Checkout all the reviews on Yelp!False advertising. You have probably heard them say on the radio that they will give you $3000 more than the trade in value of your car. That's a big fat lie. The only reason I went in was for that deal so after finding the van that I wanted online I went in for a test drive only to find out that they couldn't sell me the van at the listed price if they gave me $3000 for my car. They would have to sell the van for more of course. So after the test drive we talked about payment plans and I wanted to think about it and look at other options at other places but I felt like they wouldn't let me leave without getting me to buy something. I talked the price down a little bit and luckily I have excellent credit so they got a payment I could feel okay about. Three hours later, after what should have only been a half hour test drive (my kids with a babysitter that hadn't expected me to be gone that long) I got out the door with a new van but I still had to bring it back to get detailed and get my husband to sign. Signing took another hour, in which they tried to talk us into extra coverage that we didn't want. Although they may really think the extra coverage is useful, our baby was screaming and we did not want to be there. All in all, it was frustrating and they need to be more considerate of people's time.Furthermore, They seem like nice sales agents that want to get you a payment you can afford but months after this purchase I realized that they charged me more than we had talked about. They didn't tell me there was a finance fee. Had I known I would have got third party financing. Also, when JJ discussed with me how much my trade in was worth and the price of the car they first told me my trade in would be one thing and the price of the van was another. They negotiated by lowering the price of the van by $500. He neglected to tell me that they decreased my trade-in value by $500 at the same time essentially not changing my overall cost at all!! what kind of deal is that? That is so dishonest. That isn't negotiating this is cheating! Overall the van ended up being $2000 more than expected. I tried calling Doug Webb and he never returned my calls.

I've been checking with our salesman that we contacted, Cody Berg and he has sent us pictures and given us several suggestions of what we might be interested in, within the guidelines of what we wanted. Today he told us about a car that he saw on the lot and we came up and ended up buying it, at first he took us to several other places or other options just to make sure. I appreciate all his hard work and his diligence and he was a great salesman.

I was foolish enough to purchase a car from the Larry H. Miller used car superstore, they lied about the vehicle, when I paid for a separate mechanics inspection from the Larry H. Miller Chrysler dealership across the street, they also lied in collusion with Doug Webb, the salesman to say the 2008 Chrysler 300 SRT8 I purchased had never been in an accident. I discovered the depth of their lies when I returned to purchase another vehicle and the truth came out about my previous purchase. I had gotten in an accident that was the other drivers fault. When I filed for depreciated value, I was denied and they informed me that the vehicle had been in 3 severe accidents previously. The damage had exceeded $20,000 in repairs on two of them and $13,000 for the third. When I had the Larry H. Miller Chrysler dealership do the mechanics inspection, I specifically told them to look for any indications of accident damage and they lied and said it had never happened.I was told the truth the day after I had selected a truck that I was seriously considering purchasing. When I confronted them about the whole thing and said I didn't want the truck and didn't want to buy anything from a dishonest dealership they used the extended test drive form I signed as a contract to force me to buy a truck that I didn't want and then upsold the interest on my financing, rolled $3,000.00 from my Chrysler into the new loan on the truck and forced me to pay for it all because I told the manager that I was not happy with their dishonesty. All told, Larry H Miller dealerships have cost me almost $30,000.00 due to their lies and horrible business practices.No one should ever buy a car from them. They wholesale the cars from their other dealerships to themselves and mark them up by $2,000 to $5,000 and then show you paperwork that says they are selling you the car for around $500 over the purchase price. These tactics of artificially inflating the price are acceptable business practices in Utah. I contacted the BBB and Gephardt and no one would do anything to expose them.

I give my experience at this dealership 5 stars. The staff were very friendly and willing to take the time to show me different vehicles and compare price options. I worked closely with Jenny and Amanda, and they were excellent! I highly recommend both of them to future customers. The reason why I say this is because they really cared about me, the customer, and wanted what was best for me. Although I did not actually buy a vehicle from the dealership, I will definitely consider them in the future and recommend them to friends.

L.H.M.U.C.S treated us great. We were looking for a truck with certain specifications and Ray Martinez showed us a lot. My wife and I just purchased a 2008 Saturn Outlook that had some issues with the suspension (struts and sway bars were toast). Daniel and Amanda, our sales people, were very quick to offer to fix it all for us if we bought the car. It was exactly what we were looking for so we couldn't pass it up! We had it in for service repairs but as we drove away realized the steering wheel was crooked as well as the power steering was having a lot of issues - things that weren't happening before we had it in for repairs. These issues very well could've been there but we didn't notice them because of everything that was going on with the suspension. However, Keith - the manager at the service center - told us not to worry and he would take care of it. After fixing the steering wheel and power steering, Keith test drove the car with me and we noticed a knocking noise (something I thought would've been fixed after the sway bars and things were fixed). Keith instantly said he would personally take a look at it and get it taken care of. All in all the process of buying a car at Larry H. Miller has been great. We don't expect a business to be perfect but we do expect to be taken care of and the folks at Larry H. Miller did just that. We would refer our closest friend to them!

Everything at this dealership was great, but I was especially impressed with the salespeople. We worked with Brad and Sean and they were never pushy. They listened to us and got to know our needs so they could help us find the perfect vehicle. They were also able to negotiate down the price to help us reach a comfortable price. They are not paid by commission so I felt like I could trust what they said. It was great!

