this dealership).

These guys know how to sell Vettes!
This was my first Vette purchased from McCluskey Chevrolet, but not my first ever Vette purchased. I have probably bought over 7 Vettes from other dealerships, but I will say this was one of the best experiences. First, Mike Davis makes buying a car easy from the sales management perspective. He doesn't play games. He is upfront and honest and gives you the best price and offer on your trade. Then working with Colin in sales was a super professional experience. That guy should be selling Lamborghini's or Rolls Royces. He is so professional, knowledgable, and polished. In addition, they went over my Stingray several times before I arrived to make sure it was a perfect example and ready to go. I will definitely be back and highly recommend them to other fellow Vette enthusiasts. They know these are special cars and treat them as such.
Karen Shepherd is amazing...how Customer Service should be!
Usually, people only take the time to post a review if they are unhappy. That is totally understandable and consequently you will normally see more bad reviews than good. I have been dealing with McCluskey Chev for the last 15 years, 4 new vehicles, 3 used. Have there been issues? Of course. But the manner in which an issue is handled is what separates the good Dealerships from the bad. If you are in the market, don't overlook this place!
Multiple failed attempts at the same repair
I'm not one to leave bad reviews but in this case is is more than acceptable. I've owned my truck for a little under 2 years and have taken it to McCluskey for almost all of the repairs. The second day I owned the truck I took it in for a bumper repair, fast forward to present date and they are still attempting to repair it. Their methods are not gm standards. They have attempted to glue plastic panels onto my bumper multiple times and have failed at every attempt. I dropped the truck off for the 6th attempt at the same repair on Tuesday June 21st. I picked it up on Monday June 27th. I pulled into the drive way and the bumper is already coming apart the same exact way it was before. I open my tailgate and it made a popping noise and now the tailgate is bent. I called the service manager Tim Shaw (who is continually dodging my phone calls) and he says that this bumper is a mystery and that they never touched the tailgate. After calling 2 other dealerships and confirming that replacing the bumper pads would be easier with the tailgate removed I took it back to McCluskey for Tim to look at it. He then had the audacity to tell me I must have hit something on the way home. He states that he has 32 cameras that show it left perfectly fine. I will never again take another vehicle to them. I'm even hesitant to take my service vehicle! Now the only option for me to get my vehicle properly repaired is to file a lawsuit. Which I have already begun the process. Absolute worst service center in the entire country.
I wish I'd experienced better customer service
I wish I could give this company a star less than 1. If I could I would reward them with a negative zero. I purchased a car on May 14, 2016. Today is now June 25th and we still have yet to have our contract finalized. We have been getting the run around from McCluskey since the day we bought the car. DAN, the manager, decided to walk away from us as we were talking after we attempted to express our frustration with the company, as if our frustrations and concerns were not important enough for him to address. Also over the last month and a half, we have been told by multiple employees that they will contact us by phone the next business day, WEEKS go by before we actually hear from someone. One of the business managers, CHRIS HACKER, decided to avoid us after insiting that we email her for the quickest response. Although no matter how many emails we sent she NEVER responded NOR called us back. McCluskey has officially made my first experience with finacing a car HORRIBLE! I had a better experience at the buy here pay here car lots.
Not happy rightnow
Didn't know about kings island promotion went this sat seen it called cause wanted the 4 free passes cause I just bought 2015 cruize for 18,000 was told it had to be done before I bought car but I just went to kings island for Istanbul time this year didn't know. I think they should still honor it or at least do 2 passes or something. I have bought my last 3 cars from you guys and I think maybe this will be the last. Not everybody sees these promotions but when they do spend a lot of money they should be honored.

Purchased a used car a week after we had it hazard flashers did not work, took car back to service kept getting the same story it would be ready & each day that it was suppose to be ready they were saying waiting on a part this went on for 2 1/2 weeks, I called several times & left messages for different supervisors & not one time did anyone call me back. This car should have not been for sale with all the things they had to fix after having it a week, we made a car payment & didn't have the car for almost 3 weeks from the runarounds. I will not recommend them to anyone & we will not purchase another car from here

I had the pleasure of dealing with Greg Halko. Greg is a "national search consultant" not sure if that's what his true title is, but It is an accurate representation of what he does. I went in to see him on a monday to help with finding a difficult to find vehicle. He called me later the same day to tell me they found one !!!. Sadly the deal fell thru on the other end. I had no fear he would find another. He did not disappoint ! 4 days later My difficult to find vehicle arrived in Cincinnati. The mechanics tested it , detailed it, and made it ready for my arrival. Greg is Caring and Understanding of your automotive needs, They have a very stringent criteria that must be met to insure You, Me, the customer doesn't get a vehicle with issues. I could not be any happier with the way Greg and his team went above and beyond to make sure I was a valued client.
Only place we buy from or allow to service our cars
I just purchased a '16 Corvette through Tony Moenster. I can't recommend him highly enough. He had everything arranged to that when my Corvette was built and ready to pick up, the process was smooth and very quick. In ordering the car, he was low pressure. He didn't try to force options on us that we didn't need or want.When it comes to servicing our Corvettes, I only deal with Larry Mallot at McCluskey. He has a reputation for being a Corvette expert, and I've always been pleased with his service.
Not so happy this time
I don't like the fact that this is the only Chevy dealership that does not communicate with you on the findings of the vehicle inspection. Yes, there was a paper left on my dash showing the recommendations. However, all other Chevy dealerships communicate with you on what is recommended on your vehicle. This saves time and maintains a better vehicle. No way another dealership would have sent me home to later find I need repairs that could have been completed at the same time of the visit. Totally, not a good experience with McCluskey this time.

