Retraction of my previous review.

My experience today was a pleasant one. I had a few questions about my purchase on my honda accord and the Sales Manager Jay and the Finance Manager Ms. Walters walked me through all my concerns with patience and understanding. They were so helpful and showed much interest in making me feel at ease and explained everything in detail. I was a happy customer when I left that I would return in the future to purchase another vehicle from Madison Honda!

Quick, Easy and Painless

Rich was very knowledgeable and honest. No run around, no hidden fees everything is what they say it is. Great experience, would visit Madison Honda again!

Stay Away

I would like to retract my first review of this Dealership which I recommended to buy a vehicle. As a first time customer I noticed that I was not treated fairly as I thought. It did take a little time to look over my paper work and discovered that I lost way to much money. Please do your home work first before coming to this dealership. I am sorry to say that I would never go back to buy another vehicle.

Superb buying experiance!

I can honestly say that my experience financing a vehicle at Madison Honda, was pleasant and a breeze. Our sales agent Paul F. was knowledgeable, polite, funny, and a impressive negotiator. Greeted us at the door, showed us all the fun features of a car and offered us a test drive. We came to a deal in under 30 minutes. Paul, wanted and valued our business which is what you'd hope to expect when walking into a dealership and come to a quick and speedy price negotiation. Financing office is persistent enough to be adequately doing their job, without being overly pushy and was also a quick process. During that time, the car was being detailed to a show-room finish. Once detailed, Paul setup the navigation for our next destination (home), programmed our phone, and proceeded to show us some more tricks to personalize the car as everything was being finalized in the office. Afterwards, he took a few snapshots of us with the vehicle and handed us a goody bag from Madison Honda and told us to give him a call with anything we may need. All-in-all, we had a great buying experience and fun time purchasing our car from this dealership. The whole process was a little under 3 hours. This was my first time purchasing a Honda at the Madison NJ Honda dealership. I have been a Honda car owner for many years. I purchased a 2016 Honda Pilot Touring this year and had Tim Gorzelnik as my salesperson. Tim was excellent throughout the process. I felt very comfortable dealing with him and negotiating a price. He has a very calm demeanor and was very professional at all times. There were some bumps in the road with the production of the vehicle (beyond the control of the dealership) but Tim, along with the production manager, made sure to communicate all the facts and went above and beyond to make sure I had a great overall experience. I just got my new Honda CRV. The sale person Mr Garrett was very friendly, explain to me everything in details. Negotiation was smooth, there was no hidden fees, no surprises. All done very professionally in a timely fashion. I think I got good deal on my car. We have been leasing and purchasing vehicles at Madison Honda for over fifteen years, and have always had an excellent experience. Last week, we purchased a Honda Pilot. Went to Madison Honda to replace my 2013 Honda Accord which was involved in an accident. That was our fourth Honda purchased at this dealership. Bought a pre-owned 2014 Honda Accord and, actually picked it up next day. Mo Razavi was our sales rep and couldn't be more helpful and pleasant. My husband was so impressed that he bought a 2013 pre-owed Honda Civic the following day. Mo let us make our own decisions and freely answered all our questions. Went to Madison Honda due to a need to replace my '06 Outback. We planned only to look, but drove off in a pre-owned 2013 Accord LX. Our salesman (Paul Fuchs) was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and was able to show many of the cars features on the test drive. it is just buying a car

The sales process was conducted pretty fast, by Paul Fuchs, no waste of time. They had a good selection of cars, and the facilities are nice.Financing was NOT Ok, there is room for improvement. In my case, as that was the 1st car I ever financed in the US, they offered me a 3x higher rate than the offers I got from other banks (two five-minute calls)So far, the car is OK (it is a pre-owned) and I hope it lasts for another 10 years...

