I haven't bought a new car in 16 years, was mildly apprehensive.. I had been to several Jeep Dealers and was very impressed by Jim Shorkey and Jamie Sacramento. I instantly felt comfortable with everyone. It was a nice atmosphere. I drove 40 minutes from my house to buy a jeep from them due to the outstanding value, the lifetime warranty, and their willingness to retrieve my jeep from another dealer to their site. (Please note... I do have closer Jeep dealers by my house). Jamie made the process very painless. I love my Jeep. I would and have recommended Jamie to others who are needing a winter vehicle. Was told I was approved for a loan then got the run around a few days didn't wanna deal so went somewhere else and guess what wow I got a car approved and drive in home in than 3 hrs big difference snorkey dealership plays games with you, why do you think they call it no games price you play their game not yours trust me go somewhere else and buy your better in getting a good price and treated better

Looked at a Challenger had 29,000 miles drove the car had 3,500 miles on the net it had 2,900 miles made me wonder had tons of people try to sell a car but they couldnt make a very good deal and the last transaction I had before giving up was a smart comment of giving me a last shot lol wow I had my stuff together just didn't wanna get rid of Challenger,rather have it sit on the lot all winter long

Oct 6th we set out on a 5000 mile round trip and not an hour and a half into our travel our truck began to have issues and was going into limp mode. After a couple hours trying to find a dealer in the area to help us out Jim Shorkey answered the call. We pulled in and unhooked our trailer and withing ten minutes the truck was on the lift. A couple hours later we were on our way again thanks to the team of men working on it. When others said they couldn't help, Jim Shorkey's team stepped up to the plate and we're grateful to have found them! Found the vehicle I was looking for, Jeep Wrangler Sport with standard transmission. Everybody else has automatics. The negotiation process was a bit tedious but persistence pays off. I got what I wanted in a vehicle for slightly more that I budgeted but still at a reasonable price.

Today I took my 2016 dodge ram back for repair because the manual key wouldn't open the door . About five hours later I was called and told that it was done and ready for pick up . So I return to the dealership I was given the keys and had to walk to find my truck , I found it wedged into a hillside as in dirt physically moved by my truck as it was carelessly driven into the hillside. So I want to check if the key would work and of course it did not . So they had my truck for five hours and didn't fix the problem lied to me and told me they did and then carelessly threw it aside. I called the next morning about it and was told that they did updates and usually that fixes the problem, I re-iterated that it was a mechanical problem something was physically broken and I was assured that usually an update fixes this problem... so I drove to the dealership as I couldn't get a straight answer where I waited while they took the door apart and told me as suspected that it would need a new mechanism that they had to order. If they had listened to me, taken the panel off in the first place this could have taken one day and a half hour instead of 2 wasted days.

Craig straight up lied to my fiancee and me during the purchase of our vehicle in July. Not only did he lie, but the finance department neglected to send my paperwork causing me not to have a secured loan for almost 30 days after the initial purchase. I almost had a repo order put out on the vehicle before I could even make the first payment. This is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to dealing with this dealership. All attempts to work with the dealership were met with resistance or them flat out ignoring me. I called the finance department for a week straight trying to get Kristie on the phone, but I could never get a call back. They are quick to call when they need something from you, like when they screw up your sales paperwork and need you to come in and sign again, but as soon as the deal closes, you are dead to them. Promises to "make it right" go unheeded. I was hopeful Sean Rattigan would handle the issue, but it's been well over a month since he personally started dealing with the issue, so it appears my only course of action is to get the State Attorney General involved. Jeep was receptive and sympathetic to the issue, but has no control over dealership disputes. I am very loyal to the Jeep brand, it's just a shame my neighborhood Jeep dealership is such a shame and continues to employ the Matt Kramers, Pete Paynes, and Craig Stephans of the world. My salesman, Jason, was very friendly and I have no complaints with him.

Not a good experience and lied to. Low balled on my trade and then offered 2 used vehicles with more miles then my trade. Left there insulted, with no intention of ever returning, and definitely plan on spreading the word.Typical place that strings you along for hours, and throws a lower xxxxxx deal, every time you ask for your keys. Brings out the xxxxxx manager who sounds like a crook in the first thirty seconds.

We went to the dealership looking for a 2016 Grand Cherokee Limited in Maximum Steel. Unfortunately they did not have everything in stock what I was looking for. Roosevelt took the time to do a custom built for us and 6 weeks later our new car arrived. He took the time with us when it arrived to make sure we understood all the gadgets inside before leaving. They bait people in with fake vehicles fake ads. They told us vehicle was ready and waiting for us only for us to drive 2 hours one way to be told the vehicle was never there. Then we were told by a sales manager that it had been sold at 11pm the previous night. Waste of time and people were pushy, not to mention liars.

