We were looking for a new vehicle. This was our first stop....and the rest is history. We purchased a 2017 Kia Sportage. The service was great; thanks Ed. We were promised a full tank of gas after our purchase: we left before getting the gas. A few days later, Ed called to remind me to bring the car in to fulfill the promise. I was truly impresses!

I was purchasing a car for my daughter's 16th birthday. I had communicated my needs to Ed Rais before arriving at the dealership. By the time we arrived, Ed had walked the lot and found prospective cars that met our needs. Once we had selected a car, Ed sat with my daughter and went through all of the features with her so she would be knowledgeable about her car and comfortable driving it. After buying a two-year-old Sorento I went to the service department to find out that they would no longer honor the warranty later the parts department at not lied to me in order to try to sell me a $400 key. I wouldn't buy anything from these people not even a candy bar out of the vending machine!

Lithia Kia brought to my attention I should consider some service was due recently. It slipped my mind so I appreciated the Heads-Up. I called the next day and was promptly was given my choice of time and date for my appointment. When I arrived I was impressed by their courtesy the thoroughness in informing me of what they were to do and how long it would take. I was shown to the the lounge enjoyed coffee with my book and in no time it seemed the manager came for me. We went through the many items serviced and I was quite surprised at the modest charges. My car was clean and sparkling when I left. It was an unexpected degree of excellent customer service.

The waiting time for the initial visit, which was supposed to be for a diagnostic check for a worn lower control arm ball joint, I thought was a little longer than should have been. I had a 9:30 am appointment and sat in the waiting room for about two hours before being told about the problem. Once I was told, Matt Glenn arranged for a loner vehicle without me having to as for one, which I thought was very nice. Aside from the waiting time, I was 100% satisfied with the service.

We looked at most of the other SUVs in this class and felt the KIA Sorento was the best bang for the buck. Lithia Kia of Anchorage was able to beat the price of all the other brands we looked at and got us the options we wanted. The sales manager was great to deal with and seemed fair in the negotiation. Overall we are happy with the purchase and the only minor draw back to the deal was the drawn out negotiation until we were face to face with Rchard (sales manager). After that, smooth sailing.

I use to work at Lithia of Kia as a tech. So I went to one of my favorite salesmen to help me find a truck that was with in my loan budget. Chris Mathis accepted the challenge and later that afternoon I was signing all the paperwork to a truck that I thought for sure was wayy out of my price range. The vehicle hadn't gone though the shop or detail yet so I couldn't pick it up until the following day. Which was probably the worst part about the whole thing was waiting to drive my new truck out of there!

I got a car under blue book value with everything I wanted. I tried Cal Worthington Ford before and got ripped off on my previous car. I looked there before going to lithia and they still tried to get me to buy cars that I did not want at all. Lithia is honest and I will be back in the future. I got a warranty that is worth it with a life time oil change package.

I flew from Fairbanks to Anchorage to purchase a Kia Soul and I am so happy with my decision. The guys at Lithia Anchorage were very helpful, nice, and they really wanted to get me a great deal on my vehicle. My dealer showed me the ins and outs of my new vehicle and made sure all my questions were answered. The finance officer got me a great APR which helped me purchase all the extras I wanted.

This service department aims to please. Matt is the best! To begin with, this is the second service call that I had difficulty with scheduling. I left voice mails requesting a return call because online scheduling wouldn't accept my request. I finally went in to schedule a service call, in person. I like dealing with Matt, his aim is to meet my needs. He fixed my online scheduling problem for me. Because they did not have time to give me a car wash the first service call, he gave me a free one at the following appointment, but when I requested it, the car wash left bug stuff on headlights, and inside doors were not cleaned well. These might seem petty, but it cost me time, as I had to finish the carwash job myself in my parking spot, as I don't have a garage. This was a Saturday appointment and the service department didn't seem over-booked, as I previously experienced. I might try Saturday visits again at my next oil change service.

