Daniel Philpot was a pleasure to work with. He was excited to find just what we were looking for at a price we could afford. We got more than we expected in a new truck. We love the truck! Treated me like I was an individual not a number. When I walked in the door Derek met me at the door I was really impressed with his down-to-earth sales tactics. Everybody that was in the building said hello and asked me how I was doing I've done business with several Chevrolet businesses before. I assume the way I was treated any other businesses was the way that business was random but coming to this one I understand they treat everybody as an individual as a business owner and as a father of four that really means a lot to me when people treat me with respect. I'm truly not a person that likes the car buying experience. My wife and I knew exactly what we were looking for when we pulled into Knippelmier. Derek Keesee, our salesman was friendly and understood we knew what we were looking for. Within 10 minutes of talking with him, we had the exact car we wanted at a price that we didn't think we could get, pulled up to the front doors and we were starting the paperwork process. Stepped out of our vehicle at 4:50pm and drove away in our new vehicle at 6:32pm. As the title says, "Friendly & Efficient". Great Service

While vehicle was being serviced, technician noticed a nail in one of my tires. The nail was too close to the sidewall of the tire to be repaired and had to be replaced. Not family friendly

Went in to have vehicle service and warranty work done! But because I have a large family the could not accommodate use! The service gentleman seem to get very frustrated that I even asked for a vehicle that would fit my family! Not ONE person was willing to truly help us! So will have to drive to another dealer that is willing to help! All I heard was there customers are family but they seem to not like large families! Will not come back or recommend them! I pray no one else ever has this experience!

Our best experience EVER buying a new vehicle!

It all began by us looking at Knippelmier's online. We knew exactly what we wanted-- a Chevy HD2500 with pulling package, 6.0 L engine, crew cab. We had had so many friends recommend Knippelmier's, but we had in past bought locally in Duncan. We found exactly what we were looking for on their online site. They were open until 8 pm so we were able to drive up after work. We had used their online chat to ask some questions about the vehicle. Tom called us as we were on our way up to Blanchard and he was waiting for us when we got there with the vehicle driven up front so we could look at it. Turns out the truck we were looking at online was a 4-wheel drive, which we did not want. He popped us in the golf cart and found another truck which was exactly what we were looking for. We set down and talked numbers, no dickering, shell game, just straight numbers. They gave us a very generous trade-in for our 2008 Silverado. We were absolutely thrilled with the bottom line and bought it just like that. Financing was simple and forthright. A 400 mile trip was worth it !

It's scary buying something from out of state and only seeing pictures. But Derek and the rest of the team made me feel so comfortable that I had no worries getting on a plane and coming to buy a truck. I own and operate two separate construction companies and I know what to look for when dealing with a businessman or salesman. I know what words to listen for to be able to tell if the person is being genuine or not. And Derek said all the right stuff and stood by it all when I arrived! Wonderful sales person and staff

The process of buying a vehicle at Knippelmiers was so easy. The vehicle I wanted was not on their lot so Johnnie Bell searched for one for me. Johnnie had to send someone to pick up the vehicle in Arkansas. It arrived on time and the process for buying the vehicle was so easy. We arrived at the dealership and signed papers then off we went in no time at all. I love my new Equinox! I appreciate everything that Johnnie Bell and Knippelmiers have done to get me the vehicle I wanted. I would highly recommend Johnnie Bell and Knippelmiers if you are looking for a vehicle. Also, the receptionist, Katelynn, is a very nice person. Whether you are on the phone or in person, she takes very good care of getting you to the right person.

Great place to buy a new car. Maybe not for service.

Took the truck in for oil change and tire rotation. Nice service guy and quick service. After I left though the service tire monitor came on which required a return trip the following day.The new guy I dealt with was not friendly and seemed bothered that I complained that they had forgotten before to re set the tire monitor and that while two of the outer plastic lug nut covers were not tight , two others were stripped out.I don't like this design anymore than they do, but that's the way chevy designed it, not me.Of all the places you would think the dealership would be trained to deal with the tire pressure monitor and to be careful with the decorative lug nut covers! He basically reprogrammed the tire monitor in the parking lot and ignored my comment about the stripped lug nut covers.Oil change is ok but from now on well rotate tires ourselves. It's just too frustrating to have to remind them to reprogram the monitor and to be careful with the lug nut covers!Really, you should be able to trust the dealer for this simple thing....

