I'm not the perfect sales in any way. I don't have perfect credit, I had no money down, I owed on my trade, but Gary never gave ul on me. He pushed for what I wanted in my car and worked within my budget. He was honest, but couteous the whole time we worked together. He took his time and found the best deal for me, and I couldn't be happier.

Yesterday I had the privilege of purchasing my second card from Jake Sweeny Chevrolet. My sales person Darryl was amazing. He listened to what I wanted and on my test drive he took the time out to explain all the features that came with the car and answered any questions I had. I went into Jake Sweeney looking to trade in my car and hopefully finding a nice used car. Worked with Daniel Gomez out of the internet department. No funny business, was transparent with the sales process and explanation. I have been burned before by surreptitious sales man, parading around as charlatan customer service reps when, in reality, they were more akin to a tapeworm; looking to leach off of you and your hard earned cash. Daniel did not do that; he spent several days working with me on choosing a car, remained patient, and was willing to have me back at different times, week days and weekends. No matter who you are you will likely feel fleeced when leaving a car dealership. That might be up there as an inevitability along with death and taxes. The highest praise I can heap upon Daniel, however, is that he made the process feel like a fair transaction and never once pushed or pulled me in any direction I was clearly unwilling to go in.TL;DR: Good dude, would go again

My experience with Gary Reed - Salesman at Jake Sweeney Chevrolet, Cincinnati, Ohio As we discussed in our original call, you act like selling a $90k+ car is not a priority? This was demonstrated again in your effort to have me figure out my own deal on the car. I have bought multiple new cars including from (Mercedes, Audi, BMW, Bentley, Cadillac, Lexus, etc) many have exceeded the cost of this car in the past. Sometimes financed and sometimes in cash. EVERY salesperson walks into their finance manager, he/she plugs in the numbers and it adds up everything and they put in the term and interest rate based on the app, print it out, and the client can make a decision. This is how cars and deals are made. It would seem you need to be taught this by someone. Further, you are advertising this car as NEW, 4000 miles is not new, it is now used. Then your dealership pulls a bate and switch on a car when you tell me deep in the deal, that the staff has been "driving it around". Do you not think this was an important detail to share in an initial call? Thou, I recall I did have to wait nearly 10 minutes for your to figure out if you even owned the vehicle you were advertising nationally. I am guessing everyone that is interest is this car (2016 Corvette Z06 Convert 3LZ) may be as frustrated with the lack of effort as I am. In my opinion, no one will show up at your dealership to buy, you will need to further lower the price and loose money on this unit to sell it this fall. This is required to compensate a buyer for the lack of service they will receive from the sub par sales person.I am not intersted in pursuing this car with you, or your complacent dealership. Working with Gary was great. I never felt that he was slippery or hiding anything from me. He worked with me to find a vehicle in my budget. I would recommend working with him when you go in. Area for growth - Financing. Actually getting in the door to talk with someone is a lengthy process. Could have been my anxiousness that made it feel like I waited forever though. I believe the wait was around 45 min. Once in the door though, the rep was knowledgable and provided great service. I originally started at McCluskey and am glad I finished here.

Worst customer service I have ever received!!!

