Lexus RX350 Fog Light Repair
My fog light busted on my Lexus RX 350. I believe it was gravel from the road I originally thought that the light bulb blew out; however upon further inspection I saw that the entire fog light shattered. I was quite upset. I called Koons Lexus right away and made my appointment. I spoke with the service and parts department regarding the light. They were fabulous. Steve Degnars was so helpful, informative, and kind. Purchased first RX350 Lexus from Koons Lexus of Wilmington. The salesman Tom was very knowledgeable and diligent in conducting a search and locating the SUV given the specifications desired. Debra, the technology specialist, answered all questions regarding the features and followed up after a few days to see if we had any other questions. From my initial perspective, the dealership served this conscientious buyer well.
Mercedes E550
I am very pleased with the service I got at Koons lexus buying a mercedes E550 from them on June 4. My salesman Robert Sweet was straight up with me on price and gave me a final price with all fees. I left a deposit and drove from NYC to Delaware to pick up the car and fear that they will try to hit me with charges when we finalize and I wasted a trip. That never happened, the prices I ask for with all the fee listed was the price the car was sold for to me. My interest was a bit higher than I expected but partly that was my fault as I could have arrange my own financing but I decided to refinance with my credit union anywhere so it didn't bother me. So always arrange financing first but I knew my score and my ballpark range and they were in it. I already decided to buy the car but Robert still took me for over half an hour test drive which i felt he really didn't need to since the sale was in the bag. His attention and customer service and low pressure approach really did make the car buying process stress free. I have recommend all my friends and family to them for their vehicle needs and will be a returning customer.
Outstanding SERVICE
I rarely write reviews but felt compelled to after yesterday's service I received at Koon's Lexus Dealership. First, the appointment I had was NOT for the day I was there. It was for the next day. While I was rattled, no one there was. Mo Sidlik, the service consultant, never skipped a beat and told me that they would take care of the service. I didn't have to reschedule! Then I was told that there was a scratch on my bumper which I had no idea was there. Again, I was rattled. Again, Koon's took care of it and were able to buff it out. Just had my 1st Service at Koons Lexus of Wilmington. This is my 3rd Lexus, and although other Lexus Service Centers are good, Koons is the best. The receivers, service agents, technicians, cashier and everyone else were extremely courteous, professional and friendly. Thank you Kim!!

Excellent 2012 RX350 Purchase!
Just recently purchased a certified pre-owned 2012 RX 350 white w/ Navigation. Very happy with the purchase of this car. It has been a week now. Car drives flawlessly, & smooth as silk. The hour and a half drive from PA was really worth it. Transaction went smoothly, along with the trade-in. It was pleasantly nice dealing with the staffs there. Also, got a chance to look around. All of their used cars look brand new, & prices are lower than other places. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a Lexus.

Purchasing my Lexus from Koons Lexus dealer was the best experience I ever had when purchasing a car. I was skeptical that I may not be approve due to my credit not being in the best shape, but they were able to get me a pretty good and fair interest rate. I purchased a used ES350....and their price & milage of the vechile was way lower than any other Lexus dealerships. My car drives so smooth as if I brought it brand new. To top of my purchase, Koons presented me and my husband with some cool gifts. I purchased my prior Lexus from Wilkie Lexus, and that experience does not even compare to Koons Lexus....Koons is definitely my preferred choice when purchasing a car.

GREAT sales and finance department
My husband and I had stopped by Koons Lexus in Wilmington to test drive a car we saw online at their website. We were greeted by Alex Cordero from their sales department who was more than happy to help us. Alex drove us to the preowned lot to see the car. He had the utmost professionalism and made us feel at ease. He was not pushy and allowed us all the time we needed to check out the car and give it a test drive. We had also met Ollie at the preowned lot who was fantastic. He kept us laughing the whole time while answering some of our questions and concerns. Anything that we had asked of Alex was taken care of without complaint or problem. During the negotiation Alex and Ollie were very responsive and fair. After we had decided to purchase our Lexus IS250C Alex guided us to Brian Pritchard of Finance to handle that end of the deal. Great Customer Service
I own a 2010 HS250h, I did not buy my car from Koons Lexus of Wilmington, but I take it there for services. At my 95,000 miles service from start to finish the Customer Service was great. Rob Payson was very helpful in getting a problem with my front and back Lexus emblems resolved. He called me back when he said he would and it was great news. Rob got my emblems replace at no cost to me. and as a loaner I got to drive the new NX200t it was great, it may just be my new car for my 50th birthday next year. Great Job! Rob Payson and Team.

