What can I say. Among a dozen apples - dealers that we visited to check out cars and conduct test drives over several months, we were bound to find one that didn't taste so good. My experience with the sales staff and the sales manager at Lexus of Madison was quite a disappointment. Every other dealer I contacted could always accommodate me within a day or two of calling or emailing to set up an appointment for a test drive. Not this bunch. They always wanted to put me off for days at a time. During "crunch time", when I was soliciting prices from dealers, and where a Lexus ES 350 was at least a possibility for purchase, these folks were unable to provide an opportunity for a final test drive, and at first refused to provide a price quotation, stating that entering into such a process "devalues the luxury experience for everyone". Say what??? What do they think they are selling, Bentleys? Though they did eventually provide me with a quote, the discount wasn't even competitive with discounts openly disclosed online by other Lexus dealers in the state. What is more, during a test drive of an ES 300h earlier in the year, upon returning to the lot I wanted to make some measurements of things that I had found problematic on some of the other cars I had driven. During that same test drive, one of their biggest concerns was that I not put too many miles on the car. To top that off, the sales manager came out to the car during that process, and immediately starting pressing for a sale - behavior right out of the 1970s. Yeesh. (PS: The list of employees in dealer rater seems to be badly out of date for this dealership) [Oh, and charging people for Nitrogen in tires? Downright underhanded, if you ask me...]

I've had my sparkling new Lexus NX F Sport for one week. Nonetheless I thought I would share my initial impressions. It has been very rewarding experiencing this car and anticipate it should be a great leasing experience. Let me say that I live one mile from a Lexus dealership in Glendale, WI. But I did some homework and heard some positive things about Lexus of Madison, Penske dealerships, and salesperson John Ashworth. He works hard, is creative, technologically savvy, and stands apart from the crowd. Roger & Todd on the management side are above & beyond as well. In my view nothing is too much to ask. It's a Ritz Carlton experience. Regarding the deal, it was incredible and significantly less than my local dealer. I recommend John Ashworth and his team if you are considering Lexus. I also, of course, recommend the NX and its cool bling. Finally, don't be afraid of the car's technology. Lexus did their research & consumer testing & know what they are doing. Once you get used to it, it works effortlessly. Lexus excellence & Lexus of Madison customer experience are the best! Oh--One last thing: We are already working on a second Lexus from John and team and it's only been a few weeks. Really great!!

We recently bought a used car from Lexus of Madison and really enjoyed working with our sales person, Emily K. She was very pleasant to work with and made the car buying experience less painful for us. After driving the car for a couple of weeks, we had issues with our tires and one of their mechanics, Robert, was able to pinpoint the problem very quickly. He was very knowledgable and trustworthy. The issue could not be resolved by just rotating the tires so they gave us a set of new tires. The car's performance improved drastically. Lance Anderson, the used car manager was a great and fun guy to work with, so was Josh Anderson. Their customer service is top notch considering they took care of our problem very quickly and without charging us. All the staff we met were super friendly--creating a welcoming environment. I highly recommend Lexus of Madison to anyone who is looking for a new or used car!

Hello, I walked into Lexus of Madison after two years of watching the Lexus line -- I've wanted a Lexus 350 for several years -- after having to part with our 98 300 ES a number of years ago. Yesterday, as a 50th birthday present, was the day. Cinthya Santiago greeted us enthusiastically at the door and quickly impressed me with her knowledge of her product line, and her ability to read and meet my needs. I didn't feel any of that oppressive salesperson persona from Cinthya -- she was straight up on what could be offered in my price range and worked with us to craft the right solution at the right price. I will be back to work with Cinthya -- give her a call and setup an appointment!

