I purchased a 2015 Yukon XL SLT last week from Martin Chevorlet. The experience was very positive from the time I walked in from the time I drove off the lot with my new car. Everyone was professional, curteous, and a true professional. I had one item that needed to be fixed as part of the sales agreement. I brought it into the service department today and the experience was awesome!!

Martin Chevy was very responsive to my request on cars .com for a 2015 cruze. Car was great but they did not mention they had installed plastic molding on car and that was extra but they did reduce the price because I didn't want the molding. Their advertised price was also supposed to Chevy certified but when arrived, they said was an extra $800 so did not buy extra warranty. Still a nice car but they should have been upfront with extra fees.

We drive from Elgin - St. Charles area to work with Martin Chevrolet. When we purchased our car, sales said we would be very happy with the service on our new Tahoe. They where right. My wife and I were shown the shop and the new improvements including the start of the car wash. Was recommended to this dealer buy a friend and between the the sales staff and service dept it was like a breath a fresh air to be treated this way from a dealership. I have had a lot of Chevy trucks but have to say this was one of the best experiences purchasing a new truck. My salesman was Rob Newell and he listened to what I was after as far as a deal and didn't drag out the time with non sense. He was a great salesman I give him a 15 and would definitely send anyone looking for a new vehicle to him and this dealership Thanks Dave B

I have recently had a problem with a backfire like noise from my Buick LaCrosse. The local Buick dealer had my car for nine (9) days and had no clue as to how to fix the problem. Being a GM product I thought I would try Martin Chevy. Ralph Stalesky, Assistant Service Manager, was very willing to try to help me. This problem had gone on for several months. Ralph and the service tech determined that I needed a new exhaust system. Ralph worked with GM to warranty the exhaust saving me several hundred dollars. The car was washed and ready to go. No more backfires. It was an excellent experience and I will be sure to let all my friends know about how Ralph and Martin Chevy treated me.

Marci Zavala contacted me just to say it's hard to believe but it's coming up on 2 years that we purchased our Equinox. It was a total coincidence that I had just lost a set of keys and had filed a claim for a replacement key. I responded to her email and told her the situation and she sent it to Jenny, and I was contacted that it had been ordered and I would be called when it came in. We received the call and set up a time to pick it up. We were in to replace a lost key for our Equinox. While we were picking up the key, they topped off our fluids and washed our vehicle. Staff is very friendly. We will definitely recommend and have recommended your dealership to anyone who will listen. We have already have sent people over for service work on their Chevy vehicles.

I was very on guard walking in to Martin Chevrolet I had a horrible experience several years ago at another car dealer and feel I was "pressured" into the sale and regretted the purchase. D'Anthonie was the salesman we spoke with and he was so patient and listened to what we were trying to accomplish which was just to gather information. Well we ended up driving home a brand new car that night not because we were ever pressured but because the dealership did everything they could to help us find exactly what we were looking for, D'Anthonie was amazing and after a short while I not only trusted him but knew I would go to Martin first for any future car buying. Sam in finance also amazing. Just a few days later we were back to see if D'Anthonie and Sam could help with our 2008 Chevy Uplander that we owe so much more than it is worth, the both worked very hard and offered us an amazing deal when we declined due to not wanting to increase our monthly payment they did not pressure us just let us know to come back and see them when we are ready which we absolutely will! I came in for an annual oil change for my 2006 corvette. The check in process was very quick and I feel very confident when Paul (certified corvette tech) takes care of my car. I always walk back and talk with him briefly, and he is very professional. Also, the new customer waiting area is very nice and the coffee machine is great too.

On August 22, Saturday, the Service Engine Light started flashing on and off as I was driving. Went to Martin at 11:30 am. Ralph took the vehicle right in and had a diagnosis within an hour. It was a malfunctioning ignition coil module. Vehicle was finished before 2:00 pm. I was lucky that Martin has service on Saturday and how quickly the vehicle was repaired since I would have to have waited until Monday to get it repaired and would have to have taken a day off work. I have been using this dealership location and service department since 1996 and have always had excellent experiences and even better since Martin's ownership. Ralph and his crew have been there before Martin's ownership and I have always been treated courteously and friendly.

