I'm a first time buyer of a Porsche. I recently purchased a 2016 911 GTS with the help of Mike Reeve, Nathan Hansen, and Alex Wilson. I had a great experience with Fritz Piatt. I was looking for a pre-owned vehicle and unfortunately they didn't have what I was looking for. Fritz brought me inside and we were able to find the perfect vehicle at another Leith store. He called them, got the vehicle to his store and we were able to make a deal. Robert Was Fantastic...Class A dealer.

I just had to write this review, because you can learn a lot about a dealership from how they treat a customer when the purchase does NOT happen. I was set to fly out to purchase a car from Robert at Leith from Ohio, but do to unfortunate circumstances was unable to complete the trip and the transaction. Many (most) dealerships would be impossible to work with after such an encounter. I had already submitted a deposit, and Robert had already taken the car off the market. Robert was understanding, easy to work with, and was absolutely fantastic to me. I know that when I am in the market again I will absolutely consider their dealership, simply for well I was treated despite not being able to complete the purchase. Buy with confidence.

Making a Dream Come True

Good fortune smiled and about 3 weeks ago I found what I was looking for with the Porsche SearchAgent tool in the price range I wanted and under the conditions I wanted (the tool filters worked perfectly, entered the actual 911 models I was willing to consider and went down the list until finding two good candidates - the first one was sold during inquiries - the second was locked in early. The challenge - the car was in North Carolina near Raleigh at Leith Porsche (http://www.leithporsche.com/reviews.html), I live near Orlando but travel to Raleigh occasionally for work. The Porsche search tool shared my contact and Robert Brooks at Leith contacted me within the day. Robert answered all my questions over the phone, email and text messages. My job was keeping me busier than usual with overseas trips over those 3 weeks and making it impossible for me to visit the dealer early in the process. We even made arrangements to pick up the car a week ago and my flights back from overseas ran into delays and cancellations. Through all Robert and Leith were more than patient and accommodating. So yesterday was the day. Free from work obligations and other impediments, I took a short early flight to Raleigh (thank you Southwest!). Robert picked me up at the airport in a brute black Panamera (my wife could not believe the dealer was picking me up...! No Toyota dealer has done that for her... :). Gives a whole new meaning to "domestic/remote delivery". The car was ready, the paperwork was fast, my car intro was efficient and off I went By 10:30am. 5 Stars; 10 out of 10 for Leith and Robert!

Researching a replacement car for a 2010 model, I contacted Leith Porsche by email, and quickly was introduced to Robert Brooks. Robert helped me to understand their Cayenne inventory by both email and phone, so we scheduled an in-person visit. Robert met us outside as soon as my wife and I drove up, and was amazing in his knowledge of the features and the inventory. The car he first picked and had ready to go is the one we bought. But not before a second visit, during which Robert explained a different model we were considering. His patience and his knowledge, and such a positive personality, resulted in us buying a new Porsche Cayenne with the right combination of features. Fine experience

Both the Salesman, Nathan Hansen, and the Sales Manager, John Alvi, were a pleasure to deal with. Unfortunately, unlike other Porsche Dealers I have purchased from in the past, this dealership does not provide a free concierge service for picking up and returning your (CPO) car when it needs service. I'm not sure what the policy is for new cars, though. With that one exception, I can highly recommend doing business with this team.

Fantastic Dealership Experience with Leith

I have owned BMW 3 series for 11+ years. I work close to Leith Porsche, so going to BMW on Capital before/after work has been quite a hassle. I was also looking to get a smaller, 2 seat, manual, vehicle as a daily drive. The Cayman was one of my top choices., though I was nervous about Porsche in general. I stopped by Porsche to look at some used Cayman's and met Brad Shafer. He was very open and honest about the cars, pricing, etc. After my first drive in a Cayman I knew that would be my next vehicle. Brad worked with Chris in Service to give me a very detailed list of maintenance and pricing that I could run into over the next 60K miles as I was concerned about this. This was fantastic, and it helped me to much better understand the costs of ownership. It took a few weeks, but the perfect Cayman came in for me. Brad knew exactly what I was looking for, and when I received the call I knew it'd be the one. After a test drive on some backroads around the Power Plant I was sold on that car. We negotiated and shook hands on the way back, I didn't want anyone else to get this Cayman! I really enjoyed conversations with Brad as well, very personable and easy to talk to. He was also very responsive throughout the entire process, I knew I wanted to do business with Brad and was glad the right Cayman came in.Alex in Finance made the paperwork extremely painless - it was the smoothest and fastest vehicle transaction I have had to date. Extremely easy purchase with Robert Books.

