My whole experience with Devon and Lithia Subaru has been exceptional. I met with Devon over 4 months as she helped me decide on which model was for me, patiently answered questions and took me out on more than several test drives. Some dealers might have classed me as a "tire kicker" and paid little attention to me. Devon was patient, responsive, respectful and never pushed me. She did not hassle me in any way. I appreciated her personal input on different models and various options on the cars. She was super knowledgeable about all the models. Each time I met with her or texted her, I felt like she had plenty of time to address my concerns, that I was personally important. And when it came to the actual purchase, nothing was hidden, everything explained fully and every effort made to be sure that I went home with exactly the vehicle that I wanted, and that I was comfortable with the price thay I paid, and I understood everything about each cost item (thanks Geoff). I feel confident that Devon will be there for any assistance I need in the near future as I learn about my new Forester!Each person that I worked with, Geoff Eades and Cory Fay, was up beat, very personable and told me to call or email them with any questions or issues.

Our entire experience at Lithia Subaru of Oregon City was great. The building was clean and the staff was extremely helpful. We were fortunate enough to have Alex as our salesman and I couldn't be more impressed with our service. As new car buyers my wife and I had an excellent car buying experience at Lithia Subaru. A large part was due to the excellent salesman Patricio. As first time new car buyers we were not sure what to expect. He was very helpful when we test drove different vehicles and answered all of our questions. We did not feel any pressure and he really put an effort in to make this a great car buying experience.Also a big thanks to Louise who I initially worked with online.I would also like the thank Geoff for putting in the extra effort. We missed a signature on one of our documents and he went out of his way, meeting me in Hillsboro, to get everything squared away. Great customer service

Not only was my salesman courteous and friendly, but smart too and part of a large family of team members that all work together. Many in the service department know me by sight and remember my needs and quirks. They help remember my problem visit from before and ask me about it the next time. When I am frustrated, they help me feel better. David Meltzer, my salesman, was most interested in my knowing completely about all of the features of the Outback! The Outback has many features I was not familiar with. He took his time and when I left I felt very comfortable that I made the right purchase. I have bought many cars in my life but by far David, more than any other salesman, made sure I knew all about my car and answered all my questions. For that I am greatful! I'm a college student and I had been looking all over to find my first used car. Everywhere I went, I felt pressured or rushed. The Subaru dealership in Oregon City had a used car that fit all of my requirements their lot. I set up an appointment to see the car the very next day. I was able to get an appointment at a time that was convenient for me. I met with David and he showed me a few cars. He didn't rush me. He was also very knowledgeable and gave his honest opinions, which is something I really appreciated. I had a pretty low to medium budget and I didn't feel judged for it. David was willing to work with me and he was super patient. He understood that I was car shopping by myself and didn't make me feel pressured into buying anything. The whole process went smoothly with him and the signing of paperwork for the finance department. Everyone at this dealership was friendly and made the experience even better. I ended up purchasing my first car. It's been a few weeks since I got it and I love it!

David, helped me trade in my car for a brand new car! The model I wanted wasn't available at their lot so it had to be transferred. Although, the whole process took 6-7 hrs (trading, purchasing, waiting for the car to get here)! I was happy to go home with my new car. The only issue I had was that they didn't offer a rental car for you to go home and wait, so my fiance and I had to get a lyft to take us home and come back when the car was ready. Offering that service would of been a plus. Also, going through the checklist after getting my car seemed like a drag. He repeated things he had already told me during the test drive. Don't get me wrong, I appreciated him being thorough, but after being there the whole day, I just wanted to leave. I also didn't appreciate that he would be on his phone checking his facebook. Because at that moment, I had no patience. Overall, my experience at the dealership with David was good. But, I definitely would recommend them concentrating on their customer service side. Thank you!

