Really very happy with this purchase experience, our 4th vehicle since 2007. Was interested in downsizing to a single vehicle, with a lease expiring next month, so decided it was time to take a look. Looked online at the inventory and found a few possibilities. Went down on a Friday afternoon and spoke with Rudy who had left us messages about the lease. Arranged to come in on Saturday to have the trade in evaluated, got the paperwork started, came back later that afternoon and drove home in the 2017 Equinox. Couldn't have simpler or easier. First time car buyer experience
I bought a 2012 Subaru Outback this week and was very impressed with the efficiency and process knowledge of the sales and finance team. Even with the finance manager out of office, they had another office draft all the loan paperwork and deliver it before I got to the dealership to test drive the car. Jason made the process and paperwork very easy and fast while explaining everything quite well and answering several follow up questions I had over the next few days. I own a 07 GMC sierra 2500hd. Had a problem with climate controls. Have taken it to a GMC dealer in Watertown, Ct, wont say the name. They had my truck for two weeks, did not fix it and wanted to charge $575 . Loehmann-Blasius Chevrolet had my truck for thee days, diagnosed and fixed the problem for much less. Out of State Purchase - Not Recomended
I recently bought a 2013 Lexus ES300h from Blasius Chevrolet & Cadillac. The dealership had taken the car in on a trade. I live in Western NY, six hours away from the dealership. I agreed to purchase the vehicle over the phone and took a one-way flight out to Connecticut to close the deal and drive the car back home. The sales lady told me numerous times on the phone that the car was put through both their mechanical and doll-up shops and that it was in immaculate condition.Upon arrival, the sales lady did a walk around the car with me. Once again she raved about the pristine condition of the car. I did not notice any major issues with the exterior of the car and the sales lady did not point out any known flaws as well. I went inside and signed the necessary paperwork with the Business Manager, Gary. Gary was both direct and harsh. He rushed me through things. Each time I asked a question, I felt belittled. At one point during our time together, Gary told me that if I had any problems with the car that I would be better served to use the remainder of the manufacturers warranty than to use the dealership to honor their 60 day state mandated warranty. With the paper work completed, I was turned back over to the sales lady and she and I walked back out to the car. The sales lady reached into the car to remove the paper floor mats in the front of the car as a courtesy. When she pulled the drivers side paper floor mat out it became apparent that the custom front drivers side Lexus floor mat was missing from the vehicle. When I asked where it was and what could be done, I was told I could do a search on Ebay. I drove home that evening non-stop to my driveway in Rochester, NY. The next morning I went out to my driveway and noticed that the lower level of the passenger side rear quarter panel had a dig in the body about two inches in length near where the upper and lower panels meet. At the dealership, the car had been parked where there was heavy parking lot traffic. In between the time I signed the purchase documents and the time I went back out to the car, someone or something had passed by the car and left a two inch scape on the rear fender.I notified the dealership that same morning to see what could be done rectify this issue. I sent photos and a summary of the timing of events. After two plus weeks of phone calls, voice mails and messages left with the receptionist, no return calls. Meanwhile, I received no less than four automated emails from various parties from the dealership; including one of the owners, named Fritz, stating that if I was at all dissatisfied with any part of my experience with the dealership to call him personally. Finally, I got a return call from a John Kelly 16 days after the sale. Mr. Kelly told me that they would not do anything for me to correct this issue. When I asked if it would be possible to touch base with their doll up guys to see if the missing floor mat had been misplaced at the shop, he said he would get back to me with an update on both subjects. It has already been several days since my last communication with him and I have not heard back nor do I expect to hear back given the tone John expressed during my discussion with him. I am now faced with a $690.00 for a body repair bill and a $150.00 for the custom floor mats. This is for a car that I paid $23,000.00 for. Other out of state dealers have treated me far better in the past and I would highly recommend shopping around before purchasing a car from Blasius Chevrolet & Cadillac.

