Not only did they damage my rare paint job, but they screwed up the wiring which had NOTHING to do with the repairs i brought it in for! I CLEARLY told Steve not to put my car through the carwash. He assured me they would not. They did anyway and now my near perfect paint is scratched up and has a gauge scraped off the side of the headlight lid. I have no idea what they did to the wiring, but i get to listen to this xxxx clicking noise coming from behind the console non-stop now! Steve White is a con artist. Once you pick up your car, he ignores your calls and emails. They also heavily pad your bill then Steve the con will tell you he's ''giving you a discount.'' All BS!
Horrible customer service!
they sold my husband a truck and got him in a bad deal, I had to get a lawyer to resolve it the situation. When we returned the truck, they were very rude about it.
Staff was personable and respectful of my decisions. Felt like everyone made that extra effort to ensure I had a good experience from start to finish.
New corvette broke down ! Bad service!
I bought a 2016 corvette which already broke down and had been in service a week waiting for them to fix. The staff says it will be done in 3 days which is going on 5 days. I then try to buy another corvette to trade that one in to wait around 3 hrs and them say that they do not want to help me and there is nothing they can do . I laughed and told them you just lost business! Currently still waiting for the junk they sold me to be fixed so I can off it to another dealership. More then half of the sale men don't know crap about the things about the cars they have on the lot . Worst experience ever ! Never will I or anyone I know go back to John l Sullivan ! Beware of this dealer they don't seem as good as it looks you got to look deeper into this place.

Worked with Chris Kircher on Leasing new Volt. Got us exactly what we asked for at the price we wanted. This is my 2nd vehicle purchase in 3 month. Both with Chris. Cannot say enough good things about the whole process. Smooth and without a hitch. Chris is the Internet Sales manager and took care of all the paperwork BEFORE we ever set foot in the dealer. A highly professional team
We were looking to buy a "green" or "low-carbon foot print" car. We went to other dealerships but did not have our concerns answered or our anxieties alleviated about taking the step to electric. Heath Carney, their Electric Vehicle Specialist answered our questions and provided information that gave us the confidence to buy an electric (hybrid) car. He provided a thorough overview of the car: how to drive it, maintain it, charge it; even how to set up the least expensive charging; and how to obtain the tax credits and rebates. It did not stop there, however, he also provides support by way of a website that we can access into the future to get the latest.The buying experience is the best we have ever had - we have purchased about 15 new cars. Our expectations of what we had agreed to pay is what we actually paid. The facilities and staffing were designed to make the experience positive - cafeteria, customer relations specialists, beautiful facility, comfortable waiting areas, and staff who obviously enjoyed their jobs.OVERALL, HEATH CARNEY MADE THE DIFFERENCE! His ability to answer our questions and give us specific guidance on our future with the car ( a 2016 Volt) gave us the confidence we needed.

Easy new truck
Joseph was very friendly and helpful, Ryan made the financing work and the process was thorough yet quicker than some of my previous purchases. Alisha introduced me to many features in my new truck that were all new to me. All in all it was the perfect car shopping trip, go in find what I want and get it.
The right fit
When we first went to John L. Sullivan we were just looking. John Winkleman assisted us and was extremely knowledgeable on the car I was looking for. A couple weeks later we came back to look some more. John was not available but had his colleague Juan Quezada assist us. By then we had been to numerous car lots searching for the right Camaro. I explained exactly what I wanted to Juan, he showed me a few models but insisted I try one specific one. This beautiful ice gray metallic Camaro RS. The moment I got behind the wheel I knew it was my car. We took it for a test drive and I was in love with it. Juan was patient with me, my questions, the pouring rain, and could answer any questions about the car. Tony K, Steve Sady both worked hard to get us done so that I could drive home that night with my new car. I have never felt so welcome, so appreciated, and treated so nicely at a dealership. I loved my experience with the crew here and I highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy a car.
I have had very poor service with Lance Duarte.
I have called Lance Duarte, Charles Dean, J.R. O'Grady, Byron Mudd and now I have emailed back and forth with Joy Sanders. At this point I am happy with Byron as a sales guy...He did not know anything or withhold information on purpose and whether or not the rest of the people at John L. Sullivan Chevrolet did or not they represented the 2014 Impala LTZ2 as being perfect and never in an accident. That is false. I had the car at a local body shop per the recommendation of my insurance company and they brought it to my attention that the car had been in an accident on the passenger rear side, re-painted and was missing an emblem. I also here massive grinding of the brakes when releasing the e-brake and then backing up. I have brought all of this to John L.Sullivan Chevrolet's attention and have been ignored for the past week and a half. If we cannot resolve this soon I will be retaining counsel and suing John L. Sullivan Chevrolet not only for the car, but for the attorney fees.