I recently leased an RC 350 F Sport at Lexus of Madison. This transaction was assisted by Client Advisor, John Ashworth. While I was researching information about a Lexus coupe prior to my actual visit to the dealership, John was very helpful when I called. During my visit and the demo ride in this amazing vehicle, John was very patient with my questions as he explained all of the "bells and whistles." He reviewed the various options that are available in this model, explaining the differences between them as well as financing options. I had not known what to expect as to this visit as I have dealt exclusively with people that I have known for years at the Toyota dealership in La Crosse. I was very impressed with the demeanor of the staff from the moment I was welcomed by the receptionist to John's very capable assistance to the very knowledgeable financial advisor, Josh, who made the arrangements for my lease. I had been car searching for quite awhile with no success. After a long search, I happened to stumble upon a 2014 Lexus IS250 at Lexus of Madison and it seemed almost too good to be true. I was a little hesitant about driving the hour and a half to go see this car. However, after I made the call to Lexus of Madison and talked with John Ashworth to make sure the car was still available I started to feel a lot better. He actually took the time to search the lot and even take the time to send me a video of the car. It was very reassuring to be able to see actual live footage of the car before making the trip up there. Then after setting up and appointment and making the trip up there I can honestly say I had no regret with my decision at all. Not only was the dealership very clean but also it was full of little accommodations that made the overall car buying experience very relaxing. Who doesn't want a coffee, soda, or little snack to munch on while making a big decision? John Ashworth was my salesman and not only did he answer all of my questions but he also was patient. I truly felt like he cared about my overall car buying experience and wanted me to get a great deal. Also, all of the other staff members were super friendly and I never felt pressured the whole time I was there. I would definitely recommend Lexus of Madison and requesting John Ashworth to be your salesman. Also, if you live semi far away I can assure you it's worth the trip! I love my new car! :)

Most people have a "dream car". Mine was a Lexus RX350. When one would pass us on the highway, I'd tell my husband that when we won the lottery I was going to own a RX350. To my surprise, my husband was looking for one online. He saw two that he thought I would like. A salesperson named John Ashworth from Lexus of Madison gave my husband a call. We made an appointment later in the week to go see the cars. When we entered the dealership, we were offered something to drink while they paged John. When he came, we sat down with him and he took an interest in our lives and made us feel comfortable. We then went for a test drive in both of the RX350's. We chose the first one we drove. We picked it up a few days later. John made sure we knew his number one rule - If we had any questions or concerns we were to call him and he would take care of us! John was very personable and is a person you can trust to help you out when buying a new vehicle. Everyone at the dealership was friendly and made you feel important. I love my "dream car". I came in to look at trading in my car for a used Rx 350. I was very specific to what I was looking for and John told me he would call me as soon as something came in that fit my needs. A couple of days later the exact car showed up on the lot, and John immediately contacted me. With the help of both John and Kevin, I was given direction and advice on the best way to get this car. I felt like each person at the dealership was extremely helpful and willing to take care of us (no matter who's "deal" it was). In the end, John helped close the deal with all the information we needed before making our final decision. I am very happy as I now have the exact car I have been trying to find for several months (at several other dealerships). Lexus of Middleton will be my place for car shopping from here on forward. I couldn't be more satisfied.

