I purchased a used Honda CRV yesterday from John Eagle and was very pleased with my customer service experience. David Rivera was attentive and very easy to work with. I was welcomed by several people and the financing manager introduced himself within the first 5 minutes of my visit. The whole process was painless. I have been saving for a new car since my daughter joined the Navy. I am a single mom and have worked very hard for what I have. John Eagle made me comfortable and I proud to spend my hard earned money. I am a customer for life now! Thank you for your courtesy and awesome customer service!!!

My husband and I accompanied my mother to John Eagle Honda on the 4th of July as she purchased a new Honda. Our experience included interactions with employees that provided adequate services as well as markedly poor service. Upon discussion for the trade in value of our car, the salesman, Glen, was not respectful towards any questions we had. When my husband asked for a print out of more information regarding why we received the trade in value, he respond that he would baby him and provide the information. It is unacceptable to use this language and baby towards veterans on any day but especially on a holiday such as the 4th of July. If you value people who respect the military, do not give your business to Glen at John Eagle. However, at the end of our visit Jerome, who works in financing, was very personable, kind, and able to explain answers to every question asked. However, our overall experience from here was clouded with disrespect and we will not buy any cars from this dealership.

Let me tell you about my experience at John Eagle Honda, first I saw a car I had been looking for my wife for weeks had exactly what I was looking for. So I emailed one of the salesman (Deepak) and they had the car and was told come check it out. I thought great ill head over give it a test drive and see if it is a good car. I drive over there late after work and am told I am not allowed to test drive since it has a recall and cannot be driven off the lot it can only be turned on and sat in. Well why would I buy a car I cant even drive especially since I was hearing some engine issues already. I was told they just got the car that day and have not been able to service it but when it is delivered it will be fully serviced and wont have any engine issues. I go inside to work on negotiations not realizing I would have to maintain full coverage due to going through the bank I told them I would take a night to consider all the costs and options and may go with a cheaper car I can afford without the bank. I was told that with buying a car with them as part of the cost they provide collision coverage so if I was ever in a wreck I could get my car fixed through them after a night of thinking I make the decision to buy it and take a chance. I was told the car would not be delivered until the recall was fixed and would be provided a car until then and the check I gave them wouldnt be cashed until delivery. A week after telling me that I get a call from Tarek saying well our accountant told me we have to cash the check now even though you dont have your car yet. Well 2 rental cars, the first of which had to be turned in 1 week later and was given 2 hour notice and 2.5 months later I finally get the car in my possession. A day after I picked up the car I am told I need to go back to the office and sign something else, come to find out it was to post date the paperwork I had already signed to when it was delivered instead of when I actually bought the car. Now lets fast forward a bit first off 1 month or so goes by and the air conditioning is already acting up its blowing hot air and cold air alternating when the AC is on then I get hit by someone the insurance is still dragging their feet so I decide hey I have collision coverage through the dealership let me go that route. I email my salesman and he says yeah youre covered but why doesnt your insurance cover it to which I explained remember I said I didnt want to pay the extra for full coverage. Well suddenly all communication from their end stops. I go take a look at the part of the paperwork including the coverage and see that if you change coverage when from when you purchase the car that coverage is no longer valid. Now you could chalk this up to not reading everything and normally would be right except when they had me sign that part it was on a tablet that only had the signature line and nothing to read until it was printed out. When I confronted them about this I was told what I was saying was in bad taste and I wasnt being a good Christian. I would not recommend buying anything from here.

This is my second van that I've purchased from JEH, 3rd total. The dealership is conveniently located to my house but since they have done away with the express service, there seems to be no sense of urgency at all in the service department. I've had multiple bad experiences and not sure that I will purchase another Honda because of this. There are plenty of dealerships to choose from in the area and since good service is important to me, I think I'll have to go shopping for another.

I stopped by John Eagle Honda today thinking I could run in and get a part repaired. It took much longer than I anticipated. Will waiting I was talking about customer service and how i felt this experience was lacking. When it was my turn the man behind the counter was helpful but felt another employee was better equipped to handle my issue. He was correct! Not only was this employee able to fix my part quickly he also answered my questions professionally and respectfully. At the end of the interaction not only was i satisfied, i was rewarded for my patients with a complimentary replacement part. Way to rock it out John Eagle Honda!