Terrible service
While the facilities are nice, and initially their customer service was nice after getting my car back I found that the issue I took my car there for was not taken care of like I expected. When I tried to call them back, I was given the run around finally to be told that the services I had taken my car there for were not completed and that because I had given bad feedback on a customer survey that they no longer wanted to do business with me. I recommend finding another dealer to service your car.
Service and Service Center
I have owner a few different cars over the period of several years so I have been to a few customer waiting areas. Koons Lexus service department is a customer lounge in the true sense of the word. Everyone is very nice, they welcome you, make you feel like you belong there and that they will take good care of you (and they do)! There is a variety of beverages, music, TV, fireplace, magazine library, a variety of seating including two computer work stations. My Recent Service Trip to Koon's
Everyone at the dealer was friendly and helpful. They make you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in. You don't mind the wait because the customer lounge is fully stocked with water, tea, coffee, and sometimes snacks (and clean restrooms). I usually bring a magazine and my iPad and enjoy the peaceful background music. I got my car back so clean that it was a pleasure to drive it home. Tire Pressure Indicator Light
I have a Lexus RX 350. I purchased it at Koons Lexus of Wilmington in December 2014. My tire pressure indicator light came on. I called Koons Lexus and got an appointment that day. I asked if the service department could check my tire pressure. They reparied my tire; which had a slow leak due to a nail. It was in and out within an hour. The service department is so kind and fit me in that day. It was a fabulous experience!

Very satisfactory new car service
Jim Fortgang was extremely helpful and courteous during the ordering and delivery process. We only wish that Jim had given us detailed information of the ResistAll product to help us decide on it before we arrived to pick up our brand new RX350. We would of selected ResistAll to be applied before we picked up our RX. We did not understand the value of ResistAll until we sat down with Drew the day of pickup when he gave us a detailed description. So we had to wait an additional 50 mins while ResistAll was applied before we completed the delivery. This was the only minor snagfoo we experienced at Lexus in Wilmington and we definitely give them a very good grade. Also, Matthew Stern was most excellent in teaching us the nav/audio systems in our new RX before we left with the vehicle that day. He is very knowledgeable on the systems and even added some much needed levity when all the new "bells and whistles" appear overwhelming. We'll return for the 5k service and anticipate more great value from Lexus Wilmington.

Service policy change
After buying two new RX350s and having them serviced at Koons of Wilmington we were disappointed to learn that the dealer would no longer pick up our vehicle for an oil change and tire rotation as they have in the past. This was a prime consideration in buying the second car at Koons
Great sales & service experience
I leased my first Lexus SUV 2006 GX460 and loved it, Then I went in a tested the Rx350 and loved that as wells so much so that I leased 2 of them. I'm now due to go for my 4th car from Koons and this year with all the new models it looks like its going to be hard to decide which one will win me over. One thing for sure is that Lexus of Wilmington will get my business. The staff starting with Leigh who always makes me feel so welcome there and the sales team that assisted me starting with Lance Bartell and then Don Nye made sure I understood how everything worked in each car before I left the lot. Now that Lance & Don have retired I look forward to working on my new purchase with Koons newest addition to their sales team Natalie Bloom. I also must mention the excellent service that I have always received when bringing my Car in for service. Lexus Purchase
I purchased my Lexus RX350 at the end of December 2014. It was a wonderful experience! The sales department is phenomenal. Pernell Pressey and Kevin Glenn were so helpful and informative. There was no pressure at all. It was smooth from start to finish. My husband and I had a challenging time sinking the gargage door button in the Lexus to our garage door at our home. Matthew Stern, the technology specialist with Lexus of Wilmington came to our home and walked us through the process. Wow! Everything was outstanding!

On my side, it was a "walk-in search for a car" :) I have been interested in RC F model for quite a while, and came to Koons to see the real vehicle to make sure I am gonna like it as much as I liked it on the picture. I really appreciate my sales person, Anthony DiIenno's help in handling my search requests. He was very professional and courteous, and made everything go very smooth and pretty fast. I own two Lexus vehicles -- LX470 and LS430 -- that were purchased new and have been serviced at Koons Lexus of Wilmington. I find the people in their service department easy to deal with, accommodating with any of my special requests, and offer me a loaner-car. The service work is always done right, they keep you informed while the car is in the shop and they wash my car too. I've always had a great service experience with Rob Payson, Jim Powell and Leigh. They are terrific! Dan Hayes in Sales is great to work with as well.