Great Experience

I really liked the relaxed atmosphere- everyone was friendly and helpful. Mr. Raby was knowledgeable and helpful. We wanted a certain wheel on the Colorado we were buying- he took care of it. He kept us informed and answered all our questions. Mr. Lister had all the papers ready for us to sign. He was good at explaining the extended warranty and the other paperwork. Oil Change

I received an email stating my auto was due an oil change, followed link in email to set an appointment. I set a time for service, was call on Thursday stating that time was not open, was told I could be here at 11:00 and it would not be more than an hour wait. It is now 12:30 and I am still here. Something needs to be changed on the way online appointments are handled.

Happy SUV Owner

I had a great experience with this purchase. I stopped in looking for a used truck or suv. I dealt with Brian Workman. He was very knowledgeable as to the inventory on the lot and to the trades taken in over the weekend. Within minutes I was on a test drive with the vehicle I eventually purchased. Great buying experience

Great buying experience, I drove the extra miles from OKC to see a vehicle I had viewed online. The vehicle was a new but leftover 2014 Silverado pickup truck. Because it was practically 2 years old, it was priced several thousand dollars off window sticker and because of that, there was no more room for negotiation on price. However, Jerry Powell was diligent in finding another $750 discount. Jerry is very knowledgable and professional. I won't hesitate to return to Knippelmeir for my next vehicle purchase. A great auto purchase experience.

I had a great experience during my purchase. Daniel, my salesman, was very courteous and knowledgeable about the vehicle that I found. After taking a test drive, we went inside and agreed on a price in about 5 minutes. My bank wasn't able to send over a draft that evening, but the manager agreed to hold the vehicle for me for 24 hours. The next day my bank completed the funding, but I couldn't get a ride to the dealership from my house in Norman. Not a problem for this dealership. Daniel drove to Norman (the east side at that) to pick me up and give me a ride back to the dealership in Blanchard! That's a 42 mile round trip and he wouldn't accept any money for gas.When I made it to the Finance department, Jeff had all of the paperwork ready and had me out the door in 5 minutes without trying to sell me anything that I didn't want. Now I'm cruising in a truck that I've wanted for several years and couldn't be happier. Here's a special thanks to Daniel Philpot and Knippelmier!

I contacted the service department via email requesting an appointment for scheduled maintenance and warranty work. I immediately received a reply followed be a phone contact the following day. I received my service on time and all work was completed correctly and in a timely manner. The wait room was spotless and well supplied. Everyone was super friendly and extremely helpful. From the minute we entered the service center, it was a successful experence. 300% above last year when we had problem with the ignition. Someone wasn't there this time with his bad attitude. It really is nice to go into a dealership and the atmosphere be warm and inviting instead of like a hostile fish tank where you are the prey! Our sales man Chris did an outstanding job of listening to our needs and concerns doing what he could to make the sale of the vehicle as easy and painless as possible. I contacted this dealership via e-mail and by phone. I spoke to 2 different sales men and both worked really slow but accurate. One sales man replied to my emails 24 hours later. I sent him email around 8am then he replied next day around 9:30. This went on for about 3 days. Then I decided to placea phone call that was way easier and faster. They had good attitude and good customer service. I didnt make a purchase because they insulted me with my 3 trade in offers. Good customer service but I couldnt strike a deal cause of their low ball offers and their car prices are firm.

My best purchasing experience!

This was my best vehicle purchasing experience ever. I went in on a Saturday and test drove a truck. I left the building with no pressure to make a deal. I came back on Monday and finalized my deal. I was literally in the finance office about 5 minutes. They got me a better rate than we discussed earlier in the day. All in all it was perfect. Great job by Jerald and everyone else. I highly recommend.

Hassle Free enjoyable experience

We are actually a little saddened we did not buy your vehicle here. We simply chose the Ford Taurus over the Chevy Impala, but could not have enjoyed our shopping experience more. Bottom price up-front was $9,000 less here than at the next closest Chevy dealer for a virtually identical model. They handed over the keys, let us drive, left my wife and I alone to visit, and thanked us for visiting them. If we ever buy another Chevy (we have four already), we will buy from Knippelmier.