This dealer was very unprofessional and just made empty promises. I went here for one specific vehicle, which they failed to mention that this vehicle needed a new transmission (2016 with 18 miles on it), so I wasted my time driving an hour to this dealership. I sat down with a salesman and we discussed what my goals were and decided leasing might be for me. I found another vehicle, changed my insurance (which cost me $138), cleaned my current out and I was ready to leave with my new vehicle. Except a man came out and told me I owed another $7,000 to take it off the lot, and acted like it was $7. So I wasted my entire day at this dealership, had to listen to Manager Craig talk about his personal life and attempt to sell me his book he had written while they detailed the vehicle I was supposed to leave with and didn't even leave with that vehicle. Went for a vehicle that wasn't there, thought I was getting another and left -$138 without a vehicle. Terrible dealership in my opinion.

I have a 2011 Ram 1500 pick-up. I noticed the paint bubbling on the right front fender. I took it to the dealership that I normally deal with on service (Victory) in Delmont. They took one look at my truck and said Chrysler won't do anything about that. I check with one other dealership over the phone and got the same response. One Saturday I was out running errands and passed the Shorkey dealership. I walk into the service department and was immediately greeted by three very pleasant individuals. They told me that the manager Kathleen Strangis was not in but they gave me her contact information. I contacted Kathleen via e-mail and after several time of exchanging information and pictures Kathleen contacted me and informed me that Chrysler would take care of the problem if I paid $100.00 deductible. I said that is great news and I'll gladly pay the deductible. I am happy to say that the work has been completed to my satisfaction. It took only one day for them to perform the repair. I also got an oil change while it was there. I think I found a new dealership to get all of my service done. Thanks again Kathleen.

The vehicle I was was not as discribed. One disruption was "rust free" One was a little rust Actual condition was undercarriage totally rusted, wheel wells had new undercoat applied to try to cover up. Very disappointing since I just drove 200 miles to see it. (Understatement) For a large dealership this car should have been auctioned off

We bought a 2014 Dodge Journey there in a lease a couple years ago . When we bought the vehicle the salesman Mike did a great job and we were pleased with experience . It went all down hill from here though , when we went to take car home there was a huge dent in drivers side door . They fixed this in a few days but then there was overspray everywhere. I took it back up to them to fix but then they had to reorder the sidewall protectors , so I would have to go back up again . Just recently I took my vehicle back up the for recall , passenger window not working , and roof clips coming off up inside lining. It was up there for three whole days and only two items got fixed , and I want even offered a rental car. Last week I spoke to one of the owners who said he would make sure everything was fixed properly and would speak to Chrysler Rep for me about turning car in and wiping my hands from it . Again I get no call back from him or service dept who had to order new roof clips , this dealership and a big let down. Will never do business again .

Looked online. Saw a Durango that I was interested in. Visited dealership and found Durango on lot. Went home and used online chat service. Verified that Durango was available for sale. Setup a test drive appointment. Arrived at designated time. Receptionist knew I was an online customer but, I was treated like I had just came in without an appointment. Took salesperson about 1/2 hour to locate the Durango and bring it to dealership. The Durango was only about 1000 feet at most from the showroom. He was also given trade in info and keys before he went to get the Durango.. Took test drive and waited about another 1/2 hour for numbers to be put together. Did not like the numbers and asked for more money for trade in. Salesman thought that trade price was good and seemed reluctant to try for a better number. Told him that there was no deal and had to ask for my keys back. He finally returned with a manager who wanted to do an another evaluation on the trade before giving me another price. Told him no. Had been there for about 2 hours. Went to another dealer. Bought the same Durango, different color, for $3000.00 less. Was only there about one hour. Also it looked like whoever evaluated my trade, 2012 Dodge Ram, ran it through as much mud covered surfaces that they could find.

Russ Shively, worked with us to give us the best Jeep for our needs and money. We were looking to buy a 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo . The cost was way out of our price range. So, Russ strived to get us the next best Jeep, which was the 2016 Jeep Compass Latitude. We did buy a 3 year lease on the Jeep. Seeing as we don't travel much it was senseless the buy. All the employees at Jim Shorkey Auto Group were very kind to us. We would recommend Jim Shorkey Auto Group to anyone looking to buy or lease a new 2016 Chrysler Dodge Jeep or Ram or used vehicle. Russ also went over all options we ask about + more. As we traded a 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo and most thing were closely the same. Russ Shively was extremely helpful in guiding us through the process of trading in our older car for a newer model. He was very patient and thoroughly answered all of our questions about the vehicle we bought and especially with the financing. We were at the dealership a little longer than expected (four and a half hours), but that was probably our fault as we test drove three different vehicles. This was the second car that we bought at Shorkeys.

I bought a new Jeep Renegade and drove from Pittsburgh to go to this dealership. It was well worth the drive. They had plenty of vehicles with the features I wanted. Cliff was great, and worked hard to get me to a payment I was comfortable with. The only negative I have is that I wish I would have gotten a little more for my trade in. All in all it was a great experience, and I plan to return.