Robert Brooks at Leith Porsche made the purchase of our new to us Porsche Panamera exceedingly easy. My wife and I went to look at a specific used car and Robert came out while we were looking. I was shopping nationwide for a Porsche Cayenne S and I found one at Leith Porsche. Bought cpo 911S from Nathan Hansen from 1300 miles away. Open honest communication, no pressure, and very knowledgable of the car, remote registration, and shipping. I had been looking for a few months for a Porsche Cayman when I stumbled across Leith Porsche online. They had a beautiful CPO listed with everything I wanted. Just one problem....I live in Florida. I had never made such a purchase long distance before but after speaking with Phillip Marquis he reassured me that with high end cars such as this it is not uncommon. With some trepidation I took him at his word and am I ever glad I did. He took care of every detail from the deposit to delivery. From the time of the deposit on my credit card to taking possession of the car at my house was only a week. Phillip took care of all paperwork dealing with titling, taxes, and registration in my home state, and even arranged for transport by one of his local vendors. We were seriously looking at another make altogether but decided to stop by Leith just to check out the Cayenne in person, since we were already in the Autopark area. We walked into the showroom and asked for an available salesperson, as we had no appointment. We won the lottery when Phillip Marquis came our way!! He was very personable, extremely knowledgeable, and wasted no time educating us on the Cayenne. I test drove a base model and loved it! We made a list of options and Phillip went to work to locate one. Once we left the dealership, I had fallen in love with Porsche and was excited to have such an awesome salesperson to work with! Above and beyond

So you find yourself stuck on the side of the road with your car's check engine light glaring at you and the service department is closed. What do you do? Unfortunately, that was my situation recently. What I discovered was that both Jason and Phillip at Leith Porsche will go way above and beyond the call of duty to make sure you're taken care of. Not only did they both offer to come and pick me up and drive me home, but they found a way to get my car taken to their service dept and me into a car and back on the road. They took a situation that was extremely troubling and stressful and handled it in a way that made me extremely grateful to be a customer of Leith Porsche. The kicker is that although they've been servicing my car for a while, I didn't even purchase it there. There is no doubt that will change the next time I'm in the market.

I was shopping for a very specific vehicle, and Leith Porsche happened to have a used one that was a trade-in. My husband and I first came to check out the car on Black Friday, and had a very low-pressure test drive with Bill. We left the dealership and I continued to do more shopping and researching over the next week. Brian Hershey then took over for Bill and reached out to follow up with us a few days later. We made a second visit to the dealership and began the purchase process. Brian was friendly and made the usually stressful process of buying a vehicle very easy! Leith Porsche-Nathan Hansen-Sales

Nathan was a big help to us in the purchase of our Porsche Cayenne. He showed us all the features on the Porsche and explained the advantages/disadvantages of the different models. We were less interested in engine power than other features and he quickly pointed us in the direction of a beautiful 2014 model with a lot of add ons which included a full roof window. The SUV had a peppy 6 cyl engine but was not turbo charged. This auto is actually good on gas but has a great 2nd/3rd gear for fast highway driving. Overall, our experience at Leith was excellent

It's really bad when they completely ignore you and don't return your call when trying to deal with an issue, almost 3 months now! The bottom line is they don't care about your time and they're not trustworthy. They are living examples of HORRIBLE customer service representatives. They're a joke! They definitely need some training on customer service and on how to do there job right the first time... And the GM assured me that he would help me.. HA he's a bigger joke.. Horrible job GM!!! Excellent Experience

We are two people who do not like to car shop. Of course not ideal timing, and we found ourselves in need. So having done our homework looking for a new-to-us vehicle, we found one that seemed as close to perfect as we could get. My husband called the dealership to ensure the vehicle was still available and ask a couple preliminary questions. That was the first encounter with Brad. The next day we visited, he immediately greeted, test drove and discussed numbers. He was not the stereotypical salesperson one might expect. He read us well, pushed an appropriate amount and understood as we left without purchase. Sure, it would have been great to wrap it up then but that wasn't right for us. So we called the next morning and said we'd be in. We were serious and so was he...the 'let's make this happen' conversation. We call it the 'game', he called it the 'process' - it was more like a process this time. He was prepared, vehicle ready and we were in and out in a jiffy. If you want a no nonsense professional, he's great. Most excellent experience overall. Really pleased with our 2015 Lexus RX 350.