Chris Mathis was informative, patient, helpful, thoughtful and knowledgeable about the whole process. He tendered our offer, and was not able to the Dodge Caliber down as low as we would have liked, but I know he made every effort to work with us. It's really convenient to get the registration, insurance and other benefits handled by the dealer as Chris did. Very efficient in doing paperwork and covering every concern we had.After driving the car one day, we realized we had some kind of tire problem. I came to Lithia kia with my mom and we had pretty specific needs, are salesman Mike Martella was amazing he looked with us at all the trucks and after I got into a few he realized that I needed a truck with a power seat and said that because of my height he had to find the perfect truck to fit my wants and needs.... Bought a used car from them and less then a week later it started to overheat. After being put in the shop 4 times within a month they finally figured out the right problem but they could not fix it. They sent it to Chevy of south anchorage where I was told it would be 600 to fix (it was a sensor the car was not actually overheating) after I got it back from Chevy less then a week later the car broke down on the side of the road. I brought it back to Chevy where they told me I had bad heads and it would be 4100 to fix. Lithia Kia was unhelpful after I bought the car and when my wife called the sales manager actually told her she was overreacting and "it is our car and we can do what we want with it." Never will I recommend this dealership to anyone.

I had been considering buying a new car on and off for about six months. I reviewed my finances and set an amount that I was willing to spend. This would be my first independent car purchase. My father purchased my first car and my late husband purchased every car after that. I reviewed car sales sites and got an idea what my budget would buy. I then called my friend David Williams at Lithia Kia. I have known David and his wife for years. Knowing someone in the car sales business helped me feel more confident about proceeding. My mother and I visited with David at the car sales lot. I explained to David what I was hoping to buy. I wanted a low mileage all-wheel-drive used vehicleI thought. While in the show room, I looked at a new Kia Soul. I liked its features and its size. I was concerned about the front wheel drive. David suggested that I come back during the daytime to take a test drive. Unfortunately, I became sick and was in bed for a week. I thought about the new car, but had reservations about the cost of a new car. I asked David to look for a used car that met my wish list. As I was recovering, David let me know that there was a Kia Soul with low mileage that had been traded in. I was excited about what I heard. On Dec. 27, 2014, I arrived at the dealership to see the car that David had told me about and took it for a test drive. David explained all the safety features of the Kia Soul and the awards and credibility that Kia has garnered. He also pointed out that many of the Kia sales staff are Kia Soul owners, including himself. Most of the vehicles I have owned were all-wheel-drive. David explained the differences I might experience in a front-wheel-drive vehicle. I was impressed with the 2013 Kia Soul, which had low mileage and appeared brand new. I discussed purchase options with David. I had the funds to purchase the car, but David suggested I could finance a portion to improve my credit history. I haven't used any credit in many years, which affected my rating. David explained the advantage of using synthetic oil and of buying it through the dealership. I will get my oil changes taken care of for the life of the car with no more cost to me. I also bought an extended manufacturers warranty that will cover my car's systems for 10 years. When I determined I wanted to finance a portion of the cost, David introduced me to the finance director, Jeremy. Jeremy was very helpful and was able to get me a low interest rate of 2.9 percent, despite my only average credit score. He also explained the number of payments I needed to make to improve my credit rating. I am thankful for the guidance and advice I received from David Williams. Having someone I trust was important to me. I also appreciated Jeremy's patience and ability to get me a favorable interest rate. My overall experience purchasing my car was positive. I have called David since the sale to ask questions about operating the features on my car and he has been very gracious and helpful. I am very happy with my Kia Soul. Recently I drove my mother, sister, niece and nephew to a restaurant for lunch. Everyone was comfortable and impressed with the spaciousness of my car. On that trip I could not get my phone to connect with the car's Bluetooth system. I called David, who returned my call quickly, and explained that if more than one Bluetooth device is activated at the same time in the car it will affect the connection. Adjusting to front-wheel-drive has not been a problem, as the Soul has a stabilizer that enhances the performance of the front-wheel-drive in icy conditions. I haven't used a tank of gas as of this writing. Since it has been cold and I start and warm my car before driving, the MPG may be lessened. I am very happy with the car's defroster and heater. I will probably add a remote car starter before the end of winter. I look forward to continuing my relationship with Lithia Kia, as a Kia owner.