Let me start by saying that before we arrived at Lithia we had already agreed to a price, car model, and had test driven a friends Outback several times, so all we needed to do was complete a cash transaction. The entire staff of Lithia was helpful, courteous and friendly through the entire process, but there were some bumps in the buying process. We arrived on time, mid-week for a prearranged appointment and discovered that our salesperson wasn't even in the dealership, so we ended up starting the transaction with another sales person half an hour later than anticipated. Our transaction, with cash in hand, no trade in, no test drive, lasted 6 hours. By now its 8Pm, dark outside and the last thirty minutes of the transaction were devoted to having the sales person explain the technical aspects ( Eyesight, Navigation, Entertainment system, Etc ) of a fully loaded car, so we could safely drive it home. We felt that part of the experience was lacking. My neighbor who bought an Outback from Lithia said their experience was very similar, lasting 6 hours, so be prepared to spend the day.Saving the best news for last. After considerable shopping around Lithia had the best price in the Tri-County area. In conclusion, we would recommend Lithia, but dont expect your transaction to be completed in a couple of hours.

I feared I needed a new battery, based on some issues my 2015 Forrester was having. Gary Chartier talked me through the issues, the battery-testing procedure and my options. Based on my previous experiences here at Lithia (where I bought my car and have it serviced regularly), I fully trusted what Gary told me and therefore I accepted his recommendation that no battery is needed. Additionally, he was able to take me through the clock-re-settig procedure in a way that I could understand! (All that toggling is not intuitive!) A++ to Gary.Overall, I have been very pleased with all my visits to Lithia. There is not an ounce of condescension or impatience towards someone (a woman) who has, shall we say, limited aptitude with cars and technology. Everything is clearly and respectfully communicated. Information is presented in a timely fashion. Service is efficient and complete, and not rushed.

I recently bought a used car through this dealer and am very disappointed in how they advertise that they are a TRUEcar certified dealer. They provided a CARFAX and a maintenance intake record of the vehicle showing that some minor issues were addressed, but upon bringing the vehicle home I found oil under the vehicle the first time I used it. I brought it to my mechanic and they determined that the vehicle needed five significant maintenance items that amounted to more than half of the cost of the vehicle. The sales person stated that Lithia is an upstanding dealer and provides quality vehicles. However, with the information I provided, they decided to tell me that I bought the vehicle as is and were not interested in addressing the issues found by my mechanic. I recommend that you do not trust this dealership; I also recommend you conduct your own pre-inspection prior to purchase. I thought that being a certified dealer would carry more weight and that they would want to take care of their customers, but am very disappointed with this outcome and do not recommend this dealer nor will I use them again.

This dealership won out over several others when Louise was so friendly, patient and accommodating in our online interactions. I was very particular about what I wanted and took a long time in becoming ready to make the purchase; Louise answered all of my questions kindly and patiently and never made me feel rushed or pressured or criticized for being so particular. Then, it was a friendly phone call from David that helped me resolve my final doubts and become ready to buy. Our car was available just a couple days later and we worked with David throughout the sales process. He was very enjoyable to work with: relatable, kind, and thorough. We especially appreciated the drive he took us on where he explained every function and button in the car. We also appreciated that this dealership agreed to beat a competitor's price for the car we wanted! We are very happy with our Forester!

I spoke with Mark Turanski, a supreme individual that was able to help guide me through the paperwork process and entertain me when we had to wait. I was able to get an appointment on pretty short notice just when I wanted one. Their shuttle service was available right away both ways, and the driver (Michael) was nice to chat with. My car was ready almost two hours *before* they said it would be for the 30,000 mile service. And Bobby Fisher, my service adviser, took great care of me. I'll be back. And they have popcorn in the waiting room.