I can honestly say that I couldn't be happier with my experience purchasing my new SUV last night. Fast and Friendly Service
I have to commend your advisor - Mark E. Rogers!! He went above and beyond his "duty"! Last year it took almost 2 hours for the oil and lube. This time he had it done in 1/2 hour, fixed the screen the way I liked, and gave me his card in case I have any other problems.
Franklin was very informative and patient. He spent a good amount of time taking us to each of their dealerships and going through each car thoroughly. He made it smooth and seamless. What a great experience!

Good start bad hand over of vehicle!
My car buying experience started off good Joseph was a very friendly and patient salesman we went back and forth for 6 hours! Finally striking a deal on a Camaro. Big thumbs up to Ron the finance guy. He sold us things we didn't know we needed JK lol. Unfortunately what started off good turned to "OK" got your signature now here's your key and get out. Yes KEY.. No time were we told one key until the last moment. Usually every other car I've brought (even used) I was handed a second set. This time it wasn't disclosed until I was walking out. No big deal really as the guys put it, but after spending $21,000 on a car u would think they would program another key at no additional cost ($90)... We went back and forth on it until I was too angry to argue my point. (Also having two kids who had enough of hanging around dealership all day didn't help my patience) needless to say I drove away from there frustrated and although I had a good experience with Joseph & Ron ( the guys that approve customers requests(like a key cut) should work on their customer relation skills! I probably wouldn't give any repeat business to this dealership based solely to the attitude after we had signed for the vehicle.

Following a bankruptcy filing due to medical surgeries we received a letter from John L Sullivan Chevrolet inviting us to inquire about auto financing. We stopped in to see how the program worked. We were introduced to Franklin Torres who patiently explained everything to us. We had no intention of purchasing anything that day however at the end of around 3 hours we had an approved loan on favorable terms and drove a 2015 Kia Soul home.We are very grateful. Treated KWith Dignity
Due to heart and cancer surgeries we went from employed to disabled and were forced into bankruptcy. We surrendered our car as a part of that. Having received a letter from the dealership that they may be able to help us with purchasing a car we stopped in to see how their program worked. From the very first contact we were treated politely and professionally. Franklin Torrez worked with us, helped us find a vehicle that we were happy with and obtained bank approval, all within about 3 hours. We have a 2015 vehicle at a lower payment than our previous 2012 model that we surrendered. We had not intended to buy a car yet but wound up driving one home that afternoon. The experience was painless and not once were we treated like deadbeats or shown anything but friendly and helpful professionalism. Thank You!
Simple fix, then a ridiculous mess.
When I took my Saturn Ion into John L. Sullivan's Chevy to have the ignition switch fixed, I returned to find my tail light broken. There had been a crack, but it was covered in strong tape. This has worked through car washes and hand washes for years. But, as soon as I bring it to John L. Sullivan's, somehow, it breaks completely. The whole cover was broken. Noone claims to know how it happened. It was said they do not use pressure washers, and the cameras do not get a view of the rear of the car. When I asked how they planned to fix it, they said it was not their problem. Eventually they found the part, priced it and told me they would install it for no charge, but they still expect me to pay for the part. I leave my car trusting they would fix the problem I brought it for, and they would give it back in at the least the same condition as when I brought it. Someone broke my taillight and now they refuse to replace it. I am in no way satisfied with any part of my visit I would not recommend John L. Sullivan's Chevy Dealership to anyone who would like their car to be kept in good condition in good trust.

