My husband and I came to Knauz after a frustrating experience with another Mercedes dealer. We called Knauz to explore other options and were immediately dealt with in a fair and transparent manner by the sales manager, Ryan Herbig. The initial sales price given by Mr Herbig was much lower than the quote by the first dealer and the car at Knauz had more options! We were confident from the outset at Knauz that this dealership was where we should buy the car. The salesman we were assigned was Andreas Rehder who was extremely knowledgeable, courteous and professional. There was no dickering as Ryan already gave us a very fair price that we felt was discounted to our satisfaction. The trade value of our car was also substantially higher than the prior dealer. The car was delivered the next day with no monkey business in a professional manner. Sam Greenberg, the Mercedes Product Specialist, was very patient and thorough in teaching us how to take advantage of all the advanced technology in the car. He assured us we could call him or return to the dealership at any time for more advanced instruction. We also were comfortable with the low pressure explanation of prepaid maintenance plan and extended warranty by Vijay Zaveri. His professional demeanor was also consistent with everyone else we dealt with at Knauz. In summary, we not only were pleased with a great new car with many state of the art safety features but also a professional and transparent interaction with the dealership. Just bought my 4th car from Dick Bradley and as usual he made it an enjoyable and easy process. Dick is the reason we continue to go back to Knauz. He is a very genuine person who goes above and beyond to ensure he has met our needs and he is a pleasure to talk to and do business with. Sam Greenberg was great at going over all the new options and features in my new car. He even demostrated the self-parking feature which I would have been afraid to try if I hadn't seen him do it first! Great car buying experience

Andreas sold me the GLE350 one year ago. I said then it was the best car buying experience we have ever had. He was an awesome saleman that didn't pressure you to make a decision. Forward a year and I had a flat tire service was great I had purchased the tire maintenance service. I just had an oil change and service A walked into the showroom and was greeted by Andreas. Adam was also there he had helped me more than once with all the technical stuff of the car. A great place to get your Mercedes

Andreas Rehder and Sam Greenberg both continued the terrific sale and service I've received and expect from Knauz for the 30 years I've buying Mercedes from them. I once walked into AutoHaus and for 20 minutes, nobody took the time to ask if I had any questions, most doing personal stuff. Knauz is very much a customer focused dealership, sales or service. Sam even came to my home, twice, to program my garage openers. I have just bought a SL 63 AMG, GLE350 and a few years ago a CL550. Sam Greenberg was awesome!

Sam Greenberg outdid himself in being helpful, courteous, and incredibly knowledgeable about the functions of our new Mercedes that would be the most pertinent to us (as it is a lot to take in everything about a Mercedes at one time!) Sam not only showed us the way the functions worked, but made common sense suggestions so we understood why and how a specific setting would work best in our everyday life. Sam was very patient as I am not that tech savvy. Despite my lack of knowledge about some basic iphone capabilities, Sam not only explained the phone functionality, but also showed me how it would be enhanced in conjunction with the Mercedes capabilities. Sam is a very valuable employee and should be applauded for his friendly customer service and going above and beyond what would typically be expected. Thank you Sam!

These guys did a terrific job putting the best terms on the table during a short phone call and provided for quick and informative delivery of the vehicle. There was no need to sit around the showroom while the typical nonsense "negotiation" played out. This is how you buy a car.

Makes buying a new car a pleasant experience.

I have purchased 5 S Class Mercedes over the course of the last 30 years, as well as numerous other vehicles for members of my family. This was the first time I purchased fron Knauz and it was the most pleasant experience I have had buying a new car. Josh Aleksich was our salesman and he was first rate-knowledgeable , courteous and responsive. Pricing was fair and haggle free. It is not often I give an automobile dealership high praise but Knauz deserves it based on this experience.

GL450 Purchase

My wife and I were looking for a car that would allow us to transport our son and his friends to all of his sporting events. We have been looking for months and were never sold on a car or dealership. That is until we visited Knauz Mercedes. I first went in and Mark Saltzman approached me and helped me out right away. We then scheduled a follow up for my wife and son to come in. Sam Greenberg helped us at the beginning. He made sure the car was ready and the A/C was on. They both were knowledgeable on the GL450. 2017 GLS purchase

We drove up in one of our old work trucks, and Josh Aleksich was the first one to offer help with looking at the GLS SUVs. We drove a 2016, and it was a fine vehicle. He even pointed out a used 2016 with only 5000 miles and an extra year warranty. So it was a tough decision, since the 2017 had some new features we loved. We left weighing the merit of each vehicle. Josh was very helpful throughout the process, and I did purchase the 2017 GLS. This is the 4th Mercedes I've purchased with Knauz, and overall they do a very good job. When we picked it up, the air conditioning was putting out hot air instead of cold, so it stayed another overnight at the dealership. Now, all systems seem to be functioning perfectly. Josh even came in on his day off to help us pick up the car, which, of course, was delayed to the next day. He offered to drive it over to us the next day, but I wanted some help with the self parking instructions which he gave us. Josh will do his best to help with whatever is needed.