Bought a car a week and a half ago and they took it to the shop for minor repairs and then had to order a bunch of parts and we haven't even taken delivery of the car. And they say there's nothing they can do about it.

I'm the kind of guy that cant stand salesman and dealerships. I've heard too many horror stories. My wife forced me to go. I went to the used supermarket in Sandy. I was pleasantly surprised by how they handled it. I wasn't hounded nor pushed. I bought a used car. The car is real nice but didn't blow cold air very well. We agreed to have it FIXED. I didn't say charge because there could be many problems. They agreed and its a good thing I said fixed. They will fix whatever it is until it works properly. My mind has changed about this place and these guys. I doubt I will go to a different one in the future.

I've always been a Do It Yourself kind of guy. But when I bought my 2014 Town and Country, I figured we'd spring for the extended dealer warranty, and the extended Service Contract.First - Their maintenance service is TERRIBLE. When I purchased the service contract, I was told all I had to do was show up with the car, and no appointment was needed. This was a bold faced lie. The first time I showed up with our van to get an oil change, I was told I would need to leave it for 3-4 hours. That's just not a feasible option when you're trying to get kids to school, soccer, ballet, and all the activities that come with having a family. From then on, I have always set appointments, and never have I had a wait time of less than 90 minutes. Honestly, for the same price, I could buy my own oil and filters and make perform my own maintenance on my own schedule in a third of the time. To add insult - In December, before a major Christmas road trip to visit my wife's family in Seattle, I asked for a full tire rotation along with our usual maintenance, on our way we had a flat tire, and the lug nuts were so tight on AAA was unable to even remove the nuts, after a tow into town the tire shop had to cut the lug nuts off in order to remove the tire. The fact that the lugs were frozen in place that tight indicate that they did not perform the service they said they did.Second - A check engine light came on. Being a dutiful DIYer, I pulled out my ODBC code reader and plugged it in. The code was a P0522 Engine Oil Pressure Sensor/Switch Circuit Low Voltage. This is usually caused by either a clogged oil filter, or a faulty sensor. This took me about 5 minutes to diagnose between my own ODBC code reader and a quick search on Google. When I called for service on this, I gave them the code in order to save some hassle. Their tech wanted to run the diagnostic anyway, and informed me that if the repair was not an engine problem, it would be a $100 fee. Knowing that it was a sensor, I told them to go ahead with it. Their "Diagnostic" took over an hour (my wife arrived at 11:45, and they didn't get to it until after 1pm, even with an "appointment"). Apparently the warranty sold by the dealership does not cover things such as sensors. So that's a $100 diagnostic fee PLUS another $400 to repair.I talked to the service manager, and he was completely unsympathetic. I would honestly say he was extraordinarily rude and unprofessional, having walked out of the room while my wife got me on the phone. He also refused to acknowledge any responsibility for the name Larry H Miller.To all buyers, and potential buyers - Do not buy any service contracts or extended warranties from this company! It is very clear that they are not interested in providing any quality service after they have your money!

Kathy and Tamara in ACOUTTING in accounting will not answer there phones or call you back when you leave a message there special offers are nothing but scams they sent me letters for a $1000.00 free prepaid visa then tell me no we just cut a check after your loan funds come to find out the $1000.00 dollars was included in my loan so it's technically not Larry h millers money to hold on to. it's now been 2 weeks and no check I've tried to call several times and have left messages but no response my salesman has also been trying for 3 days know no luck. The sales people are great but the accounting people are crooks

When I was called by the sales lady, I was VERY skeptical of getting out of my current high interest rate car loan. She talked me into coming down, and seeing what they could do for me. When I left the dealership I had a beautiful luxury car, that I never thought I would EVER own, with less miles, a payment I could afford, and a phenomenal interest rate that I never thought I could EVER achieve. I love my new car so much! Thank you Amanda Heins, for having the foresight to know that I would totally love that Lexus hybrid, even though I fought hard not to! (and for making me drive it twice...the second test drive is what did it for me!) I have bought several cars from different Larry Miller dealerships over the past 10 years; the Sandy Used Car Supermarket store is by far the best experience I've had overall. I will be back next year to refinance my Lexus. I have, and always will refer everyone, and anyone to this dealership!