I went into John Eagle Honda for a used car that I had seen online. It was close to closing time on a Saturday, so I took a test drive and got the information of a salesman. I said I would be back Monday with my family member who would help me finance the car. On Sunday, I got on the DEALERSHIPS website and there was a tool to value your trade, I plug in all the information and it comes out to 3,508-4,280 dollars. I think this is a fair value for the car I have to trade, so I set up an appointment on Monday. I get to the appointment the salesman takes my keys for an inspection on my trade, times goes by he says everything is perfect on my trade except it needs new tires so they offer me 2,000 dollars. I explained that that would not be acceptable considering tires for my car would only cost about 600 dollars. After negotiations, I get them to come up to 3,500 for my trade that is still slightly less than the bottom line price the website tool gave me. The salesman comes back in with a sheet with everything listed out. The price for the car was 200 dollars more than the online offer and there were 600 dollars in "dealer fees". The exact price they were offering was $18,997 plus the $600 in fees I was aware of so around 19,600 to the otherwise online price of $18,997. I wanted them to come down $1,000 off the list price to help the cost of TTL and the unexpected dealer fees. They were unwilling to negotiate the list price at all he keep saying it's priced so aggressively. The car was listed as a "fair deal" on a scale of overpriced to a great deal on the CarGurus website. When we asked how long the car had been on the lot the salesman LIED and said "a couple weeks" that's when I knew I would be taking my business elsewhere. The CARFAX report and the online listing said it had been on the lot for at least 60 days. All I was asking for was $1,000 off of the list price and the bottom end of the trade estimate they provided. But that was considered so "unreasonable" the general manager handed me my keys on my out and basically said, "Hey don't come in here and waste our time". John Eagle Honda is unwilling to negotiate and will offer you a terrible trade in value. I had a terrible experience and would not recommend John Eagle Honda to anyone.

This review is for the service department. My car (bought from John Eagle) was apart of the airbag recall so I took it in to have it checked out and chose to get an oil change while I was at it. When the time came that I needed another oil change, I realized my hood latch was broken. Being the last people to touch my car and seeing as they gave me an entire report of all the things they wanted to over charge me to fix while I was there, I figured surely they noticed they broke the hood latch. I spoke to one service technician who told me that it was not their fault and I could pay $180 to fix it and the conversation was abruptly ended. Now I understand I drive an older car and things happen but the part itself is a $15 part online and has 4 screws holding it in place. Wanting to figure out an option and assess the degree liability that John Eagle's service department had in breaking my hood latch, I asked to speak with a manager, Jesse Hernandez. I called Mr. Hernandez numerous times over the course of several days. I left a voicemail, sat on hold for upwards of half an hour, and left messages with others in his department and received ZERO response. I even went so far as contacting the Service Director who must have trained Mr. Hernandez on how to dodge calls because he too ignored me entirely. Bottom line, don't waste your time at this dealership. If you do buy a car from them, you'll be forced to encounter atrocious customer service if you never need any work done.

I have a new car, but not a Honda. I took my old Honda in to have some maintenance work done. l am giving my Accord to my Brother for his kids. I wanted it to have an oil change, new break pads etc. Tony in the service department is the best, he always takes care of me. He's a New Mexico native, and so am I. Tony the shuttle driver is also the BEST, always gets me to my destination early and on time. He knows where's going and I enjoy visiting with him. I have purchased two vehicles from John Eagle Honda, the first leasing a Honda Element, second purchasing a used Toyota Camry. My experience with the both the new car and used car department were what you'd expect from a dealership - not unpleasant but certainly not something I look forward to. Why do dealerships have to function like Las Vegas, sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. My issue is that when I bought the Camry I did a lot of research, they were offering a seemingly great car at a great price. I pulled and they offered a clean 1 owner carfax. I was super excited that I found a "deal". The car has been great for me, mechnically it has functioned great. This week, though, we decided to sell or trade-in the camry and so we had it appraised. During the appraisal they said "your car has major frame damage and is unsellable".I was completely shocked. I asked how this could be since the dealership assured me it had never been in accident and there was no accident reported on carfax. Sadly, they said - this happens. BUT IT IS ILLEGAL. A dealership has to disclose frame damage. We decided to pull the carfax again 5 years later and this is what it says. In April 2009 there was an accident with major damage. Somehow that accident wasn't reported to carfax until October 2009. I purchased the car in September 2009. I have been driving around in a completely unsafe car. Moral of the story, don't trust a dealer. Don't trust carfax. Inspect. Inspect. Inspect. I wish we had some sort of recourse but short of threatening to sue we've got nothing except our voice and the ability to warn other people.

