Shawn was a blessing for me, literally. I called him at 8 AM to inquire about a Honda Civic I'd saw online. I needed to make my purchase in 1 day! Even though I ended up at the wrong dealership, was 2 hrs away, and he had no idea if I would even buy the car; he offered not only to pick me up but also to bring me back to my destination. All in an effort to get me that Honda the same day!! Well...I saw the Honda and it was perfect! Exactly as listed. In less than an hour the car was cleaned, full of gas, and I was chilling in my new Honda Civic. I have never had such an extraordinary experience as that when buying a car! Absolutely wonderful. Shawn was the best

We had gone in to Leith Friday after hours to scout out vehicles we were interested in. We went back Saturday afternoon & waited 20 minutes before someone had acknowledged us. We passed by a salesperson a couple time & not once did he acknowledge that no one was helping us. After waiting 20 minutes we finally ended up waking inside, so we could get someone to help us...this is where I ran in to Shawn, he apologized for them being short handed & that no one had gone to see if we needed help. Alex (sales person that walked by us 2x) had walked over to us as well & walked outside w/me, I told him what we were looking at & he ended up taking us to a truck that we were NOT interested in, but he had just test drove w/some other people. We didn't understand why he was trying to get us to test drive a truck we didn't ask to see...thankfully Shawn came back out to us & "started" from scratch after I told him we were not interested in vehicle Alex had gotten keys for. At this point, we were not happy w/Leith Dodge, but unfortunately they had truck we wanted. Shawn listened to what we were wanting & took us on a couple test drives, we wanted to compare a 2015 used TD vs 2016 new Eco. Shawn was the BEST after our bad experience in the beginning, he turned it around for us & made it a GREAT selling experience! I highly recommend this dealership. The salesperson, Alex Wright, was extremely helpful with me in getting what I wanted, no confusing spiels, long sales pitches, or dodging questions. The process was very straightforward, and I found the staff there to be friendly and very welcoming. We found a match for the vehicle I wanted that was about 300 miles away. This dealership sent a driver up there, didn't charge me, and had the vehicle at the dealership in a day and a half. The only complaint I have is that they forgot to give me the proof of purchase to me the day I picked up my vehicle, but maybe that was due to me rushing out the door. The facilities were very clean, handicap accessible, and pleasant music was playing. I would definitely recommend you shop here if you live in and around the Southern Pines, NC area!

We came back for a reason

The guys at Leith CDJR in Aberdeen took such good care of my Rubicon when a sensor went bad last year, that when my wife decided to get her own Jeep, they were the first name that came to mind. We did check the local dealerships first, since Leith is about an hour away from us, but ultimately we got the best deal and the best service in Aberdeen. We dealt with Eric Britt, and he actually remembered us from the year before when I brought my jeep in for service. Overall just a nice, genuine guy that doesn't come off as a stereotypical "car salesman". Personally it felt like I was hanging out with a buddy, and ended up leaving with a new Grand Cherokee. Pretty good afternoon if you ask me. I definitely recommend checking out Leith CDJR in Aberdeen, even if you have to come from out of town, it's worth the drive.

Great service and price: used jeep purchase

Recently purchased a preowned Jeep Wrangler Sport 2014. The car was in excellent condition, including some well-done dealer modifications (over-sized tires and lift). Our sales representative, Scotty Durkin was excellent: very informative but not too pushy, personable, and professional. He made sure that his motivation to sell was not to the detriment of our needs and desires. He took time to understand our needs and expectations and did not try to push a product or option that we did not want. Scotty was the best part of this purchasing experience and was a major reason that we selected this dealership. There were some mis-steps in the dealer financial department (incorrectly assuming that we wanted to finance through the dealer) and a little bit of a pressure sale for "add-on" warranties, but at least they were personable and backed down when I declined.