I would like to extend my many thanks to Frank Torres, I literally have bad credit from a divorce with a foreclosure, I had a vehicle that I purchased from a dealer in Shingle Springs that was a money pit, I put 2 engines and now it needed a transmission, I spent all the money I had to keep this vehicle on the road and couldn't do it anymore. I saw the add on line for John L Sullivan and called, I was connected to Frank and explained my financial situation and needed a vehicle. He was more than happy to explain what my options were and what I qualified for, I never thought I would get a loan but Frank Torres worked for me and made it happen.. Old GM, I guess 2009 didn't get rid of them all.
First off, this dealership is 50+ miles from my house, so over the years we've never made it out, since we have more local Chevy/GM dealers in our vicinity.I found an ad on John L. Sullivan Chevrolet's website for a Volt, looked good in the pictures, and the price was very competitive. I called to inquire about the vehicle, I talked to a Jason, he informed me that the car was available, and we set up an appointment to look at the car and other Volts. He said the reason he wanted to do an appointment was so he could take us straight to the cars we wanted to see/that fit what we were looking for. Made sense to me.He offered to text me contact info, he never did.Got to the dealership a bit early, walked around, found several Volts, but not the one in the ad, that Jason said was available. Since he never gave me his contact info, I had to call the main line and get routed to him. A few minutes later, he walks out with several other folks. He hands me off to I believe his name was Val. Jason promises me that he will talk to us personally before we leave (car is for my father, so I had my parents drive up too).Val immediately asks what we're looking for. Well that's not good because Jason knew what I was looking for, why doesn't Val know? I show him the ad on the cell phone, and he goes off to search for the vehicle. Many minutes later he drives up in a black Cruze and says it's probably not on this lot, but possibly on a different lot. He asks us to go with him to the other lot to see if the car is there. We hop in and drive off to the other lot. There's plenty of Volts at this lot, but not the one in the ad. Val goes to check the other side of this lot and tells us to take a look at these cars. Problem is that all of these cars are locked and none have any pricing. Val returns and says the car is not here. I start to get agitated, thus far we've seen nothing and we've been on the lot for about 40 minutes now. I ask to go back to the main lot, and we all get in to the car, then he brings us to another lot to look around. Needless to say we didn't find the car at the other lot either.On our way back to the main lot I ask to talk to Jason, Val tells me he probably went home already. Val goes into the main showroom to find out where the Volt is. Many minutes later he comes out and tells us the car has already been sold. Why he didn't do that before we went driving around to search for this car that had already been sold, I'll never understand, other than bait & switch. I ask to take to a manager.Many more minutes later, a guy comes out, to confirm that the car had been sold. He gives the standard "sorry, we don't mean to waste your time" type of generic apology. He then offers to make us a deal on another car. Many more minutes later, Val brings out this other Volt with more than double the mileage of the car we came to see. My first thought was "this car should be less expensive than the other cars", come to think of it, this car didn't have a window sticker price on it either, I don't know if maybe I just missed it or if Val took it... now I wonder. They won't tell us what the great deal is going to be until we consider seriously buying this car, keep in mind we hadn't even test driven the car yet. He had just driven it up let us walk around it. That's when we decided to leave. The manager never came out again to touch base with us or anything.Not a good first impression of John L. Sullivan Chevrolet. We were actually ready to buy a car that night, in fact we did, at another Chevrolet dealership.Definitely not going to recommend this dealership to friends and family, many of whom currently drive GM products.We're definitely not planning to return here when we purchase our next GM vehicle.

They Listened and Did what was in our best interests
I've purchased and leased many cars over 36 years with 4 kids and a wife. This is one of the first times I really felt like the sales team really listened to our desires to get the best deal possible, sign the papers and get home. Coby, Keith and Devon did just that. Keith even went out of his way to find an extra discount for us AFTER the deal was negotiated. Who does that in an auto dealership? They were friendly, hospitable, attentive and didn't play games. They didn't pressure us to buy anything we didn't want but gave us enough information to make informed decisions. We enjoyed our experience so much that, after helping our daughter lease her first car, we referred our other daughter to them and she leased a car from them the next day. I would definitely recommend this team and this dealership.