To rate this dealer a one is to overrate it by two. These are the people that give all used car salesmen a bad name. Let me tell you what happened to me today....OK, so I looked up a car on autotrader and found one at Larry H. Miller Used Car Supermarket Sandy. Although I had previously heard bad things about this dealer, i figured that to just check it out, what harm could there be.So I opened a chat window and inquired id the car was available. They said, "Come on down"- note they did NOT say "Yes"- that is key to this story. So They grabbed by number and I said I would be down at 430... and no reply. I waited five minutes... and I type "Hello?"- Two minutes and STILL no response, so I give up and start looking elsewhere (smartest thing I did all day).AN hour later they text and ask if I'm still conning in... and by then I say No!. Then I think about it, and I have some free time, and so I text back I will come in anyway. Ryan texts me and says come in and test drive the car.So I get there, and I instantly see the sleaze that is Larry Miller Used Cars... you cant even pull into the lot without the sales people stop you and start trying to sell you! I am not even out of my car- I haven't even turned it off. Geez- BACK OFF! So I say Im meeting someone and pull in to park.I pull in and park, and the same guy is at my heels asking who I am looking for.. I tell him Ryan, so he goes in to get him. 5 minutes later he comes back and tells me Ryan is busy, and he starts trying to pump me for information. I tell him I am just loking for the car, and want to see it. He says he'll be right back.TEN minutes later....he comes trotting back, and is asking me all kinds of questions about the car I wanted to see- how much was it, how many miles, etc. I am like why don't you know that.... and it turns out THE CAR WAS SOLD ALREADY.... And now dude wants to drive me all over looking at other cars.So I cant see the guy I had an appointment with, or the car they told me they had, and dude wants to trot all over looking at other cars. No thanks. They obviously have NO PROBLEM lying to their customers to get them in the door, so I decide to bug out. Dude would not stop badgering me all the way to my car. I could not get out of there fast enough.Now I KNOW that "Doug" is going to respond "We're sorry to hear that you do not feel satisfied with your experience..." Dude, save your breath. Your employees FLAT OUT LIED to me, more than once. Employees do NOT do that on their own, they lie because that is the company structure, the way t\you expect them to do business. Read the other reviews- ALL of the other reviews.... they ALL say you lie to customers just to make sales. That is your reputation, and you have earned it. So save your breath "Doug"- you run a sleazy operation, and there is no way I would even consider ever setting foot over there again.

Unfortunately my experience with Larry H Miller over the last 6 months has been so disappointing. It started when I first bought my car. I was a young woman looking to buy my first car and stupidly trusted them to give me the best deal they could. The salesman showed me three cars which I wasn't in love with and told me that those were the ones I could pick from. The first car's steering wheel shook horribly when I got on the freeway. There was no way I could get it. So I basically had two options. I ended up picking a ford focus that had a busted mirrir that they refused to fix (they just gave me the broken part) and the windows weren't sealed as I would find out the next day. I left the car on the lot to pick up the next day. My parents drove me out so I could pick up the car and were appalled by the car I was sold. They immediately told me I could get a better deal. And immediately after my parents talked to the manager a TON of better cars with better mileage, interiors, and newer models were shown to me. It was like magic. I was so upset that they were willing to sell me thw cheapest and crappiest car on the lot. When my parents reqiested them to pull a car from their website they said the car was on a different lot. We again requested them to go get it and they did grudgingly. Turns out the lot was across the street. I ended up buying an awesome car from them but the whole buying process was ruined. Never trust a car salesman is the lesson that Larry H Miller taught me. Forward 5 months... My car was having problems starting. I took my car in to get an oil change and explained to the mechanic the noises it was making as well as the starting problems. He said they would check it. 2 hours later they told me nothing was wrong. So I believed them. ONE month later my car wasnt starting at all. Instead of taking it to Larry H Miller again I went someone else and they said I have a bad battery. A bad battery. Really? They didnt even find that my battery was bad when they did the full inspection? So thr next day I call Larry H Miller to see if the battery replacement is under my warranty and if they have one in stock. I was transferred to a voicemail 3 times and was put on hold 2 times for 20 mins. The third time I got put on hold I told the guy there how long I had been on hold and his repy was "oh thats silly". I told him about the problem and he told me to bring my car in. I told him that I didnt want to drive there if he didnt even have the part I needed. He said his computer wasnt up yet (they had been open 30 minutes by now) and he couldnt look it up. I told him I would have to go somewhere else and then all of a sudden his computer was working and he looked up and told me he had my battery. The battery they had in stock was WAY overpriced. I had already checked around at prices the previous day. So I ended up taking my business elsewhere. Honestly if I could go back I wouldn't buy from them again. The customer service has been horrible. And even after telling them this they werent willing to help.

My husband and I went in to exchange our two vehicles in for one better vehicle. Brad and Teddy met us at the door and immediately sat us down to talk about what my husband and I were looking for. They were both so friendly and such good listeners. Never once did either one of these two try to push any one car or upgrade on us. Before we even got to seeing the vehicles, they ran our credit, so that we would know where we stood, before getting our hopes up. Our test drive was relaxed because they let us take it out on our own without supervision. Any bit of paperwork or numbers that we wanted to see while discussing the terms, were promptly gathered and brought to us, no questions asked. All in all we spent only two hours at the dealership. Out of those two hours, one good half an hour was spent by me talking to our insurance company for a new quote. I have never spent such little time buying a car before and my husband and I have lots of experience with that! While we waited our new car to get detailed, Teddy stayed by our side to make friends with my 9 month old and make sure we were comfortable. Brad ran around making sure that all our other needs were fulfilled and that we got the fairest deal possible! I really have to say, thank you so much for the experience! We couldn't be happier! Never thought I'd say that after a visit to s car dealership!

Promised a 2000.00 gift card at the time of purchase, but I was called in two months later to finish up the financing. When I hadn't received a gift card that was already agreed to, I asked about it. The finance manager Rob Hammer informed me that I am already getting a really good deal (according to the dealership) and that there is no room for the gift card, despite already agreeing to it when I took delivery of the car. The battery died on the car a week later, and all of the repairs they did to burn holes in seats failed and need to be replaced. This dealership hosed me during Christmas time. Doug the internet sales guy "attempted" to make things right and offered a 200.00 gift card.....thats not even the price of the first payment. This dealership lies and lies and lies.