Look you paper work over very closely if you have gm discount and rebates don't leave till it's right call gm directly before you leave with vehicle search the Internet for all the complaints very nice showroom your paying for it. Thanks

All Used Car Sales People Are Alike!!
Wrong; Bought a high end low mile beauty from McCluskey. Gregg Hoffman was the sales rep. He followed up with me 2 weeks after the deal to see if all was well with my purchased McCluskey car. I notified Gregg, not really.......I explained the issue, He said send me some pics That is not our style. I sent him some pics.... he called me back immediately told me to go to a place of my choice and he would reimburse me. I took care of the cosmetic issue, sent him the receipt that same day and the check Gregg promised arrived three days later. Excellent Customer Service here folks from this guy. Will I buy from McCluskey again? I don't know. BUT I WILL BUY from Gregg Hoffman and whoever the company is he is representing? Yes. He treated me right. It wasn't sold! See ya, not our issue. Back in October I bought my beautiful 2014 Nissan Sentra. I was happy with the purchase until I learned today that a strut needed replaced. I've only had my car five months! I was told "Not to hold your breath" that the sales department would do anything to help me even though I've only had it a short time. I cannot believe I am paying over $15,000 for a car whose strut is faulty after only five months landing me with a huge bill! Other than my scheduled maintenance I will not be a returning customer.
The day of our visit was a Saturday, very busy, however the schedule time slots was a great idea. Our sales person was great, we weren't just people buying a vehicle, but Justin Smith treated us as if we were friends from back in the day. When it was time to sign the paper work, everything was explained to the fullest, this was the first time that the everything was explained to the fullest, and even when we weren't sure, it was drawn out to make sure. that was something my wife truly appreciated.
Very Professional Dealership

My wife and I were looking for a new truck and had visited a few dealers. We came to Mccluskey and our search ended.I had actually thought I would get a 2016 GMC, but Mccluskey had 2015 new Chevy that they put a good price on. There where three items I needed to be included in the deal and all three were agreed upon and went off to my satisfaction. Mr Halko was our sales rep and he was very accomodating. This was the best vehicle buying experience I've had buying a vehicle and I love my truck.
I had been looking for a truck for over 4 months .traveled to over 20 dealerships with In 100 miles from my home , a lot of promises and headaches from these so called certified auto sales. i had finally gave up , then i saw a add come up on cars.com for McCLUSKY , started looking at all their inventory and they had a lot to choose from. i got a hold a salesman there whos name is JUSTIN HUBER a great young man who went through every vehicle for me and finally called me back with the vehicle i had been searching for. He had it ready for me up front when i got there ,unlike other lots i had called.Once i drove the vehicle , it was exactly what i was looking for ....he then went to the bargaining table w/his mgr. and got the vehicle for me at a great price . he is honest ,and worked for me to get what i wanted out of the deal.I GIVE MCCLUSKY USED CARS (GALBRAITH RD. Family oriented. Best car buying experience yet!
This was by far the best car buying experience I have encountered. I have bought 5 vehicles over the years at dealerships both large and small. McCluskey Chevy in the Kings Auto Mall outshined them all. We had the pleasure of working with Justin Smith throughout the buying process and still count on him as our "go to" person for all of our questions. Best deal experience
Very professional dealership. The only issue I had was the considerably lower trade in value I was offered I went from a Chevy to a Chevy. But was not offer what blue book or nada lowest value was for my car. I know it had some issues but as I have experience in this industry I know they will make quite a bit more at auction than they offered me. However this didn't stop me from buying there I like that dealership the best out of all of the ones in the area and when it comes time I will go there first.

I will not and would not recommend this dealer for a new car purchase. The showroom is beautiful and inviting. As for sales staff, I would not recommend. For starters, I was considering the purchase of a beautiful 2016 Chevrolet Colorado. Any I do admit, I'm a very indecisive person. The sales individual was professional initially however, the was short lived. Long story short, my so called salesman, Don, was able to drive me right out of the showroom and help me make the decision to purchase another make and model of truck. I would not recommend this dealer to someone looking to purchase a new car/truck.

A rocky start, but a good finish
I contacted McCluskey because they said on their website that they could get financing for anyone. I had been turned down by other dealers because much of my income was from a job I had just started. I worked with Courtney Hamilton, and later with Andrew Rogers. I was up front about my previous experience getting turned down for financing, and asked if they could do what other dealers could not. At first, I was told they could, then they decided I was not eligible for financing.After further discussions, and some periods in which responses were a bit slower than I would prefer, I met Andrew in person, and he found a car that suited my needs. In the end, I felt I got a good deal on a good vehicle. I was glad they decided to take a second look at my situation and found financing for me. They also found a good rate for insurance for me through their affiliated insurance agent.
Bought a kia 18 months ago with a power train warranty and now it is a void warranty when I needed to use it. Claiming third party warranty company when I was never told it was a third party company when they sold me the car. Would of never bought the car if I would of known that.
Very efficient way of buying a new car. My husband is hard of hearing and the salesman, Andy Geier was very patient with him.
After an initially bad experience at McCluskey that almost turned my wife and I away from dealing with them again, Gary Freese and Rob Watkins stepped in and performed a total 180 degree turn in regard to the service level my wife and I had received with a particular situation at that dealership prior. They should be commended for their patience, understanding and overall grasp of the real meaning of customer service. I recommend them 150%...please go see these guys! You won't regret it!

After a horrible experience at Jeff Wyler Chevrolet in Eastgate, I contacted Mccluskey. Not only did they give me a price that was much better for the same vehicle as Wyler, but they did it in minutes. I would urge anyone looking to buy a new Chevrolet to not waste there time in going to Jeff Wyler. You will spend a lot of extra money, and waste a lot of extra time, and be treated horrible on top of it. Mccluskey Chevrolet was by far the easiest and best sales experience I've ever had.

