Several people had recommended Lundgren Honda when I told them I was interested in leasing a new vehicle. I had no experience with leasing cars and I had lots of questions. Drove 1 hour with my wife and small child to look at a used car. Got there and had my car appraised while taking a test drive. Came back and they gave me the biggest low ball offer for my showroom quality car I've ever gotten, $4500 less than the last dealer I had it appraised at. I discussed that movement was needed all to hear them come back and say sorry, can't move on the trade or the price of the car. Was at the dealership a total of 30 mins with test drive time included. Wouldn't give me the time of day. Will never go back or recommend this dealer to anyone. Complete waste of me and my families time.

My family has been purchasing cars from Lundgren Honda for DECADES. I was thrilled to be buying a brand new CRV from them. We paid for the car in full, cash up front, on Wednesday, and were promised delivery on Thursday or Friday. Friday, we got a voice mail in the afternoon stating there was a problem with registering it (there is no way there could have been any problem!) and they could not register our car until TUESDAY! We have already paid for this car! That means we are paying insurance on a new car for an entire week for nothing; while still having to pay for insurance for our old car!We were LIVID when we got the message. My husband called our sales guy, Riley, who was pretty clueless. We asked them to deliver the car with dealer plates until they could figure this out. We offered to come to the dealership and pick up the paperwork and go register the car ourselves. We pointed out that the registry, only 25 minutes from them, is open tomorrow; Saturday; so why in the world would we have to wait until Tuesday to get our car which we have fully paid for and insured? To make it worse, Riley promised to see what he could do....then NEVER CALLED US BACK! I called and left a voice mail for the General Manager and guess what....no call back. This is outrageous, unacceptable, and unconscionable.So here it is early Saturday morning and we have no idea what is going on with our car. That's right, OUR CAR because we paid cash for it 3 days ago, yet Lundgren Honda is basically holding it hostage. Apparently once Lundgren Honda gets your money, you go to the bottom of their priority list.This is NOT okay with us on any level. We are now out the insurance money we have had to pay for a week when we did not even have our car! There is no excuse for them not delivering our car as PROMISED on Thursday on Friday. NEVER AGAIN. It pains me to say this after having bought several cars from Lundgren; but NEVER AGAIN. They need to do something pretty significant to make up for the money we have lost, the frustration, the disappointment, unreturned phone calls, lack of communication, and the broken promises. Our son came home today after being away with the Army. We were so excited to surprise him with our new family car as we celebrated the birthday he missed while he was away for weeks doing grueling training in the summer heat to protect our country. THANKS LUNDGREN HONDA FOR RUINING THAT TOO.

My wife and I just purchased our third car from Lundgren Honda in the past 10 years. The first car was a new Civic Hybrid that we bought new in 2006. We bought it from Mr. Lundgren Senior. I remember being very happy at the time because it was a very good experience considering we spent $23,000. In 2014 we purchased a used CRV from Frasier Moss. Also a good experience. It's not too often we spend that much money and it's great I still had that good feeling when I spent more than that this time on a used Ridgeline. I was also happy this time with my salesman Ralph Bass. He was concerned with my well being and worked hard to be sure my desires were met. Thanks Ralph.

I appreciate the quick service so I can get out and get on with my day. Unfortunately I had an incident where my tires and rims were both damaged on my new 2016 Honda Civic. Chris in the service department was absolutely fantastic. Between his professionalism and approachability, he made the experience seem to flow seemlessly as he supported coordinating the cars repairs. Not only Chris's performance as a service representative, but Fraser Moss who sold me the vehicle just a month prior, have made me want to continue to do business with Lundgren again and again. I cannot say enough about how amazing the service here is.

Started online with Kathy Gallo on a Tuesday after some research on the 2016 Accord EX-L V-6. Visited Lundgren that evening and met Len Robinson for a quick chat/test drive. Both Len and Kathy were professional, polite, informed and friendly. Wanted to sleep on the decision making process and no push back at all from anyone at Lundgren. Got back in touch over the next few days via text with Len (no annoying calls from the dealer) and made the decision on color and model. Arrived on Saturday and everything was perfect. No surprises, car was ready, finance team was ready, and I am driving a super car.Third vehicle I have purchased at Lundgren over the last 10 years. Save yourself some time and shop here first. The price won't be beat, nor will the car-buying experience.