Mark and Mike were more than accommodating. They were both very knowledgeable, and when they weren't sure the car we were interested in was available for purchase Mark wasted no time finding out that it was available. They allowed us to take the car home overnight (to Palmer) for a test drive, and that is what sold us on the Sorrento. It handled very well and was great on gas. Mike fought to get the most value for our trade-in and succeeded. If you want to go to a dealership where you are not pressured, and the employees even have a sense of humor, I would definitely recommend Lithia Kia of Anchorage.

We have all tried sneaking around a car dealership so as not to get "attacked" by a car sales person. I have had some bad experiences in the past but here at Lithia Kia of Anchorage they have a warm and inviting atmosphere. Chris Mathis was wonderful and actually made my car buying experience wonderful. I didn't feel pressured what so ever and he was able to find me exactly what I wanted and more that fit well whithin my budget. If you're dreading going out to find a vehicle and stuck behind your comuter surfing the web because you dont want to feel pressured into the wrong vehicle like I was, Chris Mathis is your guy. I went to Lithia Kia of Anchorage after shopping around for cars at a few other dealerships. Not impressed with the barter the other dealerships were offering, I stopped by Lithia to see where they fell into the scheme of things. After just pulling into the lot and assessing a few cars on the line, David walked up and offered his assistance. I was fed up with other salesmen trying to pressure me into buying a car so was hesitant to accept his help. He quickly assured me that I was under no pressure to buy a car and he had no plans to make me leave his lot with a set of keys in my hand. After taking the car for a test-drive we started to get the ball rolling. Lithia was fast and efficient and did not go back and forth offering higher prices than I said I was willing to pay. It turns out I did in fact leave their dealership that day with a previously owned 2013 Toyota Corolla. I love the car and the service was great. David was fabulous and has outstanding customer service! Jeremy in their finance department was also a wonderful help. I recommend this dealership to anyone who wants to get straight to business and doesn't want to be taken advantage of, while also receiving excellent customer service in the process.

The appointment people are tremendous bit the guy and the gal. Kind folks and helpful. The service dept manager might be a very hardworking saint. The car is a gem of a car. Only one minor suggestion: in taking things out of glove boxes to replace cabin air filters it would be a better choice not to strew them about such that on opening the car door stuff can fall out. Minor point and added only so you know our evaluation is a real 10 not just a click it off 10. Great dealership. Wonderful repair shop.

Lithia Kia sold me a used 2009 Toyota Tundra in July of 2014. I love the truck, and my sales guy ED was great! However, within (2) days of taking the truck home, the check engine light came on. Here is the time line of events:(2) days after sale - Check engine light comes on in the truck, I called Lithia Kia and brought the truck in the next day.(3) days after the sale - I brought the truck in and it is diagnosed. I was told that it needed an Oil fill neck. The part was supposedly ordered and was expected to take a week to arrive(3) weeks after the sale - I called to see if the part had arrived and was told that it never got ordered. they said they would order it and it should be another week.(2) MONTHS after the sale - I called again (several times before getting through) and was told to bring the truck in and i did on a Tuesday. I was told the truck would be done that day. At the end of the day, i was told it would be the next day so i borrowed my dad's truck. After 2 more days, my dad had to leave town (with his truck so I had to get a "rental" car from them. When i went to get the rental, I was not told anything except that the the car was blue and out back. I did not sign any agreement, didn't check my ID, nothing.(8) days after getting the rental car - I was told that my truck had been diagnosed and that they had to order the part, and that it would be a week. AGAIN?! This was the third time that they did the same check and ordered the SAME PART! Alsom they tried to charge me 40$ PER DAY for the rental car because it is somehow my fault that they screwed up again and didn't do anything new. I refused to pay and I did NOT pay anything as I never signed any rental agreement or anything.(2) weeks later - I finally brought the truck in and they told me they would have it done by the end of the day. I never heard anything so I called them around 5pm and talked with Matt. Matt told me that they had not had a chance to start on it. Appearently, my warranty claim was not a priority, even after all this. So, i had to borrow my dad's truck again to avoid the rental car B.S..I also talked with Russel the service manager and asked if he could at least throw in a free oil change for my troubles. His response was "No, i am not doing anything more for you".. implying that he is somehow doing me a favor by failing to fix my truck time after time.Finally, on October 22nd, I am heading down now to pick up the truck. I Bought the truck on July 8th.... I will NEVER go back to Lithia Kia of Anchorage as long as Russell works there, and am looking forward to my meeting the GM today.

