As soon as we entered the dealership and were introduced to our salesman, I knew we were going to walk out of there with a new car. We chose KIA on reputation and the dealership because of its proximity to our home. We left with a Forte LX, but after a few days realized we needed to upgrade to the "S" model. No hassle! Very happy with the outcome.

I purchased a used vehicle off the lot and was over happy with the vehicle, and the buying process then the games began. After being told two weeks till i get my real tags in I went a month without answer after calling the dealer the day the tag was going to expire no one would tell me whether or not I had tags come in. So i decided to show up to the dealer because I was unwilling to receive a ticket for their short comings. after almost half a hour at the dealer they walk about with my tags and proceed to take 30 minutes to put the tags on the vehicle. After leaving the lot with the vehicle after purchase I arrived home and realized I had left a couple items in my car like my ezpass and door opener so i proceeded to call the sales manager and text him to inform him of my mistake and to put the items to the side for me for when I would be able to make it in. When I arrived back at the dealer they were no where to be found the vehicle was sold and apparently "they would've put it to the side". All in all the after purchased run around that Rob from Matt Blatt has given me I will refuse to let any of my friends or family go through the misfortune of purchasing a vehicle off their lot.

UPDATE - After getting publicly flamed on the internet, we got a call from the customer representative for Matt Blatt dealerships apologizing for what transpired. She assured us that this is NOT the way they typically do business. She offered to sell us the truck at the quoted price, offered us a $100 VISA gift card (whether we bought the truck or not for our troubles) and offered to move the truck to another Matt Black dealership so that we wouldn't have to deal with the original parties. We just arrived home with the vehicle. It's a shame that it took a bad review to make this happen, but in the end, the dealership did the right thing and we have to give them lots of credit for that. Hopefully, this will NOT happen again to any additional customers. For what originally transpired, see below:Just had a poor customer service experience with Matt Black KIA in Egg Harbor, NJ My husband and I visited yesterday and test drove a truck. When we went inside, the sales manager responsible for pricing was happy to tell us that the price had just been reduced by $500 and that we were the first to hear about it. It was the first truck we had seen, so we said that we might be back. After going several other places, we returned today to make the purchase but the dealership would not stand behind the quoted price. At first the sales manager claimed he never said it. But finally the sales manager caved in and said he "might" have said that he "thought" the price had been reduced by $500. Trust me, we both heard what he said. Getting the dealership manager involved, they refused to stand behind the quoted price, even though we drove over an hour to make the purchase. The old bait and switch still lives on at Matt Black KIA. BEWARE!! Our salesperson, Vinnie Mancini was very nice. We encouraged him to seek employment elsewhere.

I have bought two cars from this dealership and it was a pleasure. When last I bought one, I mentioned that my dad had a car to sell with very low mileage. On June 6, 2015, I brought it in and we agreed on a price. The check was to have been mailed on Monday, because the person who would do it was not there on Saturday. I waited until the following Friday and called. Was told it had been mailed on Tuesday. Waited until the following Tuesday. Was told it was mailed the day before. I called and wrote to ask why someone lied, asked for an apology from the person who did it and for the check. Still waiting. When I bought a car, I got an email from the boss asking that I let him know if there was a problem. Emailed about this. It's been over a day and I was told he was there when I called. 11 days. No check. Monday to Weds a check can get from Egg Harbor to Absecon, NJ. I believe the have already sold the car. My comments below are for SELLING a car. Buying was good. If selling, get the check before giving up the keys. My mistake.

