I purchased a vehicle from this dealership that I thought was a good deal. On there add it said CLEAN CAR FAX. I dealt with Borris who promised me this vehicle was a 100% and he guaranteed it would pass inspection before I signed the paperwork. I drove it off the lot and 50 miles later the check engine light came on. I called the Borris and he assured me it was nothing and I should try unplugging the battery to reset the light. The check engine light came off like he said and about 75 miles later the same thing happen again. I talked to Borris and he said take it to a certified shop and get it checked out and they will cover any problems and coast to get car fixed because he guaranteed me the car would pass inspection and was 100% when he sold it to me. After having the car checked out at a certified dealership there was two codes that came up for the check engine light. Coast of parts was $1800 and $1600 in labor. I faxed the estimate over to Borris like he asked and he had the owner get in contact with me and pretty much told me they will only cover a small portion of the cost because I bought the car as is!!! He argued with me that the Check engine light came on after he sold it to me and was not his fault. The car had 100k on it when I bought it, so in the 50 miles that I owned the car two parts just so happen to break on my way home from U2 auto group that coast a total of $1800 just in parts alone. Now I have a car that needs $3600 in work just to get it to pass inspection. It was very easy just to reset the check engine light by unplugging the battery like Borris had instructed me to do. Even the certified Volkswagen dealership agreed that this was not a problem that just occurred with the car and was probally used with the check engine light on for a while and caused another part to break. If that all wasn't bad enough I looked up the vehicle history report and the car was in an accident. they failed to menotion that to me when I asked about the vehicle history. These guys are total xxxx bags and liars who will do anything to sell a vehicle. I strongly suggest anyone to stay away from them or buying a car AS IS from them.

I was at M2 Auto Group on March 19th to purchase a used car. Chantal, the salesperson I dealt with, was fast and efficient. Despite fielding phone calls and the constant stream of foot traffic into and out of the office, she was able to provide an expedient and hassle-free experience. She was up-front about the purchasing process and never pressured me in order to make a sale.

I stumbled across a craigslist ad that promoted a very reasonable price for an older model SUV, so I called for additional information. After work, I stopped by and was pleasantly greeted by Chantal. I wasn't quite sold on the vehicle that I came to see. It had a few minor challenges that made me less attracted than before, but Chantal was more than patient in showing me other options. Embarrassingly enough, I think I took the poor girl on 5 test drives, but she never seemed impatient. Ironically, I was successfully able to select the perfect Jeep liberty for my Fiance. I left the dealership and got the vehicle thoroughly inspected and there were no hidden surprises. There is no doubt that I would recommend this dealer again, and I wish for Chantal to make HUGE Commissions this year. She was awesome..

I took my chance to drive 6 hours to m2 cause they had the car I wanted for the price I was able to afford and I was doubtful at first cause I never been to this dealer before but the experience was great, they were friendly, no pressure at all, the car was in great shape, the transaction was quick and I was able to drive the car back 6 hours with no issues. I definitely be back for another car in the early future.

After my fiance has paid out of pocket over $2,500.00 in repairs, he goes to trade in the vehicle the car fax shows 3 major accidents on the vehicle. The appraisal of the truck was poor and declared a very unsafe vehicle. It was sent to a junk yard only thing good on the truck was the brand new engine block he had to replace after only owning it for 8 months. They are nothing but liars and there mechanic has no idea how to work on cars/trucks.

I called m2 auto group asking about a vehicle they had for sale to know if there was any issues or problems with the car before i drove a hour and half to look at it. They were honest telling me the speedometer doesn't work but said everything else was in perfect condition. So I make the hour and half drive there to see the car and instantly see the windshield has a crack across the entire thing, sunroof is cracked completely, the hood doesn't latch, tires are dry rotted, the spare tire is from a nissan and the car is a toyota and it is 2 inches bigger than the toyotas tires, the e-brake cables are gone, oil leaks all around the turbo, and the brakes are metal to metal. It is extremely unprofessional to not inform a possible buyer of any of these issues, especially when you have informed them of your long drive to come there. I would never waste my time or gas to go there again.

Flew 1600 miles to get this car. They must have known "they had me". I was told the car needed nothing, that they had gone through it. All they said it needed was 2 rear tires. These tires are 3-5 hundred each. Car was all over the road on the way home. Turns out the fronts are worse than the rears. I need to spend 2k on rubber now. Wonder what else I'll find?

I have been shopping for a car for my son as his high school graduation gift since he needs his own car to get to the county college. On a side note we aren't the richest people in the world so we have to get him a used car. We've been looking for 2 months and when to many different used car dealerships. Most of the places we when to, if not all gave me a bad feeling. When I found M2 Auto Group in East Brunswick I filled out a form on their website and was immediately responded to about my questions. Then I made an appointment with Juan and he had the car ready at the front door when we had arrived. We liked the car, it was in great condition and never felt pressured at all to make a purchase. We got exactly what we needed and a great experience provided by Juan.