Terrible Experience & Customer Service

Beware! After several phone calls, texts, and emails we drove 3 hours to buy a used 2010 car from Dannie at thi s dealership. Being 3 hours away, we asked Dannie, the sales person to let us know of any damage, dents, or dings to the car. He stated the car was in good shape and sent us a text of a one scratch on the car, and we confirmed back to him asking is this a scratch or dent? He said again a scratch. Dannie called us a day later asking us to come in and spoke to my husband. Now my husband asked are there any other dents, dings, or issues with the car, as we didn't want to get there and be disappointed, especially my son who we were purchasing the car for. By phone, Dannie again confirmed, nothing else wrong with the exterior and confirmed again a scratch. We drove that evening to purchase the car for my son. When we arrived, the car had been completely misrepresented. We counted over 7 dings & metal damage on the 2010 car and the rear fiberglass bumper was cracked where the car had been backed into something. Even Dannie's described scratches turned out to be dings in the cars fender, easily spotted. Dannie had no explanation for his misrepresentation of the vehicle. The sales manager acted as if it was our problem, and said "What did you expect for this low price?" and even stated "Did you look at the car pictures and enlarge them on the internet?" Which we had reviewed in detail, and also relied on Dannie to be our eyes. Shocked by this treatment, the disappointment, and the time we had personally wasted, we left the dealership. No apologies from anyone. I've never complianed online about any experience before with anything I've tried to purchase, but this experience was truly unacceptable.

2014 Dodge Ram 4x4 truck

We began the process of trying to find a Dodge ram single cab truck earlier this summer. Visited several dealerships, just couldn't find "the right one". Wednesday of last week we just happened to be in Moore County and visited the Leith dealership in Aberdeen. When we drove up into the parking lot, we were greeted by a very polite salesman. Zack. We told him what we were looking for and told him we had an appointment elsewhere, so he took my name and number. Within an hour of us leaving the lot, he called us with the news he could not locate "the" vehicle. After many texts and phone calls within a day he had found one in Virginia. Although it did take a few days to get this truck from VA, he was constantly in touch with us letting us know what was going on with the delivery. Zach went over and beyond the call of a salesman. He was very kind, courteous and patient in helping find us "the right" truck. Would I go back to Leith in Aberdeen again to purchase another vehicle?? Would I suggest to someone from our area to drive a hour from home to Leith?? Would I ask for Zack again?? My answers to that would be "YES, YES, YES".

2014 Chevrolet Silverado

While shopping for a new Silverado I spotted a 2014 sitting on the Leith lot. Who would have thought, they have only been out a few months? Well it took a few weeks and a few phone calls but I finally got the deal I wanted and a really nice truck. I appreciate all the work Alex did for me getting this truck ready. Everyone I met at Leith was friendly and willing to help. That is hard to find this day in time. When I get ready for a new Cummins I will definitely be calling them.

Salesman Dannie is exceptional; very knowledgeable and experienced, and goes above and beyond to help. I had been looking and researching for an SUV and was impressed by all the reviews on the Jeep Grand Cherokee. Stopped by the Jeep dealership in Aberdeen and John Megyas assisted me and answered my questions, was not pushy in the least like some salesmen I have encountered. I later returned after 2 weeks of thinking and not wanting to make a hasty decision of such a big purchase to find John again willing to assist me. The only salesman to ever take me and my husband on a test drive where he drove the vehicle first to show us how the vehicle handled and its performance, stopped then gave me the opportunity to experience what Jeep had to offer. Amazing vehicle. Decided on a purchase but the dealership did not have the vehicle I wanted. No problem, John found the vehicle (West Virginia) I wanted and then some!! Great Car Buying Experience

You won't often find me giving 5 stars to a car dealer, but Alex Wright and the guys at Leith in Aberdeen made what could have been a tough time into a really great experience. My husband and I aren't the easiest of customers - we want excellent quality and fantastic value for money as well as good old fashioned customer service and Alex paved the way for our Jeep purchase to be all of those things. Alex worked hard to find us just the right Wrangler. When the first vehicle we'd ordered wasn't exactly what we wanted, it wasn't the least bit of trouble for him to find us another that was - and it was there exactly when he said it would be. I'm now saving up for a diesel Grand Cherokee and it will definitely be Alex Wright I call!