I went to Lithia Subaru in Oregon City, to look at a car I saw online. Upon walking onto the lot, I was pleasantly met by Ryan Love. Upon seeing the car I was interested in, I realized it would not work for us. Through a brief discussion with Ryan, he immediately picked on what I was interested and was able to direct me to other used cars that would work for us, and with our budget. I ended up buying a used Toyota RAV4 from Ryan, and could not be happier. I found Ryan, Scott in Finance and Lithia Subaru overall to be very pleasant to work with. I went to Lithia Subaru in Oregon City, to look at a car I saw online. Upon walking onto the lot, I was pleasantly met by Ryan Love. Upon seeing the car I was interested in, I realized it would not work for us. Through a brief discussion with Ryan, he immediately picked on what I was interested and was able to direct me to other used cars that would work for us, and with our budget. I ended up buying a used Toyota RAV4 from Ryan, and could not be happier. I found Ryan, Scott in Finance and Lithia Subaru overall to be very pleasant to work with. We decided to purchase a late model Outback. We arrived early afternoon on 10/23. The first thing that occurred was as we were walking out to the lot with our salesperson, the Sales Manager interrupted us because our person's other customers came back. We were then put with another salesperson, who was great. We spent about 2 hours looking at cars and test driving a couple of them. We picked out the car that we wanted and went to the table. Here comes the fun part...We sat down and my salesperson asked me about monthly payments, etc. I told them I didn't care about the monthly payments, just the price of the car. They asked me if $500 off would do it and I said "probably not." My salesperson then went to the sales manager and came back a short time later saying "there are 7 people ahead of you." So, I waited for an hour (yes, an entire hour) and quite patiently. The sales manager came back and told me that there was no negotiation and that the price was the sticker on the window. In other words, he was being a jerk. I then drove up the rode and had the best experience ever at Dick Hannah Subaru and drove home our Outback. I will never recommend Lithia Subaru to any of my friends or family. Worst experience I've ever had at a dealership.

Lithia was one of the dealers who sales staff insured that I got information accurately and promptly. They also offered the lowest asking price and did not hedge throughout the sales price. The staff was thorough in their orientation both to insure that I understood the capabilities of the car and that my choice of car was suited to my needs. My daughter was looking for a car that would be safe for her to drive to and from work and college with all kinds of weather but it also needed to fit a grand size harp. I asked if it was possible to take the car home to make sure her harp would fit in the back. The manager not only let me do that but he asked the employee that was helping me, Chris Ryan, to ride along. Chris allowed me to go home, fit the harp and then go a step further and let my mechanic do a full inspection of the car before we go any further with the purchase. Chris was wonderful to work with. He did not pressure us at all and was extremely helpful! He was willing to let us come in a couple times after that to look at the car before we made the final decision to purchase. After searching online for a used subaru, we found one we liked at Lithia. I contacted the internet sales department and scheduled a test drive. Louise was great, she made sure I had all the important documents to her before my arrival so we could test drive and start the transaction right away. She gave me the salesmen name -David Meltzer and my appointment time. I was expecting a typical high pressure, BS filled, car buying experience, but was surprised when we arrived to find a friendly, laid back environment. Although we ultimately did not buy the car, everyone was so great. David, Thank you for being so incredibly knowledge about Subaru's, it's features, transmission and for showing me how to use the vehicle during our test drive. Really glad that the person who met us outside turned us over to a very sharp young salesman named "Chris Ryan". Chris answered all of our questions, and quite thoroughly. No pressure at all. We went away for a late lunch, called him up and accepted the terms he had laid out---and returned to Lithia to wrap up the deal. From start to finish, Chris did a great job. Really appreciate the fact that when we pointed out that the back of our Outback didn't have a cargo mat and cover, Chris took care of that too and provided a like new mat and cover.When we're ready to get a second Subaru in 3-5 years, we'll go back to Lithia of Oregon City and ask for Ryan. I / we needed a new(er) car. I have always liked Subaru commercials and went to Lithia Subaru in OR City. First of all, Oscar was great, it was sprinkling and chilly outside but he hung in there and answered all of my questions. My wife and I must have had him show us 15 different cars and he had to explain to me more than once the difference between Outback-Forrester-Limited-Base-Premium... At one point I think Oscar got a little confused, which I appreciated, it reminded me that he is a human being also. I had this preconceived notion of how new car salesmen would treat me. He squashed it, I felt this "attitude" that Oscar was on my side. He wanted us to like our experience, he wanted us to love our car. What I really enjoyed about the dealership was the area for my kids to hang out, they had movies on, free popcorn and other things for small kids to do. It was nice not worrying about the kids while we were popping hoods and kicking tires. If you are having any doubt about going to Lithia OR city, trust me, an old skeptic, they will treat you right. I should also point out that Val is a non BSer, he was honest / upfront and I respect that. Bravo Zulu to Oscar and Val.