Owning a small business I often enough find myself paying close attention to how other businesses have successfully (or not) developed customer service. Recently my wife and I purchased our 3rd Honda from Lundgren which has given me the chance to see how well their teamwork functioned even when our circumstances threw them some curves.When our 2nd Honda was totaled a couple of months ago Ryan and Riley Campbell networked with other staff to make sure that the insurance company offer was appropriate. Their offer to help paid off with the settlement amount being raised by another $1,600.00.Ryan researched some well intended but misleading information that my bank had provided and went on to seamlessly coordinate the retiring of the loan on my totaled vehicle (using GAP insurance I had picked up through Lundgren) with the new loan. All done more quickly than my wife and I had expected, especially since they were in the midst of a hectic Presidents Day sale

I walked into Lundgren Honda of Auburn at 330pm where I was approached by Fraser Moss. Right away Fraser made his point that he was there to assist but respected our space. We definitely appreciated how friendly and professional Fraser was; We knew he was a keeper. He answered any questions we had and really help narrow down my choices which were between a civic or accord. I told him what I wanted and what color and he showed me many options! Most dealers have very little inventory but this place has so many options I could not make up my mind at first! Once I picked my car (Honda Accord ExL coupe), Fraser wrapped up the deal between us and his manager within 1 hour. We looked around the lot for 40, min wrapped up the deal in an hour, then it was off to the paperwork. I did not catch the Managers name, he has short brown hair and glasses, but he too was extremely professional and friendly. At this time it was about 530pm Fraser gave us a tour of the building and informed us on their awesome coupon book! We waited about 20 minutes to wrap up the paperwork portion and was out by 730pm!! Furthermore, buying a car is a stressful time but Fraser made the process so easy I could not get over the fact that this buying experience felt genuine. They are fast and friendly and work with integrity! I would recommend this place to anyone!

Bought a used cr-v. Had the car for 3 months just past the warranty, only put 3400 miles on it and the tpms light comes on. Get appointment, wife goes there, they say 125.00 to see if the light is on. Wife say the light is on in the dash, u can see it on, they say 125.00 to see if light is on. Needless to say the light is still on. They don't stand behind there product and just give you the run around. Now its the Takata air bag, and will not be bringing the car to LUNDGREN HONDA OF AUBURN. They lost my business forever.

My 2005 Honda Accord with 252,500 miles was rapidly diagnosed and repaired within 24 hours. The shuttle van brought me back home and picked me up the next day to retrieve my car. My recent service experience was exceptional. Was lucky to get an appt the next day for service on rear door opener switch (an ongoing problem) and it was fixed correctly in a couple of hours. Gail was excellent service advisor who took the time to look up the previous service on this item and it now works perfectly. Gail does an excellent job but I'm sure Lundgren already knows this. I'm hoping this switch lasts more than the previous one(s) on my 2013 CRVAndy

The salesman, Russ, provide extraordinarily goog service. Because we had no transportation to the dealership, he drove us from our house to complete the paper work and then he drove us home. He brought insurance papers to our house when there was a glitch with our insurance agent. He then drove us to pick up our new car. Russ instructions about the car's features were well understandable and he had patience with our questions.My wife is very happy with the new car and the service. I first visited Lundgren in November to see the new 2016 CR-V and to get an idea of the trade-in value of our 2012 CR-V. Unfortunately, I could not return to the dealership before my scheduled 12/1 surgery but did receive follow up emails from both the sales and Internet teams during December. My wife and I returned to Lundgren, on 12/23, took a test drive and finalized the deal all in one trip. We signed all the paperwork and took delivery of our new Honda CR-V 12/28 and everything went as planned and smoothly.Another pleasant and enjoyable vehicle purchasing experience at Lundgren.

I have been having my CRV serviced at Lungren since I bought it there in 2006. Everyone comments that my vehicle is in great shape. Lundgren Honda makes it very easy to schedule and get your car serviced. The on-line scheduling was ver straight forward, and when I drove up the Lundgren, I pull right up the service area and was wavied right in. The service on my Accord included extra time for a factory recall order to reprogram the computer so I was able to get a loaner rather than wait astound for three hours. Very pleased. My service was completed in three hoards and I drove back to Lundgren and picked up my car. My experience with Lundgren service is always very good and I am treated well.

Went to Lundgren to get a sticker for my Honda Civic and have the air pressure checked as the wheel light was on. Mike greeted me and explained that the Massachusetts inspection was down all across the state but would be happy to check the tire pressure. Less than 5 minutes the tire pressure is corrected in all tires and an appointment made for next week plus the car got washed! Thanks Mike for making what could have been a bad situation a nice visit! See you next week.

I found the check engine light on. I called Lundgren and explained the problem to a service tech. I scheduled an appointment. This was not an emergency. I arrived at the scheduled time, was greeted and processed paperwork. I was given an estimate on the length of time and costs. Spent a while in the very comfortable waiting room, enjoying a cup of coffee.My car was ready when promised. The cost was lower than the estimate.MY EXPERIENCE WAS EVERYDAY NORMAL FOR LUNDGREN HONDA.I have been in for regular service, this last visit was more of the same.As I say, OUTSTANDING AND DEPENDABLE.