Being a college student and not having much movement in my budget made the car buying process somewhat of a daunting task. Its safe to say that in my search I mingled with many dealerships. Although I did not purchase a vehicle I found Jim Shorkey to easily be the best in my hunt. At other dealerships I visited I felt as if I wasn't respected and was talked down to because of my age. Although I am young I had a fairly good budget and was still treated terribly. I worked with Clifford Foster on a few occasions and he did an outstanding job! I wanted to buy from him so bad that I waited a few weeks until it was clear that they didn't have what I was looking for coming in so unfortunately I had to go to the other less than respectful dealership. It should be noted that he offered many wranglers close to my budget but we all know how the wrangler market goes so it was 100% understandable.I would just like to say that the service provided by Clifford did not go to waste. Shorkey has now earned my trust, recommendation, and business in the future as far as I am concerned. Thank you Clifford for your outstanding service it was very much appreciated.

I recently leased a 2016 Ram 1500 Big Horn from Jim Shorkey and couldn't be happier. Leasing was the right decision for me since I have a work vehicle for my weekly travel. Cliff Foster was my salesperson and a total joy to work with. He took me on two test drives and asked my feelings on each vehicle before suggesting a lease. Made the process easy and painless. My payments came out to less than my then new 2012 and less than another truck from another dealership. I'd recommend to anyone without hesitation.

I came to Shorkey's full of anxiety when my longtime used car was no longer an option to have and I needed to purchase a more reliable vehicle. Craig George was a God send! Not only did I walk out with a brand new jeep but the experience was very enjoyable. From the start he said, " Your getting a new car! Let's make this fun!" From then on, my experience was great. The process took multiple hours and the whole time Craig was excellent. He was very knowledgeable, and answered all my questions and then some. He was very patient and pleasant which made the process that much more enjoyable. My experience with the financing department was also wonderful. For some, the thought of purchasing a car can be very cumbersome. If you fall into this category, I would recommend the folks at Jim Shorkey Auto Group. The entire purchasing process was first class. My salesperson, Jaimie, was very knowledgeable and open to my wants and needs. She did not push me into a vehicle that had more than what was needed. I was still a little hesitant about the sale. The dealership allowed me to take the vehicle home for a number of days for a more real feel test drive. They even gave me a tank of fuel. Moving forward a few days, the purchasing process was simplistic. Trade negotiation went well. Jaimie and the sales manager did their very best to make sure I qualified for the greatest amount of incentives possible. I do not know of many places that do that. There was no pressure for add-on purchases as well. I would definitely be back to Jim Shorkey Auto Group when I am ready for my next purchase. I would encourage to check them out.

What a bunch of crooks!!!!!Drove from Mt Pleasant to Norwin to Jim Shorkey because I had been there in the fall and was treated very well by a sales person so I wanted to go back.Drove there in a snow storm, had my husband meet me there because it was his 1 night off from his second job this week and wanted to look and Jeep Wranglers. I have been looking at Wranglers for over 20 years and it is my bucket list car. When we ran #'s the payment was going to be around $600 a month which was more than we felt comfortable paying so we looked at other cars. Settled for a Jeep Renegade and trading in the vehicle that we currently have the higher payment on instead of the one we have the lower payment on so was comfortable with the "quoted" $491 payment, understood the payment could fluctuate a few dollars either way. Left the lot with the Renegade more than 4 hours after getting there.Today my husband gets a call informing him that the final payment amount is $596 a month!!!!!! xxx!!! 1) bait and switch is being brought into an establishment understanding you are getting 1 product and being given a different product because the one they brought you in with is "not available" which is exactly what they did with the loan. 2) They never even approached our own bank with the application and yes they do know where we bank and both of our car loans are currently at that bank. 3) Why in the world would you expect someone to pay a payment that they are not comfortable paying for a dream car for a car of half the value the they "settled for". When I went to speak to the GM the statement was made that we were upside down on the trade so the banks were not willing to go the longer term which would have brought the payment down. I advised that the 1 thing I had not liked when I had been there in the fall was that they had low balled me on my trade then. The same day I had taken the exact same car to We Buy Any Car who had stated they would purchase the car for $3000 more than what I was offered for trade and they again low balled us on trade because my husband had done a KBB estimate and the care we were looking at trading was coming in at 7000 to 8000 in horrible condition which ours is not in and they only wanted to give $5000 on trade.I also found out that the sales person that had treated me so well in the fall had been fired, not sure why but really hope he has found employment some place that is much more ethical!!!!!I would not buy a Barbie Jeep from Jim Shorkey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jim Shorkey promised a $500 gift card for parts/service & when I tried to contact him to use it, he would not return my phone call. Stay away!!

