Love my new Jeep!

Working with Labrone from Louisville CDJR was a wonderful experience. Since I am from out of town, I wanted to understand the numbers of purchasing a new vehicle from them before making the 2 hour drive to Louisville. Labrone walked me through the numbers from start to finish and took time out of his day to answer all my silly questions. When I arrived, there were no surprises. Everyone at the dealership was very professional and helpful, I would highly recommend them for your next used or new car purchase.

2008 Ford Explorer

Greg Brinley was a great sales representative, along with their sales manager Will that got my family into a new used 08 explorer. The explorer was a fresh trade in over the weekend and upon taking it for a test drive we found some small problems that needed to be addressed before any negotiations would take place. The explorer had some brake issues along with a bad latch and they were able to fix the problems in a timely fashion. Upon a another test drive my family was satisfied with their service work. They worked with us on the price and got us the deal we were wanted to take the explorer home. I would definitely recommend going in and talking with both Greg and Will; they will get you into the car you want.

Poor service

The service department need to work on costumer satisfaction, had my vehicle worked on never received a curtesy call to let me know my vehicle was ready every time I called the service department I never got a answer I had to personally drive to the dealership to ask if my vehicle was ready

car buying made easy

I was excited to be given the opportunity to receive a new car and but dreaded going car shopping. This dealership made everything so easy and smooth. Cary was on top of his game, answered every question I had before I could ask it. The whole business office did everything they could to set up the best payment plan and price for us possible. So thankful I got my car from here, such a great experience and I love my new car.

Bait & Switch

Bait and Switch operation. Went to Sam Swope because they had a mini-van listed at $3782. Liked it but it ran a little rough so we had a mechanic look at it and point out problems. Went back to negotiate and they told us that $3782 is the INTERNET price, not the actual CAR LOT STICKER PRICE. What? The car lot sticker price was $5200. So they start our negotiations with "you already got a deal" off the "sticker price." Then they bump you back to the sticker price with a $500 "car prep fee" and a $400 "processing fee". What? We were not even getting a loan, it was to be a cash deal.....so we asked what is a processing fee and he said it was for "the guys upstairs" that process the deals. $400 to take our cash and for us to fill out a form to register the car?? So then our salesman puts a piece of paper in front of us & tells us to put our offer, so I put $3000 cash. He takes it back to "the wizard behind the curtain" and comes back with "$4400 bottom line but thank you for your offer" written on it. I just picked up my purse and started to walk out and Bridgette came out and said "they had too much money sunk into the car" to accept any lower. BAIT & SWITCH....I don't like it! RUDE negotiations with a piece of paper being handed to you and going to someone you can't see or talk to.

2012 jeep grand cherokee overland

Service was quick atnd friendly bought jeep in less then 2 hours. Dash had defects and dealer agree to fix without argument. Hopefully this jeep will last.

Typical 'pressure car sales' was non-existent!

Denny Onstott did a tremendous job assisting me, from the time I walked on their lot. He was respectful of my time, listened to what I needed and did what he said. Bridgett Taylor also was more than fair on my trade-in, giving me what I needed to get the job done. I now have the vehicle I've ALWAYS wanted! It took me over 53 years, but I finally have a brand new vehicle. My black Dodge 3500 diesel dually is, as my wife says, a 'mans truck' that is beautiful enough for her to be seen in it! It's absolutely gorgeous!! I came in for a used 3500, but Denny showed me how I could get a brand new truck for nearly the price of a used truck. I bought the truck without even needing to test drive it!

Could not have went any better

I came looking for a Dart and Denny was able to point me in the right direction along with showing me other choices. It seemed like he really knew my price range and did not try to hassle me with anything out of that price range. I was treated with courtesy and respect. The price was considerably better than at other dealerships I checked with. The deal was made over the phone. When I drove approximately 90 miles, I found everything as quoted over the phone with one exception. Because of changes in rebates / dealer incentivesthat I was unaware of, the cost to me was substantially less than I expected. WOW!