Excellent salesmanship even though I did not buy

My wife and I had an excellent experience with Robert Brooks. I met Robert while my wife and I were researching vehicles to purchase down the road (about 6 months away). Robert let us thoroughly test drive any vehicle we wanted all of which originally had an MSRP above $100K! He was very knowledgeable, patient and did not pressure us into buying. I have been to a lot of dealerships and have pruchased numerous vehicles in the past and have never had a great experience until recently when I went to Leith Porsche and purchased my 911 Targa 4s. I have been shopping around for a Porsche Cayman for almost a year. After quite a bit of internet research I began to visit Porsche dealerships in the NC Triangle area. I was disappointed with the service I received from several dealers until I visited Leith Porsche. I walked in and was greeted by Phillip Marquis- I was quickly impressed by how well he listened to me rather than just launching into a sales pitch. He patiently showed me the CPO cars that they had on the lot, discussed the pros and cons of each one, and took me out to drive a few. I then asked about ordering a car that had the combination of options that I wanted and Phillip took hours helping me design the car of my dreams. He was extremely knowledgable about every option and was very open and honest about the value of each, he took his time helping me make decisions, and genuinely enjoyed the process with me. After the car was built online I left the dealership with my build sheet to think things over. Phillip did not pressure me at all and I returned a few days later to finalize the order but wanted review some of the options first. He helped me rethink a few options and again was very honest about which options he felt were worth the cost and which ones I would probably be able to live without. I placed my order and took delivery two months later- while I was waiting for my car to be built and shipped, Phillip always responded to emails and phone calls immediately. I arrived at the dealership interested in a couple of CPO Caymans they had. Phillip Marquis answered my questions, took me on a test drive and I bought one of them that day. He even followed me home so I could use my old car's garage door opener to get back into my house. He's very personable, as well as being knowledgeable and passionate about the brand. I've recently relocated to the Cary, NC area for a new job and have started the journey of eventually purchasing my dream car - a Porsche 911, 991. I've been to the dealership on a handful of occasions just to stare in awe of the wonderful selection Leith Porsche has to offer. Nathan has been helping me with all of my questions and concerns. He knows it will still be sometime before I can make that commitment and he is 100% supportive and not pushy at all. His knowledge of the Porsche brand is uncanny. I scheduled an appointment to take one of the certified 991's Leith had for a test drive just so I can see what I'm looking forward to. Nathan was tied up with an appointment that had ran a little late and asked his colleague Brad Shafer to ride along with me. Brad was incredibly knowledgeable about the Porsche 991's, as well. He let me sit in the car for as long as I wanted after the test drive to just take in all the sights, sounds, and smells of that wonderful interior and the wonderful experience I just had. Anyone thinking of going to Leith Porsche for their next purchase or service appointment should not hesitate one second further. Make sure you ask for Nathan or Brad when you go, though :)

When re-locating from Germany to North Carolina earlier this month, I was looking for a used car. My criterias were not the easiest, but Leith Porsche had the perfect car. I was looking for a German brand, not too old, rather low in mileage and overall a nice car. While looking at different cars online, I found a 2012 Mini that Leith Porsche Cary had posted online bc one of their customers had traded it in. It directly catched my attention and I wrote a txt msg to the Leith Porsche team. I received an answer within minutes and on the same day drove to Cary to test drive it. Directly fell in love with the little car and it perfectly served my needs. Unfortunately due to moving from another country and administrative things behind that, buying the car didnt seem to be easy and I was sad leaving the Porsche center and the car as I thought I would not be able to buy it. Nathan did everything to make it possible for me as a foreigner in a moving-phase to purchase the car. From prior experience as a single female buying a car can be a hassle. I was ready to purchase my dream car, but I was excited and nervous at the same time. My first visit to a car lot to conduct research about my dream car a year ago the sales man told me I should not purchase a Panamera. A year later (March 2015) I went to Leith Porsche and meet Sales Representative Nathan Hansen. Nathan was very professional and also very knowledgeable about purchasing the vehicle I wanted. This has been the best care experience for me; I highly recommend Nathan to everyone especially my family and friends. Definitely looking forward to my next Panamera in the years to come.

I went to test drive the 2013 911 Carrera cabriolet 4S that they had and with Nathan's knowledge about the car showing me how it all worked and letting me drive it I knew it had to come home. Our appointment lasted over 2 hours and he had to reschedule another he had as we had taken so long but he never let on that we were "interfering with another sale from a potential client". He even went over it again when we picked it up and has called to see if we had any other questions. Alex has been wonderful to come pick up the car and leave us a Panamera for a loaner while they had the car simonized which we bought. I wouldn't go anywhere else to buy a another Porsche. They are all very friendly and professional as well as know their high performance cars inside and out. We are very satisfied. We feel we got a good value and didn't think that would happen at a dealer. We will return as my husband wants the Panamera, then we will be up to 3 Porsche's, including my 1986 911 targa that got me hooked on Porsche. Great driving experience and so well made. We have named her Ruby Pearl as she is white with a red rag roof and to die for red leather interior. Sweet..............There is no doubt in my mind that if I have any questions or concerns that both Nathan and Alex will be responsive.

Custom Order with Robert Brooks

Robert Brooks made the custom ordering process for my 2015 Cayman one of the most pleasant car buying experiences that I have ever had. Since I live a 5+ hour drive away from Cary, everything (except for the final delivery) was handled by e-mail and phone. I configured my order on porsche.com, discussed the configuration with Robert (he had an excellent suggestion for my wheel selection, which I had overlooked). He placed the order in early January 2015, and the Cayman arrived in early April. The actual purchase and pick-up process (which was the first time that I actually met Robert in person) went quickly and easily. Robert described the more important features of the Cayman, and then my wife and I hit the road for a wonderful drive back home. After a string of Jaguars and BMWs, this is my first Porsche. What a machine!