I went into Lundgren Honda on 11/12/15 and was assisted by Samantha & I was looking for a specific car -Mountain Air LX CRV. I was in need of a reliable vehicle for this New England weather-I was going up from a Saturn(Although if Saturn was stillin business I would have gotten another one since my two prior ones were from them and they lasted a long time).While there was none at the dealership, after I test drove a white one Samantha found one in the system at a different dealer and set in motion to do a swap with that dealer. I heard back on 11/16/15 that there were none of that color available anywhere,but Samantha said they had a 2016 CRV EX in that color that I really wanted. I needed it to be a reasonable monthly price and she talked to others there and they gave a price(which was more than I wished for but I really wanted this color) and I told her I'd be in that night to look at it & low and behold I have a new vehicle which I'm very happy with. Richard was also very helpfulin the finance dept in going over all the paperwork and stuff.

My car had transmission problems while I was visiting in Boston. They could not be better to deal with. Examined the car within 15 minutes, determined the problem, placed the order, gave me a courtosy car to get home (2 hours away) free of charge, fixed my car within 24 hours and all with a smile on their faces and a very positive and energetic attitude.If I was going to buy a new Honda now, I would drive two hours just to get it from them. Must more pleasant to deal with than the local Honda dealership that I have 15 minutes away.Thank you!

It's an absolute pleasure knowing there is a car dealership out there that you can trust. I bought my CRV in 2013 and love it. I go in for routine maintenance which runs smoothly each time. I have had the pleasure of working with Steve, and Kevin, Jenna and Chuck on a phantom problem with my car. They have been very professional, very helpful, and gone out of their way to help me and keep me a happy customer. I would highly suggest if you have a Honda, bring it here! They treat you wonderfully! :-) I drive 50 minutes one way to get my service done here, well worth the drive from anywhere. I also wanted to say the little Cafe they have in the waiting area is genius! So nice to have a sandwich or snack available when you're waiting for your car. I own a 2001 Honda Odyssey and bought the tire for life program, and when I tried to claim new tires,the service manager Stephen Gravel told me that I couldn't, due to the fact that my tires were not rotated every 5 to 7 thousand mile as it was stated on the contract. Now, I have been a loyal customer for approx 10 years and never had an issue until they moved to the new location. My first issue was when I took the ODYSSEY to be aligned and left there with the same issue, but the technician told me that everything was fine a week later I took to the GOODYEAR place in Webster and discover the right side was .23 degrees off. When I spoke to Stephen he told me that the technician was not longer working there. Clearly the alignment wasn't done properly!Another time a technician told my wife that she would not get a sticker without having a list of things repaired such as a timing belt. As far as I know, changing a timing belt has nothing to do with getting a sticker! It seems to me that the bigger they got the less they care about the customer or they are having a hard time maintaining a good costumer service. It seems to be all about the money!! I will Never go back there again...

The service and professionalism at Lundgren Honda was excellent. It was a smooth transition from the beginning. Buying a new car can be stressful and hard- when you are doing it on your own. Hays made sure we had everything we needed and did it in a manner that made us feel like he was equally as invested in the car as us. I just bought a used car at Lundgren. I heard good things so I went. Financially I feel like I was treated well. But I feel a little forgotten about. Maybe it was all misunderstanding but I went to pick up my car and waited for 45 minutes and was told that my salesman wasn't told about me sitting there. Was brought to my car and quickly left alone with it. Still dirty in spots which was disappointing. (Inside cup holders and compartments like that were dusty/dirty). Got home and realized I was never given any of my paperwork about the sale. Had to go back for that. Then never got the coupon book (pretty large deals in it) I was promised to receive upon purchase. Now need to go back for that. Also, I had to cut off the magnet thing on my car because that was never removed and I'm pretty sure it should've been. I like my car, I just feel like I was forgotten about.

Len was very patient as my husband and I considered the option between leasing a Civic or an Accord. I REALLY wanted a red Crosstour, but maybe next time. Ultimately, the Civic won, but in red ( thank you Len!). We closed the show room the other night. Before the deal was finalized, there was a mandatory presentation by the finance guy of a $999 optional "security" plan. The last thing we wanted to see was an opportunity to spend another $999 at 9 PM. Not his fault- Honda or management's procedural decision I think. Otherwise, pretty painless. They generally try hard to make things as easy as possible. There seem to be many people behind the scenes who run around and make things happen like plates and registration the very next day.