I have leased many cars in my lifetime but my experience at Madison Honda with Alexandra Zuber and Rudy Baez was far better than I had hoped for. My wife and I went just to get some ideas and ended up signing a lease with Alexandra. She was and is very professional, listened to what we wanted. This is the third car my family has gotten at Madison Honda. Always the same experience, no pressure. They let you look around, ask if you have any questions then let you test drive whatever you think you might like. As far as car buying goes, this is as good as it gets. I have been to other Honda dealers and, even being a salesman myself, I couldn't wait to get out of there. I would also recommend my salesman, Mark Stocke. Nothing against any of the other sales people, but he has been my guy for my last two Hondas. As I told Mark when I Ieft with my 2016 Civic EX-L, I'll see him again when the new lease runs up.

Paul Fuchs - great sales person.

This was my first time purchasing a Honda. Paul Fuchs was excellent in his presentation of the different models of the CRV. His patience in showing me all the new technology was amazing. He knows his cars and could explain the different models very well. He understood my financial needs and was able to help me with financing part of the total cost. I strongly recommend Paul to anyone who is interested in looking at the Hondas. I love my new CRV....It had been 10 years since I had bought a car, so I was unaware of the significant costs for different packages dealing with extended warranties. I would like to suggest that the business office when explaining these spend a little more time explaining how much the packages will costs and the impact on your monthly payment.

Reliable Service Department

I brought my car in due to an accelerator and electrical problems. Dan and Andrew were very thorough with making sure the car is fully inspected. I was kept updated every day. Quick, Simple, Easy

Awesome experience. Madison Honda's service was fantastic. Phil the manager was very kind and not pushy at all leaving the decision completely up to us. No pressure from phil or Mike whatsoever. The sales people were extremely knowledgable and helped us out in every way. Had a great experience at Madison Honda and in particular with Paul Fuchs. I waited months for the new civic coupe to be launched and ordered. Paul was always prompt with communication during the wait, and kept me posted on scheduled build and ship dates. Great experience

We leased Honda CRV last week. We came one day late in the evening not realizing their business hours. Paul Fuchs was amazing. Even though he stayed past his usual time, the car was not ready and we were supposed to pick it up in two days. Both my husband and I have very busy schedules, but Paul made it easy for us. He offered to come the next day, on his day off, and even picked me up from my house and drove me to the dealership. What a service!! Thank you Paul.

We leased our first Honda Accord from Madison 3 years ago. We just drove our new Honda Accord home on our second lease. We were treated very professionally and our latest experience was very good. We were able to negotiate a deal we could live with.

Why buy CPO?

I've bought many used Hondas in my lifetime with no problem. Bought my first CPO Honda from Madison and I loved working with Brian and had a good purchasing experience. However, I already have a problem with the vehicle within the first 5 weeks of ownership and need to return to have something fixed. Disappointing. What's the point of paying the price premium of CPO?

Nice and smooth

Customer Service is Everything

I received a phone call from Madison Honda when I was researching the new 2016 civic on Truecar.com. I was in love with the car but had poor and unacceptable experiences with the salesmen in both Autosport Honda in Bridgewater and in Freehold Nj. The customer service I received was awful. But I took a chance when I went to Madison. The first person that greeted me was a salesman by the name of Mark Hathaway. He sat down with me and listened to what I wanted to accomplish, my financial goals, and the make and model and features of the exact car I wanted. One of the first things he told me was that his goal was to match the TrueCar price that I had researched. He was happy to hear I researched what I wanted and made me feel at ease through out the whole process. He took a look at my trade in and we went for a test drive. Along the way, he showed me all the functions and features of the civic and went out of his way to drive us past the exact car I was interested in. He allowed me to test drive that one as well. I didn't feel pressured or uncomfortable at all to make a purchase that same day. In fact, Mark offered the choice of putting down a deposit to hold the car so I could have some time to think about it. A week later, I was back to pick up my new ride. We noticed there was a small ding above the left fender and Mark put in a request for an appointment to get it fixed my next available visit for me. I was really impressed he jumped to helping me fix the problem.My finances were dealt by Al Rico who was so cooperative and patient, as this was my first car buying experience by myself. He was understanding of my questions as I was getting all of my car insurance phone calls in order and step by step explained everything I needed to know about all the different warranties and monthly payments. He was so incredibly helpful, I was really appreciative.I'm very happy with my service and purchase from this location. 17 year old odyssey owner