I went to Lithia because Cars.com said they had a used Nissan Murano, the model/vehicle I had my mind set on buying. I was greeted by David Williams as I get out of my vehicle. I had read many reviews recommending him, so I was pleased to talk to him. He showed me the Murano which had just been turned in and hadn't been cleaned yet...I don't think they keep used cars on the car lot -- not sure, but it didn't have the CVT transmission that I had my heart set on. My daughter bought a KIA some years back and told me this brand didn't have any muster -- no get up and go, but David assured me the technology for KIA's have changed. I felt like Goldilocks -- I looked at the Sorrento -- too big, the Sportster too small -- and then he told me about the rig he was driving - a Soul. It looked like a sporty little box, but he had a lot to say about what I was looking for, so I took went for it -- even had a trendy but classic color called Latte' brown -- a few features weren't what I had in mind, but overall, it was the same price, brand new, as the 5 year old Nissan model I wanted. I decided to take his word -- he comes across very trustworthy and honest -- no pressure -- laid back -- answered all my questions and a few more I should've thought of and he did -- it just made good sense. Because this is a 5 star rated vehicle, my insurance was quite nominal -- my old truck 15 years old -- no comprehensive for it, and the new -- not much more. A good deal for me. Even better, he found a lending institution that offered a lending rate lower than mine - at 2.25% in a matter of two hours. So whole deal took around 4 hours, and I was in no rush, on a Sunday afternoon. I'd say look up David Williams if you want to buy a KIA, he's sold on them. For now, I'm not sure, but if he's right, I won't be surprised!

I was pleasantly surprised by KIA. The company has improved the quality of its vehicles tremendously in the last few years. Our 2005 KIA Sorrento (my husband had purchased it before we met) needed to be replaced and we were referred to Chris Mathis at Lithia KIA. I didn't really want another KIA, but couldn't ignore the price, so we decided to give them another chance. We had a great experience! Chris listened to what we needed - something smaller than the Sorrento with better gas mileage, but still big enough for our family. He pointed us to the Soul. My first impression was that it was too boxy, but after we took a test drive I was hooked. It is much roomier than it looked from the outside and gets great gas mileage: about 28 mpg in town and up to 34 mpg on the highway. It's smaller than the Sorrento, but still has enough room to fit our car seat, stroller, groceries, or small deliveries for work. Chris and the rest of the team at Lithia did a great job of getting us in and out as quickly as possible and were not aggressive or disrespectful as we negotiated price (my least favorite part of buying a car), interest rate, trade-in value, credit insurance, etc. We have already referred a few family members and friends who are looking for an affordable and reliable vehicle.

First and foremost, based on previous experiences, I am predisposed to not like the whole car-buying experience. However, the staff at Lithia Kia made the experience enjoyable. David Williams and Ehzen were extremely pleasurable to deal with, as well as knowledgeable. We are very thorough when making a car purchase, and we visited the Kia dealership (among others) at least three times before making a purchase. Every time, David and Ehzen were eager to help, and happy to answer our numerous questions. Ultimately, we feel we received a very fair price on a great vehicle. Our experience with Jeremy in finance was enjoyable as well. Out of all the cars we have purchased, I can honestly say this is the first time we have actually laughed (in a good way) about completing finance paperwork. Went into Lithia Kia of Anchorage to look around for a new car. I was almost instantly greeted by Gabe, who was VERY friendly, clean, and helpful. Instead of being pushy about buying a car, he actually helped me find what I was looking for in a vehicle. He showed me all kinds, and pointed out various details. I decided I needed more time to think about it, but I got his card and I will DEFINITELY be going back when I decide to buy