The sales lady told me numerous times on the phone that the car was put through both their mechanical and doll-up shops and that it was in immaculate condition.I agreed to pay the dealers price for the vehicle, and they agreed to waive the out of state registration fee setup of $395.00. While the price of the car was competitive, the vehicle lacked a few key features found on most other Lexus ES300h models on the market. With that being said, the purchase price of the vehicle represented fair market value but I would not characterize the offered price as an exceptional deal.Upon arrival, the sales lady did a walk around the car with me. Once again she raved about the pristine condition of the car. I did not notice any major issues with the exterior of the car and the sales lady did not point out any known flaws as well. There was a conscious effort on her part to get me on the road as quickly as possible given the long drive I had ahead of me. I went inside and signed the necessary paperwork with the Business Manager, Gary. Gary was both direct and harsh with his approach to finish the necessary paperwork; making no attempt to smile during the process. I was not comfortable at all with Garys mannerisms and he rushed me through things. Each time I asked a question, I felt belittled and was made to feel stupid for asking the question. At one point during our time together, Gary told me that if I had any problems with the car that I would be better served to use the remainder of the manufacturers warranty than to use the dealership to honor their 60 day state mandated warranty. He went on to state that Connecticuts laws were nothing like the NY State lemon laws and that if I reported any problems they would have to be repetitive or major failures for them to honor the required warranty. With the paper work completed, I was turned back over to the sales lady and she and I walked back out to the car. The sales lady reached into the car to remove the paper floor mats in the front of the car as a courtesy. When she pulled the drivers side paper floor mat out it became apparent that the custom front drivers side Lexus floor mat was missing from the vehicle. When I asked where it was and what could be done, I was told I could do a search on Ebay to look for a deal. At this point, I was lost for words and elected not to argue about it, much to my chagrin. I drove home that evening non-stop to my driveway in Rochester, NY. At the dealership, the car had been parked at the end of a row where there was heavy parking lot traffic. An independent assessment from Spencer Collision in Rochester NY confirmed that the damage was consistent with my prior statement.I notified the dealership that same morning to see what could be done rectify this issue. I sent photos and a summary of the timing of events. After two plus weeks of phone calls, voice mails and messages left with the receptionist I did not receive a return call. Meanwhile, I received no less than four automated emails from various parties from the dealership; including one of the owners, named Fritz, stating that if I was at all dissatisfied with any part of my experience with the dealership to call him personally. I wanted to voice my displeasure with the treatment I had received and with the condition of the vehicle. I called Fritz numerous times to no avail. Finally, I got a return call from a John Kelly 16 days after the sale. He informed me that he was representing Fritz. Mr. Kelly told me that they would not do anything for me to correct this issue and that he thought I had already been informed of the fact. I let him know that I hadnt heard anything from anyone up to that point in time. I was given no explanation, no apology, not even a discussion pertaining to why the dealership refused to assist with the issue. When I asked if it would be possible to touch base with their doll up guys to see if the missing floor mat had been misplaced at the shop, he said he would get back to me with an update on both subjects. It has already been several days since my last communication with him and I have not heard back nor do I expect to hear back given the tone John expressed during my discussion with him.I feel that the dealership, at a minimum, knew that the floor mat was missing and tried to cover it up by using the paper floor mats. The way that the dealership handled the situation was both inappropriate and unprofessional. Now I am faced with a $690.00 for a body shop repair bill and another $150.00 for the custom floor mats since they can only be purchased in sets of four. This is for a car that I paid $23,000.00 for. Other out of state dealers have treated me far better in the past and I would highly recommend shopping around before purchasing a car from Blasius Chevrolet & Cadillac. Based on my assessment of this purchasing experience, the dealer only cares about the sale, especially when you are from out of state. The sales lady did text me back yesterday and told me that management said that I got a good deal on the car and that I should be grateful. When I sent a return text back to get an understanding of when management would be getting back to me, I did not receive a response. The lack of communication with the dealership is the most frustrating part of the whole deal.I leave it up to the reader of this posting to make your own assessment based on the information that I have provided. Be aware of their extra care plan
Be aware of their extra care plan oil change for life and tires for life. Man what a scam artistes, paid like 500 dollars only to find out if I had to replace a tire somewhere else because of an emergency they will not reimburse me because the job was not done on their dealership.Im Already $250.00 out of pocket and with those 500 dollars would it replace all 4 tires already. The worst part is the management team not caring and not even getting back to me about my inquiries.