I visited this dealership looking to purchase a used car. The dealership being closer to my home then the dealership I have been negotiating with on trading my car was a plus. I meet one of the sale associates by the name of Britany. The associates was rude and unpleasant but I was interested in purchasing a car not socializing. To cut the long story short the financing guys and the associate (Britany) wanted to rip me off. They told me my credit was bad and I was 180 days late on my mortgage. I told the associates my mortgage was not only up to date but was a few months ahead. I have always paid my mortgage a few months ahead because of how I get paid. The associates told me she was not negotiating with me and I should listen to her and shut up. At that point I had enough and stood up. While walking out the door I asked her for her name and told her I will be writing a review about my visit. While all this is was going on I had a loan approval in my car along with my credit report from (Central One Federal Credit Union). I also had another approval from Chase bank. A few minutes after I left the dealership one of the managers called me. He was more concern about why I wanted to write a review on the dealership then what occurred at the dealership. So, he said if you write a review we will write a review about you also, we can play that game. By the way, Mr. Manager this is not a game. I had visited several dealerships prior to coming to Lundgren. I felt that the other dealerships I had visited were not looking out for my best interest. They were pushing cars on me that I didn't want, pushing prices I wasn't interested in. It was very disheartening, to say the least. On a freezing cold night in December, bummed out about my car being totaled, I was car shopping in Auburn, and decided to check out Lundgren Honda. And boy am I glad I decided to go in. Lundgren Honda has been the only place I have either bought cars or had them serviced in the past 15 years and this last time is a prime example of why. I set up an appointment for service with a requested loaner car and was greated by longtime employee Gail Fitzpatrick; she has been there a long time and very knowledgable and friendly. As promised, she called back a few hours later to let me know the recommended service and arrangements were made to take care of that. The loaner car came fully tanked with gas which is nice as I work about 50 miles from the dealership. Upon picking up the car, all the repairs were explained in detail. My last car (CRV) was bought from Lundgren and for 10 years it was only serviced there and when I finally gave it away at 350,000 miles it still had the original engine in it. This car is about 5 years old (Civic) and is close to 170,000 miles and with Gail and her team's attention to detail it too should last to 350,000 miles.

Went into Lundgren on a whim, just to see what the new Accords looked like. Was greeted promptly in the showroom by Mike Gallagher. I had little intention of buying a new vehicle that day..was just curious to see what a new Honda would cost me. Mike was the most professional and courteous guy you could ask for at a car dealership. He wasted no time in asking me what I was interested in. He had a new 2015 Accord pulled to the front of the dealership to test drive in less than 10 minutes of meeting him. Took the car out for a drive and fell in love with it. At one point during the test drive, I think I forgot I was here to buy a car..we ended up chatting it up about the Patriots big wins the last couple weeks. The fact that we carried on a convo about normal things made me much more comfortable, far different than the usual stress inducing process of selecting a car. There was ABSOLUTELY NO PRESSURE from Mike, or from any of the sales managers. Mike asked me what I wanted to pay per month, and he came back within 10 minutes with the EXACT number that I told him I wanted. I spent 1 hour (yes..only 1 hour!) in the dealership and I had a deposit and credit approval on a new 2015 Accord! Came in the next day to finalize all of the financing paperwork with Ryan Campbell. Again, another professional and courteous guy. Answered all my questions promptly and had me out the door with my keys within an hour. Now if you can do simple math, between 2 days I spent a total of 2 hours (maybe less) and I was out the door driving away my new Accord. It was the absolute BEST car buying experience I've ever had. Stress and pain free. If your in the market to buy a new car, GO TO LUNDGREN. Ask for Mike Gallagher and I'm positive he will take care of you! Their internet sales dept. is awful! I called and inquired about a car before I took the afternoon off. I was pouring rain and late afternoon, but I was going to see the car that I had been long searching for. I called once again just to make sure the car was still available. I was assured by the internet dept that it was. I went up, test drove the car, started tye paperwork for the sale, and made plans to come up on Saturday to finalize my purchase. Saturday at noon I recieved a phone call from the sales rep. He said he had bad news; when he looked for the car to get it ready for us, he couldn't find it. Apparently when I went to look at it on Wednesday, it was already sold! I was quite upset at this point and spoke to a "Kristin". I told her I felt the only way that they could make it up to me was to give me 1st chance at the next car that came in that fit my perameters. I've seen a couple cars come on their website but lo and behold; no phone call! So my advice would benif you see a good used car on their website . . . don't bother calling, stay away! Me? I found the car of my dreams a a large NJ dealership where they were so kind and couldn't do enough for me. Not only were they curtious but very quick AND professional.

I have always had a fabulous experience with Lundgren Honda. In the past, with my old '03 Honda, I used to bring it here to Lundgren for service because I didn't have a good experience where I had purchased the car. When it came time to purchase a new car, I visited a few other dealerships first before coming here to Lundgren. I hoped (knew) that this would be my last stop. It was. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted warmly. I didn't feel, at any time, rushed or pressured. The sales people who I worked with took their time with me. No fancy or tricky talk. I purchased a Honda Odyssey from Lundgren in 2009. I found the process painless and the service excellent. For that reason, my wife and I returned to Lundgren to lease a 2014 Honda CRV. The salesman, Bryan, was very friendly and patient. Once again the whole process was flawless. They offered us a fair trade-in on my wife's 2001 vehicle. When I called during the week to inquire about our misplaced title for the car we were tuning in the person I spoke with on the phone was reassuring and friendly. I particularly like Lundgren's new dealership location. Bring the car in for service is painless and efficient. I find it very comfortable to wait in the lounge area. Whether I have work to do or just want to relax, the atmosphere is very conducive for both. Although I have not availed myself of the breakfast and lunch offering available for purchase, I think it is a great idea. I have, however enjoyed the free beverage and snacks that are available. I don't mind going there at all.