I met with Borris and took both for a test drive. The one I wasnt so fond of but the other one had some upgrades done to it which I liked. Borris made me feel welcome and kept me at ease since buying a car is a big deal to me and dont handle it well. He is definitely the most un-salesy used car salesman Ive ever met. A++++

Bobby greeted us as fast as he could and asked us if we had questions about any of the cars they have. At the time we didnt and he let us wander around without hassling us. We were comfortable and were able to make a decision without feeling the pressure. Also, the negotiation was a breeze. We got a Volkswagen Jetta for our daughter.

Nothing but good things to say about M2 Auto Group! Overall it took me 2 weeks to decide to purchase a car from them. It being a used car at a fantastic price I thought it was too good to be true. I know a little about cars so I did the best inspection I could. Turns out that the car was in great condition except for some exterior scratches that isnt a big deal to me. We were in the market for an inexpensive SUV as an addition to our cars so we have something with more storage. Our first visit to M2 Auto Group we didnt make a decision to buy but we had Boris keep in touch when they get what we were looking for. About a week later we were contacted by M2 and they let us know to check out their new inventory. Sure enough they had a SUV at the price we wanted. We inspected the car and the only thing was that the battery had a low charge. They replaced the battery for us which sealed the deal. There was no nonsense or pressure during the entire purchase process. They took care of us to our satisfaction and would recommend M2 Auto Group to our friends.

When I arrived at M2 I was immediate greeted by Bobby and he was as helpful as possible. My budget is low and he helped me find the best car for my lifestyle. Sadly I would not buy a vehicle from this Place. I went there yesterday April 24 looking for a vehicle for my daughter. When I told the salesperson that it looks like this Saturn was in an accident he asked me if that was a problem. I went to M2 because they have vehicles in my price budget. I didnt expect a 10-15 year old car to be in 100% condition and if you do then youre nuts. I found a 2004 hyundai here that I purchased. The interior isnt in the best condition and the exterior needs some tlc but its cheap and it is 10 years old Under the hood looked great, the tires are great, the belts are great, mainly the most important parts are in good condition which made be buy this car. I feel that I received regular service and purchased a regular vehicle at a great price.

When I asked to see the carfax for a vehicle which was obviously repaired from a front-end collision, I was told that it would cost $15. When asked if I could get a complementary one, there was hesitation, and a 'no'. At that point I told the man to 'have a nice day' and proceeded to walk away, at which time he finally made the offer to provide one - which I declined because i was already on the way out. Too much hassle for me to deal with, especially when there are literally hundreds of other dealers in the area.

My car blew up driving to work the other morning. I thought to myself, "Well this is it. I do not have the money to buy a brand new car nor do I have the time." It looked as if long rides on public transportation with the creepy old guy down on Gristmill Drive were inevitable. With little hopes of finding a dealership that wouldn't jip me out of my life savings, I did some online research. And just as I was about to give up faith, I stumbled across M2 Auto Group's website. The prices looked great and they were conveniently located not too far away from where I live. So, with my spirits uplifted, I got a ride from my brother and headed on over. I arrived at the dealership and was immediately welcomed with open arms. I felt like a part of the family. My salesman, Bobby was his name, listened to my story, took down my budget, and instantly knew exactly where to go. He lead me to a Nissan Versa to start (I prefer to drive sedans), and walked me around filling me in on all the details, number of owners, and so on. The car did not peak my interest, and he caught that as if he had known all along. He brought me over to a gorgeous Jetta. After giving me the rundown on the car and the carfax, he had sold me on it. Not only was the car in great condition and great looking, but we had managed to stay under budget and i even had a little extra spending money! Everything was quick, easy, and affordable. What more could you ask for from a dealership? I would recommend M2 Auto Group a thousand times over to anyone looking for a used car. Be it financing or buying on the spot. I could not be any more pleased with everything that they had to offer.

M2 Auto Group has great prices on cars, no doubt about that. I found a car from M2 doing an online search. But I was 500 miles away. So I called them and asked them to describe the car and anything I should know since it would be an investment to travel to get the car. I also let them know this was for my new teen driver so it needs to be safe. But they basically just said "Looks good. Just normal wear and tear expected on a 7 year old car. A couple scratches on the front bumper." So I trusted them. I bought the car sight unseen and flew to NJ with a one-way ticket. They did help me with directions and even picked me up from the train station. BUT, I got the dealership, and the car was not as it was represented IMO. There were dents on the hood, dents above the door, and a couple on the fender. The airbag light was on, the tires were damaged or bald. Windshield scratched badly. And a host of other minor fixable things. And it wasn't even on the lot when I got there. They had to go drive to get it somewhere, then put the tags on, and check fluids etc. When they already knew I was coming to pick up the car.So in summary, I think they had some good points and some bad points. I've bought many cars online and this is the first time a dealer didn't give me a clue about things it needed and the photos were even shot as to hide the issues. (They knew this was for my teen daughter and didn't even mention the airbag light or dangerous tires!?) So buy cars from them, but make sure you do your homework and ask lots of questions and look it over carefully before committing. This dealer is probably better for a local buyer who can come see the cars, as I don't see them being very helpful or honest over the phone. I think these guys are just buying cars from the auction and throwing them back out on the lot to make a quick buck, without caring too much about the details.

