Second Subaru bought at this location. Drove 90 miles to Jenkins Subaru instead of my local dealer. 2017 Forester was even delivered to us at our home. i was there for an oilchange. and they spotted my expired inspection sticker. so they took care of the oil and the inspection for me. the car was done in a timely manner. and the service person was very friendly and helpful. various employees spoke to me as i walked around, offering help. i usually feel very uncomfortable in garages; but these folks make it much more tolerable.

Our salesperson was extremely knowledgeable and professional. No pushy arrogance here. It was a fairly relaxing buying experience which was a refreshing relief. Vehicle purchases are normally high pressure negotiations and you leave feeling like you've lost. Subaru's in general do not have a lot of wiggle room in their price. This I blame on the manufacture not the dealer and I think this is where Subaru needs to work on utilizing buying incentives for their customers.

I gotta' saw, it was actually a little refreshing working with Jason and Trey. For all the horror stories you hear about dealing with "the dealership" this was genuinely a pleasant experience. (especially for a 1st time car buyer like myself)I interacted with Jason mostly over email, but he was always incredibly polite, courteous, and patient as I flip-flopped between trim levels, and packages for my (oddly hard to find) 2016 Forester. Never once trying to "hard sell" me on anything, and always working to find the car I wanted. (He also did a phenomenal job at quickly returning my emails.) When it came time for financing, I had the virtually the same experience with Trey with him taking the time to thoroughly explain all the paperwork, and never once feeling rushed or pressured with anything.

Took vehicle for service which was very prompt. Service employee even checked with while waiting for service that one item I wanted installed was rather expensive and if I still wanted the service performed. When paying for service, the lady taking my payment was very friendly and cordial. I indicated before leaving that I was having difficulty programming my new phone into handsfree (Bluetooth) usage, and one of the servicemen promptly took my keys, went to my car, and programed my new phone at no charge. I previously posted about an issue with the tires on my brand new Forester. After posting about my dissatisfaction, the owner of Jenkins Subaru (John Jenkins) called me personally and left a message with his personal cell phone number in order to rectify the situation with the original tires on my Forester. When I called him back, he offered me what I felt was a more than fair offer to make the situation right, and I accepted. He did not ask me to change my review. He was more concerned about my family receiving what was fair and ensuring that I gave him the chance to earn my business in the future. I will now recommend Jenkins Subaru to anyone who asks. I had a scheduled oil change done on my 2015 Subaru Crosstrek. This service was done quickly and the staff was cordial and helpful. In May, 2015, I went to PA to buy my new Crosstrek instead of Jenkins, because I was given a better deal which was $3,000.00 dollars less. This was the price that we were told we should be paying for this type car in this area. The salesmen could not seem to explain why it was higher at Jenkins.

The engine in my old car bit the dust and my wife and I needed a car quickly to go on a trip for Christmas. A coworker recommended Jason Matthews as a contact at Jenkins Hyundai. We previously owned a Subaru and was interested in another Subaru. Jason was very friendly and showed us both Subaru's and Hyundai's. We didn't feel pressured at all even though we did need a car. Jason took the time to answer all our questions and show us everything about the cars we looked at. After looking at the vehicles we were interested in, we chose the Hyundai Santa Fe. We liked the roominess and the warranty. We also appreciated how Trey Scalese made the financing part quick and easy. It was a good experience.

Had a very good experience, Kristy was my sales agent and she was very nice and helpful. I went to 2 other dealerships before Jenkins Subaru and by far she was the best. I even got a really cute hot pink coffee cup and I got to donate $250 to a charity of my choice which was really nice. Everyone that walked by me while I was waiting, smiled and asked how I was doing, including the mechanic people. And I was offered refreshments (water) as well while I waited, which was a very nice gesture. I love my car and I will definitely be going back there if I trade it in or buy another vehicle.