Buying a car has always been a dreaded ordeal. I must say that was far from the truth here. Our salesman Jim Stubblefield was helpful, honest, and worked to get us an outstanding deal on a truck. I had my heart set on a new Avalanche and had been searching for almost a month. I had almost given up when I contacted Knippelmier and was fortunate enough to meet Tom O'Hern, one of the sales reps. I knew before I talked with Tom that there were no vehicles that met my criteria within the state or surrounding states. Test drive went fine, I liked the truck. The salesman did not really talk to me, he didn't know about the incentives,nor did not offer them to me, and treated me like I was stupid. I don't think he heard a word I said and even if he did he acted like he could have cared less of what I said. He didn't say two words to me unless I asked him a question. I would have bought the Tahoe from Knipplemier if I had a different salesman. I have decided to buy elsewhere. If this is the kind of salesmen you all have, you'll be lucky to sell anything. I will not come back.

When we got out of our truck we were greeted by Jeremy and there was an instant connection with my husband and Jeremy. He was friendly, honest, told us what he didn't like about certain vehicles before he told us what he did like. We never felt any pressure whatsoever. We were actually looking for a Cadillac srx and when I told him what I was wanting in a vehicle he showed us the Chevy Traverse. I wanted more goodies than the one he showed us so he found one with everything I wanted and more. We test drove it and my husband and I both fell in love with it. I stayed silent (other than I told my husband I really liked it) because my husband takes weeks to think about a purchase (big or small) so I figured we would leave and I would have to wait atleast a month...:) BUT he shocked me and told Jeremy he was very interested in getting it that day!!! Jeremy went through all of the financing options, etc. always letting us know what was going on. He kept us hydrated with water and we got a goodie bag and two hats after the purchase. He also went over all of the stuff inside the Traverse. When we left my husband said that that was his first impulse buy in his life and it was all because of his liking the way Jeremy did business with him (no haggling, lying, etc...) So score for ME!!! I left with a new ride!!I have told many others about our great experience there and we will definitely go back!!

After searching the internet and looking at thousands of vehicles. I decided to look at Knippelmier Chevrolet's website. I was skeptical to even dial there phone number to ask for a salesman but that's exactly what I did. After talking to salesman "Jeremy Walters," he told me to come by the dealership like any other salesman at any dealership would do. I personally arrived at the dealership to be greeted by the most down to earth & kind-hearted people anybody could ask for. Jeremy & I went straight down to business and took to the car lot riding on a golf cart to look at potential vehicles that I would possibly be interested in. I don't even think it took 15 minutes looking at the selection of used trucks before I told him which one I was drooling over. NOT AT ANY MINUTE did I ever feel pressured to make up my mind nor did I feel like I needed to rush through paperwork just so he could make a sale and send me down the road. Jeremy made my "wait" the most enjoyable I ever experienced at any dealership while waiting on the creditors approval. For ANYBODY looking for a new or used vehicle go to Knippelmier Chevrolet and experience the feeling of something you'll never feel at any other dealership!!! My husband and I have purchased all our vehicles here since 1986. They took all his concerns and were very good to talk them through or work on the difficulty. He had a high regard for the Service Department. Since 2000 I have continued with them and they have done very well with my trade-ins and taking care of my concerns. I do hold their Service Department in high regards. They take the time to explain to me and give details. The Sales Staff have done the same when trading. I have checked other Dealerships through the years but come back to Knipplemier. Why did I not give an Excellent rating to them ~ I do not give Excellent ratings to anyone ~ They (Sales Staff, Financing, and Service) would be very close though.

Seriously low-balled my trade

Difficult to get calls back from sales staff. Not responsive to e-mail. Quoted less than half the "fair" condition trade in value for trade in for a car in "good" low mileage condition. Generally unimpressive and disappointing overall.

This is not our first purchase from Knippelmier's and I am sure not our last. Our sales person was Corey Holmes and he was great, he made the purchase very easy and stress free. We love our new Silverado Crew Cab, we have received so many compliments on it.