My experience with Lexus of Madison was one of the most awesome inspiring experiences of my life. It all started when my car went on the brinks. At that point I thought my whole world would be turned upside down, so I started stressing about how I would get back and forth to work, running errands, just things we do to keep our lives going forward. After having my vehicle towed to Lexus of Madison, I wasn't sure what would happen next. So the next day I called Lexus of Madison and spoke with one of the receptionist there and explained my delima. I scheduled an appointment for that weekend. Upon my arrival, the first miracle started to happen. I was greeted by one of the concierge name Dan of the service department who has always treated me nice. Not only did they put me in a loaner car while determining what the issue was with my car. They allowed me to regain some of my sanity by having the loaner at my disposal until they figured out the problem with my car. After being greeted by Dan, I decided to hang around a little longer, so I started looking at the cars on lot. There was one particular car I was really interested in. I was then greeted by Matthew another great guy. I told Matt that I really liked this one car. After speaking with him he gave me his card to get in touch with him. A few days later I got the news on my vehicle which was a huge blow. I knew at that point I had a big decision to make. After speaking with Dan, I decided it would not be in my best instrest to invest any more money into my old car. I then ask Dan if he would connect me to the sales department where I then spoke with one of the receptionist . I asked if Matthew was available, she informed me that it was his day off but she could connect me with John Ashworth one of Matt colleagues. After been transferred to John Ashworth the second miracle started to happen. My experience with John was so enlighten and professional that he made the whole process very easy to understand which ultimately lead to me making a good business decision for me and my family. He truly was my guardian angel. The third miracle is when I got the call from John who said you are now the owner of a new 2016 Lexus SUV. The final miracle was getting to meet the whole team face to face at Lexus of Madison. There I met John, Matt, and another colleague of John in the main office, Josh and Sam. The final process was very smooth in its transition. I was fully informed about my new SUV. This meet was such an amazing experience. It was almost a year ago that I brought my 2010 ES 350 into Lexus of Madison for an oil change. My car had almost 166,000 miles on it. Let me add that I am a widow and travel to and from Chicago and Milwaukee frequently. Driving a safe, reliable car is of utmost importance to me. While waiting for my oil change, I took a walk to showroom. The 2015 Crafted Line ES 350 caught my eye. I kept going back to it, got inside and noted the price. I was introduced to John Ashworth and he answered more of my questions and asked about my life. At no time did I fee John was prying or calculating my responses in order to make a sale. He was thorough and as in love with the car as I was. As I showed more interest, John followed my lead and led me through a trade in that was doable. He was professional, friendly with a no pressure attitude. The entire purchase/trade-in happened over a weekend and I felt informed and comfortable with the whole process. At NO time did I ever feel taken for granted. John applied all the applicable discounts and even applied one I received in the mail from Lexus on the day I picked up the car. Chris Aakre is a fantastic salesperson and might be the best in all of Southcentral Wisconsin. Over our several month exhaustive search, my wife and I test drove a ton of cars from dealers literally all over the greater Madison area, sometimes driving up to an hour away to test drive a car. We even test drove cars in Illinois on our way back from a family vacation. At first, we didnt even know what we wanted. Once we did narrow it down a bit, we couldnt ever find it in our quite restricted price range. And its not like we didnt run into nice or helpful salespeople at other dealerships. But Chris was such a nice guy and seemed so generally interested in making sure our family got the right vehicle for us. He spent so much time answering our incessant emails and researching potential leads for us. He was funny, friendly, enthusiastic, extremely responsive and incredibly likable. Unfortunately, I have to admit that my wife and I didnt even end up buying a car from Chris. Despite his considerable effort, Chris was never able to get the used car we wanted in stock. In the end, we were just too particular and so we ended up buying our car from somewhere else way outside of Madison. But this is exactly why I think you should take this recommendation so seriously. Chris made us feel that he wanted us in the right car, even if he wasnt the one to sell it to us. To be perfectly honest, months later, we kind of miss talking to Chris. He will definitely be the first person we turn to when we are in the market for another car.

Just bought a ES350 floor model 2015. Chris Aakre helped me out very nicely throughout the process. First by talking to me about the different models and trying to find out my concerns and desires, and then going and doing the drive test on several different vehicles and models. All the while he kept pointing out the different features and options of each model and demonstrating every nicety that were on each model. Pinpointing the difference between models. When it came to getting prices, Chris was very helpful. Chris will give a straight deck while dealing, without being too pushy, always courteous, and trying to get the best deal for all parties involved. Eventually I took the info home and did my homework, and evaluate the models from Lexus and other brands. Then I made a decision and tried to get a lower price. Thanx to Chris and their staff we are able to come to a middle of the road agreement without hassle and much haggling. Very good! Now I got a very nice car and being a previous IS250 owner, I know that I got not only a great car but the service behind from Lexus and all the staff at Lexus of Madison, WI. Chris should be commended for his work, dedication, patience. I would like to deal with him any time again. Lexus of Madison should keep him for a long time. He is what Lexus has become. A great company.