Easy Process

Sani tried his best to get the vehicle we wanted in a low pressure environment which was very important for my wife. Sani was very professional , and in summary , I would not hesitate in recommending Sani which reflects well on the dealership.

So good, I came back for seconds!

In June of 2015 I purchased a New ML350 from Paul Kim with an assist from Hans Kribbel. The buying experience was one of the best and most enjoyable that I have ever had, and I cant remember how many vehicles that I have purchased in my 66 years. In fact,, our...my wife and I experienced such a professional , relaxed, and positive sales approach, that we came back for another Mercedes last week May 2016. This time, for an E350 4matic for me. I am now a 2 Mercedes family, and can honestly say the drive from Crystal Lake to Lake Bluff was well worth it. While there I dropped of our ML 350 for its yearly check up. Mike Dube treated us like family. The Ml came back looking like new and with a clean bill of health. In fact, Mike gave me more information and details on its condition than my family Doctor. He even showed me some things that our ML could do that I was unaware of. Overall this is the place to go for a new car, used car, or service.

Quick Deal on hours-old CPO E350

Was not looking to make a deal on the day that I visited the dealership, but Paul made me aware of a very recently acquired E350 that I might want to take a look at. The car had only 8800 miles on it and Paul brought the car around, after running it through the carwash. Quick test drive and condition assessment led to an efficient deal negotiation.

We recently purchased a 2016 GLE 400 through Paul Kim, the second vehicle we've purchased through him. Paul makes sure the vehicle meets your needs and that there aren't any last minute problems before you pick it up. Jacqui took me through the paperwork without trying to upsell you with extras like extended warranty like so many other dealers do. The products are explained and if you say you're not interested she just moves on. Product genius Sam Greenberg takes you through the car and all of the systems that it has and will setup your Bluetooth and anything else you need help with. By the time you leave the dealership you'll know your new car and all that you can do with it.

It was a fabulous experience!

I wanted to purchase a new car as a surprise birthday gift for my son. I called Knauz and first spoke to Ryan Herbig, and then Paul Kim. I told them what I wanted. They found the perfect car 100 miles or more away. They were able to get the car for me. In addition to all of the other hoops normal customers put them through, I had an additional request of a big bow for the car. AGAIN they came through. Everything they promised me I got. The car, the price, the delivery date! They both took lots of time with me and explained all of the features of the car. I couldn't have asked for anything more. In addition, after I picked up the car they contacted me several times to make sure I was satisfied or had any questions. I DEFINATELY would recommend them to anyone who wanted to get a Mercedes. They also set up a special appointment for my son to go over all of the functions.

2016 SL550

Recently leased a 2016 SL550 from Knauz. Overall the experience was great. It was a no pressure sale that ended with me getting a package that fit my needs. Paul Kim was the sales person that I worked with on the purchase. He was knowledgeable on the product and helped me in deciding what car was best for my needs. I will say also that I originally started looking at the Knauz BMW line with Brock Gordon and there was no competition for commision between the two sales teams. Brock showed me the BMW line then let me walk over to the Mercedes line with no pressure to just work with him. Once the deal was done, I was introduced to Sam Greenberg. Sam went thru the whole car with me and gave me quit the education. Sam was very knowledgeable on the product and was able to answer all my questions. Overall a great experience.

Easy, easy, easy....

After driving the same car for 12 years, I finally broke down and bought a new one! I can't say enough good things about my salesman, Paul Kim and tech guru Sam Greenberg! Paul was great when it came to helping me pick out the auto that best fit my needs. No pressure, only informative! After I drove the Mercedes GLE400, I loved it but still needed to test drive a BMW X5 before I was willing to purchase the Benz. Paul made it super easy- he told me and my family to sit back and have some free refreshments while he went over to the Knauz BMW dealership and set me up with a comparable X5 to test drive. I was unable to pick my new car up at the dealership the next day so they delivered it to my home! Sam Greenberg came with Paul and explained how everything in the car worked. Sam was patient and friendly and didn't make me feel embarrassed about asking so many questions. Great experience

Let's just say this was the best car buying experience I have had. I am so use to calling every dealer and finally getting it whittle down to the correct price, but not this time. I walked in saw the car I wanted, CLS 63 AMG, and began to look at it. Paul Kim came over and politely asked me if I had any questions. Told him I just needed his best price on the car. I checked three dealers no one came close to his price. He then went out of his way to make the buying experience great with the help of Ryan and Sam. I now know every feature on that car along with having a team that takes care of me with any issues.