We 1st looked to purchase a new car under lease- a Dart that had been on the lot for months. Was told that "Buy" was currently less expensive than "Lease" and the paperwork to show lease payment was too time consuming. ( Previous day we looked at a Ford model car from the same dealership's Ford location- in which they provided both Buy and Lease payment options in minutes- lease being less). Since a new car Buy was out of our price range, we then looked at 2-3 yr old cars instead. Salesman found a 2012 Avenger that we researched (Web via phone) as a "Fair Buy" and had been on the lot for 2 months. Ran out of time & said would return next morning to test drive. Car was sold overnight. Then looked at a similar Avenger (2011, higher mileage, more options- higher price) Researched and showed salesman that it was overpriced by $700 and on the lot even longer. He called the Manager: he didn't even offer to negotiate, stating is was a good price as is. Before leaving, he looked for another car to fit our price range- which of course the 2 found were not anywhere near our type/model selections- a subcompact and a Jeep. Too bad- they could have had a sale if they would have negotiated a little, or even shown the costing on the car to justify the price. We purchased a 2013 Avenger for same money as the sold 2012 at another dealership the same day. Do your research up front on price/value and don't expect any negotiation if you shop there for a used car.

I was most pleasantly surprised with the quality of service, and personal touch, and the overall experience during a recent purchase of a pre-owned vehicle at Jim Shorkey. Our consultant, Tom Haskins, was professional and helpful, while maintaining a very pragmatic approach. We knew that we had a budget amount in place (based on a monthly payment) and a credit score that was less-than exceptional - or even great. It was good. Tom took the time to investigate which vehicles were within our price range, and worked to get us financing that was acceptable. There was the "pressure" to purchase additional warranty coverage - however, I declined. If I would provide one less-than-positive critique, it was the comfort level and time spent while waiting for the paperwork to be produced and various vehicle-specific delays. Most of our time was spent (approximately 3 of the 4 hours or so) on rather uncomfortable chairs - with just my wife and myself. There was very little interaction with others at the dealership - or more hospitable accommodations. All in all, great experience. It was unfortunate that a vehicle that was posted on-line that was of interest was not available (though the effort to locate it was appreciated) however, we are most satisfied with the vehicle that we purchased. The trade-in was low (in my opinion) but acceptable. Only time will tell if the vehicle purchased passed CarFax...that was never offered.

I had to do some repairs on this after I bought it.. 1. the front bumper was hitting the grill.I spaced out the driver side with a .25 thick plate 5x7 .the other side .5 thick 5x7 plate...also the rear sway bar was out off adjustment ....was making a bad sound when driving....air filter did not have a line hooked up ...my off road lights keep blowing a fuze back up alarm sounds all the time when in reverse ......you should complain to Rocky Ridge Thanks Denny oh had 4,000 miles when I bought it

If you ask most people what is something they really hate to put themselves through in life you will hear the following phrase. "Shopping for a new car" I would estimate that it's in life's top 3 things to dread. A car purchase in most people's lives will be the second biggest purchase in their life behind buying a home. When you decide to go shopping for a new home you get to select your sales person When it is time to go shopping for a new car the process is a little different.. The minute you step on that car dealers lot you are at the mercy of the "Next Up Sales Person" in the rotation. No selection process, No interview, No choice on who is going to help you with which most likely will be your second biggest buying decision. Well I need to tell you I hit the "Car Salesperson Lottery" when I was approached by Jackie Mcdade. From the moment she extended her hand to introduce herself to the final hand shake I felt like maybe this is "The New Era" in car sales. Jackie is professional, attentive, and knowledgeable. I met with Jackie originally as a scouting mission for a certain vehicle. I explained that I didn't have time to complete the shopping process that day and that I would return the next day. Jackie explained that she would be away from the dealership for a few days but would introduce me to a fellow professional that could assist me in my purchase. "WOW" This proved to me that not only had I won the lottery, but I selected the "Right Dealership". This is the type of place that not only makes the customer feel important, but does so with a staff that are ultimate team mates. I applaud the Jim Shorkey team, and the Shorkey family for trying to put a new face on car shopping. As it turned out, do to my schedule, I didn't make it back to the dealership until after Jackie returned to work. However during here absents I reached out to her through an email with a question. I knew she was away from work, and I didn't expect a response until she returned to work. Our experience started out good it seemed like they really cared and wanted us to get into a good car, but after we bought our car they have ignored us ever since. The car came without an owners manual and no one would get us one after calling our dealer and the dealership. They never gave us the spare tire they promised us, this place is terrible do not spend your hard working money here. They treat you like an inconvenience! I will never buy a car here again nor will I recommend I wish I would of read the reviews!

Excellent Service by our salesman Craig George. He went more out of his way to help us. Would recommend Craig to sell a car to a friend. I had three questions though. Number one when I use the key Faub to open the doors, why will only the front drivers side open. Number two is the sticker on the front window (6-16) does not match the sticker on the real license plate(8-16) Why?. Number three is since we are leasing the car, are we permitted to polish and wax the car or would this violate the lease agreement.