I was immediate greeted by Boris and was test driving the GTI they had in no time. He answered all of my questions and made me feel comfortable (he wasnt pushy at all). The only things I didnt like about the GTI is that the seat were kinda worn and the headlight covers are foggy. Since its just cosmetics I decided to purchase it and absolutely love driving another GTI!

We desperately needed a different car because our old one just had one problem after another. Juan was the man helping us and from the beginning of meeting him, his service was top notch. He was very focused on our needs in a car to recommend the best ones he had in stock to suit our needs. That immediately gained my trust with him. Since buying cars, we have never experienced a car salesman like Juan especially at a used car dealer. The way he handled the car buying process is why I am recommending everyone to visit m2 if theyre in the market for a used car.

I found one in my price range at M2 Auto Group. I wanted this vehicle badly they had to remind me of the internet price which was $500 less. Who does that? The salesman was great, he was laid back and told it like it was... He wasn't the typical car salesman that we all hate... I had no problems at all... I went to look at and possibly buy a used 99 Volkswagen Cabrio on a Saturday. The customer service was terrible, the salesmen were unfriendly and rude and seemed too busy to assist me. They said they didn't really have much information on the car as they had just gotten it in and seemed to avoid all of my questions. I finally got someone to take me for a test drive and the car made a strange rattling noise which the tried to pass off as a loose bracket on the muffler and again, brushed off any other questions I had. The price on the sticker was $3200 and I made an offer of $3000. the salesman told me he was firm on the price so I walked away. Later that evening I found that the dealership had posted the car online at $2900. After looking around at a few other cars of a similar model I decided I was going to call and accept that price Monday morning. The man I spoke with Monday morning agreed to hold the car for me as long as i put a deposit on the car and he faxed me the forms. I called back and told him I wanted the muffler looked at to make sure a broken bracket was the actual cause of the rattling, he said he would check on it and call me back later that day (which he never did). After I got home From work I drove 30 minutes down to the dealership to buy the car. When I arrived the man behind the desk told me that they had sold the car online that morning. Even after explaining to him that I had already put my down payment on the car that morning, he was still rude and unhelpful. They never actually charged the down payment to my card but they still had me under the impression that they would hold the car for me, without even calling to say they had sold it. I wouldn't suggest purchasing a car from this dealership unless you are a fan of terrible customer service and wasting your time.

I purchased a 2006 Ford F150 at this dealer. I bought several used vehicles in the past, so this was not my first experience buying a used truck. However, my experience with this particular dealer was difficult from start to finish. The salesman was not accommodating when I asked questions about the vehicle prior to visiting the lot. I had to pay for the Carfax, the dealer did not cover this. Upon purchase, they held my check for over a week. Then they wouldn't let me pick up the vehicle for another week, they assured me it would be detailed and clean upon arrival. On the day of pick up, I waited at the lot for almost an hour, only to find out that the truck wasn't there. The dealer made me drive a mile down the street to another lot. When I arrived at the second lot, the truck had just come out of the carwash and had not been vacuumed or detailed like we agreed. I waited another hour while the detailer finished the detailing. They did not get the mildew smell out of it and was still filthy. On the drive home, the brakes seized up. I haven't had the truck for 24 hours and it's already in the shop. Buyer beware!

I purchased a van from the in November and it wasn't until January when i presented with the problem. The reason it took so long to realize the problem was due to the fact they didn't send me the original title to the van till January. The odometer on the van had around 91,000 miles on it, but the actual mileage from the the state of Nj title states it has 109,000. It leads me to believe that the true mileage of the van is unknown or in question. At no point in time was i told there was an issue regarding the the title till after i paid for the car. I would never had purchased the vehicle if that was the case. I seriously question any dealer who would sell a vehicle with an issue of this nature.I urge anyone looking to purchase a car from them to research the title on the car and to have a mechanic look at it.I hope this helps at least one person.