I found the Sedona I was looking for online, called this dealer, spoke to the Sales Mgr Robert Semprevivo & salesman Mike Borkowski were both AWESOME! They took us through every step easily, & made our purchasing a new van a pleasant experience. A problem arose with the vehicle we drove down to the dealership & Rob & Mike came and picked us up immediately. They understood everything we were looking for & got us in and out quickly. Also kudos going out to Suzette Dessoye, made signing all those papers painless! We appreciate all that was done for us, as we had a terrible experience with a dealer 20 mins away. Read some of the bad reviews but took a chance anyway to see a 2012 Nissan Murano that was listed. I called and set up an appointment. Got there a little early and saw the car was parked near the entrance with several people checking it out. I expected to be told that it was already sold but it was there waiting for me. My salesperson Michele was very pleasant and professional as were the manager and finance rep. The whole process took less than two hours including my trade in appraisal and financing and purchase paperwork. I drove out of there in my freshly detailed new vehicle. When I got home, I noticed a couple of flaws that weren't present during the test drive. Michele arranged for the repairs which were no charge and perfect. She even got me an extra remote key that I requested. If I had a complaint, it would be that the trade offer was a little low but the price of the new vehicle was also below comparables from other dealers, so it balanced out. I would absolutely buy from them again~

Very disappointed with this dealer. After several email exchanges with Sam, Matt, Dominick to check on the details posted online for the car we were interested in, we dropped two hours to this dealer location in Egg Harbor Twp for a test drive, just to get there and be told they made a mistake in their online listing. We taught we were coming for a 2009 Nissan Murano SL AWD. They offer us a 2009 Murano S for the price we saw online for the SL. Then they offered us a 2010 SL for $10000 more than the price of the 2009 SL we saw online. What is very dishonest on their part is that the 2010 SL on their lot is really what they posted pictures of on their website for the 2009 SL we were coming for. We came prepared to buy cash at the price saw online, but Dominick seemed to want to see us do the financing without disclosing all his rationale behind his push, which makes me very suspicious of their business ethics.

This was the most honest and upfront car sales/shopping experience I have encountered. Aside from the impressivequality of the car, the sales team was on point with information about everything from the vehicle, the history of Kia and general questions (comp shopping, rates, investigating our needs, etc). With respect to the pricing, negotiating was not the strong suit but both Matt and Roy were respectful and not intimidating in their approach and presentation. Again, great experience and I will hope in the future to return to Matt Blatt Kia for my next vehicle purchase.

We recently purchased a new vehicle from Matt Blatt Kia. We were met on the lot by a gentleman names Jim Kelly. He took time to show us and let us test drive as many vehicles as we wanted. During the test drive he talked about how Matt Blatt Kia was different than most dealers and they are non commission sales people. We were skeptical at first, however realized after driving several different models that he wasnt pushing us in one direction or another and just wanted to help us make a decision that was best for our family and budget. By the time we agreed on a vehicle the negotiation process took less that 5 minutes. They best price upfront was far less than the previous location we were at. Congratulations to Matt Blatt Kia for still beliveing in a customer first approach and what a great experiance Mr. Kelly made this purchase for us. About a hour after we got home he had called to make sure we got home safely and wanted to make sure we were 100% satisfied with our purchase. I will be sending my friends in to see Jim and I have no become at Matt Blatt Kia customer for life. Please dont change the way you do things it is really refreshing to see there are still some stores out there that want the customer to buy what they want instead of what they feel they could make the most money on. When we first got there we where met by a sale person name Rob. He was great My wife and I was thinking about buying a kia sportage but he show us the kia sportage and a kia Sorento and said there was a 1500 cash rebate on the Sorento and nothing on the sportage so my wife and i thought it would be better to get the Sorento that was so much nicer than the sportage and not much more money with the rebate. I'm glad Rob show me the Sorento because my wife and I love it and wouldn't be as happy if we bought a sportage. Rob did a great job about telling me about the Sorento we bought. The only thing that could of been done better is they should of offer us some coffee or something. Found a vehicle that met my needs and was in excellent shape. Salesman Neil Snyderman was helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Original dealer offer was insulting with VERY lowball trade-in offer and nothing off sticker price of car. "Good Cop, Bad Cop" salesman/sales manager routine was a bit dated but we did arrive at a deal. Super low trade in offer combined with firm price on car makes a bad combination to close a sale and almost broke the deal. Way too many vehicles out there for hard line pricing. All in all, Neil, Joe and Dino were all gentlemen and I'm glad we could agree to a fair price.