Koons Lexus is a phenomenal dealership and their customer service is above and beyond anything I have ever experienced!!! Dan Hayes is wonderful! In November 2014, I bought a 2014 Nissan Sentra from Koons Lexus. The previous owner of the car did not have the owners manual or additional key for the vehicle. Dan made it his priority to make sure a new owner's manual was UPS'D to my address. He, also, had two service men drive a loaner Lexus to my job (in Marlton, NJ) so, he could have an additional key made. They, also, drove my car back to NJ for me!!! This was all at no expense to me! After doing an internet search for the best deal (value) and shopping locally, I settled on Koons and it was a great decision. Most of the transaction was made over the phone, Salesman Rob Nestor came in on his day off to meet me and within in 2 hours I traded my vehicle, received tech training, closed with finance and left with a new RX 350. Everyone was courteous and pleasant and the follow up to ensure that everything is ok has been amazing. Best Customer Service
I am not very lucky when it comes to my Lexus keys or navigation system. Koons Lexus has graciously helped me out ech time that I was in a bind. The first time my key fab snapped in half and was basically not usable. I lost the spare a year back. The service dept replace my fab in record time. While I was there I told them how my son stuck a movie in the navigation dvd player and now my navigation is not working. They took a look and replaced the scratched navigation dvd free of charge. They also cleaned my car and it was spotless. This was was above and beyond in my book, since dealerships usually want to charge you for everything. A year later I lost my only key and it was a real nightmare! I was hystrical being I only have 1 car and the cost of replacing the key was terrifying. You can not just order a new key, its an involved process and costly. Alex the GM had my suv towed over to the dealership within an hour of calling the dealership. He had a new key, found a cost effective way of reprogramming my car instead of replacing the computer and again spotlessly cleaned it by the end of the day. I truly believe any other dealer would have made me pay to replace the computer. I am forever thankful to the service department and to Alex for his quick actions and honesty in their work.

Disrespectful after ink was dry.
I had an absolutely awful experience with Koons. After the ink was dry, I received calls from an admin to send in a copy of my degree (for the recent college grad offer) and my title After I already sent it. Told them they had a problem with keeping up with documents. They then asked me to sign a new lease agreement due to "an accounting error" and had the admin contact me regarding the new agreement misquoting the difference in price between the two agreements. After being fed up with dealing with the admin I contacted the General Manager. He was absolutely nasty. Amongst other insults he told me that he knew I was a lawyer and his father was a lawyer and that wasn't saying much. Drew the finance guy told me to bring THEIR car back to them in the same condition, clean with no scratches or scrapes on it. Basically the admin was not adequately trained and the wrong person to handle me. The GM and finance guy were not receptive to my complaints about her. Don't need the trouble. Buy your Lexus elsewhere.

Koons Lexus of Wilmington , quoted their price over the phone. We spoke directly with the General Sales Manager . They had in stock (2) LS 460 L'S and (1) LS 460 "F" {2013 MODELS BRAND NEW} , when we first phoned them . They called and told us they now had one "L" left ; a Double Black with 0 miles . Wilmington is 30 minutes from our home . When we arrived , the " L" was PDI , TANK FULL , AND POLISHED WITH 'REAL WAX ! ' Very simple closing process through Lexus Financial , with the $ 4k Factory Cash , at invoice price ! Beautiful Automobile , Perfect Detail , test drive showed Road Tracking as 100 % straight as an arrow . One word describes the experience : WOW !

Horrible service dept, go to another Lexus dealer!
Have always went to Koons Lexus of Wilmington to get my 2008 LS460 serviced - will never go there again! Brought my vehicle to dealer because it was making clicking noise from brakes. Was told needed new brake actuator for $3,500. Was shocked because the car is 2008 and didn't expect this from Lexus. Asked service mgr if there was anything they can do since the car was originally purchased from them and it was always serviced there. They refused and said nothing they could do. Contacted Lexus corporate and finally talked them into replacing as "goodwill". Several weeks late, went back to same dealership because noise was still there and now told that car needs 4 new control arms and needs another $3000 in repairs. I told the service mgr (Greg) this was exact same noise I brought car in for a couple weeks ago but he was very rude and confrontational and just kept talking over me and said its different part and this is how much it will cost to get fixed. Asked to talk to GM (Alex) and he was not any help, just kept repeating the same thing over and over again like a robot. Tried to reason with them and stated they have made a ton of money in past from service of this car and this was same noise they just made $3,500 from replacing brake actuator but they refused to help. DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALER! Everyone besides Leigh is rude and incompetent. Always had a feeling that the people working in service dept were scam artist and this just solidfied it. Learn from my mistake - go to another dealer or mechanic and get a second opionion before letting this dealership scam you into hundreds and thousands of dollars in repairs!
Good Service Experience
I own two RX330 vehicles that have been serviced at Lexus of Wilmington. I have always found the folks in their service department easy to deal with. They are accommodating in setting up service appointments and have a great loaner-car program if you need to leave your car for the day. The service work is always done right, they keep you informed while the car is in the shop and they even wash your car before you pick it up. Overall, a great service experience.

Beware Old School Guys
This dealership is straight out of the 1980s. Watch out for their attempt to up sell you an unwanted warranty as well as their unwillingness to bargain on price, even when presented with competitively priced cars from cars.com offered by other nearby dealers. Would never buy a vehicle from these Old School Car Guys, especially Ray.