Leroy kept me informed. Although I brought 2011 Impala in for "Service Stabilitrak" indicator occasionally on, Leroy said Battery low, so I replaced it. Leroy said sometimes unusual messages when BATTERY IS LOW. Re: Service Stabilitrak message, service folks checked solder and said it was OK. I just want to be SAFE on the road. Everything seems to be OK, but I will continue to observe the messages on computer in car. I realize that Stabilitrak will be fixed AT NO CHARGE if within 10 years of car on road, or 100,000 mileage whichever comes FIRST. My SAFETY comes FIRST.
This dealership is great. Customer service was excellent. Went in to find a black on black Silverado crew cab 4x4. When I got there I was greeted by John Winkelman, I let him know what I wanted and what I wanted to pay. When I didn't like anything on the lot there he drove me to their over flow lot and that's where I found the truck that I wanted. What I liked best about this delership was that they found the truck that I wanted and made the car buying experience stress free. And to end this, the dealership is very clean.
Salesman Mark Thames Is the Best!
I was suffering from wasted time twice daily with at 1.5hour one-way commute to work! It was driving me nuts with frustration. As a local dentist, one of my patients, Mark Thames, told me about his Chevy Volt and how it allows one to use the car pool lane with no passengers! He was kind enough to allow me to actually borrow his car so I could test the notion that my commute time would be significantly shortened if I bought a Volt! And since that was my one and only motivation to consider a second car, I was happy that he allowed me to see if it would really make a difference in the quality of my life!!! I had the use of his car for one week and I was sold!!! I bought my Volt and it is now my go- to around town vehicle!!! The secondary bonus is that I use no gas for my around town driving!!! 33 miles gets me to town. I plug in at my destination and that charge gets me home with zero dollars spent on gas!!! When I do fill up the car, it only costs $20 for the entire tank! I am in love with my car and more thankful to my wonderful sales rep, Mark Thames, than words can say! In fact all the Chevy reps I met during this transaction were knowledgable and extremely helpful. YES! I would whole-heartedly recommend John L. Sullivan Chevrolet, of Roseville California and especially, Mr. Mark Thames, to anyone! Best car I ever bought! Best and most seamless car purchase I have ever made! What a Great Experience
We came in to lease a 2015 Chevy Cruze after seeing advertisement in the Sacramento Bee. I have never had such a great experience buying a car. Dyson made us feel very welcome, he was friendly, knowledgeable, and sincere. Both Keith and Devon exceeded our expectations, as well. Quick and Easy Car Purchase
I found a car listed at John L. Sullivan on the Roseville Automall website. I emailed the contact, Byron and he quickly responded. I advised him that I was out of town traveling but was very interested in the vehicle. Byron immediately sent me a couple of forms to complete and return and he went to work putting together a deal. When I returned from my trip a couple of days later, I met Byron at the dealership, test drove the vehicle and was able to quickly complete the deal. My wife loves the vehicle and I loved the quick and painless experience. Byron was very professional and extremely knowledgeable and made the car buying experience painless.

Just had my Impala serviced and very pleased. I have had over the years 6 or 7 GM cars, this is my 3rd Chevy, and I have always noticed that the car ran noticeably better Serviced at your facility, than when I used a independent repair shop. Great sales person and easy overall lease experiance
We decided to lease an electric vehicle on the last day of a special lease offer and Byron was very helpful in contacting us and explaining the lease deal. His son had the same type of car we were leasing so he know a lot about owning and using an ev. Overall a quick and rather painless buying experience. My children were excited about us getting an electric vehicle so they were with us through the whole leasing experience and even went home with a bag of cookies from one of the dealership employees.