I had my brakes checked. To my surprise they were completely gone and I needed new brakes. I am thankful that the person I talked to on the phone got my car in quickly and the service was very good. Unfortunately, I had recently had an oil change at the same place and was told my brakes were ok at that time. I was informed that the person who checked my car the last time was let go and is no longer there. I am thankful for that because it is scary to think someone said they checked your car when actually they had not.I purchased my car years earlier at the same facility but it was under different management then and I always get my car serviced there. Jenkins understood we ere serious and got us into the vehicle we wanted at a great price and QUICKLY. The Car had a couple of tiny chips on it that we found on delivery and they offered to repair it but we said no need....when we signed all the paperwork, they told us they were taking a couple hundred bucks off to compensate us!!!! When Day Hyundai would not help fix a problem on my 5 month old purchase I called Jenkins. Although they said they had no appts Jacob said bring it down for a look. Once there thw mechanic would not let me drive it, Jacob found a loaner, fixed my car within days. I wish it had not been so costly but I need a car and they did the best they could for me, got me into their schedule when they could have blown off like the original dealer did, even fed me lunch while I waited ( took pity on the frustrated female). Other than the cost it was as good an experience as could ask for.

We already own a 2011 Elantra and are happy with it. So that made us want to see the Hyundai SUV's.We looked at several vehicles, at this dealership and others. My wife kept coming back to the Tucson. The young man who we worked with most is not on this list and I can't remember his name, but he was very helpful. He kept bringing the vehicles out for us to try without complaint and even made a few suggestion. Rick was the one who handled the final sale and he was very helpful and knowledgeable. He helped us find all the discounts he could. Brought us water and coffee. Trey handled our paperwork. Very professional. Very thorough. Bottom line is, we don't enjoy dealing with car salesmen, but since we had to... We are happy we chose these guys to work with. I was at the dealership not more than 5 minutes before a salesman came out to help, the car I was interested in was not there, but they had me take a similar one out for a test drive. Upon my return my salesman Ray was busy so another salesman, Zach Utter, came out to help me while I waited on the car to return and for Ray to be available. Upon the car returning Zach checked to see if it was still available and took us out to look. Ray came out when he was done with another customer and well he sold me a car, with a wonderful price and showed me everything I needed to know before I drove off. Left from Pa. at 2:30p.m this past Saturday (5/6/15) and drove approximately 1.5 hours to Jenkins Subaru to look at a Special Edition 2015 Crosstrek XV for my wife Arrived at the dealership a little after 4pm. (They close at 5). Went to the showroom to speak with Michael Tillman whom I had spoken to earlier in the day. Found him to be a nice friendly young man, and I told him I dropped my wife off at the end of their lot to look at the vehicle, but he never offered to go meet her at the car with the keys, offer to open it, and even show it to her, let alone let her test drive it.? Not sure what that was all about. Told him we were interested in trading our leased 2012 Nissan Rogue, so he immediately wanted my keys to get some numbers on my vehicle. Came back with the figures 10-20 minutes later and gave the numbers to us, showing us the price to purchase the Crosstrek with, and without a trade (again, told him we were specifically looking at trading). I told him the numbers he gave us on my trade were poor, but he never offered to even discuss the numbers further, or ask what he could do to sell us this car, or where I would like to be on my payment etc.... as most GOOD dealers usually do. Just let us get up and walk out!!!!!! Truthfully, I don't think Michael, or the dealership had any intention or interest in selling us the vehicle. Just did us a favor of giving us some numbers to appease us. Maybe to late in the day for them and didn't want to be there past 5, or maybe due to the vehicle being a "special edition" vehicle and them wanting to get full sticker price for it. Not really sure what the issue was ????? Whatever the case may be, I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. Not being smart, but I personally have purchased and owned 38 cars since I was 18 yrs old, (presently 59 now) and since that time have never been in a dealership that operated in this fashion. MOST dealerships at least try or want to work with you in some way. Logically thinking, you would think that since I traveled 1.5 hours from PA to look at this car. they would think that my intentions would be to leave that day with that vehicle, but evidently they didn't care one way or another. They had no idea that my checkbook was in my back pocket, and should they "have tried a little harder" to work with us on my trade, I probably would have left with that vehicle that afternoon, as this was the vehicle my wife truly wanted. The only reason I am giving them 1 star is because Michael was a nice enough young man, but otherwise, the overall performance of this sales and management staff was poor. I certainly learned my lesson (after a lot of gas wasted), that no matter how bad I or my wife want a car or SUV, I will stay in Pa. and continue to shop close to home to purchase it. I'm not sure, but maybe if your from out-of-state and get to this dealer on a Saturday BEFORE 4pm, things will turn out different and they might actually show you the car your interested in buying.