I worked with John Ashworth and he made the entire process run smoothly and quickly. I needed an SUV and needed it in a hurry due to health issues. I'd always wanted a Lexus, so drove into Lexus of Madison and talked with Todd and then with John. There happened to be what I was looking for on the lot, and John allowed me to test drive a 450-H. An SUV was a big change for me so I returned several times and John allowed me to test drive it w/out any delays. I fell in love with the car and John was helpful getting everything together most expeditiously, including a price I could live with. It helped too that John's other area of expertise is physical training. We talked about my particular issues and how this car would be easier on my back. Todd, another back sufferer, even showed me a new, less painful way of getting in and out of the car. It's made a big difference for me. The entire crew at Lexus of Madison make the car buying experience run smoothly and w/out the usual stress. I never felt pressured. I took my 2004 Lexus RX 330 in for service back in 10/2015, and of course as I was looking at the newer models I was ready to upgrade, I met salesman Chris Aakre, he had A+ customer service, not only was he professional he was just really regular and not just trying to get a car sold, he wanted to make sure I got exactly what I was looking for, I told him what price range I would be in, they did not have anything at that time but Chris did promise me he would keep his eye out for an RX in my price range, I thought that was his way of getting rid of me, but to my surprise he kept his word, Chris called me about a week ago and told me had a vehicle there that he thought I might be interested in so I went in to look at it (in the mist of a family tragedy) so I thought why not go over and take a look, I needed something to make me feel better anyway (and it did), I immediately fell in love with the RX350, it had everything on it that I was looking for. In 2010 my husband, who is now deceased due to a lung disease, purchased a Lexus RX350 from this Lexus dealership. Unfortunately he only drove the vehicle twice before he passed. I drove the Lexus many times and enjoyed the way it handled, etc. When I decided to purchase another Lexus, I returned to this dealership because their staff are very friendly and welcome you as family. When I met Chris Aakre, I immediately felt at ease because he was extremely helpful. I was certain about the vehicle I was interested in, and Chris spent time explaining things about the new RX350 vehicle. After checking my trade-in vehicle, Chris came back with a very good offer. At this time, Lexus does not offer a gold package which I wanted; however, Chris was exceptional in looking into the possibility of my purchasing a gold package. Chris even checked the internet to see if there was a front gold emblem for the new vehicle that I could purchase. The new Lexus had a different setup for the rubber mats I had in my 2010 Lexus, and Chris helped me purchase the rubber floor mats I wanted. Chris is a pleasure to work with as he is very knowledgeable, professional, and a fun loving person who will go above and beyond his duties to make buying a new vehicle a great experience. We recently bought the new RX450 hybrid from Lexus of Madison, and this is the second Lexus we have bought from this dealership. Our experience, once again, was terrific. Chris Aakre, our salesman, was professional and friendly. We spoke to him while we were in FL to see when the new RX would be in. He diligently reasearched and followed up with us, even sending pictures and videos of the cars they had on the lot. We have purchased many cars in the past and have always dreaded the process UNTIL we went to Lexus of Madison. Staff is so welcoming, not pushy and lets you walk around and look without feeling the pressure of buying. In fact, we visited several times until we found the exact car we wanted. The only reason we found the perfect car for us was because of Chris Aakre. We told him the type of car we wanted and what our price range was. He kept in contact with us over several weeks just letting us know about different used cars that had become available. He let us test drive them and judge for ourselves the comfort and feel of each. He has the patience of a saint. But he never gave up and at the same time he was not annoying. Several days could go by before we returned his call and he never kept bugging us for a response. How cool is that? A dream come true when looking for a used car. Chris found us an AWD IS 250. And he went beyond customer satisfaction when we went to pick the car up. He wasn't pleased with the final detail work done on the car so he had us bring it back another day to have it buffed and treatment applied to it. I can't say enough how pleased we were with Chris. It's like he almost became family because he was so fun to be with and easy to work with. We will definitely come back to Chis and Lexus on all future car purchases.