I recently purchased a Ram 1500 from Jim Shorkeys. I did some internet shopping and seen that they had the best prices. I inquired about a vehicle I liked on their website. The next morning I received a phone the next day to schedule an appointment to speak with a sales person. I met with Rich Stevens, we sat down discussed what I was looking for in a truck talk about the Jim Shorkey dealership and how they are about all about the customer. Rich was very thorough with all my needs I wanted. They were willing to find the truck that I wanted from another dealership, they wanted me to be happy and satisfied with my purchase. Lucky enough the next day some new vehicles were delivered and they had one with the options I wanted. Rich and Jim Jenkins were very honest and forthcoming on all options on a lease and a buy and also very patient with me no pressure none what so ever I felt very trustworthy with themwe work some things out and struck a deal, It was the best buying car experience I ever had. I would recommend to anyone to buy a new vehicle from Jim Shorkey Chrysler ,Dodge, Ram and Jeep.

Brought my Jeep in because it's was not starting occasionally, they said nothing was wrong with it. Told them I had a noise coming from my tire.. Replaced parts I didn't need . Left dealership with same noise. If they test drove it they would of seen it wasn't fixed. Took it to my mechanic and said parts put in were defective. Now I'm back a week later to have it corrected and same run around. Worse place I ever dealt with.

Buying a vehicle from *Jim Shorkey has been nothing but trouble from day 1. First of all the individual that handled the purchase andpaperwork didn't know what he was doing and turned into a 2 day procedure due to his inabilities. Next it's vehicle has numerous problems.radio will turn on and off over and over. When radio goes off, dash lights go off also. There's a rattle in the vehicle and they say it was Sun roof and that's not it. Then try calling service or parts and all you ever get is voicemails. Try to call any other dealership and I gurantee you will get a human on the line first and every time in parts or service. I do not recommend Shorkeys. BTW it is a 2015 Jeep Trailhawk that there are so many problems with.

Bob went out of his way to help us find what we wanted and by the end of our visit we purchased a Wrangler. Bob Marino is a man of integrity and honesty. We appreciated his straight-forward, no nonsense approach. He was both courteous and polite throughout the transaction and we left feeling we got the best possible deal. Salesman Dush was right on although he was new he did everything he could to help us get in the jeep that day. Highly reccomend them there they go above and beyond to help the customer. After talking with several dealerships in Pittsburgh about the specific features and color I wanted in a 2015 Jeep Renegade I was referred to Tony Brooks at Jim Shorkey. While every other dealership told me I was too specific or would have to settle for a different color or without one of my desired features, Tony found exactly what I was looking for. The dealership had to do a trade with another dealership but Tony made sure his team was able to get it to me around my schedule. My entire expereince was quick, smooth, and simple. My fiance and I chose to buy new vehicle, we look at a car we liked it we wanted it. I asked to have a car in black they brought out a different car told me it was exactly the same car except for the computer screen was smaller. We went ahead we purchased the car once home I realized the screen was not just smaller but it was lacking a lot of features that the other car had.we called many times and did not get a return call finally we put a call into Mr. Shorkey himself and he returned the call. We offered to pay for a GPS to be put in the car he looked into it said it cannot be done you bought it you're stuck with it or trade it in and lose $4000 on it because it is now a used car or keep it. My car was not detailed when we left, it was late. Nobody ever called back to have my car detailed it has surface scratches that need buffed out the stickers are from January I bought my car in April. We have several more phone calls and about getting it detailed and we are once again being told all cars are detailed before they leave.. Dealerships are in business because of people like us. Please do your research on any vehicle that you want before you buy.. You cannot rely on a salesman to be honest! They just want the sale! Good luck!

I have had nothing but a series of disappointments after the sale with this dealership. I got a great deal on the vehicle, but the service after the sale has been disappointing. Anytime I ask about warranty issues I am told I have to start a claim with Chrysler Customer Service first, if they deem it is something worth checking into, then they will take care of it. The service appointments are always scheduled 3 to 4 weeks out, nothing is ever available on a Saturday. If I call a local competing dealer and explain the problems I am having with Shorkey, they always do their best to get me in the next day. That tells me who wants my business going forward, I think I;ll pay a little more for my vehicle the next time I'm shopping.

This is an additional entry since my initial review made on 18 November 2014, I want everyone to know that my concerns addressed in my initial review have been completely addressed and resolved. I was contacted by the owner of the Shorkey Auto Group and we had an in-depth point by point discussion regarding my scathing review. Mr. Shorkey was understanding and did not attempt to make excuses or deny my experience. He very simply wanted to make it right and ensure that his company corrected processes which made my buying experience less than perfect. He addressed each point and provided his vision on what could be done. After several days he wrapped back around with me to discuss steps that had been implemented as short term solutions and what additional resources were being applied as long term resolutions. I was completely satisfied with his responses and was quite amazed that senior leadership would step down to the common man to make it as right as possible. For an owner to admit his company isn't always perfect but he will always make strides to better his company in favor of the buyer is an often unseen ray of sunshine in the car buying process.