Didn't know buying a car could be so easy
Last Friday I went in to purchase a new car. I had been in an accident the week before and my car was totaled so needless to say I was not planning on buying a new car anytime soon. I purchased a 2014 Ford Fiesta from Tony Semona. I had only bought a car from a dealership once before and I can say both experiences were completely different. Tony was there to help me and answer any questions I had because it wasn't just about making the sale for him but rather me getting the car that I needed. I will definitely be recommending him and McCluskey to anyone I know in the Cincinnati area that needs to buy a car. I am so happy with my purchase and it's all thanks to Tony.

I had a recent problem with McCluskey after a car buying experience, after making my complaints known, I was immediately contacted by Karen and she made the bad taste in my mouth disappear. Everyone I dealth with, including the service department was willing to go above and beyond tomake my situation much better.
We purchased a new 2015 Malibu at McCluskey and the Sales Rep Tony Semona made it an enjoyable experience. This probably happens often, but he was there helping us through the process two hours after the dealership closed. It meant a lot for him to stay there and work with us even though it was late. Tony never pressured us with the sale. He was very personable, professional, and made buying a car simple. We highly recommend Tony Semona as he can answer any questions you have. One of the things that we were impressed by was the commitment to our satisfaction. He wanted us to come back to him for any questions/concerns/comments we had in the future, and didn't just want to get the sale over with and for us to leave.
Very Disappointed with McClusky's contacted them on June 25 to look at the Chevy Spark's 2014 model was told we needed to make an appointment which we did for Sunday June 28th at 3:00 pm with Greg Hoffman was told the car would be held for us which we thought was odd. I asked if the price on line would be good for Sunday and was told yes and was told we would receive $25 gift card.Upon arriving for the appointment we were informed the salesman was off that, it would have been nice if someone would have taken the time to email or call us to let us know he would not be available and like my husband kept saying to me that car is not going to be there and he was right we had checked the internet on Friday and it was not there so I assumed it was being held. At this point we were ready to leave, the bright spot of the visit was meeting Victoria Franklin she talked my husband into at least test driving another spark and we also test drove the sonic but he was not in the mood to make any deals at this time, Thank you Victoria for stepping up and taking on the blame for what had occurred and apologizing for this, if I ever returned to buy a car it would be from you, After the test drives we left and forgot to get the gift card. Really disappointed and not sure if I would recommend McClusky's to my friends although with Victoria I would have to mention her
Start to finish, great sales experience
We just leased a new 2015 Cruze at McCluskey. We worked with one of the Internet team sales managers, Corbin Stamper. It was unlike any new lease experience I've ever had at a dealer, and this is my third. This guy was legitimately invested in our desires from the start, found us ways to save money we never even would have considered (e.g. - money off residual for having a competitive lease under our same address), and never ever ever pressured the sale. He encouraged us to visit other dealers and said his offers would bring us back, and he was absolutely right. He was genuinely respectful and professional throughout. We love Corbin and couldn't be happier with what we walked out with.
Straightforward and responsive
Having dealt with several dealerships both past and present our experience with McCluskey and specifically our sale rep Rich Heimbrock was straightforward and positive. Rich has our highest recommendation. In full contrast with another local high volume dealership which was both dishonest and pressurized. My own career sales in a very different field gives insight to the process. Rich Heimbrock is one of the good ones.

We had the best car buying experience of our lives at McCluskey Chevrolet. Our salesman, Justin Huber, was friendly, honest and straightforward. For the first time, it felt like a salesman was genuinely looking out for our best interest!! There was NO rush and NO pressure to buy and the financing was painless.I would recommend this dealership to anyone in the market for a vehicle.
This place is amazing!
The place was amazing how hospitable it was set up from the pop machine to the candy bar. I came in to possibly purchase a used truck but low and behold drove away in a brand new Malibu. The salesman Josh Mullins worked his rear off to get us into the car for my family and was able to accommodate our needs and has even called and texted to make sure that the car is ok and that we are beyond satisfied with the move to purchase a car instead of a truck and I have to say WE LOVE THIS CAR! We have been and will always be a Chevrolet family. This is the second Malibu we own and are happy with both of them.

Poor customer service
Attempted to make an appointment for a engine repair and got the phone runaround. I decided to go to another dealer. Won't be back
I purchased a vehicle from this dealership two months ago. The sale experience was A++ however when I went to get my routine oil change, I experienced a lot of confusion. When I scheduled the appointment they didn't say anything about driving my car directly to the garage. So I parked my car, walked in I didnt know where to report to. I went to the cashier area and they were like just pull it in. They really should have explained that when the appointment was made. I believe the customer service of the service department needs improvement they should reflect the same service of the sales department. If I didn't have a warranty contract with this dealership I would not get anymore oil changes here. However since I'm under contract I have no choice. Hopefully the next experience is better since I been through the process.

I had been car shopping for awhile and my experiences with some sales agents were not very pleasant so by the time I got to mccluskey I was very guarded. I ordered my new Corvette Z06 at the end of August with Tony Moenster. From the beginning Tony has been thoughtful to provide regular order updates. When the car arrived I was further impressed with Corvette specialist, Larry. Both guys genuinly seemed excited for me and the arrival of the new car. Service employees were friendly. We went to pick up our 2015 Silverado which was in for an oil change. We had to double check the license plate number as the truck was so clean we weren't sure it was ours! When we brought it in it was covered in dried/frozen mud! I have bought two cars from Mccluskey . One used almost two years ago and now a new one both have water issue . When it rains the inside of car gets soak . Its unbelievable that a new car can have that issue . Im am however thankful for how my salesman handle the whole situation, Bill Stouffer did everything he could to help make the situation better ! All though both my car experiences went bad . I was so impressed with how Bill handed the situation. I work in customer service and know how important it is to take care of the customer for returning business by word of mouth . I will not hesitate to send business too Bill . I was referred to McCluskey Chevrolet through a client where I work, and after buying/leasing over 15 cars all over the place, I can say this was the first enjoyable experience I've ever had on all levels. We had such a great overall experience when we bought our new Traverse that we went back a week later and bought our daughter a 2013 used car from the same salesman. The only thing that would have been nice is to have received some sort of incentives for buying another car. We have also referred three friends for new vehicles.

