Get it in writing.

Out of state buyer. Inspected car, vehicle and price was what I expected. Had vehicle shipped to my home. Two weeks later the shipper called saying that dealer said I was to pay for shipping. I told them the shipping fee was included in the purchase price and I had the document to prove it. They accepted my answer and said they would pursue payment from the dealer. Also, due to their delay and incomplete paperwork mailing to my state dmv it was a total of 61 days before my plates arrived. My temporary had expired and I was unable to drive the vehicle in the interim.. They are either incompetent, uncaring after sale, or worse.

I had a really great experience today at Marin Imports in San Rafael. We worked with Omid Khalili and he couldn't have been more honest, approachable and informative. There was no pressure whatsoever but only a relaxed atmosphere and plenty of time to make an informed decision. We were also able to drive the cars independently rather than have a salesperson ride along in the back seat. He trusted us and we trusted him. We bought a beautiful car at a reasonable price. I highly recommend Marin Imports!