My initial contact with Shorkey Jeep was via the internet with a follow-up phone call from the internet sales section to explain some processes and we came to an agreement as to what the cost should be for a certain vehicle on the lot. I made an appointment to have my trade-in appraised and was ensured a minimum cost for the trade-in through their web sites pre-approved estimate application. The following day I met with the Salesperson, who was very friendly though she admitted being new and not having a lot of knowledge about the vehicle I was looking at. The vehicle was brought out and we took at test drive while my trade-in was appraised. Upon my return I was introduced to the sales manager who told me what he appraised my trade-in at, well below what their web site had estimated. My trade-in was a pristine sport car with zero issues and low mileage. It couldnt have been a bad trade-in since it has re-sold in less than three weeks. So I mentioned about the conversation with the internet sales representative and was basically told she is not a salesman but he would consider the estimate. We finally agreed on an amount slightly above the internet sales persons amount. The next step; bartering on the vehicle price and though I pointed out the dollar amount discuss with the internet rep I was informed that must have been another vehicle and the price on-line was with all discounts already added in. Funny how the internet knew I was a retired veteran and had already subtracted that additional discount ($500). I should have walked but I really wanted this particular vehicle and had driven 100 miles to look at so we moved forward after agreeing on a price. I purchased the 2014 Jeep Trailhawk only to find out two days later the car had an open recall. When I was notified I was told to bring it into Shorkey and it would be inspected/repaired at no cost. I live over 100 miles from the dealer so I checked with a local Jeep dealer and they couldnt get it in for over two weeks. I contacted Jeep HQ to ensure the vehicle was safe to drive and they would not ensure the vehicle was safe to drive; so I didnt. I informed the sales manager of the issue and he tried to get me to drive it to back to the dealership or to another dealership 30 miles away to have it fixed. I am supposed to take vacation days off work to get the problem that should have been fixed months before I bought the car; I think not. Finally a driver was sent to pick the car up, driven back to Shorkey, inspected and a part was replaced and then returned to me! Total time that I was without my new vehicle was five days and the car had 200 more miles placed on it to be repaired. The entire process has left a bitter taste in my mouth regarding the dealership and its promise of personal commitment to our customers and no games pricing policy!

This dealer could have sold the 2012 White Convertible Camaro that is still on their website at another one of their dealerships. Drove an hour for them to tell me they could give me $5k less than my trade in was worth because "We already came down on the price of this car." Not my fault YOU cannot sell this car- now I see why! Not even a call to see what they could do to sell the car (it really wasn't much). You did me a favor, we found a nicer 2011 Camaro with 1000 miles at a dealership that knows how to treat customers instead of Katie making fancy commercials!!

My eyes were gazed on a particular car so we took it for a test drive. I did purchase the car and the whole process went smooth. Sara Romo was and is a very generous and easy going person and a great sales consultant. She made the process easy and enjoyable. She deserves an applause. Thanks again Sara! I started the process on the internet. Made an appointment to test drive the T&C and see salesman, Tony Brooks. He was fantastic, knowledgeable and polite. There was no pressure or stress to buy what so ever with him or the dealership. They met their selling price that was quoted to me and gave me a fair trade-in value on my car. The T&C was detailed before driving away and it looked awesome! The whole process of buying the new car was by far the easiest and pressure free deal that I have ever experienced.

I visited the Jim Shorkey Jeep dealership in Irwin, PA (an hour and 20 mins away from where I live) after doing research and reading mostly positive reviews. The reviews could not have been more wrong. After exchanging emails with the dealership for a couple days, I was feeling pretty good going into the ordeal. Upon arrival at the dealership, I was introduced to the salesman Matt Kramer after waiting approximately 15 minutes. After telling Matt which Jeep I was interested in, he left to start the appraisal on my trade-in. He then returned to tell me that they could not locate the exact Jeep I was interested in and that we could test drive another Jeep that was basically the same. The test drive went fine. Once we returned to the dealership, Matt gave me the results of my appraisal, which was almost $5K below the blue book value. He then informed me that I was upside down on my current loan (this should not have been a surprise, I was upfront about this from my very first conversation with the dealership). He then told me what the price of the Jeep was, which was $3K more than advertised on the dealership website. The explanation he provided was that I didnt qualify for any of the rebates because I wasnt a recent graduate or veteran. He then placed an absurd set of numbers in front of me to demonstrate what he anticipated my monthly payment would be. After I told him that those numbers were absurd and would not work for me, that is when things started to change. He then had me complete a credit application to see what the actual numbers would be. After waiting approximately an hour, he came back to tell me that no bank would finance me without $5K down. Again, I was upfront from the beginning that I was not prepared to make a large down payment on a vehicle. I then asked him to run the numbers on another vehicle that was approximately $10K less than the first vehicle. Again, he disappeared. This time he was gone for approximately 1.5 hours. While I waited in his cubicle for news, I could see my salesman and the finance guy sitting in the finance office laughing and playing on their phones. There was no attempt to keep me apprised of the status of the deal or to discuss what other options were available. Finally, after being at the dealership for a total of almost 4 hours, Matt came to me and simply handed me the keys to my current vehicle and told me they couldnt get the deal to work. No further explanation and absolutely no attempt to offer me additional options. This was not my first vehicle purchase and I have never seen a dealership/salesman that was uninterested in making the deal work. Although completely dumbfounded at what had just occurred, while I was still in the dealership parking lot, I completed a credit application for a nearby Chevy dealership and immediately received a phone call asking me to stop by. An hour and a half later (including test driving 2 vehicles), I was pulling off the Chevy dealership in a brand new SUV. The real kicker is that my new Chevy was more expensive than the second Jeep that the Jeep dealership couldnt make work and the Chevy was financed through the exact same bank that Jeep claimed would not offer me financing. The Chevy dealership also offered me full blue book value for my trade-in. While I certainly appreciate the free cookies and coffee offered by Jim Shorkey, the snacks are apparently a distraction from the poor customer service. This dealership definitely lost me as a customer. While I fully understand that the purchase and financing of a vehicle is complicated and sometimes just doesnt work, the lack of interest showed by this dealership and the salesman was astounding to me. Thank god for Kenny Ross Chevy!