My 10 year old car died and I needed a replacement right away. However, I hate car shopping w/salesmen pouring out of the buidling every time 'fresh meat' arrives. I hate the whole schtick, you know, the "What will it take for you to take this home today?" line along w/the pressure to buy, add additional warranties, add this, add that, you know the drill. (Anybody remember when salesmen used to take your keys and hold them hostage?)We checked out all the used cars on the Black Horse Pike in Egg Harbor Twp. on a Sun. to avoid the 'vultures'. No one had anything w/in our price range w/any reasonable amount of mileage. Until we got to Matt Blatt, that is. We looked at a line of Town and Co. minivans on one side of the pkg. lot and a line of Kia Rondo's. W/only one child, the minivans were a little big, but still a good deal-w/in our price range and around 50,000 miles. The Kia's had lower mileage (35,000 miles and under), were 2009's and one (that I ultimately bought) was still under factory warranty. Best of all, they were all w/in my budget!We came back the nexst day for a test drive. This was our 6th dealership visit so I was prepared to stick to my budget, not fill out any forms until I was ready to buy something (I don't want some salesman calling me at home!) and was prepared to walk out if they tried to sell me something I didn't want.When we pulled in Neil Snyderman walked out and although he was friendly enough I wasn't letting my guard down. As it turned out, I didn't need to do my 'tough girl' act. At all times, Neil was low key, no pressure-what a pleasure! I'm sure that has to do w/the Matt Blatt policy of 'what you see is what you get' re: price. Still, Neil made everything easy. When the tax was figured in the cost was over my budget and I was prepared to move on, even though I liked the car. Despite the age and high mileage on my old car, they offered me a trade in (and at that point it didn't even run and would have to be towed from another county!). The car had a soft tire that needed air before our test drive. Two days after buying it the tire pressure sensor light came on. I brought it right back and w/out any comment, Neil took it to the service dept. where they found a slow leak and repaired it w/out hesitation. To me, that seems like a given that problems will be fixed. However I've experienced too many hassles w/dealerships when problems come up AFTER the sale has been made. It's too early to know at this point, but I don't think this will be the case at Matt Blatt.I come from a family w/a long history of car dealership loyalty. Treat me right and I'll do the same. Believe me, we will be back to Matt Blatt-hopefully not for a long time, but in the mean time both my husband and I are highly recommending this dealership and our salesman to everyone!I still think car shopping is rather nervewracking but everybody at Matt Blatt made this as pleasant an experience as I could expect. I am happy to recommend this dealership.

I rated the survey the way I did because it was a GREAT experience for me. Especially since the car I purchase is my FIRST car. The quality of work is rated 4 becuase i think the detailing could have had a better job done. When I opened my trunk I found trash under the mat where the spare tire is located. It wasnt a big deal but it would have been nice if they looked and cleaned up a bit better. I will most deffinatley be recomending Matt Blatt and Tony Di Laurent to my friends who are looking or in need of a car. i was very impressed with the dedication Tony had to helping get the car that I wanted, but instead of finding me what I wanted he found me something that I Love! I really enjoy coming in for service and when I wanted to trade for a newer model everyone involved was extremely helpful. They did whatever was needed to put me in this new car. I am extremely happy with this car; love the color the options and as always that new car smell. I was very comfortable with the attention given to me while I considered the purchase of my new vehicle. I was pleased with the trade-in and the overall price. I bought a used 06 pontiac grand prix that my husband found on the Matt Blatt website for 9,669. I am still waiting for the keyless entry and this is much needed due to the fact that the lock on the door is very difficult to unlock; i was locked out for a day and now am afraid to lock it. MB will look at it for me when i go to pick up the keyless entry and hopefully fix it so I don't need to worry about putting $ into a car I just bought a week ago to fix the lock.