This review may change depending on future events. I just bought a 2010 Mini from this dealer and about 2 weeks later had to jump the car in the cold to get it started. The service department had to get a hold of the salesman in order for me to "schedule" an appointment to get the car checked out to see if its the battery or something else. Why are they not able to just let me bring it in, so they can check if the battery is bad. If its something else then yes I can understand having to wait to get it serviced. However, they told me on Tuesday 12/2/2014, that no appointments available this week. Really! I have to worry about maybe needing a jump for at least a week before even getting it checked for this!! This is horrible customer service, and something needs to change real fast. I will be even more upset if it indeed turns out to be just the battery!

Great staff, show room, and facility
I came in not knowing what to expect because I wasn't quite sure what I wanted. I explained everything to my salesperson John. I explained what I was looking for and John got me exactly what I wanted. Not only did he do that but he pushed the banks to get everything to where I could afford it. This was my 5th car I've bought and my first car from here, and this was by far the easiest for me its ever been. I would recommend this place to anyone and for sure will be coming back in the future.

I love the very late night appointments. the space to relax, watch TV, have internet access and work desk where I can bring my lap top is just what I need. love the snacks and soda. we have two Chevys and about to buy a third. the largest reason to buy the next Chevy is the ability to have the same day late night service. oh and the Equinox is a great car. My sister already has one.

I've only had one bad experience with the service department and that was almost 3 years ago. That problem related to gage cluster that needed to be replaced, I was told it had to be ordered & would be called when it came in. After 2 weeks I called for status & was informed it hadn't come in when I called the second time for status was told there was no record. I have to say the guy whom I spoke to then took care of it and got the part in a few days. I felt it was very dangerous driving around not knowing my speed or fuel amount. Research showed this was a known problem with cavalier & GM didn't recall - I was disappointed that the company would treat their customers in this manner especially since I have always bought Chevrolet cars. Since this incident no problems with service department.

Pleasant Car Purchasing Experience
We called about an auto from the internet and luckily we joined up with Eric Haslem. Eric, a friendly and knowledgable fellow, took the time to explain the automobile and the financing involved. What I liked is there was no high pressure and it was an enjoyable experience. Also, several minor problems with car, Eric had fixed. Guess you could say, I am a happy customer and will be back when I decide to purchase another automobile. And, of course, I will be looking for Eric! KRH.

The service was (as usual) wonderful. It seemed like only minutes and my car was ready - and it was washed inside and out, too - I love you guys! 2 problems which would never deter me from coming back: one of your employees had the worst-ever after shave lotion on. It truly gave me a headache. The scent was everywhere I went in an effort to get away from it. I think the guy bathed in it. Kind of wished there had been an outdoor waiting area .... and the 2nd problem was that the Starbuck's coffee machine was OUT OF ORDER. EEK! But I survived with water!!

When I come to McCluskey for service, the service manager and technicians know my name. This is because I have had my service done there since 2000; not because my car needs frequent repair. When I needed my brakes replaced, they worked me into the schedule that day. They dropped me off at work and picked me up when it was done. In addition to the brake work they changed the oil & filter and fixed the airbag warning light. It hasn't lit since. Although I have never used an airbag it is comforting to know that it will work if needed. McCluskey gives excellent care.

Wonderful facility, great staff
Mccluskey has been absolutely fantastic, however, we are less than impressed with our Chevy Malibu. It has had problem after problem, yet it still has not been properly repaired. Worst choice of our lives was to purchase another GM vehicle. The car is a lemon, end of story.
What a wonderful place that is, such interactive features and plenty of room to relax and unwind while waiting for your vehicle to be finished. Even the amenities like the things to eat and drink are outstanding. I was made to feel unwelcome, briefly, by one person whom I believe was just not necessarily a people person. I also am very confounded by WHY I am getting email notices saying I possibly "missed" my Service appointment ? What is that about ? Very unsettling, did I not get logged in when they did my Service ? Or perhaps they didn't do the Service and just made the car look better ? Overall though I am very pleased with the treatment I receive, just need to clear up why the emails say I missed my scheduled service.

Okay Customer Service
We went on a busy Saturday. After looking at cars both inside and outside, for about an hour, no one came over to ask us if we needed help. Eventually, we went to the front desk to get a sales person as we were interested in a vehicle. The sales person stated someone would be with us shortly. After 15 more minutes, we were frustrated and left. On our way out, we called and spoke with the Sales Manager. He asked us to come back in, which we did and got us with a sales person right away. From there on, it was a pleasure, outside of taking several hours of the closing to go through.
I put an inquiry online and had a salesman call me back. His name was Sean Casey. I told him my horrible situation at home and that I was looking for a program that would work for me.I told him I was looking in the $4000 or less range for a vehicle with $800 down range. I had some phone problems and had to call him back a couple hours after I talked to him. He tells me that I qualified for the buy here pay here program with 1500 down (they could work with me on this) for an 8000 dollar car. I tell him I don't want to spend that much and he says with the buy here pay here program that is my only option, but he will look into it further. I say shame on McCluskey for taking advantage of people with little to bad credit. Why not offer the cheaper cars to them so they have the opportunity to pay them off. Why make someone get a loan for 8,000 when they are struggling and would be happy with a car loan of 4,000. That doesn't sound like a good business plan if you ask me. I want to thank Sean Casey for all he did to help me and I am just sorry we couldn't do business. I was hoping that because of the big name and popularity of the business that they were really about people.