Overall We bought 3 cars from J.L Sullivan and every time our experience was great, but last time it was horrible.Guy name Randy is very uneducated and unpleasant. I did not only found him rude and arrogant, but also he is a liar.When I bought my last car there were certain things I asked to be fixed and he said he will take care of them. When I went back to get them fixed they were not done. It was documented and everything. He changed his word from "getting fixed" to "get it out". Which means same to me.I don't care about body work so much since my best friend own body shop but I was highly disappointed with sales department because they couldn't keep their work.
Outstanding service over the years...
Warren has demonstrated exceptional customer service skills. From our first car purchase with horrible credit; Warren stood by our side guiding us along the way. Though the sale took forever, Warren was patient and extremely helpful. Now two cars later, we were able purchase our FIRST brand new car. This will be our third car purchased from this dealership. When ever we go in, we ask for specifically Warren. He makes the car buying process easy and actually enjoyable. I would highly recommend this guy! He makes you feel at home, with a no pressure attitude. I look forward to our next car purchase with Warren, but hopefully not too soon :)

LOVE MY CAR
I'll be honest, car dealerships freak me out! I always imagine a bunch of car salesman ready to pounce and convince you to buy overpriced cars you can't actually afford. Dyson at John L Sullivan changed that view for me! I could not have asked for a better representative, he was amazing to work with and very open and understanding to my needs. In fact, I left with the very same car I had said I wanted to begin with!Coby Bell is pretty awesome too as he followed up with me to make sure my car was still meeting my expectations. If all of John L's employees are as awesome as these two have been during my entire car buying experience, I definitely know where I'll be purchasing all of my cars!
Better Deal than Costco!
We started out at another dealership using the Costco Auto Program, which was supposed to be the lowest price. John L Sullivan's special in the Sacramento Bee beat the Costco deal. The process was straight forward and honest and the price on the lease as discussed on the phone. We'll buy our next electric from Heath Carney at John L Sullivan!
Attention to My Special Needs
As a traveling homeschool teacher with Multiple Sclerosis, I need a car that I can take my curriculum in and out of easily. John showed me my options and I fell in love with the Chevy Traverse LTZ. Heat is a huge issue with MS patients and this is the only option with air-condition seats! John could see how disappointed I was when I realized that as a teacher with hefty medical bills, I would never be able to afford the new LTZ and gently and positively steered me to the used section where a recent arrival had come in with all of the options I ever dreamed of. Although I could still not buy this car, John sat with me in it and discussed all the great things about it and what to look for in this type of car. The time and care John took with me was really great. Doesn't happen very often when this teacher walks on a car lot. Thanks, John!

They understand the stress of buying car.
I came in looking for a car but like everyone else I was stressed about the process. To make things worse it was my first time buying a car, however, AJ was really relaxed about the whole thing. When I first met him I thought he was going to be like your typical pushy salesman but on the contrary, he was really interpersonal. He was helpful and made the waiting process more enjoyable. We ended up talking about where he is from, some of his experiences and shared a lot of laughs. Definitely left their dealership with the car I wanted at the deal I asked for and with a great experience. Yes I did have to wait for some x amount of hours but at no point was I dreading my wait. I would recommend giving John L. Sullivan a chance.

I was there on Friday for my regular oil change and maintenance check and as always, Dave was super friendly and helpful. I then saw our salesman Joseph Youbiba and made an appointment to come Saturday to get my husband another vehicle. Joseph was there bright and early Saturday morning and made our buying experience painless, easy and fun! This is the fourth vehicle we've purchased from John L. Sullivan and I wouldn't go anywhere else.
My tech Ruben G. took the time to explain the issues with my vehicle and what I should address in the future. My advisor Bill D. kept me informed and offered me all discounts that he was allowed (everything helps). It's really convenient having rentals available onsite.

Overall experience with the Sullivan auto group was amazing! From the selection online to the friendliness and promptness of the staff. Vince followed up my situation and assured he would do whatever it took to get me in the car I wanted. Needless to say he followed through with his word and that meant the world to me. Not only did he save me time by preparing the preapproval before I made the 2 hour drive but he made sure I spent more time driving my new Mercedes-Benz than sitting in a large waiting room for hours. The service staff was very helpful to us in working with the company that sold us our extended warranty. As a result, 75% of the work we needed done was covered by the warranty. Yearly oil change and tire rotation
I wish your mechanics would leave the buttons alone! or put it back where they found it - had to go to the manual to get my speed displayed and get the inside lights to work correctly!