Russell Houle is a great person to have in our corner. One of the biggest turn offs when buying a car is having the sense that you're being "sold to"... that the salesperson is more interested in filling his quota than in helping you meet your needs. I probably wasn't the easiest client Russ has worked with, but he was patient and supportive and ultimately helped me find something that fits my driving needs. He's friendly, works hard for you...really hard! (I'm not recommending that you put this to test, but he'll answer your call even on his days off and during odd hours of the day.) Unfortunately, I did not have a pleasant experience at Lundgren Honda. I purchased my 2013 Honda CR-V on July 31st, 2013 and have not yet received my registration or inspection after three weeks. This is only one of many issues I have had. Let me begin by saying I had heard many good things about purchasing a vehicle from Lundgren and was excited about the process, thinking that it would be worry-free and I would be enjoying my new car in no time. When I began to look, I knew the exact model & color I wanted, and I didn't feel like I should compromise when buying my first new vehicle. Unfortunately, they did not have it, but I assumed they would have no trouble finding it, which they agreed and told me they wouldn't. After about a week of looking, they called to tell me that they could not find one anywhere and I would have to change my choice of color & trim. Knowing that I shouldn't sacrifice, I double checked other local Honda dealerships and found the exact vehicle I wanted at another Honda dealership right in Massachusetts. I called Lundgren to inform them of the vehicle, and they were finally able to get it. It's quite unprofessional that I had to find the vehicle, and Lundgren could not - it shows that they are incapable of completing this simple task. That was the first issue. As I mentioned earlier, I have not yet received my registration or inspection sticker. After I was able to pick up my vehicle, I had just assumed that I would be getting my registration in the next few days. After all, car dealerships sell new cars all the time, so shouldn't they be able to complete registry forms and fax information to them in their sleep?! Nope. I spoke with SEVERAL people about not having my registration and many promises have not been fulfilled. Phone calls that I have made are never returned, and no one wants to help me finish this almost month-long process. I would of never guessed that Lundgren would be this unprofessional. This review should be an embarrassment to them, and I plan to go out of my way to share my experience with others, and direct them to another dealership who knows how to do business properly.

For my second oil change appointment I asked to have my 'clattering' exhaust looked at. I went in and waited two hours. I was then given a slip for over $114 and told that not only did they do my oil change they went ahead and did all sorts of services so my oil change total went form $22 to $40. On top of the that they also decided to fix my 'clattering' without my consent and charged me for that as well which came to $70. When i expressed how upset I was about this the service staff Scott just stood there waiting for my payment. Because I had my two year old daughter with me I angrily paid, left and told my husband about my horrible experience. He contacted the manager Rick who told him that he would look into the problem and get back to us. He did and said that because he couldn't find fault with anyone he could offer us a free oil change on the next time in.No fault? How about doing services when they weren't asked and making someone pay for it! Very bad service with an expensive hourly fee $109 per hour. Not worth it. I will take my vehicle somewhere else.