2 Strikes and you're Out!
So this is the second time, I enlisted the services of McCluskey Chevrolet at The Kings Auto Mall. The first time was 36 months ago for a 2012 Cruze lease. They just couldn't seem to gets their ducks in a row. Too many layers and too many sales gimmicks to wade through. So I never even got them to offer a realistic lease price on the car. Strike One. So, here we are at lease end and I am looking for an affordable student lease for a 2014 Equinox. I contact 4 dealerships; McClusky, Voss, Columbia and Castrucci via the Edmunds.com dealer portal. We'll save that story for another forum. Needless to say call or visit the dealerships you choose.I go to McCluskey first and am greeted warmly by a young man, and I give him my info, timeline for purchase and desired model/trim vehicle. We drive a loaded demo. Insult #1. I asked for a base model for an affordable student payment and they show me a maxed out model at $30k. We go inside and I tell him again my needs and desired (fair) lease payment. That results in a LONG wait to see the 'sales/floor manager'. I love these games. My courteous salesperson comes back and he even can't believe the offer he has to present to me. I try the old fashioned method of writing my offer on the paper and crossing out their other offers. Another LONG wait. Salesman comes back and Poof! The price dropped $10.00! I thanked him for his time and promptly left. From here out I visited two of the remaining three dealers and had similar results. I said thank you and left. The fourth dealer I dealt with the internet sales manager from beginning to end. As each of the dealers checked in over the course of the next few days, I advised them of my lowest lease price and my desired price. I told them each truthful numbers and which dealership had offered the lowest price so far. I decide not to screw with this too long, otherwise it becomes a never ending game of callbacks and misleading offers. I gave them all until Thursday night at 9:00pm (the closing time at the last dealership).Now it was down to two active dealerships; Voss and Castrucci. Voss lost me when they could not meet my target price while I was at the dealership and ready to take delivery. That left a bad taste in my mouth. Next day the had "re-examined the deal and they could meet my price". Whoa. Magic! I like magic a lot. Anyway, by the 9:00 pm deadline I was sitting in the Castrucci showroom preparing to sign papers.The deal could not be finalized since they had to arrange for a dealer trade for the car. No problem, we'd come back the next day. So here is the final recap of my leasing experience.....-Voss. Old fashioned '4-square' game and tactics. Also, I forgot to mention, this was Voss' second time trying to lease me a car. I had also contacted them on the Cruze lease back in 2012. They pulled the same BS.-McCluskey. Never offered a semi-realistic price for the lease. Said they could beat the best offer if I had some type of substantiated dealer paperwork. Same BS from 2012.-Columbia. Two tips boys. 1) If a customer walks into your showroom, walk over, greet them and offer to help. Its not rocket science. If I have to seek out one of you sitting at your desk playing Angry Birds, you've lost me already. 2) If you contact me because I purchased their before, make that mean something. Make me want to choose you again. Don't forget my name, or what I bought, or the fact that I gave you a fair offer and you choose not to accept it. and the Winner is!Castrucci Chevrolet in Milford. They handled it all using email and courtesy. Kevin Bachman was flawless in his job; selling cars. They not only beat the other dealers on their offer, but, I got more car for the money since they beat MY fair lease price for a Equinox with a higher trim level (additional options) at no additional cost. I hope this helps some folks out there with their future attempts at buying. Be informed. Know your prices, options and trim levels. Be aware of dealer holdback and ALL incentives that are available to both dealer and customer. You will always leave money on the table. That's the way it works. The trick is to agree on a fair amount for the parties involved. Make sure YOU can feel good walking away feeling like you got a fair price and terms. Most of all.........respect. You are the customer. You deserve it. If you don't get it; leave. Also remember to give it in return. Never feel uncomfortable. If you do; leave.One final note......I got a text and call this morning from one of the dealerships who chose not to participate in my buying experience. This after owning the new vehicle for about two weeks. Seems the sales manager wanted to followup (missed sale mandatory phone call I'm guessing). He asked if there was anything to do to get me to buy my new CRUZE from them. STRIKE TWO YER OUT!Good Luck!

Saw the car on their website----went and they said the engine is messed up. The car is listed on the website as Excellent still. Talked me into buying another one, saying no problems with this one. Paid them. When i checked the AC is messed up. They promised to fix it. I sat for three hours, and the mechanic accidentally disclosed all the other Problems with the car to me because she thought the car was mine just getting serviced. Actually God sent me that woman to me..... The good news they gave me my money back. The thing is out of complete HONESTY, I told them I am inexperienced with cars that is why they played on me.
Great experience. Adam Simon was an amazing help and so very helpful through the whole experience. He was very knowledgeable and went out of his way to make the experience very easy. While some things fell through after the fact, but the whole team worked so hard to get it resolved in a positive manner. I would definitely recommend McCluskey to my friends and family and will definitely be back.

Don Butts, dedicated saleman, can't redeem experience.
Around 2PM I called to set up an appointment. Spoke to a lady named Hannah. She assured me the vehicle I was interested in, Stock A70885MA, ( A Scion Xb ) was there and I could see same. Made an appointment for 4:30PM with salesman Don Butts. I finished an errand early and arrived at dealership about 3:30PM. Was told by salesman car was no longer available. Asked if I would look at any other, I explained I needed a lot of room in any vehicle because of my size. Salesman was kind enough to get transportation when he noticed my trouble walking because of recent surgery. Transportation was "taken" by two young employees as salesman was talking to me about the cars at which we were looking. We walked back to showroom. There I was told computer system was down and we couldn't check on any other cars at that time.I don't like being lied to! Experience make it seem like you are desperate to just get a body in the door. The two young employees that "took" the transportation sealed the deal, what customer awareness!