She found me the most perfect vehicle color Envy green. It is my favorite color. Love the car so much. The only thing is my husband bought the car for me for Mother's Day. The car is in both are names. I was hoping the car would have been put in my name as the main person on the vehicle. Everything is coming in my husbands name. I went to A Chevrolet dealer on a Friday night. Offer was on table the next morning but decided to try another dealership. Well it was the right decision. I went to Lohmann, met with Daniel Hass. He got me into the car I wanted. We decided to go back a few days later and trade my wife's traverse in for a new one. Daniel is a great salesmen. Every question we had. He was there. Every email was answered. He made the difficult decision of buying not one car, bjt two very easy. Myself and the wife cannot be any happier. We will never go to another dealership. Loehmann and Daniel will be our place to buy cars from here on out. The staff at Loehmann is sensational. You would be foolish in going anywhere else.

About 1 year ago we were in the process of looking for a new vehicle. My son who is a real car buff read some good reviews about Loehmann-Blasius Chevrolet so he suggested we go & take a look. We really liked the Equinox LTZ & it's features but most of all we liked the fact that Bob was not being "pushy" at all. Overall positive purchasing experience
As the lease on my nissan truck was coming to an end, I began looking for a slightly used truck to buy. I contacted a couple dealers near me and was very surprised and disappointed in their dismissive attitude towards me. I found a truck on Blassius' site and I emailed them. I recieved a response from Lawrence Perry almost immediately. I explained my current vehicle lease and my plans for my new vehicle. He had a very positive approach and attitude. His communication and response to any of my questions was very quick and thorough. I travelled the 55 miles from my house to the dealer and was not disappointed. I was very impressed with their inspection and final delivery of the truck (especially so, since it's not one of their makes).

Doing the right thing.
Mike exceeded my expectations, upon following up on a previous survey. Mike sated that he wold look into this issue and get back to me. With in a vary short time (less than two weeks) I received a phone call stating that my issue would be resolved, the parts were being ordered and to call and make an appointment when the part were in.The original issue was that the cab running lights (a 90 plus dollar item) were not installed when I ordered the vehicle new from the factory. After being told the Issue would be corrected when I picked up the vehicle several, follow up calls and revisits at the dealer ship over several months, even a call to the GM back in July or August. I never received any information on how this issue was going to be corrected. I was even told do to the time frame and the cost of installing the part now it was most likely not going to happen. My main issue was that I did not get what was negotiated for or what I paid for (even though it was only a 90-dollar item)So again I think Mike exceeded my expatiation and would keep me as a customer because of his follow through and doing the right thing to get his issue taken care of.

In mid-October, 2015, my husband and I went to Blasius Chevrolet to see a 2013 Honda Civic with 30,000 miles that was advertised on their site. The salesman, Jack, was a personable, knowledgeable gentleman and a real pleasure to interact with. Jack commented that they have so many cars, they have to use an overflow lot for some of the used cars. After we took a test drive, we sat down at his desk. He presented us with a car fax, only upon our request. In reviewing the car fax, we discovered the car had been a rental vehicle in New Jersey and in one previous accident. Jack proceeded to tally up the figures based on the 3K we were going to put down, and he presented us with the financing sheet. My husband and I then marked the sheet with what we would be willing to pay. We gave the sheet to Jack, who in-turn brought the paper to his manager. After a few minutes, Jack returned with his manager (If memory serves, his name was Steve, but I'm not positive). Steve introduced himself to both my husband and me, sat down, and the next words out of his mouth were: "Let's face it... You're here because we have the best prices around. You looked on the internet, found the car you wanted, and came here because we have the best price." Then he proceeded to go over the financing sheet saying that he would waive the (fictitious) "detailing fee" for $199.99 and take $200 off the purchase price, all the while with an air that he was doing us some kind of favor. My husband and smiled at him, thanked him for his time, and said that we would need to visit other dealerships since this was only the first one we visited. My husband commented on walking out of the dealership that Steve totally blew the deal, and obviously Blasius Chevrolet isn't interested in moving used cars. In doing a further CT internet search that same week, I discovered the EXACT SAME CAR that was never in an accident and was not used as a rental vehicle, for $8 less that had only 18,000 miles! I also viewed the exact same car at another dealership in CT that had only 11,000 miles (again, no accident/not a rental), with a comparable price. Logistically, we decided to visit the used-car dealership (also in Waterbury) with the Civic that had 11,000 miles. We were totally impressed. They couldn't have been more honest and upfront about the fees (and everything!). The salesman actually turned his computer screen around to show us the figures. There was never any sense that these people were trying to hide something from us. So, in the end, we purchased a vehicle that was a little more expensive but had 19,000 fewer miles and in far better condition than the one we were ready to purchase at Blasius. Side note, a woman from the dealership called about a week later to assure we were satisfied with our experience at Blasius. After hearing of our experience and how it was completely to our benefit that her manager didn't accept our offer, she was apologetic and meekly ended our conversation with, "I hope you will consider our dealership if you need another car in the future." Moral of the story: If a salesman tells you how the dealership is family owned and has been known for honestly and customer service throughout the generations, but his manager portrays the exact opposite, who are you going to believe? LET'S FACE IT, BEING ARROGANT DOESN'T SELL CARS. THIS DEALERSHIP IS OBVIOUSLY FOCUSED ON SELLING NEW CARS AND HAS LITTLE REGARD FOR USED-CAR SALES OR THEIR CUSTOMERS. WE COULDN'T BE HAPPIER THAT WE DIDN'T BUY OUR VEHICLE FROM BLASIUS CHEVROLET.
My salesman Jason Rodrigues went out of his way to make buying my new vehicle painless didn't leave any details out went over every option I felt like I new him for years I went in on a Friday and drove my new vehicle home the next day I don't see every going to an other dealership to buy again.