Mercedes had some issues producing the car with the color/interior trim combination we wanted but Paul went above and beyond to secure that combination for us. Dick Bradley is an outstanding salesman, who really knows the cars. He's very professional, courtious and wants to be sure you are comfortable with your purchase. He gave us a great price. They did not have the exact car we wanted on the lot, but Dick found one in the area and had it the next day. He had Sam Greenberg walk us through all of the features of our new car, including setting up our phones and contacts, etc. He did a great job.Vijay took care of the financing for us and offered all of the programs that MB provides in a relaxed setting that let us decide, without any undue pressure. The way auto purchase should be!

I have had three prior Mercedes and they have all come from Knauz and all were serviced there. My last Mercedes was 10 years old and running well. I would go on line from time to time to see if a car, that met my expectations would become available. One did. I contacted Knauz via email on Sunday evening, and told them that I was interested. My wife and I went to the dealership on Monday morning, we're immediately met, and drove out with the new car at noon. We were treated with respect, our negotiations were civil and we came to a mutually agreed on price. No anxiety, no runaround, no game playing, just straightforward business in a friendly setting.

I purchased a car from this dealership last week and the service was the best. I inquired online about the vehicle I saw and the responsiveness from Jennifer Pratt was immediate and precise. Best Car Buying Experience Ever!!!!

Ill start by saying that car buying is at the bottom of my list of what I enjoy purchasing and have always dreaded in the past. That all changed since coming to Knauz. Mitch is a great salesman very friendly and knowledgeable and he found exactly what I wanted but never pushed me to buy. He's genuinely concerned about a customer getting what he is looking for and that the customer is happy with his purchase. This car has a lot of controls and cool features that I was not familiar with and Mitch was very helpful and patient when it came to explaining everything as was Evan who also knows a lot about the cabin controls and features a wealth of information and also very good and patient when it came to explaining it all. Vijay handled the financing and the process took a minimal amount of time which was another plus. This was hands down the best car buying experience Ive had and I would not hesitate to purchase from this top notch dealership again.

I was in the market for a new car and found the CLA 250 and fell in love. We worked with Pail Kim and he was such a pleasure to work with. He was knowledgeable and not pushy at all. He really made it such a great car buying experience. We finally decided we had to have the car and went to pick it up. Great Experience at a Knauz!

I had bought a BMW X5 10 years ago at Knauz and had a nice experience. I thought it was time to update the car I was driving but wasn't sure if I wanted another BMW or switch to a Mercedes. Either way, I thought the best place to check out new cars was at Knauz. I ended up trading in the X5 for a Mercedes-Benz 2015 ML350 and could not be happier. The car is awesome and the experience at the dealership was above and beyond my expectations. I just want to give a shout out to Jacqui Wiegand, my sales person, and Claire Skuble, the Mercedes-Benz concierge. Jacqui was extremely helpful when it came to making a decision to buy the car. And Claire was incredible with her knowledge and patience in teaching someone all the "bells and whistles" that came with the car. No buyers remorse for me - this was a great experience! I highly recommend Knauz!

Knauz can not program a key

I brought my s55 amg in to purchase a second key, Knauz service could not get the programming of the key to work with full function. The key will not open all doors and will not open the trunk. What is worse after two visits the key is still not working properly. I have left messages with the service advisor who will not return my call. If Knauz can not take care of a second key why should I trust them for any other service. Instead try mercedes of Hoffman Estates.

The car was extra clean but had footprints on the carpet, so they cleaned them again. We asked to take the used car to another Mercedes dealer for a check-up and they agreed without hesitation. When we had second thoughts about buying a used car Andreas and George, the sales manager, were understanding and gracious and refunded every penny of our down payment.

I recently purchased a vehicle here...and had a very interesting experience. My sales rep (Perry) was fantastic - he communicated clearly and went out of his way to make the experience positive. His manager (Hans) was arrogant and insulting when I began a simple negotiation of the vehicle price. I fully respect a dealer's need to keep margins appropriate but I simply do not like being talked down to in the process. Hans gave me the feeling that unless I was a wealthy cash paying buyer I was wasting his time. After all, I was only spending a measly 60k.Perry kept me engaged and in the end he was the only reason I purchased here. I will refer friends and family to Knauz but with one huge caveat: Work only with Perry and be prepared to pay a bit more for the "privilege" of buying at Knauz.