Chris and the team at Lexus of Madison afforded me the priviledge of buying my wife and myself our first family car. Our car-buying experience was non-traditional in that we did essentially the whole deal over the phone and through e-mail. My wife and I are extremely satisfied with the 2012 GX 460 that we purchased. The first and one of the most important things that I can tell you is that this dealership and their web department provide you with honest pictures/descriptions/and overall presentation of the car in which you are interested. The car that we purchased was unseen until we drove the 7+ hours to purchase our car in Madison. The car was in excellent condition and was exactly what Chris had described to us. Chris is a unique individual in that I do not see him as a "car salesman,", but instead he was an advocate for me and my family during the process. The most important thing that he discussed with me was that this process of purchasing a car is truly a "small life journey" that ultimately impacts my family for years to come. It was my perception that it was crucial for him to get me in the right car. We are thankful for the experience. Lastly, we did trade in a 2003 Honda Accord. I gave Chris the good and bad of the car. Lexus of Madison gave me a quote and gave me exactly what they quoted upon seeing the car. The bottom line is that this is a special, family oriented dealership. My wife and I are so please, and I will be calling Chris when it is time for my family to purchase another vehicle. I hope that this helps any of those out there that are concerned about buying sight-unseen. This dealership will treat you well.

Let me start off by saying my salesman Chris Aakre was the best!!!!!It all started with me shopping online looking for a GS 430 I found it at Madison I put my information in and the very next day Chris was on the case. Chris was very friendly professional and knowledgeable of the vehicle this made me very comfortable. Chris stayed in constant contact with me as I was a thousand miles away he sent me text messages endless pictures and videos of the GS. We spoke at least three times a week for a month keeping me informed of what was going on. Once everything was finalized the detail team clean the heck out of this car it was beautiful. Now this is where Chris went above and beyond I had a Saturday flight which I got bumped off of because I was on standby ( flying the cheap way )I was so upset..well Chris said don't worry about it whenever you get a flight you let me know I got a flight the very next day the flight was delayed. Chris picked me up from the airport drove me to the dealership (which was closed mind you) 9 o'clock pm on his day off If that's not dedication and customer service I don't know what it is. I am very pleased that I purchased a Lexus from Lexus of Madison and will recommend it to others. The Car, a 350RX, is a wonderful car with many nice features, more than I can use and learn but still a wonderful automobile. From the first day I walked into the dealership The friendly and knowledgeable sales staff worked hard to attempt to show me a car I could feel comfortable in. I was replacing my Lincoln Towncar, with a Lexus and am pleased that I did so. The financing position was outstanding and I opted to utilize that instead of paying cash for the vehicle. I purchased the vehicle the last day of August and it is now November 17 and I already have over 7,000 miles on it. The car is more comfortable than the Lincoln was and drives like a dream and is fun to drive.

My husband and I had been looking for a CTS Wagon for about a year when we found on at this dealership. Chris Aakre was our Sales Executive and provided phenomenal assistance. He sent a video of the car, 84 pictures, and kept consistent communication with me. Because this was an out-of-state sale I believe the buying process takes longer. I will say that the finance portion of this purchase needs a whole lot of work. Although I am not completely sure who actually handles the financing, I believe the person was out of the office at the time. The back up was Jeanie, I had to initiate all communication with her. I already had financing but was told I needed to leave a deposit which I did not understand. I'm ready to pay for the car right now, why do I need to pay a deposit for paperwork? There is no paperwork. I am not financing the car through you. I give you a check, you call the bank, badda boom. Needless to say 4 days go by of phone tag to pay this "deposit" and I finally get her and she says "oh, you don't need to pay the deposit if you have financing". On 10/19 my paperwork went to finance; on 11/9 financing finished and I officially owned the car. Other than the Finance portion this experience of buying a car on-line was scary but made amazing because of Chris. Top shelf service, emails and phone calls routinely, and pictures of your car randomly just so you get to see it that day. He answered his phone addressing me by name and even took time on his days off to answer any questions I had. I really cannot say enough he was simply "Old School Customer Service" back when customer service meant something luxury.