Lundgren Honda would have to make an exceptional effort to provide worse customer service than I have experienced, repeatedly. Once you read this you will probably wonder why I even took my car there the last time - it's because they are the closest dealership and I needed a service that was under warranty. They're so awful they'd almost make me not want to buy another Honda (though I do love Hondas) just so I'd be sure to not have to go there again!Let me first share some of my past experiences with Lundgren before the latest fiasco: - I took my Civic to them a few years back because the backlight of radio/CD display went out. Honda covered it under warranty but Lundgren somehow changed the wrong part, so I drove off in daylight thinking it was fine only to find that night that the original problem had not been fixed! They couldn't see that in their dark garage?! (This was back at the old location). They had zero quality control. - I went through them again when a weird rust spot appeared on an untouched part of the car. Honda again covered it under warranty. Lundgren had me drop my car off at their main dealership (still the old location) in the morning and they were to take it over to their body shop just down Route 20. I called in the afternoon, as they'd instructed because I wanted to get a better idea of how long the job was going to take, and the body shop bluntly told me that they had no idea where my car was. I had to then call the dealership/service folks again and, after some confusion, they found that they'd misfiled some paperwork and just had my car sitting on their lot still. How long would my car have just sat on their lot if I hadn't called?? Then, when I finally got the car back from that minor body work (an extra day late because of aforementioned forgetting of my car), there was white junk all over the interior upholstery and the windows were extremely streaky and filmy on the inside. They hadn't been dirty when I dropped it off. I showed the service manager, who agreed it was awful but was otherwise pretty useless, and ultimately had to drive it back to the body shop on the weekend myself and wait while they cleaned it properly. They completely wasted my time.I'll spare you from a few more, relatively minor situations and get to the big one... - In early November (2012) I took my car to Lundgren (now the new facility) for a potential warranty/recall issue with the wiper motor. I also asked them to take a look because there was a weird sound by one of the wheels. I made an appointment online with the only service person I have found there to be really good (Gail - ask for her if you must go!) and I wrote a detailed description of what I needed. Now, you'd think the online form was used, but none of that but the appointment time itself carried over from the web site, so I had to go through it all from scratch in the morning. I ended up working with Eric, who seemed nice and took down all the details and said he would call me in the afternoon with what they found. I ended up having to call him because it was getting close to the end of business and I'd heard nothing all day. He said the wiper would be covered but for a $50 deductible and they also recommended a transmission fluid change (about $80). The wheel noise was brakes/rotors and I declined to pay $479 for them to do what my husband took care of in less than an hour, in our driveway, with just basic tools, for $60 in parts from the local auto parts store. I digress... So I said to Eric that I'd go forward with the wiper motor and transmission fluid for about $130. I confirmed that I was looking at right about $130 and he said "yes." Fast forward to the bill, for which I gave him my credit card by phone so I could pick up my car after hours - they charged me just shy of $180, about $50 more than agreed! And I'd received no indication whatsoever that it would be any different. I called Eric and he said "oh that's what we talked about" and starts talking about a "shop fee" and a "diagnostic fee" that were _never_ mentioned before. Keep in mind they got an over $400 job from me including what the warranty paid them. Eric proceeded to tell me not to worry, and literally called me "hun," short for honey, because he apparently thought that was an appropriate way to address a female customer. At that point I nearly lost it and ended the conversation quickly. That same day, I happened to receive an automated "Thank you for choosing Lundgren" email from the service manager, Stephen, so I brought the issue to him. He initially handled it rather well and apologized and reviewed the bill and agreed to send a refund for the magically appearing fees and said it'd be in the mail the next day. Two weeks and several additional follow-ups later, I had no refund and had to keep following up, to be told I'll get a response, and then several more days would go by and I'd have to follow up again. This was so absurd, it would have been funny if it weren't a major point of frustration.I did finally get the refund after I wrote and posted this review in December. I seem to have then missed a follow-up email from this site, saying Lundgren had contacted me through it, so they took the review down because I hadn't responded. I found that email today and luckily had saved a copy of my review. It's true and needs to be shared to hopefully save others from the absurdity of Lundgren's incompetence, or at least help you make sure to know what fees will be charged and check your bill carefully.P.S. I didn't buy my car from Lundgren because I saved over $1000 by making a longer trip - worth it for the savings but impractical for regular service. You can get "no haggle pricing" anywhere if you're willing to pay MSRP, or you can put a little effort in and get a much better price elsewhere.

I cannot express how pleased I am with my experience at Lundgren Honda. After contacting them via the internet, I spoke with Lydia Krog to set up an appointment to come in and test drive a CR-V. I knew exactly which car I wanted and they didn't try to steer me in other directions.Upon arriving at the dealership, I was greeted by Carolyn Betty who immediately got things moving and had me on my test drive in what seemed like only a minute or two.When we got back to the dealership, things went quickly and smoothly. I appreciated Tom's honest, low pressure approach. There was no attempt to try and convince me to buy a car with accessories or options I did not really need or want. I had a previous car buying experience when I was much younger & naive at a different dealership where they practically held my keys captive until the sale was completed - there was no attempt at "game playing" here. Very refreshing!I also knew in advance from my on-line research that the prices at Lundgren Honda were fair & competitive. Although they did not have the car I wanted in my favorite color on the lot, they found it in a matter of 2 or 3 days, as promised. Even when I had to bring the car back for installation of an accessory, Tom checked in on me periodically while I waited for the service to be completed to make sure I was kept informed on the status & progress.

Why did I choose Lundgren? I have heard of Lundgren Honda through positive reviews from family and friends. I am also appreciative that Lundgren hires and mentors students from the Automotive Technology program at Worcester Technical High School.I was upside down in the car that I was driving (owe more than it was worth) and really hated the car (Hyundai). I wanted to get out of the Hyundai and into a Honda. I had little to put for a down payment. Len and Christine in sales helped me out and worked numbers to get me financed. There was zero pressure and plenty of free snacks and drinks to stay refreshed (they have a legit cafe). I would highly recommend Lundgren Honda to my family and friends.