What A RIP

Ok I was in need of a truck. So I call Knippelmier regarding one that they have for sale on cars.com The first salesmen I called about the truck after taking all my information and saying he would call me back did not. So after 4 hours I call back and speak to different salesmen. I ask if the truck has ever had a fifth wheel trailer in the bed of the truck and he says "NO". I am told that it is a one owner truck and only one scuff on the back bumper. He further says a buyer just backed out so you better get here fast. I tell him I am calling from KC KS and it is better than 350 miles so I would like an accurate description of the truck. He explains that he has personally looked at the truck and it is in great shape except the scratch. I drive 6 1/2 hours all night to get there first thing in the morning for what I think is a great deal. When I arrive and see the truck in person, man what a surprise. This thing is junk, absolute junk; the kind that a whole sale buyer wont buy because he can't sell it at auction. Dents and scratches all over this truck. It even looks like it has been in a minor accident. The headlamps and tail lamps look like they may have had water damage. I try to overlook the cosmetic and focus on important stuff, so I start it up. Check engine light is glowing. I ask for a scan tool so that I can check the code. The salesman takes the truck to service department and has it cleared and returns only to say it is a glow plug. Not buying it, but ok I take it for a drive. We get on the highway that runs in front of the dealership and the truck starts to shake really bad at 45 mph. I take it up to 60 mph and this truck is shaking so bad it feels like the wheels are going to fall off. The hood is shaking and looks like it will fly open any minute. I am nervous, the salesman looks nervous so I turn around to head back after about a two mile test drive. When turning you can hear metal on metal grinding, clicking and popping sounds. Similar sounds from the steering shaft which can be moved forward, back, up and down. I ask the salesman who owns and sales trucks what he thinks this might be (strictly an integrity question, since I did not trust the glow plug answer) and he says "I think you just needs some shocks on the front So we are at the dealership and I ask for a car fax because the dealer says he knows nothing about the previous owner. He says I will get you an auto check which as more information. I object but he gets it anyway, this auto check was a waste of paper, because it had nothing on there. I ask for the car fax again and he prints it out and I find out that the truck was bought and sold to their dealership and was a one owner truck. However he still pretends after asking others in the shop that no one really knows anything about previous owner. I know this truck is junk and they have really wasted my time to look at a truck that will not make it home before breaking down, but I ask for them to put it on a lift so I can see the underside. The salesman gets it up on a lift in the darkest workshop I have ever been in. You cant see anything, so I ask for a flash light as he sits on a golf cart watching me. He looks for 10 seconds and says sorry I cannot find one. I get one out of my car and wow! I saw fluids leaking from the rear axle seals, brake lines, transmission, engine, power steering, anti-lock braking system and many other places. The truck had been clearly abused badly. I laughed when I saw where the paint everywhere they were trying to disguise the problems. I told the salesman why I had begun laughing and he said yea that's the detail shop's doing. I also notice there was no spare tire or even the parts to hold a spare tire. When asked if they were throwing one in he said sorry we cannot find one. So there you have it, I traveled more than 700 miles in under 24 hours for a piece of junk that should not be on any lot. Good L

We have been long time customers since 1978 and have never felt pressured to purchase a vehicle we didn't pursue. they just go out of their way to make you feel welcome in a relaxed atmosphere. Not finding exactly what we wanted in their inventory, they managed to find the vehicle with specific options we desired. The deal was fair and we were driving our new Traverse home. The overall experience was a delight and we found the salesman very knowledgeable.

Knippelmier Chevrolet has a new permanent customer. On March 14th I visited Knippelmier to look at a 2011 Chevy Impala I saw on their website. I was met by Jim Stubblefield who was very friendly and helpful in showing me around. We found the car I was interested in and after a drive I decided to try to buy the car at a fair price. Jim never pressured me into buying the car or made me feel uncomfortable. After I told him I was interested, he invited me into his office to get some figures on the car - again "no pressure". We agreed on a price that was very fair and then the dealing stage went to the finance department. I was met by Rick Tucker who explained how Knippelmier works - no hidden fees or extra charges. Rick offered me an extended policy for a price that no one else could come close to and found a really good interest rate. Everything so far had been excellent. I never felt any pressure on anything. Jim never pressured me into buying the car and Rick never pressured me to buy an extended warranty or other options. In the past, I have had some very unpleasant experiences in buying cars (not so good deals, pressure, extra fees when I got to the finance department). Knippelmier Chevrolet is a totally new experience for me and a very pleasant one. Everyone at Knippelmier Chevrolet was very friendly and made me feel totally comfortable and "right at home". I will never buy another car anywhere else and I'll feel feel good when I recommend Knippelmier Chevrolet to anyone else. The car I bought is absolutely great, very clean, comfortable and well taken care of. They did an excellent job of cleaning up the car for me and when I picked it uo, it looked brand new. Thank you Jim, Rick and everyone at Knippelmier Chevrolet for making my purchase the most pleasant car buying experience I have ever had. Dent & ding insurance: worth it!

My son mocked me for buying the dent & ding insurance offered when I purchased my Traverse in November. I scraped the driver fender on my garage door and it was returned (nearly) to its original appearance. The reason I say "nearly" is because dent/ding does not cover paint, but you cannot see the damaged place unless it's pointed out. I'm pretty sure the repair would have cost close to what the insurance cost me, so I've already come out ahead!