We came to Lithia in Oregon City to look at a pre-owned Crosstrek. When someone else purchased that car as we were arriving, David offered to show us new (2016) Crosstreks. Throughout the entire process he was extremely nice, explained all of the car's components without overdoing it, worked with us on financing options and found exactly the car we wanted at a nearby dealership, deliverable the very next day. We couldn't be happier with the car we took home, or with David's excellent job making us feel comfortable in what can be a stressful situation. Great experience!I have wanted a Suburu Impreza 5 door for a very long time. We set up and appointment online and were met by David. We went on a test drive (2 technically since we both had to drive it) and he made sure to show us all the various feature/packages available by going to a bunch of different cars. He showed us how everything worked too! David listened to us on what we wanted and what our concerns were. We decided we wanted to try for a car and so we got to work - there were only 2 cars in the system that had everything that we wanted and David worked hard to make sure we got it and we did! They even went and got it for us within a few hours! :)The financing process was super easy and even though we came in with a pre-approval from a lender, they actually beat that pre-approval rates and just like that, we had a brand new car! At no time was David or anyone else pushy or made us feel pressured - it was very laid back, relaxed and a overall a very pleasant time. We would definitely recommend anyone looking for a Suburu or even a used car to go work with David and Lithia!

Stopped by to look at another car they had, and saw the lancer. My daughter fell in love with it. Roman was very helpful in showing us the car and working us thru the buying process. Over all a. Very good experience at Lithia Subaru of Oregon City. We had the car for less than a week and the blower motor went out, took it back and they said it would cost over $400.00 to repair. They said they would not pay for the repair and didn't even offer to help with the cost of the bill. So once you buy there is no customer after the sale. So beware of buying anything used from this dealer, I would have the car checked out by an outside mechanic before signing on the doted line. I will never purchase another car from this Dealer ship and will recommend that anybody I know Knows how they work!!!!!

He walked me to the finance department, where they do a fantastic job of not trying to up sell you on a million different line items. After the finance wrapped up, Patricio assisted me in removing some items from my old Forester and transferring them to my new one. The entire process was less than 2 hours. I highly recommend both this dealership, and Patricio. It's worth the extra drive from Portland.

A really great experience for a first time buyer. We walked in, sat on one of their couches and helped ourselves to their snacks and water. In a few short minutes Devon Paton, although busy with another client, was the only one there who dropped everything to make sure we were being helped. In return, we waited for her, and her alone, to finish business so that she could be the one to help us out. It was worth the wait, because Devon did her best to make this an easy and fun experience. She fetched us two used cars to look at and I settled on a test drive in a used old Subaru that was in great condition. Devon was friendly and engaging during the drive and when we got back to the dealership, I decided to buy the car. Devon helped the purchasing process happen fast by making a couple of phone calls so that we could get this done even faster. Unfortunately I had forgotten some necessary paperwork and had to wait for someone to bring it in for me, but all the while Devon was patient with us and got busy helping others until my papers had arrived. In the end, we struck a deal, I signed everything that needed to be signed, my purchased car was cleaned for me, and I was on my way. Thanks again!