I went in to look at a vehicle and was greeted by Mitch. I had done all of the on line information, credit application, trade in etc. Sue was great in the internet department and all of my information was available for Mitch. He took me for a test drive and explained all of the vehicle's options and user functions. Unfortunately my first choice was more than my budget would allow. James in finance and Mitch worked to find something more in my budget range. I must say that they were personable, understanding and willing to help me! I have always dreaded go to buy a vehicle and have always felt pressure and intimidation. This experience was fair, reasonable and helpful. My corvette has had modifications done to it at your dealer and Paul and Scott handled to modification. On the way back from an event the car developed a misfire. We got it home and I had been in touch with Scott about the problem and he ageed to pick the car up and drive it into Martin as I was previously committed to take my son for his chemo treatment. Scott picked up the car and Paul again did the work on it. It is fixed to my satisfaction. If I ever have a problem with my corvette again rest assured it will in Paul's and Scott's capable hands. I have recommended your delearship to many other corvette owners and they are taking their cars to your delearship too. By the way, I did not purchase my corvette at your delearship but have purchased another car there just recently. Bought a great used car at a good price. Had a minor problem with the heat. They said" No problem, bring it in and we will take care of you. They stood behind their sale 100%. Provided me with a loaner and everything. The problem was harder to fix than I thought, but they called and said to just keep using the loaner till they got it fixed. After the repair when I picked up the car it was great to see $0.00 for the repair total. They could easily have turned their back on me after the sale, specially on a used car, but they showed integrity and stepped up. I would recommend them to anyone.

Excellent Service! I brought my 99000 mile Chevy Cobalt in on Saturday morning (No Appointment) when I saw a red liquid spot under my car. I'm thinking the worst, like magor trans problem. They took me in right away, it was just a leaky hose that they promply replaced. I also got the transmission fluid serviced, brake fluid flushed, injectors cleaned, tune-up, a recall done that I've been ignoring, and I was back on the road before noon Monday. "With confidence". That is awesome service!

I had another good experience when I had work done on my car again last week. This time however, I wanted to mentioned some of your employees that took their time and effort into making my experience a good one. Starting with Ralph Stalesky the service advisor, who listened to my needs and provided feedback on what had to be done with my car. Parts department employee, John Kouba who ordered the parts for my car and had them delivered a day before they were originally scheduled to come in, and last but not least, Craig Ingold the service technician, who worked on my car. Stopped by Martin during trunk month to see what they had. I was expecting to be greeted by an aggressive sales person but started a nice conversation with one of the sales consultants, D' Anthonie Daily. D' Anthonie was truly a consultant, showed me the inventory and explained options and didn't pressure me. I didn't buy on my first visit but felt good enough about the experience to return and work with D to find a truck that fit my needs. Bought a 2014 Silverado and have been driving it for a few month with no regrets. If you are thinking about visiting Martin, I would recommend asking for D' Anthonie.


Avoiding icy back window

By doing a good deed for a friend helping them move, the cable that goes to the right rear defroster was pulled completely off the window. But Martin Chevy came to my rescue. They were able to replace the clip and attach it to the window. Thanks to Gene K, I have a rear defroster that also will defrost my side view mirrors. My moving days are over unless I am able to supervise the placement of articles thru the back hatch. All were very courteous and helpful. I'd recommend Martin to all who need work on their auto.

I take my Chevrolet cars to Martin for service. The prices are fair, the service people are friendly and all the work is done well and completed when promised. In addition I recently purchased another vehicle from Martin and it was a wonderful experience. I was able to test drive two different cars and while I did not take advantage of the offer, they asked me if I wanted to take one home over night. Once I chose my car the process was super and I was well taken care of. Two minor issues with the car were discovered within the first 24 hours and they immediately made things right with no hassle and no complaints. When I was younger new cars always were delivered with a full tank of gas...have not seen that for many years...until this purchase with Martin. What a surprise! To top it off I get free oil changes and car washes. This is a great dealership. They are ethical and work with you to meet your budget for the car you want.

