I started my experience with Michael Sperber he was helpful and may I add very persistent!. He wasn't pushy but surely did want to get me into the car of my dreams. When I finally decided to pull the trigger so to speak he found my car and the rest was easy breezy! The F & I rep was knowledgeable and walked us step by step and did not pressure me one inch. My ex husband also purchased a car thru Manhattan Beach Toyota ...a Highlander and he had nothing but good things to say about his experience as well. I would happily refer friends ! The only negative is I must have chosen the coldest day in California to make this purchase.. The doors of the dealership kept flying open.

Service is not customer friendly. Had five items that needed to be done to my 4Runner with only two being accomplished. Service manager never gave me any paperwork because he knew he had not had his staff complete all five items. I will never go back to Manhattan Beach Toyota for service again. DCH Toyota took care of the remaining three items and provided great service.

I had A good experience with Manhattan Beach Toyota. They explain that they could get me the truck that I wanted the way I wanted it and all I had to do was leave a small deposit. I left a deposit and my truck was delivered to the dealer and when I got there to pick it up it look better than I thought it would it was very clean and ready for to take home for me to enjoy.

I work at a dealership, but could not get financed. So I went to Manhattan Beach referred by a friend Cesar UCM. The GSM Carlos and Frank the finance director were able to help me out with a 2015 Corolla. Sang was also great in Finance department he explained to me everything I was signing. I will definitely refer the dealership. They make you feel so welcomed and it felt like home. AWESOME staff you have!

I purchased a Toyota Certified Used 2011 Toyota Tacoma in June of 2015. The truck itself is everything I was looking for, but that is the only positive of the purchase. As I was taking possession of the vehicle, the salesman handed me an extra key which he explained they had to make since it was required by law that they provide a spare key. I later found out that the spare key was not for the ignition, it was a door key. I contacted the salesman and he told me that they would reimburse me for a new key if I had one made. So I went to my local Toyota dealer and had the key made. While at the dealer I found out that I had power door locks, but I was not given a remote control by MBT. The truck specifications listed power door locks for the Pre-Runner model so a remote control should have been provided. So I purchased one from the local dealer. I sent the invoice to MBT on June 4th and as of August 17th I still have not been reimbursed for the key or remote. I also found out that the truck was in an accident as there are after market body parts on the front of the truck. This was never disclosed to me. I believe this should have been discovered during their so called Certified Used Car inspection.

The Manhattan beach dealer we purchased our Camry called us to repairs a recall, so we made an appointment.We left our car for about 3 hours there and they called us to let us know that they need parts. Wished they called us sooner if they did not have proper parts for that particularly recall problem,Anyway for that reason we are not happy that after all the time we waited and again we have to go back one more time.They should have known that they did not have parts before they called us and made us come. It was a well oiled machine. We were in and out - from test drive to delivery of car. Even with the very cluttered and confined space (because of major facility construction) we were comfortable. Sales staff was well trained and played their role well. Insurance process, although like being stuck with a robot, pounding us with the upsale, w as interested in his job.

A few lights out. They kept my car a couple of hours, took me home in the shuttle (my driver was very friendly and got me home quickly), Joanna (love my service person) called me when finished, done! Smooth transaction. All lights are working!Can't wait for their new facility to be completed. Only thing missing, is having my car washed when service completed.

I am 74 years old and have purchased many cars. This was the best car purchase experience I have ever had. I never write reviews, but would feel too guilty if I did not write about how much effort the employees at this dealership go to in providing the very best in customer service. Gabe was my incredible salesman who was never pushy and knew everything about the Toyota Prius. I was pretty green about the newer cars, but he explained to me how everything worked and was so warm and friendly and could answer all my questions. I had a minor problem with the car a few weeks after purchase and took car back to be fixed. Everyone, I mean everyone I came in contact with was so helpful and friendly. First came a warm welcome from Frank who took my car and guided me to Lisette at the counter who listened to my problem with a smile. Next, I met Joy who told me it would be a couple of hours of waiting, so would I like to be shuttled somewhere. I told her I wanted to go shopping. The shuttle had just left, but she did not want me to wait until it came back, so she had Louis, another friendly employee, drive me and pick me up when my car was ready. Joy added great enjoyment to my day by doing this. When I returned, there was no wait for me to see Lisette again. She told me exactly what had been done in terms I could understand, showed me how they had checked my car out and everything was good and there would be NO CHARGE to me. I live 25 miles from this dealership and normally just use my personal mechanic, but after this excellent service, I will be returning for oil changes and repairs...if this Prius ever breaks down, which I hear happens rarely. I think the main thing that made my experience here so good is that all the employees seemed to truly be happy doing their jobs and wanting to fix my problem and keep me happy while they are doing it! Absolutely FIRST CLASS ALL THE WAY! Put yourself in good hands by first asking for salesman, "Gabe"... just the best!