Generally a good experience, need a bit more in the waiting area, maybe wifi and a couple of computers with one or two less game consoles that I have never seen used.
New Car Purchase
Warren was low key and no pressure (which was important). His style entreated us to move forward and we enjoyed getting to know him a bit while we worked through the purchase process. We are very happy with the car and our experience at John L. Sullivan. We are closer to the "other" Chevy place, but chose to drive to Roseville because of the customer service. You will not be disappointed!We also did our paperwork with Devon Allen. It was like seeing a friend again since he did our paperwork 20 years ago when we bought our first new truck. He zoomed us through the paperwork efficiently and we were also able to purchase GAP and an extended warranty. I have never seen anyone work so fast! Loved it!

Great Tire Help
Had a tire problem in my new 2014 Traverse and John L Sullivan's service rep for the tires was fantaistic. Got the tire switch-out even with holidays at hand.
i went there for the recall of the ignition switch and that was done in good time. the only thing that was a bit off was that they gave me this paper work when it was done with a list of things that they checked but every thing was checked as being in good condition, but as i look at the front tires they need replaced as they are worn out. now why would they give a check off paper if they did not look at the the things they checked off?

leaking valve covers
went in for some small oil leaks they said they were not bad enough!! I asked them if they tightened anything they said no!! I asked them to check the torque and the did and steamed the motor!!

I live in Barstow CA. I had my Chevy Avalanche truck in a local Chevy dealer ( Rancho Motors Victorville CA) several times recently and every time I left there I still had a problem. I was so frustrated and made complaints about them not fixing the truck. After spending $2000-$3000 there, I gave up on them and decided to have a dealer near my Mom look at it. My Mom lives in Roseville CA and we were planning on spending most of Thanksgiving week with her. I called John L. Sullivan dealer on Tuesday before we left for our trip and tried to make an appointment for Fri or Sat but they were all booked. The lady I talked to was very nice and told me I could drop if off and if they had time someone could look at it. We traveled up North the day before Thanksgiving and during our 7 hour drive we had mechanical problems with our Avalanche. Previously it was off and on problems but it was so bad on our trip I was afraid to make the 7 hour drive home. I help a dog rescue and had 5 small dogs with me. It would not have been good to break down. Friday Morning I went first thing to John L. Sullivan. I even offered to leave the truck over night because I knew they would be busy. I am writing to you because of the exceptional treatment I received. I was helped by Steve White and I explained my situation. I found out more just talking to Steve , before my truck was ever looked at, then I did having it worked on several times at my local dealer. Steve was sympathetic to my situation said he would find a way to get my truck looked at. I received a couple calls from him during the course of the day letting me know what was going on. He stated he put his best mechanic on it and they would get to the bottom of my problem. I thought for sure the truck would have to be left overnight but Steve called me midafternoon with a diagnosis. Unfortunately, the problem was too complex to fix during my stay but I was informed it would be safe to drive home and have the work done here. Steve even told me, if I had any questions once I got home I could call him. The shop I took it too once I got home did have a couple questions so I called Steve and left a message. Steve promptly returned my call and answered my questions. I really wish I could have stayed longer and had it fixed at John L. Sullivan but I had to get back to work. I am finally on the right track! I want to thank Steve and everyone I talked to that day. From the women on the phone when I first called, to the young lady that checked me in, and the young ladies working check out, everyone was so kind. I wish I had gotten all of their names. Steve even charged me a little less then was first said. This dealer is 7 hours from me, but if I ever need anything and I can get it done there on one of my visits to my Mom, I will be sure to have it done there. I worked customer service for 19 years and I know that complaints come in way more often than compliments. I like to be sure and compliment when a great job has been done. Having recently filed bankruptcy, I really doubted that I could get a new car which I desperately needed. Vince Doran totally knocked this car buying thing out of the park! I showed up at 5 pm and was home by 8:15 pm with my new car. And what an awesome car it is!! Down payment and monthly payments I can afford, plus I look really good driving this car!! Perfect Service Visit
My Volt wouldn't charge. I called and they were able to get me in the very next day. They gave me a loaner vehicle while the work was completed. They even checked to see if any other work was recommended while I was there and found that a computer adjustment should be done. Received my vehicle back in tip top shape and it is performing wonderfully. Will stick with john L. Sullivan for my future service and purchase needs.
service and repair
We requested that services ne performed on our car due a transmission leak that was found and possible coolant leak. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We were disappointed in the service departments answering service but the service itself was amazing.
John miller was a great salesman. I don't usually buy from dealers . most time I just have the credit union do the work. JLS group have some of the most helpful sales persons i have seen. My next car will be a JLS car.