Then, the sales service representative transferred us to Perry Lerman. From there his response was very excellent and very open for dialogue/negotiation for price. His negotiations skills are excellent which made us to go to the dealership same afternoon and we ended up buying the car. He also helped us to get some car maintenance services for 2 years. Went to Knauz Continental Autos because I saw a good looking 2011 Black Mercedes Benz E350 online. I was pleasantly surprised to see the large autoplex that Knauz owns with all the different car dealers they have. I made an appointment with Perry and he immediately greeted me at the door and was extremely friendly and easy to talk to. He was able to answer all my questions without hesitation and took me for a nice test drive of the car. I liked Perry's style because he was not overbearing in his sales pitch, but was able to explain everything about the car that me me feel like this was going to be the right purchase for me. I can tell you hands down that I was able to get the best car for the best price compared to all the other Mercedes Benz dealerhships around town. Perry, Hans, and the other sales manager (his name is slipping my memory now) really went above and beyond to give me the best possible deal which made my wife and I feel really great. I have now owned the car for over 3 weeks and love it! I stopped by Knauz recently and the sales team treated me just like a VIP. Perry took my car through the car wash as a friendly courtesty and I certainly appreciated his great service. I will be highly recommedning Knauz Continental Autos to all my family and friends!

This is my second new Mercedes purchase from this dealership and Mr. Bradley. (2007 and 2012 models). Based on those experiences, they will also be where I buy my third when the time comes. Easy to deal with, straight forward with their answers and very knowledgeable about the products and incentives. Pricing was as fair as to be expected, and better than other local dealerships I visited for comparisons.

My buying experience with Dennis, Hans and Denise at Knauz was quite positive. Their professionalism as well as friendly and attentive service outshone 2 other area Mercedes Benz dealerships. The difference between dealerships was vast and distinct. First, they answered my email and returned my phone calls promptly. Secondly, they addressed all of my questions, even though my first question was price! I knew I wasn't buying a go cart but I still wanted to know the number. It is, after all, my money. They didn't avoid the inquiry, rather, they gave me an answer. Therefore, I wasn't ignored as with the other the two other dealerships. To the other dealerships, that's called respect. This was one of the best car buying experiences I have had. The staff was very straight forward about the deal. I felt no pressure at all. We worked with Perry to complete the deal,he was very informative about the warranty and features of the car. Denise was helpful to complete the paperwork. After the sale was complete, we discovered a minor issue that Knauz took care of without delay.

Knauz is the best luxury car dealership we ever experienced. The first visit, we thought their showroom open till 9:00 pm and arrived at 7:55 pm. Turned out they should be closing at 8:00 pm. Regardless, the sales manager (Hans) and sales consultant (Dick) greet us and answered all our questions and even test drove a MB ML-350. By the time we left, it was already 9:30 pm. Their professional ethic towards work is exceptional. Their price is excellent also, never pushed us to buy anything. They think on behalf of the customer and established a mutual beneficial sales/customer relationship. After comparison shopping, both of their service as well as price won the competition. I am super glad to buy from them and will recommend more people to go there.

Staff is great at Land Rover. Always accomodating, and fits me in last minute! Even though I don't own a RR anymore, I bought a BMW from Knauz next door because my experience has always been fabulous at RR. I still come by and visit my friends at RR when I'm at BMW! As usual, Knauz did an awesome job servicing my car. Knauz always is price competitive, offers fantastic specials, and provides a Savings Card which entitles the customer to an even greater discount. Furthermore, when I was shopping for tires for my Mercedes, Knauz matched not only other dealers' prices, but online sites' prices as well. When I experienced car trouble in the middle of the afternoon, Joe Coleman and Joey Sojka got my car in immediately; and Joey Sojka greeted me and his technician took care of my car's immediate problem as well as curtailed a potential problem. Joey kept me abreast of the work needing to be done. My car was returned to me repaired and clean as always: the exterior, wheels, and tires were spotless; the interior was vacuumed and cleaned. I thank Knauz for another excellent service visit.

Jim, our "salesman" (in name only), was one of the worst I have encountered. I have purchased 4 vehicles at Knauz over the years, with no problems, but this salesman, and the MB dealership in general, have a dismissive, borderline arrogant attitude. They treated my wife poorly--ignoring her, not answering her questions, etc. We have lived in Lake Forest for 25 years, and expected better treatment, but none was received. Will never go back to Knauz--went to Autohaus on Edens. Totally different sales experience--bought our new car in a day--no hassle--from a polite salesman (Kevin) who knew the car well, and was actually interested in helping us decide which car to buy. Knauz needs a wake-up call. Too bad, really, we wanted to give our business to our local dealer, but they left us with no choice.

Bought a new car from this dealer and found the sales staff to be much better than other MB dealers in the (Northern) Chicago area. The sales staff was pleasant and did not pressure me, even though I was dressed in casual clothes and relatively young (late thirties). Other dealers took one look at me and hardly gave me the time of day. Knauz dealt with me fairly and I was happy with the deal.