Service Department needs some serious training

On the last two occasions I have taken my wife's car to have the oil changed, there has been a problem with over tightening of bolts. I purchased new lug nuts (with caps) for each of my wife's tires, then replaced the old with these new nuts. The next time I took the car to have the oil changed, I also had them rotate the tires. When they tightened the new lug nuts, they over tightened the nuts to the point they caps separated (9 out of 16), ruining over half of the new lug nuts. What I didn't know, at the time, was the person also over tightened the plug for the oil pan. This caused the plug to be stripped. Why did the person use an impact wrench to tighten the oil plug anyway? This causes two problems. One, the obvious is the plug needs to be replaced, which the service department did do. Two, the oil pan also needs to be replaced, which the service department didn't do. Why? Due to the stripping of the oil plug, the threads on the oil pan would necessarily be damaged, and metal fragments from the stripped oil plug could be sucked from the oil pan into the engine causing engine damage. I found this out afterwards, as I have a family member (in another state) that used to be a mechanic.

No Big Deal

I went to Knipplemier to look at trucks. I was greeting with handshake and smile by Ed Paxton. I will be a repeat customer to this dealership. I test drove the truck I was looking at, sat down with Ed and we worked out a deal. This was the smoothest car deal I have ever made. The staff is great and big on quality service. Thanks!

No pressure

We couldn't believe the atmosphere was exactly as advertised. Jerald and Rick were very informative as well as laid back. Absolutely NO PRESSURE. Been to other Chev. dealers who simply would not take no for an answer, hide the keys to your trade, etc. NONE of that happened here. Jerald was recommended to us from co-workers who had bought from them. Loving our 2011 Equinox LT2. Looking forward to, not only doing business with them in the future, but recommending to friends and family for their next car purchase. Cudos to Jerald and Rick, and the Service Dept., for taking great care of us and our new purchase. Was very well worth the drive.

tire rotation forgot to scan tpms

all in all they did a good job. only thing i had problem with, was the technician forgot to scan my tire pressure monitors after i rotated tires, i put in close to 50 lbs in one tire before i realized it was not the right tire. also have extended warranty on car which i thought would cover moisture in headlight lens,which was there when i bought car from knipplemier,but was not covered.

I have just become a Knippelmier Chevrolet Customer for life! We just purchased a 2012 Buick Enclave from their "used" car department. The vehicle looks like a brand new never driven one except for the very low mileage on the odometer. I first started my search for a "new" vehicle online and found several that I liked on Knippelmier's website so I requested information on the ones that I had chosen. Their response back to me was very quick. My salesperson, Jordan Looney, gave me all the information that I requested but never ever pressured me to buy right now. He told me that he would be happy to make an appointment with my husband and I to look at cars when it was convenient with us and that he would like the chance to earn our business. I told him I would get back with him and that was that. We actually called him that evening and asked to come look at the cars I had selected. When we got to the dealership, he had the vehicles ready for us to test drive. No pressure at all from him. He asked us if we wanted to take any of them for a drive, which we did. He stayed at the dealership while my husband and I took the vehicles and drove them. When we got back, he was there to answer any questions we had but never pressured us to come set down and make a deal until we told him that we had picked one we liked the best. At that point he said we could go in and talk about pricing. We haggled a bit and he was more than willing to present our offers to the head of sales. Each time he came back with a reasonable counter and we were very quickly able to meet in the middle for what we felt was a very fair price on a nearly new SUV. Paperwork department was very fast and friendly with very limited amount of papers to sign. Again, there was no pressure for extras to be added on and we were so glad to see that there were NO EXTRA FEES AT ALL added to the sales price that we had previously agreed upon. No processing fees, no extra fees at all!! We were in and out of this dealership within 3 hours of walking in the door. These are good guys that really do want to earn your business. There are no cocky sales people in fancy shirts and ties waiting to jump on the next person that walks in the door. These are just good guys trying to earn a decent living by selling you a car at a very fair price and I will be a customer for life! Our daughter and son-in-law had purchased from Knippelmier within the last year and they encouraged us to go see them because they had the very same experience that we had and were completely satisfied as well. Go see Knippelmier! They will take great care of you and when you leave with your new vehicle you will be surprised to find your blood pressure is normal and you won't feel like you have been taken advantage of.