Great buying experience

I had been looking for a specific car for a few months and finally found it online. When I called the dealership, I spoke with Cary Luker and he was very helpful throughout the entire process. The dealership is a couple of hours away so we were able to pay a deposit which allowed us to get our financing in order and a week later, we picked the car up. Cary worked with us by phone and got us all needed paperwork quickly and answered any and all questions. We spent less than an hour at the dealership signing the necessary forms. It was the easiest buying experience ever. We love our car!

Pleasant experience!

I was dreading the process of buying a vehicle, but from the time I arrived on the lot Damien Phillips was on the job. I told him which two vehicles I was interested in, I test drove both. He was a complete professional throughout the process and I never felt any pressure. He answered my questions and handled the purchase process quickly and efficiently. The deal got done

I had sent out a feeler on line and Mark had contacted me. Was looking for a pretty new reliable van within my budget. Visited the dealership the next day, found they had sold the van I really wanted but had another on site that would suit me. Came back a little later to look at the other vehicle. We finally were able to come to terms within my budget at the very last minute. It was a very good experience. Mark was fantastic to work with and very understanding. In the end, I had a vehicle within 24 hours, reliable vehicle, payment within my budget, and a new dealership that I will go to next time I need a vehicle. About two days ago I had a very bad experience with the current vehicle I had. I decided it was time for a newer car. My sales person Mark Mason was very helpful.I told him my budget an he printed out a list of cars that were at or very near that price.He did not pressure me to increase my budget. He helped me by calaculating my payments without running a credit report. He answered all my questions ,more importantly when he wasn't sure he went and asked. After buying the car he had me bring it back the next dayy for more detailing and gas!!

I've Been Here HOW Long???

Greg Brinley helped me make my car purchase. He was knowledgeable without being pushy. Having arrived knowing the car I wanted, the color, the "extras", etc. and even the price range, and stating within 30 minutes "lets go in and talk price", I was antsy and exhausted at the end of the 5 hour ordeal.

They sold me a different car. Dishonesty at its finest.

In order to make a quick sale, this dealership found me a vehicle at another location and would have it brought to Sam Swope Dixie location. I put a deposit on the vehicle that was discussed. The vehicle arrived a short time later and I picked it up. When I got home I noticed some things that didn't seem right. When I questioned the sales person, Jessica Stevenson, she spoke down to me. She did state that my vehicle had been sold already, but that she was able to find one and had to have some things added so it would be comparable. When I continued to question these items that were snuck in, I was again belittled and basically told that all had been done correctly. Oh, but It had not, only half of the option package I though I was getting was added, and lets not forget I was never informed I was sold a different car. I took my extreme frusteration to the GM Bradley Kendall (who was very nice) offered to fix the car, or buy it back. After giving it a day to think I allowed the dealer to fix it, and said they should reimburse me for the option (which I now wish I had made them get me the actual car I purchased). But it took quite a while to get the GM to call back. I even went so far as to locate his boss, Cary Donovan, and email him my frustration... but I haven't heard anything. I was also promised that I would not be contacted by my origional Sales person, Jessica (the origional deceiver), but as it just so happens, the GM did not speak to her. She called me having no idea there was an issue. I guess that Sam Swope is completely fine with dishonesty and this is how they do business. So here I am a broke single mom with a brand new car.. that has after market parts, and the entire engine has ben removed and changed in order to make it a car I had been promised ..... Completely disgusted and frustrated. A zero rating isnt low enough.