I had filled out a short form internet request for financing at another dealership, without having investigated my own credit worthiness first, so when I was told after the briefest of phone conversations by them (it was a Saturday, and they were busy) that I would require a co-signer, due to lack of credit? I said I wasn't interested. I was just going to stick with the car I had, or pay cash for a later model used car (partially funded through a loan through my 401K), and give up on the idea of a new car. I decided instead, after reading the reviews for John Eagle, to go ahead and fill out their more detailed, longer form application online and submit it. Since I was supplying much more detail about my financial situation, I thought it likely there would be more of a chance of a new car being an option, and the worst they could tell me was no. I immediately got a call from a helpful and friendly young man, who I truly believe wasn't being disingenuous (ultimately, perhaps, just not as knowledgeable as he could be). I made it crystal clear at the very start, that if they were to say I needed a co-signer, I wouldn't be interested. Long story short, he told me I absolutely had a shot at a new car without a co-signer, and what would be most helpful in my situation is a larger down payment. I informed him I had some extra cash, but I had to purchase a headstone for my son (who I lost some time previously), so wouldn't know how much extra cash I would end up with at the end of that process. I told him I would be in touch by week's end with that amount. I also had/have a trade in. He said that was perfectly fine, and he would touch base with me here and there, which he did...by phone.Several days after my initial contact with this young man though, I get an email (not call), from a gentlemen I didn't know...Benny Franklin, their Internet Director. It was a typical follow up email, and I informed him where I stood. AT THAT POINT, I receive an email saying he had a finance manager review my account, and there was absolutely no way they could finance me without a cosigner...that money down always helps, but it wouldn't in my case. So, after multiple phone calls with the first young man saying a co-signer wasn't required, it turns out I was told this without my account ever having been reviewed? It wasn't even reviewed until many days later, after I was told that a new car WAS within the realm of possibility for me, and I was rather excited about it? I am the nicest person in the world, to my own detriment it would appear, and in the end was just succinctly dismissed out of hand. When I replied that Benny's suggestion wasn't acceptable, and I would just borrow cash through my 401K and buy a later model used car such as a Ford Fiesta (which are pretty affordable), I never heard another word from him. There was NEVER any kind of apology for my valuable time that was wasted, or the fact I was given misinformation at their hands. Also, wouldn't you think it a pretty bold statement to make that "money down always helps, but not in my case"? At that point, they had NO IDEA how much cash I could have come up with. None. Also, there was no offer to sell me a used car, when I said that would be my next option then?The most disappointing aspect of my experience actually? It was the further eroding of my once held belief that people are basically good and kind and sincere. It was one more time I went into a situation being completely open and honest, believing I would be dealt with in kind? Only to end up feeling like something of a fool for having done so.

When I purchased my certified used car at John Eagle Honda, my salesman told me he would try to track down the second key for my car. I called the next week, left a message for Mr Gutherie. I called back later that day, I was told he could not track down the key. I wished he had called me with the information. I talked to the sales manager, he told me that they could make a new key. Mr Gutherie called back the next day, he said no one informed him about the problem. He was told that I had already taken care of the key problem. He did not follow up on this problem. I was glad that they called me to tell me my plates are in. Thank you for taking care of that.

Miguel & Kelly in finance were the only good part of my experience. The lot has cars with lots of dents, dings and scratched that they don't even bother to fix. There is a 2012 or so Honda Civic on the lot with body damage with rust. That's not the way to present a vehicle used or not especially at a Honda dealer. I found that the vehicle was not ready when promised. These cars are not 100% Fully Reconditioned as advertised on there website if they were they wouldn't have rust on the body of the vehicle. The "4 hour detail process" is not what I would consider a detail at all. My car has been cleaned up better at a $5 wash. Not a professional operation. The service promised was not delivered. Very disappointed in this dealership and will not be returning and if you are looking for a new or used Honda don't stop here.