Stopped by Jim Shorkey Chrysler on our way from Hermitage, PA to Philadelphia, PA because they had a very large selection of colors and styles that we had researched on-line. Our original intent was to stop by to physically see and compare the variety of colors, packages, and options. Worked with Andy Cooper by phone and Karen Schmidt-Ramsey in person; both were extremely polite and courteous. Turned out we liked what we saw, so we put some money down to hold the vehicle, went on vacation, and after returning from vacation took our old car down for a trade-in. The final monthly payment was great and the amount offered for our trade-in was fair. The dealership was very busy (which I feel is a good sign) and we were treated very well. I saw an ad on their website for a Limited Journey MSRP 35,500 for lease of $279 with incentives, or $239 with 1000 down and incentives; or EVERYONE qualifies at $297. I called to verify the special as well as e-mails back and forth. Went in for the appt after being there for 1hr we finally got to talking numbers and they acted as they had no idea about the advertisement. Luckily I had printed it and showed it to them. They still kept trying to change things around and basically said they cant honor it. They cant give a Limited for that low of a price maybe an SXT model. But a Limited just isnt possible. It was an advertised special on their website! After much discussion, They tried to offer us a 31,000 vehicle that didnt have all the added options for close to $400 a month far from the advertised special. After 3 hours there I just wanted out . The sales guy said he would get in touch with the GM and see if they could honor the deal. I couldnt believe this, we werent asking for anything crazy we just wanted was advertised. After almost 2 days of not hearing anything (and we left multiple messages with multiple people and before our apt we were receiving multiple calls and e-mails daily) they offered only a specific 28,000 Journey for $389 a month. Again a lesser value car for $100 more a month. Ridiculous. I dont know how a business can get away with such false advertisement and its been days since and the ad is still on their website the monthly payment has changed alittle. But its still advertising the Limited for $279.

l purchased my 2013 Kia Soul at the Kia dealership excellent buying experience, very easy, they just got it done for a particularly difficult customer --I was with my father :( -- Was searching for a truck this go round, worked with Justin Felix, he was amazing, no fuss, no muss. Listened to what our wants were and found it. Needless to say walked in on a Saturday morning with only the intent to look, drove out later with a very nice Truck that was exactly what we wanted. Jed in finance was very quick and easy to work with, I don't think I ever made it through the finance process so quickly...EVER!! The service was all around outstanding at the Chrysler Jeep/Dodge dealership in N Huntingdon, and it was a crazy packed house when we were there, but you'd never guess the way they took care of everything. No high pressure sales, no second rate service. I would definitely recommend Shorkey, whether your looking for a new or used vehicle they do a great job and the pricing doesn't feel like you're getting raked over the coals in the process.

Truck was advertised (and priced) as a Laramie. I found out after purchase, it is a lower trimmed SLT. I traded in a truck I still owed money on. They didn't pay it off for over 40 days after purchase, resulting in a negative mark on my credit. They registered the truck incorrectly and sent me a bill for their mistake a few weeks after purchase. Recall on truck wasn't performed before it was sold. Routine maintenance wasn't performed before it was sold. Less than 4000 miles later, tie rod broke (it was the recalled part). Also, less than 4000 miles, clutch is shot. Shorkey touts his "warranty forever". My clutch isn't covered. Mr. Shorkey contacted me and asked for more information about my issues. I sent him a detailed email, with pictures. I sent him a follow up email. It's now over a month later, not a peep in response. Apparently I need to resign myself to the idea that Shorkey is done trying to make this right.

Went to buy a new Grand Cherokee. Low ball on trade. Came back with higher than advertised payment. I declined and asked for my trade in keys. All of a sudden hostility and smart remarks about not being able to afford what we were looking at. Completely Un professional. Our household is 100k plus income , and we like to wear shorts and t shirts when not working...I will never recommend these guys, nor buy a vehicle there. Wanna be salesman may wanna rethink career choice. If a professional attitude would've been kept I would've bought there, because I really liked the jeep.