I brought my Chevrolet Spark in for an oil change and tire rotation. The service consultant was a really nice guy and kept me informed of the progress of the work. He also advised me of the recall on the hood latch which was previously done but not entered into the system from another dealer. The coffee, donuts and television in the customer waiting lounge was very much appreciated. My only critique is I was advised my wait would be an hour but it took about an hour and a half. Considering that I had an appointment made from the previous week, I would have appreciated more expediency.
The Service Advisor was very polite listen well to what I had to say and made sure I was out in a timely manner.

When I first called the dealership I spoke with Vince. He was very cheerful and pleasant to speak with on the telephone. Vince made me feel like we have been knowing each other for a long time. As he explained what I needed to bring to the dealership I explained my situation, he politely instructed me on how I would have to wait until I went back to work due to the fact that I was out on disability. In took me 3 months to heal and return back to work , Vince still called me and kept in contact with me during my time off from work. I just bought my third car from John L Sullivan, I have to say that I had the A team in sales (Octavio, Eric, and Ron). I normally read reviews and think the business wrote them BUT i had the best experience at John L. Sullivan mainly because of Abel. Lack of confidence
My customer service rep, Bill Dhanis was excellent. He kept me informed and was very helpful. However the day after I got my car back I noticed greasy hand prints on the inside of the car which I was able to clean off. Perhaps part of the reason is that I have lost confidence in the GM brand.
Only issue I had was that the part that was needed for my repair wasn't in stock and needed to be shipped from Reno; causing them to need to keep my truck a few more days.

Recall and Oil Change
I am disappointed because the whole reason why I brought my car in was to take advantage of the coupon sent to me for an oil change. I tried to give the receiving person the coupon and they told me to hold on to it. I forgot to give it to the next two people I interacted with so I called later and asked if I could have the charges adjusted and the response was "no".
I initially went to John L. Sullivan because I had purchased a vehicle a few years ago that I was not satisfied with due to accident information on the car not being disclosed to me at the time of purchase. The vehicle ended up having frame damage, and honestly after finding that out I did not feel safe in the vehicle anymore (especially since we are expecting our first child). I called the dealership after finding out that information and Jim was very understanding and more than willing to make things right for our situation. We were introduced to Jessey who would be taking on the task of finding us the SUV we were looking for at a payment we could afford. Jessey worked endlessly for days trying to find us the perfect vehicle with everything we wanted at an affordable payment. You could tell he took an interest in our situation and genuinely wanted to make our experience with John L. Sullivan a memorable one and turn it from a negative to a positive. He was willing to go above and beyond to satisfy our needs. We were not willing to settle and neither was he. He gave us his best opinions and advice even we were torn between multiple vehicles. My husband and I couldn't have been more happy with the customer service and experience we received while working with Jessey. So glad we decided to go back there and speak with someone about the horrible first experience we encountered years ago. Will definitely be back in the future when we are ready for another vehicle. Felt like we were "family". Everyone was candidly friendly while doing their job. None of this took away from their expertise at their respective jobs. Greeters, advisers, shuttle drivers, cashiers, etc...
Car Buying Is Always a Miserable Experience
Overall the process was good and better than most car buying experiences we've had. That being said, it's still buying a car and buying a car basically sucks.
Great and fast service
Although I did not have an appointment for an oil change on my vehicle I was able to be out of your facility inside of an hour. That was accomplished with a car wash, which I think is fantastic. Speedy and great service all in one. Kudos to your service department.