I first met Mr. Mason in the service department he was personable, and knowledgeable. He stood behind his promises. Scope automotive has great asset inMr.Mason, I was waiting on them finishing my oil change and decided to walk around the yard . Mark asked me if I was looking for something in particular. I told him I wanted to downsize from the Durango. We started talking about cars and he mentioned the 200 . I must say that Mark is a great salesperson. He never pressured me and even went to another lot to get the car for me to see. Mark worked up the numbers and we came to a consensus that the 200 was for me . My experience at Swope was very pleasant and hassle free . My sales person and the finance guy (Duncan Riddle) were a breath of fresh air Because of my Mason's care and attention . Sam Swope Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram on Dixie Hwy has the best prices and the harder to find vehicles. I've been looking for a particular vehicle with certain features and they were the only one in town that had what i was looking for. In fact they were the only to have the vehicle my brother was looking for too. Yep both my brother and I went to Sam Swope to just look at the vehicles we were interested in. In the end we both drove away in our new cars. But that could not have been possible if it wasn't for Mark Mason and Greg Briney. At no time did we feel pressured. Mark was very professional from the beginning. I have not had the pleasure in meeting Greg in person but I have corresponded with him in email and he has always been there to answer all my questions. We purchased a used 2010 Chrysler Town and Country Van on 8/19/15 that we found on the Sam Swope internet listing. Greg Brinley was our awesome and wonderful salesman. Couldn't have been better!

My original contact and all agreements were made with Jeremiah over the phone since we live in AL. They found the truck I wanted in another state and brought it in for me. We came into the dealership on Sunday just to look at it, and Since Jeremiah wasn't there, Damien helped us by showing us the truck. He spent time showing us the truck and answering every question we had even though he had not been the one we originally worked with. He went out of his way to be helpful. The next day when we arrived to pick up the truck, Damien did handle all the paperwork, programmed both our phones to the Uconnect, programmed our key fobs, and again answered any further questions we had. Our New Car Experience !!

We purchased a new Jeep Patriot on Saturday 8/15/15. It was truly a wonderful experience. Our salesman was Mark Mason and he went above and beyond as we bought our second brand NEW CAR in our 35 years of marriage! Mark was so awesome and did not pressure us and was very attentive to our questions and needs. My husband wasn't feeling well, Mark helped get him indoors and made sure he was okay before we went any further with the sale. He had the Jeep moved into the garage so my husband could look at the car out of the heat and then he would not need to walk so far to do a test drive. Mark was so courteous, we cannot get over truly how great everything went. We had some questions after we purchased the vehicle so my husband dropped in the next day and Mark answered our questions. Great Car Buying Experience

I purchased a 2015 Jeep Wrangler on 23 July, 2015. The entire experience was hassle free. I originally had come in on July 4 and ordered a Jeep Renegade. I dealt with Damien Phillips as my Salesperson and Dave Richie was the manager who found the vehicle for me and was working on getting it shipped in. During that visit, I was impressed by both people. Mr. Phillips was patient as I looked at several different vehicles and finally selected the Renegade, while Mr. Richie was the first person out of a few dealerships who actually found the exact vehicle I wanted. During the next two weeks, both Mr. Phillips and Mr. Richie kept me informed on the status of my vehicle. After the vehicle was delayed, I went into the dealership on 23 July in order to test drive a Renegade and a Wrangler to complete my buying research. The Salesperson I had, Chris Kerfoot, was very kind and patient as well while we drove the vehicles and even looked at a Cherokee. As I was mulling over my decision to wait on the Renegade or go with a Wrangler, I spoke to Jeremiah Six, the General Sales Manager, and he and Mr. Richie continued to answer my questions and make me feel at ease. I eventually decided on the Jeep Wrangler and dealt with Duncan Riddle to go over the financing piece. He was fantastic and the process was quick and painless. The end result, I walked out of the dealership in a good mood with a new vehicle. I would highly recommend Sam Swope Jeep to anyone looking to buy a car. In dealing with past car purchases in other cities and dealerships, I've dealt with pushy staff who were high pressured to make a sale and I had no issues with walking out of a dealership in the middle of the process. I did not feel this attitude during either visit I made. Instead, I found everyone from the Sales people to the management friendly, courteous, patient, and there to answer questions. Buying a car often feels adversarial and stressful and I did not feel this way. I appreciate that everyone I dealt with spoke with honesty and candor in addressing all of my questions. This experience is how buying a car should be.