I went to lhm in the past at another location and got screwed over pretty bad but this time around I was really happy I was. able to trade in my old car but this time I went to the sandy location and had an awesome dealer named Travis staker. He was smart and really listened to what I had to say and the complaints I made. In the long run the only thing I didn't like with my experience was finding out my overall.final price wasn't what I was expecting and my father came with me and there were things added on to the monthly pricing that I was NOT aware of. Although overall this car buying experience was a much better experience!

WARNING: Larry H Miller- Used Car supermarket in Sandy.Everyone has their good, and bad experiences at different businesses. Normally I would keep them to myself, but what they have done to me, and I'm sure hundreds of other people that has not caught it amazes me and I feel like I need to warn all my family, and friends so it does not happen to them. If you have purchased a vehicle from LHM I would recommend you double checking your loan. 3 years ago I traded in my Nissan Altima, for a Mitsubishi Lancer. Two weeks later I got a phone call stating that I needed to return the car (I was thinking the loan didn't go through) I take the car back and they had already sold my trade in. Then, they proceed to sell me a car that is "so high in value" that I can come back after a year and get the lancer, or a different car if proffered. Well, three years later I go to trade in my car and trade in was valued at $7,000 after my loan was $23,000. I was furious that I was completely lied to, I thought I would contact the managers at Larry H Miller, I let them know my frustrations, and how I feel like I was taken advantage of, then he proceeded to let me know they sold me my car for $12,800. WHAT???? That's weird because I still owe $12,300 on my vehicle. So where did all that money go that I have been paying? The manager sounded really concerned, and set up a meeting with me. I went into for the meeting, and still the numbers were not adding up. My question is still, if I paid $12,800 for a car, why is my loan $23,000? Almost double. He made it sound like they were going to get me into a new vehicle and take out the money that has been paid, what they did not know, was I was just at a different dealership looking at the same cars for 12-15,000$ Larry H Miller was wanting to sell the same ones for $28-32,000 more I can now see how they were going to handle it, buy me paying half my loan, that was only supposed to be $12 grand they were going to pretend to give that back to me, but just make the car more expensive. ANYONE ELSE SEE THIS PROBLEM? Then they proceeded to tell me that my credit is the problem and the only way for that to go up is buying a new car, having a car on there, or credit card or house loan will not help my credit, only buying a new car. It was beyond belief. Who are these people? The guy that sold me my car 3 years ago, and was let go because of some other similar situations. They did not give me much more information on him, but clearly they are not willing to help out in anyway. A few years ago, they had a huge lawsuit filed against them, and I am doing my research as to why that was. I will be sure to make sure they do not get away with this, you can go ahead and share with your friends so they don't get double charged in their car loan. THIS NEEDS TO BE STOPPED AND CORRECTED. $12,000 is a lot of money for someone to just pocket.I have reached out to many people, and there are quite a few that has had this problem! We are going to get this fixed!

First off, the sales guy pressured me to write a positive review but I told him I wanted to wait and see how it went. It was horrible experience with the financial team!!! It took over 3 weeks for them to get financing complete when it was from my bank. Impossible to get anyone at this dealership on the phone so we ended up driving 40 minutes round trip, five different times just to check on the status. Then when it FINALLY financed no one called for a most a week. There was some light scratches on the side of vehicle. We scheduled a time and brought in the car. When we went to t he service center we were told we had to leave the car a week! A week for some scratches? The sales manager told us they wouldn't cover a rental car or assist in any way. WORST CAR LOT IN UTAH

After clearly addressing that I can't afford more than 300 a month, I took interest in a 2005 Dodge Ram and the salesman came back and said my payments would be 341 a month for this 10 year old truck. The tires were worn, a window was busted and there was a crack in the windshield. I went ahead and decided to take a bold move and put $5000 down with hoping that will for sure keep my monthly payments below 300, then when I saw the sales manager that changed everything, he threw on an extended warranty that so far has proven to be completely worthless. I was promised a employee rate minus 10% on tires and the tire shop said no to that. I clearly stated I couldn't afford this but he was persistent just so he could profit from not caring at all that I couldn't afford it. So he managed to get my monthly payments back to 341 a month even after I forked over 5 grand for this 10 year old truck. Never go to LHM used cars and especially don't trust the sales manager.

I just recently purchased a 2007 dodge ram 3500 6.7 on which I traded my 2004 chevy silverado 2500 6.6 on and was given a very unreasonable price for both trucks which in the end resulted in a 40,000 truck with a 150k miles on which was forced to buy "or had to pay 8000.00 in negitive inventory" because they had already sold my truck without even making a deal on the new one! That's one issue the other is I've only owned it 24 days and it has been in the shop 4 times and is currently there and is costing more money because they say the warranty I paid for doesn't cover any of the repairs being done. I really just want out of this lemon and back in my old truck!