Everyone was very friendly and helpful during my visit and I was able to pick outthe best car for the money.

Lots of nothing going on
When my fiance wanted to purchase a used car, we went to McCluskey because they had sent her some literature and they seemed like they really wanted to work with her on her less than stellar credit. When we first arrived, the salesman, Greg Holleran was attentive and friendly, and let her test drive a few cars. Within fifteen minutes, she picked the one she wanted and we went to find out financing. She was approved within 30 minutes! So far so good!Seven, yes seven hours later, we left with the car she wanted. I have never dealt with a salesperson as seemingly inept as ours was. Not only that, but there had to be easily a dozen employees in that enormous building just standing around, doing literally nothing, for the seven hours we were there. One might think that with all the extra hands on deck our process could have been expedited, or we could have at least been kept in the loop more than once an hour.So when we finalized the purchased, she added the "Strike Force" coating package. When she tried to call and make an appointment to have it applied, unsurprisingly, Greg was nigh impossible to get ahold of. When she did get ahold of him, he set up the appointment wrong. She told Greg she also was concerned about the brakes on the new vehicle so he only put in the request for the brakes to be done, not the Strike Force. We didn't know this until we came back to pick up the car. When we picked her car up the next day (Wednesday), the brakes had been done, but the Strike Force had not been applied. We couldn't ask Greg about it because he was off work until Sunday! Fields Ertel is, to put it mildly, out of the way for us and it is frustrating to have to run back and forth and waste gas because of the complete ineptitude of our salesman and the laziness in general of the employees there. With so many people around, one would think that problems could get addressed by more than one person.I would rather deal with someone who knows what they are doing, and a company who actually cares about the customer than a company that relies on a bloated, gadget laden sales building to drive sales. This will be the first and last time we deal with McCluskey.
Me & My husband recently worked Greg Holleran to purchase a used vehicle, the experience was aboslute "Awesome"! Greg was a great sales person, he was consisted in communciating with my husband Darrel. He kept in contact with Darrel and we will forever be grateful for that. Chris Hacker was awesome also, she was clear, with the details. Darrel kept her laughing which made the visit to finance office fun!... We love, love the new facilites!... I wrote a review of McCluskey before I had the chance to visit and meet a salesman face to face. For a few days, everything was great. Excellent Customer Service, my sales person, Greg Holleran, was friendly, got to test drive a few vehicles, the facility is extremely nice and welcoming. Then the truth came out. I am not going to go into my whole story but this is why I will never shop McCluskey again. Every dealership is pretty much the same, in their defense. I went into the dealership on a Tuesday, not expecting an approval because of my financial situation. Greg put me in the system, completely understood my situation and while we were waiting on an approval, got to test drive some vehicles. It was really nice at the time. It was getting close to closing so they didn't receive an answer from all of the banks so we parted ways and was told I would hear something the next day. Next day comes and I received an exciting phone call from Greg saying I was approved. It wasn't for the vehicle I wanted but I still was approved and excited to select and test drive a few other vehicles. I kept in contact with Greg, and at the time he seemed really great and responded to my emails and dealt with me, and I am not very easy to deal with. The weekend approached and I lost contact with Greg. He wouldn't respond to my emails or phone calls. Mr. Paul Cluxton, a manager, sent me one of those automatic emails where it says "thanks for coming in we can't wait to sell you a car". I attempted to email and call Paul, no answer. At this point all I want to do is select a different vehicle and test drive it. Monday comes and I FINALLY hear from my sales person. He wasn't in all weekend so he apologized and I also apologized for emailing him and calling so much. We scheduled a time to do a test drive and I was happy again. I did have to reschedule that one, and another one and one after because of some personal family matters. I understand it was probably frustrating to Greg, however I still wanted to come in and buy a vehicle. To make a long story short, Yesterday I called to tell him I would definately be there Thursday (TODAY) and I was ready to test drive and buy. Then the song and dance changed, Magically I needed more down, and I wasn't completely approved, but Greg promised he would call me later that day and tell me a final decision. It is Thursday, almost 24 hours later, I have not heard one thing from him or anyone else from McCluskey. I wish they would have told me I wasn't approved from day 1, because they knew my whole situation from jump street!!! Ridiculous. All I wanted to do was get in a car and get rid of the current Lienholder and interest rate. McCluskey acted like they cared and did not give me the time of day or even be honest with me. My biggest pet peve is being lied to. That's McCluskey's motto, lie, lie,lie, ignore, lie some more! It is extremely frustrated. I wish I could find a dealership with decency and respect!
Excellent customer experience
I recently worked with Pat Cavanaugh on the purchase of my new Suburban. Pat was a pleasure to work with and a true sales professional. He is very knowledgeable of the vehicles he is representing and goes above and beyond to make sure everything is set before you drive off. Great Service, clean facility
When I arrived everyone greeted me with a "GOOD MORNING". It seemed as if they were waiting on me( I felt very special).The service rep( I can't remember her name) went over the services needed, then asked my to sign the order. The service took less time than I expected, all services were completed without any problems. I have 2 recalls and Terrance Turner took the time to call your location in Mason,he stated someone would call me to schedule an appointment when parts were available.I just love the Reading location, it feels like family, always so helpful, even the cashier was very pleasant, as always.I look forward to seeing them at my next 3000 mile oil change.