Due to then fact that my vehicle was taken into service 3 times during the warranty period to have the transmission specifically looked at because it was slipping and nothing was done. Finally the transmission goes out on the vehicle after the warranty is up (time frame not miles). Then neither the dealership nor GM is willing to take ownership of the issue and replace the part. Only after complaining for 2 weeks did GM come through with a 70% pay offer to have it fixed. When the vehicle was taken in the 3 times prior to this knowing full well that the transmission was slipping and explaining to them time and time again that there was an issue nothing was done to the vehicle. During the 3 times the vehicle was in the shop before I was given a courtesy car to drive while they were checking it out. This time however because the car is paid off and out of the time warranty there was no courtesy car. Not only no car to drive but my vehicle kept getting pushed to the end of the line. The car was dropped off by my tow truck on Thursday and I was told it would be looked at before the weekend. That Friday afternoon I got a call that the car would not be looked at and it would be the following Tuesday 100%. Due to monday day being a holiday. Tuesday afternoon I called and now what I was told was. "We didn't have time to look at it and we honestly can't tell you when we will" along with a personal attack that "you don't know what it takes to get these cars diagnosed we do and we are very busy and will let you know when we are done." So I politely ask what the worst case would be and was told the following Monday. At this time I was forced to rent my own car. And the first contact to GM was made because I felt that I was getting pushed aside and wasn't going to get a satisfactory service due to the extremely rude parts manager and transmission tech. With that background I can explain how this looks from a now former customers point of view. If your car 1. Has an issue and 2. Is under warranty and 3. You still owe us money. You will be taken care of fairly well but we will not go as far to look into it any further than absolutely necessary. However if you do have an issue and aren't under warranty and don't owe us money. You immediately drop to the bottom of the barrel and we'll get to it when we can. And you should be happy that we are spending our precious time on squeezing you into our schedule when we have other paying customers. To say the least this entire experience has taught me a lot about how GM handles their customers and how that dealership treats people. I feel sadden and embarrassed to have bought a chevy. I don't believe I'll be making that mistake in the future. Please pass this on to the supervisor at GM that has still not returned my call. Not to mention, my car was clean as a pin when I brought it in and when I went to pick it up it was covered in a film of dirt and dust and the floor board was covered in dirt from whoever was working on it.

Need a callback? Don't hold your breath. Walk into the dealership? You'll be promptly greeted! And then left standing around while the salesman goes........where? I want to start by clarifying that my 4-star rating is not a reflection of the salesmen at the dealership. I had spoke to Jerrell Jordon a couple times on the phone before visiting and asked for him upon arrival. He met me in the showroom a few minutes later, and he was great to communicate with from the first phone call through the end of the deal. He was very open with information and didn't seem to be trying to hide anything. I was looking at a certified pre-owned 2015 Camaro with 4097 miles on it, so with it being certified, I wasn't too worried about something hidden being wrong. He went over the history of the car straight from the CARFAX with me before I drove out to see it, which was nice because I had to go almost 2 hours to get there. If and when I decide to trade up for a new car years down the road, I'll definitely see if Jerrell is still in the area. My only problem with the dealership came during the financing segment of the day, which is to be expected. Initially, however, there was no amount of negotiation on their side. This is the first car that I have financed, and only being 22, I don't have a very long credit history. My credit is still pretty good since I pay my credit card off at the end of every month, but there initial offer was an outlandish interest rate. Finally by the fourth round of questions they realized that if they wanted this car gone today, they had to do better. Some action was finally taken on their end and they came back with almost half the interest rate and a slightly lower sale price on the car. I'm very happy with the deal I ended up with, but it was definitely frustrating before we got to that point. So to wrap up, 5 stars to Jerrell for being one of the coolest guys and friendliest salesman I've talked to, 4 stars to the dealer for the initial lack of anything that could be considered negotiation.

Indescribable!!! I came in a few weeks ago with a minimum down payment, my credit wasn't great so I wasn't sure that I would leave with anything but what I can in with. I was so nervous, Mr Aden picked up on it asking if I was ok. I explained that I was nervous, and his response was " Are you a women of faith" I replied "yes". He said "DO NOT ALLOW ANYONE OR ANYTHING DISTURB YOUR PEACE". After that along with reading reviews of what he'd done for others put me at ease. He told me that he would do everything he could do that I wouldn't have to put my children back into my old car, and he did just that. This was an experience that I will never forget. I will be forever grateful fit his words and hard work... You've gained a customer for life.