Letter Sent to Owner Robert Lecgnato NOT RESOLVED CURRENTLY IN LITIGATION...DON'T LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU!!!!!!!!!!!On June 8th 2012, my wife and I purchased a used 2005 Ford Escape Limited Edition VIN:1FMCU94115KA80327 from your dealership. Total cost of 2005 Ford Escape with insurance, state tax, title, registration, plates and fees $9300.50The salesperson, Juan, sold me a Limited Warranty from GWC at $365.00 for 4500-mile/3-month warranty that covered any issue that may occur, since we saw an issue when test driving the car. You stated that if there was an issue to come to you first and youd resolve it. That was the main incentive for me to buy the vehicle. When we came to pick-up the Escape on the June 8th and finalized all the paper work on the car it had an engine light on and it indicated that it needed Emission Service Juan said hed have the mechanic look at it. After an examination of the car by your mechanic he told you and you told me that it needed a transmission selection sensor an $82.00 item. We went back and forth, you stated that the insurance company would not cover the item because it was preexisting condition of the vehicle. So we agreed to purchase the part and at your cost install it. The part took 4 days to arrive and in the interim we kept the car garaged without use until then we drove the car to your dealership to await the installation of the transmission selection senor and when we came to pick up the car, I test drove the car and the engine light came on again we left the car with your mechanic and he looked over the car again and when I called you to find out how the car was doing you told me, that the car had an other problem it needed one to three catalytic converters $400 each up to $1200 not including labor. This was devastating to us because we were just getting rid-of a 2002 mini-van with the same problem. As you remember I told you this, how about the insurance (GWC), and again this would not be covered. Finally I told you this is a deal breaker, and I wanted my money back you said we normally dont take cars back but you would in this instance and it would cost me $1200 re-stocking fee you said it be better for us to fix the car and pay the $1200 in parts and youd do the labor free. As much as I feel you seem to be trying to help us I find that Ive been swindled somehow, I took the car without any further repair on your part and the car broke down three blocks away from your dealership, and I needed to have the car towed to my home. Four days later you issued me my plates and I towed the Escape to a local State inspection shop and it failed for emissions.By State law you are required to sell me a vehicle that passes inspection which it didnt; when I bought this to your attention you showed me that my wife had signed a waiver on the contract which you well know I bought this to Juans attention and he told me this was just to insure that we took the car to inspection. In my opinion this is misrepresentation of the facts, I expect your dealership to resolve this situation in one of two ways:1) Repair the 2005 Ford Escape to pass inspection at No cost to me! 2) Buy the car back from me at the price I paid for it without any re-stocking fee.I also expect you to discuss this matter with Juan and explain to him the importance of knowing and communicating the details of specific Inspection Wavier accurately and honestly so as not to cause any type of misrepresentation. Please call me at (732) 620-8969 within seven business days to resolve this matter. If I do not hear from you by then, Ill report this incident to the appropriate regulatory agencies, and my attorney.>>>>>>>>>>BUYER BEWARE!!!! this is NOT Reputable etablishment DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!!

I Bought a Volvo from these guys, I will say, they didn't twist my are in buying it, but they are VERY misleading in their sales, and of course it was "AS IS" the "minor" problems,so they say "will only cost $100 to fix, if we have our Mechanics do the work we'll have to add it to the price" so they knock $300 off the price, take it to my mechanic when I get it home, it costs alomost double to fix it to where it'll go through inspection that what I paid for the car. As soon as I pulled away, it officially became my peice of junk. Good experience at the time of sale, with friendly, attentive, non-pushy service. After the sale, we realized that there were several inaccurate descriptions of the vehicle, which were not obvious upon inspection. They also did not have the title (that information was not revealed until after the sale was completed) on hand, and it took over three weeks to receive. There paperwork errors were blamed on us, and instead of being helpful and apologetic, became irritated, condescending and attempted to push the blame elsewhere. Overall, not a very good experience after the sale.

So here is my story... I was in a car accident and totaled my car and needed a new one fast. Went to a few places and bought a car for cheap here. This was supposed to just be a temporary car for me but I have no problems with it so far that I will use it until it breaks. The salesman was really nice and knew a lot about the different makes & models that they have. Thanks for the inexpensive car!

I happened to purchase a used car here. It wasn't in the best of condition but it is a car with high mileage. Since I don't travel far it made sense to buy. Unfortunately, I had to spend an extra 500 to get a new belt, oil change & tires rotated n balanced. The person I dealt with was named Boris and overall I'm happy with my purchase.

Purchased a vehicle last year and was told it needed nothing. Took it the next week to my mechanic who gave me an estimate for 2500 worth of work that needed to be done. I called them immediately and it was a huge fight eventually I agreed to paying for parts and they would do free labor. Still cost me another $1500. Now this year I go for inspection and it turns out one of the things they were supposed to fix the valve cover gasket is leaking so much oil that it failed due to fire hazard. This part if installed correctly should last 5+ years minimum. Now they won't return phone calls. Save yourself the time money and a huge headache!

I drove a long distance to see a car they had. The owner assured me that the car had a small accident and that front bumper was the only thing that was replaced (which I didn't mind). When I actually went to see it, there were more problems than good. First of all, the two front airbags were deployed, ever part on the car was a different color. Then, I decided to test drive it anyways, the tires were rubbing against the bumper and the clutch was bad. The window buttons were working properly. Many more problems to mention but I don't have all day. STAY AWAY FROM THEM AND THEIR LEMONS!!