Deeply appreciate the phone calls from the tech (Larry Malott) telling me what he found and what he recommended. Great communication. Love that McCluskey has a tech dedicated to Corvettes.
As always I am pleased with the service and especially happy that the manager checked to see if the recall parts were in and they were so I didn't have to come back. Also so appreciated the car wash.

Your service advisors are very nice. They listen and do everything they can to remedy the problem. They are great at keeping me informed of the status of my vehicle. The waiting area is conducive to working...or doing some MAJOR relaxing!
Great place! Very comfortable
I came to get an oil change and it was done rather quickly. However, when I got on the expressway a sensor light came on. I called back to the service department to let them know. And, the woman on the other end sighed and said, "Soooo...are you going to bring it back?" Slightly irritated,I told her I could and I returned within 30 min and I did (8:30pm). The sensor was fixed quickly but I really didn't received an explanation of what the problem was.

I have to take my car in frequently for service because I put a lot of miles on my car so its almost every other month but since last yr no one have been able to correct my phone number. last visit was waiting for over 1 1/2 hrs and when I went up to check they said they had been calling my phone, well it was the wrong #. the man was very nice and paid for my service that time. I think they are great its just the computer work that needs brushing up on. :)
Was just there for an oil change and tire rotation. Was in and out in about 90 minutes. Liked having the pager so I could walk around outside.
Great amenities in the waiting room
After 12 yrs of having my prev car (Pontiac) serviced at Borcherding Buick--Borcherding's service dept is what I compare McCluskey to. Despite all of the amenities in the waiting room this dealership, it lacked the personal element--ie: keeping me informed re: what was going on with my car, what was found after checking the air conditioner etc...
Kevin is great (He looks like Kevin Costener). He always remembers me an dmy mom and makes me feel really good when I come in... like a concierge! Also, great look for the waiting area!

Do not do business with this dealership
Worst experience of my life in dealing with car dealers. They ran my credit 5 times without my permission, oficially trashed my credit score by doing this and now I am left with a sub 700 credit score while trying to buy a house and have continued to get letters in the mail from more banks that they have ran my credit at. They tried to rush me in and rush me out without a proper explanation or even tour of the vehicle and the price of the car. I would have bought the car for more than the purchase price beacause it was exactly what I wanted, but upon being treated the way I was I wanted to never deal with a sleezy car salesman and his "manager" ever again. This has got to be the typical "used car salesman" lot and dealership that give them all a bad name. If their cars are anything like their service and business ethics, you will have the cazr for 3 minutes and it will break down. Rethink doing business with this company, you will regret it forever. Oh and don't forget about the fact that I have been trying to reach them for the past 3 days without a response, apology, or any kind of explanation for this. Not only is the salesman dodging my calls but the "manager" will not answer nor call me back. I will be going to the BBB and my lawyer to resolve my issues.

AMAZING service and fun customer area
The best visit to the dealership since I have owned my car. I was greeted promptly, I spent less than an hour in the awesome waiting room before I was given a rental car and sent on my way. I was going out of town the following day so the service guy, Jeremy (I think), made sure to have my car ready within 24 hours. They replaced several parts of the engine, under warranty and quickly. Entire process was a breeze this time. Thanks a bunch. Would recommend to anyone if all my service visits stay like this!
The survey i took for General Motors, I said how much I appreciated How Kate Angel took special attention to detail, and how she explained everything to me. My car was washed and vacuumed (its always washed, but this time also vacuumed). I am very happy with the service department. Kate made me feel like a valued customer

Tony is amazing! Right from the beginning he was able to assess my requests and work his magic to get me a new Malibu Lease that was in my price range. I got the color I wanted (straight off the truck!), and was in and out within hours with a new car. I give Tony two thumbs up and a gold star to boot. :) Did I mention how amazing that massage chair upstairs is? I'm actually looking forward to when I have to get my oil changed so I can treat myself! The renovations are beautiful. I can't imagine a more well equipped dealership around. Bravo. I always have a wonderful experience when bringing my car in for service. I'm addressed by name, everyone is curtious, and I'm always informed as to what's going on with my vehicle.
I was getting very discouraged , but McCluskey really came through for me . I am very please with my new 2014 cruze.
Fix a Flat
My only quibble was that the service person said at check-in that they would let me know what the issue was when they found out the problem and didn't follow through. Now, it was only a patch for a small puncture in a tire, but I would have liked to have known that once they found that out instead of flagging the guy down as he walked by.
Best place I've been for service.
I went in for an oil change and to get my tire checked for a leak. Though i was hoping for a quick patch, however the tire had a nail in the sidewall which makes it irreparable. So i had to get a new tire. Even though the price was more than i was expecting i knew it had to be done and the service representative was very nice and helpful.
I actually don't mind going to the dealer to have my Tahoe or traverse serviced. everyone frowns when I tell them I let the dealer work on my car. i don't understand. price may be a little higher, but i's done right and I get to wait in comfort. Plus Kevin is a good guy and is easy to work with.

This was my first experience with your dealership service department and I was very pleased with your level of service! It was just an oil change and tire rotation but to my surprise your crew also washed my truck unexpected without charge! This was a great perk as I was planning on washing it later that day and with an already busy day asnd lots of other things to do it was very helpful in getting the rest of my tasks completed. Very good service
A wheel and tire had to be replaced. An estimate was given and I thought I would have to make an appointment to have the work done but I they could do it then so I told to go ahead. The work was done quickly and I am pleased with the results.
I brought my car in to get checked out because it turned off on me while in a drive thru. The guys took it for a test drive, scanned it, and saw nothing wrong. Told me to bring it back if it happened, again. Always exceptional service when i come and i've recommended the dealership numerous times.
Staff know me by name even though I have only been there a few times and it's every few months. I was on a time crunch this last visit and they worked hard to get me in and out quickly.
It was very people friendly, employees were courteous and always greet with a smile. I was with my sister to get her oil change and we were walking around and when Pat greet ed with a smile and without being intrusive started to show us around and for that reason when I was ready to buy my car I went to see him first.