The Manager called me "A Victim Of My Good Credit". Truthfully, I am a victim of LHM.I was browsing Jeep Wranglers on 06/18. I spoke w/ Randy about a test drive, telling him explicitly, I only wanted to test drive, thats all. Randy's manager (Corey?) tried to get me to buy the jeep on the spot. He was extremely pushy & rude so I left.Randy called me again on 06/20 & talked me into coming back in.. I was promised that a different Manager would work with me & they would get me the payment I wanted. They told me we could negotiate on a down payment within 30 days of signing & asked me what kind of payment I wanted. I said 300.00/mo was my MAX. They haggled me into 339/mo. Which I immediately regretted consensus on, as my current payment is 225/mo.I was physically ill. But I signed the paperwork out of pressure. As I walked out to the parking lot I felt that the deal wasn't affordable. I wasnt happy w/ my payment & wanted to keep my trade-in & walk.. This wasnt right, so I asked to call off the deal.This was within less than 5 minutes of signing.The Managers response was: "You signed just as fast as anyone & I refuse to back out of this contract." He wouldnt look me in the eye and said, I was a victim of my good credit & now I am stuck with my grown up decision. I begged him there in the office in front of everyone to please help me... The deals age was only 5 minutes long & I felt instantaneous buyers remorse. LHM has no intention of showing me compassion.It has been 2 days and I am still physically overcome with nausea about the pressure into signing this contract. I am sick with how LHM has verbally stated that I did this to myself and will refuse to help me in any way shape or form. I am unhappy and not agreeable with the contract terms, and need this fixed.Randy was a great salesman and easy to work with. But the management was sleezy and left me feeling sick to my stomach.

I have bought 3 cars from LHM, the last car I bought was a 09 Subaru WRX, I was told at the time of purchase it was mechanically sound and had been ok'd by a mechanic. I found a problem a couple weeks later returned it to LHM where they replaced the timic, at no cost to me, after researching problems with all 09 Subarus I found that my car should have the timing belt kit, water pump, and pulleys replaced,so I ordered the kit in the meantime I need my regularly scheduled oil change. While getting it changed it was found to have an internal oil leak, upon further inspection by, Sager Thurman and his mechanic, it was found to have leaking cam seals and a oil pump seal, Sager went above his duty to make sure my car was fixed properly, he even allowed me to get my timing belt kit and water pump done while it was in for labor costs. LHM, Sager is an exceptional service advisor, and I thank him and your awesome trained Subaru tech for fixing my car properly, in such a professional and timely manner. Thank you Thad Brenkmann

Although Maxwell my sales guy was super helpful and not annoyingly pushy like I'm used to and I would give him 5 stars all the way! I am giving this company 1 star overall because since I initially bought my car the experience went downhill very quickly. The customer service is lazy and apathetic. I have never seen such a complete lack of follow through. I've also never been lied to so much. The communication has been horrible especially with important things (such as my car being done with service or I that I need to bring my car in to be inspected even though they had it overnight), and only when I call them or go back to the dealership do I get half- way answers even though multiple times I am told I will be called first thing in the morning. I want nothing more than to be done with this company. I waited for over half of an hour yesterday for help and then the "help" I got was superficial and really lacking in seeing that it was important. I called again today and got the run around, not a single apology. All I got from the finance manager was "I can only speak for myself." What happened to being the face of the company when dealing with customers? I have worked in customer service for many many years now and know I can and SHOULD expect more than this. This is the second bad experience that I've had with this company. I am regretting giving them a second chance because this time was actually worse than the first. I will never be purchasing another car from them and will not be referring anyone either. Too many lies and not enough caring. I really so love the car, but hate the service

We went to Larry H Miller Used Car Supermarket with the intention of finding a specific Jeep model we had found online. Ray Martinez, our salesman, was friendly and helpful in locating the car. The jeep we wanted was in the process of being purchased by another party so Ray directed us to another Jeep. During our test drive Ray asked us questions, got to know us a little better and at the end of the drive suggested another car for us to look at. I was impressed with his gentle sensitivity to our needs and the car he suggested turned out to be better than we had originally wanted to buy. Instead of disappointment we were able to purchase a better car. I'm grateful for Ray's help in finding the best fit car for us. He was patient, never pushy and endured many questions. We weren't quite sure what vehicle we were looking for and our sales associate seemed very eager and helpful to find something we were comfortable in. After test driving a couple, we were able to find the vehicle with the features we wanted. And the sales associate was very nice to connect with our kids.The Contract and Bid process was definitely way too long, and the Sales manager talked way too much. If we were at all satisfied with our choice, the Sales Manager actually made us second guess it more and more. Finally, after over an hour of bid and contract negotiation we signed the financing papers and were on our way home. However, when we got our auto loan notice, it wasn't from our bank, but from the dealers regular provider and at a much higher rate. JJ didn't follow through with financing through our bank and just quoted whatever he thought he wanted to. And then even after confirming the institution with the loan processor, it appears they did whatever they wanted anyway. Make sure you don't finance in house.. A few weeks later we were treated very nicely in trying to get a second key for our vehicle. As promised, they covered the entire cost for our specialty key; and the sales associate gave me a gas voucher to make my travels dealership worth while. THANKS DERRICK!!!