Looking for decent car to get to chemo treatments for stage 4 cancer patient. Went on a Saturday afternoon was initially told car was in small accident and told small refundable deposit 10% would hold car until we could bring mechanic in. Went back after finding out the car was actually in 3 serious accidents and had more damaged then reported to us by salesman. Was cussed at by management when we went back with this information, they then put up a brand new sign that said no refunds on deposits while we were standing there, and told us to prove it. Have since contacted the Better Business Bureau of NJ.. Would not recommend this used car lot to anyone. This is how they treat senior citizens and cancer patients

Even one star is too high of a rating from us for this company. Recently, we experienced what appeared to be a bait-and-switch here. A car was advertised as a 2006 Subaru 6-speed for $10,000, but what was offered was a 2005. And not only did they not come down on the price, but charged MORE. Then the car broke down on the way home on the Turnpike 20 minutes after leaving the dealer. The company/salesrep was contacted immediately from the side of the Turnpike and they refused to do anything to help, and were not concerned at all by what they caused and the unsafe delemna of being stuck on the turnpike!! WE had it towed (two tow trucks because of where we were located). The company then began a horrible game of stringing us along and being very shady alternating between they will pay for repairs to not answering or returning phone calls. All in all, I would NOT recommend this group to anyone who wants honest dealings and a quality product. We are still trying to get them to be fair and pay for the HUGE amount of repairs it turned out the car needed. Definitely UN-professional and dishonest.

I should have reviewed them before buying from them but I was in a rush. Either way they should be selling cars that can pass inspection. The night I drove it home the check engine light came on and I brought it to my mechanic and he told me it was the converter and so my car won't pass inspection! They won't pay for it, so I have to come up with the $1000 to fix it. As a dealership if you care about your reputation your supposed to guarantee inspection. So I soon come to find out that the shocks are bad on the car, theres an oil leak and the transmition fluid is bad, the exaust is ready to fall off, and lots more that the mechanic listed. Everything is rusted and breaking off! I know I should have checked the car but they should't be allowed to sell cars like this period!!!

I came to this lot looking for a safe and affordable vehicle for my son to drive back and fourth from college. We found some really nice vehicles from their advertisements online and went in to see the lot. The staff made us feel very welcome and they answered a ton of questions about all the vehicles we were interested in. After some tough choices we ended up with a subaru that my son has fallen in love with. Just to make sure we got a good price on the vehicle I checked some other websites on my smartphone and I couldn't find anything comparable for the price they had on the sticker (which is not what I paid either). M2 Auto Group has given me a lot of confidence in buying used vehicles with minimal hassle. Their simple prices and straight forward sales approach was a relief from what I was used to at other lots.

I brought a 2002 Pontiac Grand Am Se from them in the second week of November. I had set up a date to meet with the dealers since i live all the way in PA. When i got there, the guy with the Russian accent greeted me and showed me to the car. He even gave me the keys and left me with my family alone to look at the car. we noticed there was some flood damage, rust on the front of the hood, and the rear tires were dry rotted. Since i didn't know how to drive a stick yet, my dad took the car for a test drive to test the car and it passed. My dad did a power slide around a corner to see how it handled it and the russian dealer guy didn't freak, he did look like he was scared though. I paid 3700 for it. it had 80,000 miles on it. I haven't had a single problem with it, and I LEARNED TO DRIVE STICK ON THIS CAR. They definitely replaced the clutch cause it was brand new from what my dad and my uncle said ( My uncle is a diesel mechanic so). Eric kept making excuses when we asked about the rust on the seat tracks from obvious flood damage, but we saw that nothing major was wrong with it. Just in case, we got the 60 day warranty with it. Thing got weird with the paperwork since we didn't pick up the car til the following week and I had my family that lived in NJ pick it up. There was a lot of confusion and it was kinda our fault. but everything got settled quickly. I have put 6,000 miles on the car and driven it to NJ to visit my family at least 5 times and driven it to Cape Cod, MA. I have yet to have a problem. Definitely not a horrible place.

I went to see a Jeep Grand Cherokee a little over a month ago and actually was surprised by the way I was treated here. First of all, I didn't feel any pressure into purchasing the truck. The salesman, Boris, let me look at the truck by myself without any hassle. He came out a few minutes later to see how I liked it. I had a few of the normal questions to ask. He was very polite and answered every question. I asked him if my mechanic can take a look at the truck before I bought it. Initially, he said I needed to bring my mechanic to the dealership, but then he agreed to take the truck to my mechanic! He took the truck early in the morning, way before he had to open the dealership... My mechanic went over the truck and let me know the trucks issues... which were minor. I just needed 2 tires and a drive belt. I called Boris and we came to an agreement on the price which I thought was fairly reasonable. He was not the typical salesman scum that I'm used to dealing with. I saw some of these post's and thought I should share my experience. I definitly recommend this place.