There was a lack of adult size chairs in the waiting room. Problems were addressed quickly and repaired in a reasonable time frame. Cost as always was more than we wanted to spend.

The front rubber piece under front bumper came loose. The service department fixed and replaced and when I asked for info to contact the manufacture GM they listened about my thoughts that this was a design flaw and offered to replace it free of charge. Fixing Piston Issue
Mike handled my concern with patience and helped me feel more at ease. I have had a couple of mechanical issues and I want to have a safe car. I feel going into the winter season now at a better comfort level with all my issues fixed and with reassurance!

When I arrived there were 50 cars being reported in the service dept. I had scheduled normal, oil change, tire rotation and 27 point inspection , and added air filter and cabin filter. My service was superb.

2015 Silverado - Best experience ever!
We visited Loehmann's a few weeks ago, Dan Barolli helped us find the vehicle we were looking for.No hard sell, just got us some pricing, even though he knew we wouldn't be purchasing for a couple of weeks. You came through for me when my car had service needs. The service advisors are there at 7a.m. for early drop offs and pick ups and they got me a car to use while mine was being repaired. The car came back to me clean and with the gas still in the tank. And it's early to know for sure but the repairs appear to have fixed the problem.

I purchased a 2014 Chevy Cruz. The service was excellent and my salesperson was very helpful. We test drove several cars before deciding on the Cruz. I was not rushed or hurried and the salesman, Fran Woodruff, was very patient and knowledgeable.
Pleasant car buying experience
Went through the dealerships website to search and apply for financing. Hooked up with Bryan who couldn't have been more helpful. After I found the car I wanted he basically took care of everything before I even had to step foot in the dealership. A test drive to confirm and it was all set. Overall I could not be more pleased with the ease of the purchase and will definitely be looking to Blasius and Bryan for my future car purchases.

The service department has been monitoring my car's oil consumption. During this visit they determined that when I come back in 1000 miles the car will need to be left for work. Service Department is Terrible
Today as of September 1st 2015 i arrvied at 7am to the service department to get my car serviced. I had spoken to David one of the employees about an ongoing noise that has been occurring since ive had the vechial. Which has been 3 weeks. I brought my car in several times in these past couple of weeks for them to try and fix it. Everytime i got it back the noise was worse and my car wasnt driving the same. Anyway i walk into the shop this morning and he sits me down and proceeded to tell me that "I will not tolerate the way you talked to me on the phone at all it was rude and disrespectful". First of all David I think you need to get your customer serviced checked again. I have worked in customer service for years and if a customer is chewing your head off you just need to let them and not talk back to them. I was absolutley 100% offended by this and i will NEVER ever ever return to this dealership for any reason ever again. This service department ruined my first time buying expierence highly disappointed. Hope you all feel good with how you treat your customers!

