I used the web site to book an appointment. I explain what I need and even sent an email to the service person that the site paired me with. When I arrived at the dealership, It was apparent that the service person had not read the email or had any idea I had an appointment. Because I am a service provider I can't be away from home for very long. I was made an hour while they did an estimate and oil change. I then had to return the next day because the part had to be ordered. I will say this. This is not how the service department has treated me in the past. So I'm hoping this was a one time event.

EVERYONE at Landers was extremely professional and comforting. I was expecting to be dealing with a shady salesman, and I was very nervous about that, but I was very wrong. We received honest, true information and were dealt with in a fair and honest way. September 5, 2015To: Landers GMC BuickRe: Recent car purchaseThis review is being written as it relates to my recent purchase of a Buick Lacrosse.My salesman, Mr. Randolph Bolton, was very professional, knowledgeable, and patient. From my first contact with him in the spring he displayed his interest in assisting me in making the correct car selection for me (September). He did not pressure me, but kept me informed via email of sales. Mr. Bolton even sent me a recipe for the July 4th holiday. Each time that I visited the dealership, I was given the same amount of patience and professionalism until I made my car selection choice. His professional attitude lead to my choice of automobile and dealership. Other Landers associates Jason Puckett (Service Dept.) came in introduced himself and Al Marchionda (Finance) both gave me their business cards to assist me in the future if I experienced any problems. After my return the following day, another associate, (James Washington), aided me in obtaining a car manual and informed me of the new car owner clinic. Mr. Washington too offered his assistance in helping me learn the uses of my purchase. Since my purchase, Mr. Randolph has called to check to see if everything was alright with my Lacrosse.I know that the end product is to make a sale, but the Landers associates have my highest praise for offering service as if the customer really matters.I am a senior citizen and I really appreciated being addressed as Miss Hayes or Miss Linda and not Linda, which I detest and is a turn off to seniors. BEWARE!!! Talk about overpriced!.. I took my wife's Solstice in due to a small coolant leak. According to the tech the water pump needed replacing. I figured I may pay a little more at the dealership, but they wanted almost $1400 to replace the water pump! I spoke to another dealership in Memphis and they were half that price! I spoke to two other auto repair centers, and everyone else was less than half what they wanted to charge. I learned my lesson! They charged me $99 (plus tax) to diagnose... While that is excessive...Ok. Then when I went to pick it up they tried to add a $15 misc charge on as well!! They told me it was an environmental fee. REALLY??!! I have to pay an environmental fee to have you diagnose??!! I refused to pay it and they took it off. Take my advice and do not use their service department unless you are will to pay double or more. Had the same service done elsewhere, same warranty, for ~$500.

Great experience. Service writer was standing waiting for me when I got there. Took all the info. Sent me to the lounge offering doughnuts. After about 30 minutes, service writer brought work order to the cashier. Paid. Got my receipt and to top it all off an apple!! It is odd to get great service at a dealership but this one sure has it.

I used a coupon for an oil change. The coupon price for the oil change was $24.99. When I went to pay for my oil change the price was $39.00. I question the cashier about the price and she advise the coupon was for 5 quarts of oil and my vehicle required 6 quarts. After double checking the coupon it said up to 6 quarts. They did change the price but I still had to pay $33.00 for the oil change. The service was great and fast, however I think when advertise one price and charge another price that is deceptive advertising .

My wife and I purchased a 2012 Acadia (Certified Used Vehicle) June 2013 during the time we lived in South MS. The airbag light came and we took it to a dealer for repair in South MS three separate times. They always cleaned a connector under the seat. Our airbag light came on again yesterday and I took it to Landers GMC-Buick this morning (7/20/2014) for an oil change and tire rotation and airbag repair. I talked with Jeff and told him it was a reoccurring problem; however, they did not perform the first three repairs. He shared that GM required them to clean the connectors first and them they fix the problem, since mine had been cleaned they would repair it. He called about 8:30am and gave me a list of repairs our car needed that was not covered under warranty. The transmission fluid was deteriorating, air filter, fuel system flush, and throttle body. I asked if the airbag was fix and the serve completed and he said no. I asked him about the warranty and it seemed to offend him, he was rude to point I interrupted and asked him to stop talking and allow me to take for a moment and he did, but he heard nothing I said. It turn out they cleaned the connector for the fourth time in 5 months,; although, they did not clean the connector the first three times. My question is why does the connector need cleaned so much. When I asked him what connector, he was rude an said there are over 200 connectors on the airbag. I would not recommend Landers GNC-Buick to anyone. I am a public figure within this community and will not gossip about them or run them down, but I will politely discourage anyone who asks about my experience with them. Sincerely, Rev. Price

Had to return my car for service because the technician messed up something under the hood during my previous service. They suggested that I needed a fuel flush and after I got it done my car started to make rattling sounds when I gave it gas. It got so bad that it was loud when I returned 4 days later. They said there were some recall issues but I stressed it was the last visit. They had to replace so much stuff to get it right. Also, the tech forgot to reset my tire rotation sensor. I was putting air in the wrong tire. It was up to 60 lbs. before I realize it was the other tire. I believe I'm gonna have to trade it in within the year because I still hear that rattle when I start the car.

the salesman Paul Dillard was awesome!!! the whole staff was awesome the way they helped me get into a newer vehicle which, i will end up paying less for than the used one i originally purchsed. i love the truck although,i still wish i'd have gotten a four door having two kids but,i just couldnt afford any more. but,the overall experience was great starting with the very fast response from Stormy after i submitted my email request.i will definately stay with the Landers family because both times i have been treated like just that "FAMILY" and i really appreciate it!! you don't get that kind of treatment very much anymore. I stopped by the dealership to have air put in my tires. The service person (Jeff) asked me if I thought my engine sounded noisy. I had mentioned that fact when my oil was changed about a month earlier. He said the noise was caused by the timing chain, that GM recently became aware of the problem occurring in some cars, and GM would replace the part and fix the problem for free. I was given a loner car, and the repairs were made. The engine run quieter, and I appreciate being told about the situation and that repairs were authorized by GM. I am very pleased that Jeff volunteered the information.