The salesman we worked with, Chris A., was one of the most credible, down-to-earth sales' person we have ever worked with before. My husband has an aversion to most car salesmen, but he absolutely liked and trusted Chris. He was honest about a car we liked and seemed to hide nothing. In fact, he did not act like a salesman at all. SO refreshing. He steered us to a car that couldn't be better for me. I love it so much. Any time I have a question, he makes sure he's available. His response time is lightening quick. I can't imagine ever working with anyone else from now on when we need a vehicle. The only reason I didn't give this review 5 stars is because we only have one key for the car and it's our responsibility to get another one, which has been very difficult. It believe it should be the dealership's responsibility to get us a second set.

Bought a used 2011 Lexus ES350. The overall quality of the vehicle and buying experience was not what I would expect from a Lexus dealership. Pros: Very friendly and helpful sales staffCons: Car was missing floor mats and owner's manual. - There were 3 different brands of tires car. - Waited 45 minutes for the car to be detailed and after that wait it was still not clean. - There was a mystery fee of $99, which we later learned was for filling tires with nitrogen. At the very least, the reason for the charge should have been clearly identified, and we should have been given the chance to refuse nitrogen and fill the mismatched tires with good old AIR.

Bought a Lexus RX 350 off the show room floor. Battery was dead which is totally normal for a showroom floor model because of customers turning it on to check out the accessories a lot. Someone from the Sales department came to give it a jump and incorrectly placed the cables. Sparks started flying and he blew a fuse. Took them an additional 24 hours to repair the vehicle. Had to come to the dealership 4 times in all to finally drive the car off the lot. They replaced all four uses. They provided documentation of the mistake and promised me the vehicle is all good. I think this was just a fluke and hopefully that employee won't make the same mistake again!

Typical used care purchase experience. The salesman returns to the manager to haggle the deal several times. I asked why not let me talk to the manager directly, was told he was "working too many deals" but then the manager showed up. When deciding to purchase out of town due to the car I was interested in having no used models in my state, I made the decision to purchase from name-brand / reputable dealers only. I purchased a used vehicle which I found through cars.com at Lexus of Madison. The add was listed as a non-smoker, I confirmed it in an email (still have), and followed up via phone. When I arrived in Madison after a 4hr drive (one-way rental) I discovered the vehicle had indeed been smoked in. Having no way back and being assured that it hadn't been smoked in but if it did cleaning would take care of it, I made the mistake of purchasing the vehicle. The smell haunted me every time I entered the car and every person who sat in it with me attested to the presence of the smell. After two professional cleanings and the smell returning each time they did finally agree to buy the car back. I will give them credit for buying the vehicle back, many dealerships would not have done that. For this they deserved credit indeed. However, the fact remains they took advantage of someone buying online and traveling to get the car, and proceeded to deny at every turn the car had ever been smoked in, when to all outsiders it was laughably obvious. Silly me for being talked into it in the first place.

I went to Lexus just looking for a used car to get me around, I found a reasonably priced ford explorer and emailed Mr. Kropp about it. Shortly after I went for a test drive and decided to buy it. The loan process went very smoothly as well as their staff helping me with all the paper work I needed to fill out. The prices and interest are reasonable and everyone there was very friendly and ready to make me feel comfortable and at ease! It's nice to know you can trust somebody who works at a dealership. Mr. Kropp himself was also very helpful with my questions and worries about the car and process, and made sure to keep in contact about the car after it was sold (even with no warranty because it was so old). Purchased a car 8/13/13 - paid in full with no lien but we have received no certificate of title furnished as of 10/2/13. We were told that since we live in IL they "couldn't give us the title - it is something new" that we had to pay them the IL title and license fees and they mail it all to department of motor vehicles and transfer the plates. Calls 9/18/13 & 9/25/13 we were told they checked with Kane Co IL motor vehicle and licensing in process. Also on 9/25/13 found out that the "new" procedure of not giving clear title is only their dealership and not a law as implied when we purchased. Also that the other large fee that we were told by the salesman was legally required to see if we were xxxxxxxxxx that was really mainly just to pay for them to do THEIR paperwork - only legal part is they have to look at a list on line to see if our names were on it - cannot recall exact amount but I think it was about $199 or so. On 10/2/13 was told process hasn't even started - they got the car from another dealer and today the story is that they have never received the title even though they paid other dealer for the car on 8/13/13--is quite worrisome that a title is in dealership heaven and paperwork that were we told was at Kane Co IL motor vehicle for 2 weeks suddenly has not even been sent to dealership yet. Would recommend no vehicle be purchased at Lexus of Madison unless you receive the title IN HAND when you give them your money. Hoping to get a resolution soon--but even so very scared to purchase a car then again.