I visited Martin Chevrolet on Saturday with a friend of mine. We're both with Mary Kay Cosmetics, and we wanted to test drive the cars that we can earn from Mary Kay! Susan took the call when I contacted them to schedule our visit. She was friendly, and made it a point to tell us that they BBQ on Saturdays, so we're invited to stay for the BBQ! Rob rode with us when we test drove the Equinox, and was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicle. (It is a fabulous vehicle, so Cheryl & I are super excited to earn ours!) Dan, the manage was warm and friendly. At the BBQ, the other customers spoke very highly of the dealership and the service that they receive. The facilities are under construction, but still clean & well-maintained. A very positive experience! I highly recommend Martin Chevrolet!

Everything went absolutely perfect! Making an appointment was super smooth, key drop worked exactly as it should, Ralph called promptly to tell me what we were looking at in terms of repairs and called again when things were finished! Customer Service at this dealership was top notch. Went in to test drive a used car I saw on Cars.com and saw a few other cars on the lot I liked... not only did they let me test drive everything I looked at, they gave me options when it came to financing and keeping my payments reasonable. The place was under heavy construction, so it wasn't much to look at, but I am sure thats a temporary thing.

Over a week ago I contacted Martin Chev about a used car but, my trade-in ('70 Impala Custom w/26k original miles) was not a fit for their inventory. IOn spite of the set back, Ms. Sue Lavertu maintained a positive attitude and worked hard in trying to get a deal done. Unfortunately the car sold to someone else but, Ms. Lavertu's spirit was high and uplifting to the end.

Salesmen Herb Perez and Sales Manager Steve Miehle helped me purchase a vehicle that I will enjoy for many road trips. I did some online research (for several weeks) before going to Martin Chevrolet. Herb and Steve listened to my wish list and what I was looking to spend and pointed me in the right direction. I purchased a Malibu 2LT with all the options I wanted and within my budget. I went to Martin Chevrolet with a preapproved loan from my credit union at a very low rate, Finance Manager Sam Anderson worked with his bank contacts to get me the same low rate as my credit union. With Sam getting me the same rate I did not have to take off from work. I purchased the vehicle on a late Friday afternoon, if I had used my credit union I would have had to take time off from work on the following Monday to complete the loan process. I had the pleasure of using the service department when I brought my vehicle back in for the VS-2000 paint and leather treatment. I dropped the car off on a Monday evening for the treatment to be applied on Tuesday. Assistant Service Manger Ralph Stalesky and his team had my vehicle ready when I got out of work on Tuesday. The vehicle was spotless when I picked it up. The cashiers quickly took my information for the free loaner and quickly processed the paper work when I returned to pick up my vehicle. I highly recommend any one purchasing a vehicle go to Martin Chevrolet. My experience is Martin Chevrolet is driven to total customer satisfaction.

I went shopping around many dealerships for a SUV and had a open mind to more than just one brand. When I arrived at Martin Chevrolet I was looking at a Traverse I was introduced to Mike Lakhani I had many questions about options on the Traverse , Mike listened and answered every question I had plus he offered me to get something transferred in from another dealership. Which I felt that Martin was not shoving a model on the lot that did not have the options I was looking for. For the deal I explained that I took the day off because I work full time and coach three Little League Teams here in Crystal Lake and time was a premium. I told Mike that I needed numbers and I could not make a deal until I spoke to my wife. Mike gave me the numbers and I never felt pressured that I had to make a deal before I left the dealership. Which happened at two different dealers in town. We returned that night to purchase a Traverse while waiting for the Traverse and paper work I explained that my wife has to go and pick up one of our son's from baseball practice. I asked if it was OK for my wife to pick up some dinner for my children and if we could eat it in the showroom Steve your new car sales manager did one step better he offered to order pizza and had it delivered WOW that made our night much less stressful. My wife and I purchased a Silverado from this dealership and it was a great experience. From when we walked in the door with good afternoon how are you to the time we left it was overall good. Our sales representative was Marci Zavala and she took great care of us. Marci took us out on numerous test drives to ensure that the truck we drove was the one that we wanted. When we finally found which truck we wanted, it was time for the desk work. Marci was very customer conscientious during this experience, she asked if we need anything to drink, could she get us anything. The sales manager Steve Miehle was also very nice and attentive to all of his sales staff and especially his guests. I bought a 2004 Nissan Xterra few months ago and of course it was winter. So I totally overlooked weather the AC was working or not. Ultimately, it wasn't. Also apart from the total price and taxes, he charged me $700 extra. When questioned, he said, it was gap insurance which i already have. But on the bill, it says service and maintenance. In a month, its almost an year since I bought it but no anser yet. Every time i call him, he says call me back. V