The finance manager, Rick Carrasco, was very slick, practiced and deceptive. He filled in the numbers on the contract in such a way that we couldn't even tell what we paid for the car. There is no way that I could ever recommend this dealership. Because of my complaint technique, the business manager Kelly Moody and the managing partner John Ingram facilitated the reimbursement of $7,194.00 in unrequested warrantees and charges. Even though the funds were deducted from my principle after 48 days of frustration and complaining, I can't bring myself to recommend this dealership to even my worst enemy, if I had one. Disclaimer: this was over the Christmas holidays, so the time frame of the funds returned is skewed, but the length of frustration isn't.

THE WORST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE EVER!!! We went to look at a specific car and we liked it. We settled on a price and then they took us to finance where we couldnt settle on an interest rate. They wanted me to sign paperwork at 11.9 %. Just last year I bought one at .9 %. I have paid on time, so I know my credit is still good. So why would I now sign for a rate 11% higher??? So I said why dont you work on it and call me on Monday if you can find a better finance rate. Okay so far so good but then w have to walk back across the street to the used car lot to get in our car and I decided to let the sales man Drew -who was very nice know that we would not be taking the car home tonight. This is where the bottom drops out! The used car manager John lost it on me. He got hysterical. Then he actually said to me You have taken up 6 hours of Drews time and now you are leaving without the car. Drew wont be able to feed his family tonight! Well, we had only been there 2.5 hours and half of that time was in finance. I offered to get pizza for Drew to take home to his family and he assured me that he would be fine. So I left WELL THE SALES MANAGER FOLLOWED ME OUT TO MY CAR SCREAMING AT ME. MY ADVICE? STAY FAR AWAY FROM JOHN EAGLE HONDA!!!! If I could give them less than one star I would!! We eventually bought from Southwest Ford in Greenville, I highly recommend them!

Scheduled a 430PM appointment online so I could get a recall repair done on my Civic. Left work a little early so I could get there right at 430. I sit in the service garage for about 5 minutes until someone acknowledges I'm there, there were no other customers waiting and just 1 car getting ready to leave. Guy asks what I'm there for, I hand him my appointment printout, he goes to the office to check it out. He comes back and says it is too late, because the technicians are going home at 5pm. Service hours say open til 7pm, I guess that is at their convenience. Needless to say, I will never try this place again and will drive further to get service done at another Honda dealer. 0/5 stars

I was looking for a used car for my son and contacted this dealer about a specific vehicle we were interested in checking out. I received a prompt follow-up from the dealership and was set up for an appointment with Matt Volpi to see the car. Because Matt was still with another customer when we arrived, the Sales Manager and another sales person showed us the car and got us a set of keys so we could test drive it. When we returned to the dealership, Matt met with us and answered our questions about the car. He also showed us the Carfax report and explained what a couple of the entries were on the report to our satisfaction. The car was very clean and seemed to have been well maintained. We were able to negotiate a reasonable price on the car very quickly and without much back and forth. Once we reached a deal, the F&I guy met with us to finalize everything in a very prompt manner. This was a very professionally handled transaction and I was most impressed with the customer service we received from Matt and the other people who helped with the sale.

We recently purchased a used Honda Accord from this dealership, specifically from salesman Matt Volpi. We received what has to be the very best customer service we have ever had in a car dealership, and we've been driving a LOT of years now. It was such a relief to NOT be greeted with the annoying and manipulative "car sales talk" that one usually gets at a dealership. Matt was sincere and helpful without being pushy, and he helped us get the car we really wanted despite our relatively poor credit (thank you medical bills). Though we were a "low rent" customer, buying not a nice new car but a smaller older used vehicle, he never was impatient with us or acted like he felt "stuck" with us. That is an experience we've had at other dealerships. I intend to buy our next 20 cars from this dealership. Strongly recommend you ask for Matt Volpi.

On a scale of 10 best and 1 worst I rate my experience with your dealership as a 10. Bill Cheek was outstanding; professional, courteous, and knows the product thoroughly. He deserves a pay raise and a promotion (and tell him I said so)! It was also a pleasure to meet you. I really liked how you guys were "straight up" with your USAA pricing, with no games that I saw from some other dealers. Overall a great experience and my wife is loving the CRV.

While I understand your commission may have been limited with my transaction, your attention to detail and my family's needs was spot on. The time you took, even though it was not totally necessary to familiarize me with an already familiar model speaks volumes to your character and I intend to speak of you in this regard for some time. This purchase was not supposed to be emotional going into it, but that was changed by the time I drove out.