I recently went into Jake Sweeney Chevrolet looking for a vehicle larger than the one I have currently . I met with Jessica Barger Smith and she was awesome ! During the time we were there her and Jay Wagstaff worked their hardest to find us the best deal on the vehicle we wanted. My husband and I had our 2 children with us , and they were more than accomadating. She even ordered pizza for all of us to share since the kids were getting restless and hungry. I requested information on a car listed on Cars.com. Darrin Aden answered my request and we started talking. It turned out there was a mix-up on Cars.com but Darrin told me that they had an identical car except the mileage was lower and hence, the price would be higher. I did what little analysis was available and told Darrin "if everything is as you say, I want to buy the lower mileage vehicle". Darrin sent me additional pictures and it turned out there was 1 difference, the lower mileage did not have chrome wheels, only aluminum wheels. While that was a deal breaker, I did further research and found chrome wheels that I liked for the car decided to go forth with the picture.I was working in Austin, TX so I flew into Cincinnati on a Friday night. Darrin picked me up on Saturday morning and explained that they had discovered 2 nails in the sidewall on the left rear tire. They had to buy a new tire and had some difficulty finding a new tire that matched what was on the car. They found one at a Tire Distributor in South Cincinnati and we picked it up on the way back from the airport.Got to the dealership and Darrin took the tire to the mechanic that had found the 2 nails and asked that he get it on and balanced as soon as possible because I had to drive back to Texas before Sunday night.While waiting, Darrin asked if I would like to join their morning prayer group. I said yes and we all joined hands (approximately 12 people) and before we stated praying, Darrin informed the group that I had flown in from Texas the night before and I needed safe travel for my trip home.After the prayer, Darrin and I took a shake down cruise for the car and did not find anything wrong.When we returned, Darrin took me to the CFO to take care of the paperwork. We did that and then I just waited until the car was ready to go.Darrin got into the car with me and showed me how to operate some of the features that I didn't have in my other cars and I then embarked on my trip home.After I cleared the Cincinnati traffic, I kicked the cruise control up to about 75 mph and was setting there enjoying the feel of the car and its great suspension (Cadillac CTS Coupe). All of a sudden, a car changed lanes right in front of me going much slower and I had to get on the brakes hard. To my surprise, that set off a bad vibration which felt like a rotor or rotors that were warped. I called Darrin and made him aware of the problem. He said for me to get it addressed and to send him a copy of the bill.I traveled on and got back to my home in Plano, TX at about 1 PM on Sunday. I took the car to Pep Boys and they confirmed that bother front rotors were warped and out of round. They turned both rotors and had the car fixed by Sunday evening at about 4 PM. In the interim, I had decided to fly back to Austin rather than try to make a fast trip on Sunday evening. I sent Darrin a copy of the bill on Monday and he took care of it.All in all, I was treated very professionally and left with a good feeling about Darrin and everyone associated with this dealership.