I bought a 1996 BMW 328is form Boris, The AC control wasnt working. They found a replacement installed it and now all blower and AC functions correctly. Boris even gave me the original control unit when I asked for it. Minor issues with the door panel that I repaired for the cost of new pin fasteners. Interior liner was separating due to age that a bit of glue repaired, other minor things that was obvious. Other then that the car works just great. I passed NJ inspection with flying colors. I did look over the car such as oil color, patch up paint, body, engine transmission noise, making sure all the dashboard lights worked such as check engine light. I made it home and now put on 1500 miles with no issues. What I am saying look over the car as thoroughly as possible. If you are interested in a particular vehicle bring a mechanic with you.Boris was great, I was a bit skeptical of used car dealers but he did what he promised.Bottom line buyer be ware, make sure you know what you are putting down your hard earned bucks on and then enjoy. Some questions to ask:How many miles are on the carWho was this vehicle bought from? Where was this car bought? What kind of oil do you use in the car How long of a test drive can I take Are you willing to let me get this inspected independently

Rob then overnighted my temp plates and title the next day, even though it was a weekend.I buy a lot of cars and I have to say this was the best, no bullsh*t process I have ever experienced. 3 weeks later and my jeep runs great. Looking for a relatively new audi, M2 auto group was the only dealership close to me that had what I wanted (low miles, black interior, gps, etc.) Before going there, I read the reviews and I was hesitant to even make the trip out there. Because there are only 12 reviews on this dealership, and only 5 people writing the reviews, I decided that I would be optimistic and make the trip out there. The sales rep was extremely busy, but still answered all of my questions. he was NOT pushy (I hate pushy sales people that won't let me breathe), he was not pressuring me into buying the vehicle right then and there. He even gave me the keys and let me go outside and look through the car for 10 minutes before he came outside. He told me where all the scratches were inside and outside the car. He printed a car fax for me right in front of me! When I decided to purchase the car, there were no hidden fees and I was able to negotiate a few dollars off the car for the scratches. The sales rep helped me look for cheaper insurance policies, suggested the extended warranty(which I purchased), and told me not to worry about the plates because he will FEDEX them to me as soon as he gets them. I received my plates in the mail 1.5 weeks after I purchased the car. Once the sale was complete, I told him that I was hesitant to even come to the dealership because of the reviews, and he replied "We sell thousands of cars, and there are only 10 reviews online...need I say more?"People love to write the negative and complain. I was not going to write about my pleasurable experience with this dealership, but I decided that I needed to share my encounter because the reviews does not do this dealership its justice.

On July 20, 2010 I went to check out a 2005 Nissan Xterra from M2 Auto Group hoping it was as good as the ad on craigslist boasted.I spoke with Juan about making a deal after taking the test-drive and he agreed to take off $500 of the sticker price and I was to come back the next day with the $. I returned in the morning ready to make a deal and Juan was nowhere. After test-driving one more time I spoke with Juan over the phone and he explained there was no change in the sticker price that they were firm on it. Even though we had discussed the previous day a deal stating that if i negotiate for $500 off I waive my right to the warranty that is required by NJ Lemon Law and had to purchase an extended one. After 2 hours of attempting to make a deal I finally settled on paying the sticker price. Mike writes up the contract I sign, he signs, I ask, 'so since I am paying the FULL sticker price I am getting both an extended warranty and the 60 day dealership warranty REQUIRED by NJ Lemon Law?' and all of a sudden the "manager" Robert walks in and yells "Cancel the deal! It's going to the Auction!" I got extremely irate demanded to speak with the manager/owner, whoever's in charge as I had a SIGNED contract and Mike tells me that was him, not to bother NOT TO BUY HERE that I don't deserve this treatment. He seemed pissed also as we just spent 2 hours on this deal. Extremely upset and aggravated I left and proceeded to report them to the BBB (adding to the already many complaints). I had a friend of mine call the next day to ask about the Xterra to see if it really was "going to the auction" and sure enough it was "still available" and the price was exactly what I was going to pay. The deal breaker here: me demanding to get the required dealership warranty of 60 days 3000 miles holding them 100% liable if something went wrong (minus a $50 deductible) If it was such a "sound, strong truck" like Juan said it shouldn't have been a problem giving me a 60 day warranty!! BUYER BEWARE!! THEY'RE A BUNCH OF CROOKS!

On June 26, 2010 I purchased a 2002 Hyundai Sante Fe from M2 Auto Group along with a 90 day warranty from your corporation. As any used car dealer would do they told me that the car was in great condition, I test drove it and all seemed well (from an untrained mechanics eye) it looked and drove well the car fax came up clean and overall all seemed well, I proceeded with the purchase and approximately 24 hours later the car was un-drivable. I couldnt believe it. I got in my car and noticed it was extremely hard to turn my wheel and drove immediately to my mechanics and this is what he told me:The powering steering hose had a large leak and was pouring out fluid and could not be driven until the hose was replaced. The passenger window will not go up or down from the passengers sideThe oil was MUD The transmission fluid smelled like celery also thick as mud The brakes started screeching and would need to be replaced immediately The Air conditioning which was advertised as is perfect condition by the sale rep said all it needed was a charge of free-on which leaked out within 24 hours and needed a new hose and to be recharged again. My mechanic also informed me in the very near future the car will need other maintenance I will have him draw up an estimate on the further repairs that will be needed within the next 90 days. I contacted M2 Auto group on Sunday 6/27 numerous times and no one answered and the answering machine was so full you could not leave a message for them, I then contacted them on Monday 6/28 and left numerous messages for the manager Juan who was the only person I could speak to because the owner of M2 will not speak with anyone, I then contacted Juan back Tuesday 6/29 numerous times again with no call back to me, by Wednesday 6/30 I told my mechanic to go forward with the abundant amount of repairs needed to get my vehicle functioning. Total $614.00 is repairs within 24 hours of owning my truck :'( Since the repairs have been made I have contacted Juan at M2 Auto Group countless times with no avail, all I get is the run around for reimbursement. Luckily I did purchase a 90 day warranty with Guardian Warranty Corporation and some resolution is better than no resolution. I did report M2 Auto Group to the Attorney General's office and to the Better Business Bureau my one complaint will add to the many they already have. Also before you purchase anything from this awful business see what others have gone through I was one of the LUCKY ones! BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!