I've been to your location before for oil changes. I like the new 59 minutes or free oil change. (not that I was timing it) Normally, I'm given this long list of things that are needed to be repaired on my truck. Once or twice is fine but, every time I come is a little bit much. All though I like knowing when it's critical that some thing needs my attention. I almost went to another service center but, changed my mind. Thanks for every thing. I loved the wash and cleaning of the my carpet.

If the transmission line would not have blown off after having service work completed on my truck I would have rated everything a 10. I had to have my truck towed in to have repaired again. The reason I rated your department up to a 9 is due to your service people setting me up with a loner vehicle and then helping do everything they could to win my confidence back. I will say everyone was very nice. My truck was repaired and life goes on. Just a Chevy bump in the road. Don't worry I will be back when I need more service or a new truck, approx. 70k more miles. Chevy man for life! (P.S. I could use a sponsor for my fishing boat - How about going in on a Chevy wrap for my Ranger? Great Advertising. Let me know if it's possible).

Great facility, but outstanding employees.
I arrived as agreed. I was immediately welcomed. We discussed the service to be completed. I was driven home. Picked up the following day. My automobile was clean inside and out. The bill seemed reasonable, I Rhona and left.
Had a problem with my front passenger seat. Wires from the heated seats was causing a wear spot across the seat. It was noted in records and seat would be replaced if it wore through. They simply accommodated my wishes and made a plan to resolve.
Overall good place to take car for service
only problem i had was getting my car after paying for services had to wait at least 10-15 minutes to be help and i had to go in to area to request service when i was standing in plain view
It was a slow start at 7pm we didn't get greeted right away and waited but then we had some FUN~! We got to ride bikes, eat candy, drink coffee & soda and even sat in the massage chair. My 11 yr old daughter loved it! Also thanks for the car wash, too!

Interesting Path to completion !
The flexible hours of Service are amazing for someone like me. Though I experienced a very strange route to getting my appointment, the last person I talked to in the process was very helpful. The Online Chat individual was inflexible, rude, and condescending. The After Hours individual was extremely lacking in knowledge about the Hours. My actual experience at the Service center bordered on religious as that place is AMAZING !
Friendly, professional service manager
Kate Angel is just that-an angel! She truly defines a genuine customer service model for others to follow. She's knowledgable of the vehicle, and is approachable. That to me is essential. There are some service managers I've observed that are professional but I've never seen them smile or show emotion of of any kind thru facial expressions. I few weeks back I had to bring the malibu in because a part of the rear bumper fell off. It wasn't kate that I delt with on that visit. She informed me that I'd have to talk to with the guy a rood the bay in body repair. Didn't even offer to call them or go over to find out. Now, I'm not sure how exactly the rear air defuser fell off, in fact there were no broken clips at all but I had to wait over and hour plus pay over $60 for the repair, which was a shocker to me. However, on this most recent visit dealing kate I'm truly satisfied with my experience.
Only issue I had with the service was there was no reset done on the oil life indicator, and with the oil change/tire rotation service other dealerships provided an inspection record on the vehicle as well, we did not get this there.
Everything was done that I requested. I always feel comfortable and welcomed whenever.I come in, which is why I only have work done on my car at McCluskey ( Reazdigng, ) when needed, since I bought my car brand new, in 2008! Thanks!!!!

Initially I went into McCluskey only to get some general information and see what they could offer me. I was looking to offer a trade in and drive out in a new car, although I knew with my financial situation, it would pose some difficulties. Considering I was a woman and in search of a new vehicle on my own, I was skeptical of who would be helping me. Adam Simon though, who came to be my salesman, was extremely pleasant to work with. He was personable and very straight-forward; considering my wants and needs in comparison to the reality of what I could afford. He took the time to answer all my questions and offered a very honest insight to what vehicles I could potentially finance. Given my personal situation in terms of income and credit, Adam was able to find me a brand new 2014 Chevy Cruz that I was able to lease at a very reasonable price and truly, I couldn't be happier with the way things worked out. I'm in a beautiful and reliable car with payments that fit my needs. I would highly reccomend McCluskey, as their staff was more than helpful and left me feeling confident in my decision.
My husband and I just moved to the area and we needed to purchase him a vehicle that had better gas mileage and possibly lease a truck for myself if the numbers worked out. When we arrived Tyon greated us outside and we told him what we were looking to do. He took great care of us! We also had out six month old son with us and I can't begin to tell you how kind he was to him. We were at the dealership for a total of about ten hours and they made us feel very welcome. Everyone talked to our son and made sure we had anything we needed; made sure we didn't hesitate to ask any questions. We ended up purchasing a Chevy Cruze for my husband and a GMC Sierra for myself, both were used and mine had a few scratches that they took care of for me. My truck had an issue with the radio and one of the side mirrors didn't fold in. Tyon told me to call Jeremy and see when he could get me in. Jeremy got me in when it was convenient for me and quickly fixed the mirror and even though the radio didn't act up while it was there he said to call him if it does it again and he'd get me in. This dealership understands that family comes first and made sure that we felt like family. I wouldn't send anyone anywhere but here!
THIS time, as compared to all of the other experiences, was phenomenal! Customer service was off the charts amazing! Tim and Phyllis took amazing care of me and delivered exactly what I wanted, when I wanted it. They went above and beyond, super impressed. Great job!!!