After searching the internet for days, we finally found a used vehicle that met our needs and budget requirements. Although the dealership was 3 hours away, we needed a vehicle right away so decided to drive down and take a look. Expecting the usual pressure when I called John to schedule an appointment, I couldn't have been more wrong. He was flexible and really put me at ease. When we arrived, Don was already informed about the purpose of our visit and ready to show us the vehicle. We also looked at another one for comparison (at my request). Don was patient throughout the evening and more than happy to respond to any question or concern we had. The hardest part was making a decision between the 2 vehicles. Then we were introduced to Hector to write up our contract. Another exceptionally professional experience. Hector worked with us to make certain our payment remained within our budget and that our options were satisfactory. But the story doesn't end here. The next day we discovered a couple of non-mechanical items needing repair. I called Hector and learned that these would not be included in the typical Platinum bumper to bumper warranty that we purchased. However, MB Toyota did not hesitate to arrange for the repairs anyway. When we brought the vehicle back a week later for the repairs, again I cannot express how well we were treated. Marcos and Kyle really bent over backwards to satisfy us. They repaired the first step and are waiting for parts to complete the rest of the repair. I have to say that we already feel like a part of the family at Manhattan Beach Toyota. The employees at every level always treated us that way and it's greatly appreciated. We took a huge step of faith in driving all the way here and I'm very grateful for it. I'm sure you will be too.

When I met with him, he did everything possible to find the exact car I was seeking. Everything about the process was transparent. He offered to have the car delivered to me, since it would be coming from another dealership. He was personable, accommodating and attentive throughout the entire process. The Good: 1) I love driving a Prius. It's an awesome car. 2) The price was fair. It wasn't cheap, but it was fair. 3) Gabe is a good car salesman. The Bad: 1) My so-called "certified pre-owned" car that supposedly passed an exhaustive inspection, but less than a month after taking it home, the car's battery randomly died. I had it towed to the dealership and it literally took 4 days to have it replaced. That wasn't the kind of service I was told I would receive when buying the car. 2) When buying the car, they really wowed me when they told me they would handle the paperwork with the DMV and have my registration sent to me in the mail. Three months later, I received nothing and was told to keep waiting. When my girlfriend got a new car, her dealership did the same thing, but her registration arrived in 1-2 weeks. Five months later, I was still getting the run around from the dealership regarding my registration. Gabe connected me to their customer service woman, but she just blamed me, never did what I asked, promised she would send me a new form so we could try again, but she never did. After six months, I gave up on the dealership, went to work late one morning and went to the DMV myself. It isn't so much that I had to go to the DMV myself. It was that I was constantly promised things that didn't happen. While Gabe tried his best to help me, he couldn't do it all on his own and the rest of his team fell woefully short. I will not return to this dealer for my next car or for service on this car.

BEST car dealership. i feel so grateful to have been taken care of by gavin pierce and gabe romero - they got me an amazing deal on the 2012 prius c (which is not an easy vehicle to come by this summer). incredible customer service, definitely went the extra mile for me and answered all my questions graciously and honestly. i will absolutely go back for my next car and highly recommend getting your toyota or scion from them.

One of the perks for buying a new car here is that you get free car washes, the guys that wash the outside of your car do an excellent job, they do it quickly and while it's not a full service wash and wax it gets the dirt and grime off the outside of your car and makes it look clean and new again. We've had our new car for about a little over a month and have had 4 or 5 car washes, during this time I've seen one other person tip the car wash guys. Show a little appreciation people they work hard and a couple of bucks for a tip for these hard working guys shows your appreciation and is less than you would spend at the do it yourself car washes.

I did not feel like just another quota sell. I felt they really understood a car is a huge purchasing decision for the customer and should be handled with care. And, believe me, I price compared like crazy, and somehow I got both their exceptional service and the most competitive and fair pricing. I highly recommend this dealership and Gabe and Brad. For more specifics about my experience, read below: I cannot say enough good things about my time with Gabe Romero and manager Brad in Internet Sales. I have been to many Toyota and other dealerships, and this was the one place I got the best service and straight-forward, honest answers. I've never met a dealership so easy to work with, helpful and trustworthy. Upon my first phone call, Gabe listened carefully to what I was looking for (I'm picky) and took extra time to locate the best options for me (it took a few weeks, and he didn't forget about me). He and Brad also let me borrow the car overnight(!) to feel what it would be like to truly own the car I was interested in. (I didn't have to ask - they just offered.) They really trust you and they go above and beyond in an honest, down-to-earth way so that I really trusted them as well (which is unheard of in the world of car dealers). They did far more than any other dealer to help and anticipate my needs -- without me even having to ask! Unlike my experiences everywhere else in which talking about the cost felt too slick and crafty, these guys were very up front, honest, and willing to offer discounts before I had to ask. Negotiation is usually an extreme hassle. There wasn't a need to negotiate here. At the beginning of the price discussion, Brad and Gabe laid out the factors influencing cost and areas where there could be discounts. But, most importantly, they listen, and they hear you, and they read between the lines and consider all the options you need to know about. Again, I really felt taken care of by them and highly recommend working with this dealership and Gabe and Brad.