We'd been studying Foresters for several months before deciding to go with a 2017 Touring. We did our homework and knew what we wanted on it. We'd been in the showroom a couple of times just to ask questions. On both occasions, everyone we met was friendly and informative. No one - I repeat: no one - was pushy. We were welcome to walk through the lot at our leisure and look at the inventory. Test drives were low key and fun, allowing plenty of time to get a feel for the car. When the 2017's were finally available, we worked with Kiki and Cory to make sure our car came with the packages and accessories we wanted without pressure to add any other items. Kiki was easy to talk with, knowledgeable and articulate; generous with her time and respectful of ours. She had a good grasp of the car and its equipment; had everything ready and we never felt like our time was being wasted. Since the purchase, she has taken the time to follow-up with us. We shopped all of the Subaru dealers in the Portland Metro area through their internet sales departments and Oregon City Subaru gave us the best price and had the exact car we wanted in stock. Other dealers were either way off the price, didn't have the car we wanted in stock, or both. We came from NE Oregon since no dealers within 100 miles of us could come close to the deal we worked out over the internet. David Meltzer is very knowledgeable about the product and was prepared for us when we arrived for our appointment. He had the car parked near the showroom and paperwork in order. Scott in the Finance department was very friendly, professional and efficient. No pressure to purchase any additional services if we didn't want them. We did end up buying the extended factory warranty in part due to the great price we got on the car, even with the warranty it was a very competitive price, and 4 years of 0% financing is pretty great too. Everyone was extremely polite, professional and a pleasure to work with. David did a great job explaining and demonstrating the features of the car, pairing our phones with the entertainment system and making sure all of our questions were answered. I will recommend this dealership to anyone considering the purchase of a Subaru, and they are by far the preferred vehicle here in the mountains of Eastern Oregon. The entire purchase experience was enjoyable and stress free.

We saw a suburb Baja pictured on their web site that we were interested in. After calling and talking to salesman 2 times we drove 110 miles to see it. The first thing we noticed was no tonneau cover! When asked why the online picture had one and now it didn't we were told "well, we had 3 bajas in here and a previous sale probably wanted the cover so we removed it and put it on that one". Yet they did not change the online photo. What a waste of time.

It was time to update our family car. We've had a 1996 Subaru Legacy wagon for 14 of it's 20 year life span. When we purchased this car used, it had 30,000 miles and as of today it is still running strong with 209,000 miles. But, like all things, it was time for an upgrade. I've been researching Subaru's for some time, and with an offering of 0% financing, I decided it was time to jump on it. We purchased a new 2017 Subaru outback Limited, and so far I couldn't be more pleased. It has more bells and whistles then our other Subi, but I guess it's time to catch up to the new age of Subaru. We went through the Costco car buying program, and was pleased to show up to the dealership (from Central Oregon), to have David Meltzer ready with our new car. Considering I haven't bought a new car for a very long time, I pleased with the overall process. Devon Patton was a great sales associate. She worked with us from day one through buying a 2017 Forester the end of July. She was by far the most helpful and regularly contacted us with information on the new cars we were interested in, offering to have them ready to test drive if we called ahead. She was very professional, seemed to always have our interests at heart, and was very thorough about extra options. You don't have to buy them but if you drive your cars 7 or more years, the are worth considering. Everyone else at the dealership was also great. Geoff Eades did a good job of covering all the paperwork, financing, etc. so we understood it.

living close to 3 hours away from any from a Subaru dealership I found the perfect outback at lithia Subaru of Oregon city. Having purchased several new cars in the past, my experiences have ranged from horrid to good. That is, until buying a car from Lithia Subaru, which was GREAT! I used the Costco Auto program and the people at Lithia were attentive without being bothersome or pushy...and that was just the emails. Once at the showroom for a test drive, it was actually an enjoyable experience. Everyone was friendly, laid back and helpful. Once the decision was made to purchase, they gave us a very fair trade in amount for our 2010 Forester without any haggling. Even the financing/warranty selling time was relaxed and enjoyable (didn't think that was possible)! We don't plan on buying a new Subaru for another ten years, but when we do, we'll be back at Lithia!