My interaction with John Eagle Honda exceeded my expectations. When I walked on the lot, I was quickly approached by Danny Saber. He introduced himself and asked what I was looking for in a car. I was very specific in what I wanted and needed and I never felt pressured about looking into a car that was not for me. My best friend came with me because he knows a little more about cars than I do. While Danny did tell my friend about the more technical aspects of the car, he made sure to include me in every aspect of the conversation...something I didn't experience with a previous dealer when I purchased my first car over ten years ago.

I've been a John Eagle customer for many years now, and I have always been pleased with its customer service in the service department. I recently had occasion to buy a new car, and I first made contact with salesman Bill Cheek through the internet. We set up an appointment for a Saturday morning test drive of the Accord I wanted, and he was a pleasure to work with. He was knowledgeable about the car's features and took me on a good test drive. The dealership didn't have the color I wanted, and he got it for me within a couple of days. The price I paid was not as good as I was hoping for, but it was about what I expected; I don't believe there is much negotiating room on the Accord. Once the dealership had the car, the purchase took less than an hour. All in all, I was quite satisfied with the experience, and I will still be a John Eagle customer in the future.

This dealership deserves a 10 Star Rating!!! Obviously, you are in the market for a car! Are you dreading a repeat of a negative experience? I invite you to visit John Eagle Honda of Dallas. In the past 45 years, we've purchased eight (8) new vehicles. I must say our most recent purchase, a Touring Pilot at John Eagle Honda of Dallas was by far the greatest experience ever. The only thing the past dealerships had in common was they had vehicles to sell. John Eagle Honda is like no other car dealership when it comes to staff. We dealt with Craig Young online, a man of integrity, with great communication skills; no hidden agendas, making a verbal deal prior to visiting the dealership; no high pressure and no haggling. We walked into the dealership and immediately noticed something different, we felt at home; a relaxed atmosphere, with genuine friendly folks. Dealing with Craig was like buying a car from our brother. As we filled out the necessary paperwork and enjoyed several bottles of ice cold water, we were introduced to Doc Watson, another warm friendly gentleman. Then there was Kelly Moody, the Business Manager who explained finance options available to us, again warm, genuine, factual, and no pressure of any kind. As we sat in Kelly's office, we had the pleasure of meeting the General Manager (Managing Partner) Mr. John Ingram. Wow, immediately we knew why this dealership was different. From the moment Mr. Ingram entered the room, we could feel the pride he had in his product and for his people with such a straight forward, honest countenance. We truly connected with these folks, no pressure and truly felt like family. We both, throughout our time there, independently thought "I can't believe this is happening at a car dealership!" On the way home that evening, approximately an hour away, my husband said, "Wow, that makes you want to go buy another car, soon!" Needless to say, when we are in the market for our next vehicle, our first stop will be John Eagle Honda of Dallas, Texas.

We recently purchased a car from John Eagle and had a great experience. The salesman was incredibly knowledgeable and he gave us an honest evaluation of the car we were looking at. The purchasing process was very easy and we felt like they weren't trying to trick us or anything like that. The only downside was how long it took to get through everything, but considering the service and the price we got for the car, it was worth the wait. I would absolutely recommend this place if you are in the market for a car!

Beware. As a result of their negligence, my car overheated and had to be towed. Took it to people i've worked with for years. They immediately noticed the radiator cap had been left off from the dealership the day before. John Eagle Honda did not take responsibility for their mistake. Further, they tried to make it somehow my fault. Horrible way to treat a customer (and Honda owner). I'm in the market for a new Honda and definitely won't buy there as a result

Do not buy a used car from this dealership. I bought a used car that had zero accidents on the history, I even took it to an inspection shop. I think they all have their pockets lined up in these shops or something.After I bought the vehicle, I noticed a slight jutting out of the front of the car.I looked closely and saw that the car had hit something in the lower bumper and that the dealership craftily used a plastic cover to hide this damage. I was never told about this.

Your staff was very helpful in listening to my every concern and desire in finding the right used car for my needs. They made sure the cars I was shown met the criteria I gave them. Every Honda van I was shown just happened to be sold while I was sitting in the car. I'm so happy and proud to say that I am a new owner of a red 2 door Honda civic. I was given Hal Millers name by a work referral he works at another dealership and does a lot of business with my father. I'll start of by telling you this car buying has been a long and tough battle between my father and I. We were not agreeing on anything and I had been to I think every dealership in Dallas from Volvo to Toyota!! What I wanted was a Honda accord coup. The problem was my father was buying the car. When I went to see Hal about the car with my father, I can't tell you great Hal was. I ended up getting a civic. my father and I were so impressed with the customer service. My father even mentioned that he has never had a dealership call after the purchase was made to check on how the car was. And go to such a great effort to make sure we were happy. Hal, Doc and Kelley made our purchase, enjoyable, fast, and delightful.