I loved my Honda Odyssey but, after 17 years of a wonderful relationship together it was time to unfortunately part ways. My children thought it was time I moved on from a "mommy mobile" as they are grown now however' after checking the pilot and various other vehicles, I could not even think about living without an odyssey. Obviously there are many new features to the Odyssey that my 1999 did not have and I was fortunate enough to have an incredible sales person spend the time to explain all the new technology to this not very technology oriented person so I felt comfortable with the new changes. I had an excellent experience buying my certified pre-owned civic at Madison Honda. My dealer, Kamal, was very helpful and knowledgeable through out the sale. He was not overly pushy or rude at anytime which I greatly appreciated. I had a TERRIBLE experience at Joyce Honda where the salesman and his manager where very aggressive, rude and at times I felt very disrespected. They talks towards my Boyfriend instead of addressing me, even though I told them I was the one buying the car. Due to this I left with no desire to go back to Joyce Honda. New 2016 Accord Purchase

I just bought a new Accord from Madison Honda. I had shopped around at other dealerships and stopped in because it was local. My salesman Paul Fuchs was informative, friendly, professional and most importantly NOT pushy. I had a price from another dealership and Paul was able to beat it. I only had to wait a few days until the car was available (4 to be exact). I can't speak for anyone else, but my experience with Paul and the other sales staff at Madison Honda was pleasant and I feel like I got a good deal. My advice is to look around, visit some dealerships and checkout Paul Fuchs and the other people at Madison Honda before you decide to buy. I'm glad that I did.

Quick Service & Friendly Staff

Had a very nice experience buying my car. My salesman, Paul Fuchs, was a very nice guy who was funny, not pushy, and quick. All said and done (test drive, inspecting car, completing paperwork, etc.) I think the process took about two to three hours. I got a very reasonable price and the car is driving fine so far. If you're interested in one of their cars, I definitely recommend paying a visit. It's a nice, small dealership with friendly staff--unlike some of the dealerships on route 22.

Came to inquire, left with a car

I was in the market for a new car and had done extensive research, narrowing it down to a couple of specific makes and models. A friend of mine recommended I see her good friend and colleague Mo Razavi at Madison Honda. I had previously visited other dealerships, including Honda, with questions about pricing and possible equipment load-outs and left each one without a purchase as we could never seem to make the car and numbers I wanted work. Because of this, I was skeptical walking into Madison Honda, but was pleasantly surprised to have that skepticism proven unwarranted. Mo was friendly and personable right out of the gate. He listened to what I was looking for and the budget I was trying to stay in. He never tried to push anything I didn't need, or sell me something I didn't want. He showed me the different pricing options made suggestions on the best possible options for my specific needs. After a little back and forth on different pricing options, Mo sat me down with General Sales Manager, Phillip Ferreira to discuss pricing instead of the normal "playing messenger for the mysterious powers that be" I've seen at most dealerships. The three of us were able to work out a great deal on a great car. The entire interaction felt more like a down-to-earth guy trying help me get a deal on a car instead of salesman trying to get me to buy a car. I walked into that dealership with the intention of inquiring about pricing and potentially returning at a later date to purchase. However, between Mo's outstanding customer service, relatable personality, and forward thinking, I walked out of that dealership with a 2016 Honda Accord EX-L V6 fit to my specifications. In the end, I ended up leaving with a better car than I originally thought was in my price range, at a better price than I originally expected to pay.

Purchase of a 2016 Pilot

This is my local dealer. I contacted them for a 2016 Pilot and it was a good experience. The new Pilots are hard to get but Paul Fuchs was able to get one for me at a fair price and a good turnaround time. It was a very good experience - polite but not a lot of pressure. He took the time to explain all the bells and whistles upon delivery.