I have purchased many cars during my life but purchasing experience in Blasius Chevrolet was the best. I have used AMEX auto program to get the best price certificate. AMEX has given me another dealership (not Blasius). But the dealership did not honour the price.After that I came to Blasius Chevrolet with the price certificate. The negotiation took about 10 minutes. They gave exact price that was shown on the certificate.I have got everything that I wanted: the price, an exact car, color and options.No any pressure from sales person, Bob Palmer. He was very good person to deal with. Went to blasius to look at cars after being turned down by other dealerships to see if they could help me. I met with Kevin Lawrence who showed me a Ford escape that I absolutely loved. They sold our car to someone else. They even had a sold sign on it for us. Unethical. Salesman told us multiple times that we didnt need to put a down payment on it, that we were "all set"
2 salesmen told us over 3 times that we did not need to put a down payment down on a particular vehicle we were interested in. They told us we were "all set". Then , the day we went to purchase the vehicle they let us know they sold it to someone else. They even had a sold sign on the mirror. Terrible!

Excellent buying experience
I was researching the purchase of a 2011-2012 Impala, and the Costco car buying program. They put me in touch with Mr. Larry Perry at Blasius in Waterbury. we spoke and he let me know about the car which I wound up purchasing. He advised me of the Costco member price, and I arranged to come over to test drive the vehicle. The vehicle was exactly as advertised. I then made an appointment to pick up the vehicle so it could be reviewed by my mechanic in Brookfield. I was extremely impressed by the courtesy and professionalism of the entire staff.
By far the best car buying experience that Ive had. What a great team! Melody was fantastic and truly made me feel comfortable with the purchase. I would highly recommend Melody to anyone! Go see her!!!
Using the internet to make a car purchase
I searched the internet for a specific used car and found one at Blasius Chevrolet . I was contacted by Lawrence Perry the internet sales manager. Lawrence was great to work with he answered all my questions on line and then we had a meeting and closed the deal. It was a very positive experience thanks to the great service of Lawrence and the staff at Blasius. Lawrence has kept in touch after the sale to make sure everything was good, which it is! I will definitely refer people I know to Blasius!
Purchasing a new used car
I called the dealership and asked if someone could stay a little late to show my wife and I a specific car and a salesmen named Carmen Dragone offered to stay late and show us the car. We both fell in love with the car and struck a deal and are very pleased with the whole experience.

My Car broke down due to mechanical issues, I brought my car for repairs, they had my car for over 2 months and I recieved it back a week ago and it was said to be fixed & come to find out it really wasn't fixed,it broke down again that same week. Then they claimed the second time around that warranty didn't cover anything, I was told when I financed that I had 2 year warranty....later on I would find out that this warranty wouldnt cover any major repairs. Besides that some individuals were very pleasent and friendly they truly had a passion & heart for their Jobs and their customers, but others were very rude, sad that some people worry more about money than the well being of others. It hasn't even been a whole year yet with the car that I've financed from this dealership & everything you can think of has gone wrong, basically this car is a lemon. I pray that future customers are blessed with a better experience because this was ridiculous, but overall God is still good, have a blessed day and choose your dealerships wisely!

Family Dream SUV
We bought a Traverse 2 weeks ago, we needed it for our large growing family. We did not think we would be able to buy such a big suv. our salesman didn't force or turn us on; the SUV did that all on its own. We would 100% go back to purchase future vehicles . Not pushy met all issues pleasant to work with classy business selection "large" I wish their were more stars!!!!!!!

I was out of the blue looking for a new car.....and came across the Loehmann Blasius website.....I found a car I fell in love with so on a whim, I did all my paperwork online (very handy I might add) and figured I would give it a go.....What happened next was all you could hope for in a car buying experience. ...Jean emailed me back the following day to get everything rolling.....I work 6 days a week and was trying not to spend endless hours getting a car.....Jean was on the spot emailing me all day to get everything lined up.....She even offered to come get my trade-in while I was at work so she wouldn't inconvenience me....Awesome........ The Best Experience I've had
When walking into the dealership I was thinking that this was going to be another painful experience. Dealing with car salesman can be so terrible. Not in this case. I have never experience such a relaxed, easy going experience. I had a Lease that had negative equity and I wanted a new truck. Danielle Gale just didnt say that there was nothing she can do. She looked through her entire lot and found me the right truck that was in my budget. Danielle said,"we will do whatever to make it right for you". At first I'm like this is total BS but she did just that. I went away with my 2014 1500 Silverado and she even installed the 49er lic plate on my truck and the goody bag that my wife gave to her before I arrived .