To preface, the MSRP on the truck was $60,600. Needless to say, I was expecting a reasonable amount of professionalism. Also, my father has been in car sales for 35 years so I have a very realistic gauge of what reasonable customer service is in car sales.I called Jake Sweeney sales to confirm the availability/price of a truck. I reach "salesman" GARY REED who agrees to check and call me back. An hour later while sitting in the DRs office I receive a text stating "confirmed" but no info on what is confirmed. I call Gary for clarification and he states "I already told you I confirmed it". I explain again that I need to know the asking price, in a pretty frustrated tone Gary states the price. I then request to see the truck later that day and Gary aggressively begins requesting that I place a deposit on the truck if I am a "serious buyer". When I refuse, Gary states he has 5 other appointments that day and demands to know if I am at another dealership. I explained that I was at the DR and not going to buy a vehicle sight unseen that is only 2 hrs away. Gary replies "well I guess your not a serious buyer". Reluctantly, I move forward w/ scheduling an appointment.I arrive at the dealership and see Gary at the agreed meeting place. After he overlooks me several times he finally asks in a shocked condescending tone if I am Ryan. (I guess a guy in a wheelchair and sweats doesn't meet the criteria for a "serious buyer"). The 1st thing Gary does when we get to the truck is crank the stereo up so loud I expected the speakers to blow. Even though I was now worried the speakers may be damaged and I was extremely dissatisfied with the way I had been treated I decide to move forward with the purchase. We go back to Gary's desk and he disappears for about 10 minutes. After he returns we discuss numbers for a few minutes and then he asks me to wait while he takes his brother out to the vehicle he just bought to show him a few things. A while later Gary returns and we agree on a price and to remove a $250 document fee. Gary goes to discuss the terms with his sales mgr while I sit alone for at least 30 minutes. Fed up, I inform another salesman that I'm leaving b/c I'm tired of sitting around clueless. Gary then appears with the paperwork that still reflected the $250 fee. After I point it out Gary says his mgr would not remove it. The fact that Gary tried to sneak the fee past me combined with his awful service was too much. I thanked him for his time and went outside to leave. Another salesman came out to ask why I was leaving. I decided not to complain about Gary and blamed it on the $250 fee. After a few minutes I decided not to let my frustrations get in the way of buying the truck I wanted. While waiting to finalize the paperwork I noticed the truck had been moved and now has mud splattered on it. Gary says "I hit some mud no big deal". (Uh that's my new truck, It's a BIG deal!). I ask if someone will be cleaning the truck before I take it home. Gary says all the cleaning guys are gone. I offer to bring it back tomorrow to be cleaned and he says no, "I guess I'll clean it up some". (I had been there for hours why wasn't this done before the cleaning crew left!?). Finally the sale is complete and I am ready to learn all about my brand new truck. I go outside and Gary is no where to be found! The truck had been sprayed with a hose and tire shine thrown on half the wheels. I felt absolutely cheated, anyone who has purchased a brand new vehicle knows that the feeling you get when driving it off the lot for the 1st time while it is the cleanest it will ever be is what makes taking the depreciation hit of buying new worth it. In spite of the horrendous experience I had at Jake Sweeney, I had managed to enjoy my new truck. Until the day I opened the passenger door and saw a sticker slapped onto the PAINT of my BRAND NEW $60k TRUCK! The sticker says "Sold by Gary Reed" and is STUCK to the paint. The last 5 vehicles I have purchased have been GM made. When I purchase a vehicle I need to feel confident that the manufacturer will stand behind their product and in order to reach the manufacture I must go through a dealer. I no longer feel comfortable that I will be protected in the event that something goes wrong with my vehicle. This poses a significant problem when I am also forced to spend another $85,000 in modifications so I can drive it to work and continue to be a productive tax paying member of society. This truck is a lifeline for my family as I cant just go out and rent a car if there is an issue. Therefore, I certainly cant afford to be at the bottom of my dealers priority list when I need them most. Growing up in Cincinnati, the Jake Sweeney brand used to mean quality and safety in buying but not anymore. The only thing I'll remember about buying a GM vehicle from Jake Sweeney is that I was nothing more than appointment # 6 on Gary Reeds schedule and after you hand the money over you are on your own.

I am a 68 year old widow and just bought my first ever brand new car from Jake Sweeney. My husband and I were married over 40 years and never bought a new car. We always bought used cars and my husband was a decent back yard mechanic so he had a good eye for a good deal. I was terrified to do this on my own. My salesman was understanding and I am quite sure he had his hands full with all my doubts and suspicions. I was treated like royalty and made to feel right at home. I had made an appointment to test drive a particular car. My chariot was ready for me when I arrived. I fell in love with the Chevy Spark and bought it that day. I am completely satisfied with the buying experience with Marcus Thompson. He did everything he could to make sure I drove off the lot with that 2015 Impala, because he knew that specific car was exactly what I wanted. Never at any point did I feel pressured to buy. This car buying experience was the absolute best that I have ever had in my life. I felt I was truly buying a car from my family. Although my credit score may have been in the crapper, you definitely couldn't tell by the overall treatment I experienced from the moment I came in the door until the moment I drove off of the lot. From Darren, his peers, his manager all the way through to the finance guy I couldn't believe how well I was treated. I was actually fitted like you would be in a custom made suit, with a car which I liked, could afford and that would help me rebuild my overall credit.And through the entire process they removed any stress that I felt because of my poor credit score. Darren even ensured that I had a ride to the dealership and if that wasn't enough while a deal was being worked out for me, he presented me with a vehicle to get back and forth to work. Drove there for a used escalade that was reported a little below retail price. Given this is at a dealership you would think the representation of the ad and inspection would be correct. The Kelley Blue book provided was the wrong model (not a platinum model), transmission had a issue, drivers seat belt did not work, back captain chairs broken and remotes were said to be $40 when they are 227 from dealer each. Sales man seemed friendly until caught in the lie. He set up his work area with religous stuff to try to remove doubt.They wasted 5 hours of my time and were not willing to negotiate on a car with two previous wrecks, only service was oil changes, and had many issues that would have taken a hour to repair before offering to sell. They do not care about their used products as taking no responsibility to the major issues. Also report inspected but drivers seat belt did not even work. Oh, no gas in the car for a test drive. Avoid this place.