I called jim shorkey looking for a new jeep patriot. I talked with matt and told him I had a Malibu to trade in. I told him what I had been offered locally and he gave me an OUT THE DOOR PRICE. His price was cheaper. I asked him repeatedly to make sure I could get the jeep for the that price including va tags and taxes.he assured me he could. there dealership was listed wrong on autotrader I didn't know it was 3 and half hours away until I put the address in my GPS I called Matt to tell him look I'm coming but it's a long way away so there better not be any problems or surprises when I get there. he assured me once again there wouldn't. He told me that jessi would be there to take care of me. When I got there the jeep that I wanted was gone. They had same jeep same color different radio for 2000 more. they had other jeep patriots same options different color but they were 1000 dollars higher than what they said. I told them what I would be paying out the door locally in Virginia before I went up there. There price was the same but I would have to come back to Virginia and pay my taxes and tags out of pocket so therefore I would end up spending 1000 more I tried to explain this to them put they cocked an attitude and acted like I was stupid. jessi actually said "matts stupid for giving you that price we can't do that" they kept asking me what the sales rate was in Virginia. I said I think its 3.5 but you should know you sell cars for a living not me. I ended up walking out. matt wouldn't answer his phone but texted me back next day saying he would take off 500 more. I said to him in a text 500 off what my vehicle wasn't even there. he never responded back but had another salesman call me. I told him what happened and that I was willing to pay the same thing I agreed on when I went up there the first time. he said he would call me back. its been two weeks have not heard back. if you want to buy a vehicle from people that lie and waste your time this would be the place to go

I visited Shorkey Jeep in North Huntington to check out the 2014 Jeeps, namely the Patriot. Got a lot of help & information from both the Floor Salesperson (Russ Shively) and the Internet Salesperson (Beth Roboski) during and between visits. They were very responsive in person and via email and helped me find the right vehicle for my needs at a cost I could manage. After a few visits and at least a dozen emails, I eventually purchased a 2014 Patriot Lattitude 4x4. I think both Russ & Beth made the experience very smooth and pleasant.

I came to Jim Shorkey CDJR to trade in my current vehicle for a new 2014 Ram 1500. Craig was the salesman I worked with when completing this deal, and he was phenomenal. He was very personable, and a joy to work with. I never felt like I was working with a salesperson who was trying to make a quick buck off of me; rather, Craig wanted to make sure I got exactly what I wanted at the best price possible. The vehicle I choose had two things that I wanted to add-on, and the dealership was able to get both of those items installed that very same day. In the past, I dealt with a dealer who could not install a bug shield before I left with the truck, so I had to come back another day (it took them 1 hour and 45 minutes to install a bug shield and update the radio system). At Jim Shorkey, they were able to get the navigation system activated, along with the installation of running boards, the same day I purchased the vehicle. All in all, I had a highly positive experience at this dealership. Even if I did not end up purchasing my new Ram from this dealer, I still would have recommended them based on their hardwork to satisfy their customer.

I was very busy with work but needed and new truck and beth helped me to get in the dealer ship. She wasn't pushy at all and a pleasure to deal with and also gave me a awesome sales rep when I finnally got there. It hard to find time when you own your own business to find time. I got there late in the day and didn't realize they where closing in 20 mins and we test drove 3 trucks and then they still did all my paper work and financing! I didn't know that the time was 9 pm when we where finishing, and they never rushed me at all!! I was very impressed and blessed to have such a great family of workers helping me with my first new truck I ever bought new,at 41 years old! I will recommend Jim's dealership to everyone because all the workers care as if it was there dealership! It's a family for real!!!! Thank you thank you !!!

I can't even believe how much better Jim Shorkey's dealership was than others I've dealt with. My previous experience was with your typical unscrupulous sales team. I was prepared to do battle to defend my budget and get what I was paying for. I was so surprised to find that the folks at Jim Shorkey's worked so hard to make sure I was getting what I needed at the non-negotiable budget figure I had to work with. The facility itself was comfortable, which was a relief since it did take a little time to make the deal. I bought a used car that needed a few minor repairs. One required a part to be ordered. I honestly thought I was going to drive the car off the lot and never hear from them again, but to my amazement, a week later I got a call that the part was in. They estimated it would take an hour to do the repair and it actually only took an hour. Then today I got a call from their service department reminding me that daylight savings was coming and asking if I needed any help changing the clock in my new vehicle. Seriously. I am stunned at the level of customer service at Jim Shorkey's.

This dealer has been the best dealer I have ever dealt with. Prior to buy my new wrangler from them I was at other dealers looking. Jim Shorkey gave me the best offer on my trade-in and finance offer. Chris Herrod was the gentleman I dealt with and was very helpful and professional. He took care of everything I asked for and then some. He put no pressure on me the whole time I was at the dealership. The dealership as a whole really seemed to care about making sure I was happy. I will be back in the future and will refer them to friends as well.