I don't know where to begin with this horror story I had. YOU"LL WANT TO READ THIS. It started out great and I thought I would be getting a great deal on a used Saab. As part of the agreement, they PROMISED to do a detailed inspection of the engine, transmission, etc. I picked up the vehicle the following day and they said everything looked great. ON THE DRIVE HOME the car engine blew up!! I had to call the dealership and tell them to call a tow truck to pick up the car and I wanted all my money back. They refused to give me the money I gave them for the down payment saying "There's nothing we can do." Yeah right. So I had $2,000 in an account that they refused to give back to me. So I began looking for another vehicle in their lot. I found a Jetta that I really liked and due to the accident that happened with the Saab, they give me a very good deal, one that I couldn't turn down. So I decided to buy it. They printed off the CarFax and said the title was clean and it had never been in an accident. Upon further investigation, we found that the front bumper was a slightly different color than the hood and we found a receipt in the glove box. The receipt showed that it had in fact been in an accident and repairs had been done. They promised to do another inspection that the front end had been repaired correctly and their other "inspections" of the engine, transmission, etc. which I seriously doubt they ever did. They also promised to do other small repairs after my purchasing the vehicle which I got in writing. Once I purchased the vehicle and drove it off the lot, they acted like they had no idea who I was. When I returned to get the repairs done that they had promised me, they said again "There's nothing we can do." I fought and fought and FOUGHT and finally got them to repair them. Upon purchasing the vehicle, I also bought a warranty that covered the vehicle for 50,000 miles or for 2 years. It cost $2,000. They told me that it basically covered every mechanical feature of the vehicle. The warranty company is called Total Car Care. DO NOT BUY THIS. IT'S A COMPLETE SCAM! For a year and a half, the car ran great but then it started leaking oil. My warranty covered ALL my gaskets so I thought everything would be covered. They started doing the work and 2 WEEKS LATER, they said it was finished. When I got there, my bill was $250. $100 of it was my deductible. That I understood so I asked about the extra $150. They said the warranty company refused to pay it because they said they covered the repair in error. So I got on the phone and had a twenty minute fight with an employee in which they still refused to cover the part they said they would cover, which I have all in writing. SO BECAUSE OF THEIR ERROR, I HAD TO PAY AN ADDITIONAL $150. This is where it gets really interesting. On the drive home, I had two warning icons flash on my dashboard that had never previously popped up. One was the temperature icon and the other was my airbag. After some investigation, I couldn't figure out why those were flashing because my airbag seemed to be fine and the temperature gauge would pop up warning me of overheating when I would just start my car. So obviously something was wrong with the electrical system or computer. Not only that, but they screwed up my stereo system. It wouldn't turn off when I turned of the vehicle. I called them telling them that they must have screwed up my electrical system. They told me that it was "bad luck" and it had nothing to do with the repairs they did. Taking out an engine actually has A LOT to do with the electrical system. They said the repairs that had to be done would be an additional $250 and an additional $150 to fix my stereo, none of which were covered by my warranty. I fixed my stereo myself, because THEY UNPLUGGED ALL MY STEREO WIRING FROM THE BATTERY. I KNOW THEY INTENTIONALLY SCREWED UP MY CAR TO GET MORE MONEY. AWFUL, AWFUL COMPANY ALL AROUND. NEVER STEP FOOT INTO THEIR BUILDING!!

We came in with a set number of what we wanted to spend along with the things we needed as far as a vehicle. We wanted an SUV with 3 rows, fully loaded, great gas mileage, and great durability. David Michael listened to ALL our needs, and showed us a wide variety of vehicles that were within our budget and met all our expectations. He wasn't pushy, didn't try to show us something we couldn't afford and was very upfront on the price point and range the vehicle fell in. He got us the vehicle we were looking for and under the price range we were looking for. We have bought many vehicles in the past and this was the best experience ever. There was no playing around with the numbers, gave us two wonderful options, and there was no games in the overall process. I can not imagine my experience with them being any worse. Originally I bought a car through them at the sandy store. They got me into a ridiculous loan to try to repair my credit, promising that a year later I would be able to refinance into a better loan. Nope. When I went back 18 mo. later I was still $3000 upside down in the loan because of depreciation. I went to the orem store hoping I'd get a little better customer service. Wrong again. They found a car they told me would work on a trade in but when the loan info was sent to the bank, LHM had lied about what the car was worth by adding extras it didn't have so the bank couldn't approve the loan. After finally finding a car that would work, they processed the paperwork incorrectly three different times. I had to go back and get the loan approved for additional funds with the bank because they did it wrong. Sent two wrong checks to the DMV for the taxes. When I called to figure out what was happening with the refund amount (they had overcalculated the taxes which if they had gotten that part right would have saved me the previous headache with adjusting the loan amount) the woman in finance started giving me attitude. I tried to patiently explain that I was now three months into dealing with their screwups. Overall, I went into the dealership more than ten times to get a car purchased and the paperwork right. Nightmare.

First off. I don't write reviews but I feel that I have to let everybody know how bad of a experience I received. I bought a car over labor day weekend. I had to leave it there for 4 days due to safety and inspections. The salesperson was ok but from the finance manager all the way back to the service department was terrible. I did not feel the service from these guys. Typical dealership where no communication from front to back of house. Once you sign the papers its was all over and they failed me on everything. Finance manager (Jeff) was not friendly, Service department called me to pick up vehicle after I bought it and it was so dirty that I couldn't see out windows. Also work that was suppose to be performed on vehicle became a he said she said game. I also bought the xtra warranty and 3 weeks went by. I then received a call that I needed to bring vehicle back cause they didn't do inspection on vehicle for warranty. This is when I lost it. I was so upset for the first month I owned the vehicle that I went and traded it in on a different one where I was valued as a customer and treated right. Ya I lost money but in my eyes money well spent so I don't have to deal with LHM used car supermarket. I made the mistake to buy and I hope you don't.