Devon made sure that I got a good feel for the vehicle. On our route, she drove through town, back roads, and a stretch of highway that allowed me to get a feel for the acceleration and road noise. She also showed me things like turning radius and the features when backing up. All along the way, she provided valuable information about the Forester. She was also very knowledgeable, personable and patient. Not only did she answer all my questions, doing so with a smile, but she shared very interesting stories about herself along the way to help me feel at ease. I was the most relaxed with Devon than with any of the other salesperson I worked with. By far the best test drive I had during our car purchasing experience.I also wanted to mention that she was pro-active and diligent. She learned before I arrived of what we were looking for, found examples of those vehicles, and provided me with a variety of options immediately after I got there! No time wasted looking at vehicles I wasn't interested in. Thanks!

I came in just wanting to learn more about the Legacy and Impreza as well as Subaru in general. I knew I wasn't likely going to buy a car that day. In the past, that has translated into terrible experiences, since some people only care about the sale. However, that was not the case with Patricio. He took the time to talk me through my options, take me on a test drive, and give me a price quote. He wasn't forceful and didn't make me feel uncomfortable, which has been the case before at other dealerships. I don't even care that this location is 30 mins away and that there are two closer ones. I'm going back for the excellent customer service and recommending anyone I know who's looking at Subaru to go here.

I experienced a brake problem the same day of purchasing 2009 Chrysler Aspen hybrid. I noticed brake dust on the wheel when I got home from Lithia and the wheel was very hot. Caliper seized totally next day on way back to dealership and shut down the hybrid system. I had it towed ($75) to the service department but they said I didn't have any recourse because it had over 80k miles and it was too soon for the warranty I purchased to go into effect but they would be happy to take a look at it. They called once to get more details from me about what happened but that was the last time I heard from them. I got a call after that but from a repair shop near Lithia that said they had my car but couldn't find any thing wrong with the brakes or the rest of the car ($98). I drove it home and checked the wheel. It was cool but the rotor was hot enough to melt my fingertip (no $ just pain). I replaced the front brakes at Les Schwab ($379). No more brake problem but still having intermittent loss of power and check engine light. Very bad experience.

Now that Ive had my new Outback for a little over a month, I wanted to share my experience working with David and Lithia Subaru. This is my second Outback that I purchased from David and Lithia. I had a great experience in 2014 so when I wanted to trade it in for a 2016 I didnt hesitate about going back to working with David and Lithia again, even though there are Subaru dealers closer to where I live. And I wasnt disappointed. Sure, I got a great price. But I could have gotten one elsewhere. What I liked most about my experience here this time-and last-was the level of customer service not only from David but from the Finance Office and Sales Manager. I truly felt that they valued me as a customer. When my car wasnt quite ready for me to take it home the day I purchased it, David drove it to my office to deliver it to me. And even though he gave a thorough orientation of the car's features (including setting up my phone and showing me how Navigation works) when I needed a refresher on how some of the features work, David was always there to answer my questions for me, even offering some additional one-on-one training time. I would not hesitate to work with David or Lithia the next time Im ready for a new car. I am very happy with my purchase and my experience here. Gina Carey

This was my first stop on my list of dealerships to explore and it went so smoothly, that I left with a new car and extra time on my hands to enjoy the rest of my weekend! David is a great asset to the team and I feel lucky to have had him as our salesperson. He was friendly, genuine and a great listener. He wasn't at all the way you picture car salesmen to be in your head. Not pushy. Not fake. Never lost his patience with me even when I was taking forever to decide. I felt totally comfortable around him and that's a huge deal to me. I got a great deal on a Honda and I'm thrilled with how it looks and performs. The team was efficient and the dealership was set up to make buyers feel at ease. Snacks, refreshments, even an area for kids to watch a Disney movie while their parents talk numbers. Geoff in finance was fantastic as well. Super personable and funny. He treated me with respect and courtesy and I could tell he genuinely wanted to help me get what I want. Nothing ever felt like a battle. It felt like a team objective.