Tyreese Lewis was very helpful in finding me a car that was in my budget and low in mileage. He even helped me on his day off to make sure that my car was being serviced and detailed. He also made sure that I received a loaner car while my car was being serviced and detailed, and he even called me to let me know when I was able to pick up my car. I filled out a survey previously and was contacted via email by the 'Service Manager' who said they would contact me. Well that was well over three weeks ago! I really didn't expect a reply anyway. I had my car in for service two times between January 5, 2016 and February 26, 2016 that took almost 2 months to fix! Although the time factor wasn't completely Jake Sweeney's fault, I do feel that they are responsible in some light. These were the absolute WORSE auto repair experiences of my life! I've always been leery of dealerships when it comes to auto repair and maintenance and this is exactly the reason why! I had a bad experience with another local dealer which is why I decided to give Jake Sweeney my business, hoping they would change my mind and they did, for the worse! I'll never go to another dealership again and definitely not back to Jake Sweeney Chevrolet! Too bad I didn't have the option of choosing NO stars! 4000 characters isn't enough for everything I want to type....

I would never buy a car here again. The buying process was overly simplified and then I never got my title documents in time to actually register my car. When I would call to try to speed up the process I would get half answers and then they started blaming me for the problems. Simply pathetic. You can find as good of deals elsewhere. And the lack of service makes this an easy decision: shop elsewhere.

My husband and I were interested in buying a new vehicle for our growing family. We went to Jake Sweeney because we have bought two other cars thru Jake Sweeny BMW and Jake Sweeney Mazda and were treated great and got a great deal on those vehicles. So we went to the Chevrolet dealership and was vary pleased with how we were being treated until it came down to the negotiations. When they came back with what we were getting the car for and what we owed on our trade and the out the door price of the new vehicle it wasn't adding up. So we told our salesman who called over another man and told him what we thought was a adding error on that form. He sat down on the desk and said ok how about we give you more for your trade and gave us a new out the door price. We said we needed to talk it over and would get back to them. When we left we figured out that the first offer was the Msrp price of the car and not the price they were going to sell the car to us for. And the second offer that the other man gave us was the actual number it should have been in the first place. He was acting like he was giving us more for our trade instead of just admitting the error. So we went elsewhere and bought our new vehicle and couldn't be happier. The vehicle we were interested in was a new 2015 not a 2016. So I know there is more room in the negotiation than on a 2016 model year.

Ok starts off they take the car give me a rental.service guy says to me 100 just to pop the hood I tell him I bought a warranty on car he calls me later and said not covered on part. and now the rental is costing me to. so he says total 308 and he said we need rental back I told him we will bring it back after work he says that's fine. me and my wife get there and they hit me with 400 bill I told them the one guy name steve (don't ever deal with) said 308 then they said sorry we just want are money. so we did pay them and said we will never be back. So if you need service run unless you love giving your hard earned money away. I will never buy or service at this place ever again. I bet Jake Sweeney don't know he has people working for him doing this.