Most people will see a Lexus dealership and think that they will be treated different if they are not there to buy a Lexus or spend a lot of money on a vehicle. This is not the case with Lexus of Madison. They were all about customer service! From the moment we spoke with Matt we were very impressed. He was kind and courteous and answered all of our questions. They took excellent care of us while we waited for our car to be ready, and made sure to answer any questions we may have. On top of that they made sure that we left with a full tank of gas. They called to make sure that the car is still doing ok for us and see if we had any questions after having it for a couple days. They have went above and beyond what I have experienced in the past at other dealerships. I know I will go back to them in the future for other cars......especially since we have three other drivers coming up in the family! We could not be happier with our recent purchase from Lexus of Madison! My husband and I have looked for a low mileage, excellent condition 2010 Lexus Rx350 for a couple of months now. We found several vehicles that looked good on their website, so we made the 2 hour drive to the dealership. Based on reviews we've seen here, we asked for Tim Feldt. Wow, what a nice guy! He showed us numerous vehicles and we test drove the one we liked most. In the meantime, he coordinated getting our Acura (trade-in) appraised. In the end, we purchased the Lexus for what we wanted to pay for it, and they gave us what we had hoped for for ours. Typically we find the car buying experience both exciting and stressful (because we often feel we're not getting as good of a deal and we should/could get). This was a refreshing change!! We will definitely be doing more business with Lexus of Madison. We're VERY HAPPY with the vehicle and the buying experience was a very pleasant one.

The service was awful. I paid for my car to have a sealant put on it and they scratched my car so badly that it had to be sent to a body shop. When I finally picked it today, 1 week later it was dirty and there are buff marks all over the car. Once they get your money you mean nothing to them.

What a fantastic experience with Lexus of Madison! After doing an extensive search in MN for the "perfect fit" as far as a 2010 Lexus RX 350, I expanded my search to include Wisconsin, to discover that Lexus of Madison had the exact car I was looking for, and at a price MUCH lower than any of the MN dealerships. It was too good to pass up! I spoke with Ryan on the phone who was extremely helpful and easy to work work, and who walked through the whole buying process. All of this was done remotely, so there certainly was a level of trust necessary, but Ryan made it really easy to trust Lexus of Madison. The experience got even better when we arrived. Ryan took us for a test drive to ensure we were happy with the car, Matthew walked through all of the financial paperwork and answered all of our questions, and Sam was great with the delivery process, pointing out all of the many features of the new car. Everyone was very helpful from the time I walked on the lot to even now owning my RX350. Jerry came out on the lot after giving my friend and I a chance to look at a few of the vehicles. From there Jerry informed us on the different vehicles that were on the lot and helped me narrow down my search for which one I wanted to test drive and possibly own. Karen helped me the next day over the phone because Jerry wasn't working. She told me about my credit check, options I could have on the vehicle, etc. I called her back a few times and she was polite every time. Linda was fabulous! However, I was very disappointed about a couple of things.I had to replace both windshield wipers because they were both broken, which cost me $60. I didn't notice this right away until it rained a week later. I believe that whoever detailed the car stipped them. I would like you to know this so that this doesn't happen to another customer in the future.Also, my radio doesn't work very well at all. It is scratch and staticy a lot of the time on many of the local radio stations. When I called Linda about this I was referred to Ballweg. Ballweg did a horrible job and merely turned on the radio and said it worked. According to their report they didn't do in-depth examination of the antenna. I feel like they didn't want to do any work since the car was under warrenty. My radio is still not up to par and I feel like it might be faulty.