Had to get the honda accord serviced for a recall on the ignition switch. Booked an appt. on-line and Took it in the next morning. EVEN THOUGH I was two hours late for my appointment time I'd booked, they greeted me like a V.I.P. and had lunch for free while I waited in their clean lounge but not for very long. The turnaround time was surprisingly very short. Left satisfied with the repair and new Free of charge parts installed correctly by a tech at a dealer which is capable, friendly and inviting. I'll definitely give them my business in the future and feel confident recommending this dealership's service department to anyone!

I have always gone to this dealership because they take great care of me. On this visit however, the gentleman that usually handles my servics was not there and I was fine with working with someone new. My service was mediocre at best. Not the great treatment I'm used to. My issue: they didn't inform me of the condition of my vehicle (brakes) until the check-up and oil change was complete and my car was sitting there ready to go. Then asked if I wanted to stay longer to have the additional services completed. All while forgetting to complete a state inspection and charging me for a tire rotation. NTB doesn't charge for a tire rotation with an oil change. Not sure if I will be coming back to the dealership unless they can offer me some savings over their competitors.

They quote me a drive off price in the email. When I went in, they told me the vehicle they quoted me was sold. Funny thing is I called and check the vehicle availability before I drove to the dealer. When I was in the dealer, they didn't inform me the vehicle was sold instead wasted my time to test drive another vehicle. Not until we ready to sit down and ready to buy the vehicle, they revealed the vehicle was sold. Anyway to me, it's very dishonest. Make me think twice buying from this dealer.

My experience leasing a Civic for two years was, in fact, wonderful. The sales persons did their best to reach convenient deals, and I enjoyed my "rally-red Honda" all along. (Of course, having excellent credit history helped too with fortifying good communication). While at some point I had a concern regarding the prior down-payment, the finance manager Kelly Moody proved an exceptionally helpful and wise interlocutor who mitigated all issues in the most professional manner; he offered straightforward business advice in a frank manner that I appreciated a lot (since I'm always a bit on the watch in marketing environments). This office has provided continuous assistance, offers, and updates thus far unlike other dealerships I've ever bought from. I look forward to upcoming Honda models, will certainly use their services again.

Although at my most recent visit I noticed some new faces in the service dept., I was fortunate enough to be able to work with Mike again. He has always been prompt and respectful with the services required for my vehicle. It appears he gets along well with the technicians which carrys over to his customers. Had a very positive experience with Sales (Lawrence Franklin and Benny Franklin) and Finance (Kirk Cooley). I've bought only Nissans for 19 years, but decided to give Honda a try. We had an excellent experience at this dealership, honestly the BEST experience I've ever had! They are extremely competitively priced, actually probably the lowest in the area. The customer service was excellent, they new every detail about each car and they did not try to "sell" you anything which made the experience enjoyable and stress-free. I bought a new car from this dealership a month ago. I find it VERY dishonest that they presented me a price that has monthly payments which included an extended warranty WITHOUT INCLUDING THIS AMOUNT in ANY part of the offer. If I didn't know what my monthly payment should have been, I would have signed off on that offer. Fortunately for me, I had a blank check that had an "TRUTH IN LENDING" section which clearly indicated the loan amount, interest and monthly payment.I find this very shady.The worst was the HARD SELL of finance on the bumber-to-bumper coverage. I don't think they would have let me out of that dealership without buying that. In the end, I did buy it...BUT THEY DIDN'T GIVE ME ANY BROCHURE for that $1300 hard sell. NOTHING...nothing on my supposed one-page contract on scheduled maintenance regarding what kind of failure...for how long...for how many. HOw many dings...when to report. WHAT is up with that?I looked over my mail and there was no correspondence regarding what I bought for $1300. I'm overall VERY disappointed with this dealership, I could have walked away if it were not for already waiting for almost 2 hours in their waiting room and wasting my whole Saturday.Perhaps I was expecting too much because their supposed good rating on this site..but they were clearly just the best of the worst dealers in the metroplex.