I've purchased my last 5 vehicles from Jake Sweeney and each time my salespersons have disappointed. They go over and above to match the right automobile to me, my personality and my budget. I literally wait in the showroom while they bring the choice cars to me loaded with just what suits me.These salesmen don't just close the deal and walk away, they are careful to call and check on you, pick your car up for any sundry installations, or send a service person to you to do installs in your driveway if you can't come to the the dealership for service. I had a very good experience here and just wanted to share. We found a 2008 Honda Odyssey and called about it. I spoke with Matthew White about the cost of the vehicle and explained I did not want to haggle back and forth with the price and let him know that if his bottom number was not acceptable, I would not accept any counters and would move on. He presented me with a very fair price for the vehicle and I decided to move forward with the purchase of the vehicle. I appreciated that it didn't turn into a back and forth with the decision makers in the other room. Nothing worse than the good cop\bad cop routine that I have experienced at every other dealership I have purchased from. Financing was a breeze so I was then sent over to the finance department to sign the paperwork. When that was completed I went back to see Matt and he said the mechanics did their final check and found some issue that needed to be resolved before I was handed the keys. Since some parts needed to be ordered and I traded in my old car, he provided me with a new loaner until the issues were resolved. Keep in mind that I bought this as is with no warranty. They could have given me this car and the issues would have been on me but they didn't. It needed a motor for one of the sliding doors, a battery, and the front brake pads had some life but very little so they took care of that. In the end it was 1,100 dollars in repairs that didn't cost me a dime. Since I do not live very close to the dealership Matt offered to deliver my new vehicle to me when the repairs were complete, which he did. I would recommend the dealership but more importantly recommend Matt White. He went the extra mile for my family.

I came to Jake Sweeney Chevrolet after having a horrible experience at another lot followed by an unfortunate car accident. I met with Tyreese Lewis and he really listened to my concerns, respected my situation and helped me purchase a new vehicle that not only satisfied my need for a car, but one that would also make sense for me financially in years to come. A friend recommended Darrin at Jake Sweeney Chevrolet when I was in need of a new vehicle. I was nervous at first since this was my first purchase and I didn't want to deal with a pushy sales person. I was pleasantly relieved when I met Darrin as well as some of the other employees. Everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming. They work with you to make sure you get the perfect vehicle for you, not make a better sale. If you're looking for a new or used vehicle, I highly recommend you come here first. I'm sure your experience will be as good as mine!


Incentives and pricing just seemed way off pressured

Although the people were nice I felt some of the advertisements were a bit misleading. I initially went in to look at a chevy camaro and had an idea of what I wanted to spend and also was going for the zero percent financing being offered. Next thing I know after I talked with the person i worked with he said I have the perfect car he pulls up in a car that already had 3000 miles on it and said this is a great deal you get all the new car incentives etc. It was 6000 more than what i wanted get originally and didn't qualify for the zero percent financing. I was never told was the financing rate was and just shown what the payment would be out the door after asking for this information and such I basically was made to wait int he showroom for 30 minutes while who I was dealing with talked to his manager. It was very annoying and basically ruined my whole car shopping day as I sat for almost an hour on this stuff. Finally, offered another vehicle that qualified for zero percent financing and was more in my price range but supposedly had the same payment as the more upgraded car. Just seemed very shady and I felt pressured for something I didn't want to do. Ultimately, I will not be buying here as a result.

I spent countless hours in dealerships and with online pricing. Marcus Thompson was the best salesmen I have ever experienced. His overall personality, professionalism, honesty, and respect of the customer was a total class act. Marcus did not play the what payment ar you looking for game. I simply stated what out the door price I thought was fair and Marcus was right down to business and made it happen.

I stopped by Jake Sweeney Chevrolet just to look at a Camaro and was greeted by Hank Sykes, he was extremely professional. Hank was not pushy at all, he simply asked what we were looking for led us in the right direction. He was very knowledgeable about the vehicles he showed us, and answered all of my questions concerning specifics aspects of the different models. He did not try to play any games with us, and gave us a great price on our new Camaro. Hank is one of the main reasons that we purchased our new car from Jake Sweeney. Hank has continued to help us with gathering information about our new car even after the deal was done. He has gone above and beyond any other car salesman that I have ever dealt with. I highly recommend Hank to anyone who is looking for a new Chevy. He is very down to earth and makes it his business to get everyone he works with the best deal he can.