This morning after seeing an ad on another site I called M2 to ask if they had still had the vehicle.I asked specifically if there was anything wrong with the vehicle because based on my search the price was alot lower than fair market value.I called twice before making the trip to make sure I was going to see what the pics had shown.Well I get there and after a 10 second look around I notice there is a space between the headlight and the fender thats atleast 1 inches off.Look in the wheel well..no cover that should be there and if you touch the headlight it will fall inward.Otherwise in good condition so maybe based on the price I overlook the terrible work that was done to fix what Im sure had to be the result of an accident.I go inside and guy hands me the keys.I start it up I see an engine light.I try to turn the ac/heat on and it won't work.I try the windows/doorlocks...nope.I go inside and guy asks what I thought.I ask about what kind of accident this truck was in and I get..."well most trucks/cars that are older and used have been in accidents".All the while guy is doing other things and not even looking at me.Sure there are alot of vehicles in accidents but if repaired right it shouldnt matter so much.I tell him the truck has alot of issues and I get a response of "oh".A complete waste of time and a bit of honesty in the ad could have avoided me taking a unnecessary trip.

Rude service aside, the cars they sell generally seem to have been modified poorly or had home-brew repairs done on them. I Bought a Mk 4 Volkswagen Golf from the dealership. Upon inspection, it needed a few things, but the main issue was that the check engine light had been reset to that it didn't show up during test drive. Not even 30 miles into ownership and the check engine light came on showing misfire. M2 refused to acknowledge the problem and said that it was not their fault, I should have inspected the car better. How can you inspect a car thoroughly when the test drive is one right turn and a stop sign, for a total trip of less than a mile? The car was nothing but problems, and finally ended in disaster when it broke down on the highway, never to work again. If anyone is considering buying a car from this dealership I'd recommend walking away, and for those of you that did purchase a car from this dealership, might I suggest a very small deductible because it will get very expensive very fast.

Was looking for a nice used luxury vehicle to which I located at this dealership. However, the experience just over the phone turned me away. The sales rep. was not even paying attention to any of my questions and every answer had a pause with a real low tone answer to which I could not make out. Then as I continued to ask questions on the vehicle, the sales rep start it to show less care, and less interest in helping me. Jobs are hard to fine and unemployment high, but some how this guy has a job...

I had been looking for a vehicle to replace the one I'd had for several years. My inital visit to M2Auto was to check out a 2006 Jeep Laredo. I asked if I could test drive and the battery wouldn't start. I was told due to the cold weather that was the reason, however I kept that thought in the back of my mind. I test drove the Jeep and something just didnt' feel right about the vehicle. The salesman informed me that it had indeed been in an accident and the front end/grill had to be replaced. So I stayed clear away from this vehicle, however while I was there I noticed a 2003 Volkswagen Passat W8 Motion. I inquired, test drove and everything seemed to be in order for what I was looking to purchase. Low miles, car fax came up clean and overall from an untrained mechanics eye looked and drove well. I proceeded with the purchase. Approxiamately 3 weeks after having the vehicle a dashboard signal came on. I took out the owners manual to find out what is was as it was the malfunction indicator light. I contacted M2auto and told them of the issue. And I also inquired about my transferred plates. Freddie told to come in and they would take a look at the vehicle. I took the vehicle in Bobby wasn't there so I had to deal with Mike to called Bobby for every quesiton. Mike couldn't find my plates, and then told me that no one had time to look at my vehicle. He called Bobby and told him of the issues. I spoke with Bobby and expressed my dissatisfaction of the problems with the vehicle and not receiving transfered plates. Bobby told me that he is only the manager and doens't handle the plares, I told him that a a manager it is his job to ensure that his employees do what is expected of your customers, especially since I had made it quite clear that I wanted to transfer my plates. He hung the phone up on me. Finally a mechanic performed a diagonistic test on the vehicle and told me it was the torque converter clutch (transmission). Bobby told Mike, that he didn't want me to come back to the dealership to get any repairs done. I've filed a complaint with BBB and NJ Attorney General's Office and will continue to inform other's of there lack of professionalionism, courtesy and respect of unsuspecting buyers.BTW I still haven't recieved my transferred plates...