The sales process at this dealership was poor. I was paying in cash (writing a check) but still had to wait over two hours for all of the "paperwork" to be accomplished. Unacceptable. I was also given a "We-Owe" for the navigation manual and the "CR-V" emblem that was missing off of the liftgate. This was on Feb 21, 2011. After multiple phone calls to the dealership over the course of 8 weeks, I still had not received the owed items. Finally, after many failed assurances that it would be "taken care of", I called and asked to speak to the manager, Bill Hunt, and was assured that the items would be going out within 2-3 days. This was on April 12. Finally, on April 19, after not receiving the items, I called and asked to speak to Bill. I had been calling every weekday since the 12th of April to check up on the status of the shipment with Bill. When I spoke to Bill on the 19th, he seemed surprised to hear from me. It turns out that someone in the pre-owned department had been answering the phone as Bill Hunt and led me to believe that I was speaking to him and that he was handling it. It turns out that was not the case. THE PEOPLE AT THIS DEALERSHIP ARE LIARS. If they cannot be trusted with a simple task like sending a paying customer something he is owed at the time of sale, they absolutely cannot be trusted when it comes to doing any type of business with them. THERE PEOPLE ARE NOT WORTH DOING BUSINESS WITH AND ARE NOT TO BE TRUSTED. AVOID JOHN EAGLE HONDA.

John Eagle and Ross Iver are the Greatest! Over the past 12 years, our family has driven Hondas. We have used 3 different dealerships, but John Eagle stands out so far ahead of the others because of the friendly, knowlegeable and exceptional customer service. The overall Experience was great! While in Dallas, my window fell down into the door. Lucky for us John Eagle was the closest dealership to us. We went in for the repair and walked out with a '11 Honda Accord with navigation. ROSS IVER took care of us. His expertise, knowledge of cars, and the excellent customer service he provided helped us to make the decision to purchase. Being technology challenged, I was ready to take a hammer to my navigations system before I was able to come back for my "class". Ross patiently went over every aspect of my car step by step and even followed up to check on me as I shopped in Dallas. After his "class" I feel confident to correctly use my navigation system as well as other great features of the 'll Honda Accord. We were approaching our 60,000 maintenance and the technician we were speaking to recommended making all the necessary repairs. The technician was very knowledgeable and helped us make an informed decision. Also, since we had originally came in for an oil change, he offered us additional discounts on the remaining work to be done. I just wish the wait time would have been better communicated since we lived only a few miles from the dealership and would have rather been called to pick it up instead of waiting in the lobby.

Our transmission failure on a 2002 Accord 4cyl is not uncommon (if you Google it) but Honda's 'official' support of our particular car did not apply, despite many problems documented. Nonetheless, when our transmission failed at 51K miles, despite the car being 9 years old, I asked Mr. Alexander to hit Honda for some support based on our research indicating problems with the transmission. Tony came through and we got a new transmission at a substantial discount. I am satisfied. Making it easier was that we DID have all the service records for the car showing transmission issues beginning near the end of the official warranty. All of these were done at Honda dealerships. The records also showed that we had missed a fluid change (due to time, not mileage.) Oops, but I am glad that Honda stepped up and did not beat us up over it.Mr. Alexander also pointed out that we had missed the timing belt service. It too has a time limit (8 years) regardless of mileage. Right again, so we did that, too. (When the timing belt on a Honda breaks, its adios engine). Finally, I mentioned to Tony that the cruise control was inop and that turned out to be a simple (cheap) adjustment.I don't know if John Eagle service is more or less expensive than other comparable outfits, and I don't care. When my daughter called from some parking lot in North Dallas with a dead car, I called John Eagle, talked to Tony, told him the situation and drove over to pick her up. He coordinated the tow and everything else to perfection. When we picked up the car, she thought the seat was soiled from the service. Tony got it cleaned up pronto.It sucks to know that Hondas can have serious mechanical issues. Its worse to find that MINE quit but was not on one of the 'bad' lists. Its even worse that I, yes I missed some scheduled services. Its even more worse toting up the undergraduate, medical school and residency expenses coming down our way. The Accord MUST make the trip. Car expenses suck but with the very competent Tony Alexander on our side, I think we'll make it.