My experience was perfection from beginning to end. I was hesitant to look for a car because I hate the idea of being pressured, but to my surprise I was not pressured at all. And Jessica was the perfect match for me, as far as a sales person that was extremely knowledgeable, after she first entirely listened and took in my wants and needs. Someone that listens is extremely important obviously. She let me test drive the vehicle..and let me drive all of the way across town to visit my husband, as he had to work that day and couldn't come with me for this important decision. Posted a review once on this trade but it seems to have been deleted, so here I go again.Traded my 2006 pickup with 31,000 miles for a $5,000 2003 Jeep Liberty with 112,000 miles. Even trade, $0 out of pocket. Not a sound financial trade, but I got what I wanted and got rid of a vehicle that I no longer needed. Mark was good to deal with and we both walked away happy.

We gave an excellent rating because Greg Brinley was very welcoming and enthusiastic when we walked into the dealership, although he wasn't expecting us. He was efficient in answering all of our questions and listened to all of our concerns. He was thorough by filling out all of the paperwork and even detailing our car for us because the detail shop was backed up and he didn't want us to be inconvenienced by having to wait. Best Sales Staff Ever!!

After a bad experience at Cross Chrysler Jeep my husband and I went to by Sam Swope on Dixie Hwy. We met salesman Bobby Evans and sales mgr Jeremiah Six. Since Sam Swope was unable to locate an exact match to what I wanted, they ordered the car for me (do you even know how special that makes you feel?) Just bought my first Jeep!

I purchased a new 2015 Jeep Wrangler on 3-30-15 from Sam Swope CDJR and I couldn't be happier. Everything from start to finish was fantastic! The demo was great; Mark Mason was my salesperson and he did a wonderful job of showing me how to operate the soft top. (I've never owned a Jeep so I was pretty apprehensive about doing that on my own.) The negotiation was simple. They gave me a great price on my trade and the purchase was seamless. When I went to finance, everything was already prepared. (I don't have much spare time so I pre-scheduled the appt for paperwork which made it very easy to get in and out quickly.) I bought the Xzilon paint protectant. The guy who cleaned my car and applied it, (can't remember his name) was so nice. He did a great job and I felt like he took care of my Jeep like it was his own. I've gone back to buy the Jeep seat covers. Those really fit well and protect my seats from dog hair and stains.Overall, a FABULOUS experience and I'd highly recommend this store & this staff to anyone in the market for a vehicle!!

Best Car Buying Experience Ever!

We had just left the car lot of a Louisville Jeep competitor of yours. Totally bad experience.Thought we would at least give it one more try, knowing Swope had more inventory, and at least we could see the Jeep Grand Cherokee of my desires. My expectation was to check this Jeep off my checklist, and go by a Buick elsewhere. Damien met us at our car door on the cold & snow covered day. Huge smile. Very warm, engaging and friendly. At his desk he skillfully, without pressing, explored our desires and suggested a test drive of 2 vehicles in stock. The first car, which had six inches of snow on it, was snow swept, washed, and driven to the service area for our viewing & start of the test drive. I loved the car, and Damien recognized that. He also knew I felt it had too many bells & whistles & a bit too pricy. We drove to an off sight lot, where Damien personal blushed the snow off and warmed the car up, as we sat warmly in the first car. My wife & I like everything about this car, except the black interior. We drove back to the office, negotiated a fair price, and even found a car in Cincy with our preferred tan interior. Damien the whole time was knowledgible, flexible, and very customer centric. Our new car was delivered 2 days later.We are totally pleased with the car & the buying experience. I would highly recommend Damien to anyone buying a car. I never thought I would say buying a car was fun...but this one was!

I drove from Owensboro, Kentucky to the Sam Swope Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram dealership on Dixie Highway to look at a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee advertised on their website. This was my first time at a Sam Swope dealership. My overall experience was excellent. My salesperson, Ronnie Turner, was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. The sales manager and finance officer were also great. I believe I received a very fair deal on my trade-in vehicle. The new Jeep Grand Cherokee was also competitively priced. I would definitely recommend this dealership to my friends and family.