I walked into Madison Honda fully prepared for an Overwhelming stressful experience due to the fact that I am a recent college graduate and never owned my own car. Instead, I got the opposite. Mo was an excellent salesman who understood my position and made my goals for budgeting and car selection his top priority. He was clear about pricing and car details and most importantly, he was honest. I walked out of Madison Honda that same day with a brand new 2015 Honda Civic at a price I could afford all thanks to Mo. Excellent first experience.

This was my first time purchasing a car through a dealer, certified pre owned, and it went great. Everyone was very helpful, any questions I had they answered straight to the point, and they were all easy going. Not once did I feel pressured to make a decision, and I felt comfortable the whole time. Paul Fuchs made it very easy for me to make a decision, he helped me find exactly what I was looking for. He was very professional about the way he handled business along with everyone else in the process. Dealership Experience

I recently purchased a Honda CR-V and would certainly recommend my salesman, Clark Cotton. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. My experience with one of the sales managers (I do not know his name, nor do I want to) was less than satisfactory. He was rude, obnoxious and disrespectful to me and to his salesman. If there is more than one sales manager I apologize for painting this with a broad brush since I don't know his name. My salesman was the only reason I bought my car there and he helped me through the situation. If you don't have to deal with the sales manager your experience should be satisfactory. Everyone else there seems to be very friendly and helpful.

Excellent dealership

This is what car buying should be for everyone! What a breath of fresh air to come to a dealership where you are treated like a respectable individual. Madison was my second stop, but should have been my first. Jose Alvarez was friendly, patient, and informative. I had just come from another dealership that was the total opposite; they were pushy, lied about the cars available in the area, and very rude. At Madison, I was treated with respect, the true value of the car was honored and they acquired the car I requested in One day. So Jose worked out all of the details and I got my new car that same weekend! No gimmicks, run-around, or lies. I try appreciate that. Couldn't be happier!

Respect, Support, Efficiency...and a New Civic!

I just started leasing a Honda Civic from Madison Honda after driving a used Accord (also purchased from Madison Honda) for many years. I was so relieved to be able to work with Jacob to start leasing a new Honda since Jacob has known my family through the various cars he has both sold and leased to us over many more years. Overall, I very much appreciated the high levels of respect, support, and efficiency that characterized my experience working with Jacob and the process of trading in my used Accord and going forward with my first leased car; my automotive needs and financial means were met and taken into account in a way that made me feel that my concerns were at the forefront of Jacob's concerns as well. Perfect, no nonsense.

Jacob was our salesman. He made our experience a pleasant, seemless and applied no pressure. First visit was easy. My wife and I looked a cars and decided on the Accord. It took 30 minutes. We picked up the car and the process was only 50 minutes. Al (finance guy) made it fast easy and friendly. I normally hate buying a car and I have had a wide variety of experiences. Madison Honda was among the best.

Just purchased the 2016 Accord EX-L. This is my 2nd car purchased from Madison and Paul was the sells-person for both time. Paul Fuchs answered all our question with patience and did his best to explain the different options without being pushy. It was because of the positive experience when we bought the 2012 Odyssey 3 years ago that lead me to look at purchasing again at Madison and Paul is the reason that we went back.

We went into Madison Honda with a specific car, color, etc. in mind. While the whole process was lengthy because of the paperwork, we went home with just the car we wanted. Everyone was friendly. Kamal Bawa, our salesperson, answered all our questions and was very informative. He took us for a test drive and also explained all the accessories in the car.

Two excellent car-buying experiences

We had a good experience when buying a new CR-V from this dealer back in September 2014, so we didn't hesitate going back to Madison Honda when the time came for a new minivan. We went with Rich Giordano as our salesman again. Rich is very straightforward and professional. He didn't try to sell us a higher level Odyssey that we didn't need, and he gave us a fair price for the vehicle. We would definitely recommend this dealer and Rich as our salesman.