I purchased my Subaru Outback in 2013, after carefully checking the reviews on the service department of several dealerships, I chose Jenkins Subaru (Larry Myers at the time) it was the best. I had very good experiences up until last year. I started having difficulty scheduling appointments for routine maintenance that were convenient for me. I have to travel over 50 miles and I work irregular hours. The wait time was always a week or more, and then when I did have an appointment for a routine oil change I waited over two hours in the service department lounge. Now trying to schedule to have my car inspected (free state inspections, one of the selling features) they can't work me in again for a week! I spoke with the manager and all I heard were excuses. When I said I'd have to go else where for my inspection, he sounded as if he didn't care. Very poor customer service, I will not be dealing with Jenkins again and will discourage others to do so as well.

I am not the easiest person to deal with when it comes to making a big purchase. Travis was very patient and answered all my questions. I couldn't find the exact car on the lot but Travis quickly told me it "wasn't a problem," they would find the car that I wanted and bring it to me within 24 hrs. The car did come quickly but it was missing one of the features that was not grouped in the package of the older models but instead of letting me walk out disappointed, he showed me how to use my own iphone in place of the Navigation not installed then for my trouble, lowered the price even more. I was sold! After buying the car and going through the smooth and surprisingly painless process of paperwork thanks to Mike Bacco, I was shown around to the service and parts dept. and anyone that was around, he made sure I was introduced to. Travis took me out my car and sat with me for close to an hour answering any questions I had and showing me EVERY feature the car possessed. Travis didn't make the "dreaded" car buying experience feel like that at all. I left feeling like he was just there to make sure I was able purchase the car I've always wanted and feel good about it.

My wife wanted something New and something large enough to hold all of our stuff. I wanted her to have AWD at least and something cheap. We initially stopped in because of Hyundai's warranties, but got to looking around - they have quite a variety. We put the salesman through the wringer looking at several different types and test driving a couple of models. We hadn't planned to actually buy a new car that day - we were more or less just checking out our options. We are appreciative of everyone there who stayed after closing by about an hour to ensure that we left with the car that we wanted. We didn't settle and actually found a vehicle on the lot that met our requirements, looks amazing, drives wonderfully, and fit our budget. They even gave us a deal on our old car, trading it in for more than it was worth - they probably lost money on that one. They worked with us to set up a great financing plan with just a little down. I purchased a wrx from Jenkins Subaru and it was a great experience. The salesman Travis Johnson was a pleasure to deal with and very knowledgable with each question that I had. He was very helpful and I would recommend that everyone deal with Travis in the future. Trey in finance was also very helpful with making sure that my Gap insurance was offered for my vehicle and that all aspects were taken care of. I will most definatley return to Jenkins Subaru on my next vehicle purchase.

I was an out of state travler who had a transmission issue while in the area. Was told it would be one week before they could look at the car. I had called early on a Monday morning and offered to leave the car there until Thursday afternoon. They insisted that the following Monday was the earliest they could get the car in. I was shopping around online for new and used Subaru car deals within 100 miles of Morgantown, and ended up reaching out to over half a dozen dealerships. Most dealers just asked me to come in and talk to them, some came down a few hundred dollars on the listed price, but only Michael Tillman at Jenkins Subaru-Hyundai was straight-forward and honest enough to offer a great deal along with a price overview so I could better understand the financing options. When we started looking for a vehicle to replace the truck, we would just drive thru and compare vehicles, options and prices (we were considering a Nissan Rogue and Juke, Toyota Rav4, Honda CRV, Subaru Forester, Crosstek and Outback). On one such trip, Ray Thompson came out to greet us. He was very friendly and helpful, answering questions and offering us the option to test drive any car we would like. Although it was very cold outside, Ray did not rush off. After many trips (and a test drive), Jenkins received an Outback in the color and with more options than we were looking for. We asked Ray to get us a price on the vehicle. We were not looking to purchase the vehicle but with Ray's help we got a good deal on the vehicle and ultimately purchased the vehicle. Jenkins really worked with us on the entire buying process. Since we were not expecting to purchase a car, for a minimal amount Jenkins held the car so we could go home and figure out how much down payment we could afford and how we wanted to do the financing. They even gave us a good trade in on our truck. Trey Scalese helped us with our financing. He was very helpful and answered all our questions without making us feel like we were a burden or stupid. He was very patient when I took the time to read over the paperwork.