My husband and I traveled to Martin Chevy from ~2 hours away after finding a Traverse we were interested in online (WARNING: DO NOT ever do this). Although, the buying process was quality, our post customer service has been non-existent. The Traverse wouldn't start after a week of driving it. We took it to our local dealership and the starter was replaced. A few weeks later, our speakers would not project any sound. Our local dealership discovered that there was corosion under the hood because the windshield was replaced with a non GMC certified windshield (prior to our purchase of the vehicle). Our local dealership recommended that we called Martin Chevy immediately to have it replaced because the non-GMC windshield voids our extended warranty. Martin Chevy explained to us that it was not their problem and they were only willing to pay half of the replacement cost of the window. Keep in mind that the vehicle we purchased was certified by Martin, however, they explained that this must have been an oversight. I requested to speak with Dan Hoyland, the General Manager of Martin Chevrolet to refute it. He will NOT call us back. We have left over 7 messages, have spoken to Joel, our sales guy, and we cannot get a return phone call. I know for a fact, that if we were local to Crystal lake, we would have received much better customer service, and a full replacement of the front windshield. I would NEVER purchase a vehicle from here again. I am so disappointed with how we are being treated and would recommend that you purchase your vehicle elsewhere.

I had my previous car serviced at Martin. I just bought my new Equinox there, too. Any time I went in for service, Ralph explained what was to be done in a friendly manner. Mike sold me my new car. I felt like he was there for me as long as I needed. The shopping experience was excellent. I feel like I was treated very well. My car even gets great service-free oil changes and car washes. I recommend this service and dealership to anyone.

Give or take two months ago, I went in to purchase a car. I will admit that they did go the extra mile to make a sales at that point. However, it just did not work out in dollars and cents. I do not remember the sales associate's name. Bear in mind, that I WAS approved two months ago with a trade-in to consider as well.Yesterday, I received a call from them in the afternoon. I did not answer, but no message was left. I verified the number. Last night, I saw a car that I really liked and filled out a credit app. I received a call almost immediately and told them in no uncertain terms that this is the car that I wanted. A short time later, I received a call from Joel saying "My manager will make you a deal that you cannot refuse." I got there and test drove the car. He told me that they NEEDED to sell one more used car by the end of the month I reiterated my earlier situation and trade in consideration. A few minutes later after trying to get my payoff - which had not changed much in two months, he comes back and shakes my hand and says thanks for coming in but because you owe so much on the other car, we cannot get you approved for another car. Again, keep in mind, same situation two months ago, and I WAS approved! Three final words: WHAT A JOKE!

I bought my car at this dealership, and it changed ownership. You never know what kind of service to expect when a new person takes over. I had issues with my car and the inside light came on I was near the dealership and thought I would stop in. I was greeted by one of the mechanics who immediately told me they would look at it right away. Mark in the service department came to talk to me about the problem and said it was under the warranty. He said they could do most of the work but would have to order a part for the remaining work. He said the whole thing would take 4 hours. He told me he had a car waiting for me and that he would call me when they finished the job. I not only did not have an appointment but the extra service was greatly appreciated. As I brought the loaner car back my car was washed and pulled up front waiting for me. You do not experience that anymore, Mark and your staff went above and beyond for me. It is the customer service that makes a huge difference. Thank you so much....