2015 Tahoe build
Some mistakes were made on my order. Difficult to assign blame. Sales man Fred Walker and the rest of the Sullivan team were excellent. Very happy overall. Better experience here than with Acura and Inifiniti. Waiting for my recovery hooks and Cilijet application.
Mr. Dyson was amazing with his knowledge of the car I was looking at. Mr. Dyson was honest with me from the start. Mr. Dyson is very easy to talk too and is very calm to be around. Mr. Dyson is a no pressure kind of guy who is totally looking out for his customers. Mr. Dyson is amazing in his customer relations and goes above and beyond his job especially when it comes to finding the right and affordable car for his customers! adviser service great
The advisor staff was excellant. When it came time to checkout there was a problem. I was told all that was left to do was wash the vehicle so i turned the rental. more than an hour later I was still waiting in the the customer lounge thinking somebody would call my name when they were done.(Didn't Happen)

Dyson was completely honest with me from the jump. He told me, it dont know if we can make that happen but ill sure try.. AND HE DID! I left with the car I wanted, and the price that worked for me. He kept the car buying experience fun, no hassle, and positive. He is a funny guy to work with, warm hearted, and just an overall GREAT sales advisor. Wonderful experience with everyone
Had a wonderful experience. Warren Brister was very patient and happy to help. Paul Broucher was also very helpful in finding the perfect vehicle. Everyone, from sales to finance, was friendly and helpful. I would recommend this dealership and Warren to anyone.
I came in for an oil change and the Service writer took the order. He said it would take about 2 hours. After about an hour and half he came to waiting room and reviewed the checklist. It took about another half hour for the car wash. When I paid the cashier I did not receive the checklist.

The dealership is awesome at taking care of customers. The only problem I can complain about is the fact that we have taken our 2013 Malibu to the dealership multiple times to fix the air vents in the center and they have been replaced 4 times but are still doing the same thing. They do not stay open they close on their own when air is on.

It was for a factory recall. I waiting for the car and it took about half as long as they estimated.
I was on my lunch break, so I had limited time. I was told to make an appointment (which I did), which would cut my wait time in half. I don't mind waiting, but needed to get back to work. I was there for about an hour and 45 minutes (didn't wash vehicle to expedite), and was told it would take about 45 minutes. I was also told that I could be taken back to work, but couldn't have a ride back to get the vehicle (I'm about 3 miles away, figure to walk next time). I don't blame the workers at all (very courteous, working fast/hard), but I do think the system can be improved from an overall company perspective (considering time). When I purchased the vehicle I was concerned that the maintenance was included, and anticipated the lengthy wait (hopefully it gets better). The waiting room chairs are pretty dirty/gross as well, and could be cleaned. My only issue is that I'm in/out Jiffy lube (or similar repair shop) in minutes. However, if I know it will take longer I simply go after work or on the weekend. My only concern with the dealer maintenance is that it takes a very long time, and hard to plan around an already busy work schedule.
I went in with just a hope to get helped out with a loan, and i came home with a new car i was very happy and thankful john L Sullivan was able to help me and not also me but to my family they were very friendly they were so thoughtful to help me get a car i would defenitley reccomend them.

New car purchase
Was very un happy with the complete oversight of obtaining a Green Sticker by JL Sullivan. Apperantly the car was a dealer trade, which was over looked when processing the Green Sticker in Advance of the sale! Complete oversight by JL Chevy caused us unnesscessary stress and legwork by us to process the sticker request! The state has gone through 13k + additional stickers in less than 90 days! We did fact get one - but should have never been told it would be no problem and that the dealer had it covered! The HOV sticker was 1 of 2 reasons we purchased our Volt! We love our new car but - never should've had to sweat out the details... Mike Zancanella

Great service - Salesmen were helpful but not push
I was kept informed on my vehicle and while waiting I was looking at your new vehicles when a salesman asked if we were looking to buy, I explained I was just waiting for my vehicle. He gave me his card and said if I had any questions or even if I wanted him to check on the status of my vehicle he'd be happy to do it. I was impressed by this.
Mark Thames is a wonderful salesman GREAT at what he does no pressure and just all around a pleasure as a person and salesman very knowledgeable about the vehicles.
Only thing I can complain about was my Chevy ss was there for an apt by 8am and it was for it's first service and a small dent repair, once I got th e car back it was never washed and had hand prints all over inside and out.I have had nothing but curtious employes every time I've been at that dealership, just wish my car looked good leaving.