As a full time student at Texas Woman's University College of Nursing Parkland/Dallas campus, finances can be tricky in your senior year of clinical sections and lectures. My fellow classmates and I invest over 80+ hours a week which makes having a side job nearly impossible. Needless to say, when it comes to matters with dealing with your car. It can be expensive. This morning I needed an inspection sticker and few other items to be taken cared off on my vehicle. I was greeted promptly by Mr. Jennings and we worked out a plan for getting my car inspected. As with any inspection, the technicians realized I needed new tires. Mr. Jennings apprised me of all the things that my car needed to have done in order to pass inspection. He cut me a deal with some extra items and ensured that he was keeping the price down to fit my "poor student" budget. He came back with some numbers that were in my favor but my car was needing to be in the shop longer. Fortunately, I had my books, laptop, and INTERNET to surf and study. Plus, John Eagle provides some finger foods to keep this brain working! The time flew by and in a couple of hours Mr. Jennings showed up to tell me that my car was ready. I was surprised. It seemed that he took 2 hours off the time stated. This type of service and amenities is what I look for. Forever a John Eagle customer with individuals like Mr. Jennings working there!

I came in for a standard oil change to the Quick Service side of the dealership and was pleasantly surprised at the professionalism, courtesy, and speed of Lamont and this side of the dealership. I was informed that I was due for a 60,000 mile check up and told what it would involve. I was given an initial quote for the services while Lamont looked up my history. He determined that I had already had many of the services done already that were part of my check-up. I ended up only needing 2 out of 5 of the services. My total cost was WAY lower than quoted and it only took 45 minutes to complete everything, which was WAY faster than quoted at 1 1/4 hours. Lamont was also able to offer me a discount on my oil change. I have dealt in the past with the other side of the dealership and always come away paying way more and waiting way longer and dealing with more issues. The Quick Service side was a real blessing and I was thankful for the ease, convenience, and price.

I came into this shop to get an oil change several months ago and Lamont Jennings was the person that helped me. What stuck out about Lamont was his smile and his friendliness but later his knowledge of the car and what I needed was an added plus. Now when I come in the shop, I look for Lamont and there he is with his smile and ready to help. Normally when an person tells me I need something else other than what I can in for, I question in my mind... "do I need this", but never with Lamont. He explains what I need and why. The customer service we received at John Eagle of Dallas was EXCELLENT. The entire staff made us feel welcomed. Jack Averitt was exceptional in finding the very best deal for us. He was genuinely concerned that we were happy with our quote and purchase. He was very thorough and knew everything about the CRV and other models we had questions about. My husband and I are always leary of the car buying experience -- we've never really had a good one and find car salespeople/dealerships to be pushy and over the top. So, before we went, my husband called John Eagle and asked to be paired with a low pressure sales person who was knowledgeable, but understood that we were not planning to buy a car that day. We walked in and met with Ross Iver and immediately felt comfortable. He was extrememly knowledgeable about the 2011 Honda Odyssey and was willing to spend as much time with us as we needed. In fact, we felt so comfortable, we decided to take the jump that day! Everyone that we came in contact with at John Eagle was extremely friendly and helpful and worked hard to make our car buying experience as painless as possible. Car shopping is not a task I necessarily enjoy. I ended up going to this dealership because of an internet bid provided through my car insurance's car buyer program. I visited another dealership that did not have the car I was interested in, and communicated with many others. John Eagle Honda of Dallas contacted me to tell me that they had a car matching my request being delivered in February. Although it was not the color I wanted, it was proving very difficult to find a manual transmission and color was of less importance. I visited the dealership to talk prices and terms, everything was very clear and we were able to transact everything I needed over my lunch period. I made a down payment over the phone after consulting one more time with another dealership. Picked up the car yesterday and I love it. Interactions with the salesman were very low key and pleasant. Interactions with the business manager were also clear and low key, no hidden agendas. The General Manager stopped by to introduce himself and thank me on both occasions. My husband and I viewed our car online Saturday, Jan 29th, 2011, and went to the dealership that very same day. To our surprise, the car was still available, and had only been on the lot for 3 days! It was a great price for the mileage that was on the Accord. I called ahead of time, and spoke to a gentleman, by the name of Bradley White, and from that first conversation, he was nice, courteous, and understanding to our needs, and budget. Needless to say, we we arrived there, he was not only ready for us, he was eager to answer all of our questions, and to take the test drive.