Originally I was alittle hesitant to purchase a car from the reviews. I found them on the internet and was coming from 3 hours away. I had left a deposit then found the reviews later. I called and expressed my concern to Robert and we spoke for over a half an hour about the car, the purchase process and just the business overall. When I arrived the car was ready and the checked out well by myself(not a mechanic of any sort) and I also had a local mechanic stop in and check the car out before I laid the money out. The mechanic brought up a few wear items to take into consideration with the higher miles. I purchased an extended warranty which turned out too be a pretty good deal. Within the 3 months I have had the car, I had to have a minor repair to the Rear window regulator/motor and a Brake Caliper. Overall it was a pretty painless experience, I'd recommend the extended warranty if it fits in your budget incase of any large mechanical failure. Good LuckRandy

My car died so I needed to find a new one. I can't remember the guys name the shorter of the two in the office. Anyway, he said he had this GREAT Jetta GLX coming in and I was shopping for a VW. When the car finally came in, oh and I asked that he call when it did come in, I called and it seemed like I pulling teeth just to get an answer about the car. They said i could come in and check it out. When I got there, the car was no where near how he talked it up to be. I looked like someone wearing a full arm cast attempted to do touch up paint ALL over the car, not a good job and the color didn't match up either. The rear bumper was hit and cracked.Side molding was coming off and some how half of the bottom skid guard was missing. They "detailed" the car prior to me getting there and the inside smelt like mildew and wet dog. When I went into the office after seeing the car he asked what I thought, I said its alright. ALRIGHT?!? The car is better than ALRIGHT, like I'm an idiot and had this stupid look on his face like I offended him. Unlike the last person who commented, the guy let me test drive the car and trust me you didn't miss anything. He drove the car off the curb without a ramp or anything. The front tire was flat and they had to but air in the tire. (the time prior to this, another car in the sales lot had a flat. And if you know MK IV Jetta's the milage and time is always on, even if the car is off. Not one but two Jetta's in the sales lot had dead batteries) My test drive consisted of him directing me around back streets, that he kept warning me about cops and not to go over the 25 to 30 MPH speed limit, and even at that speed the test drive was over in literally 5 minutes or less. After the test drive he had me park close to where it was parked but in the Krausers parking lot, I can only assume they just drove it back up the curb. We went back to the office and he eventually quoted me a price. It looked like they had just sold a car to someone but was doing everything else but finish with them. The one guy that was helping the buyers was talking on his cell phone while the guy that was suppose to be helping me was doing something for him on his cpu. Then a customer from out of state came into the office and had spoke with them about a car, now me and the buyers are just sitting there being ignored (I could tell those poor poeple that just bought their car were getting PISSED). They directed them back outside as they could not find the keys for the car. I finally get my number 4016.00 out the door, everything. So I said, ok so its 4k, NO its the price I told you. I asked him if he was serious and he said he was and again making that stupid face. Done, over, good bye, and never again. I'll by a scooter before I ever even ask them a question about a car. They have no business being in a sales oriented business.Oh and to comment on the last guys posting, he said he thinks the "5" rating is a fake. Your absolutely right because seen the exact same post on a different site word for word. They think highly of them selves.

I was on my way to this dealer and called to ask to test drive a car. The dealer asked if I was ready to buy now. I said very soon but not tonight. He said "you can look at the car but you cannot test drive it, I don't want to move my cars unless you are ready to buy". I hung up, made a U-turn, and went to a reputable dealer that I used in the past and ended up buying a car that night after all. Every time I called this dealer, they answered the phone with just a quiet "hello?" as if they were a private seller. They never answer "M2 Auto Group". What are they trying to hide? They always give short answers over the phone as if you are bothering them. They received a grade of "F" from the Better Business Bureau. Read the first review where they scored a 5. It is obvious they wrote this tacky review themselves or had a friend do it. I did not purchase a car from them so I cannot give a complete review. But use caution before buying a car from them.

My 17 year old daughter saved for over 2 years for her first car ,she purchased a 1999 S70 Volvo sedan, drove 2 1/2 hours to see the car , car was advertised on Craig's List as a great running car with no issues. bought the car as is, knowing it needed a few things , never made it home and was towed to Holman Volvo Egg Harbor Twsp, N.J. with total transmission failure. , car needs over 10 K worth of work , according to volvo the car undrivable and not safe , needs new transmission , missing front suspension parts and much more to make it safe and road worthy.Contacted M2 Auto group within 2.5 hours of the purchase and to our dismay .. they were totally unsympathetic and told us we purchased an as is vehicle. our argument is that we never even made it home from the purchase and the car was undrivable from approximately 2.5 hours after the purchase. Spoke to saleman several times, they in turn told us that they contact the owner of M2 autogroup and stated customers complaints and customer requested a return call. Owner refuses to return our calls to address the issue in a proper business manner. we just want a refund and to return the undrivable car.