I stopped by the other day to look at a used car and because of the excellent customer service provided by Ehzen Ralleca I drove away in exactly what I wanted. From the moment I drove onto the lot I had a wonderful experience. My salesman, David Williams, was kind, informative, and funny! I wasn't sure what I wanted but David instinctively knew what I would like. He showed me the Kia Soul and I was hooked. I was approached by other salesmen asking if I wanted water, soda, or coffee on numerous occasions. I will never buy a car anywhere else but Lithia Kia. I went in to just look at the Kia Optima from seeing commercials on TV, Gabe was my salesguy and he understood that I was in just to look, after the testdrive we got back to the dealership and he wasnt even upset when i told him i had to think about it nor did he pressure me to buy, i went to a few other dealerships and just wasnt treated the same and found myself right back at the Kia dealership and bought the car that night! I recommend Lithia Kia of Anchorage to anybody looking for a new or used vehicle. The staff is truly amazing and i will be a life long customer

I had the pleasure of going into the Anchorage Lithia Kia yesterday to try and find a used vehicle. Although I didn't find one in my budget I was extremely happy with my salesmen and the floor supervisor. This was the 5th dealership I had been to. Both Mike Martella and Mark Flothe were honest kind, not pushy, not sleezy and seemed to actually care that I get a vehicle I like and could afford. I wish they had a vehicle in my budget because they deserve my business and yours.

I was in the market for a used SUV. I was looking for months online and used car lots hoping to secure one before winter set in. Having a quality safe SUV for my family is paramount. Mr. Dave Williams from Lithia KIA of Anchorage sent me a text informing me of what he believes to be the best deal on the lot, a used SUV he believes would be the perfect fit for me and my family. I looked at the SUV he recommended and sure enough it was a perfect fit. Beautiful and in excellent condition. I drove off the lot with my SUV that day. My kids were happy! Finally, the answer to my wishes of finding a safe quality vehicle in excellent condition was concluded. Mr Dave Williams kind consideration and insight helping match mine and my familys needs with a safe and classy SUV was after all the perfect match. Thank you Mr. Williams!!!


Service after sale of used cars is non-existent

Service after sale of used cars is non-existent. I purchased a used car from this dealer. After the deal was made and I was handed the key. I inquired about a second key. I was told there was only one. Note: Ford My keys are not cheap. Bottom line make sure you have everything before you sign the bottom line. If you don't they aren't going to do anything for you beyond calling you and trying to appease you. Pretty sorry that they would even get me a second key. Shady! Mark did offer me a gift certificate that would do me no good trying to secure a second key. The General Sales manager (Abraham) just wanted to blame me for not getting a addition items promised note prior to even knowing the key was missing. I'm pretty sure the $325.00 dollars they saved with this lack of service will not be business or reputation productive for the Lithia organization in the long run. It's to bad one dealership in an organization is so different from others in the same organization. Anchorage Hyundai has always provided outstanding customer service before and after the sale. Guess it is what it is. Just make sure if you buy a used car from them, make sure you have the spare tire, two keys, and etc. before signing the paperwork because once you sign you're on your own!

The promise of great customer service and quality repair are a joke. The receptionist is quite pleasant but the mechanics are unknowlegable. Our van was returned to us with a crooked bumper and the headlight was under the hood. I informed the supervisor e that I was not satisfied he then explained to me that kias are not like BMW's where parts actually fit the vehicles. They were actually trying to sell me on thier bad workmanship.

My husband and I saw an ad on TV for the KIA Sorento and we really like the way it looks. So we decided to go check one out. I hate car shopping, the whole process makes me nervous. The salesman, James was friendly and very informative he put me at ease. If he was presurring us to buy I couldn't tell! When it came time to negotiate we told him what we were willing to pay for the car, what we could afford each month and that we wanted to go home and think about it over night. What do you think he did? He simply asked us to schedule a time the next day to come back and see him and gave us his business card. We left and went to Mcdonalds and decided we couldn't wait until the next day. We went back and bought the Sorento we had picked out. It's Awesome and has so much more technology and safety equipment than our old car. Our payments are a little more than we wanted but way worth it, I Love my Sorento SXL! The next day James called and asked if we had any questions about how things like our bluetooth works. A few days later we got a thank you card from James in the mail. Its been about a month since we bought our Sorento and James called us today just to see how we are doing. That is why I decided to write this review. Thank you James Lintz for caring about us after the sale. To be fair there was really only one problem with our buying process...the ladies room at the dealership was not very clean and smelled terrible.