We were very happy with the Internet pricing and that's exactly the price we paid when we bought our car. We thought our trade in was worth slightly more, but that, also was non-negotiable. Very happy with the no haggle pricing and the service; though it took longer than we had anticipated to buy the vehicle. We were at the dealership more than 4 hours and we essentially knew exactly what we wanted when we walked in - no "shopping" required. I visited the dealership on a Saturday looking for a good used car. I hated to get a car that would require me to obtain a loan, but I also knew there wasn't much out there thatI was comfortable buying for the cash I had. After browsing through the lot, I met Tom and he spent quite a bit of time with me reviewing inventory and the payment options for each vehicle. Tom listened to my concerns, assessed my needs, and was able to offer me a few cars that suited. We went on a couple of test drives and when I narrowed my choice down to one, Tom walked methrough the next steps and the credit process. I left with a much more comfortable feeling about buying a used car than I had come in with.When I decided to go for it, I contacted Tom and he put the rest in motion. It was very easy to buy a car from Lundgren Honda. They give you their lowest price right up front and also offer an additional 1 year warranty at no extra charge. Their service area is nothing short of exceptional and there is even a little cafe inside if you want to buy snacks, drinks, etc while you want for your vehicle to be serviced. I have purchased from or visited many dealers over the years - Lundrgren is without a doubt the very best. Customer service is obviously very important - they will go out of their way to make you happy. Prices are very fair - no haggle needed. Service dept is excellent. For example, the are the only place in central Mass who will store snow tires for you, and they do it FREE! The new facility is beautiful, with free food, internet, TVs, kids play area. Free loaners or will pick you up/drop off. I have been a loyal satisfied customer for 13 years ( 2 Odysseys and about to purchase 2nd Pilot) - i don't even bother to check out other Honda dealers

I was quoted a price and was told meeting it wouldn't be an issue and I should leave a deposit and it would all be sorted out on Monday, it was on a Saturday. Come Monday the price went up substantially and I was told it was still in the same neighborhood and I should be happy with it. Needless to say I walked away from the deal. Eventually the dealer came back with a lower interest rate. In the end I am happy to be ending up with the vehicle but disappointed it couldn't be done right the first time around. The no haggle pricing model might appeal to some buyers but to me having zero flexibility with it is not a good thing. Greg from Finance was great to work with. The new salesman Scott was also extremely helpful and I would highly recommend seeking him out if you are looking to buy from this dealership. Update:I finally get the car and it fails inspection. I had it inspected at the dealer and was told that one of the codes was a result of the vehicle needing to be jump started at some point and that I need to drive it around for a few weeks in order for it to reset. No apology was offered to me the service person acted like it was completely normal and not a big deal. For the amount of money I spent on this vehicle it should have been all set to go. Needless to say I am not pleased. Service after the sale seems to be lacking unless you purchased a new car from them.

Dear Lundgren HonaMy wife recently accepted a position for a acompany that requires her to do travel to "storm centers" during inclement weather conditians.After this winter's heavy snow ammounts, an AWD vehicle became an obvious choice. We were looking for a vehicle that was cost effective, reliable, fun to drive and had had nice stying. Lundren Honda wasn't our first stop, but after visiting auto dealers, it was a breath of fresh air as we entered your show room.We were greeted by Gil, a new salesperson at Lundgren. He offered us refreshments and asked us how he could be of service. We explained our preferences - a CRV EX L with Navigation. We discussed lease vs buy options and very much appreciated the fact that you had the no hassle prices listed with all the avialable options.We asked if a test drive would be possible, which he immediately arranged. The test drive was great and Gil professionally explained many of the options included in our package. When we returned I asked him about trade in pricing, and additional options. As he went off to consult with the finance manager, I asked my wife how she felt about the experience so far. She and I both agreed Gil was sincere, honest and satisfying our needs was his top priority. This was an amazing difference after being qualified with other auto dealers.After a tour of your new facility a few things became apparent. You know service is your main business in that your new facility has customer satisfaction is your main focus. The refreshment area, the children's area, the office area with free w-fi, you ultra clean service area and a caring staff were obvious, and much appreciated.Gil returned with our trade value and pricing for the additional options we wanted. He and the finance person explained how they arrived at the numbers. Prior to entering into an agreement to purchase a Honda Pilot, I inquired as to the time-frame required for an out-of-state registration. The response from the dealership was that the "worst-case-scenario" was the upcoming Thursday. Here I am now, 17 days after that conversation, paying interest on my new car and have yet to be able to drive it off the lot. Granted the dealer is having issues with a vendor, but they are passing that issue onto me and the cost of the financing of the vehicle. VERY POOR business practice and I warn anyone dealing with this establishment they ARE NOT AS GOOD AS THEIR WORD! I am a local professional myself and would typically not take to the internet to write something like this. I had never visited Lundgren before. I have owned several Hondas over the years and my 2011 CRV was due for an oil change. I found Lundgrens website and saw that they had an express oil change bay that did not require an appointment. I pulled off the Mass Pike at 11:35, followed the simple directions to the place and arrived at their sparkling dealership at 11:45. I pulled up to the automatic doors to the express lanes which opened immediately and entered their brand new state of the art service dept. I was met by Melody Socia at 11:50 who was pleasant, knowledgeable and efficient. She listened to my needs, made some recommendations and wrote a repair order for an oil change and tire rotation. She escorted me to the customer lounge, gave me a tour and went back to her duties. From the plush waiting area I watched the techs change my oil, pull the car forward and rotate the tires. At 12:08 the CRV was pulled up directly in front of the door I was sitting at. Melody explained that they had also done an inspection on my vehicle. She gave me the brake measurements, the tire measurements and informed me my battery was fine. In addition to the inspection, oil change and tire rotation they topped off all my fluids and reset the maintenance reminder. I paid her directly, got into my CRV and drove off a happy camper. This experience took 33 minutes from the time I pulled off the Pike and 18 minutes from the time I pulled in to their service area. I was so impressed with my treatment that I will give them first shot when my lease comes due this July.