My Ford Taurus had died after 14 great years. I thought I'd check out the tent sales during the Memorial Day Weekend. I first stopped at the one in West Valley City. After walking around and not being asked if I needed any help, I decided to try the one in Sandy. I started at the Larry H. Miller User Car lot. As soon as I got out of the car, Tanner casually came over my way. I appreciated the fact that he came to see if he could help me, but wasn't pushy about it. I told him what I was looking for, and he told me where the tent sale was located. He then offered to give me a ride over to it, which he did. As soon as we arrived, he handed me off to Justin. Justin was as relaxed as Tanner was with me. He listened to what I was looking for, and then started showing me what was available. I was looking for a specific make, model, and color. He even drove me to other lots trying to get exactly what I was looking for. After looking at everything available, I then told him which one I liked. I had not intended to buy that day, just look around. However, Justin made everything run so smoothly, that it was easy to decide to give him the sale. He went above and beyond anything I had ever experienced from a salesman before. He was extremely honest, which is something I really admire. He made the entire experience a great one. I would recommend, and have already recommended, him to friends and co-workers. Should I need another vehicle down the road, I would not hesitate to contact him again. Blashford Williams did a great job taking care of us. My 16-yr old son was buying his first car, and Blashford was very patient as we worked through many cars over several days. Buying a used car, especially where we were looking for an old "beater car" as a first car, can be full of surprises, but Blashford smoothed out everything as it came up, was very open with us, and professional. I got ripped off by NAP just up the street on my Subaru, but these guys were way better than them BY FAR! Starting out, we had a salesman & got to test drive the car I was looking for. Negotiated a price and agreed to buy the car if some things were fixed. This was all within an hour and a half. The trunk didn't open using the button located on the trunk so they agreed to fix that. We then waited 3 more hours just to sign papers for our purchase, during this time we watched the finance employees ( who we sign papers with) in and out several times for smoking breaks, ordering food and casual talking with other employees in the building. After signing papers at 9pm we then had a 3 1/2 hour drive back to Idaho. The guys helping us knew where we live & had no respect for our time once they knew they had the sale. The very next morning my car wouldn't start. We called the dealership and management told us he would "make it right," whether it's fixing my car or getting me in another car. I drove back to Sandy, UT so they could fix it. During the time it was at the dealership I called several times to see if it was fixed or if they figured out anything & the employees would pass the phone and give me info on a car that wasn't mine. Once they finally found my car the only information they could give me is "one issue is fixed and the other is still being worked on." When I went to pick it up 5days later the trunk wasn't fixed (which is a simple $30 part that they agreed to fix), my car has extra miles on it and I'm guessing they didn't even check out the issue causing it to not start. I'm on my way home now so I'm sure I will find out in the next 2 days if they did anything on my at at all!

From the gate this was a bad idea. Got talked into buying a 2002 Chevy trailblazer at 1,500 over blue book value. Had a cracked windshield which larry h did replace so the piece would pass safety. When I picked it up off the lot, windshield was still broken after being in the shop for a week, car was filthy, didn't clean the interior because the extractor was broken. So I drove a dirty car off the lot at the beginning of December, didn't get it cleaned till two weeks later, didn't get the windshield until the second week of January, and didn't get my plates till a week after my temp expired. Last week my starter failed and I'm still waiting to hear back. Was promised call backs and assistance, got nothing but a run around. I've heard this from a few colleagues of mine, one was sold a tundra, blew a rod the first day he drive it, but was suckered into a contract he couldn't break. Another has had his Camry in the shop for times in the last two months. Very shotty prior, very shotty cars. Save yourself the trouble.

It took 2 weeks to get my car! They did put me in a rental but then tried to make me pay for it. When my car was "done" they rushed me to get the rental back and pick up my car. It was dark and I know nothing about vehicles (thank god my husband does!) I drove off in my car noticing it was still somewhat loud but assumed because it was not brand new it could just be the car. Come to find out the next day when it was light out they did not replace tires that were bald. Also the motor mounts were bad! They tried to tell me that motor mounts were not a safety issue.... There were other things that we had issues with as well but..Long story short it has been pulling teeth to get things done that should have been done in the first place. If you don't know anything about vehicles and or don't have a back bone don't buy here.

I had brought my Honda CR-V in for an oil change without an appointment on a busy Saturday. Told them there was no rush as I was shopping at Shceels and Costco next door. When my husband and I came back 3 hours later our CR-V was ready to go. As I was pulling away the guy who had changed my oil ran out and told me that he would advise replacing my front wiper blade as it was in bad shape. I thanked him and told him that would be great. $6.00 later he replaced it and we were on our way. I really appreciate that he waited to ask instead of just assuming that I would want it done.

i was in need of a new car but was scared because i hadn't had a car payment in twenty years. i bought my metro there and was hoping there would be something i would like and could afford. chandler met us at the dealership gate with a big welcome. he didn't push, answered my questions and showed me several different options. chandler made me feel a little more comfortable with making the decision and i found the car that would fulfill my needs. jeff was great at explaining the financial side of it and answered my questions and concerns. he helped me with a warranty and explained it to the point that there was no doubt that the purchase would be the right one.