I walked in to Leith CDJR by word of mouth through a friend who had a pleasant experience. I was introduced to Tim Despain, and despite my experience in dealing with many car salesmen, I was put at ease immediately with him. finally figured out what we wanted

We pulled in and Danny came right out to help us. We wanted to test drive a hybrid Highlander that we saw advertised online. Danny was a big help in helping us decide that the Highlander was not the car we were looking for. He offered a few other options for us to look at. Initially we were not interested but figured we'd take a look anyway. He showed showed us a Jeep Cherokee that was nice but when he showed us the Chrysler Town and Country we knew that it was the vehicle we had been looking for. I bought a used Chevy Malibu from Eric Britt at Leith CDJR in Aberdeen about a week ago. I'm 21 and was scared to death about buying a vehicle since it was my first vehicle I'd ever bought on my own. All my worries went away once I began talking to him. Eric was very personable and very knowledgeable. He answered all my questions without hesitation and helped me figure out what the perfect vehicle was for me. IN pass history I was not fully satisfied to the service I received in service repair that I was needing. I was however very satisfied in my dealing with sales & service in purchasing a used trucked. John Megyes when out of his way several times to keep me informed of my interested in the purchase of a good used truck. Worst Experience Ever

Please beware! My husband and I drove 51/2 hours to buy a used SUV from Jim Parkin. I had many conversations, emails and texts with this seemingly trustworthy salesman. Boy were we the fools! I have never been more deceived by a sales person in my entire life. The vehicle was a mess. It had many scratches and dents, had a foul smell, and was just extremely worn out. Upon confrontation of his untruthfulness, Jim Parkin continued to lie. We left very very frustrated and aggravated that we had wasted so much time and money for nothing and more importantly that we were completely deceived by someone we thought we could trust. If you are considering buying a vehicle from Jim Parkin please be cautious. I would hate for anyone else to have an experience like we did.

I was searching for a new car I had a 2009 ford focus that I loved but it was time for a trade in. I had my heart set on either a new ford fusion but when my mother and I had just out of curiosity went to out local dodge dealership we were sold with our car salesman and the selection and knowledge that was present. Not only did our car salesman win us over but Eric became a friend. With in a week not only had I found the car of my dreams but Eric also found my mother and my father find the new vehicle of there dreams. My son and daughter-in-law took me into Leith McBrayer because I have been thinking about purchasing a car as an alternative to my Jeep. Best Car Buying Experience Possible!

Worked with John and Sloan to get a 2011 Dodge Challenger R/T Classic. Absolutely the friendliest, most accommodating car salesmen I've ever met. You feel more like you're in a living room than an office when you sit down to talk to these guys. Not only did they work out a great price for me (several thousand less than I thought I'd have to spend), they beat my bank's finance rate on top to save me a little extra green. Located about an hour's drive from Raleigh, they picked me up from the airport just to let me take a test drive. These guys are the best and you can not go wrong buying from them! A++++

I bought my first Jeep at Leith McBrayer (08 Wrangler Unlimited) I traveled 1.5 hours from home to the dealership and will do it again when I buy another Jeep. The Sales manager was true to his word, so was the salesman. The price for the vehicle was very fair. There were a couple of hiccups (as much my fault as the dealership's) with the soft top, but they fixed the problems right of way. Great folks to work with. They want the buying experience to be good and it was.

We purchased a vehicle from Leith Mcbrayer and never received our tags. We called after the 30 days and the salesman told us that the DMV was "just backed up". So two weeks passed by and we still hadn't received the tags so we drove back to the dealership and were told that the original owner had not signed all paperwork and that they could not locate him. We asked for another 30 day tag so we could drive the car while the issue was being resolved and they would not give us one. They said and I quote "if you get pulled over and get a ticket we will pay for it". That is such poor business practice. We contacted local law enforcement and they said yes, indeed we could get another 30 day tag. We have contacted a lawyer to resolve this issue. I would not recommend this dealership for the horrible standards and for the way we were flat out lied to.

Don't buy from this dealership unless you want to lose THOUSANDS of dollars!! They will not stand behind the vehicles they sell. Mine broke down 28 days after purchase with a blown motor!! When i met with the general manager he was extremely rude about the situation and did not help us at all. So I would steer clear of them unless you want to waste your money on an automobile that will brake shortly after purcahse!!!