Of the eleven vehicle buying experiences I have had in the past forty years, this was by far the most satisfying, and I would give my salesman the lion's share of the credit. He provided me with extremely detailed information about the vehicle, more than I have ever been given in any other purchase. My first contact with Jeff was over the phone; he was cordial, responsive and precise. I was provided with further answers to my questions via email; some of his responses were three paragraphs long! My visit to the dealership was a revelation: quiet, elegant surroundings where a buyer could contemplate the purchase in comfort. At no time was there "hubbub" or a background din making careful consideration difficult. I found Jeff extremely knowledgeable about the vehicle and could discuss at length the various features and why they were important. We came to an agreement on price within five minutes. He explained the various components that went into the price and why the dealership could be flexible (or not). I felt that I was getting a first-rate automobile at a reasonable, fair price. On the day that my wife and I took delivery of the car, Karen walked us through the paperwork in an efficient and friendly manner. We joked about money matters, but always with a sense of good humor. From the time I called in to set an appointment to see a sales executive, I felt treated like a good, repected friend.The sales person spent many hours with me, helping me pick my car, get quotes on trade-in, get financing information, etc. She even drove around with me to get the new (used) car checked by my mechanic and pick up my trade-in car. She continued to treat me with great respect throughout the entire process.After I bought the car, there were service items that needed to be handled, and my sales person picked up my new purchase at my workplace and left me with a loaner car. The loaner car was not the typical loaner - it was a 2011 model of the same used car I purchased. It was probably a $45,000 car, in comparison with the $1200 beaters I've gotten before as loaners.All work was completed as promised, and communication was clear and consistent throughout the whole process. I was very upset with Lexus customer service in CA. They did not stand behind their warranty on my 2007 RX. I vowed to never buy another Lexus. I visited the Madison location with yet another weird problem with my RX (another $1800, after $2500 earlier this year). Then, they made a liar out of me. I bought another Lexus. So, I ate crow with friends and family, who knew of my vow vs Lexus.THe Lexus of Madison personnel were very down to earth; applied no pressure; and seemed to genuinely care about me as a Lexus owner and the bad deal that I received from their home office customer service in CA in January 2011. (That gal in CA that handled my warranty claim should be fired (and I am not that sort of guy). She did not give a crap about me or the fact that my RX began to have problems in -18 weather in Northern WI, at least 4-5 hour drive from your nearest Lexus dealership in the middle of a December night. People in CA do not know how dangerous -18 can be. If I would have pulled over to wait for roadside assistance, I would have froze to death.) Also, it was very late at night, and other road traffic was nearly nil. Civilization in Northern WI, in the middle of the night, in the dead of winter, is like Siberia.Mark and another associate in service took me in (after they were closed) and gave me a safer, loner RX to drive home. They fixed my driver's seat, which somehow became dislodged from its running track ($1800)....Linda was my sales associate. She was outstanding before, during and after the sale....Karen took my money, which is always painful, but she made the best of it.....I even crossed paths with the Dealership manager in the parking lot last Saturday, and we exchanged friendly words on the surprise inch or two of snow we received during the night (12/17)......And, their receptionist (Patti) is also very friendly and down to earth. I will recommend this dealership to friends and associates in the future.

Lexus of Madison is not too far from La Crosse, WI where we lived. Based on the reliability of the brand, we decided to give it a try. Linda is the sales representative in Lexus of Madison. She was great to work with, very flexible and sincere to our questions and certainly did not impose any high pressure to close the deal. The family oriented style of the dealership certainly posed an attraction for our kids. They loved walking around the dealership and the game room, not to mention the cooler and hot coco/chocolate machine. Overall, we love our car and the friends that we made in Madison. Will certainly recommend anyone who wants to experience luxury car and pamperment in Lexus of Madison.

I wish people in the Milwaukee area knew about the Madison Lexus dealership. I think many people would go there. We have leased two Lexuses now at Lexus of Madison. The price has been better and the service was great. Jeff drove the car to our home in the Milwaukee area (about 90 miles) and spent a lot of time with us explaining the details of the vehicle. We couldn't be more positive about the dealership and we like the Lexus brand very much.

We have always been extremely satisfied with Lexus quality, we have had maintenance performed on our SUV in the past at Lexus of Madison.