I went in there to look around. They ended up pushing me into a 2012 ford focus. well The first day the transmission started shuttering in 1st gear. and turns out i over payed by 5000 which they suckered me into. I went to take it back a few days later cause the problem with the transmission and it wasn't a valid contract yet cause my grandma was co-signing. well when i took it back the sales manager came to talk to me. He asked what was wrong i told him and that i just wanted to return it and go somewhere else. He started calling me names. and all these other names. then he wouldn't give me back my trade in until i payed for the mileage and he wanted me to pay for restocking fees. i asked him where it said in the contracct that i had to pay for that and he couldn't find it. he kept harrassing me until i finally said i am going to call the police. He couldn't even do anything cause it wasn't signed by my grandma yet. Then after all of this he asked well can i get you into something else. xxxx NO!!! Then tried saying you can understand where im coming from cant you? wow dont ever go to this place if you want a horrible experience and treated like crap and overpaying!! luckily i was able to return it and went to riverton hyundai down the street and purchased a brand new car and got excellent service for the same price.!!

I found a great car salesman, but after I found the car I wanted, the price changed. I had to sign 3 times on my car loan, because finance couldn't get it right. I traveled 66 miles each way, and was eventually told that I could have done it all 10 miles away instead (That made me furious). When I finally said I had enough, they started trying to give me free Larry H. Miller tickets for events to change my mind. The manager lied about competition to get me to trust him, and was not helpful at all. He thought he had me trapped into buying the car, but was surprised I had researched it ahead of time, and ended up only being decent because the radio station was standing next to me. I will never refer anyone to this car lot.

I went here to buy a car. It was fairly long, was there for a couple hours. It turned to into quite of an event, including lots of haggling. They do not negotiate with you at all. It was a mediocre experience. If you can get a car anywhere, do not go here.

I went into this dealership knowing what payment plan I needed to be satisfied. I assumed that when we had picked out a car and they told us they could do that, it would be so. After they were twiddling around in financing, when they came back, it was way higher. We then haggled with the salesman and eventually got it back down to 280. When we came back a month later to sign the agreement and papers, and at that point the payment had gone up to 478 dollars. They knew full well that I could not agree with this. They then cut me a check for the 78 dollar difference for the next 10 months, but my car payment is still 400 dollars a month.

I purchased a car from here, and I was told that if I had any problems with in the first week they would help me out. After HAVING problems in that time period and I came back, they told me it was my fault for buying this car. I would not recommend anyone go here. They are ridiculous.

The Sales team promised that they would take out the scratches fixed on the car i was buying. All they did was paint over the scratches with white paint. You can still see the scratches there.

When I went to this dealership, my wife and I were coming for an internet lead that my wife was very excited about. The salesman was great, talked to wife on the phone, had it ready when we got to the dealership and was very helpful. The problem started happening when we got in to the financing part of it. After we had sent the paperwork and came back in a week or two later, we met up with our same salesman and he said that his computer was down. Long story short, it took over a month to get our car that we wanted that we had brought a trade in for, so we had a bank breathing down our necks for money we didn't have that LHM needed to cough up. My only thing is, we have purchased another car from a DIFFERENT LHM dealer, and it is like night and day. We were so pleased with the other dealership and VERY frustrated with this one.

I purchased a car at this dealership. They gave me the run around, (like every other dealership, not a big deal). My problem is that I got my car, and then decided I wanted a truck. They let me trade that in and I had that for about 4-5 weeks. Then the dealership calls me to say the bank can't finance this truck that I am in, and delete the whole transaction. This leaves me in a position where I am 3 months behind on the old car I had before the truck, and on TOP of that, the bank wants insurance money ($500) from me because it wasn't covered and the dealership will not own up to it. I thought I had gotten a great deal on my vehicle, but thing is, the dealership does not care about you as soon as you sign that dotted line and they got the sale. They take zero responsibility.

They told me they own all the cars, but they don't. They had told me they would cover any problems and give me free oil changes but they haven't. I had to pay for things they promised I wouldn't be paying for. They refused to take anything back and work with me. Everything they stated was a lie and they wouldn't own up to it. They told me they refuse to take back any cars because they don't want to go broke. I was stuck there for nine hours, with my child. They didn't care to hear how i felt or what I thought. They over priced their cars, I paid way too much. I do not trust them at all. I told the lady that having to pay all the extra fees would cut into my children's food. She looked me in the face and said "Well they can eat less."

I am not a new customer, and I feel like the car dealership has a problem with that. They treat new customers very well, but when you are a current customer like myself it is like pulling teeth. I was having issues with my car, and the individuals working were jerks about it. They acted like I was lying about my car. One particular person at this dealership is a complete and utter jerk. I wish I had not signed my papers here, I really do.

I was told I was going to get 8% APR and it ended up being 15%. When I complained, I should have read what I signed. I spoke to someone higher up and they said they would cut me a check for the difference and I have still not received any information regardinf that. I told them the maximum amount of money for payments I could make and still haven't heard anything about that. I love the car, nonetheless, but I feel I ended up with it in the wrong manner. This dealership did not keep their promises.

The salesman was nice and was able to figure out what we needed pretty quickly. Buying the car was easy, but after we bought the car we had to wait for a few HOURS tospeak to financial aid agent. VERY slow with the financial process, but was glad to have a salesperson who knew what would be best for us financially and for our family.