My experience with Lundgren Honda was the return of a leased vehicle following my brother's rather sudden death. I had heard/read many horror stories about interrupted leases and penalties to the estate of the leasor or other blood relatives. A phone call to Aaron Lathrop at Lundgren Honda in Auburn put my fears to rest. Aaron's clear explanation of the liabilities with a lease brought me great peace of mind at a very tense time. Aaron continued to guide me through the process,actually facilitating my phone conversation with the inspecting company and remaining on the line while I completed that piece of the transaction. The entire process was completed successfully yesterday -- and, rightly so, the person who assisted me at the deaership was....right! Aaron Lathrop accepted the vehicle and provided me with even more information about returning out of state plates and registration, and notification of the insurance company. Additionally, I must add that in several calls to the dealership I was assisted by a number of telephone personnel -- very polite and quite competent. It is an excellent dealership with respect to personnel, and quite impressive in its new location.

My wife and I drove for almost 100 miles to purchase a 2006 Honda odyssey which we saw online. We called the dealership prior our departure, and the lady by the name "Lydia" after checking told us the vehicle was still available and we can drive to Auburn. Upon our arrival, the sales lady (another person) came to us and we submitted to her our pre-printed papers of the vehicle we liked. She told us to follow her in the lot and after fifteen minutes or so of looking, and asking others she came and told us that she was sorry but the vehicle was sold the day before, but we can look for "other odyssey's" in the lot.We could not believe the level of low quality professionalism to this dealership. We called the CEO of the company to complain, but until today we never heard from him and the ironic thing is, the vehicle is still listed as available on cars.com as of today! What a dealership...

What a HORRIBLE experience I've had with this dealership. This happened to me TWICE. Frist, was 2 weeks ago when my wife inquired about a vehicle for sale online. We scheduled an appointment for the following morning. That night the vehicle was sold to another couple which is fine. HOWEVER, we never received a phone call or email letting us know this vehicle was no longer available. We drove 80 miles each way to find out the car was sold and Kayla said she forgot to call us. TERRIBLE...Now, 2 weeks later we see another car online that we're interested in so we call ahead and let them know we will be there in within an hour and a half. We were told they will pull the car out front for us and have it ready. Perfect!!! Well, we drive another 80 miles each way to find out the car isn't to be found. After some investigation they determine that their appraiser took it home. We explained this was the 2nd time this happened and would appreciate the appraiser bringing the car back. They said this won't happen and there was nothing they could do. We explained our displeasure and would NEVER give this dealer a 3rd chance. It's amazing how a dealership this large can have such HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. All in all we ended up driving 320 miles for ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!! The Internet Sales dept. is hands down the MOST IMPORTANT aspect of a dealership YET Lundgren Honda doesn't see the value of following thru with potential customers.

I went to Herb Chambers for an appointment I had set up for a trade in evaluation. They left me waiting for a half hour so I left and went down to Lundgren Honda on my way home. When I walked in I was immediately greeted by Noah Sands. I was upfront with Noah and told him my time was valuable and I knew what I wanted. I wanted the numbers and wanted to see if the numbers I had in my mind could be matched. The provided me with the figures and they were spot on! There was no going back and forth for a "better" deal. They treated me with respect. Noah even went as far as to grab me a water and a few snacks while I waited. This is the second car I have purchased from Lundgren. My first stop will be Lundgren Honda from now on!

I had an incredibly positive buying experience at Lundgren Honda.I initially was inquiring about the purchase of a new 2012 Honda Civic when Lydia Krog made me aware of a used one that they just received that had only 2,400 miles on it. Initially I was hesitant, but then I realized that it was still a new vehicle, and it had nothing wrong with it. The reason why the previous owner traded it in was because it was just to small to fit the owners needs. Also, the price was substantially less than a new Civic.I met with Dustin Johnson the following day and from that moment on I knew that this was going to be a pleasant purchasing experience. Dustin was very attentive to my concerns and was also extremely knowledgable about the Civic. I had researched the car prior to meeting with him and he pointed out many of the safety features as well as many of the other bells and whistles that come with the car. Also, at no point in time, did he make me feel pressured into making this purchase at all.Dustin would give me periodic follow ups (on his own time, I might add) on how things were going on the Lundgren end of things so I could pick up the car on the day that I was hoping to get it.A pleasant over all purchasing experience. The Civic is awesome and I wouldn't hesitate to go to Lundgren in the future to buy another car.