This was our first time purchasing a vehicle from Sam Swope. The employees at the Dixie Hwy location were friendly, engaging, and most importantly listened to our needs and answered questions without being overbearing. The completion of the deal from beginning to end was completed relatively quickly and we love our new Jeep.

Competitive dealer that ensured I got an acceptable price

I was going to by a Caravan from a different dealer, however due to competitive deals. Sam Swope was able to get the the best deal on a new car. This saved me over a $1000. I also appreciated that the dealer did not employ aggressive sales tactics, they were only aggressive on ensuring that I got the best deal.

Second but not last car bought from Sam Swope!

Worked with the manager Bradley Kindoll over the phone multiple times before purchasing the vehicle and it was a fantastic experience. Never felt like I was a customer, always felt like friends. Once i finally came in I dealt with Greg Brinley as my salesperson and he was also great to deal with and very professional. The finance guy (sorry i do not remember his name) was equally as fantastic and got my wife and I in and out fast. Greg Brinley needs a bigger office!!

Stopped in to view a newly listed 2011 Dodge Ram. I was greeted by Greg and appreciated the laid back approach. There was no up front pressure and iIwas able to look the vehicle over on my terms. The thing I hate most about car dealers is they always want to sell by " what do you want your payments to be?" I didn't find that approach here and it was refreshing. I was offered a fair price for my trade based on my prior research on KBB. Greg presented the deal with all the numbers laid out with a final price before we even talked about financing. I knew where stood going in. I was able to find a better finance rate on my own but with a small deposit the truck was held until I got my check from USAA. Delivery of my truck went smooth and I am well pleased with my experience. If you're looking for your next vehicle at Sam Swope Chrysler/Dodge, ask for Greg Brinley.

We were skeptical going in because of our last car buying experience but it didn't take us long to realize that our sales person was different. 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee

After reading a number of car reviews on different SUVs, I decided to look and test drive a new Jeep Grand Cherokee. I searched several dealer websites around the area and found one to test drive. My wife and I were greeted by Greg Brinley after making an appointment. We found Greg easy to converse with and this allowed us close a deal in a timely manner. My wife and greatly appreciated the treatment we received.

Wonderful Experience Buying a 2014 Dodge Charger

Really was impressed. The vehicle I wanted was not available in the local area, so they went out and brought it in from an out of town dealership. No extra charges, and did it promptly. They thoroughly explained all the issues of a new car purchase, warranties, etc. and answered all my questions. Even went into the electronics of the vehicle and made sure all items were working correctly. The price was excellent and they provided a sales contract that matched my desired personal payment plan. They also even connected me with a technician to apply graphics to my new Charger. I could not have been happier with my experience at Sam Swope Dodge on Dixie Hwy!

2015 Chrysler 200S

Not everybody saves

Went to buy a truck from Sam swope had the money in hand and they wouldn't knock $1000 dollars off the price of the truck. So if you want to pay sticker price go there. Not everybody saves.

Worst experience ever

I am not sure how this car lot gets such good reviews unless they are writing their own reviews. They only filled the gas tank up half way on the car I purchased. Then it took them 23 days to pay off my trade in which caused problems with my bank and probably my credit score. Now 6 weeks after buying it they are telling me they need me to get my car inspected because the title was out of state. So I guesss they didn't own the car when I bought it. STAY AWAY from these people.

Greg Brinley got me in the car I've always wanted!

I was in the market for a new vehicle. At the time, I had a Toyota Tundra and a BMW that just were not working out for me and my family (5 of us total). I wanted to trade them in for a Jeep Trailhawk. Greg worked with me to get the car I wanted.... FAST!He worked with me on customizing, getting the payment right, and helping me swap out the cars so I didn't have to truck my wife and kids all around. He was very accommodating to my needs, which made for one of the smoothest car purchases I have ever encountered.I'm in love with the vehicle, and so is my family.
